AMARANTHE, release today a cover version of 'Fading Like A Flower' from Swedish pop rock legends ROXETTE. Re-visioning a classic song in their own forward-thinking synth-driven, metallic melody, AMARANTHE demonstrates their ability to inject new life into a classic song.

The band comments: “Being born and raised in Sweden meant that you are subjected to an absolute onslaught of ultra-catchy music, starting with ABBA all the way up to the present day, with some of the world’s greatest songwriters and producers hailing from here. One of the most successful acts to ever come out of Sweden is Roxette, and if you were young in the 80’s/90’s, their music was EVERYWHERE. To do a tribute to 1991’s “Fading Like A Flower” is something we half-jokingly talked about during a few years, and when the opportunity arose during “The Catalyst” recordings we jumped at it. Roxette’s melodies and arrangements fit Amaranthe like a hand-tailored glove, and we’re now really excited to share this cover with you all!”

Swedish six-piece AMARANTHE announced the release of their upcoming album The Catalyst live on stage after their bedazzling performance last week on Wacken’s main stage. The Catalyst will see the light of day on February 23rd, 2024, via Nuclear BlastRecords.

Today, the band announced they will be heading across North America this Fall as direct support for GRAMMY-nominated power metal legends, DRAGONFORCE. The 24-date trek will embark on October 20th in Mesa, Arizona and will make stops in Atlanta, Montreal, and Chicago before concluding in Los Angeles on November 19th! Opening each night will be NANOWAR OF STEEL and EDGE OF PARADISE.

This song surely gave the one or another listener goosebumps when being performed on one of AMARANTHE's breathtaking live shows, and now a transition of the feelings has been created by releasing a remarkable music video for "Crystalline".

The majestic interplay of orchestral arrangements and in turn distorted guitars is visually underlined in the new stunning music video and not least by the vocal performance between Elize Ryd and Nils Molin.

By releasing this music video AMARANTHE is taking the anthem to a new level which lets the song resurrect, supported by the passion and the emotions which can now also be transferred visually.

AMARANTHE comment on the new video:
"'Crystalline' was a song born from pure emotions in the moment, and we felt that it truly deserved its own spotlight as a single together with a video. Shot at Rydzyna, a 17th-century Château outside of Wrocław, Poland, long-time collaborators Grupa13 once again worked their visual magic for the video. We hope you will love the result just as much as we do!"

As if that wasn't enough, the song celebrates a rebirth - and is now released as "Crystalline (Orchestral Version)" which differs not only in sound but also in the emotions and harmonies carried by the orchestral elements can be truly felt. The newly arranged orchestral version is released along with the original version of the song since the original version can be heard in the new music video.

The majestic live album/DVD/BluRay, recorded at the legendary 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands, consists of twenty-one songs that will tug on your heartstrings, make you want to bang your head and give you a taste of KAMELOT’s grandness live on stage with more than 100 minutes of live music and multiple exclusive extras, including backstage interviews of all guests, bandmembers and fans. 

Today, KAMELOT have released the live video of their performance of “Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife)” – featuring Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) – taken from the Silverthorn album (2012), which marked one of the many highlights of this night to remember for all attending fans and musicians. The hit single starts off with adventurous first notes and ominous vocal lines, evoking the palpable, non-stop energy to come. This auditory epic soars to new heights in its live incarnation.
