Corey Kent Teams with Lauren Alaina for Latest Release "Now or Never"

Sony Music Nashville artist Corey Kent has spent more than 15 years cutting his own path through a tangled wilderness of stumbles and setbacks … and never once come close to waving a white flag. The result…he is about to release his sophomore album, Black Bandana, Sept. 6, 2024 and will kick off his headlining Black Bandana Tour on Sept. 21. The platinum-selling Kent has given fans another taste of the upcoming  project today with the release of “Now or Never” featuring Lauren Alaina. Listen to “ Now or Never” Below and pre-save Black Bandana HERE

"'Now or Never' is a song about drawing a line in the sand for yourself,” shared Kent. “It’s about loving somebody but refusing to let them continue to hurt you by taking a stand and asking your partner to make up their mind... 'You either love me or you don’t.’"

“I am so excited to be a part of this song with Corey,” said Alaina. “I think the message is super powerful. It’s okay to love someone and take a stand for yourself when needed. I am honored Corey asked me to be a part of it. I can’t wait to see where the song takes us.”

Written by Sam Ellis, Ryan Hurd and Geoff Warburton and produced by Chris Farren, “Now or Never” finds Kent channeling the ’80s-rock anthems that helped give his childhood a soundtrack turning it into an orchestral-rock power ballad... and a duet of epic emotional proportions. Featuring the crystalline vocal counterpoint of Lauren Alaina, a pair of lovers resolve to give their volatile connection a final ultimatum –make it work now, or break it off entirely.

A Bixby, Oklahoma native now based in Dallas, the proud husband and father has become a decorated artist on the rise, growing from humble heartland roots into a Platinum certified Number One hit maker with 940 million career streams, and a black bandana on his neck. But today, that Black Bandana is more than an accessory – and not just the name of his sophomore major-label album. It’s his rally cry.

“It started from riding motorcycles and wanting something over your face so you didn’t swallow a bug,” the singer-songwriter says. “But then it turned into a staple I wear on stage, and then a symbol of the path through my career, and life. Through all the ups and downs, the one constant thing was this relentless hope – this relentless pursuit of believing that if I don’t give up, I can get where I’m going.”

With a self-built story that has seen success and disaster, keeping that belief wasn’t always easy – but it’s been paying off. Rising from the vibrant Red Dirt country scene as the embodiment of authenticity, Kent set his sights on Nashville as a teen, bringing his self-penned catalog of country-rock anthems with him. But after the pandemic coincided with the loss of his first publishing deal, Kent was forced to move to Texas and get a job on a paving crew to pay the bills, yet he stubbornly refused to call music quits. Honky-tonks and dancehalls on both sides of the Red River became his stomping ground, and slowly but surely, the black bandana spirit grew.

Fast forward a few years and the hit single “Wild As Her” proved he was right all along. An untamed tribute to a free-spirited stunner, the track re-invigorated Kent’s career as a Platinum-certified No. 1 at country radio, and the lead single off his major label album debut, Blacktop. And while momentum kept building, with Kent hitting the road alongside Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum and more, the mainstream moved to claim they knew it all along. Next-big-thing accolades came in from CMT, Opry Next Stage and more, but even as Kent became the most played new artist on country radio for all of 2023, he kept the underdog, who-cares-about-conventional-wisdom mentality. And so did his fans.

For Kent, the point was that his fans have the same independent spirit he does, and he took that lesson into his next chapter. Settled into his ranch in Texas and intent on being fully present as husband and father, while also achieving his dreams, his second album is all about finding balance, keeping clear eyes on what’s important – and waving that Black Bandana for all to see.

Co-writing six of Black Bandana’s 10 songs, what Kent ultimately wanted was to mix themes of integrity, resilience and family with a sonic setting befitting the mission. Finding the midway point between cinematic electric guitars and heart-pounding drums meet a warm, gravel-road rasp, as Kent brings classic rock into the present tense.

“We all face our own demons. We all face our own setbacks, and I hope this record serves as encouragement,” he says. “It would be really easy to lean on the past and go ‘Look at what I’ve done,’ but I’m still excited about the records I’ve yet to create. I’m excited about the shows I haven’t played yet. I’m excited about unlocking new levels of my craft, and writing more songs that people connect with deeply. …I still live for those moments.”

Kent is also connecting with friends on the road in his new podcast “Bus Call.” The podcast finds Kent chatting with everyone from country music star Bailey Zimmerman to 2023 Doak Walker Award winner, OSU Running Back Ollie Gordon. The Texas Troubadour and his guests share laughs, inspirational moments and talk through the ups and downs of both business and personal lifeListen to the first two episodes of season one now and stay tuned for a new episode each month.

The Oklahoma native will be joined by Braxton Keith, Kaitlin Butts, Max McNown, Karley Scott Collins and Lauren Watkins on select dates for his headlining, international Black Bandana Tour, which kick-offs in Paso Robles California on Sept. 21. The road warrior will trek across both the U.S. and U.K. with stops in New York, Boston, Atlanta, Dublin, London and more into early 2025. Tickets are on sale now. Brantley Gilbert Releases "Dirty Money" ft. Justin Moore from Highly Anticipated 'Tattoos'

ith his seventh studio album arriving on September 13 via The Valory Music Co., multi-Platinum country rocker Brantley Gilbert releases the final preview of Tattoos with “Dirty Money” featuring Justin Moore, an industrial-strength anthem and a true blue-collar banger in tribute to the clean conscious that comes from a lifetime of sweat equity. Listen to “Dirty Money” below and pre-save/pre-order Tattoos HERE.

Written by Gilbert with Josh Phillips, “Dirty Money” opens the project with a thunderclap of self-sufficient pride and wastes no time bringing the Georgia native’s world into focus, breaking through a peaceful calm with pounding drums, mile-deep distortion and Gilbert’s smoke-and-soul vocal:

Working with primary co-producer Brock Berryhill, Tattoos matches Gilbert’s ink in both striking design and depth of meaning. Through flowing curves and jagged lines, shadow and light look back on a life of blue-collar pride and full-throttle rebellion – along with addictive love, abiding faith and blessings beyond what any of us deserve.

The result is an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, as Gilbert delivers another full-spectrum soundtrack to modern country life. But this time, he was careful to put an emphasis on his early days, both in sound and substance. Focusing on real instruments over synthetic effects, molten hot power chords and solos which rip the fabric of space and time pair with thundering drums and Gilbert’s diesel-powered vocal, more dynamic here than it has been in years – and put to use in a variety of big-picture, small-town settings.

In celebration of his new album Tattoos, Gilbert will headline Brantley Gilbert’s World’s Largest Album Release Party on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Friday, September 13. The free multi-artist concert is part of FREEDOM FRIDAY events kicking off the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix weekend (September 13-15). Presented by 1st Phorm Energy, with additional partnership from Rousch, Polaris, and Modern Buggy, the 4th annual FREEDOM FRIDAY concert honors members of the Military, Police, Fire, First Responders and Frontline Heroes. The 160th Special Ops Aviation Regiment will perform a helicopter aerial demonstration and a pre-concert flyover by the 101st Airborne Division.

“Dirty Money” featuring Justin Moore follows the release of “Me And My House” featuring Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones, a hand-over-heart declaration of purpose and a defiant tip of the hat to the independent country rap world Gilbert has always admired, as each collaborator wrote and performed their own verses. Watch the official music video HERE.

As lead single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke climbs the charts at country radio after being most added upon its debut, Gilbert’s headlining Off The Rails Tour continues August 30 in Kettering, Ohio, with stops in Duluth, Minn., Council Bluffs, Iowa and Goddard, Kan. through the fall. ABOUT MOVEMENTS:
It's been a whirlwind few years for Movements as evidenced by the fact that band's 2020 album No Good Left to Give debuted at #3 on the Alternative chart and their streams have doubled since then with 300 million total streams in the U.S. alone. However, despite their success, the Southern Californian act have constantly reinvented themselves since forming in 2015 and the band's third full-length RUCKUS! sees the post-hardcore quartet taking their sound to expansive and sometimes unexpected places. Produced by longtime collaborator Will Yip (Circa Survive, Code Orange), the album fuses post-hardcore and punk influences with a healthy dose of pop songcraft to create an album that defies scene conventions in favor of something wholly unique. In order to accomplish this, the band made three extended trips to Yip's Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, to write and record the collection of songs that would end up as RUCKUS! "I truly don't believe that it could have been a more streamlined process and I don't think we've ever written music that's as good as what we put together for this record," Miranda explains. RUCKUS! sees the band integrating decidedly different influences such as Gorillaz and Strokes into their sound to challenge people's preconceptions.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down: The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. His 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no- holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” and the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” and “Good Die Young” plus the Gold-certified “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has 2.8 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” In 2023 alone, he sold more than 275,000 tickets, and appeared for a third time on POLLSTAR’s Top Worldwide Tours. Wetzel has played prominent festival sets this summer and opened for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour in Texas, while also headlining his own Damn Near Normal World Tour, currently underway. His new album, 9 Lives (Columbia), is available everywhere now as lead single “High Road” with Jessie Murph arrives as his debut Country radio single while also climbing both the Hot AC and Top 40 charts.

NE OBLIVISCARIS Remaster 'Citadel' for 10th Anniversary

"Citadel is a blind plunge well worth taking...Ne Obliviscaris have crafted all their wild conceits into sprawling epics that flow with grace and fortitude" - Metal Hammer

"It will stand the test of time...Sit back, and drink the spirit of good metal with no regrets" - Metal Injection

"Nigh-on masterful" - Angry Metal Guy (4.5/5)

"Never before have we seen such range from a violinist in this context, all performed with maximum control and in such a way that the instrument rarely feels out of place or in any way a gimmick" - Heavy Blog is Heavy (4.5/5)

Ever since their inception, NE OBLIVISCARIS have surged forth as titans of progressive metal. Their complex soundscapes push the boundaries of the genre, weaving together fierce riffs and ethereal, harmonic violins with a dual-vocal onslaught that's as soaringly clean as it is crushingly harsh.

Ten years later, their second album still stands as a monumental achievement in the band's discography. To celebrate their groundbreaking milestone, Ne Obliviscaris are releasing what's now the definitive edition of Citadel. This new version was remastered by Mark Lewis, who mixed and mastered the band's latest album, Exul. Together, they've meticulously resurrected the original's power, ensuring every note, every growl and every whisper of the violin rings clearer and more haunting than before.

The Remastered 10-Year Anniversary Edition of Citadel is now available on all digital platforms.

Stream: https://neobliviscaris.fanlink.tv/Citadel

Starting today, fans can also pre-order this remastered version on CD and vinyl, including a limited-edition crystal clear, purple-and-white marbled color variant. The physical versions will be available on October 11, 2024.

Pre-order: https://redirect.season-of-mist.com/NeOCitadelRemaster

Originally released in 2014, Citadel was an undisputed tour de force that carved a mark into the hearts of metal aficionados across the world. The album is split into three epic movements; each one covers an evocative landscape, spanning from ferocious storms on "Painters of the Tempest" to scorching mid-section "Pyrrhic" and the relentless awe of "Devour Me, Colossus". Extinction A.D. 'To The Detested' | Drop Music Video For New Track "Burnt Sienna"

Extinction A.D., New York's relentless purveyors of ferocious hardcore tinged thrash metal, have released their brand new album, 'To The Detested' today via Unique Leader Records. Unwavering in its brutality and pulling no punches from a lyrical perspective. The band's fourth studio album sees the band continue to expand and evolve their sound and embrace new influences. This evolution is most apparent on today's focus track, 'Burnt Sienna', crafted in homage to frontman, Rick Jimenez' Puerto Rican heritage, incorporating elements of Bomba and hearing Rick sing in Spanish for the first time on an Extinction A.D. track. Rick's vulnerable experiences that shaped the song and the band's journey to creating the song have been captured in a mini-documentary, that will premiere on Monday, August 19th HERE.

Watch the official music video for 'Burnt Sienna' Below.

Listen to 'To The Detested' on your streaming platform of choice HERE.

Speaking on "Burnt Sienna", Rick Jimenez shares

"This entire song was a crazy journey from start to finish. From conception of incorporating Bomba into our typical metal style, to singing in Spanish, to diving into the "personal turmoil turned pride in exploration” of my Puerto Rican heritage and my upbringing in an unwelcoming environment, to putting together the exposition video doc of the creation of the song, to choosing this as a single. It’s a lot of personal exposition and being raw about my own individual experiences and evolution as I grow older in this world while simultaneously coming to terms with some things and discovering others."

Speaking on the release of the album today, Jimenez continues

"This album took on a life of its own very quickly and is by far the freshest one of our career. There was no second guessing or laboring over anything, it was pure unbridled energy from the first note of the first song we wrote to the final sound we recorded. We’ve never pulled any punches musically or lyrically but this is a whole new level of intensity, vitriol and honesty. It is not for the thin-skinned or the weak hearted. This record is in fact our declaration to the detested."

To celebrate the release of 'To The Detested', Extinction A.D. will be hitting the stage on the Detested America 2024 tour kicking off at the end of this month, with Assault as support. Be sure to get your tickets from your local venue before they're all gone, and stay tuned for more Extinction A.D. news coming soon.

ABOUT EXTINCTION A.D.

Extinction A.D. is not for the faint of heart and the intensity of these New Yorkers has yet to be tempered. The bands signature level of ferocity has reached new levels on their fourth album ‘To The Detested’, which follows their EP ‘Ruthless Intent’ from earlier this year.

So many different worlds shaped this band; from writers like Alan Moore and George Orwell; lyricists like Wreak Havoc and Chuck D; to directors like Tarantino and John Carpenter. But musically, Extinction A.D. hook up a tube of early 90s era of metal into their veins. Not just bands like Pantera and Machine Head, but the often overlooked 90s offerings from Testament, Sepultura and Slayer.

Thrashing just as hard as their predecessors, the band also break their surroundings down and deliver some heavy as hell riotous mosh; hitting that all-important sweet spot mixture of 80s thrash, 90s extreme metal and New York hardcore, all encompassed into one.

Never afraid to speak their minds amidst a divisive world, Extinction A.D. bring a decisive power to match their frenetic energy. The endgame is not just rebellion but revolution.

Drowning Pool, a name etched in the score of modern rock history, roars back into the spotlight with thunderous energy and uncompromising power. The band’s unmistakable sound, synonymous with raw energy and unapologetic attitude, returns to captivate audiences once again.

Known for their iconic anthem “Bodies,” Drowning Pool needs no introduction. This breakout single propelled them to international recognition, leaving an indelible mark on the nu metal landscape. The song’s relentless energy and defiant spirit resonated with a generation, becoming an anthem for moshers, metalheads, and fans of electrifying live performances.

Ryan McCombs played a pivotal role in the band’s evolution, joining their ranks in the aftermath of the tragic loss of beloved frontman Dave Williams. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence breathed new life into Drowning Pool, solidifying their status as metal titans. Songs like “37 Stitches,” “Feel Like I Do,” and “Turn So Cold”catapulted them to new heights, earning them a place among the genre’s heavyweights.

Yet, Drowning Pool’s story is not just about music; it’s a testament to enduring friendships and a shared passion for their craft. Ryan’s return to the band in 2023 marks a reunion of kindred spirits, a return to the roots of their musical journey. As he succinctly puts it, “Just being back in the same room together after so many years… was a quick reminder as to why I considered them to be my best friends in the business back in the day.”

Their path has not been without its challenges. “Bodies” faced misinterpretations and controversy, with its lyrics taken out of context. Nevertheless, their music has persisted, embraced by the very culture that birthed it. “Bodies” remains an enduring anthem, not just for Drowning Pool but for metal culture as a whole. Its legacy lives on, inspiring new generations of fans. Guitarist C.J. Pierce captures the essence of their dedication: “I’d play ‘Bodies’ five times a night if people really wanted it that bad!” The song’s timeless appeal transcends generations, resonating with both the seasoned and the fresh-faced.

Drowning Pool’s return is a testament to the enduring power of their music, a reminder that their unapologetic spirit continues to strike chords with audiences worldwide. The band experienced a triumphant resurgence in 2023 and with new music on the horizon, a 2024/25 calendar proving that the demand for the band isn’t about to slow down.., Drowning Pool has a white knuckle grip on their present and future with no plans to slow down.

Octavian Winters US West Coast tour in support of 'The Line or The Curve' EP

"A dark and lush tapestry of near-classic post-punk, oscillating between shadow and shimmer. Reflecting the troubled times that we live in, sublime dark sonic delight" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Feels like it was recorded in a studio deep beneath the earth, drawing power from subterranean caves and bubbling magma... tectonic thunder... Such power, strong and true, a voice that scales the wall of sound beneath her with ease" ~ Joyzine

"A dark musical weave forged of post-punk and gothic strands. A sonic web of pulsing bass grooves and shaded ethereality, dark and delicious guitar slashes and haunting sound washes" ~ The Big Takeover

"Their music beautifully marries the somber and the sublime, creating a landscape where edgy riffs dance with ethereal synth waves, and vocals that sound like they were borrowed from an ancient, mystical chorus" ~ Post-Punk.com

"Seriously compelling incitement, which Aursjoen’s tones and the electronically atmospheric mists around her only escalate"
~ Ringmaster Review

San Francisco post-punk outfit Octavian Winters has announced West Coast tour dates to happen this autumn, together with NYC-based synth rock icons Black Rose Burning. The San Franciscans will be heading on the road in support of their debut EP 'The Line or Curve' and their latest 'Nebula / Velveteen (Mark Pistel Remix)' single, both released via Stratis Capta Records).

Formed in 2022, Octavian Winters is guitarist Stephan Salit (Thrill of The Pull), drummer Randy Gzebb (Thrill of The Pull, Love Club), bassist Jay Denton and Ria Aursjoen on vocals and keyboards. Together, they weave their visceral and ethereal sound into a texture all its own – of stories once told but half-remembered, under a dusk of shadows and stars, in an abandoned city under the winter moon.

Led by George Grant, NYC-based outfit Black Rose Burning continues to tour in support of their third album 'Ad Astra', a compelling collection blending ominous goth atmospheres, dark dancefloor anthems, new wave magnetism, and post-punk drive that was met with critical acclaim.

Octavian Winters' members have a rich history of collaborating and touring with notable artists, including Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke, Lords of the New Church, Savage Republic, Christian Death, The Frozen Autumn, Everything Goes Cold and Black Tape for a Blue Girl.

Both 'The Line or The Curve' EP and new 'Nebula / Velveteen (Mark Pistel Remix)' single are available everywhere digitally, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. Tickets for Octavian Winters' shows can be obtained at https://octavianwinters.com/shows.

Skillet Announce New Album "Revolution" + Share Video For New Single "Unpopular"

SKILLET TO BRING REVOLUTION NOVEMBER 1

DIGITAL + VINYL PRE-ORDER IS LIVE

BILLBOARD AND SIRIUS XM'S OCTANE PREMIERE FIRST SINGLE / VIDEO "UNPOPULAR"

Song at DSPs Now, Impacts Active Rock Radio August 20

With more than 22 million albums sold and 24 billion global streams to-date, the GRAMMY-nominated band receives yet two more RIAA Gold Certifications for "Stars" and "Legendary"

SKILLET APP debuts today with early access to tickets, exclusive content, message boards, and more!

Tour with Seether kicks off next month

"'Unpopular' is lighthearted, but there’s a clear message,” says lead singer John Cooper. “So many people don't have a place to belong. You used to know your neighbors. Our communities are online now, which contributes to the loneliness. You have powerful people telling you what reality is, what you should eat, what you should drive, and how you should live. They deem us 'unpopular.' In reality, we agree more than we disagree as a society. The majority of people just want to be free and they don't really care whether or not you agree with them about everything."

REVOLUTION is expected to only extend Skillet's formidable legacy. As of 2024, the band have received two GRAMMY® Award nominations, picked up a Billboard Music Award, and landed three albums in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. Selling over 22 million units worldwide with over 24 billion global streams to date, SKILLET have notched multi-platinum, platinum, or gold RIAA certifications for a total of 12 singles and four full-length albums. Their latest RIAA Gold certifications just hit this summer with the tracks "Legendary" and "Stars." Not to mention, they have regularly attracted 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, boasting "one of the most-streamed rock songs of all-time" with the 5x-platinum "Monster."

After an incredible 20 years on Atlantic Records, SKILLET have built this new vision entirely by hand, intentionally opting to go independent at the end of their last contract and developing a solid indie team. Bolstered and galvanized by the support of a fervent global base, they took advantage of this newfound freedom, writing and recording the album at their own pace on the road and at home as well as in studios across Milwaukee, Canada, and Nashville. The group also tapped the talents of longtime collaborators and producers Brian Howes and Seth Mosely, as well as band member Korey Cooper with YOUTHYEAR/Carlo Colasacco bringing these 10 tracks to life naturally.

"We made records on the same label for 20 years, and it was a great experience," says Cooper. "Since this was the first independent record, it put some pep in my step, so to speak. We did exactly what we wanted to do. If I was on the road and felt inspired to write, I just did. In the past, we'd make a bunch of ideas and whittle everything down for the album. This time, we only wrote and recorded 10 tracks, but it was all we needed. Musically, there are a lot of flavors on the record. It's got the arena songs, but it also has some tunes that are more nostalgic and throwback Skillet."

He continues, "Thematically, there's so much nihilism in our culture. Depression and teen suicide are at epidemic levels. We're revolting against a culture that creates nihilism, nothingness, and materialism. The album is poignant, but it's also very confident and inclusive as well. It's a record saying, 'We have to be willing to stand up for what we believe in — even if it might be unpopular in some circles, but hey, maybe we could have a revolution of love, you know, a revolution of understanding, of tolerance towards people that we don't agree with and come back to some human dignity and respecting peoples rights and where they're coming from. And so, it's kind of speaking to the division and the polarization that is happening, which I think is a really good message and what the whole ‘revolution’ thing is all about. We allude to it on the record cover where there's a Skillet flag, and in the corner it lists I Corinthians, 13:13, a verse that says, 'Hold onto these things: faith, hope, love. But the greatest is love.'"

Ready to play new music for their fans, SKILLET recently announced that they will hit the road this fall with another one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century, SEETHER, followed by their first-ever tour of the Middle East in November, where the band will be playing in Turkey, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, and more. From there, SKILLET will support Black Stone Cherry on a handful of dates across the UK. One Outta Ten Release Emotional New Record "Better Days" & New Nostalgic Video

Los Angeles, CA – Emerging indie rock band, One Outta Ten, are thrilled to announce the release of their deeply personal record, "Better Days", available now on all major streaming platforms. A cathartic exploration of grief and the healing process, each track on the record offers a blend of indie rock/pop, pop punk, and bedroom pop, with sprinkles of folk and lo-fi elements, showcasing the band's versatility and growth. Fans can listen to the full album HERE.

Alongside the brand new album, One Outta Ten have unveiled a moving music video for the title track, which poignantly captures the essence of the record. The video for the title track, "Better Days," is an emotional tribute that depicts the road trip that frontman Josh and drummer David would have taken with their father before his untimely passing. The brand new video features stunning landscapes and intimate home video moments, reflecting the bond between father and sons and the journey through sorrow to acceptance.

Speaking on today's release, frontman Josh de Leon shares:

"It's hard to process how tough this past year has been for the band. All five members of the band have experienced loss this year, the type of loss that shapes who you are going forward. Making "Better Days" was cathartic, but necessary. Dave and I lost our father, and the world hasn't been the same since. Luckily, we are surrounded by people who love and understand what we are going through. I've experienced so much love from people in the past year. I just wish my dad was there to see it. Making these songs is my way of saying I'm still alive, and we're doing fine. We won't let the loss stop us, and Dave and I will keep making music in our father's memory. This album is dedicated from our band to Sylvia, Marilyn, Rascal, and Kahlua, but from me and Dave, this album is for our dad Ray. I miss you so much. Hope you've got a beer in your hand and you're relaxing on a beautiful beach."

With their junior release, One Outta Ten continue to meld their heartfelt lyrics and exuberant melodies to further their reputation as one of the most promising indie bands at the moment. Fueled by the passion and raw emotion that characterize their music, the band’s forthcoming album, "Better Days," promises to deliver a heartfelt mix of powerful anthems and introspective ballads.

While seamlessly blending indie rock/pop with pop punk, "Better Days" delves into themes of friendship, loss, and the journey to find one’s path in life. Sprinkling in the elements of folk and bedroom pop throughout the album as well, One Outta Ten explore the complexities of grief with their poignant lyrics, all while actively healing from the loss of a loved one. Serving as a testament to the band’s resilience, this upcoming record stands to showcase their growth - both musically and personally.

Stay tuned for more One Outta Ten news coming soon.

Southern California fans also have the chance to see One Outta Ten at the Smell on Saturday, August 31st for an epic album release show.

One Outta Ten will be sharing the stage with fellow California based bands, The Offtrax and Lazy Susan.

Fans can purchase tickets in advance HERE.

Don't miss your chance to celebrate their album release with the band later this month!

Texas Hippie Coalition Release "Gunsmoke," Title Track From New Album

Texas rockers TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION are set to release their new album, Gunsmoke, via MNRK Heavy on October 4, 2024.  This time, Big Dad Ritch and his crew wholeheartedly embrace their country and Southern rock stylings as well as a lifelong passion for westerns. This comes through loud and clear on the first single and title track, "Gunsmoke." Rustic acoustic guitar crawls through a stomping beat punctuated by waves of groaning distortion. It climaxes on a chantable chorus, “I sell weed and liquor to the city slickers. I can get you there quicker, and like a gun…I smoke.

With drinks poured, fists raised, and smiles wide, TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION (THC) always know how to have a good time. A collective of tried-and-true rabble-rousers and dyed-in-the-wool storytellers, the Texas quintet—Big Dad Ritch [vocals], Cord Pool [guitar], Nevada Romo [guitar], Rado Romo [bass], and Joey Mandigo [drums]—spike ass-whopping hard rock with a kick of country swagger and a whole lot of Texas grit and gusto.

Gathering tens of millions of streams, logging thousands of miles on the road, and energizing countless fans, they deliver ten anthems tailormade to simmer and scorch on Gunsmoke [MNRK Heavy]. “In terms of the lyrics, the vibe, and where THC come from, we definitely went home on this album,” says Ritch. “It represents the wild west Texas-Oklahoma area. You’ve got a little red dirt country spilling over into the storytelling and metal. It’s a return to the dirt where we came from.”
