Kenny's SO Ready for SPHERE: One Day + Counting...

They loaded in at midnight Sunday. They were up and running Sunday evening. They’ve been rehearsing since Monday, feeling the arc of a whole new set list, songs rarely or never before played – and, of course, many of the favorites of No Shoes Nation.

Almost a year in the making, Kenny Chesney is ready to kick-off his much-vaunted residency at Sphere. All the technology, the vibrance, the ability to immerse No Shoes Nation in the songs that are their life is finally about to happen.

“You can’t truly imagine it,” says the leader of No Shoes Nation. “When people say you have to experience it to really understand, they aren’t kidding. Even with all the simulators, the special editing facilities, the way we have approached rehearsals, it wasn’t until we got inside Sphere that me, the band, the crew and all our road family truly got it. It is a whole other world – and I can’t wait for the people who’ve loved this music so intensely to experience this.

“Experience, because it’s so much more than just seeing a concert.”

A no-holds-barred musical experience, Chesney has refashioned his notoriously quick-hitting set list to create a new live dynamic for his shows. An energetic and emotional rollercoaster, this residency will take fans deeper into the music through the super-specific mix by legendary sound engineer Robert Scovill, the all-new visual presentation and a few surprises the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar has pulled together for this once-in-a-lifetime kind of concert opportunity.

“Keeping the focus on these songs,” the man Wall Street Journal calls “The King of the Road” says, “it made us really creative. Some of what we shot, the way the sound is being sculpted, we’re taking these songs deeper into what they can be – and when we got onstage to start rehearsing, everybody was blown away by how much more every single song seemed to mean.”

As Rolling Stone reported, “No Shoes Nation fandom will descend upon Las Vegas in May… The shows will be a rare chance to see Chesney outside of the massive football stadiums he usually hits on tour.” That means anyone who’s ever heard their life or found their meaning in his 33 No. 1’s and myriad Top 5 and Top 10 hits can get ready for a festival that binds what Variety calls “a concert-going community rivaled perhaps only by Parrotheads and Deadheads” together.

And that starts before the show. Grab a drink at the Spread the Love Bar, an amalgamation of Kenny’s favorite bars at the end of the world and get your vibe right. Hit Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love to experience his journey, no need to even have a ticket to the show! Free to all, spread the love and take that positive energy into the world – or into Sphere where Brandi Cyrus will be throwing down a DJ set to get people dancing, feeling good and ready.

“You really do have to experience it to feel how deep this goes,” Chesney says. “We can’t wait to get everybody into the room to feel that energy. We are always coming to rock No Shoes Nation, and they rock us right back. Something tells me this is going to be even more intense.”

Limited tickets remain for the Sphere residency at KennyChesney.com with packages available via Vibee, the official VIP Concert & Hotel Package partner for Kenny Chesney’s Live at Sphere residency, at KennyChesney.Vibee.com. All Vibee packages offer guests a choice of premium tickets including Sandbar (general admission floor) or reserved seating, a collectable laminate and lanyard, access to the No Shoes Island VIP Pool Party, exclusive Kenny Chesney curated gift bag and early access to the Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love experience on show days for crowd-free shopping on exclusive merch items, and access to a dedicated shopping lane during public hours. Vibee Hotel Packages include a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas (The Venetian or The Palazzo) or Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Oak, Ash & Thorn Announce U.S. Tour

While they're just beginning to kindle the fires for their first offering since signing with Season of Mist, Oak, Ash & Thorn continue to fan the flames from their latest album. Following a mead-crushing performance at Decibel Metal & Beer Fest Denver and hammer-thrusting support dates with inspirations Týr, now, freshly armed as a five-piece, the blackened pagan power metal band are announcing their next tour.

This August, Oak, Ash & Thorn will play six special shows across the Midwest and Southwest. This ship sets sail with a lights-out set in front of their home crowd at Mile High Power Fest and ends with a triumphant return to the nearby kingdom of Colorado Springs. Along the way, the band will dock in Lawrence, Dallas, Austin and Albuquerque for the very first time. Not only is this also their first tour since adding newly knighted axeman Kadin Wisniewski. Along with Our Grief Is Thus, they'll be polishing off an old battle hymn and unsheathing brand new magical odes off their yet-to-be-announced third album.

"Peasants of the Midwest and the Southwest, give heed!" declares Oak, Ash & Thorn. "We, the barbarian war horde of clan Oak, Ash & Thorn, throb with anticipation to man the OATBoat in summer's dying days and set sail across the open...uh...plains? - for lands hitherto unconquered! Lawrence, Austin, Dallas, Albuquerque: lock up your livestock, your gold, your mead and your prettiest among you, for we shall depart from the port of Denver for your shores for the first time ever with fists a-pumping, axes a-swinging! Cower before us as we pillage and plunder amidst rousing choruses of our most stirring battle hymns, including some newly composed, freshly imbued with runic magic that the gods would grant us fortune time and again. Only after quenching our thirst for conquest shall we return to our kingdom in the mountains, our vessel piled high with riches and the spoils of victory, and there shall we celebrate our triumph with a feast in the halls of the great stronghold of Colorado Springs. Hone then your weapons, study your scrolls and join us in bloody revelry!"

Erik Hoffman - Bass
Cierra White - Drums

Origin: Denver, CO
Genre: Blackened Pagan Power Metal

While only loosely constructed as a concept album, with Our Grief is Thus, Oak, Ash & Thorn have built a monumental record. Every song deals with grief in some fashion. "Dying Culture" is about the decay of tradition by way of urbanization and generational decline. "Light My Pyre" tackles betrayal and the dissolution of friendship. "Auras" deals with the erosion (and rejuvenation) of honor and identity in the face of withering familial ties.

Oak, Ash & Thorn recorded their latest album in Ft. Collins, Colorado, at the Blasting Room, which was founded by Black Flag and Descendents drummer Bill Stevenson. Our Grief is Thus marks the first time in the band's history that they have walked out of a studio with an album fully representing their vision.

Having now signed to Season of Mist, they're ready to take their spirited brand of blackened pagan power metal to even greater heights.

Progressive Metal Unit MOTHS Release New Single "Wrath" + Music Video

Today, MOTHS, the progressive metal unit from San Juan, Puerto Rico, are pleased to release "Wrath," the second single from their upcoming album 'Septem,' due out August 1st. The new track arrives alongside an official music video, available to view below.

"Wrath" marks a bold evolution for MOTHS, as they weave Black Metal elements into their signature blend of Doom and Progressive Metal. The track channels overwhelming rage toward a world that offers no compromise—an eruption of frustration against systemic hardship and existential weight. The scorched-earth imagery reflects a desperate desire to start over, even while acknowledging that such renewal is never truly clean. Amidst the track’s unrelenting force, Mariel’s sopranoesque vocals float like a haunting specter—eerie, mysterious, and dark—offering a chilling contrast to the fury beneath. "Wrath" is a statement piece: theatrical, aggressive, and unafraid to confront the chaos head-on.

On the new single, bassist Weslie Negrón comments:

"‘Wrath’ was one of the songs we finished while recording 'Septem' at Romaphonic Studiosin Buenos Aires. I remember how everything came together quickly—it all just made sense, and we ran with it. We loved it from the start. We knew the track needed something eerie and full of depth, and Mariel absolutely delivered. When she added her vocals—especially that final section—it blew us away. The contrast between her soprano-style delivery and the chaos underneath brought out a haunting quality that elevated the whole piece. It’s also one of our favorite tracks to perform live. The energy and aggression in 'Wrath' are unlike anything we’ve done before—it’s intense, and honestly, just so much fun to play."

Watch the Music Video for "Wrath"

MOTHS' upcoming album, 'Septem,' is a visceral journey through the Seven Deadly Sins, with each track embodying a facet of indulgence, obsession, and self-destruction—from the corrosive jealousy of "Envy" to the insatiable hunger of "Gluttony" and the rage of "Wrath." The album plunges listeners into a dark, immersive experience where desire spirals into chaos.

Diving deeper into heavier territory, MOTHS fuse elements of Death and Black Metal with their signature blend of Progressive, Psychedelic, Doom, and Stoner Metal, crafting a sound that’s both aggressive and atmospheric.

'Septem' was recorded in just five days at Romaphonic Studios in Buenos Aires, capturing the raw energy and inspiration of the setting. It also marks the debut of vocalist Mariel Viruet, whose range spans from haunting melodies to visceral screams.

The album was mixed by Walter Chacón (Los Fabulosos Cadillacs) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Between the Buried and Me) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

On the album, Weslie Negrón reflects:

"'Septem' is our most ambitious effort to date. From traveling to another country to record it, to the addition of a new vocalist, and creating it all amidst a world in turmoil—it's incredibly rewarding to finally see it out there. This album contains some of my favorite songs we've ever written as a band. You can feel our chemistry in these tracks, how we came together to make them happen, without any boundaries or 'rules' about how songs should be written. It's an intriguing, unpredictable, and unconventional album, one that I'm sure will feel like a fresh sound to everyone who hears it."

WE CAME AS ROMANS Drop New Single "no rest for the dreamer"

Fresh off their explosive performance at Welcome To Rockville, metalcore vanguards We Came As Romans have released their brand new single, no rest for the dreamer,” today. Debuted live in front of a sea of delighted fans this past weekend, the track continues the band’s powerful new era—first introduced by their previously released anthem Bad Luck—and further sets the stage for the band's upcoming Bad Luck World Tour. Stream "No rest for the dreamer" HERE and watch the accompanying visualizer below.

The track continues the defiant, emotionally charged new chapter the band kicked off with “Bad Luck”— their first release of 2025— and raises the stakes yet again. Rooted in perseverance, ambition, and the refusal to be broken, no rest for the dreamer” is a raw and unrelenting anthem for anyone still clawing toward something better.

“This song is for the ones still fighting for their future,” says frontman Dave Stephens. “The ones who can’t sleep because they’re not done yet. It’s about carrying the weight of your past, knowing you’re still not where you want to be—but refusing to stop anyway.”

Built on a pummeling riff and one of the band’s most hauntingly melodic choruses to date, the song’s lyrics confront internal trauma, self-doubt, and the compulsion to run straight into the storm: “So why are you standing in the rain? What do you want to wash away?”

The release follows the huge momentum of Bad Luck”, which launched the band's new 2025 chapter with a thunderous statement of resilience. With a stacked schedule of touring, festival appearances, and more new music ahead, “no rest for the dreamer” is both a battle cry and a brutal reckoning.

We Came As Romans hit the road this summer for the Bad Luck 2025 World Tour, beginning with a huge North American run on July 22 in Toronto and wrapping August 23 in Detroit, followed by an extensive European/UK leg in the fall. ABOUT WE CAME AS ROMANS

We Came As Romans continue to progress and evolve at lightspeed, maintaining a place at the forefront of heavy music and culture. Never content to follow, they seamlessly alchemize crushing groove-driven catharsis, spacey electronics, and arena-size singalongs into a sound that refuses to sit still—effortlessly moving between metal, alternative, hardcore, and rock.

The Michigan-born five-piece—Dave StephensJoshua MooreLou CottonAndy Glass, and David Puckett—first broke through with Tracing Back Roots (2013), which cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10 and hit #1 on both the Independent Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Their self-titled 2015 album followed, debuting at #11 on the Billboard 200, cementing their status as modern metalcore royalty.

Following the tragic loss of original vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band has continued to honor his legacy with their 2022 album, Darkbloom, their highest-praised record to date. Kerrang! awarded it 4 out of 5 stars, calling it “a carrier for a knot of emotion, and a tribute to their friend.” It featured career-defining tracks like “Black Hole” (ft. Caleb Shomo), now over 102 million Spotify streams, and “Daggers” (ft. Zero 9:36), which surpassed 32 million streams. Media outlets including Loudwire and Consequence praised the album for its emotional range, sonic heft, and unapologetic vulnerability.

Now, with “Bad Luck” and “no rest for the dreamer” the band charges into a new era—scarred, sharpened, and more fearless than ever.

Wallen Celebrates Album Release at Multi-Genre Inaugural SAND IN MY BOOTS FESTIVAL

On the heels of his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, becoming the most-streamed country album of the year so far on Apple, Spotify and Amazon within hours of its release on Friday (May 16), Wallen debuted seven of the albums’ tracks live for the first time last night in Gulf Shores, Alabama for his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival.

With an entire news vertical from Gulf Coast Media Group dedicated to the sold-out, multi-genre festival, curated by Wallen and produced by AEG Presents, the weekend featured an eclectic mix of more than 30 of his favorite artists and inspirations, including Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, The War On Drugs, T-Pain, Three 6 Mafia and more. Wallen concluded the festival, his first show of 2025, with a 23-song setlist, taking the stage on the final night with his signature “Broadway Girls” walk out.

“Me and a couple of my closest friends and teammates, we’ve been throwing the idea of doing a festival around for a long time now, and we just happened to run into the right partner and the right people to work with. With a lot of hard work, and a lot of really great artists to come out here, we got to make that happen,” Wallen stated, as 40,000 fans flanked the 1980s-inspired 160 feet wide by 70 feet tall stage, a fully custom build designed by Clio Award-winning studio Raw Cereal and marking their largest festival build to date. “We’ll try to do it again sometime,” he grinned, before diving into the rest of his setlist.

From there, Wallen toggled between certified hits, while testing the waters with live debuts of title track “I’m The Problem;” the Grammy.com-praised “deceptively smooth-sounding” “Kick Myself;” “Don’t We,” declared an “arena-ready track” by Billboard“I’m A Little Crazy,” noted as “a gorgeous paranoiac ballad” by Washington Post; “I Got Better;” “Superman” and “Just In Case.”

Bailey Zimmerman and ERNEST each joined Wallen on-stage halfway through his set, the former to perform Wallen’s 5x-Platinum hit “Up Down,” hailing from his debut album If I Know Me; the latter joining for the duo’s Platinum-certified “Cowgirls” off One Thing At A Time.

Concluding the night with his breakthrough 2018 hit, “The Way I Talk,” Wallen thanked his fans for their continued support, “Thank each and every one of you guys for making this possible… for supporting me, for supporting my new album. I love each and every one of y’all!”

Photo Credit: Alive Coverage for Sand In My Boots

Dubbed a “self-examining storytelling extravaganza” by Billboard, I’m The Problem features 37 tracks, and combines Wallen’s country, cross and dirt-rock influences, underscored by collaborations with pop superstars Post Malone and Tate McRae, plus close friends Eric Church, ERNEST and HARDY. The fusion of influences left Grammy.com lauding, “[Wallen] remains as eclectic as ever, shifting easily from R&B-inflected slow jams to rough-and-ready outlaw country stomps.”

While Wallen co-wrote 22 of the tracks, he tapped into 49 songwriters, curating a tracklist that’s both deeply personal and resonant, viewing life events through a different lens than he’s used in the past. Hits Daily Double observes that the result is “a 37-song cycle of self-reckoning,” adding, “he doesn’t sugarcoat or make excuses.”

Wallen’s coinciding 2025 I’m The Problem Tour kicks off June 20 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The 20-show run will include stops in Seattle, Washington; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario and more. With a second stop added in Madison, Wisconsin, Wallen’s appearances will mark the first time an artist has played two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as first-of-three across select dates. Coupled with last weekend’s Sand In My Boots Festival and a special one-night-only album release celebration show on May 28 at Roundhouse in London, these 22 shows are the only place to see the superstar in 2025.

About Morgan Wallen:
Morgan Wallen sets the pace in, and beyond, country music – with Billboard calling him “the biggest country star in the world” and The New York Times doubling down, declaring he’s “one of the biggest stars in pop, period.” With 18 No. 1 singles at Country radio, 19 Billboard Music Awards to-date, more than 170 weeks spent atop Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart (the most in country music history), the highest selling country tour under his belt and more, Wallen has propelled country music to a global level in less than five years. As Las Vegas Review Journal puts it: “Wallen’s appeal is remarkable as it is fueled by his ability to connect to a crowd.”

With Dangerous: The Double Album, Wallen solidified his place as country music’s “dominant superstar,” with the project recently being named Billboard’s No. 1 Album of the 21st Century. One Thing At A Time’s groundbreaking success saw Wallen’s crossover appeal reach a global scale, as he topped the Australian ARIA charts for the first time, along with a host of other accolades. With three No. 1’s already hailing from his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, available now via Big Loud / Mercury, Wallen digs even deeper, uncovering a side that’s both more vulnerable and more resolute than ever before.

As Wallen prepares a refreshed setlist for his 20-stadium-show I’m the Problem Tour, kicking off on June 20 in Houston, Texas, he also highlighted some of his favorite artists by bringing the personally-curated, multi-genre Sand In My Boots Music Festival to Gulf Shores, Alabama in May.

Wallen continues to donate a portion of every ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation — which supports youth music and athletic programs and gives communities access to essentials in times of crisis. More at MorganWallen.com.

ABOUT ATTACK ATTACK!

If you went to Warped Tour in the mid 2000’s, shopped at Hot Topic, or were active on Myspace; then you have heard the name “Attack Attack!” While the band’s early career was relatively short-lived, their reputation has done nothing but grow since the band went on indefinite hiatus in 2013. Known for incorporating dance/electronica music with metal, the band consistently bent the rules of songwriting. They took the sounds they liked and crafted seemingly incompatible genres into anthems for local Ohio scene kids, and later, audiences across the globe. After years of silence, Attack Attack!exploded back onto the scene in 2020. They’re here to remind you that rules are made to be broken, adversity is meant to be overcome, and that legends never die.

ICE NINE KILLS: Hell of A Summer US Headline Tour

ce Nine Kills have announced the ICE NINE KILLS: HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR, a brand new US headline run kicking off this August. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will bring the band’s twisted theatricality and cinematic carnage to arenas and amphitheaters across the country, closing out with a homecoming performance at Worcester’s DCU Center as part of the band’s annual Silver Scream Con.

The tour’s lineup spans a cross-section of modern heavy music’s most dynamic voices. From August 8 through August 31, Ice Nine Kills will be joined by Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and The Funeral Portrait. Beginning September 2, pop-punk cult icons Mest will also join the bill, continuing through the final dates in Florida. The September 13 show at Silver Scream Con will feature Dayseeker, The Funeral Portrait, Mest, and a very special guest appearance by A Loss for Words, closing out the run in chaotic style.

Spencer Charnas, vocalist and creative architect of Ice Nine Kills, shares:

“The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR will be a celebration of all things INK — past, present, and future.

It’s an eclectic bill, and having MEST on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me. As many Psychos will remember, I formed the band after seeing Goldfinger and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago.

The date is so important to me that I have it tattooed behind my ear.

The tour culminates in a sure-to-be historic performance at the DCU Center, where I experienced some of my first arena shows as a kid, including the Family Values Tour with our current tourmates, Limp Bizkit, and home of the Silver Scream Con.

The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR’s last stop, at the Silver Scream Con, will also feature some New England punk rock royalty as a very special guest.”

Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale via Ice Nine Kills 'Psychos Only’ app, beginning Monday, May 19 at 11am ET / 8am PT. Additional presales—including Citi, Live Nation, Spotify, Knotfest, and more—will run throughout the week. The general on sale begins Friday, May 23 at 10am local time at IceNineKills.com/tour.

About Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills spread cavalier carnage with a knowing smile, as evidenced by the densely catchy songs on their pair of breakthrough albums, The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. The INKverse boasts a series of high-concept, cinematic videos; the Psychos Only club; a mock “true crime” book; the Inked in Blood graphic novels; monthly “Nightmare on the 9th” merch drops; and the annual INK-curated Silver Scream Convention weekends. In 2024, Silver Scream Con moved into the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, not far from the North Shore birthplace of Ice Nine Kills. Led by Spencer Charnas, the internationally acclaimed band, who mix extreme metal with melody, toured with Slipknot in 2022 and was handpicked by Metallica for the M72 World Tour in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The horror community Spencer grew up loving has embraced his band in return. INK’s “A Work of Art”plays in 2024’s Terrifier 3, now the highest-grossing unrated film ever.  The single debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and has remained on the chart for over 18 weeks and counting, while accumulating over 35 million streams to date. Spencerrecently launched the Pretty Evil personal care line and revealed he’s co-written the forthcoming feature film The Slashin’ of the Christ, produced by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead).

Hailed by Loudwire as “one of the most unique acts in metal right now,” Ice Nine Kills captivates with inventive band-fan connections, immersive, theatrical live shows, and a growing legion of "pyschos" the world over. With over 2.03 million monthly Spotify listeners, 1.4 billion career streams, and 400 million YouTube views, the band has cemented itself as a dominant and visionary force in modern metal, fearlessly carving out a thrilling, horror-inspired legacy.

LEGENDARY AC/DC SINGER BON SCOTT'S 79TH BIRTHDAY TO BE CELEBRATED WITH NYC TRIBUTE CONCERT,

July 9th will mark the great Bon Scott's 79th birthday, and to celebrate, the Second Annual Official Bon Scott Birthday Bash will take part that day at the Bowery Electric in NYC. The event will feature Living Colour's Corey Glover, Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Peter Shaw, and Cactus' Jimmy Kunes, among many others. Special guest openers Ravagers. Additionally, this year marks the 50-year mark since AC/DC's classic debut album, High Voltage – which spawned such all-time classic rock anthems as "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock n' Roll)," "Live Wire," and "TNT," among others. Also, if you caught AC/DC on their current PWRUP tour, you would have been treated to 10 (out of 21) Bon-era songs.

Few rock singers were as unforgettable – and have proved as enduring – as Bon Scott. As the frontman of AC/DC from 1974 until his tragic passing in 1980 (at the age of 33), his “rock n’ roll pirate persona,” street poet lyrics, and striking image (one of the first rockers to proudly sport multiple tattoos) have made him an absolute legend. Additionally, Bon’s vocals were featured in several pre-AC/DC bands, including Fraternity, the Valentines, and the Spektors.

But really, it is the quality of the songs of the “Bon-era” of AC/DC that serve as his greatest legacy – “Highway to Hell,” “Sin City,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”…the list is seemingly endless.

How does Bon measure up to rock’s all-time great frontmen? Classic Rock Magazine declared him “The Greatest Rock n’ Roll Front Man of All Time” in 2004, beating out the lofty likes of Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, and Axl Rose in the process.

And now the spirit of Bon Scott lives on with the upcoming second annual tribute show.

Bryce Leatherwood Set To Perform On "Today With Jenna & Friends" This Wednesday, May 14

Mercury Nashville singer/songwriter Bryce Leatherwood is set to perform on NBC’s “Today with Jenna & Friends” this Wednesday, May 14. The appearance will give fans a preview of the self-titled debut album arriving this Friday, May 16, from the season 22 winner of “The Voice.” “Today with Jenna & Friends” airs at 10 am local time (check local NBC listings).

Leatherwood is also set to return to "The Voice" stage for the NBC hit's finale on May 20. He joins a star-studded line-up that will include performances from Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, Chance the Rapper, Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas, Kelly Clarkson and more.

The rising country star built his country-music foundations while bumping along in an old pickup on his granddad’s farm, legends like George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty crooned through fuzzy speakers, with their passion and conviction striking a chord. Now, the Woodstock, Georgia native is carrying those influences with him for his highly anticipated debut.

Pre-order Bryce Leatherwood HERE.

A mix of originals and expertly crafted outside cuts, Leatherwood lets his resonate vocal loose over 12 diverse tunes – centered on his rock solid country roots, but ranging from the pure-emotion of classic balladry to an expanding genre’s bleeding edge. Taking a hands-on approach with producer Will Bundy (Riley Green, Ella Langley), Leatherwood threads the needle between the timeless and trendy with surefooted ease.

“I’ve dreamt of making a record since the first day I picked up a guitar at 12 years old,” reflects Leatherwood. “I’ve spent the past two years developing this album, choosing each song with intention, creating the best introduction to who I am as an artist. I’m beyond proud of how it turned out, and can’t wait to share it with y’all.”

2024 was a landmark year for Leatherwood, which included making his Opry debut and headlining his first tour, the Neon Does Tour. And the country crooner is just getting started. He is set to return to the Good Molecules Reverb Stage at CMA Fest next month and has stops at festivals across the US this summer with more touring news to be announced soon.

About Bryce Leatherwood:
Singer/songwriter Bryce Leatherwood aims to carry the torch of country music and continue the legacy of legends prior. Born and raised in Woodstock, GA, his passion for music began at an early age. Working on his grandfather’s farm every summer, Leatherwood was exposed to the classic country hits of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Soon thereafter he began picking up guitars and playing the traditional country music that inspires him today. Leatherwood’s music career began to blossom in Statesboro, GA, where he attended Georgia Southern University. During his time in Statesboro, Leatherwood played college venues and continued to grow his stage presence and his country music repertoire. While in college, Leatherwood formed his band and began playing all around the Southeast. Just weeks after graduating college, Bryce set his mind on a new task. In 2022, Leatherwood competed on the NBC hit television show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December. Following his success, Leatherwood moved to Nashville where he has been songwriting and recording for his debut album on Mercury Records. A next generation traditionalist plugged firmly into the modern mainstream, with all the hallmarks of a rising star, Leatherwood concluded his first-ever headlining tour, The Neon Does Tour last year, made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Sept. 14, 2024, and he returns to Good Molecules Reverb Stage at CMA Fest this year. He is set to release his self-titled debut album on May 16, 2025 featuring latest releases “Where the Bar Is” and “Shenandoah.” For the latest, visit bryceleatherwood.com.

Ashley McBryde Receives Doctorate of Music from Alma Mater Arkansas State University

Ashley McBryde joined Arkansas State’s Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony this morning, Saturday May 10, to receive her Honorary Doctorate of Music, with Chancellor Todd Shields recognizing that her “determination and contributions to American Music is a testament to the opportunities that higher education can open and inspire for generations of Arkansas State University alums.” Watch McBryde receive her Doctorate of Music HERE and transcription of her remarks below:

“Earning a degree in music has always been something I've placed a lot of value in. It was something I felt I needed to accomplish. In my time here at A-State, I found my passion not only for performing, but for creating other musicians. The music education program is priceless. I'm so thankful for educators that pushed me to strive for excellence: Greg and Hope Bruner, Robin Dauer, Ed Alexander, Doctor Ken Carroll, Doctor Tom O'Connor and so many more. While my path to music education wound up looking a little different than a traditional one, I never lost my passion for music education, and I work alongside music educators every chance I get. Thank you for shaping me into the advocate I became, the musician I am today and the entrepreneur I didn't know I was going to have to be.

There are doctors in my family, Doctors of Medicine, so I know that when you address someone by that word, you're acknowledging their rank. You're acknowledging a lifetime – time, money, effort, everything they've got that they've spent in pursuit of excellence in their chosen field. The residencies, internships, fellowships, the many accomplishments and the many failures it takes to accomplish them. I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of and the magic of making music, and hopefully I will inspire others to do so.

This stage became my classroom. Board proficiencies were in rooms of tens and then one hundreds and then thousands - those are hard to pass. I've been judged on late night TV shows, morning talk shows, award shows. Those are especially hard to pass because all of social media is there to give you a pass or fail grade on the spot. The people making remarks are the icons and legends of my field, and they just so happen to be names you're familiar with: Wynonna Judd, Vince Gill, Hank Williams Jr. My classmates were Luke Combs, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, Jon Pardi – it sounds like I'm name dropping, but these are the people I went into the trenches with.

I left this campus as a broke, guitar playing, songwriting chick who played in bars for a living, and I stand here today as a GRAMMY-Award winning songwriter. A member of the Grand Ole Opry. And I look forward to being introduced on that sacred stage this week as Dr. Ashley McBryde. Thank you so much.”

McBryde will perform at Opry 100 Honors: Loretta Lynn this Tuesday, May 13. She’s set to perform at CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium; Country Thunder Wisconsin and Alberta; WE Fest; and more festivals this summer among headlining dates. She will also join Little Big Town in West Palm Beach, FL and Orange Beach, AL in August. For tickets and additional information, visit AshleyMcBryde.com.

BLACKLIST UNION Unveil Official Music Video for Single "Mississippi Moonhound"

Blacklist Union return with new single "Mississippi Moonhound"— a swampy, swaggering anthem delivering a powerful blast of wild and untamed rock ‘n’ roll. The new single captures the feeling of being haunted by your past while howling into the night for something more. Blacklist Union’s new album Slay the Dragon is scheduled for September 2025 and will be their sixth full-length release.

In celebration of the release, Blacklist Union unveiled the official music video for "Mississippi Moonhound" which can be seen below:

Blacklist Union have built a reputation on their explosive live shows and unapologetically bold sound. Their previous record, Letters from the Psych Ward, racked up over two million streams, setting the stage for the band’s new album.

Frontman Tony West, known for his larger-than-life presence, took time out to dive deep into several transformative ayahuasca journeys in the heart of the Amazon, preparing for this next era of music.

As Tony put it, “Ayahuasca isn’t a drug—it’s powerful spiritual medicine from another realm. It helped me heal in ways I never thought possible, releasing layers of trauma, heartache, and sorrow. I’m not perfect—not Gandhi or anything—but it changed everything. My entire view of myself, love, the world, people, and my children changed because of those experiences.”

"Mississippi Moonhound" was written by Tony West / Christopher Johnson, produced by Christopher Johnson, and mixed by Claudio Cueni. It was recorded at East West Studios in Hollywood, CA.

Blacklist Union frontman Tony West was raised in the Bronx on The Ramones, Bad Brains, and NYHC. Hearing the call of the wild west, he made his way to Los Angeles at 19 years old.

Tony took a break from L.A. to try out Memphis in 1998. While he was there, he attended the first Saliva gig with Paul Crosby on drums. This marked the beginning of a lifelong friendship between Paul and Tony, leading to management, song collaborations, and guest appearances in a few videos. Tony collaborated with guitarist Todd Youth (Murphy’s Law /Danzig) and Malfunkshun, which was kept active by Andy Wood’s brother Kevin Wood. Andy Wood is Tony’s muse, and he was honored to sing in his hero’s band.

I formed Blacklist Union because I wanted to play music that I wanted to hear, and we put out the first Blacklist Union record, After the Mourning, in 2006. The band’s name comes from getting the best musicians with the worst reputations in town. With a shamanistic blend of Stone Temple Pilots, Guns N’ Roses, Warrior Soul, The Cult, and Mother Love Bone... Blacklist Union was born.

HOT MILK Share "Insubordinate Ingerland" Off of Album "Corporation P.O.P" Out June 27

HOT MILK have released the rampant "Insubordinate Ingerland," a quintessentially tongue-in-cheek take on the band's home turf, their own accidental football anthem. It might be dressed up as an open-top bus parade, but the song's sarcastic undertone encapsulates the album in a nutshell.

"A necessary excursion that was born quickly and forcibly. We had no choice in this song coming out of us, probably the quickest song we ever wrote lyrically. In modern-day England, it is difficult to know where we stand in a wishy washy world of identity politics. Who are we? Who are they telling us we are? What do we stand for? Why is the poverty gap widening? Why are old people freezing? Why is the NHS in disarray? Is our culture just the pub? But I love the pub? Is that bad? Am I just on the bevs to forget the bollocks outside? I’m so confused. This song is just that, a confused, hyperbolic look and an aggravated poke at ourselves. I'm England til I die… because I have no choice and this place might be the death of me yet," says Han Mee.

Jim Shaw continues, "The fun thing about 'Insubordinate Ingerland' is that Han has had that tattooed on her terribly for a number of years as a sort of reflection as to the crumbling state of a nation that tends to do what it wants. For better or for worse. She thought, 'Fuck it, let's turn my stupid stick 'n' poke into a song' and here we are. What's extra fun about this song is that we roped in so many mates to make it… the gang vocals were recorded by Jim in his front room in Salford with all our mates after tea one night. The video was shot in Bolton with our mates as extras and our long-term collaborator and friend Kennedy as director. It looks a lot more expensive than it was…Good lad, Kennedy."

Hot Milk's sophomore album, Corporation P.O.P is set for release on June 27 via Music For Nations.

Pre-order the album here.

If Hot Milk's 2023 debut album A CALL TO THE VOID was the band's high-octane mission statement, the world isn’t ready to meet its fierce, rough-and-ready older sibling. Roaring into their next era, Hot Milk now proudly present Corporation P.O.P. — an extravagant, uncompromising assessment of the perilous world around us, examined through a sharp British lens that is both witty and universal.

Corporation P.O.P, produced by Jim Shaw, Zach Jones, and KJ Strock, offers the band at their heaviest with their raw, unapologetic lyrics which brim with unfiltered emotion. The record serves as part social commentary, showing the darker side to the world which they found themselves surrounded by when writing the record, all the while keeping their light, mocking humor throughout.

"Corporation P.O.P is a flurry of thoughts, feelings, ramblings from the answers 'n questions about where we’re at right now in England, the further western world and emotionally. It is an entry from the perspective of us lot who live a dichotomy of months in faraway lands and then experience the sudden grounding of returning home to Salford. It's hard not to compare, contrast, and try to understand. P.O.P = Payment of Pain. We all must live with the burden of modernity and this pain has been commodified; we all must pay. 'Corporation pop' itself is a term Hans grandad used to refer to the water supply, something that runs throughout all our homes, just as current events run through us all," says Jim Shaw.

Shaw continues, "Not saying we have the answers but the conversation should ALWAYS be open, bring logic and evidence, and everyone should be able to change their mind, we are never finished articles. In a time where the doomsday clock ticks closer and warfare looms, it seems prudent to look introspectively into the human condition and attempt to understand the bigger picture to find a solution. The truth about ourselves can lie somewhere in between, and the imperfections can be difficult to accept for some.

"Violence through expression, warfare through persuasion and I will cause irritation through takin the piss n goin' slightly above my station. Fuck it, that's where the fun lies. It doesn't always need to be said with a straight face."

The album was written and recorded both in their Salford flat and a live room in LA, producing songs that capture that live energy they are known for, with new tracks are poised for stages the world over.

"We wanted to bring it home on this record, shooting videos/photos in our backyards and out and about in Salford. This is about us, so visually it should be about us too.  Written in northern Hollywood and a bedroom in Salford opposite an Aldi, this is a true juxtaposition of an album," says Han Mee.

The album will be available as Color LP, Band Store Exclusive LP, and CD.

Morgan Wallen’s Final Release, “Superman,” Ahead of I’M THE PROBLEM

With one week remaining until the release of his full-length, fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, Morgan Wallen is offering fans one final taste of the upcoming project with the release of the highly-anticipated song dedicated to his son, “Superman,” available now. Listen Below

Wallen originally teased the up-tempo ballad, which he co-wrote alongside Ryan Vojtesak, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass and James Maddocks, on Instagram in February. The clip instantly drew excitement from fans, with Billboard praising its “self-aware lyrics.”

Wallen opened up about the song on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend stating, “I've tried so many times to write a song like that for him, and it always fell flat. I also didn't want to write a song to him that was all sappy and slow, and just what you would expect a dad's son song to be. That song has been written plenty enough and I wanted it to keep a little bit of my sound and my swag and just to be honest. And I feel like we accomplished that when we wrote it.”

I’m The Problem combines Wallen’s country, cross and dirt-rock influences, and features collaborations with pop superstars Post Malone and Tate McRae, plus close friends Eric Church, ERNEST and HARDY. Pre-save I’m The Problem HERE.

The album opens with the title track, “I’m The Problem,” a cutting double-edged confession that reveals the complexities of a relationship at its lowest point. It concludes with “I’m A Little Crazy,” a quiet, self-reflective song that looks inward while examining the world outside. Between all of that, Wallen displays his ability to reach listeners on a granular level.

While Wallen co-wrote 22 of the tracks on the album, he tapped into 49 songwriters, curating a tracklist that’s both deeply personal and resonant, while viewing life events through a different lens than he’s used in the past.

I’m The Problem on vinyl & CD will be available for purchase on MorganWallen.com. Additionally, a special collector’s edition vinyl featuring a collectable hunting ID and CD with a collectable fishing ID will be available only at Target. Pre-order now.

The upcoming project sparked Wallen’s 2025 I’m The Problem Tour. Kicking off June 20 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, Wallen’s 20-show run will include stops in Seattle, Washington; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario and more. With a second stop recently added in Madison, Wisconsin, Wallen’s appearances will mark the first time an artist has played two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as first-of-three across select dates. Coupled with Wallen’s Sand In My Boots Festival and a special one-night-only album release celebration show May 28 at Roundhouse in London, these 22 shows are the only place to see the superstar in 2025.

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild has today unleashed their powerful new track "Omens" and the accompanying visualizer, with an official music video to follow (via Sumerian Records). When asked about the track, Jylshared:

"'OMENS' is an anthem for those done performing. Our song calls out the masks we all are subconsciously conditioned to wear to survive in life and the tragic loops they lead us into. Mick Blankenship Releases New EP "Legacy" on May 11th; Signs to Paul Crosby Management

Hard rock artist Mick Blankenship releases a powerful new chapter in his musical journey: Legacy, a six-track E.P. featuring five brand-new originals and a striking cover of Queensrÿche’s classic “Silent Lucidity.” Marking his third studio release, Legacy finds Blankenship boldly reinventing his sound with a fresh edge, and raw intensity.

For the first time, Blankenship collaborates with co-writer and co-producer Noah Henson (Brantley Gilbert, Pillar), ushering in a modernized era of Hard Rock music. The E.P. is anchored by the electrifying singles “Sands of Time” and “Change of Season,” each showcasing Blankenship’s signature vocal grit and sonic force.

Legacy is a loud, raw,  villainous, "in your face" kind of album filled with familiar references to throwback bands like Motley Crue and Van Halen, but has the power of bands like Disturbed and Shinedown to deliver the new sound Blankenship has been cultivating.

In addition to the release of Legacy, Blankenship has officially signed with Paul Crosby Management. Paul Crosby, best known as the former drummer of the multi-platinum rock band Saliva, brings years of experience and industry insight to the team as Blankenship enters this next phase of his career.
