Eric Church Band's 'Music Row for MusiCares' Returns to Chief's on August 9

A special evening of songs and stories returns to Broadway this summer with Music Row for MusiCares presented by the Eric Church Band and Corient set to take place at Chief’s on Broadway on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026. Eric Church Band members Jeff Hyde and Driver Williams will be joined by acclaimed songwriters Casey Beathard, Luke Dick, Jonathan Singleton and Dan Isbell for a powerful evening of music, storytelling and giving back.

Ticket proceeds will benefit MusiCares, a nonprofit that provides vital health and human services to members of the music community. Since 2012, the Eric Church Band has helped raise more than $3.5 million through its annual ECB Golf Tournament and Auction. Music Row for MusiCares is a continuation of that mission, extending the band’s legacy of philanthropy and deep connection to the songwriting community.

Members of The Church Choir, Church’s passionate fanbase, have early access to tickets now, with the public onsale beginning today, June 13 at 12 p.m. CT. Ticket prices start at $30. MULTI-PLATINUM COUNTRY ROCKER BRANTLEY GILBERT EXTENDS HEADLINING REAL AMERICAN TOUR

As he readies the release of his eighth studio album SINS OF THE FATHER for Friday, July 24, multi-Platinum trailblazer Brantley Gilbert announces additional tour stops, extending his headlining Real American Tour through November 2026. With direct support from John Morgan, along with Jay Webb and Atlus on select dates, the newly announced dates include stops in Boston, Mass., Savannah, Ga., Cincinnati, Ohio, Biloxi, Miss. and more.

General on sale begins this Friday, July 17 at 10am local time at BrantleyGilbert.com. Fan club members in the Gold & Silver tiers can begin purchasing tickets tomorrow, July 14 at 10am local time and Bronze can begin purchasing tickets Wednesday, July 15 at 10am local time. “As long as there’s a box in country music, I know where I belong,” the Georgia-born hitmaker says. “And that’s right on the outside of it. All of my albums are a chapter of my life and this one’s no different. I don’t have skeletons in the closet – my shit’s out in the open. So if there’s any piece of my story that could help somebody, I’m cheating them if I keep it to myself.”
 
Co-produced with rock-schooled collaborator Brock Berryhill (Twenty One Pilots, Kane Brown), SINS OF THE FATHER marks some of the hardest-hitting work of Gilbert’s career, yet the diesel-fueled two-lane trap he helped pioneer is never far away. Bottomless distortion and pounding drums join melodic, gravel-road grooves, while the bare bones of country soul turn painful realities into three-chords-and-the-truth.
 
He also launched Real American Beer Zero after becoming an investor and equity partner of Real American Beer (RAB). RAB Zero is the company’s first non-alcoholic beer with $1 per case sold of RAB Zero going to the USO in addition to ongoing donations tied directly to sales, supporting active-duty service members and their families.

DEATĦ B¥ LØVE unleashes 2-track single 'In Unity (WIELORYB Remix & Tribute)'

Trans-Atlantic dark-electronic duo DEATĦ B¥ LØVE presents their new single "In Unity (WIELORYB Remix and Tribute)", which is dedicated to Wieloryb a.k.a. Paweł Kmiecik, a groundbreaking music and video artist, known for his aggressive brand of industrial music and post-apocalyptic videos and who also, tragically, passed away just a month ago.

This two-track offering consists of "In Unity (WIELORYB Power Noise Remix)" and "In Unity (WIELORYB vs. PSYCHOTRIBE Tribute Remix)", for which the accompanying video was created by Wieloryb. This single arrives soon after the release of DEATĦ B¥ LØVE's debut album "444", released via Distortion Productions.

A talented artist, Wieloryb was the dark pulse of Poland's industrial music scene, emerging in Gdańsk in 1994 during an era of concrete, rust, and cold electronics. From his first recordings, Wieloryb struck without compromise. Electro industrial, EBM, and techno merged with noise, metallic rhythms, and haunting ambient soundscapes. The debut cassette "I" earned a Fryderyk Award nomination and opened a new chapter in Polish electronic music that was brutal, uncompromising, and devoid of light.

For decades, Wieloryb's music has existed where aggression meets trance, and destruction gives way to contemplation. It is more than sound. It is a complete mechanical ritual, where raw electronics intertwine seamlessly with Paweł's experimental visual art and video work, creating a singular aesthetic language of industrial melancholy.

“We dedicate this release to Wieloryb, Paweł Kmiecik, an extraordinary artist, producer, and video creator, whose vision left a lasting mark on the industrial scene. “In Unity” was the final remix he completed before his sudden and unexpected passing,” says Pete Guellard.

“His post-apocalyptic industrial landscapes sent chills down our spines, while his relentless rhythms and crushing soundscapes raised our pulse and demanded movement. His work was raw, uncompromising, and unforgettable. Thank you for everything Paweł. Your legacy lives on through the art you left behind. All profits from this release will go directly to support Paweł's family.”

Made up of Pittsburgh music producer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Guellard and singer-songwriter Ing a Habiba, who is based in Łódź, Poland, their music is framed as an intentional collision between Western gothic-industrial foundations with Middle Eastern scales and atmospheric trip-hop textures. Their debut album "444" explores cycles of trauma and healing across cultures and our hyper-connected yet physically isolated world. These 11 tracks address such themes as mysticism, identity, spiritual tension and emotional rebirth, plunging listeners into shadow and transcendence.


For decades, Peter Guellard has been active in both the US and Polish underground music scenes, including with The Electric Hellfire Club, Closterkeller and Poland's pioneering darkwave-goth bands Blitzkrieg.As for Inga Habiba, her distinctive, spiritually-charged voice has been shaped by a multicultural heritage and through fronting gothic and new-wave acts.

As of July 14, the remixes are available on Bandcamp, where the '444' album is also available on CD and digitally. The album is also on all streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.

Blending cinematic atmosphere, crushing riffs, and emotionally charged melodic hooks, Omen//Skye continue to establish themselves as one of the Mid-Atlantic's most promising heavy acts. Built on the foundation of explosive live performances, the band seamlessly merges the intensity of classic metalcore with the innovation of the genre's modern wave, forging a sound that is both familiar and unmistakably their own.

 

Their latest release, "Further," dives deep into conceptual storytelling, delivering a chilling narrative wrapped in towering guitars, relentless rhythms, and dynamic vocal performances.

 

"'Further' serves as an esoteric warning to anybody searching for knowledge of things they couldn't possibly comprehend as a human. Unverkalt Release New Video for Grief-Stricken “Ænæ Lithi”

After drawing closer and closer to the edge with each album over the past decade, Unverkalt are receiving high praise for the post-metal band’s heavy and heartfelt new offering.

As they bring Héréditaire to the world stage, today, Unverkalt are releasing a video for the album’s most gut-wrenching song. Dedicated in memory to the victims of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, “Ænæ Lithi” turns a historical tragedy into an aching monument for grief.  

“It is a great honor for me to create and share this video”, Unverkalt guitarist Themis Ioannou says. “The story behind our song ‘Ænæ Lithi’ is deeply personal to me, as it is part of my own family’s history. I dedicate it to my beloved grandmother and my father, who are no longer with us. This video is for them, and for the millions of people who lost their lives or were forced to abandon their ancestral homes during and after the Asia Minor Catastrophe of 1922”.

Before they emerged as blackened beacons for post-metal, Unverkalt rose through the Greek underground. In lifting the veil from our cursed existence, Héréditaire bares the weight of a traumatic moment in their home country’s history. “Ænæ Lithi”, which in English roughly translates to “Eternal Oblivion”, mourns the years between 1914 and 1923, when Greek communities across Pontus, Ionia and Eastern Thrace were subjected to persecution, forced deportations, death marches and mass killings during the final years of the Ottoman Empire.

“The memory of those who suffered from the Asia Minor Catastrophe continue to be honored by their descendants and communities around the world”,  Ioannou says. “The music video for ‘Ænæ Lithi’, which uses historical photographs from this tragic event, is dedicated to preserving their memory and to the generations forever marked in its aftermath”.  

Amidst its smoky and simmering modern-day atmosphere, “Ænæ Lithi” stirs with sounds from a past that refuses to stay buried. Creeping dissonance and a slow pounding of toms intertwine with clarinet and qanun, hand drums, strings and lyrics in Greek.  “We are the source”, Unverkalt vocalist Dimitra Kalavrezou chants with her mesmerizing cleans. As the band rise with overwhelming force, “Ænæ Lithi” comes crashing down with the weight of what was lost and all the pain that remains.

Chilean Guitarist And Composer BAXTY Faces Reality In The New Single "Threshold" Ft. Pierre Danel (NOVELISTS)

BAXTY presents "Threshold", the first in a tripart collection of compositions that entwines emotional storytelling through technical progressive music. This trilogy of singles explore the psychological states of a painful realization of truth, the subsequent internal destruction, and the journey to acceptance and rebuilding one's identity. The single also features Pierre Danel (NOVELISTS), bringing his signature modern progressive guitar approach to the composition and adding another layer to BAXTY’s cinematic and technical vision.

On "Threshold", BAXTY shares: 

"'Threshold' represents the culminating point of a deep disappointment — the moment when you finally realize there is no turning back. It’s the instant when illusions begin to collapse and the truth becomes impossible to ignore. The song explores the emotional weight of standing at that edge, where the only option left is to accept reality and take the step toward confronting it."

Commanding intensity strikes from the moment "Threshold" begins. A fast and powerful display of intricate guitar leads traverses above a contrasting heavy rhythmic pattern. The progressive arrangement evokes a sense of unease while the track's inescapable momentum races forwards. "Threshold" presents a stylistic shift in the following section as the pace is restrained and the instrumental arrangement widens providing space to breathe. 

Dynamic orchestration, delicate piano melodies and warm synths aptly convey the emotion and conceptual narrative across "Threshold". The multi-textural sound contributes to BAXTY's detailed sonic world building. 

About BAXTY:

Based out of Santiago, Chile, the solo project BAXTY emerged in 2022 driven by Bastian "Baxty" Martinez's need to find his own voice while seeking to connect the melodic and the aggressive. BAXTY draws heavily from cinematic sound design and immersive musical experiences, alongside an exploration of self-expression, artistic freedom and emotional storytelling. 

Blending intricate and progressive technical guitars with impressive soundscapes and emotive narratives, BAXTY takes inspiration from across a wealth of heavy music genres and styles into his distinctive compositions. Influences in BAXTY's sound derive from an array of bands notably, DREAM THEATER, THE CONTORTIONIST, ALICE IN CHAINS, PANTERA and PINK FLOYD. 

In 2024, BAXTY independently released the debut EP Event Horizon and collaborated with Jordan Rudess (DREAM THEATER) performing guitar solos on "Into the Lair" and "Embers" from his album Permission to Fly. "It's for all the 'fake friends' and followers on social media that you'll never meet," says singer Rene Mata. "It's also about two actual people that were in my life. One of them, I thought was my friend since high school and he was in my first band. The other was someone I think was only friends with me to get backstage at shows and do blow in the bathroom!"

The song was produced by Cass Dillon (GreyDaze, Goo Dolls Morgan Saint) and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (Papa Roach Bush, Evanescence).

Ian Munsick recruited fellow Wyoming rapper Ryan Charles, along with Rocky Mountain Fever bandmates Peter Wilson (drummer), Tristan Smith (guitar player) and Jonathan Warren (fiddle player), for the official video treatment of his current radio single, “Love Is Blind,” out now. Watch BELOW.. 
 
“Love Is Blind” was written by ​​Munsick, Ryan Tyndell and Jeremy Spillman, and is currently top 50 and climbing at Country radio. Munsick and Charles have been longtime friends and collaborators, dating back to Munsick’s 2022 release, “Cowboy Killers.” In the official music video, directed by Emma Golden and produced by Troy Jackson, Munsick stars as an eye doctor at Palomino Eyes clinic, treating Charles’ vision after a relationship gone awry.
 
“Optometrist was never on my bingo card of professions I thought I’d pose as, but here we are! ‘Love Is Blind’ has a playfulness to it that I knew we had to capitalize on when making this music video,” Munsick remarks. “Luckily, I had the perfect people in mind. My buddy Ryan Charles was the perfect protagonist for a heartbroken, hungover hero and Emma Golden was the natural pick to direct this work of cinema. “Love Is Blind” hails from Munsick’s fourth studio album, The Mountain Goat, arriving August 21 via WEST TO THE REST RECORDS / Triple Tigers Records. Spanning 15 tracks, The Mountain Goat was produced by Munsick, Jeremy Spillman and Mike Robinson. Pre-save HERE.

Along with co-producing the album, Munsick also played an extensive role in the instrumentation heard on the record. Munsick promises to deliver fans a memorable tour of the west with a series of shows during album release week, as well as the launch of his Schaefer Outfitter clothing line on August 18. As part of “The Road to The Mountain Goat,” Munsick’s official album release show will be held at Deer Valley Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater in Park City, Utah on August 22 as part of the Deer Valley Concert Series.

FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS Announce New EP Impulse Tension; Share New Single And Video "Covert Cadaver"

Massachusetts heavy music outfit FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS will release their new EP, Impulse Tension, on August 25, 2026 via Do Work Productions. The band has also shared the new single "Covert Cadaver," accompanied by a striking music video.

Drawing from chaos, melody, grief, betrayal, and spiritual reckoning, Impulse Tension marks the fourth release from FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS and finds the band pushing further into the volatile heaviness and haunting melodic tension that have shaped their sound since 2018.

The EP features Joseph Izayea on lyrics and vocals, Josh Previte on bass, guitar, and vocals, Eric Sheppard on drums, and Alicia Marinelli on guitar. Produced by Josh Previte and Joseph Izayea, Impulse Tension was recorded at Galactic Summit, Linwood Park Studios, and The DoWorkshop. The EP was engineered by Chris Daniele and Josh Previte, with mixing and mastering handled by Chris Daniele.

Speaking on the release, Joseph Izayea shares:

“I’m tremendously excited to announce the release of the third FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS record, Impulse Tension. A ton of work and passion went into these songs, speaking on some of the darkest points of my life so far, and this is arguably the best work we’ve ever done as a unit. We brought in some seriously talented friends of ours to make this the very best it could be, and we are extremely grateful to finally show you what we’ve brought to bear. We hope you enjoy it!”

Ahead of the EP, FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS have released "Covert Cadaver," a brooding and emotionally volatile track that arrives with an official music video. The song closes Impulse Tension with a shifting storm of sorrow, hope, despair, grief, anger, judgment, acceptance, disbelief, and confusion.

Izayea adds:

“I’m stoked to announce the release of our new music video for the track "Covert Cadaver," dropping ahead of our new album Impulse Tension exclusively on YouTube. We had so much fun working with the Reel58 team at the Broken Chains Biker Church, which I never even knew existed until we put this together, and we’re pumped for this record to see the light of day. FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS began with the growing musical chemistry between Josh Previte and Joseph Izayea, who had spent years together in the heavy music scene across projects including CITY OF HOMES, TO DIE THIS NIGHT, and STRUCTURE FAILS. After multiple releases and limited touring under other banners, the pair launched FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS as a new collaborative outlet driven by their shared creative direction.

The band’s debut EP, Your Occlusion Unbound, arrived in 2018, followed by Modus Exodus in 2020. Since then, the members have continued to expand their creative reach through projects including SEEKING SIRENS, HARDER TRUTHS, ENTROPY, REVOLVE/EVOLVE, and BLEED LIKE MYLEE. The HARDER TRUTHS collaboration featured contributions from members and alumni of UNEARTH, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, SPIRITBOX, and more.

With Impulse Tension, FROM UNDER CONCRETE KINGS return with their most aggressive and chaotic clutch of songs to date, pairing pummeling heaviness with unsettling melody and deeply personal lyrical weight.

THE HU ARRIVE IN LONDON AHEAD OF THEIR NEW ALBUM HUN RELEASE + IRON MAIDEN SUPPORT AT KNEBWORTH

Mongolia’s biggest musical stars, and rock-folk pioneers, The HU arrived in London yesterday ahead of their highly anticipated support slot for Iron Maiden at Knebworth on Saturday, July 11.

After landing in London, the band headed straight to the city's tourist attractions, including a visit to the British Army's Household Cavalry in Whitehall. There, they were spotted by a stunned, devoted fan; one Lance Corporal with the Life Guards Squadron, who recognised them on CCTV and persuaded his commanding officer to let them meet the horses and guards in the stables at Horse Guards Parade. The band were also introduced to Overlord, the biggest horse in the squadron.

Adrian Crowley & Bring Your Own Hammer resurrect the past on 'Quinn The Adventurer' single

Bring Your Own Hammer (BYOH) in partnership with Dimple Discs, continues its acclaimed Music and History Series with the release of "Quinn the Adventurer", a compelling new single performed by celebrated Irish songwriter Adrian Crowley that stands as another striking chapter in this series, bringing an extraordinary true story from Ireland's past vividly into the present through song.

This previews "From the Tombs", This barnstorming  21-song double album is a journey through the history of crime, law and order in Ireland and among the Irish Diaspora in the 19th century.

This is the second BYOH album following "My Grief on the Sea", a collection of songs about the sea, maritime voyages, and migration to and from Ireland during the 1800s, dedicated to Cathal Coughlan (Microdisney, Fatima Mansions), one of Ireland’s most revered artists, who was also involved in this project.

A musical portrait of one of the most remarkable true stories to emerge from the Irish diaspora, "Quinn the Adventurer" tells the extraordinary tale of James Quinn (a.k.a. Tim O'Brien), a young Irish Catholic who left Belfast in 1920 to embark on an astonishing journey across North and South America. By 1924, Quinn had arrived in Hollywood, where he worked as an extra in silent films alongside Charlie Chaplin.

Quinn's adventure took an unexpected turn when L.A. newspapers reported his arrest upon exhibiting a collection of Amazonian shrunken heads at the Long Beach Pike amusement park. Charged with the theft of the collection (valued at $25,000), Quinn was convicted of first-degree burglary and sentenced to San Quentin State Prison. Yet, thanks to the extraordinary twists of his life, he never served his sentence, instead skipping bail before resurfacing in Panama, on his way to Havana, Cuba.

Adrian Crowley's rich, unmistakable voice and masterful storytelling transform Quinn's remarkable journey into an evocative ballad that captures the spirit of adventure, reinvention and myth. The song invites listeners to imagine themselves crossing the Caribbean alongside Quinn, hearing first-hand the stories of a life lived on the edge of history.

One of Ireland's most distinctive musical voices, Crowley has spent more than two decades crafting music celebrated for its poetic depth, haunting narratives and resonant baritone. An award-winning songwriter, singer and composer, his most recent album "Measure of Joy", produced by the acclaimed John Parish, received widespread critical praise and radio support.

Bring Your Own Hammer is a masterclass in collaborative artistry that unites historical scholarship and contemporary composition. Curated by Dr. Richard Mc Mahon(lecturer in History at MIC, Limerick and currently a visiting fellow at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge), BYOH explores forms of invented history, rooted in historical sources from Ireland and overseas, with support from Dr. Niall Whelehan(senior lecturer at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, who has written widely on the history of modern Ireland and the Irish diaspora with a focus on the 19th century).

Bringing some of Ireland’s and Britain’s finest songwriters together with historians to create new and original song cycles based on historical sources and to interpret song material rooted in the history of 19th-century Ireland and of the Irish Diaspora. Not a band, nor an ensemble or even a collective, Bring Your Own Hammer is a faction - one that is armed with voices and instruments and dedicated to re-interpreting historical material in song form.
