Catch LITTLE MISS NASTY SEX METAL CIRCUS TOUR 2023 with Special Guests GINA AND THE EASTERN BLOCK and RAVEN BLACK LIVE!

Rock & Metal Burlesque and dance troupe LITTLE MISS NASTY--named "The Best in burlesque" by Hustler Magazine--are set to dominate the Spring 2023 US landscape with their SEX METAL CIRCUS TOUR 2023!

Joining LITTLE MISS NASTY on direct support are GINA AND THE EASTERN BLOCK (aka GATEB), celebrated for their raucous and nasty Strip Club anthems, including their darkly luscious cover of KORN's "Freak On A Leash" ft. Heidi Shepherdof Butcher Babies. GATEB released a sumptuously dark cover of the Donovan classic “Season Of The Witch” in late 2022. The band’s latest single is the trip hop laced with NYHC track “Choke On My Dick”.

Gina And The Eastern Block (aka GATEB) is an American band formed in Los Angeles. The band was formed by record producer Marc Jordan (Slash, The Mowgli’s, The Cult, Stitched Up Heart, Bleached, Little Miss Nasty) and uniquely talented and blazingly sexy vocalist Gina Katon. GATEB’s touring unit includes Creighton Emrick from Orgy and has also featured current Deftones and former Marilyn Manson bass player Fred Sablan.

Strip Club Anthems! GATEB released their debut single, "Sippin' On A Forty" in 2016 and attracted significant attention for the over the top salaciousness and sexiness of the accompanying music video for the song. The song pays homage to boredom, day drinking and lipstick lesbian sex. The dark, brooding, hip hop infused track “Bootsy Wally” (also released in 2016) has enjoyed significant popularity as well. Both songs have become verifiable stripper anthems inspiring many people to post performance videos online. #sippinonaforty #bootsywally
The band released the raucous and nasty rocker "Get Gone" in late 2016. "Get Gone" has received significant air play on BBCRadio1 probably because it is the perfect "go fuck yourself" anthem.
The band released several more singles including “I Love You I Hate You”, “Big Black Van”, “Wasted” and “Fuck The System” in 2018 and 2019.

The quarantine of 2020 enabled GATEB to write, record and release "Bloodsucker Motherfucker" featuring Kevin Thrasherfrom Escape The Fate as well as a nasty cover version of the Nine Inch Nails masterpiece "Head Like A Hole".

“The Insanity” was released in March of 2021 and is the first release from the band’s deal with Symphonic Distribution.

“Pussy Gon Eat You”, released in May 2021, is a highly infectious electronic and alternative metal track co-produced by hip hop and electronic music producer The Snowy White Owl and Marc Jordan. “The lyrics to “Pussy Gon Eat You” are not for the faint of heart. This song is ‘Pussy Power’ on crack. I did things vocally that I’ve never done before. I got weird!”, says vocalist Gina Katon.

The band released a mind blowing cover of Korn’s epic song “Freak On A Leash” in May 2022 that features a collaboration with Little Miss Nasty and Heidi Shepherd from Butcher Babies. The song was called one of the best rock/metal releases on 2022 by LOUDWIRE.

Gina And The Eastern Block has gone on numerous national and international tours and has amassed a large cult following across the world.

Dark Metal Carnival RAVEN BLACK will be opening the SEX METAL CIRCUS TOUR 2023, bringing an additional layer of growling vocals and crunchy guitars to whet fans' appetites!

Raven was reborn again, but lost in a world she didn’t fit into. LOST in her own journey hidden behind an innocent smile. Decades of inner turmoil and suffering, she finally let go and took her journey into the darkness with vigilance. She would be found and no one will stop her from reaching the sky from the underground.

RAVEN BLACK blazed onto the scene with the release of their first single, "Died Inside," and a sold out show at the legendary Roxy Theater on September 7, 2013. They continued to work in the studio and released their first EP, Midnight Dreary, in June 2014, successfully packing the house at the famous Viper Room.

In October 2014, the band revamped their line-up and began working with Grammy Nominated Producer Ulrich Wild (ROB ZOMBIE, WHITE ZOMBIE, ALICE IN CHAINS, BREAKING BENJAMIN, PANTERA, SEETHER, DEATHKLOK, OTEP, and more) on their new album. They then spent the next two years writing and releasing their single, "Seven Sins," in April 2016 with the EP, Seven Sins, September 2016.

Raven Black played the Corona Hell and Heaven Festival in Mexico City, Mexico, July 2016, alongside such headliners as RAMMSTEIN, TWISTED SISTER, GHOST, Five Finger Death Punch, MUSHROOMHEAD, SEPULTURA, ALIEN ANT FARM, and many others. They wrapped up 2016 playing DirtFest in Michigan sharing the stage with headliners KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, HATEBREED, ATTILA, BORN OF OSIRIS, and others.

The band released their first official EP with the new line up, Seven Sins, on September 29, 2016, before joining MUSHROOMHEAD, SUNFLOWER DEAD, UNSAID FATE, and DEATH DIVISION on MUSHROOMHEAD's Annual Halloween Tour.

2017 started very busy for RAVEN BLACK as they headed to Cleveland, OH to film their new music video, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Scars," with MonoBloc's Josh Apple and Andrew Sparks. Premiered on Revolver Magazine on April 13, 2017, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Scars" is a miniature horror version of their already theatrical presence in the metal community. "We wanted to have some blood in this one," says Raven.

After a brief rest, RAVEN BLACK toured through the Southern parts of the U.S. on their way to SXSW, where they played the Heart of Texas Rock Festival in March 2017, winning fans from across multiple genres at the iconic event. Raven says, "I am so proud of being able to share our METAL music with other fans of country, hip hop and pop genres. I was so surprised and happy to see them buying our music. It was fun and the only thing missing was the big mosh pit, LOL, although there was a small handful of metalheads represented this year at SXSW. "

After returning back home to Los Angeles, the band quickly prepared for their first headline run, The Hex O'Clock Tour, which kicked off in Guadalajara, Mexico at the Roadhouse Voodoo Bar on July 7, 2017. The Hex O'Clock Tour was a complete success and the band was able to visit so many new cities throughout the country, meeting fans, playing new venues, and sharing new stage props, a few new songs, and announcing their new album, 13, in early Spring 2018.

Ending their 2018 year, RAVEN BLACK went on tour with DEVILDRIVER and JINJER throughout the United States.

In Spring of 2019, RAVEN BLACK toured with CRADLE OF FILTH and ended the year with a two part US / Canada tour with STATIC-X, DEVILDRIVER, DOPE, AND WEDNESDAY-13through the Summer and Fall.

RAVEN BLACK was scheduled to tour with IN THIS MOMENT, BLACK VEIL BRIDES, and DED in the Spring of 2020, but the tour was postponed as a result of the pandemic. Instead, the band kept busy with their fans, "The Rejects," through constant engagement on social media, developing a support group, REJECTSHELP, to provide mental and emotional support for their fans who were struggling through the pandemic. They ended the year with a special 2020, limited edition Rejects Yearbook, which features all of the photo memories of their fans throughout 2019 and 2020, including traditional "favorites' and yearbook themes.Launching April 25th at Fulton 55 in Fresno, the SEX METAL CIRCUS TOUR 2023 travels through the West Coast and West Central US before winding through Texas and back into California, wrapping up May 14th at Jolenes in San Francisco.

Michael Ray Road Hones DIVE BARS & BROKEN HEARTS

Eustis, FL country singer Michael Ray grew up in the Sunshine State’s many dive bars, juke joints, honky tonks and the storied Sunshine Opry. For him, country music was the thing where people drinking after a long day, a tough break-up, a big win or just the need to get out of the house found their music mingled with neon, cigarette smoke, cold beer and enough heartache and high octane to siphon off whatever might be on your heart.

Coming from a family of working-class folks who know the meaning of “40 and OT,” there’s no faking how Ray gets his country on. After spending a few years as a teenager going to school, playing bars and splitting cable, he decided to chase a crazy dream to Nashville. The result was four No. 1s, including his most recent platinum, two-week chart-topper “Whiskey And Rain,” as well as a reputation as one of those artists who can hold down any stage, anywhere.

“There’s nowhere I’m more alive than playing to a roomful of people,” Ray explains. “To me, that’s where country music comes to life. I love being in the studio, putting a song into just the right instruments and frame. But if you want to really understand how a song works, go play it somewhere big enough to get loud, but small enough to feel the people.”

Having teamed with fellow force of Southern rock meets country Macon, Georgia’s Michael Knox, the pair have been bulking up Ray’s beer joint roots and streamlining his classic country song sense for what is becoming one of the most anticipated pieces of new music this spring Dives Bars & Broken Hearts. Culled from the way life puts you in places you never knew you were going to go, the six song EP creates a sense of how it feels to be a man, hold your own space and make your own way.

“When the songs are this strong, you know you’ve got something,” says the dark-headed musician with a laugh. “And when you were practically born playing this kind of music with your family, literally grew up in the bars and little roadside theaters, you can’t help yourself. It’s like a fast car, you wanna take it out and see how it handles. You know, playing new music in these kinds of places ain’t for the faint of heart; but when you’re not afraid, you bring songs this good, it’s amazing what happens.”

Under the radar, beyond the city limits, Ray has been playing several songs that are part of Dive Bars & Broken Hearts for the last few months. Currently dropping anywhere from three-to-five new songs into his set, he’s been amazed by the fan response to showcasing what has always been the sound in his mind.

Having enlisted the man behind 28 No. 1s, 50 million singles and 25 million albums sold, Ray drew on the best of what Knox brought out in 3x Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean, Hank Williams, Jr., Montgomery Gentry and Thomas Rhett. Knox understands the potency of making music for people who work hard, who hit the bars and forget what’s bothering them with straight up country on the jukebox or the bandstand.

“When you came up punching it out in bars, there’s a different kind of energy. Michael let me record with live players, sing about things I knew – and trusted that who I am is who all the people I’ve been playing for since I was a kid are, too. We kept finding songs that felt right for who I am, and we kept singing live and pulling the heart out of the songs. It’s been an amazing process. When we’ve been playing, you can feel the difference with the new stuff... so we’re now using the road to really dial in what Dive Bars & Broken Hearts is gonna be.”

Avant Garde Black Metal Band HENGET Shares New Music Video for "Beyond North Star"

Guitarist Jesse J. Heikkinen (The Abbey, Iterum Nata) and vocalist King Aleijster de Satan (King Satan, Saturnian Mist) have teamed up for a mind-bending progressive black metal project, HENGET. The emerging Finnish band is now premiering the title track from its upcoming debut full-length, 'Beyond North Star,' along with a music video. The clip can be found below.

HENGET comments, "The titular song of the album grasps perhaps the best the band's psychedelic and progressive elements in the balance of solid artistic vision and chaotic channeling. Take the astral journey of the spiritual transformation and watch the new music video for our third single, ’Beyond North Star!'"

Drawing inspiration from the world of occult and the ways of ancient Shamanism, 'Beyond North Star' depicts a violent hallucinatory journey to the depths of the mind and beyond with a psychedelic outlook.

HENGET will be debuting its first full-length, 'Beyond North Star,' on May 19, 2023 via Season of Mist!

Pre-orders are now available HERE. The album can be pre-saved on various digital platforms HERE.

The creation process has always been a very fascinating riddle isn’t it? After all, there’s no strict formula. Some spent weeks, months or even years meticulously working on every tiny detail over and over again until it feels perfect while others just have to let it all out, no matter how it all comes out, it just has to. And no, no matter how hard you try, you can’t force it. You just can’t. You need to have that vision, that unstoppable yearning to turn your dreams into reality.

King Aleijster de Satan has long stopped asking himself all those questions. Although he’s only thirty-four years old, the Tampere based Finn is a bullet-proof veteran of the black metal scene: he used to run and sign bands for Saturnal Records. He also ran the Blackvox studio from 2013 to 2020 where he recorded multiple bands. Purely on the musical front, besides being the long-time standing frontman of Saturnian Mist he also because various experiences, in Arvet among others. But with the industrial rumblings of King Satan, he’s learnt to expand his mind and look over all those useless fences to see what lied beyond. In the end, it’s all about being free both as an individual and as an artist, to go where your instincts and muse take you, no matter what.

And nothing encapsulates more this quest for freedom than HENGET. As a matter of fact, it lies at the very center of it as most of the music AND lyrics were on purpose improvised on the spot. Ever tried to capture lightning in a bottle? King Aleijster de Satan and his comrade Jesse Heikkinen just did with HENGET first album, Beyond North Star, Heikkinen having proved to be quite a versatile artist since dabbling with ‘progressive esoteric folk’ with Iterum Nata, the equally ‘out there’ Hexvessel or The Abbey.

“When I got in the studio to do the vocals, I only had various notes, sometimes hastily written on a small piece of paper and more or less some kind of loose structures to go with it. Most of them I gathered in between 2016 and 2019 after, let’s say experimenting quite a bit. I admit natural psychedelics and other shamanic methods influenced me a lot to reach another level of consciousness, besides my long interest towards the occult and mysticism. Those weren’t meant to get lost into but instead to be used as mere tools to help me opening new doors in my brain, a bit like a shaman would do when engaged in a ritual to reach a trance like of state. That’s also why I booked a two weeks session just for the vocals: I needed that amount of space to really dive in my subconscious. Overall, that was one of most intense recording experience I ever had but I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone because the toll you have to pay once it’s done is pretty heavy.”

Originally, the pair planned to unite in Saturnian Mist but then, Jesse “had to move to another city and it made things too complicated. But we still wanted to work together as he is probably the best songwriter I know. And since I had this idea for this other thing where I knew I wanted to push the limits and go over the edge in terms of songwriting, I needed somebody of his calibre.” “Indeed, Aleijster approached during summer 2021” confirms the multi-instrumentist. “He had a quite clear vision of what kind of concept he wanted to do lyrically speaking for a long time. It did coincide with my own desire to express something personal yet aggressively, an urge I hadn’t felt in a long time. Based on his background, we agreed this should happen within some kind of black metal frame but without still paying attention to much conventions or rules. I was given free rein to do whatever I felt like and I quickly realized I wanted it to be quite intuitive while making sure the music would be as crazy as possible, like some typhoon swallowing everything in its path… So using mostly vintage instrumentation, I recorded most of the music by myself in my own studio, pushing the button ‘rec’ and then totally letting myself go, following Aleijster ‘automatic writing’ method and ending up with some pretty interesting result.”

There’s something strangely seductive about the eight tracks included on Beyond North Star, as if the listeners were invited to enter some alternative and colourful place, dangerous and scary yet always otherworldly. Some may argue that all along you will most likely cross there the ghosts of Dødheimsgård, Arcturus or King Crimson. But Aleijster remains pretty reluctant to label it but “if we really need to, I guess it’s avant-garde black metal.” After hesitating with Henkivallat (‘spiritual realms’), which they ended up using as a songtitle instead, the name HENGET was chosen because of its double meaning as it can be translated both as ‘life’ but also ‘spirits’, “a perfect name for an occult band”. Beyond North Star is a “loose” concept album, like one long journey, even if the songs are not exactly tied up together. Something the 70’s prog rock loving Jesse is quite happy with while its title is a reference to that actual spiritual journey the listeners are about to undertake. One they will never forget.

Three ambitious music videos in total have been shot already to promote the album and HENGET has gathered a full line-up in order to start playing live. Saturnian Mist drummer Ville Rissanen was the first one to be asked, soon followed by Lasse Launimaa, a teenage years friend of Jesse who also plays in cult symphonic black metal band Thyrane on keyboards.

I’m very pleased with the outcome of the new SWEET & LYNCH album, 'Heart & Sacrifice'. It’s diverse, complex and flows beautifully. Every song has something to say in its own unique way. George has always been one of my favorite players and it’s an honor to work with him again. It’s also an absolute pleasure working with Alessandro. We’re able to bring all our own contributions and contribute to create an amazing set of songs and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Get ready for 'Heart & Sacrifice'!” says Michael Sweet.

Their sophomore album 'Unified' followed in 2017, landing at #53 Top Current Albums, #13 Top Current Rock Albums, and #8 Record Label Independent Current Albums on the Billboard charts. The venerable band ascended to prominence in the 1980s with Billboard Top 40 charting singles like “Calling on You", “Honestly” and “Always There for You" and has in more recent years enjoyed an unparalleled career renaissance, delivering arguably the best albums of their storied career, including their 2022 album, 'The Final Battle'.

Michael has released multiple solo albums, including a self-titled release in 1994, which yielded five No. 1 singles, "Truth" in 2000, the critically acclaimed 2015 project "I’m Not Your Suicide" (peaked at No. 10 on Billboard’s Hard Rock albums), and 2019’s "Ten", which reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart. He recently partnered with Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), Nathan James (Inglorious), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), and Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake, ex-Ozzy Osbourne) in the supergroup Iconic, which was greeted with much adoration by rock fans around the globe.

George Lynch emerged from the '80s hard rock scene with the L.A. based group Dokkenand went on to become a world renowned guitarist. Aside from Dokken, he also enjoyed great success with Lynch Mob, the group he founded after leaving Dokken.

Lynch has gone on to become a prolific (that is an understatement, to say the least) music creator, continuing with Lynch Mob, releasing solo albums, and a wealth of collaborative efforts over the decades. Those include, but are not limited to, KXM with dUg Pinnick (King's X) and Ray Luzier (Korn), The End Machine with Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, ex-Dokken), Mick Brown (ex-Dokken), and Robert Mason (Warrant), Sweet & Lynch with Michael Sweet (Stryper), Ultraphonix with Corey Glover (Living Colour), Dirty Shirleywith Dino Jelusick (Animal Drive, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), The Banishment with Joe

Edinburgh-based WITHERED HAND presents 'Crippled Love' ahead of 'How To Love', first album in 9 years

“As life-affirming as music gets” ~ The Herald

“Killer melodies … full of warm, woozy sing-song charm”
 ~
Rolling Stone

“The UK’s best lyricist” ~ King Creosote

“Beautifully constructed lyrical frameworks... Caledonian gospel”
 ~ MOJO

“Godlike Genius” ~ Justin Currie (Del Amitri)

"Stellar music.. sits perfectly square in the middle of Elliott Smith, Flaming Lips, Guided By Voices and Omaha’s Bright Eyes with a dash of Van Morrison and ‘Rocks’-era Primal Scream" ~ The Spill Magazine

Ahead of his much-anticipated 'How To Love' album, UK folk-rock troubadour Withered Hand presents 'Crippled Love', along with a live acoustic set of this endearing song. This record – his first new music in nine years – will officially be released on April 28 via Reveal Records,

This single follows worldwide support for the lead track 'Waking Up', which has been played heavily on tastemaker stations including BBC 6 Music and Amazing Radio. The radio edit involved a collaboration with producer Mark Freegard (The Breeders, Del Amitri, New Model Army, Lush, Pale Saints), while the video was filmed by Juliana Capes in Portobello, Edinburgh.

Withered Hand is the nom de plume of Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Dan Willson, who originally hails from London. On 'How To Love', Withered Hand continues to live up to his reputation as one of Scotland’s most gifted songwriters.

Produced, recorded and mixed by renowned producer Tony Doogan (Mogwai, David Byrne, Teenage Fanclub, The Twilight Sad, Belle & Sebastian, The Delgados) at Castle of Doom Studios in Glasgow, the new album features guest appearances by King Creosote and Mercury-nominated English songwriter Kathryn Williams.

“Crippled Love' is a sprawling fever dream of a song, slung over a simple groove. This song takes in treasured memories from touring in the USA with Scott Hutchison years ago, hallucinatory adventures on the Pacific Coast Highway, and stirs in all kinds of fuck-ups and realisations I’ve had since," says Dan Willson.

"The chorus/refrain is basically some kind of angelic choir (including two beloved real-life guardian angels: King Creosote and Kathryn Williams) trying to get through our thick zonked-out skulls that only our own love could ever really save us."

“Last night, picking your bones clean in the green room, I dreamed I saw you bleed out on the stage”

Withered Hand's acclaimed 'New Gods' LP (2014) was released on vinyl via Slumberland Records, featuring Scottish luminaries from Belle & Sebastian, Frightened Rabbit and The Vaselines, as well as Pam Berry of seminal 90’s US noisepop band Black Tambourine, propelling the album straight into the charts.

Willson started writing songs and singing in his thirties following the birth of his first child and the death of a close friend. With a wayward tenor and unaffected charm onstage, he has come to be celebrated as a songwriter and lyricist of rare wit and remarkable honesty. With songs picked up by MTV and cult series 'Skins', he's gained a legion of fans including Jarvis Cocker and Rolling Stone USA, who deemed him an Artist to Watch.

As of April 7, 'Crippled Love' is available everywhere digitally, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp, where the 'How To Love' album (out April 28) can also be obtained directly from the artist.

Withered Hand will play UK shows in support of the new album - in Manchester(April 20th), Cardiff (April 21st), London (April 22nd) and Edinburgh (April 28th) - and will perform a full-band live session for Marc Riley (ex The Fall) BBC 6 Music show (April 20th) and BBC Scotland’s Quay Sessions (May 3rd).

Americana pioneer Tim Easton presents life-affirming 'Sliver of Light' single, released via Black Mesa Records

"Consistently delivering quality Americana over his thirty-plus-year professional career, which started before the term was even acknowledged... a veteran performer whose best days may still lie ahead" ~ American Songwriter

"Illuminating lyricism" ~ Folk Alley

"A well-seasoned quality. With a gritty yet reassuring voice and clever, laconic and poetic lyrics, Easton has much more going on than many of today’s roots-rockers. After all, as a musical nomad, he certainly has put more miles behind him than most contemporaries" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Since debuting in the late '90s as part of the burgeoning alt-country movement, American singer/songwriter Tim Easton has established himself as first-rate storyteller, recording a series of warmly crafted albums in the 2000s for New West Records that combined engaging and thoughtful lyricism with rugged folk, rock, and roots music traditions" ~ AllMusic

'Every track is a distinct story beautifully told" ~ Americana UK

Nashville-based songwriter Tim Easton presents ‘Sliver of Light’, a song that lives in the category of powerlessness over the behavior of others. Literally inspired by a personal event and the thin line that exists between life and death, this single is released via Oklahoma-based Black Mesa Records. The accompanying video, directed by Jamey Wood, was filmed in Pegram, Tennessee.

A mainstay of American roots music for more than 20 years, Tim Easton creates songs for the Great American Songbook. With reverence for the past and an outlook toward the future, Easton is easily among the greatest songwriters of our time. Pulling from a wide range of influences, his compositions lead you on a journey that blurs the lines between folk, blues, Americana and workingman's rock & roll.

Penned with hope, ‘Sliver of Light’ finds him focusing on the present in the realization of how quickly and abruptly things can end. An organic offering, this song showcases his abilities as a songwriter and performer, and the breadth of his inspiration.

“I wrote the lyrics on a Dutch train during a European tour. I had just heard tough news from home. A friend who had fallen down was suddenly on life support. The words poured out fast and, when I arrived at my hotel, I immediately set the lyrics to music. Once back home in Nashville, the recording session was equally charged and completed in a few hours. Take one was the keeper track with me singing and playing guitar along with the band while a friend filmed us recording. Overdubs were added with some percussion, Wurlitzer keyboard and harmony vocals to complete a song that is two-thirds observation and experience and one-third baseball prayers,” says Tim Easton.

Years before Americana music was recognized at the Grammy Awards with its own category, Tim Easton helped pioneer the genre's mix of classic inspiration and contemporary interpretation, writing songs shaped by forebearers such as Doc Watson, Bob Dylan, John Prine and John Hiatt, while moving forward with the modern world.

Born near the Niagara River and raised in upstate New York, Tim Easton spent his formative years in Tokyo, Japan and Akron, Ohio. Traveling early and often, he learned the ways of the road and rails, spending seven years as a modern-day troubadour, making his way around Europe, playing the streets and clubs, living in Paris, London, Madrid, Prague, Dublin and wherever he laid his hat. Here, he developed his songwriting style – folk-based storytelling and personal traveling tales, often peppered with bold confessions or "tell it as it is" reality. Rolling Stone Magazine praised him as "having a novelist's sense of humanity."

“There is a certain helplessness that is involved with the friends and family of people who are in active addiction that is never easy to understand. I have been in this frustrating place before, and all I have is songwriting to help me deal with it. Sometimes we are simply unable to help people get well. May this song bring comfort to those who are right on the edge, barely hanging on. You are not alone,” says Easton.

With 10 critically acclaimed solo albums to date, Tim Easton has had a burgeoning career that has seen him tour the world, perform with music legends, such as Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt, Townes Van Zandt and Kris Kristofferson, and recording with many equally talented musicians (his 2001 album ‘The Truth About Us’ featured three-fourths of Wilco).

His tenth album ‘You Don't Really Know Me’ (2020) was released by Black Mesa Records and will be followed in 2023 by several vinyl re-presses – ‘Not Cool’ and Easton's solo debut ‘Special 20’. This builds on a steady wave of great music from Easton, including North American Songwriter Volume 1 & 2, a 20-song project entailing the start of a series featuring acoustic recordings of favorite songs from Easton’s vast catalog of original material.

As of April 14, ‘Sliver of Light’ will be available across fine digital platforms, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. More info about upcoming tour dates can be found at www.timeaston.com

One Thing At A Time Reaches No. 1 on ARIA Charts, Earning Wallen

His First Australian Chart Crown; Claims Fifth Straight Week
Atop the Billboard 200 Chart

With a run of six sold-out shows solidifying his international foothold, Morgan Wallen kicked off his One Night At A Time World Tour on March 15 at New Zealand’s Spark Arena, leaving the New Zealand Herald proclaiming “the atmosphere was electric.” Wallen’s presence in Oceania was met with ecstatic fans screaming his name well before the first verse, as he traversed them through a 26-song setlist opening with his first career No. 1, “Up Down,” before diving into new music off his recently released third studio album, One Thing At A Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic) – which reached No. 1 on the New Zealand Top 40 Albums chart following the show.

With additional stops at CMC Rocks in Ipswich, QLD; two shows at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney NSW; and two back-to-back nights at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, VIC; Wallen gave 90,653 fans abroad a first glimpse of his massive tour which will span a total of 65 shows and 30 stadium-plays this year. The milestone kickoff was met with another first for Wallen – as One Thing At A Time landed atop the ARIA charts, earning the superstar his first Australian chart crown.

One Thing At A Time arrived March 3 as Spotify’s largest streaming debut of any genre in 2023 and the most streamed country album in a single day by a male artist, instantly claiming the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, where it has remained for five consecutive weeks and counting.

Hailed by New York Times as a "hit-stuffed streaming blockbuster,” the album broke multiple records upon its release, as Wallen surpassed Drake to become the artist with the most songs simultaneously charting on the Billboard Hot 100, with all 36 songs atop the chart. The streaming success of the album once again launched Wallen to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Artist 100 all-genre chart for his 11th career week, becoming the only core country artist to simultaneously rule the Artist 100, Hot 100 & Billboard 200 charts.

Current singles “One Thing At A Time” and “Last Night” remain in the top-20-and-climbing on country radio, while “Last Night” continues to see success on pop charts, becoming Wallen’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 all-genre chart. Internationally, the album continues to soar, as it reaches its fifth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, with “Last Night” sitting at No. 1 on the Canadian Top 200 Songs chart.

 ABOUT MORGAN WALLEN
Hailed by Billboard for making “his superstar arrival as a touring artist” in 2022, Morgan Wallen recently wrapped his 55-show Dangerous Tour with his first headlining stadium show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX, which saw him shatter attendance records previously held by Elton John and Lady Gaga. Now, the CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee who had record-setting shows in 30 venues across the country - with the only country tour nominated for Pollstar’s Major Tour of the Year – is embarking on a massive world tour in 2023. Spanning 30 stadium-plays across 5 countries and 3 continents, plus arenas, amphitheaters and festivals, Wallen’s 65-show 2023 One Night At A Time World Tour will deliver the man The New Yorker dubbed as “the most wanted man in country” to fans worldwide.

With over 18.2 billion on-demand streams and eight chart-toppers at Country radio, the East Tennessean’s latest hit “Thought You Should Know,” cowritten with Nicolle Galyon and Miranda Lambert, remained at No. for three consecutive weeks. Recent breakout hit “You Proof” became his fastest climbing single to-date, reaching No. 1 after just 14 weeks and remaining at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for a record-breaking ten non-consecutive weeks. Current singles “One Thing At A Time” and “Last Night” remain top-20-and-counting on country airplay charts, as “Last Night” becomes Wallen’s first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1. On the heels of the unparalleled success of his 4x platinum, ACM Album of the Year, Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic Records) – which topped 2021's all-genre Billboard 200 Albums year-end chart and notched historical chart status as Billboard’s longest running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist (with 113 total weeks spent in the Top 10, eclipsing Adele’s 21 and Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA), Wallen’s 36-song deeply personal third studio album, One Thing At A Time, is available now, where it remains at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts for its fifth consecutive week. With ten career weeks atop the Billboard Artist 100 all-genre charts, $3 from every U.S. ticket sold for the One Night At A Time World Tour will benefit the Morgan Wallen Foundation.

Kvelertak Announce New Album "Endling" Out 9/8 + Share "Krøterveg Te Helvete" Video — WATCH

Your favorite punked-up, black metal-adjacent, classic rock-worshipping Norwegian group KVELERTAK are back! Their new album Endling arrives on September 8 via Rise Records/Petroleum Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Krøterveg Te Helvete."

"'Krøterveg Te Helvete' is a celebration of the intolerable levels of hardships of being in a popular rock band in 2023," says Kvelertak.

Thematically, the album continues on the path of 2020's critically acclaimed Splid — which received press accolades from Stereogum, MetalSucks, Kerrang!, Revolver, Invisible Oranges, Blabbermouth, Guitar World, and more — by delving further into local lore and legend, though guitarist Vidar Landa summed it up best. "On Endling, we tell the stories of the extinct and dying men and women of Norway. Old and new myths, culture, and rituals come to life — the folklore that doesn't fit a TV series concept. Vikings and trolls are for television. This is the real deal."

"As the sun fell, at the time when oxen are unyoked, following the trail cut by the footsteps of Rasmus Vardal, the marauders of rock came riding again, screaming Kielland is dead, long live Kielland!," exclaims the band.

Kansas City Melodic Hard Rock Outfit MCHNZ Release New Single “Gravity” via Earache Records

MCHNZ is a melodic hard rock project consisting of frontman, singer/songwriter, Eric Tomes (formerly of Awaiting Eli), guitarist Nic Trotter (formerly of Sidewise and Leo Project), and bassist Carlos Garcia (formerly of Awaiting Eli and OTEP).

These powerhouse musicians have the makings of a Rock juggernaut, with a crushing musical style that gives an ode to alternative music torchbearers like Bring Me The Horizon, Nothing More, I Prevail, and Architects. They capture a unique sound steeped in anthemic choruses, blasting guitar riffs, and electronic pop melodies.

Their new single “Gravity" marks the first official release via Earache Records, one of the longest running and most well known rock and metal record labels in the world. "Gravity" is from the band's upcoming debut album We Are Machines (set to come out late 2023), which was produced by Billboard chart-topping producer Chris Dawson (Seasons After, Saul, GEARS, Shallow Side, Any Given Sin) and mastered by veteran engineer Mike Kalajian.

The group has performed alongside a wide array of artists like Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Papa Roach, Tech N9ne, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Trivium, Nonpoint, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Tantric, and many more. MCHNZ recently performed in their hometown of Kansas City to a sold out crowd at Voodoo-Harrahs casino. This was the band’s first live performance since the Covid-19 pandemic shut down the world. With a series of dynamic and melodic radio friendly Rock anthems in hand, fans should catch MCHNZ live now, because it is only going to get bigger and better from here.

“'Gravity' is about the feeling you get when you have that special someone in your life and there are moments when you feel like gravity is pulling you together, with the way they look at you and move with you,” says Eric Tomes. “And on the flip side, there are other moments when it feels like anti-gravity takes over and complete chaos happens, but you fight to hang on to those feelings that ultimately brought you together in the first place,” concludes Tomes.

The video for “Gravity” was shot by seasoned director Tom Flynn ( I Prevail, Lamb of God) and is now being featured on Rock Rage Radio.

Watch the new video for "Gravity" below. “Gravity” dropped on all digital platforms on April 7, 2023 and impacts rock radio nationally on April 17, 2023.

DEVILDRIVER Release Charging New Single, "If Blood is Life", + Music Video

Groove metal kings DEVILDRIVER recently made their triumphant return with part two of their Dealing With Demons saga, their 10th full-length, 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II', out May 12, 2023 via Napalm Records. Once again produced and engineered by Steve Evetts with additional engineering from guitarist Mike Spreitzer, 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II' is inarguably heavier and relentlessly harsher than its predecessor - as proven last month with bludgeoning debut single, "Through the Depths".

Today, DEVILDRIVER have dropped another unrelenting track, entitled "If Blood is Life",plus an action-packed performance music video featuring exclusive footage from their recent US co-headline tour with labelmates Cradle of Filth. The dynamic anthem grips with an unforgettable hook and lead guitar lines, swaying with an undeniable headbang-worthy groove as it shifts between rhythmic passages.

DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara says about "If Blood is Life":

"Shadows of the future, ghosts of your past walking the floor - why do these things haunt us as humans, when we should be focused on the fact that, like the chorus says, 'Time, it waits for no one, Time, it’s worth the taking.' Learn to focus on the now, the here, the present."

Watch the Music Video for “If Blood is Life”

As DEVILDRIVER enter their third decade with nine full-length albums, countless international tours and worldwide renown, they prove more resilient than ever. As the world was upended in 2020, iconic groove metal leaders DEVILDRIVER didn’t pause, releasing the highly-acclaimed first installment of their two-part Dealing With Demonssaga, 'Dealing With Demons I'. Now, as society emerges more hardened and determined than before, so does 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II'. The new album represents celebrated frontman Dez Fafara’s psyche and the final purging of his demons that have long haunted the band’s music.

International media mainstays like Revolver, Metal Hammer, Kerrang and Consequence lauded 'Dealing With Demons I', which debuted at #4 on the US Current Hard Music Albums Chart. Blabbermouth stated, “If the second half of this mammoth endeavor matches the first, this will be remembered as a pivotal moment in the DEVILDRIVERstory.” 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II' doubles down on the brutality - and then some!

If there is any question as to whether DEVILDRIVER is slowing down any time soon, 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II' proves that 20 years into their career, even with their demons in tow – they move forward at the forefront of metal.

Pre-Order 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II' HERE

Track one, “I Have no Pity”, instantly keeps fans guessing with its contrasting, marching rhythmic groove and Dez Fafara’s icy, earworm warnings. The album’s standout production immediately shines, with the track’s thick riffs, haunting leads, room-filling drums and Fafara’s vocal prowess leading the way.

Eerie, insistent “Mantra” drops a wave of melodic aggression on the listener, instantly inducing headbanging with its breakneck pace and occult lyricism. Dynamic tracks like “Nothing Lasts Forever” and “Summoning” cascade with alternating passages of sinister riffage and memorable chants. “Bloodbath” is as brutal as its name suggests, ominously bending and pummeling with immediate aggression, as “It’s a Hard Truth”continues the onslaught, cautioning against delusion amid balanced melodic leads.

Closer anthems, “If Blood is Life” and “This Relationship, Broken”, are the blood-soaked cherries atop 'Dealing With Demons Vol. II', bringing together all of the elements that make DEVILDRIVER the best at their craft.

Pagan Metal Institution ARKONA Announces Upcoming Album, Kob’, out June 16, 2023 via Napalm Records!

One of the most captivating bands in pagan metal, the adherents of heathen temple ARKONA, have finally announced the upcoming release of their eerie, captivating ninth studio album, Kob’, out June 16, 2023 via Napalm Records. After five years of silence, the band returns with eight ominous new tracks - forming the next chapter in their discography. Painting their music in the light of pagan traditions, Kob’ tells the story of humanity’s descent into the apocalypse.

Today, ARKONA has unveiled the album’s first single and title track, Kob’” (Eng: spell), alongside an impressive occult-inspired music video. Underlined by Masha’s amazing screaming vocals and gloomy soundscapes, the music video tells the story of humanity's push away from the forgotten relics of the past, only to be resurrected and laid to rest.

ARKONA on “Kob’”:

“The song Kob' is the first step of the immersion into the abyss, the step marked by digging the long-buried, forgotten past, primordial evil out of the grave, and the funeral of its resurrector - Humanity. The video provides a visualization of the song, shrouded in the occult darkness of how that all is taking place. Watch it and taste the poisonous fruit of the dark essence of existence.”

Watch the Compelling Music Video for “Kob’”

Pagan metal leaders ARKONA return after five years with intriguing Kob’!

Preparing listeners for the first step into the abyss, the album opener “Izrechenie. Nachalo” (ENG: The Speech. The Beginning) gently takes the listener’s hand, leading them into trancelike realms of ominous whispers and murmuring voices - a recurring motif on the album. Dominated by rhythmic synths and a catchy bassline, “Ugasaya” (ENG: Fadin’ Away) represents the modern era of ARKONA’s pagan roots, as well as the great diversity in their music.

Although Kob’ is dedicated to pagan metal, “Mor”, one of the album’s longest tracks, leans towards black metal - forming the most epic hymn on the album. Not only articulating through lyrics, Masha also sets the tone with her keyboard solo on the emotional “Razryvaya plot' ot bezyskhodnosti bytiya” (ENG: Tearing the flesh owing to the despair of being). While society digs its own grave through wars, religious beliefs and environmental problems, pensive wind instruments and acoustic guitar interludes transform the aggression of deep low growls and fast-paced guitar shredding.

Closing the album with the world’s absolute apocalypse on “Izrechenie. Iskhod” (ENG: The Speech. The Conclusion), Kob’ is deeply rooted in pagan metal stylings of the old days, but offers a modern spirit via its production and variety alike.

ARKONA state about the upcoming album, Kob’:

Kob’ is ARKONA's darkest creation to date. Conceptually, the album describes six steps of the descent into the abyss, where each of the songs is the epitome of every step. We invite everyone to recognize the truth of the Primordial Darkness by plunging gradually into the world of the black reality of Suicidal Humanity through its complete annihilation.”

“White Buffalo” OMV Premieres Today Across All CMT Platforms,
Paramount Billboards in Times Square

Flagship Track "Long Live Cowgirls" Receives RIAA Gold Certification
with Nearly 100 Million Global Streams and Counting

Wyoming native Ian Munsick is spreading the Rocky Mountain gospel with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album White Buffalo, out now (stream / purchase HERE). With 18 tracks that all credit Munsick as a co-writer and co-producer, White Buffalo is an ode to his homeland and serves as a raw, untamed depiction of the American West.

“All I’ve ever wanted to do as a country music artist is represent the West,” Munsick shared. “The land, people, stories and culture are all what give me endless inspiration to create music. I started writing the songs for White Buffalo three years ago. I’d never been so eager to write, and a big factor in that excitement was the way you all responded to my last album, Coyote Cry. But this time, I really wanted to transport all five of your senses to where I was born and raised. I hope you smell the alfalfa pastures, taste the crack-of-dawn Folgers coffee, feel the numbing waters of the Blackfoot river, hear the summer wind blowing through the Indian Paintbrush and, finally, see the White Buffalo wandering through the Wyoming prairie. This album is for the West… thank you for letting me take you there.”

The official music video for the album’s title track premiered today across all CMT platforms and the Paramount billboards in Times Square. Shot at Diamond Cross Ranch in Jackson Hole, the video underscores the expansive Wyoming landscape and lifestyle. Munsick, who has been vocal about the influence of Native Americans on his upbringing and the larger western culture, shined the spotlight on friends Stephen YellowtailDougie Hall and Sammy Jo Bird. Watch the video, directed by Cam MackeyHERE.

Fans joined the high-energy entertainer in downtown Nashville last night for a pop-up show and live stream at Ole Red in partnership with Circle. The Devil Wears Prada Team Up With Dance Artists Excision + Wooli for "Reasons"

"Reasons" from Excision, Wooli, and The Devil Wears Prada is out Now. Listen here.

This track combines Excision's domineering dubstep sounds with Wooli's signature melodic bass underneath The Devil Wears Prada's soaring metalcore vocals. Longtime friends Excision and Wooli have worked together many times in the past, including their recent collaboration "Titans" and "Name Drop."

This is their first time working with The Devil Wears Prada, and it came together flawlessly, meeting in the middle between emotional rock instrumentals, aggressive electronics, and a memorable topline — something fans from all of those worlds will appreciate. There has always been a clear connection between electronic and metal music, from the percussion builds to the headbanging moshpits, and the come-as-you-are attitude of the crowd. With dedicated fanbases across both genres, "Reasons" has unlimited potential.

With over a decade of experience, Excision has established a well-respected bass mecca. His discography spans five full-length studio albums, five EPs, over 30 singles, and numerous fan-favorite mixes, all of which have collectively amassed over 100 million streams. Excision has performed to massive crowds at EDC Las Vegas five years in a row, has headlined festivals across the globe including Shambhala, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and many others, and has consistently toured for nearly 10 years. He's spent the majority of his career being a leader and innovator in the bass music scene, continuously pushing the boundaries of heavy bass and production, championing an unmatched dedication to his craft and the fan experience within the genre. He's helped build an engaged community through his multiple annual festivals, Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, and Paradise Blue.

Wooli's mammoth-sized bass music twists harmonic sounds into a grimy discography of varying tastes. Blending icy compositions with fiery drops, his prehistoric mark captures millions of listeners through immersive performances and heavy bass. He boasts a dynamic suite of releases spanning Monstercat, Never Say Die, Ophelia and Subsidia Records. Wooli's monumental performances draw religious crowds at festival stages like EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Lost Lands, and more, and his 2021-22 Destination Tour spanned 32 dates across North America’s biggest cities, solidifying his place as a leader within the scene. From primeval performances to melodic masterpieces, Wooli is commanding bass music's future as one of this generation's most compelling acts.

Contrast gives art dimension. The juxtaposition of two seemingly disparate elements sparks friction, bringing life to any canvas. The Devil Wears Prada rely on contrast as they nimbly balance metallic turbulence, hardcore spirit, provocatively eloquent lyricism, and melodic exorcism. In between these opposing extremes, the band have fashioned an ever-evolving signature style buttressed by layers of sonic hues. The group has had consistent album chart success, with six consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart between 2011 and 2021. The Devil Wears Prada released their 8th album, Color Decay, in September of 2022 and have already garnered millions of streams. Over the last 15+ years, The Devil Wears Prada have cemented themselves in the metal scene, and have demonstrated a clear ability and talent to continue innovating and growing with their fans.

"For this one, we wanted to bring together the heavy bass that our fans love with the raw energy of metal-influenced vocals. It was awesome working with Wooli and The Devil Wears Prada on this cross-genre collab," states Excision.

"Excision and I originally started this a while ago and knew we needed a band like The Devil Wears Prada on it," says Wooli. "This was my first time working with a band and I am extremely pleased with how this came along. Working with The Devil Wears Prada was an incredible experience. They are insanely talented writers and artists. I'm super excited for this one to come out!"

The Devil Wears Prada offers, "When Excision and Wooli approached us about working together on a song, we were so stoked for the opportunity to dive into uncharted territory for The Devil Wears Prada. It was fun injecting the lyrical and musical flavors from [the 2022 album] Color Decay onto an EDM track, and the emotional and aggressive nature of our sound fit perfectly with their mastery of modern bass music."

The Devil Wears Prada — Mike Hranica [vocals], Jeremy DePoyster [vocals, guitar], Mason Nagy [bass], Kyle Sipress [guitar], Jonathan Gering [keys, synthesizers], and Giuseppe Capolupo [drums] —will release the deluxe edition of their eighth album Color Decay, which arrives May 5 via Solid State. Pre-order it here.

The expanded version will be available digitally and on vinyl. It will include 10 additional tracks — a treasure trove that features two new songs, acoustic versions of Color Decay favorites, live renditions, and remixes. Collectors, rejoice! The band previously shared the video for the new track "Reaching." Watch it here.
