DUSTIN LYNCH AND SCOTTY MCCREERY ANNOUNCE CO-HEADLINGING TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR

Raising a toast to some of the biggest Country smashes of the past decade, Dustin Lynch and Scotty McCreery are joining forces for their co-headlining TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR, announcing a dozen special shows in the fall.

Tickets for the DUSTIN LYNCH AND SCOTTY MCCREERY: TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR are available via an exclusive fan presale (including VIP Packages) beginning on Wednesday (4/30) at 10 a.m. local time, and continuing through Thursday (5/1) at 10 p.m. local time. The tour’s public on-sale begins Friday (5/2) at 10 a.m. local time. To purchase tickets, visit Lynch and McCreery’s websites.

The TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR kicks off November 6 in Saginaw, MI, and will feature 12 hit-heavy stops across the U.S. Stretching from Portland, ME, to Tupelo, MS, the run is scheduled to wrap December 6 in Duluth, MN, with two of Country’s most electrifying talents supported by Walker Montgomery and Sons of Habit (who will appear on select dates).

This tour concept brings a pair of bona fide Country stars to the same bill for the first time. Hot off his recent headlining debut at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre (check out his exclusive with PEOPLE here), Lynch remains an in-demand headliner – who is currently hosting his ongoing 2025 WYNN NIGHTLIFE LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY. The buzzed-about club set makes Lynch Wynn Nightlife’s first-ever country music artist in residency in Las Vegas, NV, with dates continuing through the summer.

After breaking out with the PLATINUM “Cowboys and Angels” in 2012, Lynch has gone on to post 10 #1s – including his latest #1 “Chevrolet (feat. Jelly Roll),” and the 2X PLATINUM, six-week #1 “Thinking ‘Bout You (feat. MacKenzie Porter)” – the most-played song at Country radio in 2022. A Grand Ole Opry member who continues to break boundaries as a global performer, Lynch has played to over 4 MILLION fans spanning five headline runs, in addition to touring with Country’s biggest names like Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Brad Paisley.

McCreery, who was a crowd favorite last night at the Stagecoach Festival, also brings a long list of modern-classic Country hits to the TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR. A perennial hitmaker with a rumbling baritone, McCreery was the first Country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart back in 2011, and has gone on to sell more than 4 MILLION albums and score six #1’s – including the 3X-PLATINUM “Five More Minutes” and his recent chart topper “Cab in a Solo.”  The ACM and CMT award winner recently announced the June 20th release of a special edition of the album that took him to superstardom, Seasons Change: Platinum Edition, now available for pre-order with four additional tracks.

McCreery’s TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR appearance continues to cement his top-flight reputation. After kicking off the year touring the U.S. and Canada with Kane Brown, plus a packed schedule of headline and festival dates, including his upcoming UK Tour in May and Switzerland’s Gstaad Festival in September, McCreery remains a dedicated road-warrior that connects with audiences internationally. He is also a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry and recently served as the announcer on the “Opry  100 - A Live Celebration” highly rated NBC television special.

DUSTIN LYNCH AND SCOTTY MCCREERY: TWO FOR THE ROAD TOUR promises a unique experience for Country music fans, so don’t miss this rare chance to see two Country powerhouses share the stage.

MADELINE MERLO RELEASES MELODIC DUET “BROKEN HEART THING” WITH MULTI-PLATINUM, 9X #1 HITMAKER DUSTIN LYNCH

Madeline Merlo, a 2x CCMA award winner and 2024 CCMA Female Artist of the Year nominee, teams up with MULTI-PLATINUM, 9x #1 hitmaker Dustin Lynch for her new release “Broken Heart Thing (feat. Dustin Lynch).” The song, the first peek into her forthcoming project ONE HOUSE DOWN (from the girl next door), explores both sides of a recent heartbreak & how they’re both still getting used to the relationship falling apart.  The melancholy melody serves up a storyline that perfectly complements the vulnerable moments captured on this recording. Listen here.

“I’m overjoyed to finally share 'Broken Heart Thing (feat. Dustin Lynch)’ with the world today,” said Merlo. “A huge thank you to Dustin Lynch for lending his signature vocal to this song, one that delves into the complexities of navigating life right after a broken heart. It’s a relatable journey that I’m hoping people can find some sense of not being alone in that feeling when they hear this song.”

Merlo’s forthcoming project embodies a narrative of authenticity, vulnerability & imperfection. In “Broken Heart Thing (feat. Dustin Lynch),” you feel as if you are living the story yourself, desperately attempting to picture a new normal. The song is more than just a new track, it is a profound exploration of the aftermath of a breakup. The song delves into the dual perspectives of a relationship’s end, offering a raw and authentic portrayal of the emotional turbulence that accompanies heartbreak. The narrative is built around the universal experience of moving on from a once-promising relationship, and the poignant melancholy of adjusting to new realities. Directed by Jack Owens, the official music video for the track also launched today, view below.

Madeline Merlo’s emotive vocals guide the listener through a tender examination of both sides of a breakup, exploring themes of loss, acceptance, and the lingering echoes of love. With Lynch’s rich, identifiable, evocative voice joining Merlo’s on the track, “Broken Heart Thing (feat. Dustin Lynch)” becomes a duet that bridges two perspectives, creating a powerful and resonant piece of music.

“I’ve gotten a chance to invite Madeline out a few times now to perform with me, so I was honored to be asked to jump on this song with her,” shared Lynch. “I love how our voices blend on this track, and the power in her vulnerability. It’s so relatable and I’m looking forward to seeing how this one connects!”

Having “already proven her songwriting chops” (Billboard), Merlo, a 2024 CMT “Next Women of Country,” has “long made a career by telling big emotional stories in the span of 3 minute or so songs” (American Songwriter). Similar to her critically acclaimed label-debut EP, Slide, that scored her praise from BillboardE! NewsPopCultureMusic Row and more, Merlo continues to build her niche as a songwriter and artist, as she brings to life powerful female stories, from budding romances, to growing up and to the lessons learned in-between. “…Ready to make her name and talent known in the American country music landscape” (Country Swag), the “rising country star” (People) has a new project “Broken Heart Thing (feat. Dustin Lynch)” out now, available on all streaming platforms.

Expanding her creative horizons, Madeline Merlo has recently collabed with Sunday Club, releasing anexclusive 8-piece jewelry collection perfectly capturing her unique style. In addition, Merlo is the face of the Urban Planet x Boots & Hearts Collab, don’t miss out — shop the collection here while supplies last.

About Madeline Merlo:
With a crystalline Country vocal and an international rep for writing vivid scenes of emotional insight, BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville recording artist Madeline Merlo is a rising star with an old soul and a new school style. Already a Platinum-certified No. 1 songwriter poised to be a breakout artist, Merlo’s new project ONE HOUSE DOWN (from the girl next door) finds a self-described deep-feeler offering a message of encouragement to her younger self – and to all those who feel “a little different.” A small town native helming from the blueberry fields of British Columbia, Merlo recalls countless holiday family sing-alongs soaked in a musical mix of classic soul and R&B – plus ‘90s country and the powerhouse vocals of everyone from Aretha Franklin to Dolly Parton, Martina McBride and Faith Hill. After attending a Shania Twain concert as her first show, she proclaimed her intention to be a singer on a second-grade school project – and her songwriting habit began early, too. Merlo started visiting Nashville on songwriting trips at just 16, signed a record deal at 18, and found fast success at Canadian country radio, earning the CCMA Rising Star award in 2015. By 2020 she was competing on Season 2 of NBC songwriting reality series Songland – and with the dressed-down anthem of easy confidence, “Champagne Night,” she came out a winner. The track went on to become a Platinum-certified three-week No. 1 for Lady A, opening the door for Merlo’s artistic dreams. The sassy country/funk and soul single “It Didn’t” has racked up more than 10 million Spotify streams to date, and Merlo followed with the gravel-road pop of her Slide EP in 2022. Now, after being named to CMT Next Women of Country class of 2024, she calls ONE HOUSE DOWN  (from the girl next door)  her most emotionally insightful project yet – a six-song message of self-worth that comes with a superstar boost and plays to her creative strength. The first peek into her forthcoming project arrives August 9th with the melodic “Broken Heart Thing (feat. Dustin Lynch),” and the full project will be available October 11th. Merlo can be found on the road throughout the U.S. and Canada this summer. For more information, visit her website.

“This EP is really special to me. I connect with every song on this project, and I’m so grateful for the writers who came together and helped me make this body of work what it is. It’s a pretty good reflection of me and my different personalities too,” shares Stough. “‘Boat Somewhere’ is me on a lazy – ‘I don’t want to have a care in the world’ – kind of day. That’s just a fun one, while ‘Sober’ and ‘Amen’ are those darker records where there’s a bit more of my struggles with right and wrong, pain, loneliness, and heartbreak out on display. ‘Makes Two of Us’ and ‘Outside Lookin’ In’ are the relationship songs, and relationships are usually where I find myself struggling with my demons the most – and then there’s ‘Lookin’ For Home.’ I’ve felt out of place most of my life, like I can’t figure out where I’m meant to settle or even if I’m meant to settle down somewhere someday. So, I guess in the meantime, I’ll just keep wandering about and writing songs about the journey.”

Presenting a full-spectrum view of a free spirit on the run for something more, the Lookin’ For Home EP reveals Stough as a vulnerable storyteller who’s fearlessly exploring the push and pull between small-town comfort and the drive to leave his mark on the world. Co-penned with hit-makers like Rivers Rutherford, Jacob Durrett, Chase Matthew, and more, highlights include previously released songs like the craving “Makes Two of Us” and tormented “Sober” – plus the road-weary “Amen,” a foreboding ballad sung from the end of an emotional rope. Narrated by a broken soul pining for the simple days of the past – and praying for escape from the demons at his door – “Amen” matches Stough’s warm growl with a softer side, as it chases down a dreamer who’s ready to leave the fast life behind. A chilling rocker with a dynamic Southern rasp, the pure grit track helps bring Stough’s mix of dark and light themes into sharper focus. All about the contrast between living hard and living well with lyrics by Stough, Jacob Durrett (also the producer), and Jordan Dozzi, listen to “Amen” here.

Arriving as Stough continues to carve out his place in the genre, the Lookin’ For Home EP follows his debut EP Promiseland, which helped introduce the American Idol Season 21 finalist as a serious contender in Nashville and beyond.

After a head turning appearance at CMA Fest 2024 last month, Stough will spend the rest of the year on the road with a series of coast-to-coast fair and music festival dates, plus select shows with Austin Williams, Chase Matthew, Midland, and The Lacs. Find a full list of dates here.

AMERICAN IDOL BREAKOUT HUNTERGIRL RELEASES LABEL-DEBUT EP, TENNESSEE GIRL

Already hailed as one of Country’s most exciting new talents, emerging 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville artist HunterGirl shows the sharp instincts of a perceptive powerhouse on her label-debut EP, Tennessee Girl.

Arriving today (6/7), the six-song EP serves to introduce a natural-born singer-songwriter and national TV favorite, who views her life like an open-book. Taking to socials to express her gratitude for her fans and this project, watch the vulnerable thank you here

A native of Winchester, Tennessee named one of CMT’s 2024 Next Women of Country, her mix of modern Country power ballads and deep-feeling diary entries feature strong take-me-as-I-come values and a soaring Southern vocal to match.

“I have been dreaming of getting a record deal since I was singing songs in my Nanna’s living room as a child. I remember watching artists I looked up to chase after their dreams and praying one day I would have that chance. The songs on this record are pieces of my heart and my story, and I cannot wait to share it with the world and during CMA Fest. So much has gone into creating this debut project, and it reflects not only me as an artist but me as a person,” says HunterGirl.

Built on an edgy mix of next-gen modern Country, Top 40 energy and Pop-Punk distortion, Tennessee Girl was produced by hit songwriter/producer Lindsay Rimes (Nate Smith’s “Whiskey on You”) with each song either written or co-written by HunterGirl herself.

A striking lyrical journey through young love and romantic temptation, tattooed train wrecks and missed chances, tunes full of up-all-night energy like “Bad Decisions” pulse with youthful vigor, while “Clockworks” cleverly pines for a romantic impossibility, and “Bad Boy” matches raw attraction with a velvet smooth vocal.

On Thursday (6/6), the wild-child music video for “Bad Boy” premiered across all CMT channels and social accounts, playing throughout the day and even debuting on Paramount’s world famous Times Square billboard at 1515 Broadway in New York City. Co-directed by West Webb and Luke Lowder the fun loving, rough-and-tumble clip captures the devil-may-care spirit of “Bad Boy,” written by HunterGirl with Rimes and Greg Bates.

“I remember watching CMT as a little girl and hoping I would have a music video on their channel one day. I couldn’t help but cry when they told me ‘Bad Boy’ will premiere in New York City,” HunterGirl shares. “I am so thankful to CMT for believing in me, and fulfilling a dream I’ve had since I was young. Growing up in Winchester, Tennessee, I never dreamed that my face was going to be on a billboard in Times Square!”

Meanwhile, Billboard spotlighted HunterGirl as its Rookie of the Month for June, calling her “a clear-eyed purveyor of emotional depth” – and Tennessee Girl offers plenty of proof. Read the full article here.

Tunes like the moody “Weather in Tennessee” capture the unpredictable atmosphere of an on-again-off-again relationship. And while the deeply empathic “Ain’t About You” made history as the first debut radio single in over 30 years to be completely written by a female Country artist herself, HunterGirl’s next focus track amplifies her creative vision.

Deconstructing beauty standards for a girl-power anthem with a casual, dressed-down spirit, “Pretty Much” is all about learning to love yourself in a demanding, unforgiving world. Co-written by HunterGirl with David FanningJosh Kear, and Andy Sheridan, the track features understated, self-confident vocals, as HunterGirl matches a soft-touch rebelliousness with the delicate sway of steel guitar and processed beats.

Inspired by female powerhouses from Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire to Kelly Clarkson and P!NK, HunterGirl has been writing and performing since she was a child, and burst on to the national stage as the runner-up on the 20th season of American Idol in 2022. Embracing her Tennessee roots and the innate skills of a Country tunesmith, her first batch of music has taken Nashville and beyond by storm.

On top of her CMT Next Women of Country accolade, HunterGirl has been praised by People for her “incredible voice,” while also being proclaimed an “Artist to Watch” by Country Now and “a major, major new talent” by MusicRow. She’s topped the iTunes All Genre and Country charts with her wistful “Red Bird” and making her Grand Ole Opry debut this spring.

Following up her historic “Ain’t About You” single, HunterGirl also took part in the Grand Ole Opry’s Salute to the Troops show on May 21 – a cause she has long championed – and after performing today (6/7) at Nashville’s world-famous CMA Fest 2024, she’ll be joining her biggest Idol believer Luke Bryan on the road for select shows this summer.

HUNTERGIRL LIVES OUT HER WILDEST DREAMS IN “BAD BOY” VIDEO DEBUT ACROSS CMT

Fast-rising singer/songwriter HunterGirl brings her fantasies to life in her brand-new music video “Bad Boy,” premiering exclusively tomorrow (6/6) on CMT, CMT Music, and CMT Equal Play (Pluto TV). Officially airing every hour throughout the morning on CMT and eight times on CMT Music and CMT Equal Play, the wildly fun visual will also debut on Paramount’s billboard at 1515 Broadway in New York City at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. EST. Directed by West Webb, the video for “Bad Boy” opens on HunterGirl walking down the street in red leather cowboy boots and stopping in her tracks at the sight of two men brawling in front of a tattoo parlor. As the song confesses to her particular taste in the opposite sex (“I like guys with issues/Score an extra point for every tattoo/Don’t even get me started if they have a cigarette in their hand”), HunterGirl joins the pack of tatted-up, cigarette-smoking, motorcycle-riding dudes on the front porch and immediately feels right in her element. Spliced with a series of frenetic fish-eye shots of HunterGirl and her band performing the Punk-Pop-Country anthem, the “Bad Boy” video later finds the artist herself leading a seminar on the art of being a bad boy — ultimately transforming a class full of self-professed nerds into the rough-and-tumble men of her dreams.

Written by HunterGirl with producer Lindsay Rimes and Greg Bates, “Bad Boy” will appear on the 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville artist’s label-debut EP, Tennessee Girl, due out this Friday (6/7). With her latest accolades including being named to CMT’s 2024 Next Women of Country, HunterGirl offers up a batch of songs built on her true-to-life storytelling and one-of-a-kind sound, including the critically acclaimed “Ain’t About You” — a gorgeously poignant ballad that made her the first female Country artist in over 30 years to write her debut radio single completely by herself. Pre-order/pre-save/pre-add the EP here.

COLIN STOUGH IS LOOKIN’ FOR HOME – OUT 7/12

With the buzz around 19 Recordings/BMG Nashville artist Colin Stough building, the singer-songwriter claims a place to make his creative stand with the new EP, Lookin’ For HomeReleasing July 12, fans can now pre-save/pre-add Lookin’ For Home and get a preview of the project with pensive track “Sober” Below.

“Each one of these songs is a piece of my heart, and they outline trials and tribulations that I’ve been through personally. They’ve made me into who I am today,” shares Stough. “The EP title Lookin’ For Home comes from that feeling that something is missing – that no matter where you are, who you’re with, or what you’re doing, you feel like you don’t belong, and there’s something just over the horizon that would make it better.”

Carving out a high-energy corner at the intersection of Country and Southern Rock, Lookin’ For Homefeatures six songs sharpening Stough’s hard-edged vision of musical honesty. The follow-up to his Promiseland EP debutLookin’ For Home burns with even more passion and raw vocal strength, presenting a full-spectrum view of a free spirit on the run, who’s painfully aware of life’s difficult contradictions. Dealing with everyday themes like work and weekends, and true love and the torment of heartbreak, the set never shies away from the messy truth – and with Stough featured as a writer on every track, that messy truth often grapples with the dividing line between right and wrong, tradition and ambition, the push and pull between small-town comfort, and the drive to leave his mark on the outside world.

Meanwhile, all throughout songs like the recently released “Makes Two of Us,” Stough wraps reflections on vulnerability, hope, belonging, and more, in an electrifying new sound, fusing the familiar crunch of Country Rock with a dark, gravelly take. Weaving it all together with a dynamic Mississippi rasp, he matches down-home tenderness with icy explosions of pure power in equal measure, as a burgeoning star rises firmly on his own.

Delivered today (5/24), he further captures the crippling torment of a bleeding heart in “Sober.” Built around the bitter sting of a breakup, the slow-burning ballad was co-written by Stough with Mason Thornley and Sam Martinez. All about missing someone so bad you can’t even numb the pain – “I could hang out all night / I could drink this bottle dry / Trying to get me gone and I ain't getting any closer / Without your love I’m sober” – a woozy mix from producer Martinez creates a tone that stands on the edgy fringe of Stough’s peers. Pairing down-tuned acoustic twang and a lonesome slide guitar, the track’s building blocks make for a weary ballad of emotional desperation. But when Stough’s powerful, bluesy vocal ruptures into the chorus, the true toll of finding no relief takes center stage.

Taking his new music on the road this summer, Stough’s stacking music festival dates like CMA Fest 2024 on June 8 on the Hard Rock Stage in Nashville, TN. Doubling up appearances, the Season 21 finalist on American Idol will also join a program at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center on the CMA Close Up Stage for “Idol Hour with Chayce Beckham, HunterGirl, Colin Stough and ‘American Idol’ Season 22 Runner Ups Jack Blocker and Will Moseley.” Find additional details here.

HUNTERGIRL’S REBELLIOUS ANTHEM “BAD BOY” AVAILABLE NOW

Named to CMT’s 2024 Next Women of Country, HunterGirl shares another side to her already impressive artistry, today releasing the infectious anthem “Bad Boy.” Featured on her upcoming label-debut EP, Tennessee Girl, coming June 7, the 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville artist throws caution to the wind in her irresistible, rebelling new song. Pre-order/pre-save/pre-add the EP here and listen to “Bad Boy” here.

Tennessee Girl shows the different sides of my personality. I separate songs into two categories in my head, Blue Jean and Leather Jacket songs. Blue Jean songs are the ones I write in my bedroom opening my diary to the world. Leather Jacket songs are where I want to feel tougher and have fun. Most people have only seen the Blue Jean side of my personality, but with this 6- song EP, I have the chance to show the full picture of me as an artist," shares HunterGirl.

Admitting her beguiling yet relatable taste in men, fantasizing about a tattooed-up, cigarette-smoking guitar player in a band, the explosive, head-rocking sing-along finds our heroine ignoring all the red flags in pursuit for the man of her illicit dreams. Written by this “Artist to Watch” (Country Now) with producer Lindsay Rimes and Greg Bates, “Bad Boy” marks a radically compelling addition to HunterGirl’s sonic and lyrical catalog. Embracing all her influences simultaneously from Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire to Kelly Clarkson and P!NK, Hunter is innately talented at writing lyrics that are true to her, while seamlessly delivering tracks that are both country and punk-pop-country leaning. In doing so, she readies a dynamically captivating project that beautifully embodies every part of her story that won her the hearts of millions as the runner-up on American Idol.

“The rising country star has continued to work hard and put herself out there on incredibly sincere and emotionally-charged levels” (Country Now), “transcending from talented aspiring artist to make her first steps toward the big leagues” (Billboard). Praised “a major, major new talent” by MusicRow, the upcoming EP - produced by Lindsay Rimes - will boast new songs “Clockworks” and “Bad Decisions,” along with the critically acclaimed “Ain’t About You” that made her the first female country artist in over 30 years to write her debut radio single completely by herself.

Last night (5/16), the talented songstress kept the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards Red Carpet lively as Country Now’s guest host. Dedicated to giving back, HunterGirl will take part in the Opry’s Salute to the Troops show on May 21. Using her platform to tell the story of a selfless Veteran, she'll perform the anthem that was co-written with the Veteran's wife as a part of the Gold Star Family Project with Operation Song.

Up next, she will be joining Luke Bryan  on the road, as well as returning to Nashville’s CMA Fest on June 7 and making her debut at Faster Horses Festival on July 21.

COLIN STOUGH CAN’T MOVE ON IN “MAKES TWO OF US” MUSIC VIDEO

19 Recordings/BMG Nashville artist Colin Stough can’t get an ex off his mind in the official music video for “Makes Two of Us.”

“The music video for ‘Makes Two of Us’ is about how your mind keeps wandering to your ex after a breakup. So, in the clip, you see these two characters living their daily lives while constant flashes of memories between them keep happening,” shares Stough. “It shows how often you’re just doing whatever, yet you find yourself completely lost in thought – thinking about the other person. It starts happening so often that you get to a point where you’re just kind of like, ‘Well, if I can’t get ‘em off my mind, what could it hurt to just go there again?’”

Directed by David Dutton with DP Alan Fisher, the Mississippi native stepped back into a real-life job he had during high school as a welder for the footage shot at Glenn Machine Works in Columbus, MS. The strong visuals add to the explosive temptation of the on-again-off-again romance as depicted in the roller-coaster lyrics penned by Stough with Alex Maxwell and Cole Taylor. Intrusive thoughts capture a conflicted heart caught in a feedback loop of heartbreak and loneliness, and about to give in just one more time.

Showcasing a complex artist-writer who continues to hone his lyrical craftsmanship, the pitch-black production from Maxwell further helps put the growing urge in sonic terms – while also eclipsing the power of Stough’s Promiseland EP debut. With a heavy-handed Rock foundation, distorted guitars thunder alongside pounding drums and streaks of steel guitar lightning, but Stough weaves in tender moments to explore the emotional conflict as well – all while his volcanic Southern vocal fights confusing signals. On the one hand, he should resist what’s surely the start of another toxic cycle. But on the other, the craving for connection is real, and, hopefully, coming from both sides.

With more new music promised soon, Stough’s stacking music festival appearances this summer like CMA Fest 2024 on June 8 on the Hard Rock Stage in Nashville, TN. The same day, the Season 21 finalist on American Idol will also join a program at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center on the CMA Close Up Stage for “Idol Hour with Chayce Beckham, HunterGirl, Colin Stough and ‘American Idol’ ‘24 Winner and Runner-Up.” Find additional details here.

COLIN STOUGH FIGHTS MIDNIGHT TEMPTATION IN “MAKES TWO OF US

19 Recordings/BMG Nashville artist Colin Stough battles the midnight temptation of an on-again-off-again romance in “Makes Two of Us.” Available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen here.

“‘Makes Two of Us’ is about that after a breakup thing where you keep thinking about your ex. It’s those lonely moments when your brain kicks in and you start thinking about them, then you start debating on whether or not you should reach out just in case they’re thinking of you too,” shares Stough. “You find yourself wondering if they’re thinking of doing the same, even though you know that reaching out never gets you anywhere and is pretty much a horrible idea.”

Co-written by Stough with Alex Maxwell and Cole Taylor, the late-night breakup anthem of intrusive thoughts captures a conflicted heart caught in a feedback loop of heartbreak and loneliness, and about to give in just one more time. Showcasing a complex artist-writer who continues to hone his lyrical craftsmanship, its lyrics pass no judgment on who was right and who was wrong, instead zeroing in on the raw relatability of a wounded soul desperate for relief – consequences be damned.

Feeling like a gathering storm, the pitch-black production from Alex Maxwell helps put the growing urge in sonic terms – while also eclipsing the power of Stough’s Promiseland EP debut.

With more new music promised soon, Stough’s stacking music festival appearances this summer after headlining the past year while also supporting artists like Chase Matthew, Kidd G, and Drake White. Find upcoming show dates here.

Impressing judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie, Stough stunned viewers and soon built a thriving fan base, finishing third on Season 21 of the show in 2022. He spent the ensuing months writing and recording original music, while also touring nationwide to put his blowtorch vocal and guitar-slinging edge on full display. After signing with 19 Recordings/BMG Nashville, his distinctive mix of Southern Rock distortion and pure-Country style has helped Stough’s music rack up more than 19.8 MILLION global on-demand streams. Just days after being direct support on a two month-run on Blake Shelton’s BACK TO THE HONKY TONK TOUR, MULTI-PLATINUM star Dustin Lynch has launched his much-anticipated KILLED THE COWBOY TOUR, in support of his statement-making sixth studio album. Marking his first-time headlining the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, Tuesday night (4/2), the Tullahoma-native brought a SOLD-OUT standing ovation-worthy start to the 18-date trek that continues through next month with opener Skeez.

“We’ve been saying this for weeks. Literally, a bunch of times every day we’ve looked at each other on the bus and we’re like, ‘We’re headlining the Ryman!’ Not only that, you guys SOLD OUT the Ryman for us! That’s awesome,” shared Lynch onstage. “Thank you for spending your hard-earned money to be here with us tonight. That does not go unnoticed. A lot of our families are here tonight, and we get to support our families because you support our songs, our music, and our concerts – and we love you for it. Thank you very much for that.”

Adding the biggest production he’s ever brought on the road to the historic stage with a setlist curated from Killed The Cowboy (Broken Bow Records), including his current single and Jelly Roll collaboration “Chevrolet” that’s Top 30-and-climbing at Country radio, Lynch also pulled from his career batch of nine #1s like “Stars Like Confetti,” “Small Town Boy,” and “Good Girl” – a special shout-out to his mom who was in the audience, as it’s her favorite song. Keeping the celebration going post-show, Lynch hosted an official after-party at PBR Nashville, where he tried his hand at guest bartending, popped up behind the DJ booth, and even had a line dance dedicated to album release “Honky Tonk Heartbreaker” by the bar staff.

Tickets are selling fast as Lynch’s KILLED THE COWBOY TOUR stacks major city appearances in Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, Boston, MA, St. Louis, MO, and more, before capping off May 11 at Harrah's Stir Concert Cove in Council Bluffs, IA. Find full tour information and purchase tickets here. Next up, Lynch is vying for CMT PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR for his fiery play of “Thinking ‘Bout You” featuring MacKenzie Porter (from CMT Campfire Sessions) at the 2024 “CMT MUSIC AWARDS.” Watch the nominated performance below. COLIN STOUGH KEEPS THE FAITH WITH “I STILL TALK TO JESUS (ACOUSTIC)”

19 Recordings/BMG artist Colin Stough starts the new year off with a powerful message of resilience, as he offers up a fresh rendition of one of his biggest hits with “I Still Talk To Jesus (Acoustic).” Available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen here.

A Country-Rock ballad of unshakable hope, “I Still Talk To Jesus” was originally part of Stough’s standout time on ABC’s American Idol in 2022. Eventually finishing third on Season 21, Stough released the aching anthem alongside his fellow Top 5 finalists, showing fans a moving example of inner toughness – and one heart’s weary-yet-determined refusal to give up on love.

Produced by Sean Rogers, Stough’s new acoustic take of the track further highlights that message. Using only guitar to back his dynamic Mississippi vocal, the rising star dials down his million-watt intensity for a captivating blend of wounded soul and falsetto grit, cutting straight to heart of one of his most popular songs. Meanwhile, a raw performance of the all-natural track – penned by Stough, Sean Thomas Rogers, and Francisco Martin – was captured and edited by Mike Rodway.

“I wanted to share this track to start the new year off right!” Stough says. “This was one of my biggest songs last year and a fan-favorite, so I hope everyone enjoys this acoustic take. It’s just one of them records where the words cut deep, and I think this version really lets ‘em shine.”

“I Still Talk To Jesus (Acoustic)” follows the recent release of “Sleep Tonight (Acoustic)” – another reimagined favorite revealing Stough’s heartfelt lyricism – and a gravelly rendition of the Elvis Presley holiday classic, “Blue Christmas.”

In October 2023, the emerging artist released his six-track debut EP,
Promiseland, and has since captured the attention of both critics and fans alike. Country Now praises, “Promiseland showcases a deep level of honesty and authenticity,” as they further named him among their Country Next: Artists To Watch In 2024 list. Likewise, Stough made Holler’s New and Upcoming Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know roundup, hailing that he’s a “singer who was born to do this,” with a voice that’s “equally at home singing grungy Southern rock as it is twangy old school country.”

Spending last year headlining while also supporting artists like Kidd G and Drake White, he’s next on deck with Chase Matthew starting in February. Find upcoming show dates

COLIN STOUGH LETS THOUGHTS RUN WILD IN “SLEEP TONIGHT (ACOUSTIC)”

19 Recordings/BMG artist Colin Stough bares a wounded soul in the stripped-down “Sleep Tonight (Acoustic),” sharing a new rendition alongside a performance video today (12/8). Available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers, listen here.

Written by Stough with Sean Thomas Rogers and Brian Congdon, the original version was part of his six-track debut EP,
Promiseland – a crunchy power-confession full of worry over the fragility of life, which helped introduce the new-school Country rocker with a high-voltage vocal.

“I actually started this one as a poem, so a more raw version felt true to where this song came from. I was really hurting after hearing about another death in my life and I just started writing,” shares Stough. “Once I took that poem into the writing room, we got our guitars and started writing, so it really did begin as a guitar-vocal. Stripping back the production lets these lyrics be the focus and makes it hit even harder since this writing is so personal to me.”

“Sleep Tonight (Acoustic)” reveals the man behind the words, peeling back a rough exterior to showcase a deep-feeling artist within, as Stough tones his raspy vocal down to a soft buzz and sings with just an acoustic guitar in support. Produced by Sean Rogers, the reimagined tune ends up highlighting the relatable agony of the young artist’s lyrics, aching over thoughts that run wild each night. Meanwhile, up close-and-personal acoustic performance footage that was filmed and edited by Mike Rodway
captures the internal struggle, as Stough sinks into emotional turmoil – before finding the strength to carry on.

Named among Holler’s New and Upcoming Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know,“Stough’s gravelly rock drawl is equally at home singing grungy Southern rock as it is twangy old school country, and Promiseland is a fitting showcase for every side of a singer who was born to do this.” “Sleep Tonight (Acoustic)” further follows the November release of Stough’s take on “Blue Christmas,” channeling a Rock icon and fellow Mississippi native for a gritty-but-still-tender version of Elvis Presley’s holiday classic.

A series of previous singles have so far racked up more than 9.4 MILLION global on-demand streams, and looking ahead, the promising singer-songwriter will continue to lead his band on stages all around the country. Spending this past year headlining while also supporting artists like Kidd G and Drake White, he’s next on deck with Chase Matthew in 2024. Find upcoming show dates

Kenny Chesney Adds 3 Soccer Stadiums to 20 Stadium SUN GOES DOWN Tour

Once Kenny Chesney gets rolling, count on the 8-time Entertainer of the Year to think about how he can expand what he does on the road in new and intriguing ways. With soccer fever sweeping the nation, he decided to upgrade his plays in Cincinnati and Salt Lake City to the TQL Stadium and America First Field respectively; the move was inspired by his years of headlining Columbus, Ohio’s Historic Crew Stadium.

“In a lot of ways, soccer stadiums are the best of both worlds,” allows the charismatic songwriter/superstar. “You have the same kind of intimacy that you get in an amphitheater, but it’s big enough you have the ability to really hit the accelerator in terms of energy, music, connecting. It’s a relatively new thing for us to have soccer stadiums, but these are markets where I know there are people who aren’t getting tickets – and everyone in No Shoes Nation knows how I feel about no citizen of our crew left behind.”

Adding three MLS soccer venues isn’t the first Sun Goes Down 2024 changeup. Initially only planning for one Foxborough, Mass. show, Chesney added a second, selling both out in a wildly competitive summer of live music. That response was so intense, Chesney added an unprecedented third New England show on Sunday night, which is well over two-thirds sold, too.

“People have choices,” says the only country artist on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Artists of the Last 25 Years for the past 14 years. “You never want to take fans or the marketplace as a given, and you always want to remember who you do this for: the people who love the music. I want to give people the best night of their summer...because they’re giving me some of the greatest nights of my life! And the response to Sun Goes Down made me decide to try some things.”

Chesney’s soccer stadiums shows are Saturday, June 29 at Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium, Tuesday, July 16 at Salt Lake City’s America First Field and Thursday, August 8 at Columbus, Ohio’s Historic Crew Stadium. All three shows on this configuration of Sun Goes Down 2024 will feature CMA Song of the Year and New Artist nominee Megan Moroney and old friend and multiple week No. 1 “When The Sun Goes Down” partner Uncle Kracker.

With “Take Her Home” landing on 133 reporting country stations in its first week, Chesney’s once again hitting a nerve among his fans – often described as the most loyal alongside the Deadheads and Parrotheads – with a real life song that tracks the moments that define a life in the best way possible. The song embracing taking the risks that make real people’s lives sweeter, it’s the essence of No Shoes Nation: people living life who lean in, hang on and love every single moment along the way.

Presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, Sun Goes Down 2024 returns the high-velocity musician to touring full-tilt and ready to do what he does best: stadiums. With New England being a stronghold, these shows show the love affair between Chesney and the Northeast continues.

Craig Morgan and Trace Adkins perform “That Ain’t Gonna Be Me” on “Fox & Friends”

Country music hit-maker, author and patriot Craig Morgan was joined by fellow Grand Ole Opry member and multi-platinum entertainer Trace Adkins to perform “That Ain’t Gonna Be Me” on Fox & Friends on November 16.  Watch the riveting live moment as the two took the historic stage at the Grand Ole Opry HERE. The collaboration,  which shot to the top of the iTunes Country Charts following the performance, can be found on Morgan’s recently released Enlisted EP.

“For me, it’s about God and family and country,” Morgan says of the stately anthem. “I am so blessed, and I recognize the enormous blessings of the freedoms we celebrate in this nation.”

In late July of this year, Morgan answered the call from the Army Reserve on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry and re-enlisted. Morgan previously served with the Army’s 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions and was making a commitment to attain 20 years of service.

Just as the Army has called on Morgan, the Tennessee native has recruited some of his talented friends to contribute to his latest project, available now. Appropriately titled Enlisted (Broken Bow Records), the six-track release offers new takes on four of his biggest hits along with two new tracks and includes appearances by an all-star group of performers including Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Gary LeVox, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, and Lainey Wilson.

Adkins is currently out on his headline SOMEWHERE IN AMERICA 2023 TOUR, with shows spanning coast to coast throughout the year.
