Reigning ACM New Duo of the Year Tigirlily Gold arrive today with their debut album, Blonde, via Monument RecordsIn many ways, the project is a culmination of the sister duo’s perseverance in chasing their dreams – showcasing a collection of songs both reminiscent of their five years spent entertaining the rowdy crowds on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, as well as the growth they’ve experienced while navigating love and loss in the mix. Listen to Blonde HERE.

“Our debut album is finally out in the world! We’ve spent the past 11 years working towards this moment, and to have this collection of music out feels amazing,” sisters Kendra and Krista share. “We truly feel like we’ve entered a new chapter of our career, kicking it off with the ‘Blonde’ era! Seeing fans reacting and choosing their favorites already is by far the best part.

Blonde is all about embracing your inner confidence, being bold, wearing your heart on your sleeve, and having the ability to poke fun at yourself when life doesn't go your way. We hope after people listen to these 10 songs they feel like they’ve gained two more sisters in this world,” they add.

The debut hits as current single “I Tried A Ring On” becomes their second to reach Top 40 at country radio, and Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh are just getting started. Adding to a blockbuster year for the sisters, Country Now notes the album “reflects their most authentic selves” while American Songwriter opines the project “spins everything true of the duo’s story and artistry into an album of sassy anthems.”

The album follows the pair’s 2021 self-titled EP and 2023 Blonde EP and features a cover of the Leona Lewis hit “Bleeding Love,” a favorite in the girls live show, as well as original tracks like the seductive “Move On” which Country Now lauded as “sexy… bold… forward” as it celebrates making the first move. While “Hometown Song” highlights the more serious side of the sisters, describing the push and pull of both loving and hating where you come from.

To the sister duo, “Blonde” is a state of mind. “You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy hair like this/ It’s a Dolly Parton state of mind,” they sing on the song’s chorus.

Blonde embodies this infectious energy while introducing a new chapter for the North Dakota natives, showcasing their mesmerizing harmonies and adept songwriting alongside relatable stories. The women knew they wanted to create a bold and fearless album. In doing so, they also leave a part of themselves in every song.

Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how entertaining is in their blood. After releasing their original song “Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists like Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde. Now, the powerhouse duo has embarked on a new musical chapter with their debut album, Blonde –a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment – available now. Their debut single at country radio, “Shoot Tequila,” reached the Top 40 and found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms, as well as two CMT Award nominations earlier this year for Breakthrough Female Video and Duo/Group Video of the Year. Their much anticipated follow up single “I Tried A Ring On” is at Country radio now. Written by Nora Collins, Jessie Jo Dillon and  Forest Glen Whitehead and produced by Pete Good and Shane McAnally, the 2024 CMT Next Women of Country hope fans walk away feeling empowered, confident and heard by this song as they urge the listener to leave a man who isn’t treating her right.

You probably ought to call Leroy
Tell him to get his Chevy, get you packed and ready to go
‘cause I done told you what I need boy
In one ear, out the other, feeling like your mother you know, yeah
I’ve cussed about it, I’ve cried about it
And now I’m nothing but tired about it
So, the next time you miss the sound of my voice
You probably ought to call Leroy

The Billboard-dubbed “harmonically savvy sibling duo” teamed with producers Shane McAnally, Pete Good and Alex Kline to create Blonde. In addition to “Leroy” the debut will feature current single “I Tried a Ring On,” which was one of the most-added singles, with 47 first-week adds, along with the rowdy viral sensation and Top 40 hit “Shoot Tequila.” Filled with deeply personal tracks and poignant tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment, the pair says their goal was to bring girl group energy back to country music.

Blonde is all about being undeniably and unapologetically yourself,” Krista says. “We want everyone to feel confident and vulnerable enough at the same time to say what they need to say.”

The forthcoming album follows the pair’s 2021 self-titled debut EP and 2023 EP Blonde and features a cover of the Leona Lewis hit “Bleeding Love,” a favorite in the girls live show, as well as original tracks like the seductive “Move On” which encourages women to make the first move. While “Hometown Song” highlights the more serious side of the sisters, describing the push and pull of both loving and hating where you come from.

“Every song about hometowns usually goes one of two ways, you either love it and it’s perfect or you hate it, and we could never relate to either of those exact feelings,” Kendra explains, “so we wanted to write a song that hints at both. It’s the emotion of when you are in a place for so long, wanting to leave and try something new, but when you’re gone, there’s nothing that can replace that feeling of home.”

The women owe a lot to their hometown of Hazen, ND. The sisters grew up in a house where singing was encouraged, and they learned early how to harmonize with each other. Taking a cue from a few of their musical influences – The Chicks, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Shania Twain and Dolly Parton – Kendra and Krista effortlessly blend their voices to create rich and robust harmonies.

In 2013, at the ages of 16 (Kendra) and 14 (Krista), the two sisters made the decision to pursue music full-time. With that, Tigirlily Gold was born. Fittingly, the band’s name comes from the ‘Tiger Lily’ flower that grew in the garden of their childhood home.

While Tigirlily Gold toured the Midwest throughout the mid-2010s, they also embraced online platforms like YouTube and TikTok. The young women shared their songs, showcased their talent, and connected with their ever-growing fanbase any way they could. After four years crisscrossing the Dakota’s, Montana, and Minnesota, Tigirlily Gold relocated from North Dakota to Tennessee in 2017.

The women quickly landed a weekly residence performing at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway, where they would see their fans, who were not residents of Music City, show up. The women often played four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Songs like barn burner “Shoot Tequila” were born from the time spent honing their craft on Broadway.

“I’ve been singing in honky tonks since before I could even legally ‘shoot tequila,’” Krista admits. “Playing on Broadway in Nashville for years really affected our sound, and we always lean towards writing songs that have great live energy. ‘Shoot Tequila’ is our ‘Broadway’ song, and we want people to get excited, grab a drink, and meet us at the nearest honky tonk to listen to the rest of the album.”

To Kendra and Krista, “Blonde” is a state of mind. The day they wrote the title track, everything changed. “The entire vision for the record was set, and we were set on capturing the feeling of confidence and being bold,” Krista says.

You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy hair like this/ It’s a Dolly Parton state of mind,” they sing on the song’s chorus.

“This song is about not taking anything too seriously and being able to poke fun at yourself, but also be really confident in who you are all at the same time,” Kendra says. “We thought a lot about strong women like Dolly Parton when writing this one. We really wanted to bring a unique, new, fun energy to country music and I think this song does a great job of showcasing that.”

Blonde embodies this infectious energy while introducing a new chapter for the sisters, showcasing their mesmerizing harmonies and adept songwriting alongside relatable stories. The women knew they wanted to create a bold and fearless album. In doing so, they also leave a part of themselves in every song.

“I hope listeners feel like they could hang out with us on a Friday night or have a heart-to-heart on a Sunday morning, that every emotion you feel is valid, that some nights you want to go shoot tequila and some nights you want to cry over a boy who shattered you,” Kendra says. “At the end of the day, no one has it all together, and we're all figuring out how to navigate love, loss, friends, memories, self-love, confidence.”

Tigirlily Gold Release New Single “I Tried A Ring On,” Impacting Radio On 1/22

Monument Records’ powerhouse duo Tigirlily Gold released their debut EP Blonde last summer, establishing sisters Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh’s prowess as entertainers with rowdy and empowering songs inspired by the years they spent performing in bars on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. Building on the success of the project’s top 40 track “Shoot Tequila,” which received more than 40 million streams to-date, the duo today unveils a new side to their songwriting, with their emotional new single, “I Tried A Ring On.”

“I Tried A Ring On,” written by Kendra and Krista, alongside Pete Good and Josh Jenkins, and produced by Pete Good, was inspired by their real-life heartbreak. Adding depth to their evolving story, “I Tried A Ring On” conveys a heartfelt tale of love’s illusion and the sobering aftermath of shattered expectations.

“We were noticing how many of the breakup songs in country music talk about how hard it is to get over someone, but another extremely hard part of heartbreak that not a lot of people talk about is the gut wrenching feeling of having to start over again when you truly thought you had forever with someone,” Tigirlily Gold shares. “‘I Tried A Ring On’ tells that side of the story, and we are excited for people to discover this whole other side of who we are as writers and as artists.”

The song is available across streaming platforms now and will impact country radio as the duo’s next single on Jan. 22. Listen

Below.

Drawing inspiration from classics previously sung by legends Charles Brown, Judy Garland and more, Hall breathes life into these timeless melodies with his velvety vocals. Following the release of his eagerly awaited debut album
Side Effects of The Heart on Sept. 15, Season's Greetings From Alex Hall comes as a delightful holiday treat to listeners with an added original song, “Reason To Believe,” drawn from re-experiencing the magic of the holidays as a parent through the lens of a child.

“I love classic Christmas songs, from Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ to Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town.’ Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, so I decided to record some Christmas music of my own,” shares Hall. “I hope you love my take on a few of the classics, but it was important to me to write a Christmas song of my own. I have a two-year-old son, and seeing Christmas through his eyes has brought back so much of the magic we can lose as adults.

“I hope you enjoy untying the bow on these songs, and maybe they can become part of your own holiday tradition for years to come! Merry Christmas and happy holidays.”

Hall is currently on the road through mid-December for his Side Effects Of The Heart Tour, presented by PBR Cowboy Bar and benefiting the CMA Foundation. The tour includes stops in Baltimore, MD; Louisville, KY; St. Louis, MO and more. For more information, visit

About Alex Hall:
Alex Hall launches the next chapter of his career with his brand-new record, Side Effects Of The Heart. A project that tells the stories of everything the singer, songwriter, and guitar player’s heart has been through these last few years.

Growing up on a small horse farm on the outskirts of Gainesville, GA, Hall’s earliest memory is hearing Elvis Presley on his grandfather’s radio. It’s a sound he never forgot, and one that prompted him to pick up a guitar for the first time when he was only four years old. He started learning the instrument seriously in middle school, and quickly graduated from choir solos to bar gigs. By the time he was in high school, Hall was playing over 150 shows a year.

After graduation, Hall moved to Nashville, TN and signed with Monument Records. He spent the last few years opening for Tanya Tucker and hitting the road with Brandy Clark, Little Big Town, and Tenille Townes. Tigirlily Gold Kick-Starts Holiday Season w/ “Falalala Falling,” Out Now

Monument Records’ sister duo Tigirlily Gold is “Falalala Falling” into the Christmas spirit, releasing their whimsical original Christmas song today via Monument Records. Written by Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh, alongside Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff, “Falalala Falling” captures the romanticism of the holidays spent with a loved one. Listen Below.

It’s getting kinda cold, so baby hold me close
Wrapped up in each other like we’re underneath the tree
Ain’t no kind of falling like falalala falling
        In love on Christmas Eve

"During the holiday season, there’s always a little extra magic in the air that makes you want to fall in love even more! ‘Falalala Falling’ is all about capturing that feeling of being with the one you love, snuggling up by the fire, and watching the snow fall,” share Kendra and Krista. “We grew up in North Dakota, and we are all too familiar with getting 'snowed in,' but it’s not always the worst case scenario if you’re snowed in with the one you love!"

Keeping in the holiday spirit, Tigirlily Gold’s 2021 cover of Faith Hill’s classic “Where Are You Christmas?” is featured in a 2023 Hallmark movie of the same name, which debuted last Saturday, Oct. 21 on Hallmark Channel. The movie, starring Lyndsy Fonseca, centers around her character, Addy, who wishes for a year without Christmas, and comes to regret it when that wish comes true. It will re-air every week.

Tigirlily Gold spent more than five years honing their craft on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, honing their stage presence and songwriting while delivering four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Born from those years spent entertaining the rowdy Broadway crowds, their debut EP Blonde, released earlier this year, captures that energy while highlighting the girls’ versatile songwriting.

The sisters recently performed their top-40 hit “Shoot Tequila” off Blonde on “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.” The upbeat party anthem is reminiscent of the push and pull of a toxic relationship, nodding to the irresistible temptation of caving to the “bad influence” of a tequila-induced night. Watch the performance
HERE.

“Falalala Falling” comes as they prepare to release more new music, with their debut full-length album due in early 2024. For the latest information visit,

About Tigirlily Gold:
Sister duo Tigirlily Gold has been playing music together since they could walk, and officially formed their band in high school. Growing up, they crisscrossed the mid-west, growing a fierce fan base and selling out amphitheaters across their home-state of North Dakota. After moving to Nashville, they landed a weekly residence at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Nashville’s famed lower Broadway. Playing four-hour sets, three to four nights a week, the sisters developed a performance style that’s not only captivating and fun but shows just how much entertaining is in their blood.

After releasing their original song “
Somebody Does,” in 2021, the track topped the iTunes chart and Tigirlily Gold was signed to Monument Records. They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists like Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde.

Now, the powerhouse duo has embarked on a new musical chapter with their EP, Blonde – a deeply personal project that includes tales of love and loss alongside powerful anthems and songs of female empowerment. Their current single, “Shoot Tequila,” has already found viral success with millions of views across social media, and millions of streams across platforms. The song is climbing the country radio charts now. Ready to bring girl group energy back to country music, Tigirlily Gold is poised for a breakout year.

Monument Records' sister duo Tigirlily Gold made their national television debut on Monday, Oct. 16, performing recent top 40 hit “Shoot Tequila” on NBC’s “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.”

For the girls from a small town of 5,000, their national television appearance was a dream realized. "Growing up as small town girls in Hazen, ND, we always had big city dreams of playing shows such as the Today Show, and this week that dream actually came!” Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh shared. “We are so grateful for this opportunity to play some country music in NYC with Hoda and Jenna!"

Tigirlily Gold spent more than five years honing their craft on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, perfecting their charisma and songwriting while delivering four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Alex Hall’s 10-Track “Side Effects Of The Heart” Out Now

What you need to know about 29-year-old Monument Records artist Alex Hall is that the guitar-slinger from Georgia leads with his heart. That lens shades every track on his first full-album, Side Effects Of The Heart, available now, with Hall eloquently capturing a journey through the primary plight of anyone’s lifetime: love, and the rewards and consequences of following your heart. Listen to the album HERE.

“I hope that I’m honest enough in them that people can hear themselves in these songs,” Hall shares. “I remember when certain albums came out that I could put on while cooking dinner at the end of a long day and they set a mood, and that’s what we aimed to do with this 10-track album.”

With so many of his influences swirling around throughout the writing and recording – from the guitar playing of Vince Gill to the vocals of Lee Ann Womack and Willie Nelson – Hall, “an astute guitarist with an expansive vocal range,” praises
Billboard“explores a variety of sounds on his first album. The project conveys an optimistic worldview, but it’s clearly filtered through real-world heartache and familiar disappointment.”

Released as the first taste of the project, album opener and title track “Side Effects Of The Heart” finds Hall bringing “a fresh kind of honesty to the studio as he draws from the sounds of both modern and classic country to pen this rollercoaster of emotions,” shares
Country NowThe title track gives listeners insight into what to expect on the project, along with an understanding of all that Hall has been through in his life:

First comes love and then comes the lonely
Then you’re climbing up the walls till the phone rings
You’re in Heaven, then you’re dying
Then you’re just so happy that you can’t stop crying
There’s no cure for it, and that’s the hardest part
We’re all a mess living with the side effects of the heart

The album also boasts a collaboration with 10x GRAMMY nominee Brandy Clark with “Women And Horses,” while “Her To Here” is a retrospective look at a series of events that ended a relationship. “I Know A Guy” finds Hall wittily suggesting he’s the guy to meet the laundry list of qualities a girl wants, as “Radio Waves” feeds the nostalgia of hearing a song that makes you revisit your younger years.

Rounding out the album with “Dad Now,” Hall poignantly and honestly tells the story of becoming a father, accompanied by wife Bri on violin.

Following the release of his critically acclaimed Six Strings EP, Hall and his fiancée eloped to California and shortly after found out they were expecting. With a European tour on the horizon and his debut album nearly complete, a new baby wasn’t necessarily in the plans: “Went from planning for a honeymoon to planning for a kid / Nine months fly by, first breath, first cry…Life makes you grow up in a moment…there’s so much more I gotta figure out / I’ll do my best ‘cause I guess I’m Dad now.

Driven by an intense work ethic that was instilled on the North Georgia horse farm he grew up on, Hall began playing the guitar at 14, and by 16, he had bartered a deal with his guidance counselor allowing him 60 absences in return for maintaining a passing GPA so he could begin pursuing his career. Intent on honing his skills, Hall formed a band and played over 125-dates-a-year across the southeast while completing his high school curriculum.

After graduating, Hall made the official move to Nashville and the journey to truly crafting his artistry began. After five years, in 2019, the stars finally aligned. Within a matter of two weeks, Hall signed his record deal with Monument Records and began writing with some of his most admired songwriters.

Hall hits the road this fall, supporting Tanya Tucker on tour stops in New York, N.Y., Knoxville, Tenn. and more. He’ll also perform at the Annapolis Songwriters Festival on Sept. 16 and 17, and at AmericanaFest in Nashville on Sept. 22.

Alex Hall Releases Retrospective "Her To Here" from Upcoming Album Side Effects Of The Heart

Walking the line of modern and classic with his outlaw spirit and his heart of gold, Alex Hall explores the rewards and consequences of following one’s heart on his upcoming debut album, Side Effects Of The Heart. His latest, “Her To Here,” finds Hall reflecting on a series of events that ended a relationship. Listen Below.

Written by Hall, Todd Clark and Travis Wood, “Her To Here” encapsulates Hall’s old soul and gentleman ways through its soulful lyrical delivery.

If I knew she was gonna call my bluff
I woulda wrapped my stubborn arms around her instead of acting tough
If I knew she wasn’t gonna hit the brakes
I’d’a chased her down the drive not watched her drive away

They’re ‘bout to turn the neon off
I’m barely hanging on the rocks
I leave my truck and catch a ride back home
Start replaying old voicemails with the phone up to my ear
How the hell’d I get from her to here?

Raised on a horse farm in North Georgia, Hall’s inspiration was born from country music legends Kris Kristofferson and Vince Gill, among others. Captivated by the art form, Hall began playing guitar at the age of 14. By 16, he had bartered a deal with his guidance counselor allowing him 60 absences in return for maintaining a passing GPA so he could begin pursuing his career. The influences and work ethic of his childhood drove the creation of the debut album, with a delivery reminiscent of the emotional honesty of Kristofferson, as Hall details the human experience of love, heartbreak, loneliness and what it costs to let the heart feel.

Following the release of title track “
Side Effects Of The Heart,” “Women And Horses (feat. Brandy Clark),” “Dad Now,” and “I Know A Guy,” “Her to Here” is the fifth song off Hall’s debut album Side Effects Of The Heart, due Sept. 15. Tigirlily Gold’s Empowering Debut EP is Available Now

Sister duo Tigirlily Gold spent more than five years honing their craft on Nashville’s Lower Broadway, perfecting their charisma and songwriting while delivering four-hour sets, three to four nights a week. Now, after signing to Monument Records in 2021, sisters Krista and Kendra Slaubaugh arrive with their debut EP, Blonde, which Holler notes is “packed full of unapologetic sass, empowerment and introspective songwriting prowess.”

Listen to the EP
HERE

“To us, Blonde the EP is a Dolly Parton state of mind. It’s all about being bold and confident in who you are, empowering others and being able to poke fun at yourself when life just isn’t going your way,” share the sisters. “These four songs are the start of a full-length record coming later on. Blonde hones in on what it means to be unapologetically yourself while remaining true to your roots. We are so excited for this new chapter of music together.”

Born from those years spent entertaining the rowdy Broadway crowds, Blonde captures that energy while highlighting the girls’ versatile songwriting. Opening with the bold, confident title track “Blonde,” the sisters set the tone with the empowering girl anthem. Inspired by Dolly Parton, “Blonde” goes beyond describing a hair color, but rather depicts a state of mind while encouraging girls to live unapologetically.

“Hometown Song” vulnerably depicts the girls’ inner turmoil of both loving and hating the small town they grew up in. Hailing from Hazen, ND, with a population of less than 3,000, Tigirlily Gold toil with leaving to chase their Music City dreams, while simultaneously longing for the place they called home and being thankful to have left.

The latest release, “Move On,” penned by Kendra, Krista, Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff, is a clever wordplay, urging a love interest to “make a move on, move on me” on a date night.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the newest song off the EP, Tigirlily Gold adds, “‘Move On’ is all about being forward and confident enough to make the first move on someone you like. We wrote this one with two of our favorites, Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff and really dove into a new vibe lyrically and musically with this one! It’s the perfect, funky, flirty song to round off the EP!”

The EP ends with “Shoot Tequila,” showcasing the girls’ ability to entertain with American Songwriter opining it, “packs an energy-filled punch that’s tailor-made for country radio.” The upbeat party anthem is reminiscent of the push and pull of a toxic relationship, nodding to the irresistible temptation of caving to the “bad influence” of a tequila-induced night.

Tigirlily Gold’s infectious personality and growing catalog of songs continues to endear them in the Music City scene. The girls most recently performed for the ACM Awards Red Carpet Show on May 11, followed by their Grand Ole Opry debut on May 13 and a performance on the Maui Jim Reverb Stage at CMA Fest on June 9.

Raised on a horse farm in North Georgia, Hall’s inspiration was born from country music legends Kris Kristofferson and Vince Gill, among others. The influences and work ethic of his childhood drove the forthcoming project, with a delivery reminiscent of the emotional honesty of Kristofferson, as Hall hopes to detail the human experience of love, heartbreak, loneliness and what it costs to let the heart feel.

"I’m so excited to finally announce my debut album, Side Effects Of The Heart. Making my first full length record is a moment I’ve dreamed of my entire life, and I have poured every ounce of that energy into the songs and the recordings," reflects Hall. "It’s a journey of my life story and stories from others I’ve picked up along the way. Leading with my heart first, the ups and downs of love and loss and the transitions between being single, getting married and having my first child is all woven into the fabric of this record. I’m looking forward to world getting to hear it!"

Written by Hall and Clark along with AJ Babcock and Pete Good and produced by Good and Hall, “Women And Horses” explores what it means to love a strong and independent woman.

Big skies and sunsets ain’t meant to be roped in
That kind of beauty is meant to be soaked in
Don’t fence in her freedom, leave the gate open
‘cause women and horses ain’t meant to be broken

On the impact of the song, Hall shares, "'Women And Horses' is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of. It’s the first song I ever wrote with my now dear friend, Brandy Clark, alongside Pete Good and AJ Babcock and I’m so happy to have Brandy singing with me on the recording. We wrote the song about my upbringing on a small horse farm back home in North Georgia and how the beauty and strength of a horse reminds me of the same beauty and strength of the women in my life like my Momma, my Sister and my Wife. I wouldn’t be the man I am without them or the horses that helped shape me."

The latest tracks follow is 2021 star-studded collaborative EP, Six Strings, which featured duets with his musical heroes Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and more. As he prepares to release his debut album, each song will delve further into the side effects of the heart.

Sister duo Tigirlily Gold took the internet – and country radio – by storm with the release of rowdy single “Shoot Tequila,” which to date has garnered over 50 million views across social media and arrived at country radio in March as the second-most-added song upon impact. Building on that momentum, the North Dakota natives release their latest, song, “Hometown Song” – along with the official music video – and make their ACM Awards pre-show and Opry debuts in the same week. Listen to “Hometown Song” HERE and watch the official music video HERE.

Written by Krista and Kendra alongside Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff, “Howtown Song” highlights the push and pull of both loving and hating where you come from.

On May 11, the girls from North Dakota took their biggest stage yet, performing on the official ACM Awards Red Carpet show, which aired on Prime Video leading up to the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards. On Saturday, May 13, Tigirlily Gold once again reached a career milestone as they made their Grand Ole Opry debut.

"This past week has been a dream come true. We’ve spent ten years working towards moments like these, and we’d do it all over again to feel the magic we felt this past week," the sisters share. "It’s a truly amazing feeling to be living out the wild dreams us small town girls have had for so long. There were many specials moments, but the most special part about all of it was sharing these milestone moments together as sisters and as best friends."

The duo’s forthcoming debut EP Blonde is due via Monument Records on June 23, and incorporates inspiration from their greatest musical influence, Dolly Parton. Pre-save the EP

They released their self-titled, debut EP in July 2021, working with multi-Grammy Award Winner Shane McAnally, and hit the road with artists Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde.

Self-Produced Third Album Arrives One Day After Smith Receives

Nomination for ACM New Female Artist of the Year

Smith Sits Down with “CBS Mornings” to Discuss the
Inspiration Behind the Record, Watch below

Monument Records’ powerhouse vocalist Caitlyn Smith arrives today with her self-produced album: High & Low, signaling the start of her “virtuoso creative era” according to The Tennessean. High & Low arrives after a week of celebratory moments and on the heels of Smith receiving a nomination for ACM New Female Artist of the Year. Listen HERE

“What a week! I’m both honored and grateful to be nominated for an ACM Award for ‘New Female Artist of the Year.’ What a joy it is to be in the company of such incredible artists,” shared Smith. “I moved to Nashville to chase this dream over a decade ago and to get that news the day before my third album drops is beyond anything I could have ever dreamed. This record is so personal and stepping into the producer chair for it was both terrifying and empowering, but I knew in order to grow I had to allow myself to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. I’m so excited to finally share it with the world."

Smith sat down this morning with “CBS Mornings” to discuss the new project and the moments of vulnerability which inspired her to look inward for it. Watch the interview HERE.

For Smith, the making of High & Low represented a metamorphosis. Looking back, the award-winning songwriter realized she, as many do in the era of social media, had celebrated the “highs” of life publicly – while navigating the “lows” in private. Instead of showing vulnerability, it was easier to pretend everything was fine. But over the course of writing and producing High & Low, Smith learned to peel back the curtain, embracing all aspects of her life, including the “lows” she once held so close to vest.

Smith recently kicked off her 2023 The Great Pretender Solo Tour, an unplugged, unaccompanied, unique arrangement in celebration of her new album. In partnership with DTour, the trek includes 15 independent venues across the country celebrating the stories behind the songs. Fender’s ‘Next Artist’ Alex Hall joins Smith as direct tour support. About Caitlyn Smith
After winning a Critics Choice Award, earning a nomination for ACM New Female Artist of the Year and writing songs for the likes of Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Meghan Trainor and John Legend, Garth Brooks, Caitlyn Smith has established herself as one of Nashville’s brightest rising stars. Undeniably one of the best vocalists of this generation, Smith’s 2018 Starfire and 2020’s Supernova saw her in the pages of TIME Magazine and The New York Times, and had her named to Rolling Stone’s 10 country artists to know and Paste’s 10 country artists to watch. Smith’s self-produced High, was released in April 2022, with her follow-up effort High & Low due April 14 on Monument Records.

Walker Hayes Releases Two-Pack: "being a dad and missing mine"

Over the last few years, Monument Records recording artist Walker Hayes has experienced just about the highest high an artist can dream of. After grinding for nearly 20 years in Nashville, he struck gold with his smash hit “Fancy Like.” For months, the fun-filled tune could be heard in every bar, restaurant, sports game or tailgate, all while hundreds of thousands of people danced to it on TikTok. The song garnered Hayes a GRAMMY Nomination, among many other accolades, and led to a sold out, headlining arena tour.

While that success could be seen as the “American Dream,” Hayes knows better than to trust the fame and fortune. In the same set of years that he saw his music dreams come true, he went through one of the toughest losses of his life – the passing of his father. As a dad to six himself, with his seventh child Oakleigh in heaven, the loss hit Hayes square in the chest. Now, the singer/songwriter is delivering a project that highlights the loss his family has experienced while doing what he does best – looking inward. On the track “6 string american dream” Hayes sings:

Yeah I’m a little bit higher up on that Nashville ladder
but money didn’t fix anything that really matters
my haters still say I can’t sing
        my marriage still needs counseling
my sons don’t know how not to fight
my daughter’s shorts are too short & too tight
        if I’m drinking honestly
        still can’t drink responsibly
        I’m a 6 string American dream
but I still wake up sad
        I still need Jesus
and I still miss my dad

The other track, titled “if father time had a daughter,” is equally as introspective and finds Hayes begging Father Time to have mercy on the fathers who have to watch their little girls grow up so fast, singing “time would stand still a little longer / if Father Time had a daughter.”

"Been waiting to get these two songs out for a long time,” says Hayes. “As I look at the body of work and the songs I’m sitting on, I think about what I want to say – and this is what I want to say to the world right now. These songs wreck me in different ways and it’s my hope that everyone that listens will leave feeling real feelings."

being a dad and missing mine is out now on Monument Records, and is a prime example of why Billboard praised his music as “personal, soul-bearing storylines; rolling rhymes; and Macklemore-like cadence.”

Hayes is set to kick off his headlining arena tour, The Duck Buck Tour, this April in Rosemont, IL. For more information, visit walkerhayes.com

That track, as well as follow up single’s “AA” and “Y’all Life” have made Hayes one of the top selling and streamed artists in country music.

Caitlyn Smith Announces “The Great Pretender Solo Tour”

Monument Records’ powerhouse vocalist Caitlyn Smith took to social media this morning to announce her 2023 The Great Pretender Solo Tour, an unplugged, unaccompanied, unique arrangement in celebration of her new album High & Low (Release Date: April 14, 2023).

Kicking off April 3 in Austin, Texas, and in partnership with DTour, the trek includes 15 independent venues across the country celebrating the stories behind the songs.

“I wanted to bring my fans into the room with me to where these songs began. Feelings. Stories. One voice and one instrument. Songs in their purest form,” says the Critics’ Choice Award winner. “Sharing these wonderfully intimate rooms with people allows me to connect and be more vulnerable than I have been able to be in years. Hopefully this experience will mean as much to my fans as I know it’s going to mean to me.”

Fender’s ‘Next Artist’ Alex Hall joins Smith as direct tour support. General on sale begins this Friday, March 10 at 10 a.m. local time. For tickets and more information visit CaitlynSmith.com.

DTOUR is a network of independent venues and promoters offering national artists locally owned, unique venue experiences across multiple markets. The partnership follows a history of supporting independent venues for Smith. In 2021 she released a video depicting the emotional and tumultuous journey of an independent venue owner facing closure. Smith, along with GRAMMY-nominated Old Dominion, partnered on the music video for her powerful song, “I Can’t,” to not only chronicle the desperate conditions many beloved live music venues faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but to encourage viewers to support the National Independent Venue Association by visiting togetherwecan.caitlynsmith.com to donate to NIVA’s Emergency Relief Fund.

The Pollstar “Hotstar” headlined her High & Low Tour in 2022. Prior to that headlining run across the U.S. and UK, she spent the last year opening for George Strait, Reba, Little Big Town and Old Dominion where she played stadiums and arenas across the U.S. In March 2022, she made her debut appearance at C2C: Country to Country and left Lyric Magazine declaring she “was THE artist of the festival.”

Last year, Smith released High, the first half of a record that the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter self-produced. April 14 she will release the completion of that project, adding six new songs to make her full record, High & Low, due April 14. The additional tracks balance 2022’s critically-acclaimed High, celebrated by NPR as “her most fully realized project yet,” with High & Low capturing the full picture of who Smith is as an artist and as a creator – where embracing the yin and yang simply makes you more human.

About Alex Hall
Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, country singer and guitar player Alex Hall is the epitome of what it means to be an artist. After picking up an acoustic guitar at the age of 14, he quickly set to work learning every Elvis Presley song on the King’s ELV1S: 30 No. 1 Hits album – his raw talent earning him his first singing gig at a local restaurant when he was still in middle school. While singing weeknights at the restaurant and preforming local shows, Alex captured the attention of a Nashville booking agent, which resulted in about 125 shows a year throughout high school…a feat for any artist, let alone someone still receiving a report card…and a valuable introduction into the country music community. After moving to Nashville and signing with Monument Records, he released his debut EP, Six Strings – a guitar centered project that featured Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, John Osborne, Brad Tursi, Tenille Townes and Kassi Ashton. Alex has opened for Tanya Tucker on her While I’m Living tour, Brandy Clark on her Who You Thought I Was tour and has played dates with Little Big Town on their Nightfall tour. New music from Alex’s debut studio album will begin rolling out in April, with the full album expected in late August of this year. Tigirlily Gold Arrive with "Shoot Tequila" as Second Most-Added at Country Radio

Monument Records’ sister duo Tigirlily Gold has officially arrived at country radio this week with their debut single, “Shoot Tequila,” impacting yesterday (March 6). The single, which has already seen tremendous success with over 40 million views across social platforms, is the second-most-added single at country radio, tied with Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night.” Listen HERE.

With 48 stations playing the song on rotation, “Shoot Tequila” marks a triumphant radio debut for the girls from North Dakota who honed their craft grinding away on Nashville’s Lower Broadway for more than three years.

Written by the sisters alongside Better Than Ezra's Kevin Griffin and David Mescon, and produced by Pete Good and Shane McAnally, the upbeat party anthem is reminiscent of the push and pull of a toxic relationship, nodding to the irresistible temptation of caving to the “bad influence” of a tequila-induced night. The music video is available now, HERE.

“Shoot Tequila” is the first taste of new music from the duo as they embark on a new musical chapter with their upcoming project. Ready to bring girl group energy back to country music, stay tuned for more from Tigirlily Gold throughout 2023.
