Indie rock band The Intemperate Sons released their new single "Unrealized" to all major platforms! The single is from their highly anticipated new album Game of Keep Away that will be released via FRAME|WORK in 2023.

"The first cut off the upcoming album, Game of Keep Away is called “Unrealized”. The Intemperate Sons once again teamed up with Amir Derakh at the producing and mixing helm to work on this track and the second album to be released in 2023. “Unrealized” is the story of being trapped within the walls of your mind and the self-destructive ways you end up keeping yourself there while everyone around you sees your potential. The Intemperate Sons will follow up the single release with a new video on 1/6/2023 that was filmed by Ardent Owl Media and Ryan Whitehead. The track was recorded at The Kitchen Recording Studios in Dallas, TX. All mastering is done by Mike Marsh Mastering in the U.K. " says the band.

Formed in the summer of 2019 in Dallas, TX, The Intemperate Sons are an up-and-coming alternative rock band that are a cool concoction of hard rock mixed with folk and grunge. The band has earned a serious reputation of writing and performing tracks that scratch deep into the groove of the human experience. There is no shortage of darkness to their writing style. Their music has a total retro vibe with many guitar driven tracks stacked on top of a groovy rhythm section. Their heavier retro style sits perfectly under the two and three-part vocal harmonies that are a huge part of their sound. The Intemperate Sons are a family band with its members Keith Watson (drums), Jake Watson (guitars), and Max Watson (vocals, guitars, keys) all being related by blood. Mark Marks provides the groove at bass to tie it all together. It has been said that musicians that are related form unique sounds and communicate on a frequency only they can understand. This frequency has become engrained in their songwriting, arrangements, guitar melodies, and vocal harmonies. The band has been compared to Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and REM.

The Intemperate Sons are:

Max Watson (vocals, backing vocals, guitars, keys, bass)

Jake Watson (guitars, bass and backing vocals)

Keith Watson (drums, backing vocals)

Mark Marks (bass)

Rice Also Adds 13 New Dates to Headlining Way Down Yonder Tour Kicking Off March 3

Praised by American Songwriter as “one of Country music’s most intriguing and lasting acts,” Chase Rice brought one of the title tracks off his forthcoming album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, to viewers nationwide with the television debut of “I Hate Cowboys” on this morning’s edition of “Good Morning America.” Watch his performance HERE and stream the song on all platforms now.

With “I Hate Cowboys” serving as an ode to how enviable true cowboys are, the official music video released today also offers a visual homage to cowboy culture. Showcasing vintage rodeo footage – including scenes of the great Lane Frost, Tuff Hedeman and Chris LeDoux – the video also features Rice performing the song from the iconic Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo arena. Watch HERE.

Featuring 13 tracks ranging from admiration of a Western way of life in recent releases “I Hate Cowboys” and “Way Down Yonder” to emotional reckoning in Key West & Colorado” and a reimagined album version of “If I Were Rock & Roll,” the forthcoming album set for release on Feb. 10 also honors Rice’s late father, Daniel, with its cover art.

“My dad was one of those good guys you read about – tough, hardworking, always helping other people out,” Rice shared of the man gracing the album cover. “I try to live my life in a way that would make him proud. I haven't always measured up to that, but I get closer to that man I want to be and the man he’d be proud of every single day.

“Making this album was a big step towards that musically, too,” he continued of the project for which he served as a writer on all 13 tracks, including three solo writes. “Not only is it the most vulnerable I've ever been, it’s also something he’d enjoy listening to and is full of stories I wish I could tell him. I’ve always wanted to honor him by using this photo as an album cover, and I know this project is the one that deserves that. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

Fans will also get to hear the new music live on Rice’s upcoming Way Down Yonder Tour, set to visit iconic venues such as Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre from March 3 through July 1, with 13 new dates added today.

About Chase Rice
With nearly 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.4 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the forthcoming album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio, his sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life, as evidenced by recent releases “Key West & Colorado” and “Way Down Yonder.” The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the triple-Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Platinum-certified “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to selling out arenas with Kane Brown and Jason Aldean plus stadiums with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice also consistently sells out venues across the U.S. and Europe on his own headlining tours.

Anti-Flag Share "SOLD EVERYTHING" Video

BAND'S 13TH ALBUM LIES THEY TELL OUR CHILDREN OUT TODAY, JANUARY 6, VIA SPINEFARM

TOURING WITH FLOGGING MOLLY + SKINNY LISTER KICKS OFF IN FEBRUARY

Incendiary Pittsburgh punk rockers ANTI-FLAG have released their 13th album Lies They Tell Our Children today, January 6, via Spinefarm. Get it here.

To celebrate the release, the band will be featured on the upcoming cover ofNew Noise. The issue includes a flexi-disc featuring the band's take on the Dead Milkmen classic "Punk Rock Girl." Get it here.

Additionally, the band has shared the video for "SOLD EVERYTHING." Watch it below.

The video was directed by INDECLINE, who impressively shot SEVEN videos for the album tracks.

Take a deep dive into the track by reading this document.

2023 is an incredibly important year for Anti-Flag, as it marks three decades of profound punk rock.

"2023 — 30 years of Anti-Flag. If we're being completely honest, this milemarker of longevity is both unbelievable to us and at the same time not a shock at all.

"The four of us have committed our lives to these songs, shows, and records. We have placed precedence on this work and believe it to be intrinsically tied to our value as people on this planet. If you would have asked the kids who started this band if we would still be Anti-Flag 30 years later, we would have probably thought we wouldn't make it this long. But we would have collectively resounded that as long as we're alive, we would be making music with the goal of unifying people and communities, positioning empathy over apathy, and using everything at our disposal to be agitators and disruptors of status quo, exploitative, capitalist politics."

"LIES THEY TELL OUR CHILDREN represents a band that is still working on its craft, and we challenged ourselves to be better songwriters, leaving familiarity and comfort zones. Perhaps it's too ambitious to make your 13th full-length album a concept record, but if we have learned anything through our privileged lenses of longevity, it's to be true to ourselves. This was our plan. A record that is fulfilling emotionally and spiritually, we basically said 'Fuck it, this is the record we wanted to make, the people we wanted to collaborate with, the type of song we want to play live and share across the globe.'"

"It's a shot of optimism and inspiration to carry on, stay the course, created because it's what we have to do. We hope that people like it, listen to it, stream it, or whatever… but truthfully, we would be doing all of this with or without an audience, it's all we have known as Anti-Flag for 30 years and we don't see that changing any time soon."

Lies They Tell Our Children was recorded, produced, and mixed by Jon Lundin.

Nordic alt-rock outfit Pennies by the Pound releases synth-laden 80s-inspired 'The End Times' single

"One of Finland’s best kept secrets... quite chameleonic. Best known for their British prog-rock stylings, the quartet try a new size on in this current single – synthpop... truly of the 80s, only with a vocal timbre and passion of Marillion" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Big and extravagant.... this is brilliant music for here and now, wherever that may be" ~ Big Takeover Magazine

"A trippy ride... Loads of flair and professionalism from the band" ~ Amplify Music Magazine

"Indeed a wonderful affair... Pennies By the Pound should be on everyone’s radar as a band to watch in future" ~ The Record Stache

Finnish indie outfit Pennies By The Pound have released their new invigorating single 'The End Times', the second single from their upcoming concept album 'Nothingside', to be released this spring via the Lilith label.

This time around, the band has traded in the fantastic British-style progressive rock seen on the first single 'Burning Wish', a beautiful expression of optimism and adventure, for a synth-infused exploration of the opposite end of the spectrum of emotions conveyed on their forthcoming sophomore album.

Pulsing with the rhythms and sounds of the neon-lit eighties, 'The End Times' takes the listener on a ride through the turbulent times we (as well as the protagonists of the story) are experiencing at present, keeping sight of the light at the end of the tunnel - even if it is an oncoming train.

"This song is something completely different than anything we've ever done before, almost alien to us in many ways. Most of the credit for that goes to our producer Mr. Eskolin, who was instrumental in making this song happen in the first place," says frontman Johannes Susitaival.

"If I've mentioned before about the influence of all sorts of 80s records on this album as a whole, this is definitely the climax of all that. If you check out the video, you'll especially know what I mean. The subject matter of the album as a whole is a bit heavy, so we tried to bring out some light-hearted fun for a change!"

As with previous releases, the Helsinki-based band worked with Ride frontman Mark Gardener, who mastered the track at his OX4 Sound Studioin Oxford, and top national producer Rauli 'Rake' Eskolin, who has had over a dozen No.1 records in Finland to his name in the past 20 years.

Pennies by the Pound was formed by Johannes Susitaival and Vesa Ranta around 2017, with the lineup expanded in the next few years by first Tomi Laaksonen and then Alexander Meaney, both musicians from previous related projects. Having written for a variety of bands, Johannes began exploring his passion for alternative and progressive rock, which led to Pennies' self-produced 'Bloodshed and the Blinding Sunlight' EP in 2018, followed by their debut album 'Heat Death of the Universe' in 2020. This new release takes them to yet another realm beyond that.

'The End Times' is out now, available via digital stores and streaming platforms, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp.

BLACK MARKET KARMA announces 'Friends In Noise' LP and European tour dates with THE BLACK ANGELS

"Emotive, tender and nostalgic...an intriguing and evocative release that effortlessly demonstrates Stan Belton's spectacular composing skills" ~ Clash Magazine

"Addictive... bravely and perfectly executed" The Spill Magazine

"Impressive and singular, yet filled with easy and accessible appeal... making music without following fad or fashion" The Record Stache

"Their psychedelic vision goes well beyond the influential underpinnings of 60s rock, presenting a kaleidoscopic array of sonic threads woven together into the fabulous tapestry" Amplify Music Magazine

London psychedelic pop artist Black Market Karma announces their upcoming tour with The Black Angels as they gear up for the band's eleventh full-length album band's 'Friends In Noise', an international collaboration rooted in friendship and spontaneity, to be released via London boutique label Flower Power Records.

Revolving around songwriter Stanley Belton, Black Market Karma offers a colourful carousel of jingle jangle and distorted wobble with flavours of psychedelia, fuzzed out tones and thumping grooves. With a thick and colourful sound channelled through vintage equipment, their music is rooted in 60's guitar and pop music, other influences include folk, blues, lo-fi electronica, alt pop and soul.

"I didn’t really get the idea of an album in my head too much. It’s something that gradually came together over the years through playing and becoming friends with so many good musicians. Collaborations naturally occur when you’re spending time with people who are musically minded, especially when we would hang at my studio. The songs started to build up over time and I thought man, these should all be gathered together on one release so here we are," says Stanley Belton.

"The last pieces came via two good friends - Craig Dyer of The Underground Youth and Butchy Davy of The Confederate Dead. Craig and I had wanted to make music together in the past but it never came to be - he lives in Berlin, but we managed to make 'Wonky' happen. Lastly Butchy came to the BMK studio with an unfinished, instrumental demo and we worked on it together. The result was 'Ageing Boy'".

Earlier, Black Market Karma released the singles 'The Sky Was All Diseased' with iconic vocalist Tess Parks and 'Aping Flair' with Ruari Meehan (Tess Parks, Tess Parks & Anton Newcombe and Belakiss with Ringo Starr's granddaughter Tatia Starkey).

Featuring recordings captured over nine years, 'Friends In Noise' is a series of collaborations between Black Market Karma and friends. Apart from Tess Parks, this album also involves The Underground Youth, Les Big Byrd /  Joakim Ahlund, The Confederate Dead and Ruari Meehan. More recently, Stan has also been collaborating with Pete Kember (a.k.a. Sonic Boom) of Spacemen 3 fame on a forthcoming release.

Earlier this year, the band released the ‘Aped Flair & Hijacked Ideas' LP, a loaded 11-track offering with a fluid texture of beach-soaked instrumentation. Themes ranging from the sycophantic circles that leach from the arts, desperate attempts to stay spiritually close to a distant love, Japanese folklore, and the deep connection between man and beast.

As of January 13, the 'Friends In Noise' album will be available everywhere digitally, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. It can be ordered on 180-gram coloured vinyl from the label, as well as their latest 'Aped Flair & Hijacked Ideas' LP. Tickets for upcoming tour dates can be ordered here.

Elle King kicked off 2023 co-hosting and performing at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, which was broadcast on CBS and is rounding out the week by releasing Tulsa,” a new song from her forthcoming album, Come Get Your Wife. The new album will be released Friday, Jan 27.

While Tulsa has been named checked in many country songs, this is the first time it’s recognized for its spelling in reverse. “Tulsa is a song about doing someone wrong,” said King of the tune that includes the lyrics But if you spell it back to front you gonna know what I mean, he went back to Tulsa. “This is not about tearing women down but it’s about putting the blame on the wrongdoer. If a man is cheating on you, it’s not her fault because there are a million other girls he would do it with. And he’ll just cheat on her too. It’s a song about uniting and not taking shit from this real P.O.S.”

Written by King along with Ella Langley, Bobby Hamrick and Matt McKinney, “Tulsa” features background vocals by Ashley McBryde and John Osborne on guitar. “We wrote the song in less than an hour and it’s so raucous and fun,” King continued. “We’ve been playing it on the road and it’s the third song in our show now. It’s fun for us and the crowd!”

With the release of Come Get Your Wife only three weeks away, “Tulsa” is another glimpse into the fresh, unbridled and honest album that almost feels like a look into King’s journal. The brassy tune joins the current single “Worth A Shot” with Dierks Bentley – currently at #43 and rising, the previously released smash hit “Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert, the banjo-basted take-your-small town gossip “Out Yonder,” and the hallelujah sass of “Try Jesus,” all part of the Come Get Your Wife line-up. King wrote eight of the 12 songs and co-produced the album with Ross Copperman.

Fans can hear the new music live starting February 14 with her 2023 headlining Elle King A-FREAKIN-MEN Tour Presented by Slow & Low. The nearly 30 city tour will kick-off Valentine’s Day in New Orleans, LA.

Society 1 Go Viral On TikTok With Over 1 Million Views

A recent video clip posted by Society 1 on their TikTok (@Society1lives) has gone viral with over 1 million views. The post is an excerpt of their song "Slacker Jesus" from their 1999 debut album being performed while vocalist Lord Zane suspended by metal hooks pierced through his flesh.

"I know Maynard from TOOL said bands should focus on maintaining their art and older bands reek of desperation that get on TikTok. It's kind of difficult to think like that when you're being seen by millions of people in an entirely new generation." said Zane

Society 1 has been experiencing somewhat of a resurgence since joining the site and posting clips that span their 25 year career. The majority of the interactions have come from Generation Z to the surprise of the band and there doesn't seem to be any slowing down in terms of new interest.

Zane continues, "Dagon Destroyer and I are filming Shock Rock Movie right now and we thought it would be a trip to incorporate the perspective of the younger generation. I'm getting inundated with videos from fans on TikTok (as young as 18), telling me I represent a sort of liberation for them. We've learned during the filming of this movie, and from our TikTok presence, that Gen Z wants to break the chains of the politically correct environment they've been raised in, and that's why shock rock is so intriguing to them."

Society 1 will be on the first half of the Rise Of Machine Tour in 2023

This unique experience takes place during the 2023 edition of Inferno Metal Festival, which takes place in the heart of Oslo, Norway at the Rockefeller, John Dee venue during Easter weekend from April 6-9, 2023. The lineup and daily schedules for the festival can be found below.

Hosted by Anders Odden (Cadaver, Celtic Frost, Satyricon, Order), the tour will take fans on a trip through the places that marked the beginnings of Norwegian black metal.

For the average music fan the story of Norwegian Black Metal is in essence something about murder, suicide and church burning. Between 1991 and 1993 many of the most important events in this dark chapter in Norwegian music history took place in Oslo and we have put together a field trip to the sights that takes you back in time.

Anders Odden formed his first black metal band, Slaught, in 1986 after attending a rehearsal with Mayhem at the age of 14. He was one of the pioneers in the infancy of the Norwegian scene dealing with tape trading, organizing concerts, and creating more and more extreme music on his own. He formed Cadaver in 1988 and released the first Norwegian death metal album on Earache Records in 1990. His band played shows with Darkthrone, Mayhem, Old Funeral and many more bands of what would become the Norwegian black metal scene in the beginning.

This field trip has exclusive anecdotes and personal memories of the early life of the scene from someone who was there. The schedule for the tour is as follows:

Chase Rice to Debut New Song “I Hate Cowboys” This Friday on GMA

CHASE RICE KICKS OFF 2023 WITH DEBUT PERFORMANCE OF “I HATE COWBOYS” THIS FRIDAY, JANUARY 6 ON ABC’S “GOOD MORNING AMERICA”

Forthcoming Album
I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell Set for Release February 10

“I Hate Cowboys” Available Everywhere This Friday, January 6

One of the few contemporary Diamond-certified songwriting cardholders, Chase Rice is set to kick off the new year with brand new music, joining “Good Morning America” this Friday, Jan. 6, for a performance of “I Hate Cowboys.” Tune in to ABC during the 8 a.m. ET hour for this live debut of one of the two title tracks on Rice’s forthcoming album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, set for release Feb. 10.

In addition to the live performance airing this Friday, “I Hate Cowboys” will also be available everywhere that day along with an official music video that tributes the iconic history of cowboy culture. Written by Rice alongside HARDY, Ross Copperman and Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi, the song and corresponding visuals serve as a tongue-in-cheek ode to how effortlessly cool true cowboys really are.

“When you listen to the song you of course get that I don’t actually hate cowboys – I’m really fortunate to call several of them great friends,” emphasizes Rice. “But damn, doesn’t it make you crazy when Mr. Steal Your Girl kicks open the door — with that hat and those Wranglers, and he can two-step better than you, talk cooler than you? ‘I Hate Cowboys’ is an ode to the fact that just like Taylor Sheridan writes in ‘Yellowstone,’ if it were easier everyone would cowboy...hell, I wish I could!”

I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell ranges from emotional reckoning to this admiration of a Western way of life evidenced in the title track, and also includes recent releases “Key West & Colorado” and “Way Down Yonder” plus a reimagined album version of “If I Were Rock & Roll.” Rice serves as a writer on all 13 tracks, including three solo writes, and the project honors his late father, Daniel Rice, with its cover art.

Rice will also bring the new music to fans on his headlining Way Down Yonder Tour this spring, visiting several iconic theaters such as Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre with special guests Avery Anna, Tyler Braden, Ashland Craft, Dalton Dover, Kameron Marlowe, Read Southall Band and Conner Smith across varying dates. Tickets are on sale now via ChaseRice.com.

For all the latest news on the forthcoming music and upcoming tour dates, visit ChaseRice.com and follow Rice on FacebookTwitter and TikTok @ChaseRiceMusic and on Instagram @ChaseRice.

About Chase Rice
With nearly 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.4 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With forthcoming album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio, his sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life, as evidenced by recent releases “Key West & Colorado” and “Way Down Yonder.” The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No.

KURT DEIMER ANNOUNCES SHOWS WITH TESLA IN THE US + NEW HORROR FILM

Singer Kurt Deimer stayed quite busy throughout 2022 – with the arrival of his debut EP, ‘Word Hard Rock Hard,’ which he recorded with his bandmate and creative partner (and Bon Jovi guitarist) Phil X.

And 2023 will see Deimer build his fanbase with further touring in the US.

“We got a couple more Tesla dates in January. I’m also going to shoot my second feature film that I star in, called ‘Scared to Death,’ along with Lin Shaye, she’s known for the ‘Insidious’ franchise and her role in Kingpin with Woody Harrelson, and Bill Moseley, who was in Rob Zombie’s ‘The Devil’s Rejects,’ amongst other projects.

And we already have further tour dates with Tesla in the Midwest with many, many more to come – starting in April, after my movie shoot.”

“2022 was the year we saw the band evolve. We continued to enhance our live show and become a really tight rock'n'roll band. Given that we are direct support, when we hit the stage, we entertain folks at the highest level – with the opportunity we're given and the amount of space we're given on stage. And 2022 has been a great bridge and a great training ground – ‘battle ground’ if you will – setting us up for all the big things that are about to happen in 2023. So, 2022 was the year of hard work. A year of figuring stuff out, a year making the necessary changes to continue to grow as a band and continue to grow our audience across the world.”

Deimer has also issued several music videos thus far, which can be viewed via these links:

“Hero” -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPzlBPogD1M&t=42s

“Naïve” -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp-7ZopNcwQ

“Burn Together” (featuring Geoff Tate) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYWxNdXZqz4

With 2022 now in the rearview mirror, Deimer looks back upon the past twelve months with fondness. “Favorite moments from the band this year for sure was our five days that we did with Tesla in the beginning of September. Those were epic shows. We had come off the Yngwie Malmsteen tour, which was another great moment. With Tesla, we did House of Blues and auditoriums - we really got to play in front of a thousand plus every night, and converted even more fans. Another great memorable moment with those Tesla shows was when we came out on stage at the last show at the House of Blues in New Orleans, to play with them on ‘Signs.’ To be on stage with other musicians that I admire so much was a big highlight. And another highlight of 2022 was when we played to 3,000+ fans with Mushroomhead, at their big Halloween bash in Cleveland at the Agora.”

Undoubtedly, 2023 is going to be a big year for Kurt Deimer.

Ashley McBryde Brings LINDEVILLE to Life in New Video

ASHLEY MCBRYDE’S “BRENDA PUT YOUR BRA ON

BRINGS LINDEVILLE TO LIFE

Featuring McBryde w/ Caylee Hammack and Pillbox Patti Out Now

Lindeville Lands at # 5 on Rolling Stone’s The 25 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2022, #2 on Billboard’s Best Country Albums of 2022 and

the ONLY Country Album on NPR’s Best Albums of 2022

Lindeville also Earns Top Nods from Billboard on Best Albums of 2022,

Tennessean’s Best Nashville Albums of 2022, and

Billboard’s The 50 Best Albums of 2022: Staff List

“Bonfire At Tina’s” Lands at #1 on Paper Magazine’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and

“Gospel Night at the Strip Club” #1 on Billboard’s Best Country Songs of 2022

Up for two GRAMMY Awards including Best Country Album for her critically-acclaimed Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville, the Arkansas-native brings the everytown character-laden opening track, “Brenda Put Your Bra On,” to life with its new music video, HERE, featuring album collaborators Pillbox Patti and Caylee Hammack

Lauded by Slate as one of the best records of 2022, McBryde – and cast – dodge flying objects as Brenda takes her revenge in a video directed by ACM Award Winner Reid Long.

“As soon as we recorded this song, we knew we wanted to make a video for it,” McBryde reflects. “It’s the start of the action in Lindeville. There were a lot of ways we could have shot the video, yet Reid had the idea to capture all the insanity and drama in one continuous take, which feels very in tune with the spirit of this entire project…,” before the ACM and CMA Award winner laughingly adds, “how Lindeville of us!”

“One of Lindeville’s highlights,” says the Los Angeles Times, “a sparse acoustic number that alternates detailed verses about a club’s various habitués with a moving chorus.” That chorus “is crucial,” asserts PASTE, “because it makes explicit the project’s unifying theme: Everyone is flawed, and everyone is worthy of love and respect despite those flaws. Perhaps we should spend less time hiding our sins and weaknesses, and more time forgiving the same in others.”

Marking her third consecutive GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album, following Warner Music Nashville’s Girl Going Nowhere in 2018 and Never Will in 2020, Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville was produced by John Osborne and features performances from Brothers Osborne, Brandy ClarkAaron Raitiere, Patti, Hammack and Benjy Davis. Landing on Rolling Stone’s all-genre “The 100 Best Albums of 2022,” the project brings them all together “to spin stories of small-town life both heartbreaking and hilarious.”

McBryde is also GRAMMY nominated for No. 1 duet and co-write with Carly Pearce, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.”

McBryde’s 2022 wrapped with her induction as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry, and in 2023, the Arkansas native invites all to the revered Ryman Auditorium to experience Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville Live, featuring the cast of collaborators and special guests performing songs from her critically acclaimed album, February 15 and 16. Tickets are available at AshleyMcBryde.com.

About Ashley McBryde
CMA and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde cut her teeth playing country songs in rural biker bars – and it shows. Her 2018 major label debut Girl Going Nowhere (Warner Music Nashville) charmed the New York Times, NPR, Rolling StonePasteThe Washington Post and more, all en route to landing a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. McBryde closed out 2019 with ACM New Female Artist, CMT Breakout Artist of the Year, a New Artist of the Year win at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards and two nominations for the 2020 GRAMMYs for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” Her follow-up Never Will was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated of the year alongside NPR, who also ranked her Top 10 RIAA Platinum-Certified single “One Night Standards” as one of the best songs of 2019. Produced once again by Jay Joyce, Never Will reveals the witty, confessional, detail-driven songwriting addressing a wide spectrum of blue-collar Southern women’s experience introduced on Girl Going Nowhere is still here, but perhaps even sharper. The album earned McBryde a 2021 GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album, making Never Will the only album nominated for Country Album of the Year by the ACMs, CMAs and the Recording Academy in the same award season. Her critically acclaimed duet with Carly Pearce, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” went all the way to No. 1 and earned McBryde and Pearce the ACM award for Musical Event of the Year. McBryde earned five total 2022 CMA nominations including her third consecutive nod for Female Vocalist of the Year along with Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for her duet with Pearce. The Intemperate Sons Release New Single "Unrealized" to All Major Platforms via FRAME|WORK

"Unrealized" can be streamed at:

https://ffm.to/tisunrealized

Indie rock band The Intemperate Sons released their new single "Unrealized" to all major platforms today!

AFTERMATH Releases New Single "Transform & Disrupt"

AFTERMATH released their new single "Transform & Disrupt" to all major outlets. This is the second single from the forthcoming album, No Time to Waste due out on March 17, 2023.

"To Transform and Disrupt the educational system is the message of this track. 'History is written by the victors' according to the famous saying, but the saying left out that real knowledge and information is also controlled by them. The education system that we all go through has brainwashed us and indoctrinated us into believing what 'they' want us to accept as reality. This allows them to control everything and until we understand that and transform and disrupt this machine, we will never truly be free," says Kyriakos "Charlie" Tsiolis.

The band will release their new album No Time To Waste, on March 17, 2023. This marks the third album in a trilogy, and is a departure from the previous dark, concept album installment in the trilogy. It also includes the band’s re-imagining of the John Lennon classic, "Give Peace a Chance".

Chicago based Aftermath, fronted by Kyriakos "Charlie" Tsiolis, formed in October 1985 when Charlie and his schoolmate Steve Sacco (Guitar) got together. This early incarnation with Adam (Bass) and Ray Schmidt (Drums) released their first demo in 1986 featuring “Sentenced to Death”, “Revenge”, “Shotgun” and “The Aftermath”.

In 1987, they unleashed their second demo entitled Killing the Future featuring the tracks “When Will You Die”, “Going No Place”, “Chaos”, “Meltdown” and “War for Freedom”. The band pursued a mind-blowing speed and technical brand of thrash that soon set them apart from the pack and in the process made them a pioneering crossover thrash band.

The tracks "War for Freedom" & "When Will You Die" were both featured on the British Metal Forces magazine_compilation LP Demolition: Scream Your Brains Out in 1988. Their appearance on the Metal Forces compilation further expanded the band's international appeal.

By 1988, the band's musical direction was changing, and Adam's raw and simple bass lines would soon be replaced with complex and technical bass parts handled at first by John Lovette. Ironically, John never played bass on any Aftermath recording and was not even a bass player. He wanted to join the band so badly, however, that he came to the audition with a friend's bass he had just started to play. The speed and complex playing he displayed were like nothing the members had ever seen before on bass. He landed the gig that day. When the band decided it was time to add a second guitarist, Lovette told his bandmates of his desire to switch to guitar and for the first time he came clean he was a guitar player pretending to be a bass player all along. His bass playing was surpassed by his guitar skills and the band found its second guitar player, but unfortunately the search for a bass player was forced to resume. Luckily, the search (for the time being, anyway) ended with Danny Vega. His warm and precise playing was the perfect complement to the guitar playing of Lovette and Sacco and worked amazingly well with Schmidt's powerful drumming. With Lovette handling most of the song writing duties, Aftermath was about to make an unbelievable musical change.

By 1989, that change brought on by Lovette's writing and the band's musical tastes and stylings had slowed and matured as evidenced by the release of the underground classic demo Words That Echo Fear. Danny Vega was replaced on bass by Chris Waldron. The band went onto to become a trailblazing progressive/technical thrash band in the years that followed.

In 1990, based on the huge international success of the Words that Echo Feardemo, the metal label RoadRacer Records (a subsidiary of Roadrunner Records)approached the band for a demo deal, which resulted in a live four track demo featuring the songs “Eyes of Tomorrow”, “Afraid Of Time”, “The Act Of Unspoken Wisdom” and “Reflecting Pictures". Negotiations eventually broke down and Aftermath signed to New York's Big Chief Records. The label's collapse halfway through the recording sessions led to a long delay in finishing the record. While the band struggled to pay the studio bill, the album the band started to record in 1990 would not see the light of day for four years. The experience left the band reeling and forced them to issue the album under their own imprint with the help of their manager through Zoid Recordings in 1994. Four long years had passed since the initial recordings for the record Eyes of Tomorrow and the scene had dramatically changed.

The album was subsequently re-released on Thermometer Sound Surface / Zoidand released yet again four years (1998) later on Black Lotus Records in a re-mastered version.

Quite famously, Aftermath, in a notable court case Tsiolis v. Interscope. Records. Inc., 946 F.Supp. 1344, 1349 (N.D.III. 1996) sued high-profile millionaire rapper DR. DRE over the ownership of the Aftermath name. The Rapper tried to buy the name for $50,000, which the band rejected. The band sued him. As part of the settlement, Interscope Records signed the band. To the label's surprise, the band delivered a record under the moniker Mother God Moviestar. Its eponymous Electro-Metal debut was released in March 1998. The case has been studied in law schools around the US related to the issue of trademark dilution.

Aftermath has continued to receive critical acclaim as one of the major influences in the genre. The band was featured on pages 9 and 10 of Gary Sharpe-Young's A - Z of Thrash Metal, available on Cherry Red Books. Aftermath is also given an entire feature section in Alexandros Anesiadis’ 2019 book Crossover the Edge: Where Hardcore, Punk, and Metal Collide.

Twenty-five years after its formation, Aftermath's music made its return in 2011 with the release of the Box Set 25 YEARS OF CHAOS on Area Death Productions and the vinyl When Will You Die on F.O.A.D. The reemergence of one of the most original thrash bands ever continued in 2014 with their decision to reunite for several concerts in 2015.

Coming off their first show in 20 years at Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse in their hometown of Chicago, the band ripped the stage apart at Headbanger’s Open Air in Hamburg, Germany that summer. In the Fall of 2015, the reunion continued with the reissue of Eyes of Tomorrow. With an expanded booklet and remastered by Paul Logus (Pantera, Steel Panther), Shadow Kingdom Records released the band's debut along with bonus material. Following this release was the Killing the Futurereissue on Divebomb Records. Once again Paul Logus remastered the tracks from their original source and created a wall of sound in the process. Killing the Future, along with the expanded booklet and bonus tracks from the band's 1986 first demo completed the celebration of the band's 30th anniversary.

In 2017, the band started writing the material for their new album. There is Something Wrong is an 11-song opus recorded by Chuck Macak. mastered by Ted Jensen and released through Ingrooves by Zoid Entertainment and The Label Group. A concept record in the truest sense of the word, the album features a mix of old-school crossover thrash and technical/progressive metal and is a commentary on what is wrong with the world today. A calling out of the masses to wake up and know the real enemy. The music is urgent, and the lyrics challenge the listener to seek the truth. Aftermath went back to its early days and revived its crossover thrash stylings on several songs, but those are only samples of what the listeners have in store for them once they put on their headphones and listen to There is Something Wrong in its entirety.

In 2020, Aftermath released a re-imagined version of the John Lennon classic, "Give Peace a Chance".

“John Lennon’s urgent call for peace in Give Peace a Chance is more important today than ever, and our call for peace with this cover is the perfect message to follow up our previous album. We released a dark concept album with a bleak message and felt it was important to follow that up with something positive. The visuals in the video are as important as the lyrics in a way. We live in a visual world today and this video needed to get out the message of HOPE. Having a young girl be the focus of the video was our way of getting that across. Seeing only positive acts when she puts on Lennon’s famous glasses was the perfect visual metaphor. Lennon’s message is transmitted not only through his lyrics but also through the perspective created by his unique lenses” says the band.

The video was directed by critically acclaimed video director Steven Nathan in New York City.

AFTERMATH is:

Steve Sacco - Guitar

Society 1: Live Concert With 14-Girl Orgy Featured In Shock Rock Movie

Shock Rock Movie is in its second month of filming and movie directors, Lord Zane and Dagon Destroyer, have just revealed that the movie will show unreleased footage of a Society 1 performance where 14 girls took the stage and had a live orgy in front of thousands of unsuspecting fans.

"You wouldn't believe it unless we had footage from that night. At the time it was the largest crowd we had ever performed in front of so we thought it would be cool to go overboard with the dancers. Mötley Crüe had a couple dancers on stage back then, we wanted the most of any band ever. What we didn't plan for is the excitement to overcome the women and a spontaneous, full blown orgy to break out. To be honest, by mid set no one was even watching the band. The girls jumped off their platforms in the back and pushed to the front of the stage. We were stepping over naked bodies attempting to not trip over tits and ass for the entire set." said lead vocalist Zane Ear's Rise Of The Machine tour.

Dagon Destroyer comments, “We’ve decided not to hold back with this movie. We’re showing behavior that is considered unacceptable by today’s standards: a massive orgy during a live rock show, hecklers getting face humped, body suspension, and disgusting sexual exploits.”

The movie will cover a side of “shock rock” history that Dagon describes as “covered up by the gatekeepers of the entertainment industry.”

Dagon continues, “Lord Zane gets no respect from the industry. He’s hated by his peers, and his career has been purposely erased, which is why I approached Zane about making this movie. During the height of Zane's career, he was all over MTV and VH1 and in every rock magazine on the news stand. He broke records with live body suspension in front of a hundred-thousand people. He was the most famous porn director alive. Celebrities consistently use Zane for his profound directing and marketing skills, and then consistently screw him over. It's incredibly interesting and gives those who watch this movie a window into the dark side of entertainment.”

Lord Zane and Dagon Destroyer have joined forces to make this film a reality. They will be filming a portion of the movie while on tour with Static-X, Fear Factory, and Dope on next year's Rise Of The
Machine tour.
