Melodic deathcore quintet Carrion Vael has released the official music video for "Savage Messiah"today via Unique Leader Records. The track can be found on the band's excellent new album 'Cannibals Anonymous'. Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, the band commented:

“Self-proclaimed prophet and leader of the totalitarian doomsday cult The Ant Hill Kids, Roch Thériault could only be described as “savage”. Thériault's punishments were violent and extreme, often castrating male members of his cult, forcing members to break their own limbs with a sledgehammer, and even performing unnecessary amateur surgery without anesthesia. Finally being arrested in 1989 after drunkenly amputating a woman’s arm with a meat cleaver, Thériault's reign of terror ended after being sentenced to life in prison. His insanity inspired this song and is our version of his story, and the story of the people he tortured.”

Melodic deathcore quintet Carrion Vael has today released their new album 'Cannibals Anonymous'via Unique Leader Records. 'Cannibals Anonymous' is the follow-up full-length to the band's 2022 ULR debut, 'Abhorrent Obsessions'. In celebration of the news, the band has shared their new single "Love Zombie" and the accompanying lyric video. Speaking about today's news, the band shared:

“Roughly 30 years ago, a young man by the name of Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer roamed the unsuspecting midwestern bar scene of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Jeffrey’s intention was to lure young men back to his apartment, drug them, and possess their lives. Dahmer would drill a hole into the head of these men, and using a turkey baster, inject hydrochloric acid into their brain. His hope was that it would help make zombie sex slaves to sooth the loneliness he suffered, with the companionship he craved. "Love Zombie" is that story.”
