A.A. WILLIAMS Releases New Single “Just A Shadow” and Announces Signing to Reigning Phoenix Music

Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM) proudly announces the signing of acclaimed singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist A.A. WILLIAMS, whose work blends haunting melody with a distinctly heavy edge. This marks a powerful new chapter in the artist’s evolution. To inaugurate the partnership, WILLIAMS unveils her new single “Just A Shadow”, a work of stark intimacy and emotional gravity. The new single appears alongside a striking animated video by Costin Chioreanu, which can be viewed Below.

“Just A Shadow” descends into the quiet ache between light and dark, where WILLIAMS’ evocative voice becomes both a confession and a companion. It is an elegy for the self you cannot escape, a meditation on the beauty and terror of one’s own reflection. Rather than banishing the darkness, WILLIAMS meets it with open eyes in an act of understanding, an embrace of what shapes us, scars us, and ultimately helps define us.

In WILLIAMS’ own words: “‘Just A Shadow’ is an ode to the darkness inside. A part of you since you can remember, a cruel friend lurking just outside of view. A presence that you’ve accepted, its familiarity brings cold comfort. You’ve tried to resist it and step into the light, but you’re scared that you’re nothing without the dark.”

RPM co-founder Gerardo Martinez celebrates both the new release and the label’s partnership with WILLIAMS: “A.A. WILLIAMS is one of the most compelling voices in contemporary music. She is unafraid to explore vulnerability with a rare poetic depth. We’re honored to welcome her to the RPM family, and ‘Just A Shadow’ is a stunning introduction to what we’ll build together.”

“Just a Shadow” lands before her highly anticipated 2026 UK and EU tour. The tour kicks off on January 27 in Norwich and continues across the UK and Europe through March 7. Tickets are available HERE

About A.A. WILLIAMS:

Having made her debut live appearance at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands off the back of a self-titled EP, A.A. WILLIAMS has since toured across the globe with the likes of CULT OF LUNA, EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, SLEEP TOKEN and THE SISTERS OF MERCY, as well as establishing herself as a headline artist - including a show at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall inside London’s Southbank Centre.

Standout festival appearances have dovetailed with two album releases - 2020’s Forever Blue and 2022’s As The Moon Rests, which both received widespread critical acclaim and put A.A. WILLIAMS firmly in the slipstream of the wave of female vocalists taking textured, epic and folk-rooted heavy music into new and progressive directions. A BBC session at the legendary Maida Vale Studios only bolstered WILLIAMS’ credentials.

Not one to rest on her laurels, she has also released a selection of ‘companion pieces’ - a collaborative single with Japanese post-rock titans MONO (“Exit In Darkness”); a solo covers collection recorded during 2020’s pandemic lockdown — Songs From Isolation — that garnered praise from THE CURE’s Robert Smith and SMASHING PUMPKINS' Billy Corgan for her unique take on their original songs; and perhaps most impressively, 2021’s arco saw the multi-instrumentalist completely rework her debut EP from rock instrumentation to a string ensemble, utilising her classical training and arrangement skills to stunning effect.

With new label partner Reigning Phoenix Music, 2026 will serve as a major milestone for A.A. WILLIAMS.

CARRION VAEL Premieres New Single “1912,” Inspired by the Villisca Axe Murders

Richmond, Indiana’s technical melodic death metal powerhouse CARRION VAEL returns with a vengeance with the release of their haunting new single “1912,” a fresh glimpse into their fifth studio album, Slay Utterly, arriving January 16, 2026 through Unique Leader Records.

Recorded across three sessions at The Armory Studios with engineers Jack Daniels and Elisha Mullins and mastered by Jeff Dunne, Slay Utterly is a concept-driven exploration of infamous murderers, slashers, and violent historical figures. Each track delivers a vivid depiction of humanity’s darkest corners through CARRION VAEL’s blend of technical precision, melodic intensity, and razor-edged aggression.

“1912” stands among the band’s most stylistically expansive works to date. Nearly theatrical in its opening moments, the song broadens and intensifies as it progresses, guiding the listener through shifting moods and escalating tension. The band notes that this track is “the most vast when it comes to styles” and was crafted to make the listener feel every stage of its growth.

Lyrically, “1912” centers on the still-unsolved Villisca axe murders, which shook the small town of Villisca, Iowa on a sweltering June night in 1912. Two adults and six children were brutally killed as they slept. The assailant moved silently through the home, leaving no survivors and vanishing without a trace. More than a century later, the case remains open to speculation, and the song explores several of the most discussed theories, from roving train-hopping sociopaths to disgruntled business associates to evangelical madmen. The truth remains unknown.

With “1912,” CARRION VAEL transforms one of America’s most chilling mysteries into a dynamic and emotionally charged melodic death metal narrative, setting the tone for the scope and ambition of Slay Utterly.

About CARRION VALE:
In 2017, brutal melodic death metal storytellers CARRION VAEL set out on a mission to understand disturbing events that may baffle the sane. Each album and each song explores an aspect of true crime history, often focusing on the stories of individual serial killers and their victims. Though this conceptual focus underpins CARRION VAEL's songwriting, they seek to fully utilize all of their skills and talents to ensure that each song develops the sound it needs to tell its story. The band released their first album, Resurrection of the Doomed, independently in 2017, then signed with HPGD Records and released their 2020 follow-up, God Killer. Subsequently, the band signed with Unique Leader Records and released Abhorrent Obsessions (2022) and Cannibals Anonymous (2024).

With their fifth album, Slay Utterly, on the horizon, CARRION VAEL are set to continue this journey into the monstrous side of the human psyche. Vicious, but surprisingly poignant in just the right dose, Slay Utterly presents an anthology of serial killer stories from significant points in history. The album is certain to enthrall fans of horror, history, and true crime with its vivid portrayals of the minds of both murderers and victims.

Alex Arford - Bass

Theodor Bastard Return with New Single “Nebo”

For three decades, Theodor Bastard have bridged the traditions of the old world with the new. Now, five years removed from their last full-length journey, the Karelian pioneers of electro-folk are beginning a new venture that reconnects with their earliest roots.

Today, Theodor Bastard are releasing their first single in five years. While written specifically for the award-winning Russian crime drama The Method, “Nebo” offers an initial glimpse at the band’s upcoming ninth studio album. Yana Veva’s vocals continue to twirl with the fragility of snow, but the way the song’s beat rolls like smog recalls their early electronic experiments with World Music.

“We leaned on analog synthesizers, most notably the Soviet-era Polivoks and modern Arturia MiniBrute”, says Theodor Bastard’s founding member Fedor Svolotch. “Our recent albums have focused more on acoustic and ethnically-inflected textures. Returning to analog gear felt like coming home to a language we missed”.

RED SANDS Unleash “The Hunt”

Independent melodic metal band RED SANDS announces the release of their new single “The Hunt,”. The track appears on the band’s highly anticipated EP Evocations, set for worldwide release on January 30, 2026.

“The Hunt” serves as an energetic and subconscious tribute to one of RED SANDS’ favorite metal acts, Iced Earth. Written by Eric Novelo (bass), with arrangements and lyrics by Daniel Novelo, the song blends galloping riffs, urgent pacing, and a sharp melodic edge. Although it is the most traditional track on the EP, it stands out as one of the most vibrant due to its direct songwriting and fast, unrelenting momentum.

Lyrically, “The Hunt” immerses listeners in the brutality and fervor of medieval warfare. While its themes resonate with nearly any era of armed conflict, the song draws particular inspiration from the Battle of Hattin in 1187, where Saladin’s forces defeated the Crusaders and reclaimed Jerusalem. Arabesque guitar solos, atmospheric backing vocals, and intricate sound effects depicting clashing swords and firing trebuchets create a vivid, cinematic portrayal of chaos on the battlefield.

Evocations features six tracks that explore themes of mortality, memory, and transformation. From the ominous opening “Mors Vincit Omnia” to the commanding presence of “The Coven,” the aggression of “The Hunt,” and the introspective melancholy of “My Beloved Ghost,” the EP traces a cycle of creation and decay. At its center is “System,” a new song that confronts modern corruption with sharp lyrical intent and complex musicianship. The artwork, created by vocalist and visual artist Jonathan Corral, reflects the record’s themes through surreal imagery featuring a being made from memories and relics carrying a dying bird on a blank musical score, symbolizing both unfinished creation and impermanence.

RED SANDS is:

  • Jonathan “Jona” Corral – Vocals

  • Daniel Novelo – Rhythm & Lead Guitar

  • Eric Novelo – Bass

  • Juan Carlos “CJ” León – Piano & Keyboards

  • Ángel Asiain – Drums

NJ Native + Former HxCx Concert Promoter Heath Miller Resurrects Fyre Festival + Supports Honduran Tourism

PHNX rising from the ashes of the doomed FYRE FESTIVAL is a story you never expected.

Heath Miller, one of the key behind-the-scenes forces who helped turn the 2025 Fyre Festival in Honduras into a fully executed, wildly talked-about cultural moment — and, in his words, "the most epic, never done before, tourism marketing campaign ever" — is a former New Jersey hard rock concert promoter and VP and talent buyer at NYC's famed Webster Hall, where he booked everyone from Metallica to Nine Inch Nails. He is also known for booking some of My Chemical Romance's first-ever shows.

If anyone has the know-how (and, well, the cajones) to reboot FYRE, it's Miller.

While the world is buzzing about the festival's improbable comeback, what's still untold is how it actually happened — and how a remote island like Utila became the unlikely center of global attention. It's that story that can only be told by Heath Miller.

Miller can discuss the production blueprint that brought Fyre Festival to Utila and made it work — the logistics, the innovation, and the "quiet genius" puzzle-pieces put in place long before the headline moment, as well as The Coral View Beach Resort connection — how the festival became a spotlight moment for the resort, and why he sees it as the catalyst for a new era of tourism on Utila.

He can also address the French Montana plane incident and how he and Billy coordinated the solution that ensured talent was able to get where they needed to go, turning a potential fiasco into a power move for the island's visibility.

While many non-believers and naysayers have questioned the success of the event, Miller and his wife have also been the target of harassment via his social media accounts.

But he remains undeterred.

Ultimately, though, Miller has a bigger mission: Using the global attention to push forward a long-needed conversation about Utila's airport infrastructure — whether through government momentum or private investment — to make the island safer, more accessible, and better equipped for future headline-driving events.

Are you ready for the real, full-fledged Fyre Festival story — the one that didn't collapse, but instead re-ignited an entire destination?

Heath Miller is available for press opportunities.

ABOUT HEATH MILLER:
Heath Miller’s career has been primarily in the music industry as a concert promoter and event producer.  Over the course of his career, he has produced thousands of concerts and events in the tri-state area, under Excess dB Entertainment, Metropolitan Talent, and various venues he worked in-house. Venues he has booked and produced concerts and events include Webster Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Beacon Theater, Hammerstein Ballroom, United Palace and many others.

As Vice President of Concerts at Webster Hall in New York City, Heath was responsible for developing their in-house concert department, along with overseeing and booking the venue's concerts. During his time at Webster Hall, he impressively increased Webster Hall's ranking from #11 to #2 for club-sized venues worldwide ticket sales, guiding them to winning Nightclub of the Year at the 2017 Pollstar Awards.  Heath has been active in the consulting space, consulting for music technology companies such as Bandsintown, 23/7 Global, and BlockParty.

In addition to concert booking and promotion, Heath's diverse experience includes over 10 years of non-profit work with Safe Horizon on their Leadership Council and The James Beard Foundation on their Young Professionals Committee. He has consistently been one of the top donation generations for both committees.

Heath has leveraged his non-profit experience along with his marketing and logistics experience from the event industry to form Support Utila.

THE ETERNAL unleash first video single “It All Ends” from new EP “Celestial”

Australian-Finnish dark progressive gothic metal collective THE ETERNAL have announced their upcoming EP Celestial, set for release on January 16, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music, and have dropped the first video single, "It All Ends".

Pre-save / pre-order the EP, available on all major digital platforms and as an extremely limited-edition eco-friendly recycled vinyl:https://theeternal.rpm.link/celestialPR

"It All Ends" marks the first preview of Celestial and sets the tone with a powerful mix of haunting atmosphere, melancholic weight, and progressive finesse. The track unfolds slowly and deliberately, pulling the listener into its storm of brooding riffs, somber melodies, and an emotional vocal performance that feels both intimate and colossal. The song’s dynamics build toward a towering, epic finale that showcases the band’s cinematic approach to heavy music.

Stream/Download the single: https://theeternal.rpm.link/itallendsPR

Watch the video clip Below;

Lyrically, "It All Ends" cuts deep. Vocalist and guitarist Mark Kelson, who also designed & edited the video, explains:

"The lyrics of “It All Ends” convey a stark meditation on betrayal, disillusionment, and the collapse of trust. Through the recurring imagery of “empty words” and “broken shards,” the song captures the futility of promises that have lost their meaning and the devastation left in their wake. The repetition of the phrase “it all ends” underscores the inevitability and finality of this unraveling, while the storm imagery reflects the emotional turbulence beneath the surface. At its core, the song portrays the painful recognition that fractured communication and faithlessness lead to irreversible endings, leaving behind a lingering sense of loss that feels both suffocating and inescapable."

With Mark Kelson (vocals/guitars) and Richie Poate (guitars) in Melbourne, joined by Jan Rechberger (drums, Amorphis) and Niclas Etelävuori (bass, ex‑Amorphis/Flat Earth) in Helsinki, THE ETERNAL are proving themselves a genuinely international collaboration and with the forthcoming EP, fans and first-time listeners alike get a first taste of the band’s signature intensity and powerful new material.

Mark Kelson / Guitar & Vocals
Richie Poate / Guitar
Niclas Etelävuori / Bass

Charlie Nieland's 'Stories From the Borderlines' is the Year's Most Unsettlingly Glamorous Album - a darkly essential NYC rock statement

Renowned NYC songwriter-producer Charlie Nieland presents 'Stories From The Borderlines', a dazzling and deeply personal album that explores themes of connection and severance. This is one of the most profound albums from Nieland, known of his work producing and writing for such artists as Debbie Harry, Rufus Wainwright, Blondie and Scissor Sisters

More than music, the meticulously crafted songs on this album—a geography of intention—are an act of imaginative resistance, passionately mining for light and truth in a darkening world.  Shaped by a reverence for pioneering '80s and '90s synth and guitar-driven music, these cinematic soundscapes and poignant songs involve drummer Billy Loose, Staten Island rapper spiritchildguitarist Dan McAssey and Joe McGinty(The Psychedelic Furs, Ryan Adams, Nada Surf, The Loser's Lounge).

"This set of songs is a kaleidoscope of styles. They are luminous secret rooms that reflect one human’s heart in a world at the precipice. Staying creative is resistance. As authoritarians attack culture, they make the mistake that imagination can be controlled when it actually emerges from the bottom up. Culture is not imaginary. It’s is rooted in imagination but it’s more real than what can be measured," says Charlie Nieland.

"These songs tell stories of growing up, of how we got severed, and how we connect. I burrowed into each idea over several years that were filled with love, uncertainty and family drama. The time allowed me to create and explore sound worlds with a cinematic eye; finding contrasts in texture and time. To create an experience that shifts with each listen. These songs are a geography of intention and intuition, mining for light in a dark world. Let’s find the switch."

Nieland also presents 'Shame' with a firecracker video, directed and edited by multi-faceted NYC-based artist Hypnodoll, and filmed by Alice Teeple. Fueled by the obsessive lust and repulsion that has been weaponized against the queer community, this song explores how fascination runs like blood from all sides, our own self-loathing driving us into the unknown.

Previewed the epic lead track 'Win' feat. spiritchild and 'The Ocean Understands' EP, this new album presents a visceral blend of post punk, glam, dream pop and progressive rock. With sweeping melodies and restless rhythms, these unique soundscapes deliver an immersive journey, showcasing Nieland's continued evolution as an artist and producer.

Nieland's backstory is extensive, having written, performed and produced music for decades. He was awarded a Gold record (UK) for his production work on Blondie's 'Greatest Hits Sight & Sound' and achieved a Top 10 Billboard Dance Chart Position with Debbie Harry's single 'Two Times Blue', which he co-wrote and produced. Hehas scored the feature film 'The Safety of Objects' (with Glenn Close), Showtime's pilot episode of 'The L Word' and the VH-1documentary 'NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell'.

An artist rich on nuanced songwriting and sonic exploration, he released the album 'Ice Age' (2014), followed by 'Hopeful Monsters' (2016) and ‘Divisions' (2021). After 20 years with Her Vanished Grace, he is half of the literature-inspired duo Lusterlit with Susan Hwang, and both produces and co-hosts the podcast 'An Embarrassment of Prog'.

'Stories From The Borderlines' is out now, available everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp.  Nieland returns in January with his next audio-visual offering.

Singer/Songwriter Leah Blevins Warns "Be Careful Throwing Stones" on New Track

On the heels of releasing her first taste of new music with “All Dressed Up,” the title track from her Dan Auerbach-produced album, singer/songwriter Leah Blevins releases her powerful new single “Be Careful Throwing Stones” today.

Written with Auerbach and Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves, Leon Bridges), “Be Careful Throwing Stones” continues to showcase Blevins’ piercing vocal clarity, storytelling and unflinching emotional honesty with a dash of ‘70s retro glamour and sheen.

The new track follows the recent release of “All Dressed Up,” named a “hot new track” by Barnburner, and marks the latest glimpse into the sonic landscape of her upcoming album. A timeless blend of Southern rock earthiness and pop-country shimmer, anchored by a twangy Karen Carpenter-esque vocal purity, listen to “Be Careful Throwing Stones” HERE

Pre-save All Dressed Up, set for release March 20, 2026, HERE.

In addition to the song’s release, the official music video for “Be Careful Throwing Stones” premiered today exclusively with Holler, offering fans a visual interpretation of the track. Watch the video below;

“This song is about protecting the softest parts of yourself,” says Blevins. “Dan, Daniel and I were writing from that place where hope meets caution. It’s a reminder to move gently through love – with others and with yourself.”

“Be Careful Throwing Stones” expands on the fresh yet nostalgic sound Blevins introduced with “All Dressed Up,”pairing emotional intelligence and heartache with quiet strength. Raised on the bluegrass-stained Kentucky country of Loretta Lynn, Patty Loveless, Dwight Yoakam and fellow Sandy Hook native Keith Whitley, Blevins continues a lineage of storytellers who understand the power of plainspoken truth.

“There are all kinds of emotions in this world,” Blevins says. “The best songs hold a few of them at once. Dan gets that. He knows how to let a feeling stretch out and take up space.”

“Be Careful Throwing Stones” also continues Blevins’ penchant for crafting songs and visuals that feel outside of time. Her work echoes the greats of the ‘60s and ‘90s while standing firmly in the present, resulting in a sound that will resonate just as deeply 30 years from now.

“Be Careful Throwing Stones” and the official video are available everywhere today.

Kenny Takes HEART LIFE MUSIC to Springsteen Archives

When Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music Director of Curatorial Affairs and Director of Public History Melissa Ziobro posted a congratulatory note about Kenny Chesney’s Heart Life Music debuting at No. 1 on the New York Times’ Hardcover Nonfiction and Combined Print and E-Book Nonfiction best sellers lists, she shot her shot, closing her blog post with an invitation cast into the vast unknown for Chesney to be part of the Springsteen Center’s author-driven podcast.

Be careful what you wish for – or Santa might come a little early. Word of the post made it back to the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar, who was scheduled to be in New York for his first appearance on Howard Stern’s wildly popular SiriusXM show. Chesney reasoned, “With as much as Bruce Springsteen runs throughout the story of my life – something I didn’t actually realize until I sat down and began work on Heart Life Music – this request from out of nowhere seemed like something I needed to do.”

And so, the morning after two hours on Howard Stern and a New York City book event at the Kaufman Music Center, Chesney and his book tour team headed to Monmouth University, minutes from the Jersey Shore, to tape a special edition of their “Conversations with Our Curator” series. With the actual Center in the final stages of construction for their late spring 2026 opening, the recent Country Music Hall of Fame inductee combined the book talk with touring the facility even before it was ready for installations.

Chesney’s interview was filmed in a residence on the West Long Branch campus. His interview with Ziobro was far-reaching: considering his life’s path, unlikely influences, the passion of rock, the overlap beyond genres and, yes, interactions with Springsteen. As he said, “Talking to someone who comes at it from her perspective – Melissa’s a history professor and someone who thinks in curatorial terms – it’s a very different way to approach all this. But her energy is so present, she really draws you into the conversation. She cares about these stories, but she cares for several kinds of reasons, making it an interesting process that made me really think about what I was saying in bigger ways.

“But it also proves, once again, business people like labels, actual people just love music.”

Already named one of Barnes & Noble’s Best Biographies & Memoirs of 2025, Chesney has spent four weeks on both New York Times Best Sellers lists – and seen social media support from far-flung readers including Ziggy Marley, surfer Kelly Slater, Cindy Crawford, Carrot Top, tennis legend Bjorn Borg and fellow New York Times best seller author Cameron Crowe.

“Talking to Melissa about Bruce brought home his generosity in my life in an even deeper way. That’s part of why I wanted to do this interview: to honor the wisdom, friendship and especially inspiration he’s given me as a young man playing for tips, showing me what it means to give away every cell of yourself on that stage, and providing great advice when it was most needed along the way.”

The wild, the innocent and the curious can watch the interview in its entirety and read Ziobro’s blog at https://springsteenarchives.org/. Opening in 2026, the curatorial team is already compiling an outstanding collection of work to reflect how American music documents so much of the moments across time.

The Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music preserves the legacy of Bruce Springsteen and celebrates the history of American music and its diversity of artists and genres. Our mission is two-fold. The Springsteen Archives serves as the official repository for materials related to Springsteen and the E Street Band, including photographs, historic memorabilia, oral histories, and more. The Center for American Music explores American music more broadly. We accomplish this by producing exhibitions, concerts, and educational programming that explores and honors the cultural impact of American music past, present, and future. MORTIIS adds, "While creating and uncreating, sometimes composing, and occasionally violently invoking, the music and sounds that are set to be my new album, it is growing increasingly apparent to me, that I am occasionally calling upon some old ghosts of the past.

I can hear (sometimes clearly, other times faintly) some musical echoes from The 'Smell Of Rain' days, not to mention new sounds of the blurry, faint, but unmistakably strange, future, that is yet to unfold.

"It seems natural to me, to now unearth several of the songs from 'The Smell Of Rain' (and other music, of similar dispirit!) as a first step into the bleak dystopian dreamscapes Mortiis appears to be heading into from here on out.

"So here I am, clawing through a quarter century old recordings, preparing for 2026."

Benighted Unveil Freaky New Drummer on "The Spineless Freak"

Fresh from their latest full-length of psychological torment, Benighted are bringing a ripping new force into the band’s twisted folds. New single, “The Spineless Freak”, marks the official debut of the band’s new drummer Matthias Biechler with all his destructive force.

“The whole story is pretty incredible,” explains Benighted’s vocalist Julien Truchan. “As we were casting other drummers, I got a message from my friend Eugene of Fleshgod Apocalypse who told me he had a student in Paris who learns incredibly fast and that I should contact him. Matthias came for the casting last July and he just amazed us by playing our fastest songs impeccably. He is only 22, has played drums for four years and we're officially his very first band as a drummer! I can't even imagine his level in two or three years. He is at the same time a machine and the nicest guy you can find. We're so happy to welcome him in the band!”

While he also plays bass, Matthias Biechler spent the last four years studying drums under the mentorship of Fleshgod Apocalypse drummer Eugene Ryabchenko. Matthias’ first-ever performance as a drummer took place live onstage while behind the kit for Benighted. The freakish phenom ripped through the band’s blistering songs with a sense of ease that stunned the audience and his new bandmates.

“[…] it’s an honor for me to join Benighted behind the drums”, Matthias says. “This very band gave me the motivation five years ago to push myself and truly work hard on the drums, so joining them today as my first band as a drummer is beyond anything I ever imagined. I’ll give everything I have to live up to the band’s name and unleash all the violence you love so much. Thank you for welcoming me and your support. I can’t wait to share this journey with all of you!”

EPICA - unveil new single 'Avatar - The Final Incarnation - ' in support of their upcoming European Tour

Symphonic metal titans EPICA proudly release their explosive new single 'Avatar – The Final Incarnation – ', a track that deals with the final incarnation (Avatar) to rid the world of unrighteousness and restore truth and purity. The single is accompanied by a stunning visualizer featuring artwork taken directly from the band’s forthcoming EPICA Oracle Card Set, launching worldwide on January 7th.

Stream the song of 'Avatar – The Final Incarnation – ' (created by Dave Letelier), here: https://epica.bfan.link/avatar-the-final-incarnation

Watch the video Below;

Mark Jansen shares insight into the inspiration behind the track:
“In Hindu philosophy, Kalki represents the final avatar who restores balance at the end of the age. That idea of breaking free from cycles—through self-realization, detachment from desires, and inner transformation—resonates deeply with me. ‘Avatar’ channels that journey toward liberation, something both powerful and universal.”

Simone Simons adds:
“We absolutely can’t wait to kick off the European tour. Sharing the stage with our incredible fans night after night is the heartbeat of what we do, and this new song will definitely warm you up for the journey we’re about to take together.”

From January till March, EPICA will embark on 'The Arcane Dimensions' European Tour with Amaranthe and Charlotte Wessels’ The Obsession, that brings three of the genre’s most dynamic forces together for an unforgettable live experience. See the full list of dates below and grab your tickets now!

But more is more: On January 7th, the band will release the 'Aspiral Oracle', a beautifully crafted deluxe boxset containing a 12 card oracle deck (one card per song title and one extra artist card called ‘The Map’), a handbook with an in-depth rulesheet and a stunning incense holder, all designed and sculpted by Hedi Xandt who previously created the artwork for Aspiral. This boxset is a true must have that will give you deeper insights into the meaning of all the Aspiral songs, but can also serve as a tool that can give you guidance in your personal journey.

Pre-order it here: https://geni.us/EpicaOracle

About EPICA:

The journey of growth follows a spiral, continuously widening and deepening with every cycle.

By sticking to this spiritual principle, symphonic metal innovators EPICA have reinvented themselves on their ninth effort Aspiral, releasing a studio album that shows a band brimming with a newfound joy in their own skin – standing united as a team, where every band member brought inspiration, ideas and years of songwriting experience to the table.

Aspiral bears testimony to this unity, but the band’s steep ascent within the past years was far from coincidental and required lots of hard work and combination of things happening after the release of their latest album Omega in the midst of a raging pandemic. After walking several steps off their usual path with their EP The Alchemy Project which saw them collaborating with artists such as MyrkurFleshgod Apocalypse or Uriah Heep, the band played a massive world tour and got invited by a certain band called Metallica for several dates, and played 4 sold out “Symphonic Synergy” shows with a massive orchestra and choir.

After diving deep into hypothetical theories, metaphysical mysticism and themes that were touching the fabric of our existence in the infinity of the universe, EPICA ’s 9th studio effort Aspiral centres on the work of sculptor Stanisław Szukalski. During the first Covid lockdown, bassist Rob van der Loo saw the documentary ‘Struggle – The Life And Lost Art Of Stanislav Szukalski’ and felt so inspired by his work that he wanted to write soundtracks for some of his sculptures, simply because each and every detail in his works are artworks on their own and their stories go very deep. And this is where the path started. Aspiral was born as an instrumental soundtrack to this world, an initially separate project that over time metamorphosed into the new EPICA record.

The title comes from a bronze statue Szukalski did in 1965. If you take a close look, you can see snails rebuilding elements out of the mud in cycles and this eventually leads to civilization and a woman reaching out to the sun. It stands for renewal and inspiration – keywords that define EPICA now.

For more than 20 years now, EPICA  have been standing tall. And while already their last efforts clearly showcased their commitment to the game, it is Aspiral that truly distils the very heart of their trademark sound.

Axel Rudi Pell Announces New Album "Ghost Town" Out 3/20 + Shares Lyric Video for Title Track

You need neither encyclopedia nor satnav to enjoy the music of Bochum-based guitarist, composer, and band mastermind Axel Rudi Pell.

Because what applies to most successful musicians also goes for Pell: His songs are marked by his typical, unmistakable signature — a hybrid of powerful guitar riffs and catchy melodies, presented by a brilliant band consisting of American vocalist Johnny Gioeli, former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, bassist Volker Krawczak, and keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg.

And although Pell has been wowing his fans with this impressive mix for well over 35 (!!!) years, his albums have always included a number of surprises and/or remarkable collaborations. His current studio offering, Ghost Town, is no exception. Axel Rudi Pell has added another 11 masterpieces to his long list of outstanding songs.

Among the songs one stands out: "Breaking Seals," featuring a sensational duet starring frontman Gioeli together with German metal legend Udo Dirkschneider. This collaboration is an absolute first in Pell's career and is additional proof of the great respect the guitarist enjoys among his fellow musicians.

Axel Rudi Pell produced the Ghost Town himself, with Tommy Geiger (Blind Guardian, Helloween), who was also in charge of the mix, providing valuable engineering support during the recording sessions at the Blind Guardian Studios in Grefrath.

The album's debut single "Ghost Town" is the perfect first representative of the new album: A haunting uptempo number, very catchy, very focused that brings to mind the style of early Rainbow classics.

Watch the lyric video below;

Ghost Town will be released on March 20, 2026 through Steamhammer worldwide in the following configurations:

*CD DigiPak incl. poster

Billy Morrison & Ozzy Osbourne Collector’s Edition Picture Disc Vinyl Available

TLG|ZOID proudly presents Billy Morrison and Ozzy Osbourne Collector’s Edition Picture Disc Vinyl, arriving January 9th distributed by Virgin Music Group. The limited-edition 180g picture disc—available now for pre-order, online and at local record stores—is designed as a true collector’s piece, worthy of framing and displaying like fine art.

It’s the perfect Christmas gift for fans of Ozzy and Billy alike, offering a rare and visually striking keepsake that celebrates their powerful collaboration.

This stunning release brings together both smash hits, “Gods of Rock N Roll” (featuring Steve Stevens and a beautiful score by Fred Coury) and “Crack Cocaine" (featuring Steve Stevens), united on one brilliantly crafted, art-forward vinyl. The picture disc format elevates the release into a gallery-worthy keepsake—an item meant not only to be played, but cherished, displayed, and celebrated.

Billy Morrison shares: “I feel so incredibly fortunate to have been able to work with my best friend on those last two songs, CRACK COCAINE and GODS OF ROCK N ROLL, that when the idea of a picture disc vinyl with all the versions on it came up, thanks to my guys at TLG |ZOID, I jumped at the idea. We already had the wonderful cover shots that our photographer, Jane Stuart, had taken throughout the process of both releases, and I remember as a kid just loving the idea of a vinyl record with images on the actual vinyl! It was a no brainer, and a truly wonderful way to close out that chapter with a tip of the hat to Ozzy and the two amazing songs that we did together. I will always be able to watch that video of GODS, when Steve Stevens and I are belly laughing with Ozzy in the studio and hold that close as a treasured memory.”

Billy Morrison, the British guitarist, singer, and songwriter is primarily known as Billy Idol’s rhythm guitar player for the past 15 years alongside lead guitarist Steve Stevens. His recent collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne and Steve Stevens, “Crack Cocaine,” soared to #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, further solidifying his place as a powerhouse in the rock world. The Morrison Project is a testament to his collaborative spirit and fearless commitment to creating boundary-breaking music that unites artists and genres in bold, unexpected ways.

Beauty in Chaos shares 'Get Down Moses', a Joe Strummer tribute from new 2-track single

The always revolving, ever-evolving entity Beauty In Chaos presents 'Get Down Moses' from their latest double A-side single 'God's Gonna Cut You Down / Get Down Moses'.  This newest offering is BIC's own rendition of this much-loved Joe Strummer classic, the video for which was filmed and directed by Vicente Cordero (Industrialism Films).

Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Michael Rozon (Ministry, Jarboe, Wayne Hussey, The Melvins), this single was released via Los Angeles-based boutique imprint 33.3 Music Collective. BIC earlier shared the video for their enveloping, smokey rendition of the traditional gospel hymn 'God’s Gonna Cut You Down', popularized by Mr. Johnny Cash.

BIC curator Michael Ciravolo takes on duties as lead vocalist on both tracks in this release, in addition to guitars and percussion. On this track, he is joined by Rozon (bass, drum programming, synths, backing vocals) with backing vocals by Tish Ciravolo and Whitney Tai.

“As with 'God’s Gonna Cut You Down', I felt a spiritual calling to do this particular song. I think Joe’s lyrics are certainly "timely" and just as socially important as anything he ever did with The Clash," says Michael Ciravolo.

“We filmed this the day after we shot “God’s Gonna Cut you Down”, so it was nice to swing the pendulum to something a bit lighter. While this video looks like it was fun to make, it was certainly not meant to lessen the sting of Joe’s lyrical attack on governments, oppression and the Catholic church.  My ‘1977’ shirt, which I am sure Clash fans will notice, is my personal tribute to Joe Strummer”.

Beauty In Chaos has come a long way since LA-based guitarist Michael Ciravolo(formerly of Human Drama and Gene Loves Jezebel and current President of Schecter Guitars) launched this project in 2018. Over the years, BIC has involved members of The Cure, Ministry, Cheap Trick, The Offspring, Gene Loves Jezebel, Marilyn Manson, Human Drama, Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, A Flock of Seagulls and dUg Pinnick, ICE-T, Rolan Bolan and Zakk Wylde, among other luminaries.

The new single is available everywhere digitally, including Bandcamp and Beauty In Chaos' storewhere their latest two albums -- 'Dancing With Angels' and the remix companion ‘Signs In The Heavens Reality Upside Down’ -- can also be found.

Singer/Songwriter Adam Mac Sells Out Return to His Hometown

Fresh off being named Billboard’s Country Rookie of the Month in Nov. and the release of his acclaimed third studio album Southern Spectacle in Oct., rising country singer/songwriter Adam Mac delivered true Southern spectacle last night with a sold-out hometown performance at The Loft in Russellville, KY to celebrate his new album’s release.

The show marked a full-circle moment for the Kentucky native as the appearance was his first performance in his conservative hometown since being scheduled to headline the Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival in 2023 when he withdrew from the festival following backlash from local pastors which sparked national headlines and inspired his latest album. A portion of proceeds from last night’s ticket sales went to the local Isaiah 117 House, a safe and home-like place for children entering the foster care system.

His strength in the face of hate drew support from fans, hometown friends and celebrities alike – including Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini and Brandy Clark. And he was greeted by that same love and support last night with a packed room of family, friends, longtime supporters and new fans. The man dubbed “country music’s very own Elton John” by PEOPLE, turned The Loft into a joyful, glitter and sequin-soaked homecoming celebrating the very roots that shaped his story.

Holler previously noted that “it’s no wonder his fans have started calling him ‘cowBoy George,’” and Tuesday night, Mac lived up to the reputation pairing spectacular showmanship with the heartfelt vulnerability that defines Southern Spectacle. The set featured album standouts including “Old Photograph,” which he performed during his national TV debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show in Oct., as well as fan favorites “All Dollars, No Sense,” title track “Southern Spectacle,” “Dust Off Your Boots,” and his breakout hit “Disco Cowboy.”

Declared “fearless” by Pride.com, Mac continues to carve out his own lane in country music, fusing rich Southern storytelling with modern pop energy and unapologetic self-expression. Southern Spectacle, produced by Jason Mater with additional production by Sean Trainor, Warren Riker and HALLIE, has been praised for its boldness and honesty, with Billboard calling “All Dollars, No Sense” a “must-hear” and Pride.com celebrating the track as “the definition of queer joy,” while Entertainment Focus called the album “a fearless fusion of country, pop and pride” and Rainbow Rodeo declared “if there’s one queer record that needs to make every year-end list, it’s this one.” Listen to Southern Spectacle Below.

“Coming back to my hometown to share the album inspired by what happened here in 2023 was so healing,” said Mac. “That moment showed me both the work still to be done as queer artists and the power of continuing to show up as your most authentic self. To stand on a stage in my hometown last night, with a sold-out crowd cheering on all this Southern Spectacle, is a testament to how far we’ve come and where we’re going.”

Raised in Russellville as a church-and-farm kid who adored The Spice Girls and Shania Twain, Mac long felt like an outsider in his conservative community. His path toward embracing his identity and his distinctive artistry became the core of Southern Spectacle, a project he describes as “bold, vulnerable and the most authentic I’ve ever been on a record.” The album builds on the world introduced with his breakthrough Disco Cowboy era, blending vocal soul, dancefloor-ready country-pop, and vibrant self-acceptance.

Last night’s sold-out hometown show not only celebrated his return but also underscored Mac’s growing influence as a visible queer voice in modern country. With his magnetic presence, signature flair and message of joy, he continues to prove that there is room for every kind of story within the genre.
