Wh*res. 'Gold' vinyl repress

Founded in 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia, Wh*res. has established themselves as one of the most successful and motivated bands in the genre today. Elements of Helmet, Melvins, and the Amphetamine Reptile roster can be heard throughout their catalog, but Whores are no regurgitated throwback act. Through intense, cathartic live performances and the perfected aggressive tenacity present on their recordings, the band has gained a fervent following sure to do nothing but grow in the years to come.

October 28, 2016 saw the band's first full-length album, "GOLD." The album was widely praised, garnering spots in the top ten on album of the year lists through publications such as Rolling Stone, MetalSucks, Heavy Planet, Invisible Oranges, and more.

MNRK Heavy welcomes Slomosa

Norwegian riff-rock regalers, Slomosa , have signed with independent music group MNRK Heavy (High on Fire, Escuela Grind, Crowbar). The Bergen-based band will release its new LP, 'Tundra Rock,' on September 13. Boasting a brazen backbone of groove-bitten punch and silken melodic hooks heavily inspired by the Palm Desert music scene, Slomosa showcases a hibernating sound that has been reawakened for a new generation.

In celebration of its new label home, Slomosa today releases a video for the new track "Battling Guns."

"Slomosa is an absolute riff powerhouse with an amazing live show," comments MNRK Heavy SVP, Rock & Metal, Scott Givens. "They are an incredible band and all of us at MNRK are thrilled they have picked us to be their label partners."

Expansive mountains constitute nearly two-thirds of Norway. This breathtaking grandeur gives the country a sense of natural splendor and mystique as if its topography has held secrets for millennia. 'Tundra Rock’ is, quite simply, ‘Desert Rock’ on Slomosa 's terms.

“A desert doesn’t have to be warm", observes vocalist/guitarist Ben Berdous. "If you think about it, the biggest desert in the world is Antarctica. In this respect, the tundra is our desert. We thought it would be cool to coin a genre, and it’s stuck. You could certainly say the grandiosity of nature is evident in the songs of Slomosa.”

'Tundra Rock' is also advanced by the superbly heavy track, 'Rice,' a cavernous cut soaked in sunbaked groove, and 'Cabin Fever.'

Ashley McBryde Earns International Bluegrass Music Association Nod for Song of the Year with Sister Sadie's "Willow"

Lauded by Los Angeles Times as “one of Nashville’s most reliable and sophisticated songwriters,” Grand Ole Opry member Ashley McBryde earns a nomination from the International Bluegrass Music Association for Song of the Year with “Willow,” marking her first nomination as a sole writer, and performed by eight-time 2024 IBMA nominees Sister Sadie (Deanie Richardson, Gena Britt, Jaelee Roberts, Dani Flowers and Maddie Dalton).

“About a decade ago, I had just bought a little Recording King parlor guitar, and I couldn’t wait to write on it,” McBryde explains. “I sat down and out popped ‘Willow.’ It sure felt good to stay connected to my bluegrass roots. Sister Sadie has given this song the best life it could live. Congratulations, ladies!”

As longtime friends and co-writers, Flowers reached out to McBryde for any hidden gems she had available, immediately sharing “Willow.”

“I remember Ashley working on this song years ago when we were roommates and have always loved it,” shares Flowers. “I wasn’t aware that she had finished the tune until I joined Sister Sadie, and she sent it to us to consider for our latest record! It became an instant favorite of everyone in the band the second we heard it. Ashley McBryde is truly a master at her craft of songwriting.”

“When I first heard ‘Willow,’ I could hear us doing it,” adds Richardson. “I could hear Jaelee slaying this tune vocally. I could hear this funky groove that came to life in the studio. It’s got a deep pocket and has been a crowd favorite out on tour.”

“We’re so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to bring this song to life and to the world,” shares the bluegrass supergroup. “We were extra excited to learn about its nomination for Song of the Year at this year's IBMA awards and to share the nomination with our honorary 'sister' Ashley!”

Found on their album No Fear, which received a nod for IBMA’s Album of the Year, McBryde is also a co-writer and featured on “Ode to the Ozarks.” As frequent collaborators, she also co-wrote their GRAMMY nominated song “Something to Lose” with Flowers and Terri Jo Box from 2018’s Sister Sadie II.

Following her hosting duties for ABC’s CMA Fest special, McBryde has headlining dates across the U.S. through the summer before joining Cody Johnson on The Leather Tour this fall. For additional dates and tickets, visit AshleyMcBryde.com.

About Ashley McBryde
GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde cut her teeth playing country songs in biker bars – and it shows. The Grand Ole Opry member’s 2018 major label debut Girl Going Nowhere (Warner Music Nashville) charmed The New York TimesNPRRolling Stone, Paste, The Washington Post and more, all en route to landing a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. McBryde closed out 2019 with ACM New Female Artist, CMT Breakout Artist, a New Artist of the Year win at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards and two nominations for the 2020 GRAMMYs for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” Follow-up Never Will was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated of the year alongside NPR, who also ranked her Top 10 RIAA Platinum-Certified single “One Night Standards” as one of the best songs of 2019. About Sister Sadie
Sister Sadie, which launched in the wake of an ostensibly one-off show at Nashville’s World Famous Station Inn in 2012, has both embraced and transcended its all-female identity, earning acclaim that includes being named as the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year in 2020, as well as Vocal Group of the Year in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Members range from acclaimed veterans to rising newcomers, who have won individual recognition, too, with founding member and fiddle player Deanie Richardson named as Fiddle Player of the Year in 2020 and banjo player/vocalist Gena Britt — SPBGMA’s reigning Banjo Player of the Year — having participated in three award-winning collaborative projects. The lineup is rounded out by 2021 IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year and Mountain Home recording artist Jaelee Roberts (guitar), Dani Flowers (vocals and guitar) and bassist Maddie Dalton, winner of one of IBMA’s Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year Awards in 2023. The band’s previous release, Sister Sadie II, earned them a GRAMMY nomination for Best Bluegrass Album in 2019.

Kenny Chesney Offers No Shoes Radio for the Rest of July!

With the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour setting and breaking his own records in stadiums across the country, “Take Her Home” becoming his 33rd Billboard No. 1 and “Just To Say We Did” climbing the charts, Kenny Chesney wanted to find a way to dial up the fun as summer continues rolling along. Having always tried to keep the music front and center, why not give No Shoes Nation 24/7 access to the sounds of great times, good friends and the moments that last a lifetime?

Working with the folks at SiriusXM, Chesney and his team are making No Shoes Radio available – for free – through the end of July. With road trips, beach escapes and hopefully nights at Chesney’s upcoming shows, what better way to get there than listening to Kenny, Tommy, Kizzy, the road family and all kinds of music?

“Music has always been what’s driven me, made life make sense and dialed up the fun,” says the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar. “When we first launched No Shoes Radio all those years ago, I realized how much and how many kinds of music I listen to, and I loved everything about sharing everything from Bob Marley to Grace Potter, live tracks and special guests with my friends in No Shoes Nation.

“I don’t think there’s any other music mix quite like it, but I think the people who love our music are a lot like me. They love a whole lot of different things, maybe listen based on the mood or vibe like we do. So over the years, No Shoes Radio has been one of the best things in my world! It lets me take No Shoes Nation along wherever I may end up.”

Taking people behind the scenes, on the road, even onstage, No Shoes Radio is almost the listening companion to Sun Goes Down 2024. For fans who are not currently subscribers, you can take advantage of this special, limited window to enjoy No Shoes Radio by visiting SiriusXM.com/NoShoesRadioListenFree.

With “Just To Say We Did” hitting terrestrial radio, the anthem for shooting your shot, living your life out loud and embracing the moment is rolling out of car windows and off boats across the country. Always one to distill life in songs that make people live their best life right where they are, Chesney is all about giving people as much music as they can possibly enjoy.

“To me, music is medicine,” Chesney says. “It’s love. It’s fun. It’s healing. It’s the thing that truly defines the rhythm of whatever we’re seeking, takes us where we wanna be. And I love all the ways people can find the songs that are going be the soundtrack of summer 2024.”

Presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour runs throughout the summer.

Because everything gets hotter when the sun goes down…’

Swedish post-punk trio THEN COMES SILENCE kicks off European tour in support of 'Trickery' LP. Enjoy a dark fix with the cavernous 'Ghost House'

"Then Comes Silence are everything a band should be - good tunes, good playing and singing, and good looking. Their songs are ear-worms, once heard difficult to forget, as catchy as gonorrhea but far better for your health" ~ Wayne Hussey

”I can see them being huge” ~ Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth)

"Capturing the alluring intersection of 1980s Post-Punk, New Wave and College Rock in one fell swoop, this music feels organic and fresh, with ample drive, clever songwriting and a killer melody, along with crisp production" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Truly love it" ~ She Past Away

"Hellacopters of Gothic Rock" ~ Jyrki 69 (The 69 Eyes)

"The only band that have been voted in as album of the month three times!" ( 'Blood' in 2017 / 'Machine' in 2020 / 'Hunger' in 2022) ~ Sonic Seducer Magazine

Swedish post-punk outfit Then Comes Silence has kicked off a string of European tour dates announced for 2024 in support of their seventh album ‘Trickery’, released earlier this year via Metropolis Records. Not long ago, the band wrapped up a successful North American tour is currently touring North America.

The band presents one of their favourite songs from this album - 'Ghost House', which features back vocals by Emma Nylén (Emmon). This is a meticulously-crafted song laced with raw passion, where every echoing synth line brings us closer to the heart of their musical dominion. This also happens to be the final song on the album.

Formed in Stockholm in 2012, Then Comes Silence is made up of frontman Alex Svenson, drummer Jonas Fransson and guitarist Hugo Zombie (Los Carniceros del Norte), their name inspired by frequent touring with A Place To Bury Strangers and an attraction to horror and the occult.

Following up their 2022 album 'Hunger', released via Nexilis Records / Schubert Music (Europe) and Metropolis Records (North America), 'Trickery' captures the heart and essence of alternative rock, along with electronic elements. But it is also a salute to punk music, to which Then Comes Silence traces their roots.

With 13 lush and cavernous tracks on offer, this record features guest appearances by Gözde Duzer of Aux Animaux, Emma Nylén (Emmon)Jörgen Wall of WhaleThåström and Dusty Gannon of Vision Video.

Recorded by Jörgen Wall (Jay-Jay Johanson, The Hellacopters) over three days at Stockholm's Kapsylen Studio and mixed by Tom van Heesch (Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Backyard Babies), this album was mastered by Svante Forsbäck / Chartmakers (Rammstein, Amaranthe, Ville Valo, The Rasmus, Apocalyptica). Earlier, Then Comes Silence shared the singles 'Like a Hammer', ‘Ride or Die’, and focus track 'Stay Strange'.

This album celebrates friendship, unity and the feeling of belonging to a group, a tribe. Being a part of the goth and post-punk community is, according to the band, a great privilege. After being on the road and meeting people from the music scene for so many years, the band have experienced a caring and welcoming community. Old and young. Some with a similar background and some just for the love of the music and the culture that comes with the lifestyle.

After debuting with their eponymous album in 2012, Then Comes Silence put out two more albums before releasing 'Blood' via Nuclear Blast in 2016. Their subsequent 'Machine' album was jointly released via Oblivion / SPV and Metropolis Records in 2020.

Then Comes Silence has toured and performed with The Fields of the Nephilim, The Chameleons, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Bellwether Syndicate and Vision Video, as well as playing Wave Gotik Treffen, M'era Luna, Amphi Festival, Castle Party and W-Festival.

The 'Trickery' album is out now, available on vinyl, CD and digitally everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp.

My Fictions Announce New Album "Touch Of Glass" + Share "Cold Streak" Video

Boston-based hardcore band MY FICTIONS — Bryan Carifio (vocals), Tyler Bradley (guitar), Seamus Menihane (drums), and newcomer Michael Russo(bass) — recently announced that they signed to 1126 Records

Today, the band is pleased to reveal the new album, Touch Of Glass, which arrives August 23.

My Fictions have also shared the cinematic and super fun video for "Cold Streak." Watch and follow along with the storyline, which is detailed a bit more by the band in the comments below.

"For a long time, I didn't think there was ever gonna be another My Fictions album, but now that it's out in the world, I think I needed it to exist," says Carifio. "It's a heavy record, both sonically and lyrically. A lot of time went into making it. A lot of procrastination and stress on my part made it more difficult than it should have been. Now that it's done, I hear these songs and feel like it's the most complete representation of what My Fictions has tried to be as a band."

Touch Of Glass not a feel good record, but it will make you feel something when you need to the most, with Carifio stating, "It's not something I'd throw on a marketing sticker, but the best way I can describe it is as 'bad mood music' — not something that a listener particularly wants to listen to, but rather needs to hear to match how they're feeling at a given time."

He finishes, "Records like that literally changed my life when I was younger and I know for a fact we've done that for at least a handful of people so it's a privilege to get another chance to do it again. It also kinda rocks though so hey, maybe throw it on and punch some drywall out, I don't know. Grateful to our partners who helped us record and release it for helping us carry out our vision."

About the new single, which the band felt was an obvious choice with which to announce the album, Bradley explains, "'Cold Streak' is as close to a fun song as we've ever written. That probably sounds insane to people unfamiliar with us, but I think it tracks. The meat of the song is a mid-tempo groove that builds to a heavy payoff. It ended up being a great platform for Bryan to do his thing on. It's been a cool challenge to reign in and refine elements of our sound to focus on better, more mature song writing. Of course there's still some weird stuff in there for the sickos, but overall, it feels like a step up for us and where I think we've wanted to take things for a while."

Regarding the video, Carifio shares, "This is our first music video ever as a band, which was both exciting and daunting. We shot it in a day — which was a bit chaotic — but I think that energy transferred into the video nicely. I 'directed' and edited the video and my lovely partner Andi Guede shot and co-directed the whole thing."

He continues, "The whole band helped get the storyline to make sense and improved the whole thing, which made it very fun to create. Since 'Cold Streak' is a song about the emotional toll of debt, I thought that a narrative about a down on his luck gambler who schemes up a stupid way to win it all back lined up pretty well thematically. All we do as a band in our free time is talk about movies, so a music video that's basically a Tubi Original version of Uncut Gems-meets-Casino was an easy pitch that Mike, Tyler, and Seamus all did a great job bringing to life as true villains (a mobster, an outlaw biker, and a venture capitalist). The performance scenes were shot where we practice and I loved that there's a giant Converge/Integrity/Coliseum tour poster in some of the shots."

ABOUT MY FICTIONS:
MY FICTIONS are breaking through with TOUCH OF GLASS, their new full-length album and first release on Massachusetts-based metal tastemaker 1126 Records. Throughout over 10 years as a band, My Fictions has specialized in making cathartic music. "I feel compelled to pull from my lowest moments to make something that matches the intensity of the songs," vocalist Bryan Carifioremarks on the process of lyric-writing. That pain-staking process has resulted in the band’s most intense collection of songs to date — Touch of Glass is a record designed to devastate.

My Fictions began around the Boston-area in the distant memory of the early 2010s. The band cut their teeth making noise in basement venues with ridiculous names that have been long since shut down and rented to more responsible tenants. A handful of EPs and split releases honing in on the band’s aggressive and atmospheric sound preceded their 2014 full-length Stranger Songs. Their debut album served as the best summation-to-date of what has become the My Fictions formula: songs must be lyrically dense, sonically pummeling, and emotionally tolling.

After years of inactivity, a revitalized version of the band returned in 2021 with a six-song comeback EP. Time Immemorial brought new, heavier elements into the My Fictions sound while retaining the strange and suffocating undercurrent of earlier offerings. They followed suit by hitting the road with metalcore legends Overcast and Providence-based split partners Dreamwell on separate runs, then carried this energy into Connecticut's Silver Bullet Studios late last year to work for the first time with album engineer and producer Chris Teti (The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Fiddlehead).

With the band split over two states, the writing process for Touch of Glass was a long one. Over two years, guitarist Tyler Bradley, drummer Seamus Menihane, and newcomer Michael Russo on bass would meet on a weekly basis to write and send ideas to Carifio, who was living in Brooklyn and trying desperately to contribute to the special songwriting happening a few hours away. "I would just buy notebooks and listen on repeat, scribbling ideas endlessly," says Carifio. Inspired by records like Slipknot's Iowa, Alice in Chains' Dirt, and Converge's No Heroes, the aim was always to create an album-long sense of dread with the songs they were building together from a distance, even if it took months to take shape.

"New Face" sets a furious tone to start off the album. A rampaging reflection on the impossibility of starting over that deteriorates mid-song into a droning, ambient instrumental break, closed out with a quote from Cormac McCarthy's play The Sunset Limited – "Who would want this nightmare, but for fear of the next?" An immediate segue into the chaotic single "Dreams of Escape" puts this quote into a fitting context — jagged blast beats and manic start-stop guitar riffs are only parts of the unnerving atmosphere that My Fictions builds like an anxiety dream that carries over the album's 10 songs.

The next single "Cold Streak" comes up next, which according to Bradley is "as close to a fun song as we've ever written." The song's mid-tempo groove is matched by an eerie guitar riff reminiscent of bands like mewithoutYou or Fear Before, building a tense atmosphere until the song’s chaotic breakdown. What follows is title track "Touch of Glass," a slow and somber midway point on the album that brings the album's thematic purpose into focus — trying to reshape shattered bits of something broken into a workable whole is often both a fragile and futile exercise.

The record's latter half is packed with its most unrelenting songs, including the scathing breakdown that ends "Selfish Wish" and "Disguise" – a metal-influenced epic that uses self-immolation as a metaphor for correcting past mistakes – "Can I build an effigy / made from the worst in me?" asks Carifio in the song's scream-along bridge. This all builds up to album ender "Touch of Glass II," the band's heaviest song ever which acts as a dreadful statement of purpose and point of the closure to the album. A disorienting guitar lead haunts over the drum and bass onslaught as the album's final lyrics are screamed into the abyss — "My futures all collapse / no way of turning back / through the glass." It's the fitting conclusion that comes from an album ten years in the making — something formed by the most intense, driven and potentially distressing iteration of My Fictions yet.

MAJESTICA - Release New Single 'A New Beginning'!

MAJESTICA are back with their first new music of 2024! The Swedish power metal quartet proudly presents their latest single 'A New Beginning', which is the band's first release since 2021. Therefore, the song name not only fits in relation to this, but also speaks about a new beginning and letting things come to an end. Paired with musical elements reminiscent of the 80s, MAJESTICA unleashes a new catchy tune upon their fans that puts the band back on the radar.

As if the release of this brand new single wasn't enough, MAJESTICA have also delivered a brand new music video for their single, which you can watch below.

Tommy Johansson comments:

"When Majestica finally returns with a new song it couldn’t have been a better one than
'A New Beginning'. Not only is it a heavy power metal song with a catchy sing-along chorus, but it’s also very melodic in the style of Stratovarius, 80’s rock, and Helloween with some hints of Gary Moore. The song reflects on (as the title says) to start over, but also of something that comes to an end. But the end isn’t always a bad thing. It feels great to finally release some new music with Majestica again and to show that we’re back - back with a new beginning."

TSJUDER

The Norwegian black metal band Tsjuder was founded back in 1993 and has maintained a steady course ever since. Tsjuder released their first demo in 1995 with the intention of creating the rawest form of black metal. Over the years, many band members have passed through Tsjuder, but Nag and Draugluin have been with the band the entire way. At Inferno Metal Festival 2025, Tsjuder will perform a two-part set; after the band concludes a set of their own material, they will perform Bathory material, in which they will be joined by co-founding Bathory bassist Frederick Melander.

TIAMAT

Swedish Tiamat started back in 1989 and has since released ten albums. Tiamat began within the death metal genre but soon became one of the pioneers of Swedish goth metal. This period will be the focus when Tiamat comes to Inferno Metal Festival to perform a special set focusing on 'Clouds' (1992) from 'Wildhoney' (1994). It has now been ten years since Tiamat last played in Norway, so it is high time to have them back.

NECROPHOBIC

With over thirty years of active, nefarious service under their spikes and bulletbelts, Necrophobic are undisputed legends of the death and black metal scene. Formed in 1989 by drummer Joakim Sterner, the Stockholm blackhearts propagated a singular and fearless vision from the very start. The band recently released its tenth studio album, 'In the Twilight Grey;' which immediately asserts its separation from everything that has gone before. Colder and more biting than recent efforts, the album is full of brutish metal songs, hewn from unnamed obsidian horrors.

SCHWEIN

Schwein will be remembered by many as the star of Satyricon’s documentary film, 'Roadkill Extravaganza - A True Roadmovie.' He has also been part of bands such as Russian Amcar Club, Kaare & Partiet, Ym:stammen, and Schweinhund. On September 13, Schwein will make its debut with the release of their first full length, 'War.' The lineup features Steinar Gundersen (Satyricon) on guitar, Anders Hundstad (Satyricon) on keyboard, Stig Amundsen (Order/Glucifer) on bass, and Christian Svendsen (Gothminister/The Cumshots) on drums. Musically, Schwein lies in the landscape of Norwegian black metal and traditionak folk, utilizing classic instrumnets such as the Hardanger fiddle and langeleik.

VORBID

Hailing from Arendal, Norway, Vorbid is at the intersection between progressive rock and metal. From their younger days as a thrash metal band, with albums such as 'Mind' (2018) and the self-titled EP 'Vorbid' (2016), the band has since grown and matured with a more modern approach. With inspiration from bands such as Vektor, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Genesis and Rush, the band’s music has become anything but predictable. On their latest album, 'A Swan By the Edge of Mandala,' Vorbid combines the best of the older material with new and exciting turns. The band is in constant musical development and new songs are on the way.

Beauty In Chaos shares 'Holy Ground' feat. Patrik Mata (Kommunity FK) ahead of fourth album 'Dancing With Angels'

"Stunning musical and, in particular, six-string intricacy... layers of lush, ringing, occasionally grimy and often heavily effected guitars" ~ Guitar World

"Guitarist Michael Ciravolo assembled an all-star cast for his moody hard-hitting album... Intense" ~ Rolling Stone

"Hauntingly heavy and beautiful"LA Weekly

With their fourth album 'Dancing With Angels' just a breath away (it's out on July 24), LA-based collective Beauty In Chaos throws open the gates to the darkwave realm, sharing a stunning music video for 'Holy Ground'. A lush offering that features the unforgettable vocals of Patrik Mata of seminal darkwave band Kommunity FK, this marks a thrilling departure from BIC's signature goth rock / postpunk sound.

Formed in 2018 by guitarist Michael Ciravolo (formerly of Human Drama and Gene Loves Jezebel and currently President of Schecter Guitars) with Grammy nominated producer Michael Rozon (Ministry), Beauty in Chaos is a revolving evolving sonic entity. To date, BIC has involved numerous luminaries from The Cure, Ministry, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Gene Loves Jezebel, Marilyn Manson, Human Drama, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, A Flock of Seagulls, dUg Pinnick (Kings X), ICE-T, guitar icon Zakk Wylde, Rolan Bolan, among others.

“I love swinging the pendulum as far opposite as possible from our previous video.  I think “Holy Ground” faithfully captures the sights and sounds of the great mid ‘80s darkwave scene that revolved around Los Angeles’ famed Scream club.  This was such a great time in music. This is when I actually first met Patrik, as we shared several bills with them when I was a member of Human Drama" says Michael Ciravolo.

Both Human Drama and Kommunity FK appeared on Geffen’s 1987 'Scream Compilation’, with the latter gaining well-deserved fame for their MTV and club hit 'Something Inside Me Has Died’. Patrik Mata is currently working with Dave Roberts (Sex Gang Children) in a new project, called Kult Children Ov The Damned.

As for the story behind On 'Holy Ground', Patrik Mata shares, "A Watcher, a Supernatural Being, descends upon the planet below. He became transfixed, curious, & seduced by the women & Earthly pleasures & mysteries found. Ever since The Beginning this Being roamed the Earth creating Nephilim. What seems like an Eternity, The Being becomes a Fallen Angel, jaded, decadent, & tired having used & having been through every Earthling on the planet. The Fallen Angel shares its interpretation ov how this planet used to be considered Holy Ground, but now it is not. The only thing that The Fallen Angel yearns for is to return back Home. Back to The Gate.”

Released via 33.3 Music Collective, the 'Dancing With Angels' album cements BIC's legacy for crafting captivating and imagination-stirring music with eight diverse, riveting tracks on offer. Michael Ciravolo explains, "The title was inspired by a painting from a talented German artist Maren Platzhoff, which also became the album’s cover.  As Michael Rozon and I began writing the music for this release, I knew I wanted to blend artists from our first two releases with some amazing new members to our BIC family".

This eight song release features BIC alumni Ashton Nyte, Holy Wars firecracker Kat Leon, and both Wayne and Cinthya Hussey.  Ciravolo shares “I love bringing in ‘less famous’ but certainly no less talented artists to the fold, and I think this album does just that”.  Leo Luganskiy (Strangelove), Julian Shah-Tayler (The Singularity), former Silence In The Snow frontwoman Cynthia Isabella, The Bellwether Syndicate’s William and Sarah Faith, and Patrik Mata (Kommunity FK) bring immense and diverse talents to 'Dancing With Angels'.

Ciravolo describes this album as sort of a "sonic regression and a sonic progression", noting “I meant this as a positive thing, taking some of the post-rock elements of our debut album, the stark dark bits that run through ‘The Storm Before The Calm' and the gothy dreamy-gaze of  'Behind The Veil’. It was definitely going a bit backwards to take a few steps forward!”

Speaking of going forward, this album in its CD format includes something that Ciravolo has long wanted to do... joining the songs together with musical interludes, which he has dubbed ‘Halos’.  Ciravolo explains, “These are unique soundscape interludes that sonically tie each song together, along with the album’s coda.  I do have this… probably unrealistic romantic idea that the listener will give this album at least one top-to-bottom uninterrupted listen”.

The album's lead track 'Diving For Pearls' features The Mission's Wayne Hussey and Cinthya Hussey, his wife and partner in Archeometre, accompanied by an overlapping-reality video, created by Vicente Cordero / Industrialism Films, The ‘single version’ was mixed by legendary producer Tim Palmer (The Cure, U2, David Bowie, Robert Plant, HIM, The Mission). Hussey's fourth BIC collaboration, Ciravolo says this “may just be the best we’ve written together”.

‘Diving For Pearls' is currently available via Bandcamp, Apple Music and Spotify, and is also available as a limited edition CD single. As of July 24, 'Dancing With Angels' is available on limited edition multi-color vinyl and CD from the Beauty In Chaos store, as well as digitally. The first 100 vinyl copies come with two posters signed by the artists. Vinyl and CD purchases also include the full digital version of the album (with Halos and two bonus tracks).

SEC NETWORK REFRESHES SEC NATION THEME SONG AND OPENING SEQUENCE WITH COUNTRY MUSIC STAR BROOKE EDEN

As SEC Network celebrates its 10th anniversary and a new era for the Southeastern Conference with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas, SECN has tapped country music star Brooke Eden to revamp the theme song and opening sequence for SEC Nation, the network’s weekly, traveling pre-game show.

SEC Nation debuted on August 28, 2014, with a customized version of Robert Randolph and The Family Band’s “Take The Party” as its opening theme song. A decade ago, Randolph worked closely with network producers to develop custom lyrics for “Party Wherever We Go” – an SEC-centric version that complemented the show’s goal of bringing the sights and sounds of a SEC football tailgate to viewers every Saturday. 10 years later, Eden put her twist on the tune with a new sound and original lyrics to include the Sooners and Longhorns.

“It’s such a privilege to get the opportunity to put my mark on the SEC Nation theme song and opening sequence,” says Brooke. “I’m so grateful for the chance to engage with fans and celebrate the passion of college football through a song that means so much to each of us. I grew up right here in the SEC; so, these games make me feel at home even when I’m on the road.”

SEC Network viewers will hear the renewed song in full the night before the first SEC Nation of the 2024 season, when Eden releases the track across all streaming and music platforms at midnight on Friday, Aug. 30. The theme song and opening tease will premiere at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 31, when the show travels to Gainesville, Fla. to showcase the Florida Gators hosting in-state rival Miami Hurricanes.

SEC Nation returns to college football tailgates, stadiums and sidelines this fall, and will regularly follow the site of the 3:30 p.m. SEC on ABC showdown. Laura Rutledge will host the show for her eighth season, her ninth on the show overall, joined by Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper. A “Making Of” feature of Eden’s spin on “Party Wherever We Go” will air during SEC Now on ESPN2 and SEC Network on Wednesday, July 17, at 8 p.m. ET.

With a portion of every ticket purchased to his live shows benefiting The Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), the nonprofit recently donated $100,000 to the community of Jefferson City to improve and renovate two local baseball fields. With $80,000 going toward Roy Harmon Field via the City Parks Department and $20,000 toward New Market Field via Jefferson City Little League, the renovations include new infields, bases, dug outs, press boxes, backstop padding, fencing and more. Brantley Gilbert Reveals Tattoos 9/13 + "Me And My House" ft. Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones Available Now

Fifteen years after the release of his debut album, multi-Platinum country-rock trailblazer Brantley Gilbert knows life has a way of leaving a mark. You can either hide it or embrace it. With his seventh studio album, Tattoos, set for release September 13 via The Valory Music Co., the Georgia native chooses to embrace it – inspired by the idea that his tattoos tell a story, just like his songs. And just like his songs, he’ll never hide the truth they reveal. Pre-order/pre-save Tattoos HERE.

“All my albums, they capture a chapter of my life,” Gilbert explains. “If somebody wants to know who I am, what I’ve been through and where I stand, they can start at the beginning and listen through, and that’s why it was undeniable that Tattoosshould be the title – because my tattoos do the same thing.

“People get ‘em for a lot of reasons, but for most of us, tattoos talk about our victories and losses, our struggles and the whole nine,” he observes. “I was one of those kids who had to learn the hard way. But if I would've listened to the advice of others, I don’t know I would have ended up where I am.”

Featuring 10 songs all co-written by Gilbert with a trusted cast of long-time collaborators, the set matches Gilbert’s ink in both striking design and depth of meaning. Through flowing curves and jagged lines, shadow and light look back on a life of blue-collar pride and full-throttle rebellion – along with addictive love, abiding faith and blessings beyond what any of us deserve.

With today’s announcement, Gilbert shares a preview of the forthcoming project with “Me And My House” ft. Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones, a hand-over-heart declaration of purpose and a defiant tip of the hat to the independent country rap world Gilbert has always admired, as each collaborator wrote and performed their own verses.

“I believe that all of us are the kings and queens of our own castle, and I would never in a million years tell somebody how to run their home,” shares Gilbert. “It’s just about sharing how we run ours, what home is to us. I think it’s a song people won’t just relate to; I think it’s a song we need.”

In celebration of his new album Tattoos, Gilbert will headline Brantley Gilbert’s World’s Largest Album Release Party on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Friday, September 13. The free multi-artist concert is part of FREEDOM FRIDAY events kicking off the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix weekend (September 13-15). Presented by 1st Phorm Energy, with additional partnership from Rousch, Polaris, and Modern Buggy, the 4th annual FREEDOM FRIDAY concert honors members of the Military, Police, Fire, First Responders and Frontline Heroes. The 160th Special Ops Aviation Regiment will perform a helicopter aerial demonstration and a pre-concert flyover by the 101st Airborne Division.

With his dedicated BG Nation behind him, the fiery performer has racked up more than 8.3 Billion career streams, boasting back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits including the RIAA 7x Platinum “Bottoms Up;” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide;” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do;” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen;” and the Platinum-certified “What Happens In A Small Town” with Lindsay Ell. But despite the mainstream success, his defining trait has been fierce independence – a quality you can’t fake in front of country fans. Tattoos just adds to the picture.

As lead single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke climbs the charts at country radio after being most added upon its debut, Gilbert’s headlining Off The Rails Tour continues this weekend with stops in Duluth, Minn., Council Bluffs, Iowa and Goddard, Kan.
