Sleep Theory Drop "III" Video — WATCH // Headline Tour Kicks Off Next Month

Breakout four-piece Sleep Theory — vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt — recently announced their eagerly awaited debut album, Afterglow, which arrives on May 16 via Epitaph Records. The album offers a stunning display of diverse rock flavors and was produced by David Cowell and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, Architects). Pre-order it here

They are sharing the video for new single "III."

Watch it below.

The song is a thrill ride, mixing synths and raucous riffing with the band's signature, stadium-sized melodies.

"At its core, 'III' is about betrayal," shares Moore about the intensely personal subject matter. "It's that gut-wrenching feeling when someone you trusted completely lets you down. The song dives into that pain, but it's also about facing the truth, even when it hurts and realizing not everyone is who they say they are."

He continues, "I want people to really think about who they let into their lives. Not everyone deserves your trust, and sometimes, those closest to you can do the most damage."

However, the song is meant to inspire hope and to find the positives that are embedded in a painful moment. Moore finishes, "But beyond, it's about learning from those experiences rather than letting them break you. If this song helps someone feel less alone in that kind of situation, then it's done its job."

"III" follows "Static," which peaked at No. 16 on Spotify Viral 50 in the U.S. and is the band's fastest-growing song to date, with over 12 million streams since its release. The album's lead single "Stuck In My Head" ascended to the No. 1 lot on the Active Rock radio charts — a first for the band! The song is currently No. 26 and building at Alternative radio. All told, Sleep Theory have accumulated 300 million streams across nine singles in their brief but blockbuster career thus far.

Sleep Theory will embark on its first-ever headline tour, kicking off on May 20 in Birmingham, Alabama and winding through the U.S. before wrapping on June 28 in their hometown of Memphis. The band has also booked appearances at select festival dates.  Support will come from Nevertel,  Oxymorrons, and Stray View. Get tickets here

Sleep Theory combine energetic hard rock and metalcore, alongside the powerhouse vocalist Cullen Moore. Praised by Jelly Roll and David Draiman, they've toured with Shinedown, Falling In Reverse, and Beartooth. In under two years, they became the fifth most-played artist on Active Rock radio. Afterglow and the Paper Hearts EP merge heavy rock with pop and R&B, producing anthemic bangers and emotional ballads. Saluted by Revolver, Loudwire, and Amazon Music as an Artist to Watch in 2025, they've become one of heavy music's biggest breakouts. With Afterglow, the quartet proves ready to ascend to the next level. Sleep Theory deliver the dynamic, heavy bounce and massive vocal hooks that the rock world desperately needs. Moore is a powerhouse singer who outmatches nearly all his peers, recalling the most classic and timeless pop, R&B, and rock 'n' roll vocalists of the last several decades. Sleep Theory push themselves creatively at every turn, catapulting the genre to new sonic heights.

Dogma releases "Banned"; EU Tour Announced!

Sinners, the time has come. Dogma’s newest invocation, "Banned," is here, a profane melody woven in flesh and defiance, a hymn to liberation wrapped in forbidden rhythms, a  fusion of metal and tango that tears through the veil of sanctimony.

Some acts are condemned, others are justified. Who draws the line? "Banned" tells another chapter of the story, the moment desire collides with imposed virtue, where submission is shattered, and pleasure becomes power.

But sinners, they are not stopping here.

For the first time ever, Dogma sets foot on European soil, joining forces with Patriarkh on the Sinning Over Europe Part 1 tour. With this, the first gates are broken, and their presence is marked across Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium.

This is only the beginning. There are more places to reach, more sinners waiting in the shadows. Let this be a warning: Europe is ready for Dogma, and they are ready to take it.

MEET & GREET WITH DOGMA: A CALL TO THE UNHOLY CONGREGATION

This first-ever European tour is not just about the stage. Dogma summons our sinners to a limited, intimate gathering beyond the lights and the noise. This is your chance to meet Dogma, to speak, to share, to be part of the movement.

These meet & greets are extremely limited. No show tickets included.  Reserve your place here: https://officialdogma.store/eu-meetngreet/

And sinner, if you come to the show, don’t come empty.  Wear your Dogma emblems. Let us see you under the crimson light adorned in your devotion.  “Banned” is out.  Europe awaits.  Will you join the sin?

MESSAGE FROM LILITH

Sinners,

For the first time, we set foot on European soil. A land steeped in history, contradiction, and rebellion, where saints were martyred, heretics burned, and revolutions born. Now, Dogma arrives, not to kneel, but to rise.

"Banned" is revelation. A wound torn open, a truth they buried, a desire they shamed. It is not just a song, but a confession, a defiance, a sin they tried to erase. Some will flinch, some will fall silent, and some will wake up, which one will you be?

To those who will stand before us on this tour, I want to see you. I want to see you wearing our emblems, our mark, your devotion. Show me that Europe is ready. Show me that Dogma belongs here.

This is just the beginning.

Rise. Sin. Be free. Cause this is not Banned.

BLEED FROM WITHIN - release video for 'Violent Nature' + new album 'Zenith' out NOW

Metal titans BLEED FROM WITHIN have today released their brand new studio album, Zenith, via Nuclear Blast Records. After their most successful year to date, Zenith's whirlwind of accomplished songwriting, white-hot metal fury and hard-earned confidence proves the best is yet to come from the Scottish heavyweights. To coincide with the album release, they have also revealed a video for storming opening track 'Violent Nature'.

On the release of their new album, the band comment:

"Today is the day. Friday 4th April 2025 marks the release of our greatest work so far. This is the best collection of songs we ever put together and a massive step forward for us creatively. Since we released Hands Of Sin last year, we've worked very hard on delivering something essential to our needs. Something that gave purpose to the time we'd dedicated and something we felt was missing in modern metal. Now, almost a year later, we are ready to share it with the world and see where it takes us. Here's to the future.

Ali, Davie, Goonzi, Kennedy, Steven"

HOT MILK Share "Swallow This" Video

HOT MILK continue their Corporation P.O.P era with new single "Swallow This," which takes swipe at the so-called leaders of the world, who seem hell-bent on callously cavaliering us headfirst into collapse.

Talking further on the single, lead singer Han Mee expands, "We live in a post-truth era, we are confused, we are lost, and we are untrusting. We must follow our gut to what is moral, right and kind. 'Swallow This' is a protest song against the hypodermic needle of control media. They anger and press upon pressure points to gain control. As we have always said, 'QUESTION EVERYTHING.' It is healthy and it is right in this world that has evolved too fast for our primate brains to keep up. We must prioritize the wellness and safety of our fellow man, no matter their race, creed, religion, gender, or sexuality. We are human beings, do not let something as common as money and power replace what truly matters. Community, joy, laughter, spirit. I will stand on that picket line first if it comes to it, for now, this is all we got. Enjoy, f 'em."

Watch the video for "Swallow This" below.

Hot Milk's sophomore album Corporation P.O.P. is an extravagant, uncompromising assessment of the perilous world around us, examined through a sharp British lens that is both witty and universal.

Having studied a politics degree, Han Mee has used that with Corporation P.O.P. — where Hot Milk unleash the pent-up anger experienced en masse around the globe. "I've always felt like a bit of a white knight – it's my duty to save the world somehow," says Han. "I feel very, very impacted by the world's issues, consistently. I wanted to be an MEP [Member of European Parliament], that was my dream."

Despite its global outlook, Corporation P.O.P. is an album that takes root in Manchester and Salford, exemplified by the band's decision to shoot all of their videos in their hometown. "Newt Gingrich, who was a U.S. politician, once said, 'All politics is local,'" says Han. "I'm trying to look local and be involved locally so I can affect my world. This is how I survive, because the world can feel overwhelming."

"Manchester is the best f'in city in the world," she continues, getting somewhat emotional, having recently u-turned from a permanent move to L.A. when Manchester came calling back to her. "We started this band in Manchester, it's intrinsic to me and who I am. It has to bleed into the art we create, because it helped me create it."

Produced by the band's own Jim Shaw, with Zach Jones and KJ Strock, you can sense Hot Milk's killer instinct throughout the record, a result of the intensive writing process and recorded as live album, it offers the band at their heaviest with their raw, unapologetic lyrics which brim with unfiltered emotion.

Snapshotting the gloom of the present and unloading very real fears for the future, the sentiment behind Corporation P.O.P. might feel locked inside a time capsule. But fast forward two decades, and time will surely prove why this record carries the hallmarks of something timeless.

Eric Church Brings 'Evangeline vs. The Machine' to Red Rocks for Three Unique Shows This July

With his new album Evangeline vs. The Machine arriving May 2, Stereogum’s “greatest working rock star” Eric Church returns to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a special three-night run of distinct performances July 14-16, curating a unique, immersive experience for each show:

July 14: Eric Church vs. The Machine – a full-scale production featuring his band joined by a dynamic ensemble of strings, horns and choir combining to deliver an epic, must-see set.

July 15: Eric Church vs. The ECB – a raw, high-energy set with his original band, including longtime collaborator Joanna Cotten.

July 16: Eric Church vs. The Guitar – a stripped-down, intimate evening with Church alone on stage, delivering an acoustic performance like only he can.

Church’s history at Red Rocks is one of legend. He made his debut in August 2007 and his August 2016 performance at the venue was captured for a PBS special, highlighted by his hauntingly beautiful cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” A roughly once-a-decade experience, this return to Red Rocks marks his first performance at the venue since that show.

Tickets for this special three-night event will be available to Church Choir members on Monday, April 7, before opening to the general public on Friday, April 11. Become a Church Choir member here. Supporting Church across all three nights is Stephen Wilson Jr. and a limited number of three-day tickets are available for fans eager to see the full trio of shows.

With these one-off shows on the horizon to celebrate new album Evangeline vs. The Machine, lead single “Hands Of Time” is already impressing, having set a new personal record en route to becoming most added at Country radio last week with 135 first-week stations and earning immediate praise from fans and critics alike. Stereogum lauded the “juicy, fired-up Southern rocker about living in a world that increasingly makes no sense to you;” Rolling Stone celebrated the “nostalgic jukebox, full of allusions to songs and artists that were essential to Church’s career: Bob Seger and ‘Hollywood Nights,’ Tom Petty and ‘Even the Losers,’ AC/DC’s ‘Back in Black,’ and Willie and Waylon’s ‘Luckenbach, Texas,’ among them;” and Billboard honored the way “the song builds into a punchy, rock-fueled anthem as Church sings of turning to simple pleasures – particularly music – to fend off the impact of the passing decades.”

Among the other songs featured on the forthcoming Jay Joyce-produced album is “Darkest Hour,” released ahead of the project to support relief efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in September 2024, with all of Church’s publishing royalties donated to provide ongoing funds in support of a more resilient future for his home state of North Carolina. “That song had the chance to change things—it already has,” Church reflects. “The greatest concert I’ve ever played was the Concert for Carolina – that’s the greatest thing I’ve been involved with. This song played a big part of that night and is a rallying cry for the people there that still need a lot of help. As a person who writes and performs a song, seeing it truly impact people’s lives is the greatest thing you can hope to accomplish.”

Also included is “Johnny,” a soul-stirring reinterpretation inspired by “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” and the Covenant School tragedy, which Church has previewed in limited settings at both his Chief's To Beat The Devil residency and the recent Country Radio Seminar, leaving audiences in awe. “About a year ago, we had a shooting here in Nashville at the Covenant School,” he explained when introducing the song during CRS. “Where my kids go to school, my two boys, is about a mile from that school. I will tell you something, the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life – parent or otherwise – is dropping them off at that school the day after the shooting and watching them walk inside. I sat in the parking lot for a long time, and as fate would have it, as I was pulling out, Charlie Daniels was playing, ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia.’ I remember thinking, man, we could use Johnny right now, because the Devil’s not in Georgia, he’s everywhere. I went home and wrote ‘Johnny’.”

ALBUM RELEASE: Thornhill Unleash New Album 'BODIES'; Drop Visualizer for "Under The Knife"

The wait is over, and today an astonishing new era for Melbourne's Thornhill has arrived via their brand new studio album BODIES, out now via UNFD. Accompanying the album is the release of visualizer for under the knife. Stream BODIES here and watch the visualizer below.

A dauntless pastiche of creative freedom and ingenuity, BODIES finds Thornhill in full flight, with its 11 tracks layered with authenticity and electrifying execution, cementing the group's status yet again as one of Australia's most engaging heavy acts.

Opening with percolating bounce via DIESELBODIES thrives with caustic urgency (Revolver), swooning melodics soaked in oscillating chaos and clarity (Silver Swarm), serene reprieves (fall into the wind), grinding swagger (TONGUES) and mellow R&B flavours (CRUSH), offering an expansive and kaleidoscopic palette that circles upbeat buoyancy and crushing heaviness; a snapshot of Thornhill in their most assured form to date.

Coinciding with the release today of BODIESThornhill have also shared a visualizer for the album's haunting penultimate track under the knife. Providing context on the new track, the band share

"We wanted to convey an underlying fear of being unnoticed or forgotten, the notion of a silhouette falling between fingers conveys a message of fleeting moments—something that can be grasped but never fully held. Within the atmosphere of the instrumentation, a haunting exploration of love and lust, blends these two feelings into something more tragic, yet hopefully relatable. There's a delicate balance between submission ("underneath your knife") and resistance ("I don’t wanna know yet"), which creates a soft tension, a push/pull that moves with song dynamics."

In celebration of the new album, for the first time ever, Thornhill will headline stages across North America in Spring 2025. The tour is already shaping up to be a massive success, with their Los Angeles show on April 11th at The Echo officially sold out and several other dates on low ticket warnings two months out. Featuring AVOID, Ocean Grove, and Banks Arcade, this spectacular line-up is an unmissable event for fans of modern heavy music. Get tickets before they sell out HERE. The band also recently announced that they will be playing Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, September 19th, 2025. For further info and to purchase tickets, head to louderthanlifefestival.com/

Commenting on their first ever US headline run, Thornhill shares:

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce our very first North American headline tour! It’s something we’ve dreamed about for years, and now it’s finally happening. We’re bringing along some incredible friends—AVOID, Ocean Grove, and Banks Arcade—and trust us, this lineup is going to deliver a high-energy show from start to finish. We’re so gassed to bring the songs of our new album ‘Bodies’ to the stage.”

Thornhill have amassed a heaving array of accolades over the years, including triple j's Feature Album and additions to countless Best Of The Year listings for their 2019 release The Dark Pool. And in 2023 and 2024, the band gifted some insatiable new material courtesy of standalone singles "Viper Room" and "Obsession", as well as a live album, Live On Tour!, boasting performances captured in the wild across the globe that released in June.

Thornhill kicked off 2024 supporting Silent Planet on extensive North American run, before joining Aussie heavies Polaris on tour in the UK and Europe, appearing at Impericon Festival alongside As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red and While She Sleeps, and touring North America supporting Northlane. Thornhill joined Fear Factory, Thy Art Is Murder, Hands Like Houses and many more performing at last year's Froth & Fury Fest in Adelaide, ending the year with a huge headlining a huge run across the UK and Europe.

The band have released three previous singles from their new album BODIES - "TONGUES" which featured swirling melodies, gut-punching heaviness, and deeply evocative lyricism, “Silver Swarm” which explored the chaotic manipulation and push-pull of toxic relationships, while “nerv.” fused haunting electronics with nu-metal fury, earning the band widespread acclaim, a Spotify cover feature on The Core playlist, and adds to Kickass Metal and All New Metal playlists. Together, the singles have racked up 5 million Spotify streams and 642,000 YouTube views.

Now, armed with their most ambitious and thrilling work to date and ready to lay waste to stages across the US on their immient BODIESheadline tour, Thornhill continue their quest to reinvent heavy music with the release of 'BODIES'. Speaking on their upcoming release, the band share

“‘BODIES’ marks a bold evolution in our ever-developing sound. ‘Heroine’ was defined by its meticulously crafted and tightly woven concept, but the weight of this careful construction sometimes overshadowed the energy of the music itself, leaving some listeners feeling disconnected. With ‘BODIES,’ we’ve embraced a more immediate, unfiltered approach that feels like a lightning bolt, looking to capture the energy of ‘Thornhill right now.’

The album thrives on spontaneity and freedom, foregoing rigid concepts in favour of pure, in-your-face authenticity. It’s less about delivering a carefully constructed narrative and more about creating a visceral, open-ended experience. ‘BODIES’ serves as a sonic moodboard—a collection of feelings and vibes—intentionally left open to interpretation. It has an upbeat and almost celebratory, party energy at times, but also retains all the emotion and intensity Thornhill are known for, making it our heaviest and most explosive work to date.

With ‘BODIES,’ we invite listeners to connect on their own terms. It’s raw, personal, and unapologetically immediate—a record that thrives in the moment, capturing our band at our most authentic and free.”

BENEDICTION - Release Lyric Video For 'A Carrion Harvest' + "Ravage Of Empires" Album Out Now + EU Tour Starts Today!

Today, British death metal legends, BENEDICTION, are celebrating the release of their highly anticipated new album Ravage Of Empires, not only with the coinciding release of a lyric video for the album's devastating opening track 'A Carrion Harvest', but also by kicking off their European tour with guests Junge Rot & Master tonight in Hamburg.

"Brace for impact, or be blown away" - these lines from the chorus of fast-paced ripper 'A Carrion Harvest' can be regarded as a condensed instruction manual for Ravage Of Empires. The album's opening track sets the stage for a demonstration of pure old-school death metal power in eleven chapters by one of the genre's pioneers, and its torch bearers to this day and age.

You can watch the lyric video for 'A Carrion Harvest' below or stream Ravage Of Empires in full at a service of your choice.

ABOUT BENEDICTION

“Sometimes They Come Back” is not just the title of a horror movie based on a macabre tale by Stephen King, it is also a summary of what happened to UK death metal veterans BENEDICTION, yet you might like to add a “better than ever before”. While never officially disbanded, 2020’s Scriptures, the group’s eighth studio album achieved what is usually not an easy feat. It connected well with classics like Transcend the Rubicon (1993) and its immediate and memorable songwriting, the heavy-as-a-brick Grind Bastard (1998), and also saw legendary vocalist Dave Ingram return with his merciless roar and knack for morbid, twisted lyrics. After two albums with Dave Hunt on vocals, Scriptures was BENEDICTION’s first record in over a decade impressing with aggressive up-tempo attacks like ‘Iterations of I’ and ‘Rabid Carnality’ or the neck-breaking mid-tempo barrage of ‘Stormcrow’, songs that became live staples alongside ‘evergreens’ such as ‘I Bow to None’, ‘Magnificat’, ‘Subconscious Terror’ or ‘Vision in the Shroud’ in no time. With Scriptures, BENEDICTION even almost cracked Germany’s top ten by entering at a phenomenal #11 of the Official German Charts showing that the death metal veterans founded 1989 in Birmingham, England, offered an extremely well received sonic catharsis when due to the pandemic, people were locked down and pissed off.

With their brilliant new record Ravage Of Empires in tow, founding members and guitarists Darren Brookes and Peter Rew, longtime vocalist Dave Ingram, drummer Giovanni Durst, and Nik Sampson (bass) will travel far and wide once more. Already confirmed are the Tales of the Triple Death Tour with Jungle Rot and Master kicking off on album release date as well as confirmed appearances at Wacken Open Air and Maryland Deathfest. More to be announced soon!

Larry Fleet's Ode "A Lotta Women" Out Now

Country hitmaker Larry Fleet may be a self-proclaimed rollin’, ramblin’ and gamblin’ man, however behind it all is the woman who keeps him steady—his wife. Built from grit and grace, her unshakable loyalty shines as the inspiration behind Fleet’s newest release, “A Lotta Women.” Listen Below.

Fleet’s release arrives as his headlining Hard Work & Holy Water Tour spans the United States with sold-out shows featuring Kentucky-rooted Everette on select dates. Showcasing his dynamic vocals and an ace band, he also brings the tour to Europe in August.

Written by Fleet, James McNair and Jake Mitchell, “A Lotta Women” offers a unique perspective on relationships as a touring artist.

“There’s not a lotta women that put up with this kind of life, especially with everything that entails: being gone all of the time and traveling,” Fleet shares. “I’ve got me one of those women that sticks around through it all and gives me the opportunity to pursue this dream. And that’s true for a lot of us workin’ folks.”

A lotta women woulda washed their hands of a man like me
Changed the locks
Pawned the rock
I’d be forgotten but not forgiven

“It’s a different side of me,” Fleet continues. “It’s a little more rock with a cool vibe to it and I dig what our producer Trent Willman did to this arrangement. Hope y’all enjoy.”

The release follows Fleet’s “Hard Work & Holy Water,” which reflects Fleet's background in pouring concrete by day and playing in local bars by night, encapsulating the work ethic that’s helped the troubadour transition into the independent artist he is today.

As Billboard observes, “with a style that delves into blues, rock and retro-country with ease,” Fleet’s years of hard work are paying off.

Whether writing about his days working construction (“Earned It” and “Working Man”) or balancing his life present-day (“Things I Take For Granted” and “Muddy Water”), you leave Fleet’s 20-plus song headlining sets with a deeper sense of gratitude and optimism he’s proud to impart.

ABOUT LARRY FLEET
Tennessee-born troubadour Larry Fleet grew up on a stack of records spanning Merle Haggard, Otis Redding, Willie Nelson, and Marvin Gaye. A thoughtful songwriter with a knack for a one-liner, an ear for a sturdy hook, and a powerhouse voice that strikes like a match, Fleet was working blue-collar jobs to make ends meet long before landing his recording contract with Big Loud Records. Seven years later and again working as an independent artist, the devout family man is turning heads among fans and critics as a songwriter (“Man Made A Bar” recorded by Morgan Wallen featuring Eric Church) alongside his own music, 2021's tribute to the music that raised him, Stack of Records, his aptly titled 2019 debut, Workin' Hard, 2023’s Earned It, featuring the single “Things I Take For Granted,” and his first latest, 2025’s independently-released “Hard Work & Holy Water.” Saving Country Music puts it simply: “If you're looking for the future of traditional country music, then look no further.”

OBSIDIAN TONGUE Announces Co-Headlining U.S. Tour with WOE

Progressive black metal duo OBSIDIAN TONGUE are now announcing FRAILTY & SCORN, eight performances of black metal intensity this June alongside WOE. The trek will kick off on June 6 in Long Island City, NY and will make its way throughout the East Coast until the final stop on June 13 in Providence, RI. The tour will not only celebrate the release of OBSIDIAN TONGUE's forthcoming opus, 'Eclipsing Worlds of Scorn,' due on May 30, 2025 via Profound Lore Records, but also will bring both bands back to many cities they have not visited in nearly a decade. Show pre-orders will begin soon as well as local support announcements. The full itinerary can be found below!

To celebrate the recent announcement of their fourth studio album, OBSIDIAN TONGUE has recently unveiled the devastating new single, "Orphaned Spiritual Warrior," which can be heard at THIS LOCATION.

Comprised of multi-instrumentalist Brendan Hayter (Thrawsunblat/Obsequiae live) and drummer Raymond Capizzo (Falls Of Rauros/Panopticon live), OBSIDIAN TONGUE returned to the all-analog Mystic Valley Studio, where their first two records were made, to print their Covid-era home sessions onto two-inch tape. Mixed and mastered in the analog domain as well by Alex Garcia-Rivera, 'Eclipsing Worlds of Scorn' boasts a unique and unmistakable sonic force amidst the modern digital landscape; created with a total absence of click tracks, quantization, or sound replacement of any kind.

Hayter previously commented on the single, "The first track we arranged for 'Eclipsing Worlds of Scorn' practically named itself - 'Orphaned Spiritual Warrior.' It was clearly an album opener, as complex and chaotic as it is.

"It felt like being dropped into a new world you knew you didn’t belong in - and everyone and everything around you knows it too. You vaguely remember that you came from somewhere else, that you had a dignified purpose there, and that there were people way beyond this place that understood you…but the worst part is you don’t know if they’re looking for you, if they’re trying to get you back. All you know is a sense of abandon and mortal danger…every step is heavy with some sort of impostor syndrome and every movement feels uncoordinated, jagged, and bound for disaster. You once could fight, but in this place it feels like trying to fight off an attacker in a dream and you can’t make contact or move your arm fast enough no matter how hard you try. All there’s left to do is find some sort of shelter, try to find your center, try to unlock the memories, and fight off the strife. 'Set ablaze this world to pass onto the next.'"

'Eclipsing Worlds of Scorn' can now be pre-ordered HERE.

OBSIDIAN TONGUE Tour Dates (Co-headlining w/ WOE):

06/06: Long Island City, NY @ El Bunker del Diablo

06/07: Milton, DE @ Brimming Horn Meadery // Party Like It's 793 Fest

06/11: Philadelphia, PA @ Kung Fu Necktie

06/12: Syracuse, NY @ The Jugg on Teal

Sixteen years into the band’s existence, Obsidian Tongue clearly show no signs of running out of new ways to alter their sound - song by song, album by album.

Gridiron Drop "Still Playin' For Keeps (Big Umbrella Remix)" Feat. Daniel Son, Pro Dillinger, + Jay Royale

GRIDIRON — Matthew Karll, vocals; Will Kaelin, guitar and vocals; Xavier Wilson, guitar; Lennon Livesay, bass; and Tyler Mullen, drums — recently announced their new album Poetry From Pain. The album arrives May 30 via Blue Grape Music. It will be available on vinyl in several exclusive colorways. Pre-order it here

The band, which has been tipped by Stereogum for their "incendiary mosh riffs," have shared the latest single "Still Playin' For Keeps" (Big Umbrella Remix) Feat. Daniel Son, Pro Dillinger, + Jay Royale

The track is hardcore x hip-hop hybrid that blends bounce, beats, groove, and grit — like the legends did in the '90s. The result is a rhythmic, genre-smashing Molotov cocktail.

"'Still Playin' For Keeps' is a track that I've wanted to pull off for a long time," says Karll. "Gridiron riffs and some of my favorite current hip-hop artists on the same track. Hardcore and hip-hop meshing together into one entity is what this track is all about.

Watch the visualizer below.

Gridiron, which originally formed as a pandemic project and have since grown into a full-fledged entity, features members of Never Ending Game, Simulakra, and Scarab, and connects the Philadelphia, Delaware, and Michigan areas.

Pushing every boundary to a breaking point, Gridiron will go to any extreme and then some. They follow quite possibly the most unpredictable playbook in the game. The band might flood the zone with a corpsepaint-smearing death metal barrage only to double back around for a victory lap narrated by blinged-out and braggadocios bars. Their hybridization of metal, hardcore, and hip-hop wouldn’t be out of place at either OZZfest 1997 or Rolling Loud 2027.

It's why the quintet have bulldozed their own path as a phenomenon with millions of streams and acclaim from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, NO ECHO, and more.

Gridiron were born out of a series of COVID-era marathon Call of Duty sessions, which led to writing and recording together. Their musical pedigree spoke for itself with Will also in Never Ending Game, Xavier in Simulakra, and Tyler and Lennon in Scarab. Given their individual experiences, the guys instantly locked into a creative groove. Following the Loyalty At All Costs EP [2020] and Worldwide Brotherhood EP [2021], they dropped their first full-length, No Good At Goodbyes [2022]. Along the way, they also shared stages with everyone from Missing Link to Trapped Under Ice and have plenty of upcoming touring planned for 2025.

And now, Poetry From Pain is here and it slays.

Gridiron have a bunch of live shows on deck. All upcoming confirmed dates are below.

ABOUT BLUE GRAPE MUSIC:
In 2022, industry veterans David Rath and Cees Wessels formed Blue Grape Music. The name will be familiar to rock music fans, as it was the merchandise company also launched by Wessels, who founded the venerable and esteemed record label Roadrunner Records in the '80s. Roadrunner earned a reputation as an iconic label that turned hard rock and metal acts into household names for several decades under Wessels' tutelage. Rath spent 21 years in the A&R department at Roadrunner, working on albums by a variety of RIAA-certified and culturally important acts, including but not limited to SlipknotKornTurnstileGojiraCoheed and CambriaWhite ReaperSlashTriviumDream Theater, and more. When the label changed management and ownership, Rath guided the company and oversaw the signings of bands like Young the Giant and Vance Joy. Ultimately, the Blue Grape executive team is powered by experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-your-hands-dirty, by-any-means-necessary work ethic. Blue Grape's inaugural signing was the two-time Grammy nominee Code Orange and since then, the label has gone on to sign San Francisco punks Spiritual Cramp, hardcore heavyweights GEL, and Baltimore sludge slingers GASKET, with several new signing announcements expected to be announced this year. Blue Grape is distributed globally by The Orchard.

About:
FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY’s acclaimed 2022 album On What the Future Holds was the band’s highest-charting release to date, becoming the first of their six full-lengths to reach the Top 25 of the Billboard 200. But while some musicians would take such an achievement as a cue to duplicate whatever worked last time, or maybe even tailor their sound to boost its commercial appeal, the band—vocalist Joe Badolato, guitarists Will PutneyPatrick Sheridan, and Tim Howley, bassist Peter Spinazola, and drummer Josean Orta—simply continued to evolve along their own path. The Nothing That IsFIT FOR AN AUTOPSY’s seventh and latest album (and third for Nuclear Blast), bears no sign whatsoever of commercial concession or rehashed past glories. Instead, the ten-song album finds the band exploring moodier textures and deeper emotions that add new power and dynamics to their already brutal and complex music, while also completely tuning out the ambient noise of passing musical trends and the expectations of the outside world. Produced by Putney at his Graphic Nature Audio studio in Kinnelon, New Jersey, The Nothing That Is is an album filled with anger, frustration, and crushing despair. Songs like "Hostage", "Red Horizon", "Lower Purpose", and the pummeling title track grapple with the horrors that the human race has unnecessarily inflicted upon the world, while the epic, introspective closer "The Silver Sun" reflects bitterly upon our uncertain future. Built to be listened to in its entirety in a single sitting, The Nothing That Is flows like the gripping soundtrack to a documentary film of our increasingly dystopian existence. A ringing wake-up call for humanity and a thoroughly intense listening experience, The Nothing That Is brims with both aggression and melody, it's bracing music is delivered with the confidence of a band that has honed its skills and forged its sense of purpose through fifteen-plus years of all-out live shows. Sufficiently secure of their place in the metal firmament to let their music go wherever feels right for a particular song, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY have delivered what may well be the greatest album of their career.

FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY ARE:
Joseph Badolato | Vocals
Patrick Sheridan | Guitar

WEDNESDAY 13 Drops Ghoulish Music Video for New Single "In Misery"

Currently hitting venues across North America on his "There's No Such Thing As Monsters" tour celebrating 20 years of Transylvania 90210, world-renowned fearsome frontman WEDNESDAY 13 returns with the second single cut from his new full-length album, Mid Death Crisis, set to drop on April 25 via Napalm Records.

Following acclaimed, ultra-catchy latest single "When The Devil Commands," brand new second single "In Misery" is a spooky rager, scratching the itch of both goth-punk and sleaze metal while deftly ebbing and flowing amid heavy genre influences and an earworm hook!

WEDNESDAY 13 comments about "In Misery":

"There are too many love songs out there about people confessing their love to one another. I wanted to do the exact opposite, and confess the misery of being in a bad relationship. Hopelessly, madly in misery with someone. I see it every day, people miserable together. I see it almost as much as I see people happily together. Some people enjoy misery, and this song is about enjoying that misery as much as someone in love."

Watch the "In Misery" Music Video

After returning in 2022 with his widely-acclaimed full-length album Horrifier (#8 US Top New Artist Albums), as well as several major tours supporting his solo work and celebrated Murderdolls reunion shows, the Duke of Spook is back with Mid Death Crisis! WEDNESDAY 13 dubs the album as a fun, campy, "leave-your-brain-at-the-door" rager and a true return to his hard-rocking roots! Produced by guitarist Alex Kane (Life, Sex & Death, Enuff Z'Nuff, Antiproduct) and mixed by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Prong, DevilDriver) the album oozes infectious 80s sleaze metal energy.

Eerie introductory track "There's No Such Thing As Monsters" vibrates with electricity before industrial-tinged "Decease and Desist" kicks in full blast.WEDNESDAY 13's trademark crooning wastes no time entering the fold as he careens through the high-octane horror anthem, before tracks like "Rotting Away" and "Blood Storm" ensnare with metallic goth-punk energy that will have crowds moving wall to wall. Featuring Faster Pussycat's Taime Downe on guest vocals, standout heavy rocker "No Apologies" is a fast-romping exorcism of toxic demons, while the triumphant mini-murder ballad "Decapitation" riles up listeners with a catchy lead riff before making a hard left into a theatrical bridge straight out of a sinister '60s sock hop! Ragers like "In Misery," "Xanaxtasy" and "Sick and Violent" explore various genres of metal, injecting the album with elements of gripping heaviness for any listener, while downtempo stunners "I Hurt You" and "My Funeral" approach a more pensive territory.

Archetypes Collide Drop Lyric Video for New Single "The Problem"

Arizona rock band ARCHETYPES COLLIDE — Kyle Pastor (vocals), Brandon Baker and Jared Knister (guitars), Ky Sanders (bass), and Tyler Flamm(drums) — quickly established themselves as a band unafraid to blur the lines between safety and innovation in heavy music. In their songs, soaring vocals, melodies, and heavy grooves swirl with passion and precision. They closed out 2024 by releasing the single "Hollow High." Watch the visualizer here.

They have released the lyric video for the new single "The Problem."

Watch it Below.

On "The Problem," the band has cranked the knobs as far as they can go It's powered by a gnarly riff that comes roaring from the '00s heavy music heyday. But while the song takes inspo from that era, this ain't no retro banger. Archetypes Collide have crafted a contemporary hard rock anthem with furious screams, layered and emotive vocal melodies, and killer, head-nodding choruses. "The Problem" is the logical next step for Archetypes Collide, who are poised to cut their own path in this genre.

"Setting boundaries, putting up walls, cutting off relationships," says Pastor. "It's an unfortunate reality we all have to deal with. But all too often people abuse these habits in the name of 'protecting their peace,' instead of taking responsibility for their actions. I wrote 'The Problem' after having to deal with this head on."

Archetypes Collide are touring the U.S. this spring in support of Fame on Fire and Haloescene. All dates are below.

ABOUT ARCHETYPES COLLIDE:
ARCHETYPES COLLIDE demand repeated listening, mixing everything from Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon to The Chainsmokers, and Stranger Things-style retro synths, into a unique musical identity. A collection of singles and EPs drew a devoted fanbase and the attention of Oshie Bichar, bassist for Beartooth. Bichar enlisted his management, and the pair took Archetypes Collide under their wing. Soon after, SiriusXM's Octane got behind songs like "Your Misery," "Becoming What I Hate," and "Above It All." The band appeared on major festivals like Aftershock, Louder Than Life, and Welcome To Rockville, toured with genre giants The Amity Affliction, and crafted an ambitious self-titled debut album for Fearless Records. Archetypes Collide spent several weeks in the first part of 2022 making their inaugural full-length, with a super team surrounding them to execute their vision. Bichar produced alongside Nick Ingram (Dayseeker, Convictions, Hawthorne Heights) at Capital House Studio in Ohio. Additional production came from Jon Eberhard (Skillet, I Prevail, Until I Wake); The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers lent a creative hand as well. The resulting album, mixed by Jeff Dunne (Ice Nine Kills, Wage War, Make Them Suffer), captures the vibrant spirit of the 2010s-era Warped Tour with a postmodern edge. It's a diverse but singular mission statement, brimming with authenticity and hope. ARCHETYPES COLLIDE aren't bound by preconceived notions or limitations. As single Kyle Pastor explains simply: "Why not take every shot, in every direction, under the umbrella of hard rock and metal?"

About W.A.S.P.
Few Bands in the history of Rock N’ Roll have ever incited the love, the hate, the raw emotional effect this Band has had on the world. From the very beginning, in the small venues of Los Angeles California, and later to the numerous countries worldwide that banned these Winged Assassins from performing live, the Band’s unique style of Shock and Rock caused Religious organizations, Local City Councils, Parliaments, and the Washington D.C. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played.

The band’s founding member, frontman Blackie Lawless, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. His unique brand of visual, social and political comment took the group to worldwide heights and sold millions of records alongside a legacy of sold out shows across the globe for 4 decades.

12x ACM Award-winner and reigning Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilsonis nominated for seven awards at the 60th Annual ACM Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Whirlwind), Song of the Year (“4x4xU,” as an artist and songwriter), Visual Media of the Year (“4x4xU”) and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. The awards ceremony will stream live exclusively on Prime Video on Thursday, May 8 from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

The nominations add to yet another triumphant year for Wilson, who recently earned her eighth #1 at country radio with “4x4xU,” and is in the midst of her nearly sold-out Whirlwind World Tour, including stops this fall at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Austin’s Moody Center, Baton Rouge’s Raising Cane’s River Center Arena and Denver’s Ball Arena among many others. The upcoming dates follow the tour’s first leg—a completely sold-out extensive run across the U.K and Europe earlier this month. See below for the complete tour itinerary. Full details can be found at www.laineywilson.com/tour.

The tour further celebrates Wilson’s widely acclaimed new album, Whirlwind, which was released this past summer via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville (stream/purchase HERE). Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Miranda Lambert, Eric Church), the record earned Wilson her best sales week ever as it debuted at #8 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart—her first top 10 entry.

In just the past year, Wilson was also inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, performed during the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Halftime Show, won Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards, three awards at the 59th ACM Awards and two awards at the 58th CMA Awards, where she also made her hosting debut alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan. Wilson also received two awards at this year’s ACM Honors: the prestigious Triple Crown Award—presented to those who have won ACM Entertainer of the Year, Female/Male Vocalist of the Year and New Female/Male Vocalist of the Year—and the Milestone Award, which is given to an artist who has had an unprecedented or outstanding year in country music.

A prolific and sought-after songwriter, Wilson has scored eight #1 hits including “4x4xU,” “Watermelon Moonshine” and the 2x PLATINUM Certified “Heart Like A Truck,” and has collaborated with artists such as Post Malone (“Nosedive”), Cole Swindell (“Never Say Never”), Jelly Roll (“Save Me”), HARDY (“wait in the truck”) and Myles Smith (“Nice To Meet You”). She is also a triple threat within entertainment as a singer, songwriter and actor, as she made her acting debut in season 5 of Paramount’s hit series Yellowstone and recently returned for its final episode of the series. Moreover, Wilson wrote and recorded “Out of Oklahoma,” which was featured in the new Twisters movie.

Ministry Releases First-Ever Music Video For “Everyday Is Halloween”: From “The Squirrely Years Revisited” Album, Out Now Via Cleopatra Records;

For the first time ever, Ministry has an official music video for the eternal hit, “Everyday is Halloween.” Originally released in 1984, Al Jourgensen’s rally cry for the goth community and misunderstood creatures of the night has remained a cult classic over the decades and is finally being given the visual treatment it deserves.

See the video for “Everyday is Halloween” Below.

Says Jourgensen, “I’m amazed and honored that folks are still listening to this song 40 years on. Fly that freak flag proudly.”

“Everyday is Halloween” is one of the cuts on the forthcoming album, The Squirrely Years Revisited, out now via Cleopatra Records that sees Jourgensen making peace with the past. After the incredible reception to Ministry’s With Sympathy and Twitch-heavy set at Cruel World 2024, Jourgensen decided it was time to reexamine his long-dormant synth pop hits and give them a fresh polish 40 years later.

Featuring 9 tracks (3 additional bonus tracks on CD), The Squirrely Years Revisited offers reworked versions of not only “Everyday Is Halloween,” but also “Work For Love,” “I’m Not An Effigy,” and “I’ll Do Anything For You.”

The Squirrely Years Revisited follows the release of Ministry’s 16th studio album in 2024, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, and comes ahead of the final new studio album from Ministry in 2026, a record that has Jourgensen teaming up with Paul Barker once again.

The Squirrely Years Revisited will be available in all formats including digital, CD and 4 different vinyl configurations.

Opening support will come from Ministry’s old-school comrades, including Nitzer Ebb for the first half of the tour, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult for the second half of the tour; and Die Krupps on all dates. ABOUT MINISTRY

Born in 1981 in Chicago, Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, Ministry was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the ‘80s. Ministry’s output began with four 12” singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP With Sympathy in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed however, so did Ministry, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums Twitch (1986), The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989). With the release of Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs (1992), Ministry hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, Ministry has been nominated for a Grammy award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with AmeriKKKant, continuing to reflect Jourgensen’s views on the frightening state of society and politics. The 2021 album Moral Hygiene marked a new creative era of Jourgensen and the band. Ministry’s 16th studio album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, was released March 1, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Morgan Wallen’s Roisterous Return to SNL

Live from New York, Morgan Wallen returned to NBC’s Saturday Night Live last night (3/29/25) to perform two new songs from his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, arriving Friday, May 16, 2025.

Host and Oscar winner Mikey Madison first introduced Wallen for “I’m The Problem.” Strumming his Martin J40 guitar center stage, Wallen took to the iconic 30 Rock set with an evidence board filled by personal images of the superstar dating back to 2018, as Mark “Taco” Annino on drums set atop a vintage desk riser flanked by his touring band Luke Rice on bass; Dominic Frost on guitar and vocals; Tyler Tomlinson on guitar; Chris Gladden on keys; and Tony Aichele on acoustic guitar.

Three segments later Wallen returned with “Just In Case,” this time kicking off next to a TV console with text periodically flickering, sending fans into a frenzy online about the much rumored album track titles.

“Just In Case” was written by Wallen, John Byron, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Ryan Vojtesak, Josh Thompson, Blake Pendergrass and Alex Bak; and “I’m The Problem” was written by Wallen, Ernest Keith Smith, Ryan Vojtesak, Grady Block and Jamie McLaughlin. Both songs were produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome. Listen to “Just In Case” HERE and “I’m The Problem” below.

Wallen recently became the first artist ever to have two albums spend over 100 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard200 chart, with Forbes proclaiming “he’s managed incredible feats that few in his genre before him came close to.” With each album, Wallen has refined his music, but with this one, Wallen digs even deeper, providing a glimpse into his life that feels more intimate, more grounded, and closer to his core.

The project sparked Wallen’s 2025 I’m The Problem Tour. Kicking off June 20 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, Wallen’s 20-show run will include stops in Seattle, Washington; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario and more. With a second stop recently added in Madison, Wisconsin, Wallen’s appearances will mark the first time an artist has played two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as first-of-three across select dates. Coupled with Wallen’s Sand In My Boots Festival, these 21 shows are the only place to see the superstar in 2025.

About Morgan Wallen:
Morgan Wallen sets the pace in, and beyond, country music – with Billboard calling him “the biggest country star in the world” and The New York Times doubling down, declaring he’s “one of the biggest stars in pop, period.” With 17 No. 1 singles at Country radio, 19 Billboard Music Awards to-date, more than 170 weeks spent atop Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart (the most in country music history), the highest selling country tour under his belt and moreWallen has propelled country music to a global level in less than five years. As Las Vegas Review Journal puts it: “Wallen’s appeal is remarkable as it is fueled by his ability to connect to a crowd.”

With Dangerous: The Double Album, Wallen solidified his place as country music’s “dominant superstar,” with the project recently being named Billboard’s No. 1 Album of the 21st Century. One Thing At A Time’s groundbreaking success saw Wallen’s crossover appeal reach a global scale, as he topped the Australian ARIA charts for the first time, along with a host of other accolades. With two No. 1’s already hailing from his forthcoming album release I’m The Problem, due May 16 via Big Loud / Mercury, Wallen digs even deeper, uncovering a side that’s both more vulnerable and more resolute than ever before.

As Wallen prepares a refreshed setlist for his 20-stadium-show I’m the Problem Tour, kicking off on June 20 in Houston, Texas, he’s also highlighting some of his favorite artists by bringing the personally-curated, multi-genre Sand In My Boots Festival to Gulf Shores, Alabama, this May, which sold out in less than two hours.

Wallen continues to donate a portion of every ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation—which supports youth music and athletic programs and gives communities access to essentials in times of crisis. More at MorganWallen.com.
