Will our authoritarian leaders deploy the national guard to squash any protest or dissent? Will we look back in regret because we didn’t do more to stop it all when we had the chance? Things are getting more destabilized in America by the day, and this could be our actual reality before we know it."

ABOUT DEBT NEGLECTOR:
Formed in 2016, these Florida punks have spent the last 8 years honing a sound that showcases their ability to blend catchy hooks with a vicious attitude. With four releases firmly under their belt, the “Atomicland” LP (2017), “The Kids are Pissed” EP (2018), the “Bad Faith” EP (2020), and the “Dirty Water” LP (2021), the band has already established themselves as a group that pulls no punches in their pursuit to call out injustice. Just to name a few, the band has screamed, shouted, and sang about systemic failures and distrust of the government, the fear of impending nuclear war, loss, depression, illness, and the USA’s sick obsession with assault rifles. With past tours covering the US, Canada, and Europe, the band has set their sights on bringing their brand of pissed off punk music to whoever is ready and willing to listen. Debt Neglector are also no stranger to the festival scene with several appearances at The Fest (FL) and Sing it Out Loud Festival, and a showcase at Pouzza Fest (MTL), they have managed to share the stage with the likes of Propaghandi, Descendents and more. In 2024 Debt Neglector returned to the studio to follow up their past releases with a batch of new songs that has now become the “Kinda Rips” LP (Smartpunk Records – 2025). Their new music remains viciously political but also features some deeply personal topics including the pressures of fatherhood, insecurity, and dealing with mortality. The culmination is an album that is dynamic and relatable from a band whose angry and honest approach is a blunt kick in the pants to the powers that be.

Today, renowned rock singer RUSS BALLARD shares a revisited version of his famous hit “God Gave Rock N' Roll To You”, and a new music video, both of which are out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

RUSS BALLARD describes the track by saying:

“It reflected the optimism I felt at the time, with lines like 'love your friend, love your neighbour, love your life and love your labour, it's never too late to change your mind.' It was a hit for Argent and a hit for KISS 18 years later when it was included in the film 'Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey.'”

RUSS BALLARD is simply one of the most renowned and gifted songwriters in pop and rock music. His music career started when he was only 14 years old, and he wrote a tune, which was recorded by The Shadows, appearing on their album, 'The Sound Of The Shadows' in 1964.

During the 70s and 80s, his songs ruled the airwaves, and the list of hits is pretty much endless. From “Since You Been Gone” (Rainbow), “God Gave Rock'n'Roll To You” (Argent and KISS), “So You Win Again” (Hot Chocolate), “New York Groove” (Hello and Ace Frehley), “You Can Do Magic” (America), “Winning” (Santana) or “I Don’t Believe In Miracles” (Colin Blunstone) – just to name a few – everyone who needed a great song knew that with RUSS BALLARD they could not go wrong.

Numerous records/artists were also produced by him, like Roger Daltrey, America, Elkie Brooks, Skindred or Sada Vidoo. In 1974, he started a solo career (after his stint with the band Argent in early 70’s), which had its highest momentum with the 'S/t' album in 1984 (which included the hit single “Voices”) and the follow up “The Fire Still Burns”.

Since then, BALLARD has released 10 studio albums and is still writing and producing hits. Three songs from his 1984 and 1985 albums were featured in the TV show “Miami Vice” and were extensively played on dance floors around Europe.

Stephen Chesney is a U.S.-based English guitarist, songwriter, and producer with a lifelong passion for music. A rock fan at heart, Stephen's playing style and songwriting have led him to perform and collaborate with a wide range of some of the worlds most talented musicians.

Speaking on the song , vocalist Spencer Chamberlain calls it “...one of the most out-there songs we've ever written. We really wanted to create a track that was drum-and-bass-driven, kind of in the vein of The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Noisia, etc. We also pulled elements from Justice and The Streets. There’s a darkness to those artists that’s so heavy and interesting to me, and we really wanted to embrace that on this song. To me, this is kind of our version of that—sharing a lot of those elements and vibes but still keeping the heaviness of Underoath at its core.”

He continues, “Lyrically, I wrote it from the place I used to go whenever something went wrong in my life, which I think we can all relate to. It's a place I now consciously avoid when things fall apart. But it’s that moment when everything in your life has fallen apart, you’re at the bar, and you just don’t care anymore. Maybe it’s the end of a relationship, the loss of a friend or family member, or you just got fired—whatever it may be, we've all had a night like this. It’s a scary feeling, and it’s a place I never want to go back to, but that’s the song in a nutshell. It’s pretty on the nose, so to speak, but I felt like I needed to write it down to remind myself to never go there again.”

In 2025, Underoath will be visiting Australia for the first time since 2019, performing They’re Only Chasing Safety in its entirety along with an encore set, as direct support for Alexisonfire . Soon after their jaunt in Australia, the band will return to North America for a run of shows supporting Rise Against and Papa Roach as part of their Rise of the Roach tour. DIAMOND DOGS may be a bunch of renaissance rockers deeply rooted in the early 70s British rock and roll, but just like their forerunners, they owe almost everything to Little Richard, the architect of it all! It's impossible to even imagine rock and roll without him.

One of DIAMOND DOGS' early tunes is called "Lunatic Eye-Rolling Delivery" which is a line nicked from a concert review of Little Richard, and we believe it sums up the essence of his greatness pretty well. He was much more than a rock pioneer, the way he dressed up and spoke was something the world had never experienced before.

Little Richard got Paul McCartney to write "I Saw Her Standing There", got James Browna new haircut, and put a silly little mustache on Prince!

So, the idea of recording a homage to the true king of rock and roll had been with the band for many years when CHRIS SPEDDING one day called Sulo and asked if they should record something together. Of course, Sulo immediately said yes, and then asked him to join DIAMOND DOGS in the upcoming studio session to record some well selected Little Richard gems for an LP. All said and done, and CHRIS was extra thrilled that his favorite "Send Me Some Lovin'' was among the songs that were picked.

And, on a cold and windy January day, the DOGS gathered with the new old puppy in the sweet premises of Dog Pound Studios, along with their beloved friend and engineer Jonas Åhlén.

The result is a breathtaking and beautiful homage to the king Little Richard. 'Macon Georgia Giant' ladies and gentleman – prepare to get your socks rocked.

SEVEN SPIRES Celebrates 5 Year Anniversary of 'Emerald Seas' with Re-Recorded Version of "The Road" + Music Video

SEVEN SPIRES celebrates the five year anniversary of their acclaimed album 'Emerald Seas' with a re-recorded version of "The Road", which is accompanied by a music video.

"The Road", originally only released as a bonus track on the Japan edition of 'Emerald Seas', has now been revitalized with new recording, mixing, and mastering as well as featuring Dylan Gowan's drumming on a recorded SEVEN SPIRES song for the first time.

About the re-recorded version of "The Road", the band comments:

"'The Road' was a very fun and special song that was originally the exclusive bonus track for the Japanese release of our second album, 'Emerald Seas'. It’s hard to believe it, but now, for the album’s 5-year anniversary, we wanted to give a facelift and update to this track and release it for the rest of the world to enjoy.

"Aside from a couple of orchestral and keyboard parts, this version of 'The Road' is entirely re-recorded, remixed, and remastered, including Dylan Gowan’s fantastic drumming for the first time on a recorded SEVEN SPIRES song. It’s a fitting one, because Dylan basically jumped in the deep end with our recent show schedule, and as you can see from the accompanying video we put together for the release, it’s been nothing but a blast having him on tour with us!

TESLA Release Music Video for "ALL ABOUT LOVE" (Electric Version); Announce New Tour Dates! ​

Legendary rock band TESLA has unveiled the electric version of the music video for their latest single, "All About Love." The track is part of their All About Love EP, which is now available as a special edition release on limited collector's 12" vinyl.

What you will hold in your hands is a one of a kind collectors edition 12” VINYL EP that showcases TESLA’s new song “All About Love” in the three formats that TESLA the band is famously known for: ELECTRIC, ACOUSTIC, and LIVE performances. Multiple versions of this new song are presented here on this EP. 

 Music lovers will state that a great “song” will sound great played in any of these formats, so TESLA’s Brian Wheat and Frank Hannon have teamed up to produce this 12” Vinyl EP of their new single  “All About Love” showcasing these different versions of the song. 

Captured by Brian Wheat in his upstate NY recording studio, there is an electric version that shows how the band performs the song in full force, as well as two stripped down acoustic versions that showcase the dynamics of his mixes. Thus, Jeff Keith’s heartfelt lyrics about sharing love can be felt and to honor TESLA’s tradition of  adding an acoustic instrumental to their love ballads, Frank Hannon recorded here a new classically influenced acoustic guitar solo piece titled “From The Heart” that is a nod to their 1987 hit “Love Song”. 

Furthermore, to present the “live in concert”  element of TESLA, a rendition of "All About Love" segues into James Gang’s classic song "Walk Away", both were recorded live at a Las Vegas concert earlier this year. They are included here as bonus tracks!

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like Bad Company, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith.

The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000.

LOVE IS NOISE is an exercise in empathy, both lyrically and musically. The band’s Century Media debut, ‘To live in a different way’, straddles the roughshod riffing and volume of their DIY origins while embracing shoegaze-facing melodiousness, hints of Brit-pop, and a beating (and bleeding) heart erupting from Cam Humphrey’s plaintive vocals. Co-produced by the band with engineer Kel Pinchin and mixed by John Markson (Drug Church, Drain, The Story So Far), ‘To live in a different way’ is a startling debut album. From the opening track, “Devotion,” where Humphrey’s voice invokes passion and positivity, to the second track, “Soft Glow,” the album’s first single where he croons, “You are the one that shines on me,”before launching into a throat-shredding exaltation of emotion amidst a crushing battery of slashing guitars and battering drums, it’s clear from the onset that LOVE IS NOISE’s heartbeat is a thunderous one.

“We made a conscious decision to make the record feel like a live band, mistakes included!”says Cam. “In an era where perfection is heavily favoured, we wanted to do the complete opposite and dive headfirst into creating something our idols would’ve set out to create.”

LOVE IS NOISE began its journey in 2021 as a collaboration between Humphrey and former guitarist Tom Mellon (who recently left the band to explore other musical endeavours) balancing the ethereal and intense. But that's not all—after years of anticipation, The Lucid is hitting the stage for their live debutat the 10th annual Guitars Under the Stars Music Festival, July 31–August 2, 2025, in Eugene, Oregon!

David Ellefson shared, “We've had so many requests for live shows, and as much as we wanted to, the timing never aligned. We’re thrilled to finally make it happen at such an iconic event!”

The band formed in 2020, debuting their self-titled album in 2021. After overcoming challenges, including guitarist Drew Fortier’s successful cancer recovery, they kept delivering new music, including collaborations with Violent J (Insane Clown Posse) and a bold cover ofFaith No More's Epic, reimagined as "Sweet Toof."

THE DEAD DAISIES RELEASE NEW SINGLE AHEAD OF FIRST LIVE SHOWS FOR 2025

The Dead Daisies release their latest single “Love That’ll Never Be” today. The song came together while the band was working on songs for what became their latest album “Light ‘Em Up”. John and Marti Frederiksen had started working on the track with a future Corabi solo record in mind but decided to throw it into the mix for the band to consider. Everyone really liked it and after a few elements were trimmed off and Doug toughened up some of the guitar parts, they all really loved how it came out!!

“Love That’ll Never Be” is a bluesy 70’s Rock ballad reminiscent of The Allman Brothers about a girl who thought the grass was greener until she realises that what she wanted....she already had!!! Now, it’s too late to get it back...” –John Corabi

Singer/Songwriter Katie Kadan Releases New Track "I Do" + Debut EP set for May 9, 2025

With one of the boldest, brashest, turn-your-day-around vocals in music, soulful singer/songwriter Katie Kadan is back with another original track, “I Do.” The hopelessly romantic new song released for Valentine’s Day is giving fans a another taste of what to expect from her debut EP set for release on May 9, 2025.  Listen to “I Do” HERE. 
 
Written by Kadan with Thomas “Tawgs” Salter and Johnny Reid who also serves as producer, “I Do” captures the undying optimism of the heart for what is sure to be an instant classic wedding song.

For the forthcoming EP fans can expect Kadan to keep pulling big emotions from simple, self-penned songs and delivering them with a blowtorch of a vocal. Kadan set the tone for the EP last year with her first release, "Without You.” Pairing a rich swagger and almost-spiritual self-confidence with a propulsive rhythm and stadium-sized vocal, Kadan calls it her “women's anthem” – a much-needed message of freedom.
 
She followed that release with the sultry, “Unless I Fall In Love,” where she finds the self-worth we all need … waiting within. “Sometimes life can be like ‘If I'm not this certain way, do I have value? Am I ever going to have purpose?’” she says. “’Am I ever going to be worthy of love, or will I keep falling short?’”
 
A classically-inspired soul diva for a brand-new age, sharing her growth toward self-respect through the empowering joy of music has become Kadan’s calling – her sense of purpose. A born entertainer and the youngest of four in a church-centered, deeply-musical family, it took Kadan her whole life to find her purpose. But now that she has, it seems almost inevitable. 
 
Praising her “big, loud family,” the vocal phenom learned to harmonize as soon as she could talk and delivered her first performance in front of her church congregation at 3 years old. Homeschooled by a songwriting mother who loved the ‘60s folk revival, and with a father whose taste kept Otis Redding, James Brown and the giants of soul on repeat, music was embedded in Kadan’s daily life – so deep that when she couldn’t concentrate on her studies, the fix was to play some piano and quiet her mind. 
 
Obviously talented, her parents helped a teenaged Kadan join one of Chicago’s top choirs, and they even scraped enough money together to send her to conservatory. But feeling like she had no shot at a career, she dropped out, taking odd jobs and teaching vocal lessons instead. “I was unhappy,” she admits now. “That's not what I wanted to do, but I had no idea how to get into the music business. And honestly, I didn't think I would have a place … because I'm a fat lady.”
 
Needing some joy in her life, Kadan knew where to turn. She found her way to the female owned and operated Underground Wonder Bar and got herself a life-changing gig. Thrilling local crowds with her dynamic voice – an explosive, all-natural mix of raspy soul and gospel power – she made a point to go her own way, performing original songs right from her first night … and people took notice. A producer from NBC’s The Voice soon got in touch, but still feeling unworthy, Kadan turned them down.
 
“I didn't want to do it. I thought, it's kind of a sellout,” she says with a laugh. “I was going to go back to school actually, because I was tired of the hustle. I was going to go for psychology, and I'm like, ‘Music to me is the healer. And if I can't be a singer, I’ve got to help people in a different way.’”
 
Eventually, though, Kadan changed her mind. Determined to give herself just one chance – and feeling like she had nothing to lose – she showed up for The Voice and stood out immediately, taking third place on Season 17 in 2019. Impressing judges and fans alike with her big style, big voice, and ability to leave her heart on the stage each night, Kadan’s joyful personality and clear comfort in her own skin tore through countless stereotypes. She became an inspiration to millions.
