HAVEN MADISON IS “OBSESSED” WITH HER NEW RELEASE & FALL TOUR SCHEDULE

Acclaimed the “Next Big Pop Star” by Katy Perry, Haven Madison is boldly “Obsessed” with her latest cheeky smash - available today. Handling shade with a beguiling metaphorical wink, "there is a confidence oozing from the pop sensation" (People). Listen to “Obsessed” now HERE.

Most recently teasing "Obsessed” in her set, Women’s Wear Daily praised that “the catchy tune instantly had the crowd screaming and dancing along, showcasing Madison’s knack for connecting with her audience.” Having just wrapped dates with New Hope Club, Haven is currently on the Young & Out of Love Tour with fellow American Idol fan-favorites - Blake Proehl, Kaibrienne and KAYKO - hitting major markets such as Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle and more.

“I think ‘Obsessed’ was such a healing song for me,” says Haven. “To be in the room with such incredible, talented and experienced writers, they encouraged me to take negativity and turn it into a compliment by allowing it to drive me instead of damage me. I wanted to record it because I hope it empowers other young creatives like it did us the day we made it. I can’t wait to play it on tour and dance any disdain right off our backs.”

The immensely honest lyricist, powerhouse vocalist, gifted multi-instrumentalist and captivating entertainer continues to showcase “her prowess as a performer” (Sweety High), bringing her electrifying live show and formidably confident setlist to fans, along with previewing even more new music.

Co-writing the song with Gene Simmons’ daughter Sophie Simmons, Serban Cazan and Smiley Omul, “Obsessed,” produced by Serban Cazan, follows Haven’s label-debut EP, Turn Off All The Lights, that Us Weekly praised as “reminiscent of [Taylor] Swift’s confident and revenge-focused album Reputation” and People applauded as “a sweet collection of irate songs that each hold a lyrical punch…Amongst this seesaw of lyrical emotions is an undeniable sonic stunner of a singer who seems to be able to effortlessly hit notes that some could only dream of hitting.”

DREW BALDRIDGE’S NEW SONG "TOUGH PEOPLE” OUT NOW

Chart-topping singer/songwriter Drew Baldridge’s new single, “Tough People,” is now available. Written by Baldridge alongside Adam Sanders, Jordan Walker, and Luke Combs, “Tough People” is the anticipated follow-up to Baldridge’s recent history-making No. 1 song, “She’s Somebody’s Daughter.Listen HERE.

"This song means so much to me,” said Baldridge. “Our world is full of tough people fighting to stay ahead every day. But for me, it’s my story about not giving up on my dreams. I had to risk everything to make 'She’s Somebody’s Daughter' a hit. It was definitely a tough time for me, but our team kept our heads down, worked hard, and pulled out a win—hard work pays off, good beats evil, and tough times make tough people.”

That hard work paid off in spades as the release of “Tough People” officially launches Baldridge’s new partnership with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. He has signed with Billboard’s “Indie Label of the Year” to support the new single on country radio. The song officially goes for adds on November 4 via Stoney Creek Records. Baldridge previewed the tune for radio friends this week in Memphis during St. Jude Country Cares as the music industry gathered to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in their efforts to support children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The video for “Tough People” will premiere today on YouTube at 4:00PM CT. Filmed in Baldridge’s hometown of Patoka, IL (population 550), the video features the real people of the town whose stories are reflected in the lyrics—patients battling cancer, farmers whose livelihoods depend on their crops, and nearly 1,000 locals from around the county who came out to support the music video.

Additionally, helping guide Baldridge into the next phase of his career, he has signed with Left | Right Management for representation. “From the moment I met Drew, I knew I wanted to be an advocate for everything he stood for,” said Left | Right President John Meneilly. “Then he played ‘Tough People’ for me and Jay King, and we wouldn’t stop calling him until he agreed to let us represent him!” Joining Meneilly and King on Baldridge’s management team are Alex Goodman and Hannah McElroy, who will serve as day-to-day managers.

Baldridge made country music history in August when his RIAA GOLD-certified hit, “She’s Somebody’s Daughter,” went No. 1 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. He is the only self-funded artist ever to hit that mark with his first No. 1 song. Additionally, he became the highest-charting independent artist ever on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, a record previously held by Aaron Watson since 2017. The song has amassed over 1.1 billion streams and impressions across all platforms.

Baldridge is currently on the road for his Drew Baldridge Live tour dates throughout the end of the year before he kicks off his run on Cody Johnson’s Leather Deluxe Tour in 2025. When he is not writing and recording, he hosts a weekly radio show on LA’s Go Country (KKGO) every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM PT. For more information, visit DrewBaldridgeMusic.com.

Ian Munsick Releases Sobering “Fixin’ Me”

When Wyoming native Ian Munsick moved to Nashville ten years ago to pursue music, he noticed a recurring theme among the relationships he observed that began amid the neon signs and party culture which permeates the town. Reflecting on this, Munsick’s sobering “Fixin’ Me” cites the toxic push-and-pull that often results, as one person tries to fix bad habits while the other remains complacent. Listen to “Fixin’ Me” Below.

“There are a lot of bars in Nashville, a lot of drinking, a lot of broken love stories out there. I think that's everywhere, but especially in Nashville, alcohol really is the driver of how you meet people in the industry, and a lot of love stories happen through it,” Munsick shared in an interview with RFD-TV.

“Fixin’ Me” was written by Munsick, Trannie Anderson and Jared Conrad, and produced by Munsick, Conrad and Jeremy Spillman. View full lyrics and credits HERE.

“Nothing is more relatable than personal experience,” Munsick adds. “As a songwriter, I’ve always tried to write about what I know instead of what I think people want to hear. ‘Fixin’ Me’ is an intimate look at a relationship where one person is fixing themselves and the other is breaking because of that. When I started leaking this song to friends, most of them had experienced this same kind of relationship. It’s funny how the things we keep closest to our chest are actually the things that others relate to the most. That’s why being real and honest will always heal us in music and in life.”

Celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker alike for putting the “western back in country,” Munsick most recently released “Western Woman,” intertwining his love of the west and respect for the women who shape it.

As he continues to tease new music, Munsick is also touring as direct support on select dates of reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour. Munsick has a few remaining headlining shows through 2024, including his NFR kick-off at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Dec. 6, with special guests Maggie Antone and Carson Jeffrey.

About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick painted a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album 23-track White Buffalo: Introduce You To God, out now. Spanning unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honkytonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun, it builds upon the spacious roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Over the past four years, Munsick has accumulated over 775 million global streams and a host of accolades. He has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and most recently was named a Martin Showcase Artist. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson, and as direct support for select dates of Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again tour, while simultaneously headlining his own Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour and Country & WESTern Tour presented by Boot Barn. The Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown, was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” and “Horses Are Faster.” Fans of Ian Munsick will always find an open heart, natural awe and plainspoken honesty as he rides on… bringing the West to the rest. Chase Rice: 'Fireside Sessions' Surprise Release Available Everywhere Now

With both I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, praised by Billboard as “one of 2023's most unexpected artistic pivots” and as one of the best albums of the year across all genres, plus Go Down Singin’, lauded by Rolling Stone as “an excellent collection of poignant, often anthemic country…a more refined, emotionally vulnerable version of what he does best,” Chase Rice returned to his songwriter-first roots. Now, he doubles down on that notion, with his surprise Fireside Sessions album featuring all 25 songs from both records as live, single-take versions with cowriters including Lori McKenna, Jackson Dean, Hunter Phelps, Randy Montana and more as featured artists. Listen HERE.

“The cool part about tonight, and why we put this together, is because the I Hate Cowboys record and the Go Down Singin’ record were the start of a whole new part of my life and my career. It was no longer chasing whatever was popular; it was finally just writing songs that I cared about, writing them on guitar – which is how I started writing songs – and then Oscar Charles producing the last two albums together. We wanted to finalize all that by coming together tonight,” Rice shared while unveiling the surprise project during his debut at the iconic Bluebird Café in Nashville with a special writers’ round featuring Charles plus fellow collaborators Blake Pendergrass, John Byron and Jonathan Sherwood. “We're going to drop the Fireside Sessions album tonight which is featuring all these songwriters, and songwriters on both albums, and it's going to be all of us just playing guitar like you're seeing tonight, and that's going to be the finalization of this chapter.”

Bringing together the cover images from each of the preceding albums, the Fireside Sessions album art unites Rice and his late father as grown men for the first time, bringing to life the lyric from album closer “You In ‘85” which Rice describes as the overarching theme of this multi-album musical chapter: “So if I could have one thing it’d be us man to man / A couple Coors Banquets in hand

In paying homage to his dad, Rice’s vulnerable approach directly impacted his musical shift towards stripped-back authenticity as he grappled lyrically with that loss and how it has impacted him as both a man and an artist. Recorded around the fireplace at his farm outside Nashville in the style of Music City’s famous writers’ rounds, Fireside Sessions now serves as the culmination of that multi-album tribute as he looks ahead to new music covering other topics already in the works.

“I’ve always written songs like these but was never inspired enough to put them out,” he shared with the Tennessean. “Now I'm at a place where records I wasn’t inspired to let see the light of day define my career. Come hell or high water, this is the kind of music that I now make.”

About Chase Rice
With more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With independent album Go Down Singin’ available everywhere now as the follow-up to the critically acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, and both brought together on brand new offering Fireside Sessions, Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the American West. The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, which featured his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and the Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.”

This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the 3x Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice served as direct support on Dierks Bentley’s 2024 Gravel & Gold Tour and consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours across the U.S. and beyond.

Chilean Thrashers NUCLEAR Release New EP - 'Violent DNA'

Today, Chilean Death/Thrash outfit NUCLEAR release their highly anticipated new EP 'Violent DNA' alongside a new video for "Siege of Power", a cover paying homage to the legendary Napalm Death.

NUCLEAR's seventh studio release, 'Violent DNA', brings devastating brutality to the table with three new rabid songs and three cover songs. This EP will transport you to the early 90s and won't release its grip until the final note fades. Thick-sounding guitars, insanely fast drumming, and non-stop deafening screams are the key ingredients for this perfect storm.

Standout tracks "Violent DNA" and "Psychological Infanticide" showcase the South American quintet's sonic hostility. Even before listening, the graphic and gruesome cover art captures your attention. Without a doubt, 'Violent DNA' will become a must-have for all metalheads in 2024.

This is something we cannot change: This is our 'Violent DNA'.

NUCLEAR states:

“Humanity has a dark, violent and ruthless side. From our very origins as a species, we have been part of a cruel demonstration of imposing ourselves with violence on others. That is how it has been and that is how it will continue to be. It is that sort violence that inspires this new release. It is our core, our past, and our future and there is nothing we can do to change it”.

ARISING EMPIRE ALERT: Resolve Share New Video

French Metalcore quartet Resolve have today released their Human (Extended Cut) album and unveiled the anthemic new single "Smile" via Arising Empire.

Being the latest track to be revealed from the deluxe album, "Smile" follows both the earth-shaking single "Molotov" and the recent sinister single "Sandman" in different fashion.

"'Smile' is the most straight-forward love song... until it's not," mentions Resolve bassist Robin Mariat. "There's obviously a gigantic gap in between this sound and 'Sandman' and the all-in aggression, but our musical DNA is spread across these two ends of the spectrum. So it made perfect sense for us to have this track as the final release of the Human cycle, as it's reminiscent of fan-favorite 'New Colors' or even 'Ignite,' a deeper cut off the album."

Watch the video below.

Stream, purchase Human (Extended Cut) now as limited colored vinyl or CD at the Arising Empire Shop.

Building upon a world shaped by the original version, the Human (Extended Cut) will included the new single "Sandman," the recent single "Molotov," more brand-new music, "The Fire, The Aftermath, The Everlasting" live performance and the original set of tracks from the album.

"This is a new form of release for us, which is very exciting," Mariat continues. "We get to build up on the world that we shaped for Human, and these new tracks are the continuation of the story. These new tracks definitely have something for everyone, whether you like the heavier side of Resolve, or if you are more into our melodic capabilities."

"The only thing we can ask for is for people to listen through the whole record (Human), because if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that this album has something for everyone, even people that may be far removed from metal," shares Mariat when talking about their sophomore album  a record that saw their single "Older Days" featuring Paleface Swiss and Ten56 go viral and surpass over 3.6 million streams to date.

Ever since their public reveal in February 2017 with the debut single "Exposed," the quartet has been eager to show their peers that they won't settle for anything but greatness. Also, Resolve have opened shows for Architects, Every Time I Die, While She Sleeps, Underoath, ERRA, and more.

chokecherry Release Debut EP + Share "Messy Star" Video

San Francisco shoe gaze x grunge pop trio chokecherry — comprised of vocalist/guitarist Izzie Clark and bassist/vocalist E. Scarlett Levinson, along with drummer Abri Crocitto — have dropped the incredibly buzzy EP Messy Star, their debut release for Fearless Records. The EP has been grabbing attention from the likes of Alternative Press, Playboy.com, and Bringin' It Backwards.

Get it here

Today, chokecherry have also shared the epic video for the title track, in which the band pulls back the curtain on some of its unexpected influences.

Watch it Below.

Often the band's closing number during their live sets, "Messy Star" is a thrashing nod to their heavier sound, taking inspiration from artists like Turnstile, Ty Segall, and Mannequin Pussy. The track tells a story of metaphorical demonic possession, and being at the mercy of a mischievous and destructive "shadow self."

"This song is truly meant to make you dance and lose your mind in the moshpit," the band states. "Lyrically, the song touches on themes of being at war with yourself (or rather, your shadow self) and peeling back the curtain on the dark parts of the human psyche. The narrator of the track sits in a more fictional role than our other songs, which was fun to explore and build a narrative around — a sort of villain arc, if you will. The nature of the 'possession' is open to interpretation, but listeners can relate to its references to addiction, insecurity, and self-destruction. For us, it invokes memories of the sweaty L.A. punk shows that shaped our musical repertoire."

chokecherry continue, "We wrote this song as a homage to our doom, psych rock, and hardcore influences. This is the earliest chokecherry track that made it to a record. From the track's inception, it was an odyssey that took different forms from its live performances to its eventual recording for this EP."

chokecherry have been steadily making noise since meeting on the dating app Hinge. The San Francisco Gate praised chokecherry's "blend of white-hot shoegaze," calling it "the modern sound of the California sun vaporizing the San Francisco fog." Clark and Levinson may not have worked out on the romantic front, but the pair are clearly musical soulmates and it's
beautiful thing to witness and hear.

Chokecherry will capture the hearts of rock fans everywhere with songs that boast thick, '70s-inspired bass lines laden with strategically placed howls and hums. Their passionate, hypnotic delivery overflows and fills into every word, allowing vulnerability that listeners can truly attach to. If their Spotify streams —2.8 million global streams and counting — are any indication of how many music fans will dig what chokecherry are putting down, then it's time for 2024 to buckle the F up.

2025 better be ready, too. Because there is more on the way from chokecherry.

Morgan Wallen Releases “Love Somebody (Live from Neyland Stadium)”

After concluding two years on the road touring his third studio album with his record-setting One Night At A Time tour, 15-time Billboard Music Awards winner Morgan Wallen has doubled down in the studio setting up his next era. Today, to commemorate Friday’s (10/18) release of “Love Somebody” and his homecoming shows in Knoxville in September – which became the largest weekend on-record for the city with 156,161 fans in attendance – Wallen releases his “Love Somebody (Live from Neyland Stadium)” music video. Watch Below.

Directed by David Lehr & David Forehand and co-directed by Global Extreme, “Love Somebody (Live from Neyland Stadium)” was filmed Sept. 22 on the second of two nights at University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium. Wallen became only the fourth artist ever to play the venue, which is the sixth largest college football stadium in the U.S., and surpassed the attendance record previously held by The Jackson 5 across three shows in 1984 (148,407).

“‘Love Somebody’ is a little bit of a new approach lyrically and sonically,” Wallen shared upon the song’s release on Oct. 18. “I wanted to try something different, with what I wanted to talk about, how I wanted it to sound, and we were inspired by Latin-leaning influences. I’m really excited about this song and pumped that it is out.”

“Love Somebody,” celebrated by HITS Daily Double as a “heartbreak hit-in-the-making,” was written by Wallen alongside John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Elof Loelv and Ryan Vojtesak, and was produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome (Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time). Craving something different against a neon-lit backdrop, the East Tennessean singer/songwriter offers a candid glimpse at the difficulties of finding someone “Who ain't hypnotized / By dollar signs and blindin' lights,” as he searches for authenticity.

Also in 2025, Wallen will host his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Wallen, Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY will headline the festival across three days and three nights, with additional guests including Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, T-Pain, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, The War on Drugs, 2 Chainz, Chase Rice, Three 6 Mafia, 3 Doors Down, Ella Langley, ERNEST, Morgan Wade, Moneybagg Yo and more. For full details and tickets, visit sandinmybootsfest.com as tickets go on sale this Friday (10/25).

About Morgan Wallen
When 15-time Billboard Music Awards-winner and current CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Morgan Wallen released his third studio album One Thing At A Time in 2023, its instant success left The New York Times proclaiming Wallen as “one of the biggest stars in pop, period.” One Thing At A Time has remained atop the all-genre Billboard 200 chart for 19 non-consecutive weeks, the most weeks at No. 1 for a Country album, and was the most-streamed album of the year on Spotify. The album’s 7x-Platinum single “Last Night” reeled in over 2.2 billion streams globally, becoming the most-streamed song of any genre in the U.S. across Apple Music and Spotify, and the longest running No. 1 solo song in Hot 100 history (16 weeks total). Recent collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” debuted at country radio with 167 first week adds, becoming only the second single in chart history to debut with the support of all reporting stations. Since its release, “I Had Some Help” remained No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 all-genre charts for six weeks.

With 15 chart-toppers at country radio, Wallen’s 87-show One Night At A Time World Tour, spanning two years, 10 countries/3 continents and 51 stadium plays, concluded at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium on Oct. 19. Performing to over 3.1 million fans, One Night At A Time was named a Billboard and Pollstar Country Tour of the Year in 2023, as well as People’s Choice Country Concert Tour of 2024, surpassing attendance records in numerous stops; including Neyland Stadium and Ohio Stadium, where Wallen became the largest weekend ever for both venues. Wallen donates a portion from every ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation.

Tattoos features 10 songs all co-written and co-produced by the Georgia native with a trusted cast of long-time collaborators, lauded by Men’s Journal as “a one-of-a-kind for the Country genre,” while GRAMMY.com shares Gilbert “inks another portrait of small-town country life.”

The album mirrors Gilbert’s ink in both striking design and depth of meaning. Through flowing curves and jagged lines, shadow and light look back on a life of blue-collar pride and full-throttle rebellion – along with addictive love, abiding faith and blessings beyond what any of us deserve, as All Country News shares “Brantley Gilbert remains a force of nature in the country rock scene, marked by a raw honesty that fans have come to revere.”

In conjunction with the release of Tattoos, Gilbert brought together 118,000 people in downtown Nashville for Brantley Gilbert’s World’s Largest Album Release Party and recently wrapped his headlining Off The Rails Tour last Saturday in Macon, Georgia, with a portion of the proceeds from the final six shows going to Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

About Brantley Gilbert
As one of the godfathers of country’s modern rock-and-rap edge, multi-Platinum The Valory Music Co. trailblazer Brantley Gilbert knows life has a way of leaving a mark. With his seventh studio album, Tattoos, available now, the Georgia native chooses to embrace it – inspired by the idea that his tattoos tell a story, just like his songs. And just like his songs, he’ll never hide the truth they reveal. An era-defining artist forever bonded to his fans, Gilbert’s been mining the timeless values of hard-working dedication, high-octane thrills and humble faith since his 2009 debut, A Modern Day Prodigal Son, creating a chart-topping grit-and-grace fusion which helped set the stage for today’s genre-blending format. With his dedicated BG Nation behind him, the fiery performer-songwriter has racked up more than 8.3 BILLION career streams, boasting back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits including the RIAA 7x Platinum “Bottoms Up;” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide;” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do;” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen;” and the Platinum-certified “What Happens In A Small Town” with Lindsay Ell. His world-class pen helped create a watershed hit with Jason Aldean’s 4x Platinum country-rap game changer, “Dirt Road Anthem.” And possessing a can’t-fake-it quality of fierce independence, the ACM, CMA and AMA award winner has toured alongside everyone from Willie Nelson and Toby Keith to Kenny Chesney, Nickelback and more. Tattoos further cements his legacy – 10 cowritten, co-produced tracks with an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, as Gilbert’s diesel-powered smoke-and-soul vocal delivers another full-spectrum soundtrack to modern country life. Tracks like full-throttle “Off the Rails” and intoxicating chart-climbing single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke lead a set packed with guest appearances from Gary LeVox, Justin Moore, Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones. About Ashley Cooke
With Big Loud / Back Blocks Music country artist Ashley Cooke, it’s best to know what you’re getting into – because this emerging star is the definition of more than meets the eye. A graceful exterior matched by a casual-cool nature. Skillfully crafted lyrics and a knack for unforgettable performance. Effortless vocal beauty and a bold sense of internal grit, freely mixing it up with the boys while she rallies the girls. And most important, a passion for capturing the magic between heartbeats, each moment as unique as she is. Still early in her journey, being herself has already served Cooke well. It’s led to chart-climbing hits like “your place” and “Never Til Now” with Brett Young, national TV appearances on ABC’s The Bachelorette, tours with Cole Swindell, Jordan Davis and more. Hailing from Parkland, Fla., Cooke embraces the energy of pop and depth of country. Vivid and emotionally pure, her sun-kissed blend of two-lane pop is often inspired by true tales of love, loss, and living, matching raw relatability and deeply addictive hooks. Fully capturing the essence of a daring twenty-something growing up, chasing her dreams and taking risks, her striking debut album shot in the dark has garnered Cooke praise from Billboard who named her the July 2023 Rookie of the Month. Cooke went on to win her first CMT Award for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year at the 2024 CMT Awards before being nominated for ACM New Female Artist of the Year, adding to previous recognition as one of MusicRow’s 2023 Discovery Artist of the Year and Next Big Thing as well as iHeartCountry’s On The Verge artist. Meanwhile, her award-winning single “your place” continues to take her career to new heights as she notches her first career No.1 song at Country radio and takes her headlining your place Tour to cities nationwide.

JSqrd & the Mixed-Up Zombies unveils remix of amusing single 'Do The Wilhelm Scream'

San Francisco collective JSqrd & the Mixed-Up Zombies have shaken things up in relation to their debut single 'Do The Wilhelm Scream', released several weeks ago. Here, he and his coven of zombies offer a fresh stab at this song, livening thing up even more with an upbeat remix. The accompanying video takes the novelty further into Halloween-esque territory, complete with Shriners and Star Wars stormtroopers. Take it away, you groovy ghoulies!

Inspired by an iconic sound that has echoed through theaters for generations, 'Do The Wilhelm Scream' takes inspiration from this Hollywood tradition, which dates back to 1951. JJ (JSqrd) Holoubek brings this effect from the silver screen to the music scene in a fun and upbeat country-rock song that will have you tapping your feet to sounds once synonymous with thrill and suspense.

"Doing a remix was honestly the most logical and natural thing to do. A tune this straight forward was just begging for a little deconstruction, and more importantly, updating. Well, consider it done, while all the while grounding things with some crazy bongo fury," says JJ Holoubek (JSqrd).

“‘Country-pop’ has been done, well, with all due respect, ad nauseum. It was high time to plow a new genre: hillbilly-hop—and toss in a little spice for, you know, the kids, as well as a bone-rattling bass drop. It’s time is like (snap) Nowsville, daddy... You’re welcome.”

Based in San Francisco, JJ Holoubek has spent decades playing guitar and bass in bands - both original and cover bands - spanning California's central coast and the SF Bay Area. However, he is best known as a founding member of the Trees of Mystery, a much-beloved band of semi-alcoholic musical misfits and troublemakers from San Luis Obispo, CA, who grabbed for the brass ring only to come up empty-handed.

Guitars, guitarists, and their bands have been of a lifelong interest to JSqrd. From the likes of Duane Allman, the Steve's of Howe & Hackett and Tom Verlaine, he's taken chunks and/or tidbits from them all, added a dash of Capt. Beefheart and punk what-have-you to form, however misshapen, an approach and tone uniquely his own. Serving up a novelty song seemed like the only right and proper thing to do; a quite natural outcome when mixing blues, prog, new wave and noise.

An avid Burning Man attendee, JSqrd has been bringing half- and nearly full-assed art to the event for a quarter century. His "art" has lived, crashed, burned and risen by the event's unofficial moto: 1000 great ideas, poorly executed. Also a seasoned voice-over artist and actor, JJ Holoubek has never been shy to put a smile on an horribly written infomercial or butcher any accent from any continent.

Whether you're mixing things up or prefer the original, JSqrd & the Mixed-Up Zombies invite you to... Do the Wilhelm Scream!! This country-pop ditty is out now, available everywhere online, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.

Hollywood Forever” embraces the band’s trademark edge, both lyrically and sonically. Never pulling punches when it comes to gritty vulnerability and authentic honesty, the track perfectly displays the reason Hollywood Undead have such a deep and unbreakable connection with their fans whilst also honoring it. The release of “Hollywood Forever” heralds the start of an exciting new partnership between Hollywood Undead with Sumerian Records, a label known for championing boundary-pushing acts in the rock and alternative scenes. The deal signals a fresh chapter for the band and ignites the fuse on a new season of creativity, continuing to push boundaries, buck trends and shape pop culture without seeking permission or approval. “It’s refreshing to find a group of people who share the same vision and are as passionate as we are about this next chapter for Hollywood Undead” Says Charlie Scene “Our idea of what this band could be has never seemed so possible. Excited to get started.” Ash Avildsen, founder and CEO of Sumerian Records adds “Hollywood Undead is a band who are unapologetically themselves. They are authentic, diehard for their art and never back down from taking a chance for what they believe. In an era where so much has been vitiated, these gents carry the torch for the attitude of rock that made me fall in love with it as a kid.”

As Hollywood Undead moves forward, the band is looking back to the fans who helped shape their path. From their breakout hits like “Undead” and “Everywhere I Go”, to recent anthems like “City of the Dead” and “House of Mirrors” featuring rock-country crossover star Jelly Roll, the band's ability to adapt while staying true to their roots has ensured their longevity. Their continued success is a testament to the fierce loyalty of their fanbase and the relentless dedication of the band. Hollywood Undead continues to dominate across digital platforms. The band has now surpassed an astonishing 3.1 billion cross-platform streams and over 1 billion YouTube views, cementing their status as one of the most streamed rock bands of their generation with an ever-evolving sound that continues to resonate with a global audience. You’re not going to want to miss the next era of one of modern rock’s most important and enduring bands, so stay tuned for more coming from Hollywood Undead soon.

EPICA - Unveil Haunting Music Video For New Single 'The Ghost In Me (Danse Macabre)' In Collaboration With De Efteling

Dare to dance with the dead! Dutch symphonic metal titans EPICA have unleashed their eeriest creation yet, the spine-chilling music video for 'The Ghost in Me (Danse Macabre),' a haunting track that lures listeners into a world where shadows dance and the afterlife whispers. This song is a unique collaboration with Europe’s second-most visited theme park, Netherlands’s magical DeEfteling, and their much-anticipated new attraction, Danse Macabre.

Drenched in ghostly imagery, the video mirrors the unsettling thrill of De Efteling’s new ride, which opens its gates on October 31st, right in time for this Halloween season. Ever since their childhood, every member of EPICA has loved this theme park that welcomes over 5 million visitors per year. Therefore, this collaboration was a true match made in the otherworld.

Submerge yourself now in the music video which was filmed right inside and in front of the new attraction - and as if this wasn’t already exciting enough, the band even received their very own “Epica gravestone” that you can spot, if you look closely.

EPICA’s keyboard player, Coen Janssen, comments:

“Every kid in the Netherlands knows how magical ‘de Efteling’ is, and working this closely with the most beautiful theme park in the world surely is a dream come true! As a young boy, I immediately got captivated by the “Danse Macabre” by Saint-Saëns as a soundtrack for their haunted house “Spookslot”. So when ‘de Efteling’ announced their new plans for the ghostly attraction “Danse Macabre” all pieces of the puzzle fell into place immediately: Why not combine our symphonic side with the ’scary’ side of metal and do our version of this epic classical piece?!? We are so happy that ‘de Efteling’ trusted our vision and gave their full support, providing us with the new ride's storyline, so we could write lyrics fitting the fantastic narrative and even add a new chapter!”

‘The Ghost In Me (Danse Macabre)’ lures fans into a darkly enchanting dance with the dead in this YouTube video and will also appear on all streaming platforms soon… when more of Epica’s next chapter will be unveiled.

The song has already made its live debut at the band’s monumental 'Symphonic Synergy' shows in Amsterdam this September, and fans in Latin America will have the chance to be the next to hear it live at two shows that EPICA will perform exclusively with a full orchestra and choir.

CARSEX Share New Track "Sitting Ducks"

Punk band CARSEX have released their ferocious new track “Sitting Ducks”.  It’s the follow-up to the Long Beach, CA based band’s successful single & video “Crooked Canvas”.  Both were produced by Steve Evetts (Sepultura, Alesana, Poison the Well, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Butcher Babies).  The track is a deep dive into current human-interest stories, and the shape of the human condition in 2024.

“Sitting Ducks” is a frenetic, all-out barrage of sound with distorted guitars & a menacing rhythm line that explodes into a supersonic metal/punk mashup. It’s a mix of Henry Rollins/Black Flag, with a bit of Danzig mixed in for good measure.  It’s an unrelenting anthem of angst.

CARSEX Singer Nigel Burk says “Sitting Ducks’ is a kind of “they live” type song. It covers the helplessness and monotony of a modern world and the meaninglessness that follows what’s viewed “important” by society at large, and the misalignment of priorities in today’s chaotic times”.

About CARSEX:

CARSEX amped-up sound is what the name implies: Sleazy, primitive, uncomfortable - and just as good as your friends told you it’d be.

Forged by the survivors of Long Beach music scene bands Damned Age, Black Velvet Brigade, and Red River Massacre, the five music veterans in CARSEX have slugged it out in the clubs of Orange County, California for more than 10 years.  While performing shows in these various groups on the circuit they became friends over time.  As the bands they were in either dissolved or changed direction – they decided to form under a new banner with shared musical tastes & goals, and CARSEX formed in 2018. Their sound is a mix of Circle Jerks/Black Flag/The Germs, with Danzig, Fu Manchu & a bit Queens of the Stone Age blended into a potent combination. They play hard and loud with no hint of an apology.

The band has previously released 2 EPs: 2019’s CarSex and 2020’s 2020 EP, which featured the singles “Your Generation” and “Lovesick”.   A new EP is being finalized and will be released in the 1st quarter of 2025.

CARSEX is very much a live band, and is playing shows in support the new music.  They’ve opened for Stillwell (Fieldy from Korn’s Band), The Obsessed, Mondo Generator, Suicide Silence, Unsane, Dead Poet’s Society, Narcoleptic Youth, and O’Zorn!, among others.

LA psychrock outfit Tombstones In Their Eyes reveals trippy video for 'I Like To Feel Good'

American psych-gaze outfit Tombstones In Their Eyes present the visuals for their new single 'I Like to Feel Good'. The video itself, oscillating between electrified stage performances and scenes from a chilled drive through LA, seemingly reflects the transformation inherent in this song's lyrics, expressing how one's inner strength and individuality can be a catalyst for positive change.

Espousing a heavier sound than the two earlier-released singles from this album - 'Sweet as Pie' and 'I'm Not Like That' - 'I Like To Feel Good foreshadows the band's 'Asylum Harbour' album, out on November 19 via Kitten Robot Records, which sees TITE mainman pull past the pain, numbness and chaos reflected on their previous album 'Sea of Sorrow'.

Based in Los Angeles, Tombstones In Their Eyes is made up of long-time members John Treanor (vocals & guitar), Stephen Striegel (drums), Courtney Davies (vocals) , Phil Cobb (guitar) and Paul Boutin (guitar), along with new band members Joel Wasko (bass) and Clea Cullen (vocals).

"'I Like to Feel Good' has probably my favorite verse of any song that I’ve written. It’s the second long verse and it was written in a stream of consciousness fashion.  I don’t believe that I changed any of the words that came out in that first pass. And it really hit home. It summed up my existence, thinking that my sensitivity was a burden and a malady, only to find that it is a gift that I can use to make life better," says John Treanor.

"Beyond that verse, it also has a really cool wah part leading from the main verse to the last chorus. The part only lasts thirty seconds or less but it came out so good. And I love the overall vibe and sound of the song, it sounds super fuzzy and driving (in the verses especially)."

Recorded at Kitten Robot Studios in Los Angeles and  co-produced by John Treanor, this album was produced and engineered by Paul Roessler (45 Grave, Twisted Roots, The Screamers, Nina Hagen), also known for his work with Josie Cotton, Hayley and the Crushers and Gitane Demone.

Tombstones In Their Eyes began a decade ago as a demo-swapping exercise between two childhood friends separated by geography (John Treanor in LA and James Cooper in NYC), but soon blossomed into a full-fledged band and a healthy stream of expansive music that is laced with fuzzed out psychedelic majesty.

For John, writing and performing has always been a way to deal with anxiety and depression, to speak about a subject without being the centre of the conversation, and to express oneself in a subliminal way rather than directly. This music looks out into the universe as much as it looks inward toward the soul.

Named after a maritime phrase for a safe place to wait out a storm, 'Asylum Harbour' is an album of resurfacing, reflecting a new phase of healing after re-emerging from the pandemic. Treanor shares, "The album has been ready for some time, so it’s a relief to get it out.... Now we get to go out and play the songs from the new record live."

'I Like to Feel Good' is out now, available everywhere online, including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp. The full 'Asylum Harbour' album, available November 18 on snazzy red vinyl, CD and digitally, can be pre-ordered directly from Kitten Robot Records or via Bandcamp.

CATHY RANKIN TEAMS UP WITH DAVID ELLEFSON AND KEN MARY ON NEW SINGLE, "NOW YOU'VE GONE" BEING RELEASED OCTOBER 29TH THROUGH DEKO ENTERTAINMENT

Cathy Rankin will release her debut single "Now You've Gone," featuring renowned musicians David Ellefson (formerly of Megadeth) and Ken Mary (formerly of Alice Cooper). The emotional track, inspired by deeply personal experiences, reflects on themes of love, grief, and ultimately hope, and will be accompanied by an official music video.

Fans can pre-order the single here: https://push.fm/ps/nug

Rankin wrote the song as a tribute to legendary drummer Neil Peart, and her nephew, Christian. "Both had a permanent impact on my life," she shares. "Neil’s music and lyrics were a huge influence for me, and my nephew was a light in this world for the 18 years he was here. The song is my way of expressing the void I felt when they were gone, and connecting with others who have experienced similar feelings of loss."

The project came naturally as Rankin, Ellefson, Mary, and guitarist John Bronson, were all connected through their music roots in Arizona, and their involvement with the Metal Hall of Fame. They discovered their shared passion for RUSH which led to the development of the song. Rankin explains, "Ken co-wrote and produced the track while John and I have played and performed together for years. David jumped on board, and everything just clicked. The entire process was a fun and smooth experience and we formed lasting friendships."

Both Mary and Ellefson are proud of the project. "Working with Cathy is amazing," said Mary. "She's a total pro, and when I heard her idea for this song, I wanted to get involved right away. She's an incredible talent, and I feel the song is the most moving tribute I've heard to date."
Ellefson added, "She did a fantastic job honoring Neil with this moving tribute. May this song continue to live to honor our prog hero from fans such as us."

Music enthusiasts will not want to miss the official video. Rankin shares her excitement, stating, "RUSH fans, especially, will catch the subtle metaphors and nods to the Professor, but rock fans in general will appreciate the exceptional musicianship and production."

Though "Now You've Gone" is Rankin's first original single, she’s been active in the music scene for years, co-hosting the Metal Hall of Fame with Eddie Trunk, the Annual Bubba Bash with YYNOT (honoring Neil) and singing on countless stages with her successful cover bands. This release is the perfect introduction to Rankin as an original artist, and fans can expect more to come. To celebrate the release of “Now You’ve Gone” Rankin is signing a limited amount of “Exit Stage Left” inspired flats and making available the brand-new Cathy Rankin official t-shirt.
