Open Me for An Atreyu x Kayzo Collab

So Cal rock warriors Atreyu and EDM dynamo Kayzo have teamed up for a molten new track dubbed "Depression Season." It's not a remix.

We repeat — this is not a remix. It's a brand new track where two titans of their genres collide. The result is nothing short of spectacular.

Listen to the song and watch the visualizer

"Meeting and working with Kayzo was so effortless," the Atreyu singer Brandon Saller says. "Our first collaboration, 'Battle Drums,' then belonged to the world and did more organically than either camp had imagined. It only made sense for us to embark on Round 2. 'Depression Season' is completely a different and fresh take on what people might expect from an Atreyu and Kayzo mashup!"

"Round 2 with Atreyu was even more fun that the first time around," states Kayzo. "We all got back into the studio and spent a whole day recording drums bass guitar and vocals and brought it to life by combining that with DNB elements and depression season was born. I love working with these guys because they get it. They are willing to take risks outside of their comfort zones and I think that shows in our music together."

Catch Kayzo on tour in 2023 on his North America Tour — Kayzo Unleashed XL, which kicks off in February and extending through May 2023, including a brand new stage and production, special guests, and support — plus a brand new XL surprise.

Tickets are on sale now. Go HERE for more information.

Atreyu previously partnered with Sullivan King to remix their smash single "Baptize," which is the title track of their most recent album.

Atreyu are currently wrapping up their appearance on the third leg of the sold-out Trinity of Terror tour, featuring Motionless in White, Black Veil Brides, Ice Nine Kills.

ATREYU SHARE "BAPTIZE" REMIX BY SULLIVAN KING

So-Cal rock warriors Atreyu have partnered with Sullivan King to remix their smash single "Baptize," which is the title track off their latest album.

Check out the remix, on which Sullivan King truly put his own unique spin, here.

"When it comes to remixes, we're always aiming for someone to truly recreate the song," the band explains. "Sullivan King has such an energy to his music and his personal vibe. He was the perfect fit. This is a whole new 'Baptize.'"

It was a fitting collaboration, since Sullivan King is a producer, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who fuses dubstep and rock, creating his own space in the electronic and alternative scenes. Sullivan King’s unique live show finds the artist shredding on guitar, singing, DJing, and jumping into the pit. He has previously worked with Excision, Aaron Gillespie (Underoath), Papa Roach, Jason Aalon (Fever 333), Ice Nine Kills, Kayzo, and more.

Atreyu are currently on tour with Nothing More. All remaining dates are below.

VORAGOS: Destination Lunasea Beach has announced several exciting additions to the lineup for the private island festival and 5-day rock cruise coming in early 2022. The list of newly added acts includes the recently reunited Mudvayne (who continues to partner with Danny Wimmer Presents for their first live performances after a 12-year hiatus), Atreyu, Crown The Empire and Afterlife.

Mudvayne will play both on board and at Lunasea Beach and will replace Chevelle who regrettably have to cancel their VORAGOS Lunasea Beach appearance due to a conflict with their upcoming touring schedule. All other previously announced acts will be appearing, including Rob Zombie, Mastodon and more.

“I still can’t believe I’m saying…MUDVAYNE IS BACK,” says Chad Gray of Mudvayne. “It’s been a long time coming. We are very excited to get back on stage in front of all the OG Oxygen Wasters and the New Ones that have NEVER seen us! We’re looking forward to being on the maiden voyage of DWP’s VORAGOS cruise. Let’s Go!”

The anticipated rock festival vacation experience – which takes place February 16-21, 2022 aboard the amenity-packed Norwegian Pearl Ship and will be docking for one day in Belize for a one-of-a-kind private island beach festival – now has an official host with SiriusXM’s Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin coming on board to emcee the event and host various activities with fans and bands.

“I’m far beyond stoked to be hanging and partying with so many friends and family on VORAGOS, and getting to host it is even better,” comments Jose Mangin. “This destination cruise is going to be one for the record books for sure! A festival on the beach, and concerts on board, it’s so badass! I can’t wait to throw down hard with you and my Metal shipmates in Mudvayne, Mastodon, Atreyu, my AZ homies DED, Rob Zombie and so many others!”

VORAGOS will also include special appearances by SiriusXM’s Shannon Gunz and the cast of “That Space Zebra Show,” who will be participating in special fan experiences throughout the cruise. This fall, “That Space Zebra Show” will launch the “Battle For The Big Seas” showdown on the DWPresents Twitch channel, where unsigned bands will compete for the chance to perform on the inaugural voyage of VORAGOS. Look for more details about how to submit and enter the contest coming soon.

In addition, VORAGOS is excited to announce the first on ship experiences that fans can participate in. The first revealed theme night is “Party Like A Rockstar,” where cruisers can dress up like their favorite artist. Confirmed cruise activities include: Pool Deck Party with DWP CEO Danny Hayes, Rock n’ Roll Trivia hosted by Jose Mangin, Show Us Your INK Mixer, Flip Cup Tournament, Beer Pong Tournament and exclusive to VORAGOS Founders Club Members, a Daily Bourbon Tasting with DWPTeam Members. Many more theme nights, activities, meet & greets, as well as additional exclusive Founders Club events will be announced in the coming months.

Bands performing on board Norwegian Pearl (February 16, 17, 19 and 20) are as follows (subject to change): Mudvayne, Mastodon, Black Stone Cherry, Atreyu, Tremonti, Saint Asonia, Crown The Empire, Escape The Fate, New Years Day, Fire From The Gods, Bad Omens, Jeris Johnson, Tetrarch, DED, All Good Things, Joyous Wolf, Plush and Afterlife.

The Lunasea Beach Festival (February 18) — available exclusively to cruise guests (no separate tickets will be sold to the public) — will include an exclusive headlining set by Rob Zombie along with performances by Mudvayne, Black Stone Cherry, New Years Day, Tetrarch and Amigo The Devil.

Additionally, the ship will be home to the VORAGOS Storytellers Stage, featuring intimate performances from Amigo The Devil, Kevin Martin (of Candlebox), Brett Scallions Aupervant Fuel and Austin Meade, as well as the VORAGOS Comedy Stage with multiple sets from Jim Breuer, Big Jay Oakerson, Rachel Feinstein and Shayne Smith. Each night will also offer a Midnight After-Party starring Brass Against, The Voragos Shut Up & Dance and more.

Departing from Miami, VORAGOS will be the ultimate vacation of every rocker’s dreams, with more than 45 performances across 5 total stages, both on board and on the beach. Most bands will be playing multiple sets throughout the 5-day excursion as well as participating in additional activities.

Cabins are on sale now at www.Voragos.com with pricing starting at just $898 per person for a 4-guest interior room (plus taxes and fees). Guests are able to make a deposit and pay the remaining balance in monthly installments over time leading up to the event.

Atreyu will release their new album, the John Feldmann-produced Baptize, on June 4 via Spinefarm Records. Pre-order it here.

The band has just dropped another new track — this time in the form of "Catastrophe."

"'Catastrophe' is, in essence, an apocolyptic love song," the band reveals. "We took a more imaginative approach to the feelings about that we as individuals and the rest of the planet were going through. The world felt like it was falling apart around us. Nothing was certain, and stress and darkness were coming in from every angle. But living through it all with someone who you truly love somehow made it all okay."

Atreyu will be appearing at Blue Ridge and Aftershock festivals, with many more live dates being planned. Watch this space for more Atreyu live information.

BAND SHARES TWO NEW SONGS

LISTEN TO "WARRIOR" + "UNDERRATED"

Atreyu have announced their new album Baptize, out June 4 via Spinefarm Records. Pre-order it here.

"'Warrior' is song about persistence and never giving up," the band shares. "We hope this song can be the puzzle piece that helps people realize that we ALL have the capacity for greatness. Sometimes, greatness can exist in the shadows and lives buried under negativity, trauma, or anxiety. 'Warrior' is about searching through all of that endless darkness to finally find the sunrise."

Atreyu continues, "When we wrote 'Warrior,' the idea to do a big marching drum break came about. We wanted it to feel like a hometown football game. Travis Barker was the perfect person to bring this to life. It's cool to have him be a part of the song and to perform in a different light than what people may be used to."

About "Underrated," the band says, "We've always had to prove ourselves. We've never been handed anything nor have we taken any shortcuts. It's never been 'the easy way.' Over two decades later, we're still making our mark."

Music video by Atreyu performing Save Us. A Spinefarm Records Recording; © 2020 Universal Music Operations Limited http://vevo.ly/NNn2bm

OC metalcore mainstays ATREYU have shared the video for the new song "Save Us," which was produced by John Feldmann.

"'Save Us' is not only a reflection of where we are musically, but also a mirror to the world in this ominous moment in time," the band says. "We chose to pair the powerful message with one of the heavier songs we've ever written. This song feels like the anthem that we all need right now. To us, it's a call to action to light the fire in ourselves. We can begin to make great change — but only if we look inside first."

With singer Alex Varkatzas recently departing, drummer and clean vocalist Brandon Saller will move into the frontman role. Guitarist Porter McKnight is now handling the harsh vocals, while Kyle Rosa joins the ranks as drummer.

Atreyu are working on their eighth album, which will be released via Spinefarm Records. "Save Us" will appear on the record.

ATREYU RELEASE "SUPER HERO" VIDEO FEATURING AVENGED SEVENFOLD'S M. SHADOWS + UNDEROATH'S AARON GILLESPIE — WATCH

Atreyu have shared the video for "Super Hero" from their 2018-released album In Our Wake. The track features appearances from Avenged Sevenfold frontman M.Shadows and Underoath drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie.

"Our song 'Super Hero' was written about what it's like to be a parent and the vast amount of time, effort, energy, and hard work it takes to be a real-life superhero for your children," the band says. "The song also has a broader meaning, especially given the current situation the entire world is dealing with. There are many superheroes out there who appear in many forms — namely the first responders, medical personnel, and health care workers who are putting others first as they work to fight COVID-19 and to save lives. We dedicate this song to them."

Atreyu are working on their eighth album, due out via Spinefarm Records later this year.
