OVERSIZE Share Video For New Track "Vacant' —

OVERSIZE have revealed their new single "Vacant," another glimpse of their stunning debut album Vital Signs, due February 28 via SharpTone.

Watch the video below.

Stream the song here.

Of the single, the band comments, "''Vacant' is one of the few album tracks that made its way into our live set pre-release, it's one of our favorite songs to play live, and we're really stoked to release it as the last single before our album comes out."

Oversize continue, "Lyrically, the song focuses around a lack of connection and communication with the people around you, how easy it is to get complacent, and not check in with someone, or open up with how you're really feeling."

OVERSIZE have already turned the heads of many tastemakers in the UK scene, with rave reviews and rapt attention from Dan P Carter, Alyx Holcombe, and Jack Saunders at BBC R1. In their short time as a band, OVERSIZE have already performed at Outbreak Festival, and supported Militarie Gun, Higher Power, Fiddlehead, Boston Manor, and many more.

Although still very much in its infancy, the group — which formed in the South West of England — has already developed a fully-formed, personal sound. Elements of post-hardcore, alternative metal, shoegaze, and emo combine to deliriously heady effect. While the band doesn't shy away from its love of alternative '90s music, and a love of HUM, Smashing Pumpkins, Deftones, and Pixies, OVERSIZE have very little interest in being sonically tied to the past.

The band members and the shared experience of writing and playing live together has found them carving out their own space within the alternative scene in just a handful of years. Exploring the vast range of dynamics within their music, songs drift between atmospheric textures to loud fuzzy riffs, magnifying and complimenting the personal and often venerable vocals.

In addition to headlining their own sold-out shows from coast to coast at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Ryman Auditorium, plus performing at marquee festivals Bonnaroo, Stagecoach, Download and more, the six-piece was also personally selected to open The Rolling Stones’ Chicago stadium show. Their latest self-produced album, Tornillo, available everywhere now via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records, features the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022, “John Wayne,” and follows their fifth studio album, Whiskey Myers, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (No. 3 among new releases). Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Recognizes Ashley Gorley

CBS News Senior Culture Correspondent Anthony Mason revealed the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2025 honorees this morning on CBS Mornings recognizing inductees The Doobie Brothers, George Clinton, Mike Love from the Beach Boys, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins alongside Nashvillian Ashley Gorley. Gorley was at home starting his day as the news broke.

“I’m honestly shocked. I started out in the tape room listening to some of the greatest songwriters turn in demos,” Gorley shares, reflecting on his journey. “Being welcomed into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and this legendary group of music makers is a dream come true. I’ve always looked up to this organization, and I’m proud to join representing Nashville and the country music community.

“I’ve attended this event as a fan and it always leaves me inspired, so this moment is truly surreal for me and my family,” Gorley adds. “I’m incredibly grateful for the Hall of Fame and all the songwriting heroes who shaped music as we know it today, and I’m looking forward to celebrating everyone in June.”

Morgan Wallen congratulated his friend and “Love Somebody” and “Last Night” collaborator sharing, “Ashley, your talent and work ethic are unmatched. I’m glad you’re being celebrated for your craft and there is no one more deserving of this honor. After as many hits as you’ve had, you don’t have to show up like you do for me and other artists and writers, and yet, your passion and love of songwriting inspires us every day. Congratulations on being named to the Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2025!”

Sony Music Publishing Nashville CEO Rusty Gaston expressed admiration for Gorley’s journey and character, noting, “From dreams that began in Danville, KY to creating songs that have touched lives and hearts all over the world, Ashley Gorley is truly one of a kind. His drive, determination and perseverance are only eclipsed by his heart, genuine spirit and his faith. It’s astounding what he has achieved thus far, and he has no signs of slowing down, with hit songs on the chart today and many, many more to come. Every member of his family at Sony Music Publishing could not be more proud of him and congratulate him on this well deserved recognition.”

Tape Room Music President Blain Rhodes remarks, “This is a huge accomplishment! The Songwriters Hall of Fame celebrates the great songwriters from all genres who have enriched the world's culture through their music. Ashley has been, and continues to be one of the most prolific songwriters of all time. His body of work is unmatched and his songs have helped shape Country Music. This is a very well deserved honor.”

Gorley grew up in Danville, Kentucky and attended Belmont University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1999. Since, he has continued to give back to the University through leading seminars, mentoring students and serving as an adjunct instructor. Gorley has met with Senators and The Library of Congress to promote songwriters’ rights and bills such as the Music Modernization Act. In 2011, Gorley formed his own publishing and artist development company, Tape Room Music. Under his leadership and mentorship writers for Tape Room have celebrated 50 No. 1 songs, including 2018 ASCAP Country Song of the Year, “Body Like A Back Road,” 2021 ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC Country Song, “One Of Them Girls,” and 10-week Country Airplay number-one hit, “World On Fire.” An 8-time NSAI, 11-time ASCAP and 2023 Songwriter of the Year (all-genre) by Variety, the publication proclaimed “Gorley is widely considered contemporary country’s most successful writer.” In 2024 he supported the launch of a program designed for the creative community by The Onsite Foundation: Creatives Support Network, providing free mentorship, education, resources and mental wellness support specifically designed for members of the songwriting community gifting 80 grants for 80 individuals to commemorate his 80th chart-topper. Gorley’s recent collaborations with Jelly Roll and Post Malone/Morgan Wallen (“I Am Not Okay” and “I Had Some Help”) are being honored at the upcoming GRAMMY Awards with two nominations in the Best Country Song category.

VLTIMAS Write Manifesto on New Video

The band's leaders have long lorded over the demons of  underground metal, but VLTIMAS rose to truly epic extremes on their new album. "...lives up to their reputation as extreme metal's leading lights", wrote Metal Hammer, who named EPIC one of the best albums of 2024.

This year, VLTIMAS are adding another devilish tale to their legend when they tour North America for the very first time. As the band plot to scorch faithful followers from coast to coast with fellow demigods Septicflesh and Ex Deo, today, they're issuing another grand declaration with a punishing new video for their latest manifesto.

Watch the music video for "Mephisto Manifesto" below:

EPIC is out now on Season of Mist.

After three decades on the throne, even the most Satanic rulers are guilty of sitting back and admiring their dirty work. But VLTIMAS are still doing the devil's work. "Mephisto Manifesto" declares their unholy dominion over extreme metal. "I'm righting all their wrongs", Evil D growls with righteous disdain at his lesser demons. His captors may put a stop to his grand plan in the song's devious video, but the closing solo from Rune Eriksen seals the band's oath to extreme excellence in blood.

"We are teaming up with our metal brothers Septicflesh and Ex Deo for VLTIMAS' first-ever North American Tour next month", says David Vincent. "We look we look forward to sharing our strength and misery with our friends and fans. This indeed will be EPIC!"

March 2 - New York, NY @ Gramercy Theater [TICKETS]

The video for "Mephisto Manifesto" was produced by 9LITER FILMY (www.9lf.pl). It was written and directed by Błażej Jankowiak.

VLTIMAS brought Italian artist Daniele Valeriani (Mayhem, Unanimated) to visualize EPIC. The aesthetic, as illuminated by music and message, was iconic boldness. The three-eagle head crest with three different crowns, accompanied by transfigured symbols of the Passion and the "impossible triangle," projects effortlessly. In EPIC, the group will dominate. There's no escape from "Miserere," "Mephisto Manifesto," "Scorcher," and "Invictus." Together, they thrust, by resolve and inventiveness, VLTIMAS into the uppermost echelons of extreme metal.

"[EPIC is] old meets contemporary, a symbiosis of all the great things we love about extreme metal," offers Eriksen. "All combined into one album."

"I want to be as emotional and honest [with VLTIMAS]," Vincent adds. "I want to tell stories; I want to have the themes that appeal to me; I want to have some messaging that someone can take away, in this case, strength. EPIC is strength."

Originating from the Swiss Alps and deeply rooted in Celtic history, mythology, and spirituality, the band has become a cornerstone of the modern metal scene. In 2022, ELUVEITIE released the singles 'Aidus' and 'Exile of the Gods,' marking a new chapter in their musical journey and thematical cycle pursuing the lyrical concept opened by their last studio album Ategnatos. These tracks were followed by the announcement of their upcoming album, ÀNV, set for release in April 2025. The first single sfrom this album, 'Premonition', and 'The Prodigal Ones' has just been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the band's evolving sound.

BEWITCHER Announces U.S. March Tour

All the best tunes belong to the Devil, and Portland’s bastard sons BEWITCHER have returned to take back rock n’ roll in Baphomet’s name. The band is now joining forces with DEATHCHANT to co-headline a U.S. tour in celebration of their latest offering, 'Spell Shock,' along with support from PERSEKUTOR. In conjunction with BEWITCHER's appearance at Hell's Heroes Festival on March 30, the speed metal demons will wreak havoc across the country from March 14 in San Francisco, CA until the final stop back in their hometown of Portland on April 5! The full itinerary can be found below while tickets can be found HERE.

Bassist A. Magus comments, “Few bands are as aligned with us in their love of all things Motörhead and Sabbath than DEATHCHANT. When the opportunity came to join forces for a spring run to Hells Heroes and back, we couldn’t say no. To make this tour even more killer, Romania’s snow obsessed riff-lords PERSEKUTOR will be tagging along. Expect nothing short of ice-cold beer soaked heavy tunes and hellish good times. PARTY ON!”

Joining Von Bewitcher, bassist A. Magus, and drummer A. Hunter in the studio this time was none other longtime BEWITCHER fan Lars Frederiksen. Most of the world knows Frederiksen as a force in his own right, playing in the likes of Bay Area punk heroes Rancid, as well as his own Old Firm Casuals. While to some, it may have been an unlikely pairing with Frederiksen taking the producer’s seat, for everyone in the studio the connection was immediate.

As Frederiksen previously commented on 'Spell Shock': "It’s the best record I’ve ever produced for one of the best bands in the world."

Magus explains about their experience with Frederiksen: “[Lars’] knowledge of heavy metal, black metal and thrash – as well as punk, is vast and extreme. It was definitely a match made in hell.'

'Spell Shock' is out now Century Media Records and can be found HERE.

Since their formation in 2013, Bewitcher has seen their signature “Black Magick Metal” sound go from humble beginnings to new heights of creativity and wild anthemic fervor. A small collection of long out-of-print demo tapes kicked off what has proven to be an enduring line of ripping studio albums, singles and EPs. They have earned a reputation as one of the hardest working touring acts around, bringing their volcanic, high energy live shows to every corner of North America and parts abroad.

From its eye-grabbing-and-gouging artwork by Italian horror maestro Solo Macello, to songs like the haunting “We Die in Dust,” to the epic closing track “Ride of the Iron Fox” (“That’s BEWITCHER’s Dokken song!” laughs A. Hunter.) Spell Shock is BEWITCHER at their most evolved and most devastatingly primal. “We wanted it to be an album experience,” says drummer A. Hunter. “Imagine King Diamond’s Abigail in terms of atmosphere merged with the energy of AC/DC’s High Voltage.”

PHIL X & THE DRILLS Announce New Album 'POW! Right In The Kisser' Out March 28th via Frontiers Music Srl

PHIL X & THE DRILLS are back and ready to blow minds with their electrifying new album'POW! Right In The Kisser', set for release via Frontiers Music Srl on March 28th. Known for their unique fusion of punk, classic, and modern rock infused with guitar virtuosity, PHIL X & THE DRILLS have carved out a distinctive spot in the rock world—and they’re kicking it into high gear with this upcoming release.

To celebrate this announcement, the band shares the album's second single "Moving to California", following up "Don't Wake Up Dead", alongside a new visualizer available to view below. The track features Jeremy Spencer on drums.

On the new single, PHIL X comments:

"'Moving To California" was always a dream of mine when I was a young guitar player going up in Toronto, Canada. From a distance, it always seemed like the place to be. When I moved there in '97, a lot of the ROCK glamor was gone, but I stayed and stuck to my goals. The song is a reflection of my story & other stories I had heard along the way."

The band—featuring guitar hero PHIL X (Bon Jovi) on lead vocals and guitar and Daniel Spree on bass and backing vocals—is pulling out all the stops on 'POW! Right In The Kisser', with an all-star lineup of guest drummers including Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Ray Luzier(Korn), and Tico Torres (Bon Jovi), among others.

About the album, PHIL X shared:

"'POW! Right in the Kisser' was a good 10 years in the making. 'Battleship' was tracked in 2014. I just kept writing & we'd record & then kept the whole 'different drummer on every song' thing going. It became a very special collection of songs & vibes. It's very exciting for me to share something like that with the world."

Watch the New Visualizer for "Moving to California" below.

The journey of PHIL X & THE DRILLS is one of relentless passion and perseverance. From their early days stirring up the Hollywood rock scene in 2003, to their breakout EP 'Kick Your Ass in 17 Minutes' (2009), the band has always kept fans hooked with their high-energy sound and jaw-dropping performances. As PHIL X became a YouTube sensation through his work demoing vintage guitars for Fretted Americana, the band’s visibility skyrocketed, eventually evolving into the powerhouse known as PHIL X & THE DRILLS.

Over the years, the band has worked with an incredible roster of guest drummers, including Josh Freese ( Sting, Foo Fighters), Abe Laboriel Jr. (Paul McCartney), and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), among others. Their most recent release, 'Stupid Good Lookings Vol. 1', showcased the band’s knack for pushing boundaries and delivering unforgettable rock tracks.

In 2024, PHIL X & THE DRILLS hit a new career milestone, opening for Mötley Crüe at Summerfest in Springfield, IL, where their performance left 10,000 fans and industry professionals in awe. Now, with 'POW! Right in the Kisser', they’re set to take the next big step in their musical journey.

Three-headed Danish doom monster KATLA is set to take 2025 by the throat with the release of their unmissable debut album, Scandinavian Pain, out March 21 via Napalm Records. After years of honing their colossal sound and live energy, the band delivers an unrelenting blend of raw emotion, gritty riffs, and subterranean sonic battery. The album not only marks a new chapter for the band, but also reflects their rise to acclaim — from humble beginnings at Copenhell Festival, to becoming a standout act in Denmark's heavy music underground. Witness this thunderstorm on European stages, when KATLA will support the mighty death metal force 1914 on their extensive tour starting end of February!

Scandinavian Pain also marks the debut of new KATLA bassist and vocalist Theis Thorgersen. His addition not only breathes renewed energy into the band itself, but imbues an evolved sound that is heavier, darker, and sharper than ever before. KATLA's meaningful yet uninhibited sound and high-energy live performances have positioned them as a force to be reckoned with.

KATLA on "Taurus":

"This was the first song that we created after the departure of our old bassist. We didn’t have a label or a clear plan of what we wanted to do besides making music. Taurus was our first step into the 'newer' sound of KATLA. After making the split 'Overdoser' and trying to up the tempo a bit to make it sound tougher and gritter, Taurus came naturally with the arrival of Theis on the bass and vocal parts, and the visions for the debut KATLA album."

Watch the official music video for "Taurus"

Scandinavian Pain is a cathartic exploration of personal struggles, mental health, and societal critique. Songs like "Dead Lover" and "Grim Jesus" dive deep into themes of overcoming inner darkness and rejecting oppressive systems, showcasing lyrics that resonate with the resilience of the human spirit. "Castle of Purity" is a searing anthem that calls out the abuse and hypocrisy in organized religion — a powerful statement about pushing back against injustice and finding strength in individuality. Produced by Lasse Ballade (known for his work with Solbrud, Alkymist, and Halshug), the record combines visceral sonic landscapes with a deeply personal narrative. Prepare to experience the raw power and unfiltered honesty of KATLA on Scandinavian Pain

KATLA says about the album:

"Scandinavian Pain is an album about the shame of feeling depressed in a country that in many ways seems to be out of any misery or control of others. The inherent feeling of guilt, the despondent thoughts. The weight of cultural Christianity and being part of a system that is destroying both ours and other lives. It’s about watching the newest season of whatever decadent TV show is on while children are being murdered daily. All the songs are different, yet similar. This time, there’s an affirmation for you, who might need it, a story telling, a short grindy track, something with a blast beat, but of course also heavy sludgy doom. Welcome to the house of pain."

DUSTIN LYNCH GETS “NAUGHTY-CAL” AT 10TH ANNIVERSARY CRASH MY PLAYA POOL PARTY

It was a celebration for the ages, as MULTI-PLATINUM star Dustin Lynch hosted a wet-and-wild 10th Anniversary CMP Pool Party at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa 2025 in Riviera Cancún, Mexico, last Friday (1/17).

Themed “LET’S GET NAUGHTY-CAL,” a rowdy mix of nautical vibes, Yacht Rock flow, and college party chaos ensued for the 4K partiers. Making a grand entrance on jet skis with his band, Lynch rode to the beach in style with a parrot on his shoulder. Then, firing up a full-blown parade once he hit the sand, a mariachi band, samba dancers, and fire-blowers joined him en route to the stage to officially kick off the festivities.

Performing two live sets featuring Yacht Rock covers like “September” (Earth, Wind & Fire), “Rich Girl” (Daryl Hall & John Oates), and “Africa” (Toto), among smash hits across his 10 #1s including “Stars Like Confetti,” “Thinking ‘Bout You (feat. MacKenzie Porter),” and latest chart-topper “Chevrolet (feat. Jelly Roll)” (from Killed The Cowboy), Lynch also stunned the packed pool with a surprise guest appearance by fellow BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville labelmate Jason Aldean for a tequila shot toast.

Dressed as the “captain” of the bash, Lynch brought his famed spinning wheel featuring hilarious activities like “Get George Michael'ed” and “Mullet from DL,” alongside awarding prizes for the best-dressed fans in a NAUGHTY-CAL Costume Contest.

Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Teams w/ Norman's Rare Guitars for Auction Benefiting Fire-Impacted CA Shelters

The most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history and one of country music’s most passionate animal advocates, Miranda Lambert, has partnered with legendary guitar dealer Norm Harris of Norman’s Rare Guitars to help Los Angeles area animal shelters with wildfire recovery.

Harris is as widely known for his compassion and generosity as he is for his knowledge of guitars, which is well-attested to in the Netflix documentary “Norman’s Rare Guitars.” He and a close friend have each donated a one-of-a-kind Gibson R9 1959 Les Paul Reissue Custom Shop Murphy Lab guitar for auction to benefit animals.

“The fires have displaced so many people and animals, and I wanted to do something that would immediately help the overcrowded animal shelters,” shared Harris. “When my friend said he wanted to buy one of these guitars – but that he didn’t want the guitar – he wanted to auction it and have the funds go support animals, I jumped right in and said I’d donate one, too. These are two incredibly special guitars, each with a slightly different finish that I hand-selected. The guitars have a value of over $8,000 each, but this is for charity, so I hope people will be generous.”

“Although I haven’t met Norm, I’ve heard about him and his guitar store for years and the next time I’m in L.A., it will be my first stop,” said Lambert. “There’s nothing better than finding another like-minded music and mutt-loving person and I’m really honored that he chose to partner with MuttNation.”

The auction is live HERE through Saturday, January 25 at 5 p.m. CT. 100% of the funds raised from the auction will benefit Los Angeles area animal shelters.

Sphere Deepens Kenny Chesney's Sense of His Own Music

When Kenny Chesney signed on to be only the sixth act and first country artist to play the 17,600-seat Sphere, he understood that he would be re-thinking many aspects of how he and his band would be approaching his iconic live show. With a wrap-around 160,000 square foot screen that extends from the stage across the domed ceiling, as well as sound that can be dialed in almost to the specific seat, the potential to deepen how the songs hit wasn’t lost on the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee.

“I have always said No Shoes Nation is voracious in how they consume our music and the live shows, especially in the stadiums,” Chesney explains. “But now we have the potential with the way this theater is built, along with the super high-definition screen and sound, to almost have the music consume No Shoes Nation. The visuals and the mix will wrap around them, go over their heads and reinforce everything we’re doing on the stage.

“So, it’s not just seeing us, it’s having this whole new super vivid, full immersion way to experience the show, the band and absolutely the songs.”

As he began building the set list for Sphere, Chesney took a long look at his 33 No. 1s, as well as all the multiple week No. 2s and Top 5s, plus the fan favorites that have never been singles – and began thinking about how to build something that would give the concertgoers even more. Needing to shoot content on the patented Big Sky camera, which requires 12 people to operate it, the emotional core and sense of freedom of the songs started to emerge as a theme.

“I have always cut songs that felt real and true to my life,” says the man Wall Street Journal called “The People’s Superstar” of his revelation. “But in really listening, really thinking about what these songs say, I realized: there’s an awful lot of freedom to the songs, whether the narrator or the person being sung about, and an awful lot of facing life on its terms, but realizing you have the power to find the best possible outcome in any situation.

“When we were starting to think about what we should shoot, how to present the songs in this completely consuming environment showed me how much No Shoes Nation has been coming for the joy, but also for the sense that life can be lived fully no matter where you are or what you’re doing. Twenty years into playing stadiums, I’m amazed at the things I’m still learning about the songs I’ve been blessed to sing.”

Sphere is known for its 167,000 individual speakers, which can be dialed in to each section with dazzling specificity, and almost engulfing visual capabilities that deliver over 171 million pixels across the world’s highest-resolution LED screen. When you add in the songs that have defined people’s lives and coming of age in the 21st Century, the potential for the 12-night stand in Las Vegas is abundant.

The Grammy-nominated hit-maker earned the most Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart-more than any other artist- since his debut in 2005, with “songs of small-town living, love and loss that have resonated with a loyal fanbase” (Billboard). With the 2023 release of his 11th studio album, HIGHWAY DESPERADO, and his sold-out nationwide Highway Desperado Arena Tour, Aldean continued his “country superstar status" (Variety). The album earned the Georgia native his first career Hot 100 chart-topping hit with “Try That In A Small Town”- which earned Billboard Award nominations (2023) for “Top Song Sales Artist” and “Top Selling Song”- as well as the fan-favorite track “Let Your Boys Be Country” and current single, “Whiskey Drink.” Produced by longtime producer Michael Knox, Highway Desperado followed Aldean’s double album, MACON, GEORGIA, which earned the singer/songwriter praise for honing “in on his vision for this era of his career” and kicking off “his career's next era” (The Tennessean). BLEED FROM WITHIN - Release Video For New Single 'A Hope In Hell'

Fresh off a monumental tour supporting genre greats SLIPKNOT across the UK and Europe, BLEED FROM WITHIN have released the video for their new single 'A Hope In Hell'. The latest cut from the new album Zenith, which is set for release on the 4th April via Nuclear Blast Records, is a brooding, anthemic slab of the kind of cutting-edge, modern metal that BLEEDhave become synonymous with.

On the new single, the band comment:

"'A Hope In Hell' is one of the more melodic cuts from our latest album and one that we all connected with early in the writing process. The evolution of this song is a great indicator of what we've explored on our latest release; we've pushed ourselves melodically but also found a dark and heavy groove that really underpins our sound. Looking at the lyrics, life doesn't get any easier and everyone you know is dealing with its challenges. We are caught in repeating cycles of adversity and hardship, but our perception can change once we accept that growth is on the other side of such things. Take from that what you will just know that we're rooting for you. Enjoy."

This Gift Is A Curse Ascend into Darkness on New Single

Though they bonded together after a chance encounter, for the past 16 years, This Gift Is A Curse have pushed the confines of underground metal  to violent extremes. On their upcoming fourth album, the Swedish band extend their all-encompassing reign with a cold, hard fist. Heir claims metal's crown of thorns behind an unruly arsenal of hardcore and sludge-encrusted black metal.

Today, This Gift Is A Curse are releasing the second single off Heir. "Ascension" serves as the album's harrowing finisher, summoning the darkness that dwells within us all.

Listen to "Ascension" below.

Heir comes out March 7, 2025 on Season of Mist.

Pre-order & Pre-save

"Ascension" is a post-apocalyptic liturgy that delves into the arcane spectrum of the human soul. This Gift Is A Curse unleash a torrent of blackened riffs, cascading over relentless blast beats that echo the primordial chaos from which all darkness is spawned. Jonas A. Holmberg vocals tear through the soul with a visceral intensity, swallowing you inside a ritualistic trance. Livmødr's Laura Morgan's haunting chants weave through the aural onslaught, providing an otherworldly contrast that beckons the spirit to rise amidst the ashes and transcend into the realm of shadows.

This Gift Is A Curse defies the transient trends of music, instead choosing to carve its path with the bones of the fallen. Their forthcoming album, 'HEIR,' is a relentless pursuit of the extreme, a mosaic of human suffering and the dark beauty that lies within. As the album prepares to sear its mark upon the world, one thing is clear: There will be no heirs to the throne of darkness that This Gift Is A Curse occupies. The crown is theirs alone, forged in the fires of creation and destruction, a beacon for those who dare to walk the shadows.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Daryl Hall is launching his 2025 international touring slate with a series of shows featuring opening act Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze starting March 22nd at the Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas, ending May 25th at the Brighton Centre in the U.K. and including a date at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on May 19th. See full tour dates below.

Tilbrook has previously performed with Hall on his award-winning web series, Live from Daryl’s House. “I’ve toured with Glenn in the past, and I’m a fan of his songs, and it will be great to work with him again,” said Daryl, whose previous tours included acts Howard Jones, Elvis Costello and Todd Rundgren. The format is the same, with Tilbrook performing a solo set in front of the house band to open, then joining Daryl Hall on-stage to close the show.

Added Tilbrook, “I am so excited to be playing with Daryl and his fabulous band this year. After having a blast touring with them in 2021, and re-igniting the flame in Daryl’s House in 2023, I look forward to reuniting with them and playing some of my favorite songs, Daryl songs and some other stuff that you’ll love! Come down and don’t break the furniture.”

After opening night in Houston on March 22nd, Hall and Tilbrook will hit San Antonio, St. Louis and Erie, Pennsylvania, among other U.S. stops before heading over to the U.K. May 17th for dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Brighton as well as the May 19th show at the Royal Albert Hall

Hall also toured with Elvis Costello, and released D, his first solo album in 13 years, co-produced by fellow RHOF inductee Dave Stewart, who co-wrote seven of the nine new original songs, with Hall penning the other two, on Virgin Records.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Blink Once," a thrashy banger that captures the band in live performance mode.

Watch the video, which premiered over at Revolver, below.

"Life moves very fast," says Copozzi, offering insight into the song. "Sometimes relationships grow and last forever, and sometimes relationships shatter into a million pieces and that person becomes a stranger on the street. Some of the people you start out life with usually aren't at the finish line with you. Some of them leave and then come back. Most of the time, you realize the fact that they never filled your cup after you've been filling theirs for years. It's not fun when you realize some of the closest people in your life aren’t actually rooting for you at all. Sometimes they are rooting against you. This song is about exactly that. 'Blink once and you’ll miss me.''"

About the album as a whole, he explains:

"Sonder: The feeling one has on realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one's own, in which they are the central character and others, including oneself, have secondary or insignificant roles.

'Sonder' is a word that has helped me connect a few dots about the lyrical content for this record, after the fact. I owe the title to my oldest brother Danny aka Yogi Reben.  We "stroke philosophy" sporadically over the phone. He's not local to me anymore but we touch base regularly. Over time, I try to be more considerate and understanding of my surroundings. Especially the people — be it strangers or even close friends and family.

"I applied that perspective to the lyrics on this record, which all have different emotional points of views — both mine and others. It's not a concept record, but each song touches upon one another in some way."

ABOUT LOSS BECOMES:
Hailing from Queens and Long Island New York, Loss Becomes are not your typical metal band. Guitarist, YouTuber, and Chef/Owner of Mission Sandwich Social, Brian Tsao, has put together a band like few others. Accompanied by long time friend Will "Doc" Gomez (Johnny Cage is a Fake, Tiger Flowers), Anthony Copozzi (Thracian), Anthony Lopardo (Westfall Recording Company), and Sean Ageman (Washed Up Media), Tsao and his bandmates have shaped Loss Becomes into a unique blend of metalcore with flashes of nu metal, hardcore thrash, and more. Having initially crafted their sound during the depths of the pandemic, Loss Becomes journey hasn't always been an easy one. After several years of hard work, the end product has been unleashed upon the world to critical acclaim. The music is unforgivingly aggressive with Anthony Copozzi’s ferocious enthusiasm heard on every lyric, giving the band what can only be described as a full aural assault. Loss Becomes are hungry and are forgetting their manners. Having performed alongside such acts as Alien Weaponry, Darkest Hour, Dr.Acula, Dying Wish, Extinction AD, Moon Tooth, Norma Jean, Swollen Teeth, and more, the band is no stranger to the stage. Loss Becomes are ready and able to take on all challenges regardless of genre and deliver a crushing live set.
