LAINEY WILSON SECURES CMA FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Lainey Wilson entered the 2024 CMA Awards as a host alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning for the first time this year and by the close of the show was awarded two CMA Awards including: Female Vocalist of the Year, her third consecutive win in the category, and Music Video of the Year for her #1 hit song “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”

In her acceptance speech for Female Vocalist of the Year, Lainey shared: "I've always been told if you feel like you've got a gift, you're supposed to share it, and I think that means whether you drive a tractor or pour coffee, make people smile or laugh, whatever that is I think you're supposed to share that gift."

Throughout the broadcast, Lainey would take the stage for two performances — an emotive, cinematic adaption of her current Top 20 and rising Broken Bow Records single “4x4xU” from her 2025 GRAMMY-nominated Country Album of the Year, Whirlwind, and again for the George Strait tribute performing his signature “Amarillo By Morning.” Lainey's live adaptation of "4x4xU" will release tonight to all streaming platforms. Pre-save/pre-add HERE.

BMG Publishing was proud to see writer Dan Wilson capture a CMA Award for Song of the Year for “White Horse,” a track co-penned and recorded by Chris Stapleton.

In addition, 2025 GRAMMY nominee Jelly Roll, a three-time nominee at the 2024 CMA Awards, also hit the stage twice throughout the broadcast — first with Brooks & Dunn, 2024 Duo of the Year winners, for a powerful and moving performance of “Believe” that had the audience in tears and later with Keith Urban on his fiery Stoney Creek Records single “Liar” from his just-released Billboard 200 #1 album, Beautifully Broken.

Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan Team Up for THE ROAD: New Singing Competition Series Coming to CBS, Fall 2025

CBS announced today the new singing competition series THE ROAD (working title) has been ordered to series for fall 2025. From executive producers Blake Shelton, Taylor Sheridan, Lee Metzger and David Glasser, the docu-follow format trails a headlining superstar (to be announced) on their journey to discover the next big artist. Singers will join the headliner on tour, performing as opening acts in venues across the country. They will compete to win over local fanbases to secure a spot in the next city and remain on the tour.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Glasser’s 101 Studios with Shelton and Metzger’s Lucky Horseshoe Productions. Taylor Sheridan and David Glasser serve as executive producers. Blake Shelton and Lee Metzger serve as executive producers for Lucky Horseshoe Productions.

“I’m a big fan of Taylor’s incredible work, and I’m excited to team with him and my long-time collaborator, Lee, on THE ROAD,” said Shelton. “I know a thing or two about singing competitions and what it’s like to chase a music dream and live life on tour. I’m looking forward to discovering new talent and giving them this platform.”

“There is a revolution taking place in country music. Building a platform with Blake for the next leaders of that revolution is an incredibly exciting venture,” said Sheridan. “No more shiny floors and studio audiences. This is where the rubber meets the road – literally. Get in the van, go to the next town and win the crowd. Do it enough, and you become the next leader. Simple as that.”

“This project has been a true labor of love that Taylor, Blake, Lee and I have been talking about for some time now,” said Glasser. “I can’t thank CBS enough for supporting us on this journey to bring an incredible project to audiences everywhere.”

“Blake and I have been working together a long time and now joining forces with Taylor and David is literally the kind of team you dream about to bring something of this scale to country music fans,” said Metzger.

THE ROAD offers viewers a backstage pass into the gritty and unforgiving life of a touring artist. With exclusive access to the behind-the-scenes workings of the music industry, viewers will see what happens when some of the best up-and-coming performers pile into a tour bus and tackle a grueling schedule in pursuit of their dreams.

Brantley Gilbert and Ashley Cooke to Perform "Over When We're Sober" on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" Tomorrow, 10/25

With his seventh studio album Tattoos hailed as “a collection of carefully crafted songs reflecting different chapters of his life” by Forbes, Brantley Gilbert is set to perform his chart-climbing duet with Ashley Cooke on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” tomorrow, Oct. 25. Listen to Tattoos, available now via The Valory Music Co., HERE.

Co-written by Gilbert with Justin Wilson, Jelly Roll and Brock Berryhill, “Over When We're Sober” mixes can’t-stop romantic intoxication with a top shelf vocal blend, capturing the raw magnetism of a romantic buzz. Listen to the song HERE.

Tattoos features 10 songs all co-written and co-produced by the Georgia native with a trusted cast of long-time collaborators, lauded by Men’s Journal as “a one-of-a-kind for the Country genre,” while GRAMMY.com shares Gilbert “inks another portrait of small-town country life.”

The album mirrors Gilbert’s ink in both striking design and depth of meaning. Through flowing curves and jagged lines, shadow and light look back on a life of blue-collar pride and full-throttle rebellion – along with addictive love, abiding faith and blessings beyond what any of us deserve, as All Country News shares “Brantley Gilbert remains a force of nature in the country rock scene, marked by a raw honesty that fans have come to revere.”

In conjunction with the release of Tattoos, Gilbert brought together 118,000 people in downtown Nashville for Brantley Gilbert’s World’s Largest Album Release Party and recently wrapped his headlining Off The Rails Tour last Saturday in Macon, Georgia, with a portion of the proceeds from the final six shows going to Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

About Brantley Gilbert
As one of the godfathers of country’s modern rock-and-rap edge, multi-Platinum The Valory Music Co. trailblazer Brantley Gilbert knows life has a way of leaving a mark. With his seventh studio album, Tattoos, available now, the Georgia native chooses to embrace it – inspired by the idea that his tattoos tell a story, just like his songs. And just like his songs, he’ll never hide the truth they reveal. An era-defining artist forever bonded to his fans, Gilbert’s been mining the timeless values of hard-working dedication, high-octane thrills and humble faith since his 2009 debut, A Modern Day Prodigal Son, creating a chart-topping grit-and-grace fusion which helped set the stage for today’s genre-blending format. With his dedicated BG Nation behind him, the fiery performer-songwriter has racked up more than 8.3 BILLION career streams, boasting back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits including the RIAA 7x Platinum “Bottoms Up;” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide;” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do;” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen;” and the Platinum-certified “What Happens In A Small Town” with Lindsay Ell. His world-class pen helped create a watershed hit with Jason Aldean’s 4x Platinum country-rap game changer, “Dirt Road Anthem.” And possessing a can’t-fake-it quality of fierce independence, the ACM, CMA and AMA award winner has toured alongside everyone from Willie Nelson and Toby Keith to Kenny Chesney, Nickelback and more. Tattoos further cements his legacy – 10 cowritten, co-produced tracks with an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, as Gilbert’s diesel-powered smoke-and-soul vocal delivers another full-spectrum soundtrack to modern country life. Tracks like full-throttle “Off the Rails” and intoxicating chart-climbing single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke lead a set packed with guest appearances from Gary LeVox, Justin Moore, Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones. Miranda Lambert Brought “Wranglers” to NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Ahead of 9/13 ‘Postcards from Texas’

Clad in a denim-inspired Lauren Sussi outfit and the Lone Star-based Standard Hat Works hat that appears on the cover of her highly anticipated album Postcards from Texas, three-time GRAMMY Award-winner Miranda Lambert brought the heat to last night’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” treating viewers to a fiery performance of lead single “Wranglers.” The album, which arrives as her debut project for new label home Republic Records next Friday, Sept. 13, has already been named among the most anticipated albums of the year by VultureGRAMMY.comTexas Monthly and more. Pre-order / pre-save HERE and watch the performance Below.

Written by Audra Mae, Ryan Carpenter and Evan McKeever - based on a real woman-to-woman conversation between Mae and Lambert - the song arrived as the biggest-streaming debut of her 20+ year career and is now ascending the charts at country radio. In both a symbolic and physical return to Texas for the first studio album recorded by Lambert in her home state since her independent teenage debut, “Wranglers” was recorded at Austin’s legendary Arlyn Studios and produced by Lambert together with frequent collaborator Jon Randall, along with the rest of the forthcoming album, including liberated anthem “Dammit Randy,” humorous shuffle “Alimony” and free-spirited ballad “No Man’s Land”,” all also out now as early previews of the project.

“‘Wranglers’ is a classic tale of a woman taking her power back,” Lambert shared of the track upon its release. “I think we can all identify with the character in this song, because we have all had a time in our life where we needed to find our strength, and also get a little revenge on someone who did us wrong or hurt us. This offers such a cool, raging take on how something like this unravels; I am so proud to sing this song.”

“What results is a three-minute tale of the power and destruction of female rage,” declares Holler of the song. “With a foreboding drum roll, acoustic guitar and a sinister sounding whistle opening the track, Lambert’s signature Texas twang cuts through almost defiantly as Mae adds some chilling background vocals throughout. Fit with a strong and compelling chorus, ‘Wranglers’ showcases Lambert’s tried and true combination of country sensibility and high-octane, rock-infused instrumentation, that features sizzling guitar licks and a goosebump-inducing howl at the song’s close.”

The Postcards from Texas preview initially made its debut during her headlining set at Stagecoach Music Festival earlier this year, followed by the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history performing the song live during this year’s ACM Awards show, with Billboard praising the “rocking performance of the scorching woman-done-wrong’s revenge tale, electrifying the crowd.”

The song “showcases her at her defiantly full-tilt best…. an instant classic stadium-ready anthem that exuberantly celebrates liberation from a bad situation,” adds Cowboys & Indians, with the Tennessean declaring that the “Wranglers” chapter of her storied career “finds her in greater control of her artistic and creative direction than ever” and Cowgirl Magazine celebrating it as “a heartfelt return to her musical roots, reminiscent of her earliest albums… blending traditional elements with modern flair.”

Following this week’s late night television appearance, Lambert will return to screens next Wednesday, Sept. 11 to serve as a presenter on the all-genre MTV Video Music Awards. She also took fans behind the making of the album with TalkShopLive, available to watch on demand here, and appears on the current covers of both Us Weekly and Nashville Lifestyles, with the latter declaring, “Lambert may call Nashville home, and she may revisit and draw inspiration from her home state Texas, but perhaps it’s being at home within herself and the authenticity that comes with it that has cemented her country star status and all that’s yet to come.”

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down: The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. His 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no- holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” and the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” and “Good Die Young” plus the Gold-certified “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has 2.8 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” In 2023 alone, he sold more than 275,000 tickets, and appeared for a third time on POLLSTAR’s Top Worldwide Tours. Wetzel has played prominent festival sets this summer and opened for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour in Texas, while also headlining his own Damn Near Normal World Tour, currently underway. His new album, 9 Lives (Columbia), is available everywhere now as lead single “High Road” with Jessie Murph arrives as his debut Country radio single while also climbing both the Hot AC and Top 40 charts.

Whiskey Myers Celebrate 5 New RIAA Certifications During "Fox & Friends" All-American Summer Concert Series

While appearing live on the “Fox & Friends” All-American Summer Concert Series today, Aug. 9, genre-bending band Whiskey Myers added to their Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) hardware with a surprise presentation of five new Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certifications (denoted with asterisks below), bringing their total to nine RIAA-certified hits, a rare feat for an independent band:

  • “Stone” (2x Platinum)*

  • “Bury My Bones” (Platinum)*

  • “Ballad of a Southern Man” (Platinum)

  • “Broken Window Serenade” (Platinum)

  • Firewater (Gold)

  • “Reckoning” (Gold)*

  • “Bar, Guitar and a Honky Tonk Crowd” (Gold)*

  • “Lonely East Texas Nights” (Gold)*

  • “Virginia” (Gold)

The chart-topping band performed two of those Platinum-certified songs, “Bury My Bones” and “Broken Window Serenade,” as well as fan-favorite “Die Rockin'” plus “John Wayne” and “Feets” off their latest album, Tornillo, lauded by Forbes as “difficult to categorize or pigeonhole because it’s uniquely their own... constantly pushing the creative envelope,” with Saving Country Music declaring the album to be “unapologetic and attitudinal,” noting, “Tonrillo brings an energy, drive, pluck, and abandon most of modern music in this repressed era has vacated due to fear of reprisal. Rock music needs saving too, and Whiskey Myers is here to pick up the slack."

Whiskey Myers' appearance comes as the band brings their high-octane live show celebrated by Holler as a “six-piece concoction of southern rock, blue-collar country and rock 'n' roll... solidifying Whiskey Myers' place among the leading jam bands of the 21st century” to Atlantic City, N.J. tonight, Aug. 9; Virginia Beach, Va. (with Hank Williams, Jr.) tomorrow, Aug. 10; and Selbyville, Del. on Sunday, Aug. 11 as their headlining run continues throughout the U.S. until November. Tickets to all dates are on sale now via WhiskeyMyers.com.

Ashley McBryde Performs on ABC's "Good Morning America" + "GMA3"

GRAMMY award winner Ashley McBryde performed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning, August 7, bringing her No Depression-dubbed “soaring anthem of self-determination” and current single “The Devil I Know” to audiences nationwide. Watch her interview and performance HERE.

Chatting about the cover art for her album The Devil I Know, which features five representations of the different facets of McBryde’s personality, she shared with Michael Strahan, “The whole process of making this record was that we all have different aspects of ourselves, some that we love to embrace, some that we do not love to embrace. So this whole process has been about not just coming to terms with it, but learning how to fall in love with all those aspects.”

The Arkansas native also joined “GMA3: What You Need To Know” with album closer “6th of October,” a song written by McBryde with Blue Foley and CJ Field after the passing of one of her longtime collaborators, Randall Clay, with Field bringing in a song he’d started with Clay. The track has since become a celebration of self-compassion among her fans, with Billboard sharing “acceptance and self-assuredness flows particularly on album closer ‘6th of October,’” while Arkansas Democrat-Gazette calls it “bittersweet, John Prine-ish.” Watch her interview and performance HERE.

Named one of the best country albums of the year by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Slate, Paste, Holler and more, the cover art for The Devil I Know represents different parts of McBryde’s personality: Joan of Arkansas, the Golden Gal, Girl in Red, Blackout Betty and Ashley Damn McBryde. To celebrate each one, McBryde compiled playlists of her songs from each persona, with the full collection titled Meet the Family.

McBryde recently wrapped The Devil I Know Tour Presented by Ariat and will perform headlining dates across the U.S. through the summer before joining Cody Johnson on The Leather Tour this fall. For additional dates and tickets, visit AshleyMcBryde.com.

“The Art of Music: Sheryl Crow with Jason Isbell” Debuts on Public Television

Nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow is the first artist featured in the new Public Television series The Art of Music premiering this month. Presented by United MileagePlus® Cards from Chase and filmed in front of a live audience earlier this year at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Crow is interviewed by her friend and fellow GRAMMY Award-winning artist Jason Isbell.

As part of this unique series, Isbell led a conversation with Crow about her musical journey, sharing insights into their creative processes. The discussion intertwined some of Crow’s iconic songs which the duo performed together, delivering a singular musical experience.

The Art of Music was created to give viewers a rare look inside the artists’ lives and their creative practice. In this debut episode, Crow shares stories about her songs and significant moments in her career. Fans will also see performances of fan favorite tracks accompanied by Isbell including “Everyday Is A Winding Road,” “Redemption Day,” “My Favorite Mistake,” “Strong Enough” and “If It Makes You Happy” as well as “Evolution” the title track of her recent 11th studio album, Evolution.

“Art is what sustains us through all of our history. It is what documents who we are at any given moment,” shares Crow. “For me, art is the great hope.”

“The Met’s musical instrument collection celebrates music from across time and across culture, and we like to think of instruments as art used to create art,” said Jayson Dobney, the Frederick P. Rose Curator in Charge of the Department of Musical Instruments at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. “Among its treasures is the world's oldest piano from Florence, crafted in 1720, alongside exquisite violins by Antonio Stradivari and the Amati family. We also house magnificent drums from Africa and ancient Chinese instruments, as well as a significant collection of iconic American guitars. SEC NETWORK REFRESHES SEC NATION THEME SONG AND OPENING SEQUENCE WITH COUNTRY MUSIC STAR BROOKE EDEN

As SEC Network celebrates its 10th anniversary and a new era for the Southeastern Conference with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas, SECN has tapped country music star Brooke Eden to revamp the theme song and opening sequence for SEC Nation, the network’s weekly, traveling pre-game show.

SEC Nation debuted on August 28, 2014, with a customized version of Robert Randolph and The Family Band’s “Take The Party” as its opening theme song. A decade ago, Randolph worked closely with network producers to develop custom lyrics for “Party Wherever We Go” – an SEC-centric version that complemented the show’s goal of bringing the sights and sounds of a SEC football tailgate to viewers every Saturday. 10 years later, Eden put her twist on the tune with a new sound and original lyrics to include the Sooners and Longhorns.

“It’s such a privilege to get the opportunity to put my mark on the SEC Nation theme song and opening sequence,” says Brooke. “I’m so grateful for the chance to engage with fans and celebrate the passion of college football through a song that means so much to each of us. I grew up right here in the SEC; so, these games make me feel at home even when I’m on the road.”

SEC Network viewers will hear the renewed song in full the night before the first SEC Nation of the 2024 season, when Eden releases the track across all streaming and music platforms at midnight on Friday, Aug. 30. The theme song and opening tease will premiere at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 31, when the show travels to Gainesville, Fla. to showcase the Florida Gators hosting in-state rival Miami Hurricanes.

SEC Nation returns to college football tailgates, stadiums and sidelines this fall, and will regularly follow the site of the 3:30 p.m. SEC on ABC showdown. Laura Rutledge will host the show for her eighth season, her ninth on the show overall, joined by Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper. A “Making Of” feature of Eden’s spin on “Party Wherever We Go” will air during SEC Now on ESPN2 and SEC Network on Wednesday, July 17, at 8 p.m. ET.

Kelly Clarkson: Kenny Chesney Lands 2nd #1, 54,638 at Soldier Field

When Kenny Chesney gets on a roll, it seems like nothing slows down the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee. Having already extended his record on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart with “Take Her Home,” his 33rd No. 1, Mediabase bookends the achievement with a No. 1 on their chart as well.

“The thing about songs that are pieces of people’s lives,” Chesney says, “is almost everyone can see themselves in there. To me, I’m singing the reality people are living, and trying to show them how sweet life can be if you really look. I love that this song has connected so deeply.”

The man the Wall Street Journal deemed “The King of the Road” and the LA Times hailed as “The People’s Superstar” has been connecting on an even deeper level on the road. Having smashed his previous sales and attendance records at almost every stadium this summer, Chesney’s show at Chicago’s Soldier Field saw almost 2,000 more people fill their historic stadium than his prior best, a fact not lost on the life-affirming powerhouse.

“It’s been the most amazing summer,” Chesney allows. “No Shoes Nation has always been this passionate, insane country without borders with people who come together, raise our pirate flag and enjoy life in ways that inspire me. I didn’t know you could have some of the responses we’ve had on this tour, and just when you think it can’t get any louder or more heartfelt, Chicago happens.”

Not only was Chicago bringing their best singing voices, the Windy City became the site of another first. Poncho, Chesney’s golden doodle, made him onstage debut, and as the doggy daddy noted, “He might like the stage almost as much as I do!”

Having sold out Lincoln Financial Field in March, adding tickets and selling those out, too, along with Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium and three straight nights at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium, Chesney has seen his already strong stadium numbers grow in unthinkable ways. Beyond a three day-advance-warning to come early at Northern Ohio’s Blossom Music Center, the hunger for his music continues growing 15 years after becoming the only country artist on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years.

To see that joy and freewheeling fun up close, tune into “The Kelly Clarkson Show” today to watch the small-town kids talk work ethic, high-intensity live shows, trying to kick back, college math, an honorary doctorate and the many flavors of Blue Chair Bay® Rum. Talk only, no music, the lead guest appearance brings out the best in both performers.

“Kelly Clarkson is big fun,” Chesney says. “Two long segments with her whip by, and all you’ve done is laugh! Rather than asking the usual questions, she wants to know where the songs come from and why, and maybe a little college level math.”

Presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour runs throughout the summer.

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville ACM Awards Wins & Recap - Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll & Jason Aldean

Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Jason Aldean proved the stars were shining bright at the 2024 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards airing live on Amazon from The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX, world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. The aforementioned BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville artists would end the night capturing four awards and delivering three of the most memorable and breakout moments on the show.

Lainey Wilson kicked off the ACMs with her rendition of "God Blessed Texas" transitioning it into the broadcast debut performance of her latest single "Hang Tight Honey", delivering an electrifying performance that set the tone for "Country Music's Party of the Year." By the close of the broadcast, Lainey would earn the distinction of becoming the most awarded female artist of the night, securing the top honor as Entertainer of the Year. She also captured awards for Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year for "Save Me" Jelly Roll with Lainey Wilson.

In her Entertainer of the Year Acceptance speech Lainey shared, "These past few years for us has been a complete whirlwind. I have been in Nashville for 13 years doing this. First of all, I want to say thank you so much, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you to my team who fights for me every single day, who works so hard. My band - they show up. WME for booking me, all the time, everywhere. Y'all I remember being a little girl and I would climb out on the top of our roof. I'd open my window and climb out. I'd count all the stars and I'd look up and see the planes flying over my little town of 200 people. I'd dream about being up there in one of those planes and this year it is so crazy. We have already toured the UK, Europe & Australia and we're about to start our American leg. The funny thing is that I still feel like that little girl.I really do. I feel like I still climb out on the roof and I look at the stars, except I feel like I'm a little more eye level with them now. Everybody in this category has loved on me and believed in me, took me out on the road, sang songs with me, wrote with me, encouraged me every step of the way and I love y'all for that. I have the best fans in the world. Thank you so much. God bless y'all."

Jelly Roll, a first time nominee, would capture his first ACM Award for Music Event of the Year for "Save Me" with Lainey Wilson.  Giving the audience a first look at the his new music, Jelly Roll premiered an unreleased, fiery song, "Liar" on the broadcast.

In his acceptance speech, Jelly Roll stated, "I'm gonna try not to get emotional, but no pun intended, seriously, this song saved me. I was in a dark place. I wrote it from my soul. I knew people would connect with it. One year ago today, Lainey Wilson and I stood on this stage and debuted it. This song is a triple-platinum record. I wrote it with a high school friend. We never thought we'd be songwriters. I never thought I'd be standing here. I thought I would die or go to jail and I'm standing here as an ACM Award winner. You hear what I am talking about Texas! Let's go baby!"

ason Aldean, the ACM Artist of the Decade, took to the stage at The Star to honor the trailblazing and legendary Toby Keith who passed in February 2024. The "wonderfully touching" (Daily Wire) tribute "stole the show Thursday...with a moving rendition of Keith's hit 'Should've Been a Cowboy'" (Tennessean). AMERICAN IDOL’S TOP 5 RELEASE ORIGINAL SONGS AVAILABLE NOW VIA 19 RECORDINGS/BMG

Ahead of Sunday’s finale (5/21), American Idol’s Top 5 finalists today release their original songs via 19 Recordings/BMG Nashville. The iconic, star-maker competition series’ Season 22 finalists include fan-favorite standouts Jack Blocker, Abi Carter, Triston Harper, Will Moseley and Emmy Russell.

Jack Blocker

“All of Yours (To Give All of Mine)” It may first read as lighthearted and breezy, but there’s an unadulterated heft to American Idol Season 22 finalist Jack Blocker’s new singalong-style single “All of Yours (To Give All of Mine).” A tribute to his wife Georgia, who stuck by his side through life’s trying times, the effortlessly tuneful, self-penned song is a folk-tinged love story of the highest order: a toast to that sort of deep, truthful love only time and tribulation reveals.

Hailing from Indio, California, 21-year-old Abi Carter has a haunting voice and knack for songwriting. A born performer, Carter has wowed America with her theatrical and emotional performances week after week. On the anthemic “This Isn’t Over,” Carter’s breakout song, she tells a story about personal growth and becoming a stronger person, one who wishes to reach back in time and tell her younger self “This Isn’t Over.”

Listen closely as he sings because there’s an unbridled depth and time-honored maturity ingrained in the voice of 15-year-old American Idol Season 22's Triston Harper. It’s on full display on The Top 5 finisher's self-penned new single “H.O.P.E,” a plaintive blues-soaked lament. “Hope stands for hold on, pain ends/where’s the joy when you need it?” Harper croons, and you can feel the equal-parts pain and deep-set understanding emanating from the depths of his soul.

A truth-telling, husky-voiced troubadour, American Idol Season 22 finalist Will Moseley offers up a reflective new single “Good Book Bad” - a spirited and heartfelt tale of redemption. “Boy you need the good book bad/All your running around gotta slow down a little/ You’re living just a little too fast/You gotta meet the man somewhere in the middle,” he sings with definitive urgency. Like the most memorably resonant country songs, this essential release is concocted with the perfect recipe: honesty, forthrightness and supreme melody.

Descending from the legendary country music icon, the one and only, Loretta Lynn, it has been a journey for Emmy Russell to find her own sound and begin her own, distinctive musical journey. Finding joy and release in songwriting, Emmy began making the songwriting rounds around Nashville, honing her craft and eventually landing a publishing deal with Liz Rose Music. This past year, her talent led her to the American Idol stage where she captured America's hearts with her authentic, raw and endearing performances. Now, the country artist is poised to release her anthemic, energetic, cathartic heartbreak song, "Redemption.” The song came out of a painful breakup leading to Emmy finally realizing her worth and learning how to not place all her value in someone else's hands.

ACM New Duo of the Year Tigirlily Gold Makes Debut ACM Performance w/ “I Tried A Ring On”

When Tigirlily Gold released their current single “I Tried A Ring On” on January 5, the song kickstarted what has become a breakthrough year for the sister duo from North Dakota. Serving as the follow up to their top 40 single “Shoot Tequila,” “I Tried A Ring On” has catapulted the girls further into the mainstream, as the sisters were named 2024 CMT Next Women of Country earlier this year.

Amid their budding popularity, Tigirlily Gold – comprised of sisters Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh – was crowned the ACM New Duo of the Year during their ACM Awards Kick Off performance on Tuesday, May 14; their first major award show win.

To mark the occasion, they also made their award show debut performance with “I Tried A Ring On,” live during the 59th ACM Awards on Amazon Prime Video, which Vulture called “a stellar performance,” while Billboard noted it highlighted “their confidence and tight-knit performance ability on one of country music’s biggest nights.”

“It is such an honor to have been named ACM New Duo/Group of the Year,” Kendra shared. “We have been a band since we were kids, and we couldn’t feel more grateful for the year we have had. Getting to perform on the main show…it’s just a dream come true.”

Krista added, “We were always taught that if you work hard, are kind to people, and you never quit…good things will come. We could not be more excited to be recognized in this way.”

The Billboard-dubbed “harmonically savvy sibling duo” recently teamed with producers Shane McAnally, Pete Good and Alex Kline to create their debut album Blonde, due July 26, 2024. In addition to “Leroy,” released last Friday, the debut will feature “I Tried a Ring On,” along with the rowdy viral sensation “Shoot Tequila.” Filled with deeply personal tracks and poignant tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment, the pair says their goal was to bring girl group energy back to country music.

About Tigirlily Gold:
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home-state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how entertaining is in their blood. After releasing their original song “Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists like Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde. Now, the powerhouse duo has embarked on a new musical chapter with their EP, Blonde –a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment. Their debut single at country radio, “Shoot Tequila,” reached the Top 40 and found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms. Their much anticipated follow up single “I Tried A Ring On” is at Country radio now. After making their Grand Ole Opry debut and performing to a national audience on the “TODAY Show,” Tigirlily Gold is ready to bring girl group energy back to country.

Songwriter. Activist. Rock star. Woman. Champion. Mother. Nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow is many things, but at the core, she remains a creative spirit channeling her talents into music that lifts people up, brings them together, and speaks to the truths on the horizon. Crow’s is a career beyond dreams, with songs that defined the third wave of feminism, a rockist’s ability to sweep the pop charts without losing any edge and enough wide-open Midwestern joy to captivate the world. Her first nine studio albums have sold 35 million copies worldwide; seven charted in the Top 10, and five were certified for Multi-Platinum sales. 2023 saw another milestone accolade for Crow, as she has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. Sheryl Crow's 11th studio album Evolution is available now.
