Out Today From Melechesh - Sentinels of Shamash

With Sentinels of Shamash, MELECHESH enters a ceremonial descent into ancient law, fire, and cosmic vigilance. This EP does not simply revisit mythological themes. It inhabits them. Rooted in the solar authority of Shamash, god of truth and justice in Mesopotamian cosmology, the record burns with the tension between chaos and sacred order, between ruin and restoration, between mortal defiance and divine decree.

From its opening moments, Sentinels of Shamash unfolds like a sacred inscription carved into stone tablets beneath a bronze sun. The riffs arrive not as decoration but as proclamations. Rhythms move with ritual precision, evoking procession, invocation, and judgment. Each composition feels deliberate, architectural, constructed with the gravity of an ancient temple rising from desert sands. The vocals do not merely narrate. They command, intone, and summon, channeling a presence that watches from above with unwavering clarity.

The conceptual axis of the EP rests on vigilance. Shamash was not only a solar deity but the eternal witness, the eye that sees all deeds beneath daylight. In that spirit, the sentinels of the title stand as guardians of cosmic balance, positioned at the threshold where disorder threatens to consume structure. Across the EP, forgotten gods and fallen kings emerge from shadow, their legacies weighed against the scales of divine law. Fire becomes both destroyer and purifier. Judgment becomes both terror and restoration.

MELECHESH has long forged a sound that binds ancient Near Eastern mythology with extreme metal intensity, and here that fusion feels sharpened and distilled. Middle Eastern melodic inflections weave through commanding, down tuned riff architecture. The percussion carries a ritualistic cadence that feels older than the genre itself. The sonic landscape suggests wind across temple ruins, bronze weapons glinting in sunlight, and inscriptions etched in cuneiform that speak of decree and consequence. The band does not modernize myth for convenience. Instead, it allows myth to remain vast, severe, and unyielding.

What makes Sentinels of Shamash resonate is its refusal to treat antiquity as ornament. The EP positions ancient law as a living force, a reminder that civilizations rise and fall under the gaze of forces greater than themselves. In a world that often feels untethered from order, these songs confront the listener with the weight of accountability and the inevitability of reckoning. Yet within that severity lies restoration. Balance is not static but earned through trial, fire, and endurance.

Sentinels of Shamash stands as a mythological statement shaped in flame and discipline. It is a work of vigilance, a declaration that truth remains luminous even in eras of shadow. The sentinels do not sleep. The sun does not close its eye. And through relentless sonic force, MELECHESH reminds us that judgment is eternal, and order, though challenged, will rise again in fire.

MELECHESH’s influence extends beyond sound. By integrating ancient Mesopotamian history, Sumerian mythology, and occult symbolism into extreme metal, the band opened new conceptual territory within the genre. Their work has been cited as a catalyst for broader acceptance of culturally rooted themes in metal, inspiring artists worldwide to explore their own heritage through heavy music. Critics and peers consistently acknowledge the band’s originality, discipline, and longevity.

In recent years, MELECHESH has continued to operate with creative independence and a global perspective. The Sentinels of Shamash era reflects a renewed focus on intensity and atmosphere, capturing the band’s enduring fire and refined songwriting approach. Their current performances draw from the full depth of their catalog, presenting both classic material and newer compositions with equal force.

As of 2026, MELECHESH remains a powerful and evolving entity within extreme metal. With over thirty years of artistic dedication, the band continues to embody a borderless spirit and a commitment to innovation. Their music stands as a bridge between ancient civilizations and contemporary extremity, forged through discipline, vision, and unwavering creative resolve.

UADA Streams New Acoustic Album 'Interwoven' Ahead of Physical Release, Kicks Off North American Tour

As promised, enigmatic black metal horde UADA is now streaming its new acoustic album 'Interwoven' in its entirety below!

While the original April 10 release date is still being honored digitally, the physical copies will not be shipped until late May due to delays at the manufacturing plant. The album represents an acoustic journey tracing one song from each chapter of UADA's discography as well as various covers from the bands who've inspired them. 'Interwoven' will be released via Eisenwald and physical copies can be pre-ordered HERE.

In addition, UADA is now hitting the road! The band has joined forces with industrial metal artist MORTIIS for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME and WRAITH KNIGHT. UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special CERMONIAL CASTINGS 30-year anniversary set featuring Wraith Knight. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair. The tour kicks off tonight, April 10, in UADA's hometown of Portland, OR. The full itinerary can be found below while tickets are now available HERE.

UADA is also celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their debut album, 'Devoid of Light,' with a special reissue! Originally released in 2016, 'Devoid of Light' remains a remarkably focused debut - just five tracks, a little over thirty minutes - and yet a fully formed statement. The 'Devoid of Light (10th Anniversary Edition)' returns in an expanded form. Remastered by Arthur Rizk, who previously handled mixing and mastering for UADA's sophomore album 'Cult of a Dying Sun' and mastering for the acoustic album 'Interwoven,' the material gains depth without losing the character of the original recordings. This edition also includes previously unseen photography by Peter Beste, alongside rare archival material, expanded liner notes, and an exclusive bonus track. It will be released on July 17, 2026 via Eisenwald in CD format and 3 vinyl color variations; it is now available for pre-orders HERE.

Moreover, after much demand from fans, UADA will be returning to Milwaukee Metal Fest for the second time since leaving their mark during the 2024 edition. The festival will take place at The Rave/Eagle's Club from June 4 - 7, with UADA performing on the 7th. More info and tickets can be found HERE.

New Southwest Contender in Alternative Rock, LES PALMS Releases Debut Single ‘Second Chance’

New Southwest contender in alternative rock, LES PALMS, releases debut single “Second Chance”. This track is a refreshing take on late 90s/early 2000s indie rock with a pop-punk punch. The lyrics preach a relatable human element, how in even the worst situations everyone deserves a second chance. The single was produced in Las Vegas, NV under Chris Collier

The group’s founder and guitarist Sean Fitz is the bassist for the RIAA Gold Certified American

hard rock band OTHERWISE. Seth Laurent(frontman) and Volkan Tonga (bass) are both

founding members of the high-energy Las Vegas band theguiltyparty. The trio met through

shows with each other's respective bands and bonded over writing music.

Sean Fitz on the single:

“‘Second Chance’ was originally written for my solo project, but once I heard Seth’s version of

the song, I knew we had something I wanted to run with. Flash forward four months, and Les

Palms is more than just an idea.”

Seth Laurent behind the lyrics of

“Second Chance”:

“‘Second Chance’ is very personal to me. Not being adequate enough for someone due to a

drinking problem is not a fictional tale in my life.”

Seth Laurent on recording with Chris Collier:

“Working with Chris Collier was one of the best experiences I’ve had making music. He let me

work through as many takes necessary, giving the track performance room to shine. “

The track will be available everywhere from Apple Music to Spotify, and even your local Touch Tunes on April 10, 2026. You can find more information on the band at their website lespalms.com

ATREYU Unleashes New Single "Children Of Light" Featuring Max Cavalera + Visualizer

Today, while gearing up for their spring tour supporting Sevendust, ATREYU are excited to unleash their new single, "Children Of Light," featuring the legendary Max Cavalera. The new track is taken from ATREYU's upcoming album, 'The End is Not the End,' set for release on April 24, 2026 via Spinefarm.

On the new single, ATREYU comments:

"'Children of Light' was created with a primal spirit in mind. A 'festival' song. Heavily inspired by classic Sepultura, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved. We’re honored to share this song with a legend."

Watch the Visualizer for "Children Of Light" Below:

‘The End is Not the End' is undeniably ATREYU’s heaviest album ever and their most adventurous. “We realized what made ATREYU great in the beginning was that we didn’t sound like anyone else,” frontman Brandon Saller explains. “We didn’t really make sense anywhere. We weren’t an emo band, a metal band, a punk band — but somehow it all worked. We kind of just carved our own path.”

Guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist Porter McKnight, drummer Kyle Rosa, and Saller created several of 'The End is Not the End'’s songs on creative trips.

“Tokyo made us feel like kids again,” Saller says. “We’d write for a few hours in the morning, then go out and get lost in all this inspiration. The first song we finished was ‘Dead,’ and we knew we were onto something.”

After the Japanese sessions, the band and their producer decamped to San Juan Island off the coast of Washington, where isolation became a creative accelerant. “It was the polar opposite of Tokyo. We didn’t leave the house for four days and wrote some of the heaviest songs on the record.”

The result is an album that feels simultaneously classic and unfamiliar, aggressive and unselfconscious, deeply emotional and unconcerned with trends. Produced by Matt Pauling, ATREYU’s tenth album is vibrant, inventive, and beautifully aggressive.

“It’s our heaviest, most metal record we’ve made,” Saller points out. “But it’s also the biggest musical journey we’ve taken in years.”

The album moves seamlessly from soaring melodic heft to muscular metallic weight, with cinematic shades and atmosphere, all tied together by a driving, raw intensity. Tracks like “Dead,” “Ghost in Me,” “Children of Light (featuring Max Cavalera),” and “Afterglow”sound both timely and timeless.

Yellowcard Recharge Their Hit Single "Bedroom Posters" With New Version Feat. Blippi

Continuing what has become the most unexpected and awesome collaboration of 2026, multi-platinum pop-punk royalty Yellowcard have joined forces with global children's education sensation Blippi to recharge and revamp their buzzing hit "Bedroom Posters" with a brand new duet version, out now via Better Noise. It's Yellowcard and Blippi's second track together, following "Go Go Go," and third recording of "Bedroom Posters."

Listen to "Bedroom Posters" (Feat. Blippi) here and watch the video below

This iteration of the track maintains the energy of the original, yet Blippi brings his own magic to the party. He has retrofitted the tune with a fresh and family-friendly perspective, flipping lyrics like "Tear down my bedroom posters" to "Look at my bedroom posters" and soaring with the band on a sky-high chant of "Airplanes and rollercoasters." Together, they also excitedly continue the "Year of Vehicles," extending the celebration of the vehicles kids dig the most — from race cars and monster trucks to excavators and everything in between.

It's the ultimate pop-punk anthem for the kids and mom and dad!

About the track, Yellowcard's Ryan Key said, "My favorite part about this process was handing over an instrumental version of 'Bedroom Posters' to the Blippi team and letting them completely re-write the lyrics. I had the idea that this feature could be perfect because of the concept of posters on kids' walls. I think they nailed it and this is hopefully going to inspire a generation of new little rockers!

Regarding the accompanying video, he states, "It was so fun to make. I think it pushed us all out of our comfort zones a little, and at this stage of our career, that usually leads to an amazing outcome. For me, as a first-time dad of a 2-year-old who is already showing signs of being very musical, I think this is going to be a really special way for him to connect with my music and see me doing what I love. I hope that energy is what other parents find when they are watching and listening to this with their kids."

Blippi said, "Music is one of my favorite ways to play and collaborate, so teaming up with my friends in Yellowcard was a blast! We turned 'Bedroom Posters' into a version that kids and families can sing, dance, and laugh along with. I can't wait for everyone to hear it!"

As mentioned, "Bedroom Posters" follows hot on the heels of Yellowcard's appearance on Blippi's "Go Go Go." The collab caught the attention of Billboard, praising how the track "introduces pop-punk to a new generation just in time for Yellowcard's comeback."

Yellowcard's "Bedroom Posters" has quietly emerged as a staple with millions of streams and views as well being the current radio single featuring Good Charlotte; it's landed at No. 5 on the Alternative Radio Charts. Beyond looks from Alternative Press Magazine, Rock Sound, and more, Consequence applauded how "the song finds Yellowcard singer Ryan Key trading vocals with Good Charlotte’sJoel Madden," while Rolling Stone put it best, "It’s the collaboration made in pop-punk dreams."

Meanwhile, Yellowcard are set to embark on their eagerly awaited headline run, "Up Up Down Down Tour," across the US. The stacked bill features special guests New Found Glory and Plain White T's. This run kicks on May 6 at Atlanta's Coca-Cola Roxy, visits major cities such as Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Nashville, and New York, and concludes on June 17 at Boston's Leader Bank Pavilion.

Jamey & Brittney Johnson's Give It Away Fund Awards 11 Grants

Jamey and Brittney Johnson’s Give It Away Fund has made eleven grants so far in 2026, focusing on children in need but also helping several other organizations as well.

The fund’s name came from the 2006 George Strait No. 1 hit, “Give It Away,” which Jamey co-wrote with Bill Anderson and Buddy Cannon. The song won Song of the Year at both the Country Music Association Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Johnson donates a dollar for every ticket sold at participating shows to his fund. In addition, he donates all proceeds from the sale of a special T-shirt to his fund. It is available at his shows and online HERE.

The couple chose organizations whose missions spoke to their hearts. For instance, Brittney is a highly respected lawyer from Mississippi, so one of the organizations selected was the Hancock School District in Mississippi. Give It Away’s donation cleared the district’s meal debt for 550 school kids in the six schools in the district in which Brittney attended. This donation made a tremendous impact in this low-income area.

"I grew up in the Hancock County School District, and I'm so proud to give back to my home community in this way,” Brittney says. “My goal was to remove this financial weight from hardworking parents and free students from any pressure they might feel when entering the cafeteria each day. I want the kids to focus on learning and just being kids!"

Four other grants went to non-profits that help children:

  • First Friday Kids Support Group:  This Polk County, FL, organization provides weekend backpacks of food for kids throughout the school year.

  • The Charley Foundation: Through Rumble on the Row events, this Nashville organization supports charities for kids with critical needs.

  • Lizana Youth Association: This Pas Christian, MS, organization provides sports programs to children in a low-income community.

  • Wichita’s Littlest Heroes: This Kansas-based organization provides support to children with life-threatening medical conditions and to their families.

"As founders of the Give It Away Foundation, my husband and I are dedicated to the belief that every child deserves to feel supported, valued, and cared for,” Brittney says. “Part of our mission this year is to support and partner with groups that serve children and create stronger foundations for kids to thrive. It was an easy decision to support these four organizations because they directly and meaningfully impact children's lives on an ongoing basis."

The couple, who own four dogs, also made three grants to organizations that help animals:

  • Mane Mission: This Tennessee organization rescues and rehabilitates horses that are then utilized for equine therapy for veterans.

  • Nashville Pittie: This small rescue/rehab for pit bulls saves about 50 dogs annually.

  • Animal Rescue Corp: This Tennessee organization conducts large-scale emergency rescues of animals who fall victim to abuse and disaster. With law-enforcement officers, they do large puppy mill intakes and hold the dogs throughout the court process.

"Through our foundation and generous donors, we had the honor of supporting two animal nonprofit organizations and a large-scale animal rescue,” Brittney says. “Animals–especially dogs–hold a special place in my heart, and I am deeply passionate about supporting organizations that rescue, protect, and care for them.

"We were proud this year to support a local organization that provides equine therapy, as it combines two causes I care deeply about: supporting veterans and promoting animal-assisted therapy.

"Supporting a nonprofit like Nashville Pittie has been so meaningful and personal, because Jamey and I are passionate advocates of the breed and proud owners of two precious pitties ourselves."

The fund also awarded grants to:

  • The Stepping Stone Shelter: This shelter supports homeless in 20 counties in Southwest Kansas.

  • Heart of the Motor documentary through Donate Life Kentucky Trust: This grant supports the films screenings that bring awareness and organ donor registration at its events.

  • Nikki Mitchell Foundation: This Nashville organization, which Jamey co-founded in 2013, provides comfort and relief to those affected by pancreatic cancer, while raising awareness and searching for a cure. The grant’s funds were specified to help a 31-year-old mother of a 5-year-old who has Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Living with no furniture and only a mattress on the floor, her son had to move to the floor when she started toxic chemotherapy. Since her car had been under the threat of repossession, she had been hiding it after driving two hours to treatment. She kept her son out of school for special days because she couldn’t afford to purchase the items for special “dress up” days, like Dr. Seuss Day. NMF is facilitating taking care of her needs with this donation.

“Supporting this patient and her family during such a difficult time is a perfect example of why my husband and I started the Give It Away Foundation: to step in when it matters most, because we believe that no one should face life's hardest moments alone. We were proud to partner with the Nikki Mitchell Foundation in this effort.”

Jamey is known for being among the first to help in times of need, whether it’s performing in a charity concert, making calls or donating money. He is also known for his support of the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, which he co-founded in 2013 to help those who have pancreatic cancer. The Marine also works with Toys for Tots and other organizations that help veterans, military members and their families.

Brittney was focused on helping others around the world years before she became an attorney. She taught in a school for women in Kenya, volunteered in an orphanage in Nairobi and participated in activism in a politically displaced persons camp in Kenya.

While attending the University of Mississippi School of Law, she was student coordinator of the school’s Pro Bono Initiative. While living in Mississippi, she was a member of the Junior League of Jackson. She also worked with therapy animals and helped provide hygiene services to the unhoused.

Now married and living in Nashville, the couple have unified their philanthropic hearts into one generous effort to create Give It Away so that they may continue stronger what they began apart.

Miranda Lambert Lands 8: Artist, Writer and Producer ACM Noms

Multihyphenate superstar Miranda Lambert, the most-decorated artist in Academy of Country Music history, earned eight nominations for the upcoming 61st ACM Awards, the second highest tally of any artist.

“Honored to wake up and be among the most nominated for the ACM Awards,” Lambert shares. “It’s always special to be recognized and it’s even better when it’s alongside friends and heroes.”

She received her 18th nomination for Female Artist of the Year as well as her ninth nomination for Song of the Year and 16th total nomination (including Artist and Songwriter credits) in the category.

“You’d have to look pretty far and wide to find anyone in music who has been as consistently good or eternally enjoyable as Miranda Lambert,” remarks Rolling Stone. “Almost 20 years into her run, she’s defined her career by always going her own way, both musically and lyrically.”

In addition to her own artistry, Lambert is also nominated for her work as both a songwriter and a producer, demonstrating her ongoing impact across the genre. “Choosin’ Texas,” the record-setting hit recorded by Ella Langley, earns nods for Lambert in both the Song and Single of the Year categories as the track’s co-writer and producer.

“Miranda held down women in country on a mainstream level for a decade and change; this is as much a win for her legacy as it is for Ella’s still-growing stardom,” shares Billboard of the song, continuing, “while she continues to make music of her own – she was nominated for a GRAMMY this year – she definitely seems to be thriving behind the scenes, including co-running Big Loud Texas. This is validation for her influence, her talent and underrated ability as a songwriter.”

Additionally, Lambert is honored for her “A Song to Sing” duet with longtime friend and collaborator Chris Stapleton, earning nods in the Song, Music Event and Visual Media of the Year categories for their co-write.

“At a time when country is so many things, Lambert and Stapleton seem both a true north and a hinge for the future of the same Outlaw culture Waylon and Willie conjured,” notes POLLSTAR. “Musically robust, they want to make actual country music with their roots firmly planted, but with the ability to create on their terms. It’s not fighting Music Row as much as fighting for greatness.”

Fittingly for year where four women lead the nomination counts, Lambert also earned a Music Event of the Year nod for her female-empowered collaboration with Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson, “Trailblazer.”

“Wilson is just about inarguably the best thing to happen to country music since Miranda Lambert, who in turn was one of the best things to happen since Reba. So it felt intuitively natural – but by no means commercially inevitable – when those three teamed up,” declares Variety of the song praised by Music Row as “an utterly historic collaboration among three generations of female country excellence.”

The 61st ACM Awards will stream live exclusively for a global audience across 240+ countries and territories on Prime Video on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT from the world-renowned MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fans will also be able to watch the broadcast on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, as well as in the Amazon Music app.

Swedish Rock Band MARYLANE Release New Single "Doreen" + Music Video

Following the successful release of their debut album Winners Write History in 2024, Swedish female-fronted rock newcomers MARYLANE return with their gripping new single “Doreen,” accompanied by an official music video. The track serves as the first video single from the band’s upcoming studio album, due out later this year.

With “Doreen,” MARYLANE continues to evolve—pushing beyond their earlier pop rock roots and stepping boldly into a darker, heavier, and more intense sound. The song captures the band’s growing identity as one of Sweden’s most exciting rising rock acts.

The music video for “Doreen” was created by renowned director Patric Ullaeus (Delain, Amaranthe, Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Lacuna Coil), marking the band’s first collaboration with the celebrated producer.

“Doreen” is a powerful message of empowerment and resilience, and a reminder to always trust your heart.

All songs on the forthcoming album were written by MARYLANE and mixed and mastered by Andy La Rocque at Sonic Train Studios.

As MARYLANE gears up for their next chapter, “Doreen” sets the tone for what’s ahead—heavier, bolder, and more fearless than ever.

WATCH MARYLANE - "Doreen" Official Music Video Below:

Once upon a time, nestled in a corner of the bustling city, there existed a magnificent amusement park named Marylane, which was operated by Marymaker the Clown. He was perceived by the public as both terrifying and captivating, and there were rumors that he possessed the ability to attract both light and darkness simultaneously, as if he were a master of duality. During the park's prime, one could hear the excited cheers of visitors from afar and the sound of carousels roaring under the summer sun. However, as the years went by, fewer and fewer people found the time to visit the amusement park, leaving Marymaker with a deep sense of abandonment.

The very thing that he had once been so passionate about now seemed to wither away and rely solely on artificial respiration. Filled with desperation, Marymaker embarked on a journey to find himself, only to encounter chaos and despair at every turn. One evening, while lost in his own thoughts, Marymaker overheard a group of people gathering on the Tivoli stage to compose music. There was one particular melody that caught his attention, as it exuded both sadness and hope. Intrigued, he felt compelled to venture out and discover the source of this captivating music. Could it be that the songs were about him?

Marylane is a swedish rockband formed in 2023 and draws inspiration from vintage sounds infusing them with a modern intimate touch. With their music they delve into the depths of the human experience exploring the paradoxial and existential questions that haunt our minds. Their sound is a harmonious blend of captivating melodies, groovy rythms, ephic choruses and introspective lyrics.

The single cover is painted by Annika Borglund.

Impure Wilhelmina Release New Single "Blanche réalité"

With "Blanche réalité," post-hardcore vets IMPURE WILHELMINA offer the second glimpse into Le sanglot, their upcoming new album and first entirely in French.

"Blanche réalité" (White Reality) maps a state of persistent, low-grade alienation: a person going through the motions of daily existence, disoriented at the center of a world from which all warmth has been subtracted. The song finds its biographical root in a winter hike Impure Wilhelmina vocalist and guitarist Michael Schindl took, during which he nearly lost himself in the fog. That real, physical experience of erasure sits at the core of the song's emotional logic, grounding an otherwise interior state in something concrete and felt.

Watch the official music video for "Blanche réalité" Below:

Le Sanglot comes out May 22, 2026 on Season of Mist

The video for "Blanche réalité" extends the song's territory rather than illustrating it. Shot entirely on location in fog-bound natural landscapes with no band performance, the video follows a solitary figure moving through mist-consumed fields and bare woodland without ever arriving anywhere. The palette is almost entirely de-saturated, with animals functioning as the visual counterpart to the lyrics: present, unreachable, moving through the fog with a purposefulness the human figure lacks. Only in the final seconds does color return, a handful of amber leaves around water, an image that offers no clear resolution.

DOKKEN'S ERASE THE SLATE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME ON 180G VINYL IN THE UNITED STATES

Dokken, formed in Los Angeles in 1978, had several hit singles which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, such as "Alone Again", "In My Dreams", and "Burning Like a Flame", and has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. The classic Dokken line-up consisted of founder Don Dokken on vocals, George Lynch on lead guitar, Mick Brown on drums and Jeff Pilson on bass.

Released in 1999, Erase the Slate had marked a fresh chapter for Dokken, introducing Reb Beach (best known for Winger and later Whitesnake) as the band’s lead guitarist. Erase the Slate blends Dokken’s classic melodic metal roots with a more modern, late-'90s hard rock edge. Reb Beach brought a technically sharp yet fluid guitar style that differed from the flashier, more aggressive approach of former guitarist George Lynch. His playing added a polished, groove-oriented feel while still delivering strong solos and riffs,

Now it is available through Deko Entertainment for the first time in the United States on 180g vinyl. Completely remastered, repackaged, and limited to only 500 copies of each variation including a beautiful Green Smoke and classic Black. CONJURER REVEAL NEW LIVE VIDEO 'THE SEARING GLOW'

British metal heavy weights CONJURER have unveiled a new live video for 'The Searing Glow', recorded at their sold-out November 2025 London headline show at The Underworld.

Watch Below:

The band comment: "Headlining, let alone selling out, The Underworld was one of the last milestones we had left for this band. From seeing Yob level the place on September 8th 2014 and deciding that night that we had to make this band happen, it's been a long time coming. Naturally, we'd want to document the occasion so we enlisted our trusty videographer Joe Guppy to get some multicam footage and here it is: 'The Searing Glow', from our album Unself, live at The Underworld, London."

CONJURER have evolved radically since the release of their debut album (Mire, 2018), and their second release (Páthos, 2022) saw them lauded among the most exciting British metal bands. Whilst award nominations and accolades accumulated, the four-piece band retained their very simple mission: to make heavy music and have fun whilst doing so. Preferring to use their spotlight to showcase technicality and musicality rather than centring politics or opinions, CONJURER lived in the moment and embraced everything that came their way.

Within the tumult of forging a renewed identity as a band, on Unself there is a more intense, more personal voyage of discovery unfurling for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale. Diagnosed with autism at age 31, their long-held view of self, and perception of their place in the world began to unravel. Unself documents much of the piecing back together around the diagnosis, alongside the realisation they were non-binary.

These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us - and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.

Within Unself's nine tracks, CONJURER deliver the writhing post-metal sound they’ve become known for, but have loosened their grip on the desire to fill every moment with sonic obliteration. Instead, they have leaned into utilising space, gifting listeners a little breathing room which serves to make the heavy elements feel all the more intense.

A more direct, organic approach to songwriting was facilitated by the ever-strengthening bonds within the band, and the supportive environment created by producer Joe Clayton. Allowing themselves more time than with any previous recording experience, they committed to preproduction sessions, followed by an elongated recording period in order to do justice to the material they had crafted. Stripping back the excesses of previous outings to reveal their solid songwriting chops allowed for more clarity and more dynamics to shine through. To their ears, the mood, the core of the lyrical content and the music are more aligned than ever before.

This record is the sound of four individuals living with more purpose and as a consequence creating with more purpose. Unself sees them reaching out to offer community, catharsis and connection. CONJURER remain true to their original mission - they’re still having fun, playing interesting heavy music - but now that music is imbued with the power that comes from opening themselves up to others, at first within the band, and now beyond.

Graphic Nature Announce Century Media Signing And Release New Single "Faceless" And Official Music Video

London quartet Graphic Nature have returned with new single, "Faceless", a feral slab of nu-metalcore, digging into identity, pressure and the urge to strip everything back. It leans into that raw, cathartic side of the band while keeping things direct and grounded. The release, the band’s first for new label home Century Media, lands just ahead of their one-off London headline show on April 30th. "Faceless" is a track to sit with when things feel a bit too real, or simply just to play loud and get out of your head for a minute.

'Faceless' is the beginning of the new era of Graphic Nature,” states frontman Harvey Freeman. “We spent a lot of time working on what we wanted to get out of the new sound, our collective influences helped pave the way for what we've created. We are pleased to announce this single will be released via our new record label Century Media.

Graphic Nature are fast becoming one of the most uncompromising voices in modern heavy music, fusing the grit of nu-metal with the weight and precision of contemporary metalcore. Since emerging with their debut album ‘A Mind Waiting To Die’ (2023) and its follow-up, ‘Who Are You When No One Is Watching?’ a year later, the band have built a reputation for crafting visceral, groove-driven tracks that channel frustration, identity and the pressure of modern life into something raw and immediate.

With a growing live presence and a string of increasingly confident releases behind them, Graphic Nature are stepping into their next chapter with purpose. Leaning further into heavier textures and sharper conceptual ideas, the band continue to refine a sound that feels both familiar and forward-thinking, positioning themselves as one of the UK’s most vital and confrontational new heavy acts. Brazilian Rockers ELECTRIC MOB Share New Live Version of "4 letters" + Official Video

Brazilian rock trio ELECTRIC MOB are proud to share the new live version of "4 letters," taken from the upcoming digital deluxe edition of their sophomore album '2 Make U Cry & Dance,' set for release on July 10th via Frontiers Music Srl. The digital deluxe edition will feature the full studio release alongside six live tracks performed at Capital Moto Week 2024.

On the live version of "4 letters," the band shares:

"It’s a deep honest declaration of the reality of love. For someone, something or simply yourself. We often downplay or trivialize feelings like it’s nothing, and '4 letters' is a wake up call to love and to mean it."

Watch the Live Performance Video for "4 letters" Below:

Without hiding their classic rock influences and driven by a modern, restless vision, ELECTRIC MOB are unafraid to break away from clichés and push rock fans beyond their comfort zone.

Hailing from Curitiba, Brazil, the band burst onto the scene like a mad dog on the loose with their debut album 'DISCHARGE' (2020). Raw, unapologetic, and emotionally charged, the record broke through borders, surprising international audiences and carving out space on rock radio stations throughout the United States and Europe.

In January 2023, the band released their second album, '2 MAKE U CRY & DANCE,' earning positive reviews across multiple countries. This was followed by a Brazilian headlining tour through 12 cities in six different states. The momentum continued as ELECTRIC MOB joined forces with Project 46 for a nationwide run that expanded into Brazil’s Northeast.

Their live streak carried into 2024 and 2025 with a strong presence at major festivals, including Summer Breeze Brasil, now known as Bangers Open Air, where Billboard Brasil cited the band as “one of the most praised performances of the event.” Additional highlights include a main stage appearance at Capital Moto Week, which resulted in the live recording 'Live @ Capital Moto Week,' and performances at Porão do Rock (DF), Mundial Rock (SC), SBO Rock Fest (SP), and HackTown (MG).

On the upcoming deluxe release, vocalist Renan Zonta comments:

"We’re thrilled to release this super special edition of something we’re very proud of. The DLX version of our second album '2 Make U Cry & Dance' comes with kickass live and raw cuts, and it’s here to re-insure the power inside this beautiful cake. Give it an extra spin while we’re cooking a new one ⚡️😈"

Guitarist Ben Hur adds:

"We’ve always considered ourselves a band forged on stage. That’s where everything truly comes to life. In this deluxe release of our second album, we’re capturing a part of that energy and sharing it with fans who haven’t yet had the chance to experience it with us in person."

HEY THANKS. RETURN WITH SOPHOMORE ALBUM AVOIDANCE ALBUM ARRIVES JULY 3 VIA IODINE RECORDINGS BAND SHARES "RECOLLECTION"

hey thanks. have returned — and with a darker, more deliberate sound.

Blending post-punk and new wave influences, their sophomore full-length, Avoidance, reflects on time, identity, and the weight of isolation.

The album will arrive July 3 via Iodine Recordings. Pre-order or pre-save it here.

Today, the band shares the moody, new wave and '80s-influenced single "Recollection." Listen Below":

"Lyrically, this song is an expression of trying to understand the difference between love and desire," says singer Travis Opal. "The feeling of fulfillment that certain social and romantic relationships can give a person, etching them into feeling a sense of community and/or belonging. But trying to understand where that intent comes from within."

As for the song itself, Opal shares, "The production was created using a lot of the live drum samples we made and fiddling with live percussion and guitar performances. Blending that in with a wide array of synth landscapes that we recorded in our home studio."

Overall, Avoidance finds hey thanks. stepping back from trying to explain everything and sitting in the uncertainty instead.

Across these songs, nothing fully resolves. Moments repeat, thoughts loop, and meaning stays just out of reach. It lives in that in-between space, caught between experience and understanding.

As mentioned by Opal, Avoidance was recorded in their home studio. The album took shape piece by piece using live drum samples, layered percussion, guitar performances, and dense synth work, giving Avoidance its character. The band allowed the songs to unfold naturally, arriving somewhere more honest in the process.

Built on synth layers, live percussion, and bright, driving rhythms, the songs move with a steady pulse while never fully settling. There is a constant push and pull throughout, something that feels light on the surface but carries weight underneath.

Rather than offering clarity, Avoidance stays with the questions.

HEY THANKS. ARE:
Travis Opal — Vocals
Jaron Dufrene — Guitar
Trevor Lee — Drums

Ho99o9 Release New Video for "Ok, I'm Reloaded"; EU/UK Summer Tour Announced

Ho99o9 continue their Tomorrow We Escape era with the release of another epic music video, this time for "OK, I’m Reloaded." The duo say, “We wanted to make a video for one of the meanest and unapologetic songs on the album, with the track paying homage to the movie Carlito’s Way & JAŸ-Z’s early albums. IYKYK.”

Having brought their incendiary live show back to the UK & Europe at the start of 2026, Ho99o9 have announced a second leg of their Tomorrow We Escape tour with a string of further dates this summer, around their already-announced and sure-to-be-epic festival appearances. See below for details; Tickets on sale now. For a taster of what’s in store, check out last year’s K! Pit performance.

Tomorrow We Escape, Ho99o9’s third album, was released recently via 999 Deathkult / Last Gang.  A true amalgamation of all the band’s influences—experimental hip-hop, digital hardcore, future-facing punk, metal, jarring industrial, and off-kilter electronics—the album is their most emotional offering to date, rooted in personal struggle and triumph. It exemplifies the outfit’s collaborative spirit, featuring Nova Twins, Chelsea Wolfe, Greg Puciato, MoRuf, Pink Siifu, and more. Trayer Tryon of avant darlings Hundred Waters (and with prod on recent breakthroughs - The Hellp, Sam Austins, 2Hollis, Alto Arc……) mixes and masters the album, further refining a new sonic landscape, harnessing the very best of the chaos that fans have come to know and love, with a fresh injection of new found melodies, space, and crystalline production.

The New Jersey-bred outfit made its way to Los Angeles over a decade ago. Surging and seething just below the surface, the pair broke through as an apocalyptically fascinating outlier with their 2017 full-length debut, United States of Horror. In the meantime, their infamous live shows became the stuff of legend as they packed houses on their own and shared stages with everyone from Slipknot, Korn, Alice in Chains, Rob Zombie, Ministry, and The Dillinger Escape Plan to Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Cypress Hill, and Ghostface Killah. Earning the respect of an elite cohort of peers, popular collaborations placed them toe-to-toe with Corey Taylor of Slipknot, The Prodigy, JPEGMAFIA, Ghostemane, HEALTH, 3TEETH, and N8NOFACE, to name a few. Jack Black made an appearance in their KULT CABLE series while they guested on The Eric Andre Show. They’ve received further acclaim from The New York Times, NME, The Guardian, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, The FADER, Revolver, and more. They stand out as the rare phenomenon that can decimate Hellfest and Aftershock Festival and captivate on A COLORS SHOW.

CRIMSON GLORY Release New Track “Beyond The Unknown” from the Upcoming Album “Chasing The Hydra”

Crimson Glory recently announced their brand new album “Chasing The Hydra”, the first new album in 26 years. The album will be released worldwide on all digital services, CD and vinyl on April 17th via BraveWords Records. The early reviews have been incredible and today the band releases a new track to YouTube for the fans… “Beyond The Unknown”

“Encapsulated, “Beyond The Unknown” was inspired by the thought of being comfortable with not knowing the answers to questions that pertain to the cosmos, our origins, our purpose, etc., and in some cases, even being apathetic towards it. Since the dawn of time, man has never been comfortable with not knowing things, and many times he has settled for not only unsatisfactory answers, but answers that are provably wrong. Whatever we fill in the gaps with, there will always be things we don't know, and may never know. So, we could say that there will always be things beyond the unknown.”

Swedish Gothic Doom Entity DRACONIAN Drop "Misantrophe River" Video

Swedish gothic doom metal entity DRACONIAN reveal their new single, "Misantrophe River," the second offering cut from their upcoming full-length, In Somnolent Ruin, to be released on May 8 via Napalm Records. "Misantrophe River" confronts listeners in true DRACONIAN fashion with life's hardest questions, exploring feelings of alienation when swimming against the stream, and the search for direction in unfamiliar territory.

The undisputed leaders of the second wave of gothic doom metal are finally back — and they return in better shape than ever! In Somnolent Ruin promises to be one of the most personal records in DRACONIAN's discography, revealed through a dream-like journey across 9 tracks and the poetic lyricism of vocalist Anders Jacobsson. The new album also marks the return of long-time vocalist Lisa Johansson — the band's vocalist for their first five records.

Ander Jacobsson about the new single:
"'Misanthrope River' was the first song written for this album. The initial idea goes back to the early days of Under a Godless Veil, but it remained dormant until work on this record began. It's an emotional gothic doom track- fairly minimalist, yet expansive in feel, with subtle touches that hint at post-metal and give the atmosphere a broader sense of depth. There's a suggestion of something ancient and mysterious running through it. Although interactive, at its core, the song deals with separation and isolation in a world where the larger truth has been kept from you and how those feelings slowly turn into resentment. You're pushing against the current wading upstream while doubting the way forward. In that struggle you'll be grasping at straws for any sense of peace while unintentionally shutting out the one closest to you. Shot in the Faroe Islands, the video places its actors within vast, striking landscapes. It was directed by Gaui H., the same director behind 'Cold Heavens.'"

Pre-Order Your Copy of In Somnolent Ruin  NOW!

In Somnolent Ruin captures the essence of a band that no longer needs to prove anything — and yet still does. Active since the mid-1990s and having released their debut album, Where Lovers Mourn, in 2003, DRACONIAN have continuously demonstrated their unmatched ability to craft otherworldly doom melodies and searing heavy instrumentation, complemented by lyrics that read like poetry. Their art cuts deep, compelling listeners to confront their inner demons, wander through the darkest shadows, and even embrace emotional numbness, only to emerge with a sense of inner peace. This album confronts listeners with life's hardest questions, exploring feelings of alienation and the search for direction in unfamiliar territory.

In Somnolent Ruin’s journey begins with "I Welcome Thy Arrow," which captivates from the very first seconds through haunting melodies and a vocal interplay that embodies fragility and strength alike. Tracks such as "The Monochrome Blade" and "The Face of God" introduce increased tempo and eruptive vocal dynamics. "Anima" features Swedish artist Daniel Änghede, adding layers of emotional depth and confronting listeners with their darker impulses, capturing the sense of being lost and questioning one's place in the world. "Asteria Beneath the Tranquil Sea" serves as a transitional interlude between "I Gave You Wings" and "Cold Heavens", the latter exploring the delicate balance between life and death and not finding relief in any of both, while delivering the album's most intense vocal performance. "Misanthrope River" opens with an extended instrumental passage and narration by Simon Bibby, slowing the tempo but by no means reducing the emotional weight, reflecting life’s daily struggles and obstacles. The closing track, "Lethe," references the river of forgetfulness in Greek mythology. Those who drank from it would lose all memory. "Oh, shooting star… Drown in me! Drink. Forget. Repeat," mourns Jacobsson through devilish growls. And yet, In Somnolent Ruinremains a work of art one wishes not to forget — not a single blink of an eye.

Frontiers Music Srl Announces Signing of NELSON

Today, Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of legendary melodic rock duo NELSON to the label’s roster. The band, led by master songwriting twin brothers Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, will also appear at the upcoming Frontiers Rock Festival on Sunday, May 3, 2026, further strengthening their renewed partnership with the label.

The band comments:

“We’re honored to re-join the Frontiers family. NELSON’s now classic 'Lightning Strikes Twice' was the first release for Frontiers in America when the label opened up their US office years ago- and as such, we’ve always felt like a valued part of the team. NELSON is and has always been truly unique - and our family at Frontiers has always valued that, as well as our exhaustive process to write, record, and produce world-class albums that endure the test of time.”

“We’re honored to reconnect with a roster that celebrates melodic rock music with such passion. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on and to deepen our connection with our fans around the world. Be warned: the new NELSON record is amazing,” they add.

Mario de Riso, A&R and Business Affairs VP at Frontiers, shares:

“It is an absolute thrill to have NELSON back to the Frontiers roster. Matthew and Gunnarhave a very special place in the history of melodic rock, and their talent, identity, and consistency as artists continue to shine. Their music represents the kind of quality, emotion, and craftsmanship we deeply believe in. We look forward to sharing this new music with their loyal fans and with a new generation of listeners.”

Matthew and Gunnar Nelson have built a career that truly stands the test of time. Rising to global prominence in the early 1990s with NELSON’s multi-platinum debut 'After The Rain,' the twins topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “(Can’t Live Without Your) Love And Affection,” earning a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. With seven Top 40 singles, five #1 MTV videos, and over 6.5 million albums sold worldwide, NELSON became a defining force of their time.

Deeply rooted in one of America’s most storied entertainment families, Matthew and Gunnarbring a rare perspective to longevity in music. Their grandparents, Ozzie and Harriet, made television history with “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” while Ozzie also pioneered early music-video concepts long before MTV. Their father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Ricky Nelson, sold over 200 million records and helped found the country rock genre. Carrying this legacy forward, the twins have consistently evolved and continue to connect with audiences across generations through authenticity, craftsmanship, and heart.

Beyond music, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson have also become best-selling authors with their book “What Happened To Your Hair?”, adding another dimension to their creative journey.

Today, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson continue to explore fresh creative territory, carrying forward their unmistakable melodic sensibility and soaring sibling harmonies. With a career defined by reinvention and longevity, NELSON remains a vital presence on the rock scene.

The Ghoulstars Resurrect B-Horror on "Graverobbers from Outer Space"

Flying saucers, open graves, mind pollution, mushroom clouds and evil villains with a smile on their face. Meet The Ghoulstars, a fresh - and frightening blast from pop-culture’s past. Since beaming down onto their native haunt of Finland, this White Zombie-loving group of horror punks have captivated press and tantalized crowds without releasing a single bloody track. Until now! On their blockbuster debut album, The Dark Overlords of the Universe, no tome is too sacred for these ghouls to summon back to life!

“Fans of The Misfits, Wednesday 13, and White Zombie should swarm to this like freshly turned corpses sniffing out warm flesh”, Black Angel Promotion writes in an early review of The Dark Overlords of the Universe. “This isn’t Horror Punk done to death. This is Horror Punk resurrected - stitched together, jolted with lightning, and set loose on an unsuspected world”.

Pavillon666 howls in agreement. “This is a very strong debut for The Ghoulstars, sure to please fans of Misfits, White Zombie, or Murderdolls. If you enjoy music steeped in pop culture and horror films, grab this album and devour it like the vile creatures you are”.

Today, The Ghoulstars are thrilled to announce the second advance single from The Dark Overlords of the Universe. “Graverobbers from Outer Space” pays faithful homage to Ed Wood’s 1957 cult classic Plan 9 from Outer Space, but the band spin off a few spooky twists of their own.

“‘Graverobbers from Outer Space’ is one of my favorite songs on The Dark Overlords of the Universe”, The Ghoulstars guitarist Markus “Daddy Ghoul” Laakso says. “Horror movies are practically in my blood flow, especially quirky classics like Plan 9 from Outer Space. This song was written as a straightforward pile-driving tribute, though I can’t think of many punk rock songs that have a doomy C-part and güiro”.

Despite their ghostly appearance, The Ghoulstars are a collection of real talent. The band features an all-star cast of current and former members of death-doom royalty and Season of Mist labelmates Hooded Menace, stoner rockers Thermate and Finland’s Top Ten charting Kuolemanlaakso.

What bands these ghouls together on “Graverobbers from Outer Space” is their morbid fascination with classic cult cinema. Filmed in grainy black and white after Ed Wood’s own heart, the song’s music video leaps off the screen. Fellow horror aficionados will spot plenty of Easter eggs: Beetlejuice’s threads, the dashing and deadly Vampira, a flying saucer cited from a thinly veiled piece of string. The song’s infectious chorus will have even the crustiest of old metalheads barking at the moon. But it’s the dark and doomy riffs, followed by a mysterious presence of güiro, that add a delightfully unexpected twist to this monstrously catchy mash-up.

The Dark Overlords of the Universe is a love letter to everything that blew our minds as kids”, Laakso says. “The album is loaded with huge riffs, big choruses, surprising curve balls and Easter eggs from old horror, sci-fi and coming-of-age movies. Holding it all together is our sheer joy in watching all the pieces fall into the right place.

The video for “Graverobbers from Outer Space” was directed, filmed and edited by Toni Hiltunen.

The Ghoulstars may be undead, but there’s nothing pale or lifeless about The Dark Overlords of the Universe. The title track crosses surf beats, heavy riffing and a hair-raising transition into a chorus that’s absolutely to die for. “We can’t wait to unleash this delightful horror upon the world”, Laakso says with an ominous glint in his bloodshot eye. “As V. Santura told me: ‘The record is unique, catchy and a really fun listen’”.

With The Dark Overlords of the Universe, The Ghoulstars direct a monstrously catchy mash-up between metal, punk and B-horror.
