The Toxhards Bring The Chaos East & Expand The Get Destructive Tour

Theatrical alt-rock oddities, The Toxhards, have announced the expansion of their Get Destructive Tour, an 19-date headline run that pushes their signature blend of genre-bending existential doombops and gloriously unhinged chaos to even wilder heights. Fans can purchase tickets on Friday HERE.

Armed with songs about hog gods, suburbia-induced panic, and love stories that fray at the edges, The Toxhards are treating the Get Destructive Tour like a nineteen-stop live wire experiment in how far they can push a rock show before it morphs into a full-blown cathartic meltdown with a mosh pit. Each night promises a slightly different strain of chaos, where the band will be swapping instruments, derailing songs into choreographed (and unchoreographed) bits, and crowd interaction that blurs the line between show and shared hallucination.

With a fanbase that shows up ready to contribute to the chaos, The Toxhards couldn't be more fired up about the additional dates:

"After booking our short spring run of shows, we said to The Concert Gods “Should we take a break?” And they answered back “No more shows.” Turns out they actually said “No, MORE shows!”

This will be the first summer run of our career, and our first time playing a vast majority of these cities. Can’t wait to bring our most ambitious and surprising tour yet to the east coast!"

What started as a casual hobby project among college friends has since grown into one of alternative rock's most distinctive cult followings. The Toxhards built their audience in the modern way, a breakout TikTok moment behind their single, "How Lucky Am I?" that snowballed into a string of increasingly unhinged fan favorites. First, "Doombop", a genre-blending blast of existential noise that cemented the band's reputation for delightful chaos. Then, "Ængus, The Prize-Winning Hog", a song about a hog deity that somehow racked up over 7 million views across social media and even caught the attention of Hopeless Records, who signed the band in 2023.

Last year saw the release of their debut full-length concept album, "Your Neighborhood", a record that follows a young man's spiral through heartbreak, grief, isolation, and a brush with death that forces an uncomfortable reckoning. Earning widespread praise from Knotfest and The Needle Drop for the band's songwriting ambition, melodic instincts, and insane live presence, "Your Neighborhood" made it clear that The Toxhards are a band with something for everyone and everything for someone.

Stay tuned for more news from The Toxhards soon.

Dominum Unveil New Single + Music Video "The Circus is in Town"

DOMINUM are back. The rising stars of modern metal offer the first taste of their upcoming album Night Is Calling, set for release on July 3 via Napalm Records. "The Circus is in Town" serves as both the lead single and the album opener, lifting the curtain on the thrilling and mad world of Dr. Dead's band's third offering.

Following their previous album The Dead Don't Die (2024), which stormed into the Top 10 of the German charts, "The Circus is in Town" delivers once again with infectious riffs and catchy choruses. DOMINUM capture this gripping atmosphere in a spectacular music video — no one can escape this dark circus!

Dr. Dead comments on "The Circus is in Town":
"The Circus is in Town. There's no point in looking away. We're coming — city by city. Unstoppable. Real people. Real monsters. Real nights. You're part of it. Join us. Night Is Calling."

Watch the official music video for "The Circus is in Town" Below:

DOMINUM, led by mastermind and singer Felix Heldt — better known as Dr. Dead — open the next chapter of their dark, theatrical universe with their new full-length Night Is Calling. With their bombastic sound and outstanding stage presence, the band continues its rapid ascent on the international metal scene, without losing sight of its strengths: theatrical, melodic, and uncompromising modern metal — driven by the dark charisma of Dr. Dead and his zombies. One thing is certain: The Living Dead Squad continues to grow.

Night Is Calling is now available for pre-order, with selected formats including the bonus album Live at Wacken 2025.

Dr. Dead on Night is Calling:
"They grow up so fast." – Ugh. It makes me sick.

"And now I feel it myself: My zombies have grown up. Our creation… has grown up too. But unlike the pitiful rest, we don't mourn our childhood. No. We revel in who we are. Being a child, being an adult — what does that even mean? — the world lies at our feet, and we can do whatever we damn well please. Believe me from firsthand experience: an army of zombies makes everything a hell of a lot easier… and way more fun with every bit of trouble getting the punch it deserves. We have the power to reshape our world. And oh, we do.

'Night is Calling' — This is our outlet.
Stronger melodies, heavier riffs, sharper, unflinching lyrics — honesty as our deadliest weapon. We are who we are. And you… you're in this whether you like it or not. The undead are on the march, more relentless than ever. Join us – immediately, willingly… or a little later when we come to your neighborhood. Either way… we’ll be seeing you. —Dr. Dead"

Joan As Police Woman announces 'Real Life Evolution' album, releases intimate versions of 'Flushed Chest' and 'The Ride'

Renowned NYC artist Joan As Police Woman announces her new album “Real Life Evolution”, out June 12 via UK independent Reveal Records -- on CD, Limited Edition exclusive red marble vinyl and digitally. Exactly 20 years since releasing her much-loved debut album "Real Life", she has re-recorded and imagined the album in full with guests including Iggy Pop and Krystle Warren.

Joan Wasser, known professionally as Joan As Police Woman since 2004, is a critically acclaimed musician and producer, dubbed “the coolest woman in pop” (The Times) and “one of the 21st century’s best musicians” (The Economist). As a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, her music defies easy categorization, crafting her own sound that blends various genres. She has released ten albums of original material, two cover albums, and an anthology.

Twenty years in the making, this record was developed through countless nights on stage. These new arrangements are brought to life by the musical brilliance of the players who helped define their sound. In order of appearance, it features contributions by Will Graefe, Jeremy Gustin, Tony Scherr, Parker Kindred, Danny Blume, Krystle Warren, Oren Bloedow, Thomas Bartlett and Iggy Pop.

Now Joan As Police Woman is releasing 'Real Life Evolution' versions of two of the tracks from this album -- 'Flushed Chest', which was recorded at Hayyam Studios in Istanbul by Ceylan Akcar and Sinan Sakizli, and 'The Ride' was recorded at The Owl Music Parlor in Brooklyn by Adam Sachs.

'Flushed Chest (Real Life Evolution version)' is the latest video offering from 'The Real Life Anniversary Sessions', accompanied by Will Graefe and Jeremy Gustinand filmed by Ehud Lazin, following her powerful, stripped-down video performance of 'Anyone'.

"I wrote 'Flushed Chest' shortly after I read “Time’s Arrow” by Martin Amis. It’s the story of a life, Jeff’s life, told in backwards chronological order. I wrote this one when I was in a period of intense listening to The Wailers; Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh and Bob Marley, one of the greatest bands of all time. This song works well with the trio so we didn’t stray far from the original recording. Singing the 3-part harmonies with Will and Jeremy is a delight." says Joan Wasser.

"'Real Life Evolution' is ten reimagined versions of every song from the original 'Real Life' album. Some transformations are subtle. Others are seismic. All of them were made with an entirely new cast of collaborators.”

Joan As Police Woman is a sought-after collaborator who has recorded and/ or performed with hundreds of artists, including Afrobeat legend Tony Allen, Lou Reed, Anohni & The Johnsons, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rufus Wainwright, John Cale, David Byrne, Dave Okumu, Chris Dowd, Lau, Scissor Sisters, Sparklehorse, Beck, Laurie Anderson, Lloyd Cole, Afel Bocoum, Dave Gahan, Tanya Donelly, David Sylvian, Steve Jansen and Damon Albarn (who duetted with Joan on her song 'Get My Bearings' and invited her to feature on the Gorillaz album 'Song Machine'). She also a member of Iggy Pop's touring band (on keys and vocals).

“Music has saved my life. I am a devotee. It’s not something I can even choose or not choose, it’s just what it is. The album Real Life holds the key to my whole life. At the time I felt compelled to get it all into one record because I couldn’t imagine a world where I’d make another," says Joan Wasser.

"Now, twenty years later (and twelve albums into my career), the dream continues to unfold. I still live to play music. The shared experience of a concert is a constant reminder of our common humanity. 'Real Life; was the spark that lit my calling as a solo artist and I’m truly excited to revisit all the songs that mean so much to me and lovers of 'Real Life'.”

As of March 31, 'Flushed Chest' and 'The Ride' are available digitally everywhere. The 'Real Life Evolution' album is out on June 12th on vinyl, CD and digitally. It can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp.

With her forthcoming Real Life 20th Anniversary Tour, Joan brings exclusive trio shows, performing the 'Real Life' album in full, along with key singles from across her catalogue, fan favourites, deep cuts, reworked covers and a few surprises!   She next performs a small handful of shows in New York City at Joe's Pub.  All tickets can be ordered at www.joanaspolicewoman.com/tour or https://linktr.ee/japw.

Oh Hiroshima Announce "And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter" Album + Share "Broken Sunlight"

Swedish post-rock duo Oh Hiroshima return with their latest album And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter, arriving June 5 via Pelagic Records. Once again emerging from Scandinavia's rich atmospheric landscape, the record sharpens their signature balance of restraint and release, where shimmering guitars and slow-building intensity rise into cathartic peaks. Rooted in existential reflection and modern disillusionment, And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter navigates the space between despair and meaning with a quiet defiance. Alongside the announcement, the band unveil first single "Broken Sunlight," offering an initial glimpse into the album's immersive, emotionally resonant world.

Watch the video for "Broken Sunlight" Below.

Pre-order And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter HERE.

The band comments on the new single, "With 'Broken Sunlight,' we wanted something that hits you directly, with rhythm and melody tightly interwoven. It's about holding onto something fragile, a shard of hope in a reality that feels increasingly fractured."

Oh Hiroshima have built a reputation for transforming introspection into vast, cinematic sound. The Swedish band has spent the better part of the last decade refining a musical language that balances fragility with overwhelming emotional force. Their music exists in the space where atmosphere, melody and gradual intensity converge, where hushed textures evolve patiently into towering waves of sound. With each release, the group has deepened their identity as one of the genre’s most evocative and emotionally resonant voices.

And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter continues Oh Hiroshima's pursuit to refine the balance between vulnerability and power. At the core of their sound lies a delicate interplay between restraint and release. Their compositions carefully cultivate tension, letting each layer unfold organically: chiming guitars, distant reverberations, and minimal rhythmic pulses that feel suspended in air, all contrast against the heavily drenched power they can unleash. Whether the passage be titanic or still, Oh Hiroshima establish a sense of openness and emotional ambiguity, allowing listeners to settle into the sonic landscape as the music works its slow ascent.

Commenting on the album, the band states, "The album title And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter is taken from T. S. Eliot's epic poem 'The Waste Land.' For this album, the dead tree works as a metaphor for ways of living that drain the world of meaning and offer no real way of navigating the hardships of life. We are living in a time when it has become harder and harder to imagine a bright future. This leaves many of us with a deep sense of hopelessness that easily breeds cynicism and apathy. In that state it becomes easy to shut the world out and give up any attempts at meaningful interaction with the world around us. A destructive cycle follows, as this leaves us with no way of sheltering ourselves from our initial despair at the state of things. But these songs also aim to paint something meaningful and hopeful. A form of idealization not rooted in naivety but in realism, because we need ideals to gather enough strength to leave the shelter less dead trees of our lives behind."

Oh Hiroshima consistently demonstrate a growing confidence in exploring the edges of their sound. Backed by special guests, a whole array of instrumentation and a growing pallet for wider experimentation, And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter evokes Oh Hiroshima's unique emotional landscape, each composition a relentlessly captivating journey that inspires reflection and release. Every motif, choice and touch contribute to the shifting terrains that gradually unfold into luminous intensity. By blending harmonics, immersive production and a deeply intuitive sense of pacing, Oh Hiroshima have crafted an album that is woven with intimacy and expansively felt.

"We tracked the foundation of the record (drums, bass and electric guitars) at Studio Gröndahl with Karl Daniel Lidén (Swarm of the Sun), who has worked with many really good bands before, he took great care in the drum setup and recording, and we're especially happy with how that turned out, adds vocalist Jakob Hemström. The rest of the album was recorded in Örebro by me and my brother, with a little help from some friends of the band. Production-wise this is our most ambitious record by far because of the number of instruments and musicians that contributed. Ten additional musicians were involved this time around. Magnus Lindberg mixed and mastered the album. It's the third time in a row. He's great to work with, has a great résumé, and always delivers quality work."

PRESIDENT said it best, telling Revolver in a cover feature that "the music industry has elements of fast fashion to it these days. Things just come and go. Everything's really quick. Everyone's shouting for attention and there's just so much noise, and it just becomes a fucking conveyor belt. [We] wanted to step back and not be a part of that. But if people are interested, and they want to enter into this world, we'll grab them with open arms."

PRESIDENT's debut EP, King of Terrors, was released in fall 2025. Listen here.

ABOUT GUILT TRIP:
Historically, Manchester, UK breeds a certain toughness. As a pillar of the 19th century Industrial Revolution in Northern England, factories and warehouses line much of the city's rain-baptized topography. A hardworking lot who shoot straight without apology, its denizens traditionally take an incredible amount of pride in where they come from. Embodying the grit and gusto of Manchester, Guilt Trip bring a blast of homegrown intensity to their hybrid of hardcore and metal. The five piece slides striking melodies in between throat-slitting thrashy riffs and earth-splitting breakdowns.

Amassing tens of millions of streams and playing to packed crowds, they’re primed to amplify this hometown energy and pride on a global scale with a series of 2025 singles and their forthcoming debut LP for Roadrunner Records. More information about the new album will be released in due course.

Guilt Trip started to forge a seething signature style without comparison back in 2015. Jay and Jak cemented a lifelong bond as best friends at four-years-old when they met at reception in school. Over the years, the duo introduced one another to various favorite bands. Eventually, they welcomed fellow Manchester scene friends Tom, Sam, and Lily to the fold. To get to this point, the collective grinded the old-fashioned way one gig at a time, bulldozing their way out of sweaty basements and onto cramped club stages. They dropped the Unrelenting Force EP during 2016 followed by their 2019 full-length debut, River of Lies. The latter spawned "Thin Ice," which reeled in 7.1 million Spotify streams and counting. 2023's Severance marked a turning point. It boasted popular collaborations with LANDMVRKS and Malevolence, while KERRANG! hailed their "unique brand of hardcore that sees them delve into elements of thrash, old-school hardcore and fist-pumping metal." Beyond sharing the stage with everyone from Sylosis to While She Sleeps, they lit up festivals, including Download, Hellfest, and more. Attracting Roadrunner Records to their corner, the musicians decamped to StudioOWZ in Clarbeston, Wales with producer and engineer Adam "Nolly" Getgood [Periphery] during early 2025.

KREATOR RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'LOYAL TO THE GRAVE'

Following the electrifying kickoff of their extensive European tour, metal legends KREATOR are keeping the momentum alive with the release of a brand-new music video for 'Loyal To The Grave,' the powerful closing track of their latest studio album, Krushers Of The World.

Showcasing a different side of the band’s signature intensity, 'Loyal To The Grave' stands out as one of the album’s most memorable moments. Driven by a highly melodic approach and elevated by a soaring, anthemic chorus, the track captures both the aggression and emotional depth that have defined KREATOR’s enduring legacy. The accompanying video visually amplifies this spirit, blending striking performance footage with cinematic storytelling that underscores themes of loyalty, unity, and resilience.

Mille Petrozza commented:
The video was inspired by the Movie “ The Crow” this time. I hope you enjoy our little journey into obscurity as much as we do.”

Currently tearing through Europe alongside Exodus, Carcass, and Nails, KREATOR have been delivering spectacular shows to fans across the continent. The tour continues through the end of April, cementing the band’s reputation as one of the most formidable live acts in metal.

Looking ahead, KREATOR will take their explosive live show across the Atlantic this May, joining forces with Carcass and Cold Steel for a highly anticipated U.S. tour. With no signs of slowing down, 2026 is shaping up to be another landmark year for the band.

ABOUT KREATOR:

When KREATOR’s earliest incarnation formed under the influence of Kiss and Judas Priest in the early 80’s none of the above was thinkable. For young adults, Essen, back then a 600k plus city in the Ruhr area, was a grim place. Unemployment rates were surging, houses had been blackened by smoke from factories and coal mines, for some alcohol and drug abuse were the only escape route from this dismal, post-industrialized backdrop.

Whereas Birmingham spawned Black Sabbath and undoubtedly became the legitimate birthplace of heavy metal, the bands associated with the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal like Iron Maiden, Venom, Saxon pushed the genre with a street-fighting attitude, US artists such as Metallica, Exodus, Slayer, and Swedes Bathory intensified the style even more, and altogether concocted a dangerous brew KREATOR poured down their throats in gallons. For today’s remaining founding members Mille and drummer Jürgen “Ventor” Reil, music was the way out from these dire surroundings, and provided an outlet for the frustration and contempt boiling in their guts. And KREATOR went all in. Naive, chaotic yet utterly determined.

And they left their own mark on heavy metal history, radicalizing thrash and inspiring legions of musicians including Arch Enemy, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth and Ghost, with Papa Emeritus joining a TV performance of ‘Satan Is Real’ in 2017.

Their newest studio album, Krushers Of The World, shows a band that has lost none of its bite kicking off with the rabid aggression of ‘Seven Serpents’. It also tackles Petrozza’s love for horror flicks by paying tribute to Dario Argento’s Suspiria in ‘Tränenpalast’ with extreme metal vocal coach Britta Görtz (Hiraes) adding her own vicious tone over dark yet catchy melodies. And of course, you shall have hefty doses of pure, thrashing aggression as well! ‘Barbarian’, ‘Deathscream’ or ‘Psychotic Imperator’ deliver your fix of merciless riffs, majestic leads by Sami Yli-Sirniö and some of Ventor’s fastest parts ever. Are you looking for powerful mid-tempo sections allowing bassist Frédéric Leclercq to shine? Then the monumental groove of the title track and stunning chorus of ‘Satanic Anarchy’ will have you covered. Rounded off by a triumphant and – no pun intended – krushing production courtesy of Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, who previously worked with the group on Phantom Antichrist (2012) and Gods Of Violence (2017), KREATOR return in perfect shape.

A novelty to Krushers Of The World is immediately obvious when staring at its cover. With Zbigniew Bielak, renowned for his work for Ghost, art and design offer an interesting twist to KREATOR’s history. Transforming classic visual trademarks dedicated fans will recognise from Coma Of Souls (1990), Out of the Dark... into the Light (1988) and Pleasure To Kill (the font!) into a highly detailed tapestry garnered with occult symbolism, Bielak crafted an outstanding piece paying homage to a band he loves since his teenager days yet with a daring and unique flair. The cover of Krushers Of The World rewards everyone willing to analyze the grandiose sleeve design.

In essence, Krushers Of The World is of course not a throwback to KREATOR’s past, it is furious, massive sounding and creative in its own right, gifted with a songwriting quality honed over years. It displays a band which earned its spot among the giants of the genre, and developed its youthful anger further into a professional, internationally successful, nonetheless intimidating creature. Krushers Of The World underlines the fact that fueled by the reflective look at their own legacy sparked by 2025’s Hate & Hope movie, KREATOR nowadays appear more mindful of their early days while simultaneously progressing uncompromisingly, unstoppable in their search for new realms to conquer and new worlds to krush.

Eva Under Fire Announce New Album "Villainous" + Share Video for Title Track ( Feat. Maria Brink)

Listening to EVA UNDER FIRE is quite literally hard rock therapy, turning scars and demons into anthems of inner strength. As a licensed therapist and singer-songwriter, Amanda Lyberg blends emotional insight with powerful songwriting, delivering lyrics and performances that connect deeply and hit listeners right in the feels.

The Detroit quintet announces the July 10 release of its new album VILLAINOUS via Better Noise Music. It follows their 2022-released debut,Love, Drugs & Misery. Pre-order it here

To herald the news, Eva Under Fire have also shared the video for the title track and first radio single, both of which feature In This Moment's Maria Brink

Listen to the song here. Watch the video below:

The track is laced with crunchy industrial elements that defined late '90s and early '00s-era rock, but Eva Under Fire add a modern punch with the dual-female vocal interplay between Lyberg and Brink.

"They thought I would always be compliant, but they pushed me too far," declares a defiant Lyberg about the song's deeper meaning. "I make my own rules now. Standing up for myself, owning my truth leaves me looking like a villain to those I have left behind."

Regarding the collaboration with Brink, Lyberg enthuses, "I've been a Maria Brink fan for years so this is a full-circle moment! Her vocal on this track gives it the energy it needed. I honestly can't think of a better feature given the song's message. Two fierce women's voices on a hard rock song about taking your power back? A match made in villainy for sure."

Brink weighs in, as well, saying, "I am excited to be a part of the new Eva Under Fire track 'Villainous.' When I first heard the song and saw the video, I knew right away I wanted to be involved. I can't wait for everyone to experience both the music and the visuals."

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month (May), and in honor of the themes explored on Eva Under Fire's new album, the band has added a "DONATE" button to the "Villainous" video released today. By clicking the button, fans can directly donate to To Write Love On Her Arms — a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery.

"I'm excited to give back to an awesome organization actually doing the work," Lyberg offers about the decision to partner with To Write Love On Her Arms. "TWLOHA describes themselves as a non-profit dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, and self-injury. Those are the same demons being fought in the 'Villainous' music video so it's honestly a perfect fit." This fundraiser will be active through the end of May.

2026 will find Eva Under Fire on tour for most of the year so opportunities to see the band command the stage will be plentiful. The band spent the winter laying waste to venues alongside Jeris Johnson and Butcher Babies. They will return to the road this summer, serving as support for Five Finger Death Punch's 20th Anniversary World Tour 2026.

August Burns Red Announce "Season of Surrender" Out 6/5 + Share "The Nameless" Lyric Video

August Burns Red — Jake Luhrs (vocals); JB Brubaker (guitar); Brent Rambler (guitar); Dustin Davidson (bass); and Matt Grenier (drums) — need no introduction. For over two decades, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based act has been crafting its own unique brand of metalcore that has established ABR as one of the foremost acts in the genre. Their career milestones speak for themselves: Multiple placements in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200; tours with everyone from Bullet For My Valentine to A Day To Remember; and an accumulation of 600 million streams.

However, the band — nominated for Best Metal Performance Grammys in 2016 for the song "Identity" and again for "Invisible Enemy" in 2018 — has never stopped pushing the limits of their sound.

And that fact has never been more prevalent than on their forthcoming new album SEASON OF SURRENDER, which will arrive on June 5 via Fearless Records, the label to which they recently returned. Pre-order it here.

ABR have also just shared the lyric video for new single "The Nameless." Watch and listen below.

“The Nameless" accomplishes more in under three minutes than most heavy bands do over the course of an entire album. The track boasts the band's signature complex rhythm section, alongside dark and moody guitars, with an unrelenting vocal assault. This song is ABR stripped down to the absolute core of their sound: Intricate, crushing, and ferocious.

"'The Nameless' is a hard-hitting, heavy bruiser that doesn't let up for one moment," states Davidson. "It combines classic ABR elements with dark moody technical rhythms, and fast paced vocals to keep the intensity up for the full three minutes of the track. To me it showcases our roots of where we've come from, and the future path of where we're heading."

Luhrs follows, "Lyrically, 'The Nameless' is a song about not wasting your life away for the sake of acceptance and comfortability. Sometimes it takes detaching from what you’ve been told, or from the beliefs you are no longer aligned with, in order to face your own weaknesses. In doing so you can break free to live a life you are proud of.”

Season of Surrender features guest appearances from The Devil Wears Prada's Mike Hranica, Polaris' Jamie Hails, and Make Them Suffer.

ABR will hit the road on a co-headline run with The Amity Affliction this Spring, kicking off on April 10 in Worcester. All dates for the Spring Horizons tour are below.

Future Palace Drop "Supernova" Video

Germany's FUTURE PALACE are thrilled to share the video for their dynamically different new single "SUPERNOVA." Watch it below.

Once again, the band proves that post-hardcore is not a label with limits but a space full of creative possibilities with this track. The band took some sonic chances and the result is nothing short of stunning.

"Musically, 'Supernova' was an experiment," explains guitarist Manuel Kohlert. "Writing the track started with an angelic voice sample that was heavily glitched with a program. The upbeat feeling and intensity breaks unusually, not into a heavy part but into an acoustic guitar bridge with sing-along type vocals. The outro features a groovy breakdown that closes the track with lots of energy. Compared to other Future Palace tracks, this one feels unusual at first, yet there still is a catchy chorus as most of the times."

Singer Maria Lessing concurs, saying, "'Supernova' is a really special and different song for us. Already, the instrumental had a very experimental energy when I listened to it for the first time, and I decided to lean even more into this energy while writing the vocals."

Pulling back the curtain on the powerful and relatable subject matter, Lessing continues, "Lyrically, the song talks about humans that act so heartless that they lose their human form and turn into a 'homunculus.' The world is currently in a very brutal state and it's hard to find hope in humanity a lot of times. It's hard to understand how so much anger and lack of empathy can be inside someone. The song is supposed to convey this really unsettling feeling and unhuman energy. Also the struggle of finding hope and being scared of losing that last spark of it."

Future Palace, whose lineup is rounded out by drummer Johannes Früchtenicht, embody the emotional highs and lows of human life through a constantly shifting artistic lens. Their songs delve deep into internal struggles and shed light on issues surrounding mental health, topics that remain far too stigmatized in modern society. Over the past years, Future Palace have become one of Europe's most exciting alternative metal acts, propelled by their intense live energy and a constantly growing international fanbase. Their recent North American tour marked their first major venture across the Atlantic, earning widespread praise and further expanding their global reach. In Europe, their latest headline tour set new milestones with numerous sold-out and upgraded shows across the continent. With a rapidly growing catalogue, rising streaming numbers, and a global fan community, Future Palace are entering their most ambitious era yet.

Future Palace will spend the bulk of 2026 touring, with festival appearances and a fall tour on deck. All dates are below, including a return to the U.S. to appear at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville in September.

Ian Munsick Releases New Single, “Love Is Blind”

As Ian Munsick readies his next studio album – his first full-length project under WEST TO THE REST RECORDS/Triple Tigers Records – the Wyoming native is bracing for a run at Country radio. His new single “Love Is Blind” is available on streaming platforms now, and will impact radio on April 20. Listen Below.

Written by Munsick, Ryan Tyndell and Jeremy Spillman, the love-gone-wrong anthem was born from a moment of boredom, a guitar and an old familiar motif.

“‘Good things happen when you pick up a guitar…’

“I had just finished making my last album, Eagle Feather, and was in the midst of enjoying Christmas break at home with my family, away from playing, writing and recording music,” reflects Munsick. “My old faithful friend was hanging up on the wall, collecting dust, when those words popped into my head, ‘Good things happen when you pick up a guitar.’ The signature riff spilled out of my fingers and gave me immediate lyrical inspiration to write the lines ‘Now I’m right in the middle of a bow and a fiddle, tell me, how long have I been getting played.’ ‘Love Is Blind’ wrote itself.

“Almost a year later, I played a simple guitar/vocal recording for a then potential label partner, Triple Tigers Records and as soon as the last note faded, the label presidents looked at me and said the words that every artist wants to hear, ‘there’s your hit record,’” he adds. “Good things happen when I pick up a guitar.”

“Love Is Blind” is Munsick’s latest release following his WEST TO THE REST RECORDS/Triple Tigers Records debut, “Geronimo.” Directed by Ben Christensen, the accompanying music video was shot in Wyoming by Isaac Spotts and produced by Caroline Munsick. Watch Below.

Munsick also recently announced he’ll be partnering with The Landmark Hotel & Casino to open the Ian Munsick Cowboy Bar & Western Grill in August in Deadwood, S.D. Built between 1894-1920, The Landmark is Deadwood’s largest historic structure at approximately 35,000 square feet. The Ian Munsick Cowboy Bar & Western Grill will reside within over 2,600 square feet of the footprint. The venue will promote and celebrate country and western music with old school country bar decor, along with two performance stages, one indoors and one outdoors.

The Eagle Flies Free Tour, which kicked off on February 13 in Charlotte, N.C., is currently underway. With upcoming stops in Helotes, Texas; Durant, Okla. and more, Munsick is joined by a rotating lineup of guests including Ben Haggard and Kenny Whitmire. Post-punk legends Jah Wobble & Jon Klein release ‘Automated Paradise' album

Jah Wobble (Public Image Ltd) and guitarist Jon Klein (Siouxsie & The Banshees, Specimen) have released their 'Automated Paradise' album, their third collaborative record and also their debut album as a duo with Peckham-based label Dimple Discs. These two legends first combined forces on the 'Metal Box – Rebuilt In Dub' album in 2021, they continue to collaborate live and in the studio.

This is Jah Wobble’s first post-punk album in recent years, these brash guitar-driven tracks reflecting his preoccupation with the declining state of the nation. Driven by his weekly experience with Klein at the "Tuned In" music community project in Merton, this record recalls the spirit of Mark Stewart - angry in an empathetic, constructive way. The lyrical content mainly came together in the studio.

"Making this record with Jon Klein was (as ever) an absolute buzz. Totally in the moment. The music comes from that silent place. It’s pre-existing. You just allow it to flow. Sometimes you organise it early in  the process, sometimes you let it flow, with minimum direction," says Jah Wobble.

"Sometimes you conceptualise it from the get go (chord structures, set pre-ordained rhythms, bossa-nova, waltz, one drop, etc.  Sometimes it’s the opposite of that (see under Can, Metal Box etc. Sometimes you refer to memory sometimes you are “in the moment”. This was one of those in the moment records, that got quickly recognised for what it was and was duly processed."

Dimple Discs earlier shared the motorik lead track ‘Fading Away’, pulsating with the raw electrical tension of British post-punk and new wave, and the fire-buster 'Who Wins?', a song about distrust — about the growing sense that the grand halls of power have become echo chambers of empty promises. Both songs capture moments when the atmosphere shifts in humanity's current trajectory.

"This album started to take shape with the more angular noises pieces, but then stepped away into different places occasionally almost ambient. The sketches I presented for some tracks were turned upside down once Jah got hold of them. He tried different ideas for lyrics at different stages of each song's evolution, sometimes improvising themes and tunes that we’d edit and organise, and other times composing final ideas prior to recording," explains Jon Klein.

"That age old tradition of waiting around in studios, whilst the engineer boffin endlessly twiddles knobs whilst speaking in numerical tongues is something we are keen avoid. We like to make things happen in the moment, in a way that attendees can follow. Often we complete a working draft to a piece of music from scratch in a few hours".

This album follows two 2025 albums for Wobble -  ‘Dub Volume 1' (Dimple Discs) and the expanded reissue of the 2017 album 'The Usual Suspects', featuring 25 career highlights, re-recorded and including some of Wobble’s finest material, alongside tracks by Invaders Of The Heart and PiL.

Guitarist and producer Jon Klein was a member of Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1987 until 1994 (the 'Peepshow', 'Superstition' and 'The Rapture' era). Originally in the Bristol band Europeans, he then formed the glam-goth act Specimen and relocated to London, where he co-founded The Batcave nightclub. He has worked with Talvin Singh and Sinéad O'Connor, and co-produced a string of No. 1 albums for Warner-signed Fangoria, fueling a decade-long streak of chart-topping success in Spain.

'Automatic Paradise' is out now via Bandcamp, and available on both CD and transparent vinyl, with this pressing limited to 800 copies.  Jah Wobble & The Invaders Of The Heart continue touring the UK in 2026, and tickets can be ordered at https://jahwobble.com/#live

HELLRIPPER Launches Raucous New Anthem, "Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm," New Album 'Coronach' Out TODAY

Scotland's ibex-obsessed blackened thrash bastard of Hades, otherwise known as HELLRIPPER, is pleased to finally release his latest offering, 'Coronach,' today via Century Media Records! In celebration, HELLRIPPER is now sharing a lyric video for the raucous anthem, "Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm." The video was created by Cloud Motion Design and can be found below.

HELLRIPPER mastermind James McBain says of the album, “‘Coronach’ is a personal exploration of Scottish Culture — its music, literature, history & folklore. The album is the culmination of 3 years of hard work, and is a project that totally consumed me. From Pictish mysteries to Victorian Gothic literature, sinister lore, classic Scottish poetry and modern urban tales, the album tells stories of the country throughout the ages.

"Inspired by anything and everything from Venom and Mercyful Fate, to Watain and Opeth, to Manic Street Preachers, film scores and traditional Scottish music, the album is a good representation of myself all wrapped up in a nice speed metal package!

"Quite a bit of experimentation went into this album, and I wanted each track to contain something that I had never done previously. Whether it be the inclusion of a different instrument, or how a song begins, I aimed to offer some element of surprise in each track.

:The album, named after the vocal lament traditionally sung at funerals in the Scottish Highlands, encompasses everything the band is about: mixing modern and old-school influences, past and present storytelling, the dark side of Scottish history and my personal interpretation of it.

"As always, the writing and recording took place in my home studio, with various other people putting their stamp on a few of the tracks. The album was mixed by myself, and was mastered by Damian Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studios and the artwork was done by Adam Burke (Nightjar Illustration).

"Fàilte gu Alba - Welcome to Scotland!"

In regards to the new single, McBain adds "'Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm' is “a tale of witchcraft and possession set in a bleak moorland village inspired by Victorian Gothic Literature - particularly the ghost story of 'Thrawn Janet' by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson. Lyrically, to match the vibe and energy of the track, I wanted my interpretation of the tale to feel like an 80's horror film. This is perhaps the most "full-on" track on the album, and that's reflected in its shorter length. It's motor-charged, black 'n' roll in the vein of Venom, with a dose of classic heavy metal for good measure!”.

'Coronach' has been released worldwide on March 27, 2026 via Century Media Records, making it his debut to the label! 'Coronach' can be streamed, downloaded, or ordered HERE.

In addition, Hellripper will soon embark on European headline tour alongside Schizophrenia and Sarcator to promote 'Coronach.' He will also appear on a number of festivals this year and has also announced a string of support shows for thrash metal legend Testament in Spain and France. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.

The brainchild of guitarist/vocalist/solitary force, James McBain, Hellripper has been running like a denim-vested, backpatch-encrusted William Wallace, bravehearting his way through metal's bloodiest battlefields since first coagulating his personal darkness in 2014. Taking armaments from “Kill 'Em All” era Hetfield and “Welcome to Hell” era Mantas, McBain has immersed his fascination with darkness and speed with Scottish history and come with bloody masterpieces like 2023's “Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags” that Metal Injection stated: "Bursts with growth and a mature exploration of darkness and eeriness while maintaining that original high-octane burning”. McBain is presently sharpening his blades and casting new spells that will transmogrify into Hellripper's Century Media debut “Coronach”.

Hardcore Torchbearers Pro-Pain Drop Second Single + Video "March Of The Giants"

Hardcore torchbearers PRO-PAIN share "March Of The Giants," the second single off their long-awaited album Stone Cold Anger, out May 15 via Napalm Records. With their first album in 11 years, the New York legends — rising alongside Madball, Agnostic Front, and Sick Of It All — prove that they stayed on top of their heavy game throughout the years. "March Of The Giants" is David vs. Goliath—the pursuit of triumph over fear. With it, PRO-PAIN capture a story present throughout history: The oppressed versus the oppressors, a plutocratic class keeping a tight grip on everyone else. With added elements of oligarchy and technocracy, the scale of what the ordinary person is up against becomes even clearer. The impressive "March Of The Giants" shows PRO-PAIN continuously stoking up the fires in politically dark times, kicking down doors 35 years into their career.

The video for the new song was filmed in Belgium—specifically in Mons and Charleroi—and directed by Ludo Colapietro for COLAFILMSTUDIOS.

Watch the Official Music Video for "March Of The Giants" BELOW:

Gary Meskil about "March Of The Giants":
"The second single from our upcoming album, Stone Cold Anger, is 'March Of The Giants' — a song about standing tall and moving forward together to challenge oppressive forces and create real change. It was the first track completed for the new album, written with assistance from Eric Klinger and our former guitarist, Matt Sheridan."

Rhythm guitarist Eric Klinger adds:
"We are thrilled that our previous single was so well received, and we hope you equally enjoy this one. Thank you all for the overwhelming support!"

Legendary New York hardcore juggernauts PRO-PAIN make their debut on Napalm Records with their 16th studio album, Stone Cold Anger, out on May 15. Their first release in 11 years showcases the band's explosive energy in its purest form: Stone Cold Anger unfolds heavy, angry, and ready as ever—proving PRO-PAIN haven't lost even an ounce of strength. An exceptionally catchy offering, the new album fortifies its groovy melodies and stirring guitar riffs with furious and inciting, anthemic vocals, turning the ten new songs into worthy follow-ups to their 3.5mm stream hit "Voice of Rebellion" (2015).

Stone Cold Anger is an enthralling, memorable, and triumphant milestone for PRO-PAIN, and an impressive demonstration of power. See you in the pit!

Gary Meskil about Stone Cold Anger:
"Thank you to our fans worldwide for 35 years of unwavering support. After a decade away from the recording studio, we return with Stone Cold Anger — an album forged from global tension and the rising demand for accountability."

Order your copy of Stone Cold Anger NOW.

The highly-anticipated new album (which features the return of former guitarist Eric Klinger) opens up with the punishing "Oceans Of Blood," an energetic and captivating track which confirms once again that the hardcore icons have not lost one bit of their relentless anger in the last 35 years. The title track abruptly commences with soaring melodic guitars acting as sirens around front man and bassist Gary Meskil's commanding barks. Aptly named "March Of The Giants" is just that, a show of brute force layered upon an ever-so-heavy groove-laden foundation. "Uncle Sam Wants You!" displays a more rock 'n' roll attitude, complete with a driving bass line and distinct social commentary; the raw and honest vibe continues throughout "Demonic Intervention" and "Rinse & Repeat."  Meskil's raspy shouts fill the melodies of "Hell Or High Water" before PRO-PAIN forge onward and into the anthemic "Scorched Earth" — fiercely belting "And so it begins…" The following track, "Jonestown Punch," galvanizes with stirring, up-tempo two-steps before "Sky's The Limit" rounds off the album with catchy sing-along choruses.

Jonas Sanders — Drums
Greg Discenza — Lead Guitar

DIMMU BORGIR - Announce New Album 'Grand Serpent Rising' + Watch The Video For Single 'Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel'

Eight years after the release of their critically acclaimed album Eonian, Norwegian symphonic black metal titans DIMMU BORGIR return with a towering new opus: Grand Serpent Rising. Set for release on May 22 via Nuclear Blast Records, the album delivers thirteen punishing yet remarkably diverse tracks that reaffirm the band’s status as one of the most formidable forces in extreme music.

Shagrath comments: “I truly feel we’ve outdone ourselves musically on this album. It’s been a long and demanding process, but seeing how it all came together makes it incredibly rewarding. Grand Serpent Rising reflects every era of Dimmu Borgir - This album carries echoes of every chapter of Dimmu Borgir’s legacy - I believe our fans will recognize that, and find something within it that truly resonates.”

Even the sheer weight of the album title speaks volumes.

"It fits perfectly," guitarist Silenoz explains. “Dimmu Borgir is a leviathan of a band on a grand scale and we are rising once again. While the serpent represents evil to some, for us it symbolizes something else: renewal, growth, knowledge, and liberation. Shedding our skin, so to speak. And let’s not forget that February 2026 marks the end of the Year of the Snake, roughly the same moment this album was completed.”

Grand Serpent Rising was recorded in Gothenburg with acclaimed producer Fredrik Nordström, whose legacy with the band includes landmark releases Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia and Death Cult Armageddon. The collaboration once again captures the band at their most expansive and ferocious, blending orchestral grandeur with unrelenting black metal intensity.

Alongside the album announcement, the band unveils a cinematic video for the track 'Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel'. Sung in Norwegian, the song stands as a punishing epic rooted in themes of heritage and bloodline - the passing of something essential from one generation to the next.

Introducing Torn Open — NJ Extreme Deathcore Band Signs Announces EP, Shares "The Way Things Should End" Video

New Jersey's Torn Open will make the baby fine hairs on your neck stand upright. They hold nothing back in their brutal, deathcore music or their sanguine imagery. Solidifying their lineup in 2025, the quintet has shared stages with legends like Mortician, as well as Torture and more. They released TORN THE FUCK OPEN, VOL. 1. in 2025 and followed with the single "None So Vile."

Along the way, the band caught the attention of Blue Grape Music, which is pleased to announce it has added the band to its global roster.

Torn Open will continue to tear into the metal scene with full ferocity and fangs bared moving forward.

Today, the band announces the TORN THE FUCK OPEN, VOL. 2 EP, which will arrive on May 1. Pre-save it here.

Torn Open also shared the gloriously gory (and NSFW) video for the primal new single "The Way Things Should End." Watch the video, which unfolds like a fabulously feral, four-minute horror movie, below

It's vicious and visceral, grabs you by the throat, and doesn't let go. You won't make it out unscathed.

"The Way Things Should End" is intended to be a hard-hitting introduction to a new era, and not just musically. The single checks all the boxes — creative riffing, a groove that makes you want to punch the guy next to you, and meaningful lyrics that address about how political power needs to be directly combatted with violence. Working in tandem with the imagery from the music video, the song creates an astoundingly strong statement, calling out and denouncing the malice inflicted upon many as a product of greed. It aims to point out that there are little to no distinguishing factors between businessmen and politicians anymore, and we are running out of peaceful options when it comes to stopping tyranny.

Below are the forthcoming Torn Open live dates. The band will also perform at the Milwaukee Metal Fest Pre-Party, sponsored by Blue Grape, on June 4.
