616 Release Music Video for "Cinderella Valentine" via Cleopatra Records

Rock band 616, led by frontman Matthew Lidwin, has just released a powerful new music video for their latest single, “Cinderella Valentine,” filmed live at the iconic Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee—the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll.

The “Cinderella Valentine” video captures the raw energy and vulnerability of a live performance with zero digital polish—just pure analog soul. Shot in the same room where rock was born, the visual immerses fans in a sound that feels both timeless and fresh, blending the grit of classic rock with the haunting romanticism that 616 is known for.

From the age of 14, Matthew Lidwin—the driving force behind 616—has always had a relentless “go get it” attitude. Now 33, he’s taken that energy and built a global fanbase with seven songs hitting #1 on various charts. Ministry Releases First-Ever Music Video For “Everyday Is Halloween”: From “The Squirrely Years Revisited” Album, Out Now Via Cleopatra Records;

For the first time ever, Ministry has an official music video for the eternal hit, “Everyday is Halloween.” Originally released in 1984, Al Jourgensen’s rally cry for the goth community and misunderstood creatures of the night has remained a cult classic over the decades and is finally being given the visual treatment it deserves.

“Everyday is Halloween” is one of the cuts on the forthcoming album, The Squirrely Years Revisited, out now via Cleopatra Records that sees Jourgensen making peace with the past. ABOUT MINISTRY

Born in 1981 in Chicago, Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, Ministry was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the ‘80s. Ministry’s output began with four 12” singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP With Sympathy in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed however, so did Ministry, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums Twitch (1986), The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989). With the release of Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs (1992), Ministry hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, Ministry has been nominated for a Grammy award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with AmeriKKKant, continuing to reflect Jourgensen’s views on the frightening state of society and politics. The 2021 album Moral Hygiene marked a new creative era of Jourgensen and the band. Ministry’s 16th studio album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, was released March 1, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Fear of Water is the brainchild of Dave Perry, a multi-talented artist based in Austin, Texas. After the incredible reception to Ministry’s With Sympathy and Twitch-heavy set at Cruel World 2024, Jourgensen decided it was time to reexamine his long-dormant synth pop hits and give them a fresh polish 40 years later. The result is the forthcoming album, The Squirrely Years Revisited, out March 28 via Cleopatra Records.

Featuring 9 tracks (3 additional bonus tracks on CD), the album offers reworked versions of cult classic hits like “Everyday Is Halloween,” “Work For Love,” “I’m Not An Effigy,” and “I’ll Do Anything For You.” New music videos will soon be released for several tracks as well.

In the dynamic world of 616, Matthew Lidwin stands as a Singer/Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire. “Drum City,” the new video from Legendary drummer-songwriter-producer Carmine Appice and acclaimed LA session musician Fernando Perdomo from their powerful new album, Running Up That Hill, has been released by Cleopatra Records, the band’s label. Featuring infectious guitar riffs and a colorful animated visual backdrop, the video for “Drum City,” wowed the audience at the group’s New York City show where it was previewed at The Cutting Room.

The duo’s sophomore album again focuses on the art of instrumental rock gems, performed mostly just by Fernando Perdomo and Carmine Appice. The two musicians worked on opposite coasts of the US via a remote online recording process to complete the album. The two musicians played nearly all the instruments on the entire album with the exception of a few tracks which also featured an all star cast of guest musicians, among them: bassist Billy Sheehan, keyboardist Derek Sherinian, guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, bassist Tony Franklin and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Haslip.

“Like our first album, Energy Overload, much of this album was conceived, written and recorded on opposite sides of the USA, while everyone was still dealing with the impact of the Covid 19 epidemic,” says Carmine Appice, about the record. “Fernando and I would just bounce ideas back and forth amongst each other, and before we knew it, we had this album filled with some of the best material either of us have ever been involved with. Many critics and radio professionals have told us this record is very different and very special, and we feel the same. Now, we want the world to discover it.”

Adds Fernando Perdomo: "I couldn't be more excited about the ‘Drum City’ music video. Collaborating with Carmine has been so much fun and this song is pure joy. The band did an East Coast and West Coast showcase, which were incredible. We cannot wait to play more!"

"Carmine Appice's drumming prowess is a symphony of rhythm, where beats become an intricate tapestry combined with the talent and precision of Fernando Perdomo,” says Cleopatra Records President Brian Perera. “Together, they make this a very special & unique project."

Emerging in 1967 as a founding member, drummer and vocalist for the iconic psychedelic rockers, Vanilla Fudge, it was a matter of months before Appice was recognized as one of greatest drummers of all time. After Top 5 hits, and sold out worldwide tours, the Fudge broke up. In 1970, Appice (along with Fudge bassist Tim Bogert) returned with Cactus, which one critic called “America’s answer to Led Zeppelin.” From Cactus onward, the sky was the limit for Appice, forming Beck Bogert & Appice (with Jeff Beck); and long stints with Ozzy Osbourne and Rod Stewart (who had Appice co-write some of his biggest hits). Today, he balances life in the studio and on the road with both Vanilla Fudge and Cactus again, and now, The Appice Perdomo Project.

Perdomo, whose family emigrated to the US from Cuba after Fidel Castro took power, used American rock and pop radio to get him through the difficult years of assimilation. “Music was my sanctuary,” says Perdomo. “My older brother turned me on to much of the music which I still hold dear to my heart today.” Eventually he became a studio session player in demand, first in Miami and then in his new home of Los Angeles. His credits include playing with Eric Clapton, Fiona Apple, Nora Jones, and Beck. In 2019, he was hired as musical director and guitarist for the band featured in the film ECHO IN THE CANYON, which told the story and paid tribute to the Southern California music scene that began in the late 1960s. He has produced dozens of records for a myriad of labels, including a recent single featuring Todd Rundgren.

The new album’s first video, “Running Up That Hill,” is a bombastic re-make of the 1980s classic Kate Bush song that recently found its way back on the charts when it was featured on the TV show, Stranger Things. Because it was released as a rock instrumental, the Appice Perdomo take on that song has taken on a life of its own.

Black Heart Saints, consisting of Josh Ross (Vocals), Mark Sean (Guitar), Nathan Flores(Drums), and Ian C.G. (Bass), announces the release of their new single "Human Xstacy" in association with legendary label Cleopatra Records. Slated for release on January 20, 2023, the song was produced by Geno Lenardo (FILTER, DEVICE) and mixed/mastered by Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns 'N Roses, Sons of Apollo, Asia).

Setting the stage for commercial success early in the band’s career, on April 12, 2018, Austin City Council and Mayor Steve Adler officially proclaimed April 12th to be “Black Heart Saints Day.”The following year, the band was awarded #1 Best Rock/Metal Act at the prestigious Austin Music Awards, being recognized alongside other local luminaries such as Willie Nelson and Black Pumas. In 2019, their first full-length release ALIVE, drew acclaim from fans and critics alike and led to the now famous “Road to Sturgis Tour.” Putting Black Heart Saints’ charismatic live performance to the test, the band took the stage at the world-renowned motorcycle rally, attended by over 500,000 bikers from all around the globe, and the group earned the respect and devotion of a whole new audience base. KINGS OF THRASH ANNOUNCE FIRST LEG OF 2023 TOUR

LIVE CD/DVD RELEASING MARCH 24

Following their four warm-up dates in October, KINGS OF THRASH, featuring David Ellefson and Jeff Young, today announce the first leg of a planned 2023 world tour commencing February 16 in Joliet, Illinois. The THRASHIN' USA tour will cross the Midwest, East Coast, and southeastern part of the USA through March 15. As with the band's 2022 warm-up shows, the group will be performing the Killing Is My Business…and Business Is Good and So Far, So Good…So What albums in their entirety. KINGS OF THRASH also feature Chaz Leon on vocals and guitar and Fred Aching on drums.

Support on all shows will be provided by Hatriot.

VIP packages will be available on all shows at this location.

The band has also signed a worldwide deal with Cleopatra Records and will be releasing a live CD/DVD package called Best of the West…Live at the Whisky A Go Go on March 24. The 17-song set was recorded and filmed live at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA on October 15, 2022 and also features performances with Chris Poland. The DVD was directed by Michael Sarna for Inmotion Entertainment.

Las Vegas-based horror rockers Vampires Everywhere have today released their long-awaited EP, 'The Awakening' (out via Cleopatra Records). In celebration of the new EP, the band has also dropped the music video for their interpretation of The Weeknd's hit single "The Hills". Leading up to release day, Vampires Everywhere have shared tracks "WITCH", resurrecting the band from a 5-year hiatus, and most recently "Death Of Me". Not only that, but the band kicks off their US tour today and has also announced that their fans across the pond will have the opportunity to see them in London in April 2022. Speaking on today's news, frontman Michael Vampire comments:

"It's absolutely insane to me that I'm releasing another piece of work under the Vampires Everywhere moniker! It's such an amazing feeling bringing this band back full circle and bringing it back strong. The idea of ending the hiatus dawned on me about a year ago. It's been such a mindfuck putting all the pieces back together and for all intents and purposes, starting from scratch. The music industry is a fickle entity that must be approached with intensity and extreme vigilance, which I think we approached this comeback with all of those elements. It's with great happiness that we release "The Awakening", which I feel is a fresh but nostalgic body of work that represents VE 3.0. Self-produced by me and Craig Pirtle, this EP is personal and not dated! We wanted an album that would pull at the heartstrings of the new wave of rock but still pledge its undying loyalty to the VE fans that helped shape the band over the last 11 years. I think Matt Good did a great job mixing it! He fit us in right before he started recording Asking Alexandria. Big thanks to Matt for making that happen.

I am a giant The Weeknd fan! I've been captivated by this artist for quite some time and I knew I would eventually cover one of his songs. I think "The Hills" was a perfect choice for my voice. The lyrics really speak to me. We wanted to maintain the beauty of the original song but also bring heavy vibes to it. I believe we absolutely did this song justice and hope The Weeknd ends up hearing it! I recruited Randy Edwards, who did our last 4 music videos to come out to Los Angeles and bring my vision to life. I didn't want a storyline for this particular video and wanted the performance to speak for itself. Unfortunately, we shot in a warehouse space that was 100 degrees the whole time, but we still managed to kick some ass and bring this video to life!

It's been 6 years since we hit the road with Filter and Orgy. I thought that would be our last voyage into the abyss, however, it was only the beginning it seems. I couldn't be happier heading out with Vampires Everywhere! I believe I have an amazing lineup of artists that truly understand my vision... We are about to head out on a 30 day run taking us through the entire United States! Stoked to be doing that with our friends in Assuming We Survive, The Bunny The Bear, and Fate Destroyed. I am also beyond excited to announce Vampires Everywhere is finally heading overseas to the United Kingdom to play The Underworld in London! It’s been 11 years in the making and I feel the timing is perfect. Tickets are on sale now!"

Vampires Everywhere were conceptualized in early 2010 by Michael Orlando later known as Michael Vampire. The band started its journey in Hollywood, CA-based on the idea of bringing a fresh feel to an already saturated metalcore market. Michael has been obsessed with the 1987 cult classic film "The Lost Boys" since age 13 and wanted to start a band around his love for the movie and his passion for rock music. The band quickly gained notoriety in 2010 with their debut music video for "Immortal Love" which hit half a million views and landed on the iconic MTV Headbangers Ball. A few months later VE was signed to Century Media Records and toured with Black Veil Brides on the Hot Topic Tour around the United States. The band also landed an opening spot for X Japan's first North American run playing for over 5,000 people a night and to this day is the only band to open for X Japan in the US. After an amazing run on the 2012 Warped Tour, the band was asked by Kevin Lyman to headline Rob Zombie's Great Adventure in Pomona, CA. Vampires Everywhere have since toured with the likes of Motionless In White, AIDEN, Alesana, Orgy, Filter, Falling In Reverse, and countless others. Filmed inside a cryptic church and featuring blood-filled vignettes and haunting invocations, the video is a bold art piece that showcases LUNA 13’s strong stance on the ills of religious control.

As frontwoman Lilith Bathory told Metal Injection, “’Hear My Call’ begins with Lilith calling Lucifer, to stand with her against the rampant atrocities carried out by religion and those who use their faith to control, oppress or kill. It asks everyone to open their eyes to how these corrupt systems, and how they are used, end up killing us all.”

“Hear My Call” is the new single from the dark lord duo’s brand-new album Gorgo also released today on Cleopatra Records featuring nine tempting new tracks (including a cover of Lil Nas X hit “Montero”) that further LUNA 13’s reputation as one of the most attention-grabbing metal acts to hit the scene.

It follows last November’s lauded release for album God.Dis that thematically covered the grounds of witchcraft, nuclear war and modern conspiracy theories and a release that Sonic Perspectivesdeemed “feels both simultaneously ethereal and omnipresent.”
