KHEMMIS ANNOUNCE NEW SELF-TITLED ALBUM OUT JUNE 12TH

KHEMMIS returns! Denver’s colossal heavy metal band is back with their massively anticipated fifth album, due out June 12th via Nuclear Blast Records. The self-titled record — the follow-up to 2021’s heralded Deceiver — represents KHEMMIS in their truest form: disciples of the riff. Adorned with artwork from Christopher Remmers and featuring eight tracks of unadulterated, monolithic metal, Khemmis is a celebration of heavy music, bound by the camaraderie and shared passion that was reignited during its recording.

Commenting on the impending album, guitarist/vocalist Ben Hutcherson states:

We decided early in the songwriting process that we wanted to write a tight, high-energy album that retained the essential ‘Khemmis sound’ while also embodying the joy of creating, experiencing, and loving heavy metal. Ours have always been deeply personal songs born from tragedy and sorrow; while the songs on Khemmis are still undeniably dark—I don't think we're capable of writing ‘happy’ music nor can we disentangle our music from our own personal experiences—they are not mined from our suffering. Instead, this record is a celebration of the music world that has sustained us, both individually and collectively, and has also gifted us with community and a sense of meaning. In many ways, we have reconnected with the energy and excitement from our earliest days as a band, an unabashed desire to play loud, heavy music. That exuberance is infused with a profound sense of gratitude to be able to create art with each other and to share it with the world.

Without further ado, KHEMMIS has revealed the album’s lead track and first single, “Invocation of the Dreamer,” which is accompanied by a music video directed by Frank Guerra.

Adding about the new song, Hutcherson says:

We knew that this song had to be the first single in much the same way we knew it had to be the album opener—it is an undeniable ripper. "Invocation of the Dreamer" kicks the front door in, flips over your coffee table, and sets your living room on fire. It has everything you'd expect from a Khemmis song—big riffs, harmonized guitars, infectious vocal melodies—along with a slew of surprises, including blastbeats and a scorching bass break.

KHEMMIS will perform a special one-off show with ACID BATH in May before embarking on a headlining tour in early summer with support from NECROFIER and WRETCHED, followed by an excursion with MONOLORD soon after. Tickets are available at https://khemmisdoom.com/live/.

Khemmis is available for pre-order now, including a ‘Deluxe Edition’ of the record offered by the band, which features exclusive extras—a behind-the-scenes photobook, an autographed promo photo, and more—directly from their website.

About KHEMMIS:

After eleven years of albums and global touring, Colorado’s Khemmis have cemented themselves as pillars of modern heavy metal. Yet as they approach their fifth full-length, the band found something newly vital: the simple joy of creating heavy music together. Formed with no expectations, the group’s longevity has become its foundation, with guitarist/vocalist Ben Hutcherson describing the band as a rare source of stability and camaraderie. Since their 2015 debut Absolution, followed by the acclaimed Hunted, Desolation, Doomed Heavy Metal MLP, and Deceiver, Khemmis have built a legacy of towering, spiritual doom that continues to resonate with fans worldwide.

Despite changes—including members relocating and bassist David Small joining in 2022—the band emerged more focused than ever. Recording again at Flatline Audio in Colorado, the lineup of Hutcherson, Phil Pendergast, Zach Coleman, and Small leaned into renewed trust and chemistry, with distance paradoxically strengthening their bond. The addition of Small invigorated the rhythm section and encouraged experimentation, while the band rediscovered the excitement that defined their early days. That renewed energy fueled a collaborative atmosphere rooted in confidence, inspiration, and the shared thrill of simply playing heavy metal.

The resulting self-titled album is both a celebration and reinvention: a conceptually framed ritual of heavy metal that moves from the pounding “Invocation of the Dreamer” to the climactic “Benediction Tones,” balancing galloping aggression with emotionally resonant anthems. The record embraces extremity, catharsis, and joy in equal measure, complemented by new visual direction from artist Christopher Remmers. Through lineup changes, distance, and a shifting world, Khemmis remain unshaken—leaning into the music that defines them. Their self-titled album arrives June 12th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast, capturing the band in their truest and most energized form.

Enter Shikari Surprise Release New Album 'LOSE YOUR SELF' via SO Recordings

With zero announcements or teasers from the band, Enter Shikari have a surprise release, their brand new album! Lose Your Self (released via So Recordings) spans 12 tracks exploring themes of desolation, futility and complete despair at the state of the world, but with glimmers of hopefulness and optimism threaded throughout. Whilst the likes of major pop stars including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber who have famously released albums out of the blue over the years, Enter Shikari have managed to not only release Lose Your Self digitally, but also physically, unlike their predecessors. As of right now (12am BST on Friday, April 10th), this accomplished and ingenious body of work is available to stream and also buy in CD and vinyl format worldwide. Listen Below.

Frontman Rou Reynolds articulates,

"We’re delighted to present LOSE YOUR SELF, and give people the chance to hear a Shikari record like never before - as a cohesive whole. We want people to go on a proper journey with this album, and see where it takes them.

No lead up, no singles, and no explanation. Forcing the listener to actually listen, without being drip-fed ideas out of context, or spoon-fed explanations. We simply present it all, for the listener to immerse themself in.

Releasing in this way was also a decision to not be distracted by chart races, or accolades and “things”.

We got the No.1 album on our last record. This is simply about the music being presented in a natural way.

Despite turning out to be one our darkest and heaviest albums to date, it also preaches hope and offers answers.

Shikari will always offer hope, because without hope there is no action. We’ll just always offer it with a dose of realism.”

Earlier this year, Enter Shikari announced a UK and EU headline arena tour for November, their biggest yet, a headline run in Australia in May, and two headline runs in North America - the first hitting the East Coast in June, where they will be joined by Boston Manor and Initiate as support, the second hitting the West Coast in September and October with Initiate and main support TBA.

The EU dates kick off on 3rd November at the Sporthalle in Hamburg, and include the band’s biggest ever German headline show, at Düsseldorf’s Mitsubishi Halle, boasting a capacity of 7500! The band will then begin the UK leg of the tour in Nottingham at the Motorpoint Arena on 13th November. Gigs in cities including Cardiff, Hull, Glasgow and Manchester will follow, before ending with not one but two shows at London’s Alexandra Palace on 20th and 21st November! All dates, information and tickets for all live dates can be found here.

Every ticket sold for the band’s UK arena tour dates will include a £1 donation to the Music Venue Trust, supporting grassroots music venues under threat of closure in the UK. Enter Shikari were the first artist to implement the scheme which is one very close to their hearts, with ticket sales from their 2024 arena tour carrying the donation, paving the way for the likes of Sam Fender and Coldplay to follow suit with their own generous donations.

The highly-anticipated November tour is the band’s first arena tour since their A Kiss For The Whole World tour in 2024, celebrating their album of the same name landing them their first ever UK No.1 album in the Official Charts, where they had previously scored 6 Top 10 albums! The 2024 tour included their raucous debut Wembley Arena show. The four-piece last year released Live At Wembley, the triumphant live show recorded in full available on streaming services, and on a limited run of vinyl available at only four record stores worldwide. You can also watch the full show here, which features footage from the first FPV (first-person view) drone to be flown live at Wembley Arena!

During their remarkable and celebrated career, Enter Shikari have received several accolades in the form of gongs from NME, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Heavy Music Awards and more. They have played a whopping 3000+ live shows around the world including three headline arena tours in the UK, supported the likes of The Prodigy and Linkin Park and played festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Download and Slam Dunk where they also headlined in 2023.

LOSE YOUR SELF arrives at a moment when Enter Shikari's trajectory has never been steeper. Their seventh record, A Kiss For The Whole World, gave them their first UK Official Albums Chart No.1 in 2023, completing a run of seven consecutive top-five debuts. The subsequent arena tour included a landmark first headline performance at London's Wembley Arena, later documented on the live album and film Live From Wembley. This November, the band embark on their biggest UK and European arena tour yet, taking in two nights at London's Alexandra Palace, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Manchester's Co-op Live, and their first ever German headline arena show. North American headline dates are confirmed for the East Coast in June and the West Coast in September/October, along with performances at Vans Warped Tour in Washington D.C. and Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI.

Renowned worldwide for spectacular, innovative live shows that blur the line between concert and communal release, Enter Shikari have built a reputation as one of the most joyously incendiary bands actively touring today. Their production-led performances, featuring arena-scale laser and lighting rigs, regularly see band members launching themselves into the centre of the crowd. Over 3,000 shows worldwide and counting, with headlining performances at major festivals including Slam Dunk, Reading and Leeds, and Download Pilot alongside three UK arena tours. There are few bands working harder or putting more of themselves into every performance they give.

Enter Shikari's North American headline tour begins June 10 in Boston. Tickets available at entershikari.com.

As Everything Unfolds Release New Album "Did You Ask To Be Set Free" Plus New Video For "Find Another Way Out"

As Everything Unfolds release their highly-anticipated new album, DID YOU ASK TO BE SET FREE?, via Century Media.

"People often reference and say that their album has been a journey process for them in their experiences, a form of therapy if you will," says As Everything Unfolds frontwoman Charlie Rolfe. "I've never related to something so deeply as I have with this record. This album's process started in an extremely positive part of my life, we started writing the record, things were going well, music was flowing we had about ten demos at this point, I was living in harmony and happiness, finally starting to feel at peace in life with my bandmates, friends, family and partner, only to be hit with the shift of losing more than I can even describe."

"I had to move from my home, drugs/alcohol were corrupting people around me," she continues. "Alongside this my boyfriend, and fellow bandmate Jamie, passed away. Going through all of this trauma and grief left me in a state of numbness, losing all sense of myself. After some time we decided to tackle writing again, I started journaling after my therapy sessions a lot and turning those entries into lyrics, and it rolled from there into a lot of the songs you hear on this record. Given the nature of Jamie's passing and other traumas happening midway through the process, you really get the sense of change, the sonic and lyrical dynamic shift in the music, and as hard as it is, to listen to some of the tracks, knowing what I'd been through, knowing that some tracks Jamie had either heard or he hadn't, even now it's still hard to process, but that process, that movement and passage of time it's what makes it a journey of our experiences."

"I found a lot of comfort in my passions during my time alone. I spent a lot of time waiting for days to go by, experiencing what I now know to be maladaptive daydreaming, just to get myself out of my own life and human experience whenever I could. I started to play with the idea of writing this record through the perspective of escapism, mirroring my own escape from trauma into daydreams, movies and music. Films like Blade Runner, Donnie DarkoBram Stoker's Dracula and The Shining allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings with a protective barrier, pretending to be someone else rather than living these experiences in real time as Charlie."

"I was really seeking new musical inspiration after our second album. Reading 'The Creative Act' by Rick Rubin changed the way I wrote melodies and lyrics, and how I viewed creativity as a whole. I spent a lot of time writing subconsciously while driving, walking or cooking. For example, I was blasting the Gasoline instrumental demo while cooking and wrote the whole chorus almost in one take, voice noting it immediately, and it didn’t change much from there to the final version."

"I ended up going backwards to my teenage years for inspiration, pulling from music I feel so connected to like
My Chemical Romance, Thirty Seconds to Mars' A Beautiful Lie and Flyleaf's Memento Mori, alongside the New Wave and New Romantic music I was brought up on. Bands like Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Duran Duran and Adam & The Ants influenced the album visually, while peers like Vukovi, Rivals, Enter Shikari, The Throwaway Scene and South Arcade helped shape it in the present."

Of "Find Another Way", today’s album release single, Charlie says:
"'Find Another Way' is a song written about having to come to terms with my own self sacrifice and letting go of holding control of things I just can’t anymore. I found I just needed to follow the path that was always destined for me. I really started to think about how as soon as I started to accept my present reality, my path & just letting things happen, how much more I was able to manage myself on a day to day basis, sacrificing the person I was before all my trauma, letting them go and evolving into this new version of myself, whether that be for better or worse in the meantime, it's who I am now supposed to be and I will find another way to be, another way to exist and find myself again. I remember watching Donnie Darko and for some reason this particular time I watched it, it hit me in a way I never felt before, watching Donnie have to come to terms with his own death so his friends/family can continue to live, how he tried to ignore his new reality, and in the end he found happiness in knowing what he did saved everyone around him."

Chronicler Of Ardul Releases Sounds of Ardul

Sounds of Ardul is a sweeping orchestral journey into the dark fantasy realm of Ardul, composed by David Williams of CHRONICLER OF ARDUL. Instead of relying on metal elements, the album embraces cinematic storytelling through rich symphonic textures, intimate folk tunes, and atmospheric worldbuilding. Each track feels like a moment from a larger adventure, guiding listeners through taverns, shadowed forests, ancient mists, and violent clashes. With recurring motifs, emotional character themes, and evocative arrangements, Sounds of Ardul invites audiences to step directly into the world itself, experiencing its wonder, danger, and humanity firsthand.

“Watch Over Me (feat. EXILED HOPE)” opens the album as a bardic folk song carried by clean guitar, violin, hand percussion, and the expressive voice of Sofia Frasz, following a lost traveler yearning for home while navigating the perilous roads of Ardul. “Watch Over Me (Village Version)” shifts to a smaller, more comforting space, portraying the safety and simplicity found within village walls through a short instrumental loop of guitar and violin. “You’re Gone (feat. SYYN)” brings the emotional weight of loss to the forefront, with Aaron Johnson III delivering a somber tavern ballad about love, its fleeting beauty, and the devastating revelation of death that reshapes the meaning of each chorus.

The album’s world building takes a lively turn with “Oh Me Oh My,” a rowdy late-night tavern song featuring vocals by David Williams, built from stomps, claps, bottle taps, and a catchy refrain meant for drunken patrons. “Woodlands” ventures outside into the dark beauty of Ardul’s forests using strings, harp, clarinet, piano, and choir to evoke mystery and deceptive warmth. Its variations expand that setting: “Woodlands (Alternate Version)” isolates the listener with cello, piano, and harp, while “Woodlands (Battle Theme)” heightens the danger with brass, percussion, and rhythmic urgency as hidden threats reveal themselves.

“In the Mists of the Myrewood (Remastered)” returns to the foundational themes of the larger Ardul mythos. A solo piano piece born early in the project’s history, it whispers with darkness and elegance, building into the thick, treacherous fog that defines the Myrewood. “Veiled Truth” explores moral ambiguity through shifting strings, piano, choir, and guitar, reflecting the uneasy question of whether familiar faces can be trusted. “Unwelcomed Guests” continues the rising tension with timpani heartbeats, clacking percussion, unsettling strings, and a divided choir as an unwelcome figure approaches with unclear intentions.

“To Arms! (String Quintet)” marks the snapping point where conflict erupts, delivering an intimate yet fierce battle theme reminiscent of classic RPG duels. “Temporary Respite” pulls the listener back into calm with soft piano and choir, offering a resting place after turmoil. “Moments From Disaster” churns with heavy drums, tense strings, rumbling voices, and pounding piano, capturing the split second before catastrophe when every instinct screams to act.

“Underground” descends into the cold, winding depths beneath Ardul where dissonant strings, heavy drums, male drones, and brooding piano create deliberate disorientation. “Underground (Alternate Version)” tightens the space to a quieter but more claustrophobic passage lit by a single torch. “To Arms!” unleashes the full symphonic battle, a large-scale conflict with expanded orchestration and dramatic intensity.

The album’s final bard song, “Zarek the Bloody,” introduces a legendary figure whose reputation is both heroic and ominous. With accordion, bass, percussion, and vocals by David Williams, the piece hints at Zarek’s deeds, the cursed blade he wields, and his place in the greater Ardul narrative.

Sounds of Ardul also includes extended ten-minute looping versions of twelve tracks, crafted for worldbuilders, tabletop players, writers, and listeners who want to immerse themselves even further. As the third pillar of CHRONICLER OF ARDUL’s overarching project, this album expands the world’s scope while maintaining musical motifs that connect past works to future stories.

About CHRONICLER OF ARDUL:

CHRONICLER OF ARDUL is the cinematic dark fantasy project created by composer and multi-instrumentalist David Williams, blending orchestral storytelling with the atmosphere and intensity of extreme music. Formed in 2023, the project explores the mythic world of Ardul through three creative pillars: metal, orchestral composition, and written narrative. Every release expands the lore, using recurring motifs, character themes, and emotional worldbuilding to connect albums, stories, and songs into one cohesive universe. Influenced by SHADOW OF INTENT, MENTAL CRUELTY, Nobuo Uematsu, and Yasunori Nishiki, CHRONICLER OF ARDUL approaches concept music with the depth of a novel and the drama of a film score.

The project began as an idea in 2015 and has since grown into a multi-medium saga, starting with the Myrewood EP in 2023 and continuing with Sword of Virné and accompanying short stories. Williams handles all writing, recording, mixing, and artwork, giving the project a distinct voice anchored in emotional honesty and narrative purpose. Every melody is intentional and often foreshadows future events in the overarching story, creating a world that rewards close listening. CHRONICLER OF ARDUL stands as a unique fusion of fantasy, composition, and immersive storytelling, inviting listeners not only to hear the music but to live within the world it creates.

Pittsburgh's LOWSUNDAY presents 'This Is Not Heaven', teasing 'Black EP'

Legacy postpunk-shoegaze outfit Lowsunday unveils 'This Is Not Heaven', the first taste of their forthcoming 'Low Sunday Ghost Machine - Black EP', forthcoming via Projekt Records, the video for which was produced by Jer Herring.

This is the second of two 'duality' releases, presenting the band's first new material since 1999, following their ‘Low Sunday Ghost Machine - White EP'. Showcased by 'Love Language', 'Soft Capture' and the latest single 'Nevver', the 'White EP' ranked second among Post-Punk.com's Best EPs of 2025.

Formed in the mid-1990s in Pittsburgh, Lowsunday (initially known as Low Sunday Ghost Machine) emerged as a "retro-futurist" pioneer, blending darkwave and shoegaze long before the genres saw their modern revival. Their legacy was cemented with their debut album 'Low Sunday Ghost Machine' and the 1999 masterpiece 'Elesgiem', both of which were re-released via Projekt Records over the past 18 months (for their 30th and 25th anniversaries, respectively).

The band dissolved, leaving behind a cult reputation for mercurial sounds and blistering guitar work that set the stage for subsequent generations of alternative artists. Following a nearly 25-year period of inactivity, the band resurfaced as a duo in 2025—consisting of original members Shane Sahene (vocals, guitar, synth, bass, drums) and Bobby Spell (bass, guitar, drums).

"'This is Not Heaven' was the last song we recorded for the Black EP. We really enjoyed injecting the heavy synths on the chorus, the asymmetrical guitar leads and the driving bass line beneath an intricate and melodic rhythm guitar," says Shane Sahene.

"We felt this song captured everything we are about in that it hits the refrains with a shoegaze atmosphere, more electronic choruses and lyrical transparency, much less vague than many of our songs… it touches on many aspects of our sound."

Bobby Spell adds, "This was another really enjoyable song to write. The guitar textures and melody lines create a dark song with uplifting sections. The mood shifts in the choruses giving a feeling of brightness or a way out of melancholy".

Crafting a sound defined by atmosphere, precision, and heartfelt shadow and depths since 1994, Lowsunday is now asserting their presence with a new force. While the 'White EP' explored light and texture, the 'Black EP' is ultimately the 2026 series' darker counterpart and definitive statement.

Plunged into shadow and intensity with layered guitars, tight rhythms, and austere synths amplifying themes of isolation, reverie and introspection, the 'Black EP' distills Lowsunday's vision into a sharper, more potent form — a bold declaration of their enduring artistic power.

As of April 10th, 'This Is Not Heaven' is available from digital platforms such as Spotifyand Apple Music. The 'Low Sunday Ghost Machine - Black EP' will be released on May 15th digitally. The 'White EP' is available now via Bandcamp and the Projekt Records website - the vinyl edition of both EPs are limited to 200 copies. The two anniversary reissue albums, as well as the limited edition 7" of 'Static / Besides', can also be found on these platforms.

STILL THE PROBLEM: MORGAN WALLEN’S 2026 STADIUM TOUR IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY

On the heels of launching his self-curated SiriusXM Channel, Morgan Wallen Radio, with an intimate show at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee last week, Morgan Wallen officially returned to the road last night (April 10), packing U.S. Bank Stadium with a sold-out crowd on night one of his 2026 Still The Problem Tour.

The RIAA’s highest-certified country artist of all time made his entrance flanked by NFL Hall of Famer Jared Allen, as “Broadway Girls” blasted in the background. Prior to the walkout, Theo Von joined Wallen for a cinematic tour-opening video revving up the crowd.

After delving into his current single on Country radio, “Don’t We” followed by One Thing At A Time deep cut “I Wrote The Book,” Wallen took a long pause as he soaked in the cheering audience.

“We took a few months off after tour last year. Whenever I walk out and there’s a welcome like that, I always ask ‘Why did I take so many months off?’ But it’s been good for me, good for my band, good for my team,” Wallen shared. “I feel like we’re ready to do it again this year. I appreciate y’all for being the first night on the Still The Problem Tour. We’re gonna sing quite a few songs tonight. I tried to switch up the setlist a little bit this year – I hope y’all enjoy.”

Wallen sauntered around the stage throughout the night, giving fans the chance to see him regardless of where they were sitting, before walking to stage C in the back of the stadium, where he played an acoustic set of three songs for fans in the back: “Cover Me Up,” “I’m A Little Crazy” and “Wasted On You.”

Joined by guitarists Tyler Tomlinson and Dominic Frost, Wallen introduced them to the crowd before “Cover Me Up,” sharing, “These boys have been with me a long time. We started off playing everything they wanted us to play… There’s pretty much not a venue in the United States that we haven’t played at this point.

“Those days don’t seem that far in the past, and to know that I’m going to walk out into a stadium of people who know all these songs, who believe in these songs, who believe in me – I just want y’all to know how much that means,” he added. “So for the last few years, I’ve been making it a point to look you in the eyes and say thank you. It’s become one of my favorite parts of the show.”

Afterward, support acts Vincent Mason and Gavin Adcock joined Wallen on the main stage for a fiery rendition of his first-ever No. 1 hit, “Up Down,” before Thomas Rhett joined for “Cowgirls.” Overall, Wallen expanded his setlist on opening night to 28 songs, notably bringing back fan-favorites “Chasin’ You” and “7 Summers.”

“I decided to try something different this year and give you guys a song to vote on,” Wallen shared before playing “7 Summers.” “They told me it was kind of a close battle – I expected this song that I’m going to sing to win. This is one of those songs that defined my career and pushed us to the next level, and I appreciate you guys doing that for me.”

Wallen ended the night with an encore of three songs: “Sand In My Boots” performed solo on the piano, followed by his 12x Platinum, 16-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “Last Night” and 13x Platinum “Whiskey Glasses.”

Sponsored by Kawasaki and Monster Energy, and produced by AEG Presents – with the exception of the Tuscaloosa, Ala. show, which is produced by Live Nation – Wallen’s 12-city, 23-date Still The Problem stadium tour will see Wallen playing two nights in most locations, and will include stops at four major college football stadiums: Clemson’s Memorial Stadium, Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Michigan’s Michigan Stadium and one night only at Alabama’s Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, HARDY,  Ella Langley and Thomas Rhett join as direct support, along with Gavin Adcock, Hudson Westbrook, Flatland Cavalry, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Blake Whiten on select stops.

As with previous tours, a portion of every ticket sold will benefit his Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF) — which supports programs for youth in the areas of sports and music. As part of MWF’s Tour Give Back initiative, the foundation has contributed over $1 million worth of instruments to schools in need across U.S. touring cities. George Strait’s Moody Center Return in the Round

In his first show of 2026, George Strait sauntered to Moody’s center stage last night in his signature starched Wranglers and black Resistol hat just after 8:45p, leading more than 15,000 fans through a two-hour, 28-song set singalong in his first night’s set of arena doubles bookending the icon and Country Music Hall of Fame member and recent Kennedy Center Honoree’s seven show season.

Fans weren’t the only ones who dressed up for the occasion. The arena – which Strait opened with Willie Nelson in April 2022 – was decked to the nines in Strait Moody Center signage welcoming “The King of Country” back to the stage for the first time in nearly four years. And Austin didn’t just show up, they came to sway, sing and two-step, taking to the aisles in pairs on “Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind” and shuffling along to “I Just Want To Dance With You.”

“I see we got some cowboys out there tonight, I love it,” Strait gleamed midway through his setlist including so many of the icon’s 60 No. 1 hits. “I love seeing you cowboys out there because you bring the cowgirls with you; this song is for all you cowgirls,” he proclaimed before performing “How ‘Bout Them Cowgirls” from his 2007 album, It Just Comes Natural.

Texas native William Beckmann opened the evening and will return this Saturday, April 11. Additionally, Carter Faith will join George Strait for his return to the Moody Center on May 15 and 16, marking his final shows of the season.

With additional tickets recently released, limited seats remain available for purchase for Strait’s remaining 2026 shows at georgestrait.com

Once To Die Release New Single "Endure" via Mindful Recordings

Southern California band Once To Die released their brand new single “Endure” via Mindful Recordings. The track serves as the second song on The Conquest: Volume 1, the band’s upcoming release and the first chapter in their developing campaign.

"Endure" was formed with the idea of reminding every individual that there is a power inside us all to endure anything in life.  Tragedy and loss are inevitable but the strength inside you is the answer.

From the chaotic depths of Southern California, Once To Die was formed in the spirit of introducing powerful yet rupturing experience. Forcing an untainted memorandum that what we face in this life can be conquered against overwhelming odds.  The path of conquest we leave in our wake is yet a distinction of the hereafter.

With “Endure,” Once To Die begins the next step in their path forward, setting the tone for what’s to come on The Conquest: Volume 1—a release built on resilience, confrontation, and the relentless will to survive.

Descent was captured across two locations: Justin Passamonte tracked guitars, bass, and vocals at Jpass Music, while drums were recorded at Mercinary Studios with Noah Buchanan. The production was a collaborative effort between the band and long-time engineer Zack Ohren, who also handled the mixing and mastering. The result is a muscular, high-fidelity production that captures the band’s most fiery and brooding moments with equal clarity. To call Descent "heavy" or "brutal" is an understatement; this is death metal with a unique, elevated voice that stands entirely alone.

Visually, the band has once again tapped Eliran Kantor to craft a haunting cover masterpiece—a true hallmark of the Immolation aesthetic— complemented by Santiago Jaramillo’s (Triple Seis Design) internal booklet illustrations. With this release, IMMOLATION reinforces their status as one of the most enduring and vital forces in the genre.

UK Progressive Metal Band Rolo Tomassi Release Video For "Tempest"; Select U.S. Dates Announced

UK progressive metal outfit Rolo Tomassi have unveiled a sparse yet striking new video for “Tempest,” a standout track taken from their recently released In The Echoes of All Dreams EP. The EP further expanded Rolo Tomassi’s boundary-pushing sound, weaving together elements of post-hardcore, metal, and ambient experimentation.

In The Echoes of Dreams is now available on limited edition vinyl, offering fans a collectible physical edition. Get it HERE.

The band says, “We're pleased to share the video for ‘Tempest’ alongside the vinyl release of our EPIn The Echoes Of All Dreams. We can't wait to be back out playing some shows this summer and move forward with this new material, having enjoyed our 20th anniversary celebrations in 2025. Hope to see you at a show!"

The band is also playing a handful of dates in the U.S. this summer:

07/25 - Indianapolis, IN - POST Festival
07/26 - Chicago, IL - Beat Kitchen
07/28 - Pittsburgh, PA - Preserving Underground
07/31 - New York, NY - TV Eye

Since their 2005 inception in Sheffield, Rolo Tomassi have evolved from math-core prodigies into one of the UK’s most vital progressive forces. For over two decades, they have defied the rigid boundaries of heavy music, weaving a tapestry of sound that is as intellectually demanding as it is emotionally resonant. Prior to the recent EP InThe Echoes of All Dreams, the band released the full-length album, Where Myth Becomes Memory, which served as the final part in an unintended trilogy that began with 2015’s Grievances and continued with 2018’s Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It

APOSTLE Announces New Single “Illusion of Loss”

APOSTLE unveils their latest single, “Illusion of Loss,” a dynamic and emotionally charged composition that offers a glimpse into the band’s forthcoming full-length album, A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, arriving June 5, 2026 via Terminus Hate City.

“Illusion of Loss” begins with a sharp, brief breath before an angular and moody guitar and bass melody settles over a plodding, swinging half-time drum groove. Murice White's vocal cadence moves fluidly within the arrangement, locking into the rhythm as the song unfolds. A sudden, deliberate drop in intensity introduces an arpeggiated and introspective passage driven by a rolling snare, gradually building toward a release carried by a mid-tempo blast beat.

The track expands in scope as Murice’s tremolo-picked lead cuts through with urgency while his vocals rise in intensity. Michael’s bass provides a steady melodic anchor, shaping the mood beneath shifting textures. A discordant, arpeggiated lead slices through the mix while Evan’s drumming shifts into a driving double bass pattern that pushes the song forward before returning to a reprise of its opening movement. The closing moments feature a distorted spoken sample describing barely livable conditions in a city, extending the song’s thematic reach outward.

“Illusion of Loss” reflects on the fragility of life, the isolation that can accompany grief, and the internal changes that follow. The song draws from the experience of personal loss and the emotional weight that lingers in its wake. It considers how loss reshapes identity, how it brings forward buried parts of oneself, and how memory can guide purpose moving forward. The connection between individual grief and shared human experience remains central throughout.

The album title references Carl Jung’s description of humanity as a “splinter in the infinite deity,” framing the record as an exploration of spiritual duality, grief, and self-examination. Across six tracks and 27 minutes, the band move through themes of loss, mortality, internal conflict, and eventual healing. The record serves as both a meditation on the human condition and a deeply personal tribute shaped by grief and remembrance.

Produced, engineered, and mixed by Connor Ray at Sobek Sound and mastered by Erol Ulug at Bright Lights, A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon presents APOSTLE in their most refined and expansive form.

Their latest album, A Splinter in the Infinite Noumenon, represents the band’s most fully realized work to date. Drawing from existential philosophy and deeply personal experiences with grief and remembrance, the record explores humanity’s connection to something greater while acknowledging the struggle inherent in being human. Across its runtime, APOSTLE seek connection through shared emotional experience, transforming personal suffering into collective release.

Haste The Day conjure the sound of coming full circle. The Indiana-bred band rekindles the spark at the heart of their signature style by sharpening the edges, tightening the melodies, and amplifying the scope with cinematic ambition. Haste The Day have clung to their integrity since initially emerging at the turn of the century. Following Burning Bridges [2004] and When Everything Falls [2005], Stephen made his formal debut as the group's frontman on Pressure The Hinges [2007]. The band unleashed a trio of fan favorite offerings, namely Dreamer [2008], the seminal Attack Of The Wolf King [2010], and Coward [2015]. The latter marked their second straight Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and second Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart. Along the way, they toured with everyone from Hollywood Undead to Norma Jean. Despite going dormant in 2016, they amassed tens of millions of streams and continued to resonate with an ever-expanding audience. As such, their 2023 reunion gig at the sold-out Furnace Fest was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. Returning with their first full-length release in eleven years, the musicians tap into who they were and push forward together on their seventh LP, Dissenter [Solid State].

Stephen Keech — Vocals

ANY GIVEN DAY UNVEIL "HEAL ME TO DEATH" VIDEO

With "Heal Me To Death," Any Given Day deliver one of their most intense and emotionally charged tracks to date — a crushing metalcore anthem that blurs the line between healing and harm. Watch the video Below.

Driven by razor-sharp riffs, thunderous breakdowns, and a haunting melodic undercurrent, the song dives deep into the toxicity of control disguised as care. "Heal Me To Death" explores the suffocating weight of relationships where love becomes manipulation, and salvation turns into destruction. It's a raw confrontation of inner conflict and external pressure — where the promise of being "fixed" comes at the cost of losing yourself.

Lyrically, the band paints a dark and vivid picture: Golden façades hiding inner demons, faith twisted into force, and words that cut deeper than wounds. The recurring line "Pour your cure like poison, watch me bleed" encapsulates the track's core — a powerful metaphor for the danger of imposed healing and the violence of misunderstood intentions.

Balancing aggression with vulnerability, Any Given Day showcase their signature dynamic sound, seamlessly shifting between brutal heaviness and soaring emotional intensity. The result is a track that is as cathartic as it is devastating — a battle cry for autonomy, identity, and the right to break free from toxic salvation.

"Heal Me To Death" isn't just a song — it's a statement: sometimes the most dangerous thing isn't the pain itself, but the people who claim to take it away.

BANK ARCADE DROP VIDEO FOR COMEBACK SINGLE "SEVERANCE"

Arising Empire have never been ones to play it safe—but with their newest signing, they've doubled down on something far more volatile. Enter Banks Arcade and their ferocious new single "Severance": A track that doesn't just blur genre lines — it tears them apart and leaves the pieces smoldering. Watch the video Below:

Built on a collision of punishing metalcore, glitchy electronic textures, and the swagger of modern hip-hop, "Severance" feels less like a song and more like a system overload. It's aggressive, cinematic, and calculated chaos—exactly the kind of statement you'd expect from a band that has never acknowledged the idea of staying in one lane.

And Banks Arcade didn't arrive here by accident. What started as a project between two best friends—shaped by wildly different worlds spanning jazz academia and professional MMA—has evolved into one of the most unpredictable forces in modern heavy music. Their sound reflects that tension: Precision meets violence, control meets collapse.

Over the past few years, the band has carved a path from Southern Hemisphere outsiders to global contenders. They've sold out headline runs across Australia and New Zealand, while stepping onto some of the biggest stages in heavy music, including Download Festival, and touring alongside genre leaders like Northlane, Thornhill, and The Plot in You. Each tour tightened their grip on an international audience that thrives on exactly this kind of forward-thinking aggression.

"Severance" captures that momentum at full speed. There's a maximalist intensity running through the track—industrial electronics colliding with downtuned riffs, hooks that feel like they've been dragged through a rave at 3 am, and a sense that everything could fall apart at any second, but never does. It's controlled destruction.

What makes Banks Arcade hit differently, though, is the intent behind it all. Born out of constant relocation, reinvention, and the kind of struggle that either breaks you or rebuilds you into something sharper, the band operates with a clear purpose: redefine what "heavy" even means in 2026.

With Arising Empire now backing the project, "Severance" isn't just a new single—it's a warning shot. Banks Arcade aren't here to join the scene. They're here to rewire it.

DONT YOU DARE Drop "I Love Misery" Video

Born from the raw concrete of Sacramento, California, DONT YOU DARE (styled without the apostrophe) are a modern rock duo fusing the intensity of nu-metal and metalcore with raw, unfiltered emotion.

Vocalist Noah Duarte, a poet-turned-frontman, joined forces with guitarist Matt English to create a sound that's both therapeutic and confrontational, and the foundation of what would become DONT YOU DARE.

The band shares the video for "I LOVE THE MISERY," because, really, who doesn't? Watch it below.

"'I LOVE THE MISERY' is the darkest song we've written to date. It's the story of isolation and self-destruction. It takes you through every emotion you could think of when you’re on that cliff about to jump, but then you ask 'Why?,'" the band states.

"'I LOVE THE MISERY' is a personal favorite of mine because every night I sing it, it allows me to let go and release those demons from years ago that still linger," shares Duarte. "It's the pause in the set, the moment everyone opens their eyes to DONT YOU DARE. This song helped me heal. It's such an amazing experience to see people who don't even know us feel that as well. It doesn't matter what walk of life you're in, everyone has felt what 'I LOVE THE MISERY' is. 'I wanna wake up' — I came up with that years ago at this point, and to this day the hook still rings true when I'm going through a rough patch. I always tell myself, 'It will never get that bad again and I put one foot in front of the other.' It's an extremely painful and dark song but the underlying message is healing so cry, scream, yell or sing. Let it all out and live in the moment. That's what 'I LOVE THE MISERY' actually is."

DYD's debut single, "S.O.S." saw the band come out swinging, generating strong momentum across streaming platforms and rapid audience growth on social media with their second single, "BLACK & BLUE," continuing that momentum. "DIE4ME" doubled the growth and got the band their debut spot on Sirius XM Octane Test Drive. "I LOVE THE MISERY" takes the emotional intensity that the band is known for, telling a story about isolation and self-destruction.
