Hear Nightfall's New Album A Day Early

Ever since they formed in the early '90s, Nightfall have stood alongside Rotting Christ and Septicflesh as the pioneering trinity of Greek metal. Fearsome frontman Efthimis Karadimas and his band of Athenian rebels are still out for revenge on their new album, but Children of Eve is backed by the biggest hooks in their pantheon-level discography.

"One of the best releases of the year", wrote Metal Temple in a perfect 10/10 review of Children of Eve. "It's sinister, morbid, darkened, aggressive, it's a Nightfall release!"

Children of Eve comes out tomorrow, Friday, May 2, but you can hear all 10 stage-shaking tracks today by listening to the full album stream below.

Like their brothers-in-arms, Nightfall sculpt towering gothic melodies from blackened slabs of death metal. Children of Eve is blessed with the mightiest choruses in the band's formidable history. Their new album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, who's helped Volbeat, Amaranthe and The Black Dahlia Murder crank their metallic fury to arena levels.  Lead single “I Hate” seethes with blast beats from ex-Septicflesh drummer Fotis Benardo that flow with all the fire and fury of the River Styx.

During Nightfall's most recent hiatus, Efthimis was diagnosed with depression. Now, he wears a black mask to cover half of his face, symbolizing what it's like to live under the invisible veil of mental illness. "When you have demons in your mind, you're not always an ideal companion", he admits. "That stigma can lead to isolation".

Now, Nightfall are encouraging fellow metalheads to speak up. The band have launched a new initiative called Metal Music Against Depression (MMaD), which is supported by European Alliance Against Depression in Germany. "We can talk about this. We can sing about it. We can build a community that's based on understanding", Efthimis says.

With Children of Eve, Nightfall return from the shadows to unite blackened souls everywhere with their darkest and most epic creation yet.

Nightfall Lead Beastly Anthem on New Single "Seeking Revenge"

Since rising up from Athens' underground in 1991, Nightfall have stood as pillars for Greek metal alongside current and former Season of Mist label mates Rotting Christ and Septicflesh.

Like their brothers-in-arms, captain Efthimis Karadimas and his Athenian rebels sculpt towering gothic melodies from fiery blackened death metal. Their monumental eleventh full-length is bolstered by a powerful message and the mightiest production in the band's pantheon-level discography. The latest single from Children of Eve charges into the heat of battle with the same vengeance that fueled their rise, but "Seeking Revenge" is spearheaded by the biggest hell-raising chorus on an album full of crowd-pleasers.

"We wrote this song in retaliation for the vengeful teachings that the catechism practices on us", Efthimis says. "It seeks revenge for the expelled ones, the traders of anathema, who have the outlandish desire to disobey Christian Svengali".

Nightfall Unleash Righteous Anger on "The Cannibal"

For more than 30 years, Nightfall have stood as a shining pillar for Greek metal.

Like darkness after sunset, the deadly Athenians rose through the underground alongside their current and former label mates Rotting Christ and Septicflesh. The band's monumental eleventh album is solidified by the most electrifying hooks and thunderous production in their pantheon-level discography. But while the latest single from Children of Eve scrapes across the sky with a stadium-shaking chorus, "The Cannibal" digs deeper into the powerful message that has always served as Nightfall's rallying cry.

"Our new single speaks to an insatiable fear that's been fueled by eons of catechism", says Nightfall's half-masked leader Efthimis Karadimas. "I hate the cannibal that lurks inside us, eating us alive from within".

Nightfall were the first Greek metal band to sign an international record deal, but living under the Eastern Orthodox Church over the past three decades has only deepened their disdain for overzealous rulers. "Anger was the root", Efthimis says when asked what birthed Children of Eve. "The Cannibal" bites back at how religious dogmas can eat you alive from the inside.

"I own a field / Inside your mind", Efthimis foams at the mouth, as if driven mad by the angel on his shoulder. "That's where the guilt / It's rooted deep".

Read down through the tracklist of Children of Eve and it's no mystery that first single "I Hate" and ferocious follow-up "The Cannibal" are aimed at pious devils. But the album's internal battle is personal for Nightfall's fearsome frontman. When the band retreated amongst the shadows during their 2010's hiatus, Efthimis was diagnosed with depression. He now wears a black mask that covers half of his face to show what it's like to live under the invisible veil of mental illness.

"Mental illness can lead to self-isolation", says Efthimis, a stigma he's now fighting through his new initiative Metal Music against Depression. "We can talk about this. We can sing about it. We can build a community that's based on understanding".

To amplify the message behind their new album, Nightfall boosted the production for Children of Eve. Once again, Efthimis and drummer Fotis Benardo took charge of the production with a guiding hand from InnerWish guitarist Thimios Krikos. But the album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, who's helped Volbeat, Amaranthe and The Black Dahlia Murder crank their metallic fury to arena levels. "The Cannibal" leaps out your speakers with voracious double bass and lightening fast riffs that sink their teeth into a meaty bass groove.

"Terror, the sky turns red", Efthimis roars during a blood-pumping chorus that's bound to unite the blackened masses when Nightfall bless the world stage with Children of Eve.

“We're excited to play this album live", Efthimis says. "The songs sound massive. The choruses are huge. And there’s a clear message that comes through”.

Nightfall Appear on CNN

For more than three decades, Nightfall have stood as a shining pillar for Greek metal.

Since rising from Athens' underground catacombs in the early '90s, half-masked frontman Efthimis Karadimas and his crew of rebels have sculpted towering, Gothic melodies from blackened slabs of metal. The band's upcoming eleventh album stands tall amongst the pantheon of their discography as its darkest and most epic creation yet. Blessed with thunderous production, a powerful and timely message, and the most electrifying hooks in their 30-year career, with Children of Eve, Nightfall are uniting blackened souls everywhere.

Efthimis, drummer Fotis Benardo and bassist Vasiliki Biza invited CNN Greece correspondent Stelios Papagrigoriou to Devasoundz Studios, where Children of Eve was recorded. They discussed the early days of the Greek metal scene, what stands out about their new album, mental health and the presence of women in metal.

"We've always wanted to communicate through our music with people like us, with people who like the hard sound", Efthimis told CNN. "At first, we struggled a lot, since in the past things were very difficult in Greek society. They didn't like intensities, long hair, chains, etc. People showed interest much later. When they realized that what we are doing is serious and has a future".

Nightfall Return with Darkest, Catchiest and Most Epic Album Yet

Since 1991, Nightfall have stood alongside Rotting Christ and Septicflesh as the pioneering trinity of Greek metal. The blackened death metal band sound as vengeful as ever. But the Athenians' upcoming eleventh album is their darkest and most epic creation yet. Backed by monumental production, a powerful message and the biggest choruses in the band's 30-year history, with Children of Eve, Efthimis Karadimas and his fellow rebels are set to unite blackened souls everywhere.

"I love how this album came out", Efthimis says. "We're excited to play these songs live. The sound is massive. The choruses are huge. And there's a message that comes through. It's an album about how we come through pain, how we live with pain and how we die in pain".

Watch the vengeful video for the album's anthemic lead single "I Hate" below.

Like their brothers-in-arms, Nightfall sculpt towering gothic melodies from their blackened slab of death metal. After all, they're the first Greek band to perform at Wacken Open Air. Children of Eve is blessed with the mightiest set of hooks in their deep discography. Their new album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, who's worked with Volbeat, Amaranthe, The Black Dahlia Murder and many other big names from metal's pantheon. "I Hate" seethes with thunderous bass, riffs that crack like lightning and blast beats from ex-Septicflesh drummer Fotis Benardo that flow with all the fire and fury of the River Styx.

"I am a manic servant of deity of doom", Efthimis roars as a Greek choir echoes his righteous anger like the call of a siren.

Their new single will have the festival masses headbanging and raising horns, but it wouldn't bear the mark of Nightfall if it didn't possess a deeper message. While the band's disdain for the restrictions of the Eastern Orthodox Church has only grown, their latest act of rebellion was fueled by the ongoing rise of religious wars. "Anger was the root", Efthimis reveals about what inspired Children of Eve. In the video for "I Hate", a fallen warrior is resurrected, only to hunt down his guardian angel.

"Faith is a personal matter", Efthimis continues, "but it can become a dirty business".

It's a message that the frontman hopes will unite metal messiahs across the globe. While Nightfall was on hiatus during the 2010s, Efthimis was diagnosed with depression. He now wears a black mask to cover half of his face to symbolize what's it's like to live under the invisible veil of mental illness. "We can talk about this. We can sing about it", he says when asked about the band's new initiative Metal Music Against Depression (MMaD), which is supported by the European Alliance Against Depression in Germany. "We can build a community that's based on understanding".

NIGHTFALL Covers The Cramps' "Mean Machine"

Greek metal masters NIGHTFALL are now premiering a new lyric video for the track 'Mean Machine' which was originally recorded by THE CRAMPS in 1994. The track was recorded by NIGHTFALL in December 1996 in Tico Tico studios, Finland and served as a bonus track to the "Lesbian Show" album. The clip can be seen and heard below.

Vocalist Efthimis Karadimas comments: "'Mean Machine' is the first ever song I listened by the Cramps. Its filthy sound and performance might well be described as a spit to the face of anything normal out there. Lyric-wise I'd say it is more about accepting the role of the bad guy, rather than trying to prove the opposite. The 90s were wild in terms of social approbation. I felt connected to that song for somehow it made me feel it was like we were the 'mean machines,' the outcasts, the bad guys, people did not want to have any connection with. The Cramps have ceased to exist, but thanks to Burton's 'Wednesday' Netflix series, they are beautifully haunting our dreams again. 'Mean Machine's' our tribute to them. We share it with you untouched, right from the depths of XX Century."

The band is supporting their 2021 release, 'At Night We Prey.' The album is about depression's martyrdom and how societies mistreating and stigmatizing those who suffer and can be streamed, downloaded, and purchased HERE.

It has been seven long years since the world was last blessed with new music from the melodic blackened death metal stalwarts of NIGHTFALL. While the band has been absent from the scene since the release of 2013’s Cassiopeia, their legacy has not been forgotten. Comprising the holy trinity of Greek metal – along with ROTTING CHRIST and SEPTICFLESH – NIGHTFALL was the first extreme act in the country to sign an international deal, introducing the world to the burgeoning Mediterranean scene in the early 90s. Now, the band is plotting a triumphant return with At Night We Prey, the darkest and latest chapter of NIGHTFALL’s already storied career. Unlike past efforts, the band abandons any gothic aesthetic, traversing more into a melodic assault that calls to the sounds of Gothenburg, displaying an obvious maturation from the band that showcases their most serious, evolved, and tightest effort to date.

During the first decade of NIGHTFALL’s lifespan, the band headlined stages across Europe. Thereafter, went on to dominate international festivals such as Brutal Assault, Sonisphere, and Wacken, the latter of which the band solidified their legacy as the first ever Greek band to earn an envied spot at the renowned festival. The band eventually made the decision to switch to a studio act before they went completely silent. When reflecting upon the sudden disappearance after a steady rise from the underground, vocalist and founding member Efthimis Karadimas explained that it was due to an all too familiar beast – depression. “It's because of depression that kicked in as early as mid-00s. I can write for hours and get into details about stuff gone wrong or mistreated situations, but the basis of all discouragement to move on has been depression and the effort required to get over it.” Despite the dark days, Karadimas did not abandon music entirely, moving on to form THE SLAYERKING, a gothic doom metal band that has released two agonizing full-length records between 2016-2019.

Alas, the abrupt departure of the band was not the final “goodbye” as NIGHTFALL has been reinvigorated with a new lineup and coveted deal with Season of Mist. Karadimas has reunited with original NIGHTFALL guitarist Mike Galiatsos, who helped define the band’s sound during the early years. With the addition of drummer and producer Fotis Benardo (ex-SEPTICFLESH) as well as guitarist Kostas Kyriakopoulos (THE SLAYERKING), the band is finally ready to release the tenth studio album At Night We Prey. In addition to the long-awaited new music, Season of Mist will also be re-issuing the band’s original albums that were produced by Holy Records back in the 90s. This is not the only news the band has to share as NIGHTFALL has also vowed to finally perform again. “We are gonna play these live, including stuff never played live before,” says Karadimas.

At Night We Prey is a very dark and personal effort, tackling the topic of Karadimas’s battle with depression. “A beast I have experienced its teeth deep into my soul, I decided to come out and share that experience with metalheads,” Karadimas laments. “This is the least I can offer now to the big fight against depression. If we do not stop this, it will eat us all alive. Share your pain, speak openly about it. This is the only way to kill the demons in your mind.”

NIGHTFALL Premieres New Live Video for "Witches"

NIGHTFALL have previously announced new European tour dates together with Draconian in March 2021! A full list of confirmed shows can be found below.

The album artwork for 'At Night We Prey' was created by Travis Smith and can be found below along with the tracklist.

Before dropping their second album and label debut, Nightfall, this Friday, German metalcore powerhouse SETYØURSAILS keeps the anticipation high by unveiling the album’s exciting title track today. For this massive sonic experience, the fast-rising act teamed up with Andy Doerner, singer of metalcore veterans Caliban, to deliver THE hard-as-nails kickstart to 2022. The third single comes with a spectacular music video shot within the impressive locale of Brandis Castle near Leipzig, Germany.

“Nightfall” showcases the full straightforward range of Jules Mitch’s vocals, which oscillate between concise and clear, intense screams and expressive growling – all perfectly underlined by the powerful growls of Andy Doerner. With raging drums, heavy guitars and hard-hitting breakdowns, this hefty outburst will heat up the anticipation even more for the unit’s new offering!

SETYØURSAILS about “Nightfall”:

“We are overjoyed to present our third single release with our esteemed colleague Andy Doerner (Caliban). We deliberately named it the same as the album, as it is the centerpiece of the record. 'Nightfall' is about the contradiction of being trapped in the darkness and being scared, but at the same time, worshipping the darkness. The crucial sentence that makes this clear is 'they say the nightfall brings fear, but it's the sun I can't stand'. Which means 'I struggle with my depression, but I'm also drawn to it because the darkness is familiar and makes me feel safe.' Also, the sun in this case is symbolic of coming to terms with the illness and that it is easier to sink into it rather than fight it. Again, a very personal text that looks deep into Jules' daily struggle. We very much hope that some people will find themselves in it - and can identify with it, so that they can draw an important message from it: You are not alone!”

Andy Doerner (Caliban) adds:

"Since I've known SETYØURSAILS, I have become a big fan. They’re one of my favorite up-and-coming bands from Germany.

'Nightfall' is a monster of a bouncer and the chorus really blew me away. I love Jules voice and I'm happy to be a part of it! Give it a spin."

SETYØURSAILS on the video:

“We had a super nice day at Brandis Castle near Leipzig (Germany). We had the whole building to ourselves and took advantage of as much of it as we could. It was especially great working with Andy from Caliban. He is a great artist and one of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure to meet. It was all very relaxed and just a lot of fun. To see a well-known and established artist perform your own song with such passion was just great. We are incredibly grateful for all the great people who work with us. At this point we would like to say a big thank you to our videographer Peter Leukhardt.”

Young, enraged and standing steadfastly against hate – SETYØURSAILS perform uncompromising yet melodic post hardcore-influenced metalcore, convincing both live and on record. The unit has already performed at well-known festivals (Reload Festival, Traffic Jam Open Air) and converted fans alongside genre greats like Bullet for My Valentine, Hatebreed, Jinjer and Walls of Jericho with their unbeatable live energy. Their first album, Enough (2018), has attracted the attention of noteworthy outlets like FUZE and MoreCore, and now, SETYØURSAILS are proudly heading for round two.

Nightfall stands as an impressive return for SETYØURSAILS, who once again prove their musical diversity. A mixture of catchy choruses and intense breakdowns are evident on brutally melodic "Why", the changing spectrum of "Deadline", and "Into the Storm", which starts with a crisp deathcore intro. Among others, "Nightfall" (featuring Andy Doerner of metalcore veterans Caliban) shows the full straightforward range of Jules Mitch’s vocals, which oscillate between concise and clear, intense screams and expressive growling. "Mirror"begins atmospherically before bubbling up to an impressive journey through personal conflicts without losing its undeniably catchy quality. With tracks like "Secrets" and "Forgive Me" the band also presents its softer side. SETYØURSAILS are also full of surprises – together with Mike Perez from No Bragging Rights, they cover "Shallow” (from the film A Star Is Born) by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, and give the ballad their personal touch, once again proving their musical diversity. Nightfall was produced, recorded, mixed & mastered by Annisokay vocalist/guitarist Christoph Wieczorek and songwriter/producer Julian Breucker at Sawdust Recordings. Both have already worked with greats like Beyond The Black, Eisbrecher and Emil Bulls – just to name a few.

SETYØURSAILS about their new album:

“This album is the most honestly written work we could get out of ourselves. It reflects the struggle of dealing with oneself, fear and life itself. It's dark, it's loud and it hurts. But most importantly- it's true.”

Fast-Rising Metalcore Powerhouse SETYØURSAILS Releases Second Single “Mirror” + Official Music Video

New Album, Nightfall, Featuring Guests from Caliban, Annisokay & No Bragging Rights, Drops January 21, 2022 via Napalm Records

Pre-Order NOW!

SETYØURSAILS deliver THE melodic metalcore/post-hardcore kickstart into 2022!

Just recently, German metalcore powerhouse SETYØURSAILS announced their second album and label debut, Nightfall, marking a riveting start with their first single, "Ghosts", featuring Annisokay frontman Rudi Schwarzer. Today, the newcomers from Cologne are back with another unforgettable new song, "Mirror", which will have fans of bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Annisokay, Bad Omens, I Prevail and Wage War clamoring for more from this exciting new artist on the rise.

Accompanied by a brand new, intense music video packed with visually flashing cinematics, “Mirror” showcases SETYØURSAILS’ trademark mixture of metalcore, death and classic hardcore elements that will blow your mind. The song maintains the versatile vocal expressions of frontwoman Jules, ranging from vicious screams over powerful singing to compressed whispering and aggressive respiration encased by raging drums, heavy guitars and a hard-hitting breakdown that will leave your head banging!

SETYØURSAILS about “Mirror”:

“'Mirror' reflects an inner conflict with yourself. It describes the struggle to find meaning in life and how you fail in the end. It deals with the fear of death and that you can find no support for yourself in religious approaches. This is made clear especially by the line 'all my gods are dead' in the breakdown part.

It's a very personally written, honest song that means a lot to us and we are very proud to finally be able to present it now. We really hope that some people can find themselves in it."

SETYØURSAILS on the video:

“We shot the video for 'Mirror' right around the corner from our rehearsal room, at the height of summer in the 'Kantine' in Cologne. Not even the 45°C on the day of the shoot stopped Jules from coming to the set in a turtleneck sweater and leather jacket. But after a short, sweaty photo shoot, both items of clothing were exchanged for a shirt.”

NIGHTFALL Shares New Music Video for "Martyrs of the Cult of the Dead (Agita)"

Last week, Greek melodic metal masters NIGHTFALL premiered the NSFW official music video for the song "Martyrs of the Cult of the Dead (Agita)" via OnlyFans! The band is now sharing the censored version of the video via the official Season of Mist YouTube. You can watch the latest version below.

The original video, which was created by Antoine de Montremy, can also be seen for FREE at THIS LOCATION.

NIGHTFALL vocalist Efthimis Karadimas previously commented, "We are honored to have our 'Martyrs of the Cult of the Dead,' aka 'Agita,' being made by Antoine de Montremy, the producer of Chris Holmes' documentary 'Mean Man' (official selection in 2020 Hollywood Gold Awards, Florence Film Awards, Orlando Film Festival and FMX) and his fabulous team. The video is based on 'Agita' lyrics and it represents the struggle with depression through its personification in female form (the word "depression" is a female noun in the Greek language). OnlyFans premiere has been chosen to avoid problems with YouTube's strict policy towards nudity and violence. Especially the latter. This is not a porn video."

Video director Antoine de Montremy added, "In pure Nightfall fashion, approaching this video and the song's concept has been quite a challenge: Efthimis already had a very precise vision for 'Agita' and we wanted to honor both the song and its message.

"Opening up about depression and its very solitary struggle is quite a brave move in nowadays so well polished metal world. Introducing female metaphors and pushing all boundaries was the only path to illustrate this inner struggle between love and hate, comfort and fear, joy and despair.

"Blessed with Hanna and Fanny's outstanding performances - embodying all feelings human mind can experience - and thanks to the greatest filming crew ever, we are happy to unleash the fury of Agita to the world!"

NIGHTFALL Streams New Album in Full Ahead of Release

Greek metal masters NIGHTFALL are now streaming their new full-length, 'At Night We Prey,' in full ahead of today’s release!

Vocalist Efthimis comments on the stream: "This album is made of anger and hope. Anger about all those stereotypes built around serious subjects affecting all, like depression; and hope for things to change for the better. We sing for younger generations to break down old misconceptions about mental disorders. Music in this album is not following a linear pattern, but rather tries to catch the entire spectrum of mood swings one is experiencing, while in this state. It is a blend of fast and slow parts, heavy and heavier passages, in a natural progress from start to end. Enjoy it and let its message root in you."

The new album is available for pre-orders HERE.

NIGHTFALL Premieres New Song, "Giants of Anger"

Greek metal masters NIGHTFALL are now unleashing "Giants of Anger," the third and final new single of their brand new opus, 'At Night We Prey.' The full-length is set for release on March 05, 2021.

The new album is available for pre-orders HERE.

Vocalist Efthimis comments on the track: "'Giants of Anger' is about Wilhelm's II (the last German emperor) struggle with Erb's palsy, and the mental challenges he underwent to overcome it in a world where royal blood ought to be healthy. The song is carrying the frustration and reminds us all that mental disorders make no discrimination."

NIGHTFALL Premieres New Song, "Killing Moon"

Nightfall's brand new track 'Killing Moon' which is taken from their new album 'At Night We Prey'. Release date: March 05, 2021.► Order here: https://redirec...

Greek melodic metal masters NIGHTFALL will be releasing their new full-length, 'At Night We Prey,' on March 5, 2021 via Season of Mist, making it the band's debut to the label! The band has shared "Killing Moon," the brand new second single from the offering.

'At Night We Prey' is now available for pre-orders HERE.

Vocalist Efthimis Karadimas comments on the track: "'Killing Moon' is about losing yourself into horrifying thoughts. This is a fight you give every single day with depression. It is a real battlefield with you hiding in sloppy trenches, amid heavy bombardment. When the night falls, things become nastier; depression hits you harder in solitude. The burden is heavier when you are alone and all you need is peace of mind. You would beg for help, but it is like your voice is muted and none can hear you. None can understand the situation you are into. That makes you mad. Anger builds up. Faith collapses. You become prey to depression and your reactions turn violent. Only way out is that dim light of a guiding star you somehow trust it’s gonna save you. But is it true?"
NIGHTFALL have previously announced new European tour dates together with Draconian in March 2021!

NIGHTFALL Announces New Album, Shares New Single

Nightfall's brand new track 'Darkness Forever' which is taken from their new album 'At Night We Prey'. Release date: March 05, 2021.► Order here: https://red...

Greek melodic metal masters NIGHTFALL will be releasing their new full-length, 'At Night We Prey,' on March 5, 2021 via Season of Mist, making it the band's debut to the label! The album details and artwork can be found below. In addition, the band has shared the first single from the new effort, "Darkness Forever,"

The new album is now available for pre-orders HERE.

Vocalist Efthimis Karadimas comments on the track: "This song was originally inspired by Isaac Asimov’s nouvelle Nightfall. It is called 'Darkness Forever' because of its analogy to what one experiences when in deep depression. Hope seems to be nowhere near and help from others is never enough to bridge the gap between shattered psyche and real world. Incapacity to communicate this harsh condition, to explain what all is about, is suffocating. And as all beings struggling to breathe, reactions are neurotic and violent."

January 29, 2021
► 'Parade into Centuries' (1992)
► 'Macabre Sunsets' (1993)
► 'Athenian Echoes' + 'Eons Aura' EP (1995)

February 12, 2021
► 'Lesbian Show' (1997)
► 'Diva Futura' + 'Electronegative' EP (1999)

The reissues are now available for pre-orders HERE. The original albums are already available on all digital platforms. Check out the special 'This is Nightfall' playlist HERE.

Vocalist Efthimis comments on the re-issues: "The glorious decade of the 90s is never outdated. It is the mother of all good music and rebellious styles rooted deep in the heart of the death and black scene. Nightfall have been an active part of this movement, and we are more than excited to have the chance to see these releases coming out again. And some of them, never printed on vinyl before; 'Athenian Echoes,' 'Lesbian Show' and 'Diva Futura.' This is wonderful. As band we decided to keep the original artwork and the original sound to let old fans remember the greatness of those times and the younger ones to taste the real thing. There is nothing better than maintaining originality in a reissue. And these releases do exactly this to the favor of the listener who wants to travel back in times of wonder and pure creativity. It is a cult relic that well preserves the powerful mysticism of the enchanting atmosphere of the 90s’ magic era!"

In celebration, the band has also released a brand new performance video of the track "As Your God is Failing Once Again," which is taken from the album 'Macabre Sunsets.' The video was shot at the Sierra Studio's last summer.

NIGHTFALL will release their brand new album in March 2021. Stay tuned for more info and a new track!

Greek metal masters NIGHTFALL have shared a brand new performance video for the song "Ishtar (Celebrate your Beauty)," which was recently performed live at the Sierra Studio's in Athens (GR). The track is taken from the band's 1995 release, 'Athenian Echoes.' The record will be reissued by Season of Mist in the future.

Vocalist Efthimis comments on the video: "We are crushingly excited by the fact we are here playing these old classics again. We have spent a hell of a time in the studio to prepare ourselves to be ready to offer nothing less but the absolute best to all of you! We sincerely hope you will enjoy every single moment in this performance and support our Nightfall cult.  More visual and audio samples will follow. This is a song about Ishtar, Queen of Heaven, Inanna, Star of Venus, Goddess of Sex, Goddess of War, Goddess of Justice and Power; This is a song about thee, sung by the almighty adorers of your beauty, the Athenian devotees of thy name."

Moreover, NIGHTFALL will release a brand new album early 2021 via Season of Mist, making it the band's debut to the label.
