McCoy Moore Inks Exclusive Booking and Artist Development Deal with The Neal Agency

A songwriter’s songwriter, having already inked with SMACK and Worktape Music for publishing and TRACK mgmt’s Tracker Johnson for management, McCoy Moore announces the expansion of his team today signing an exclusive booking and artist development deal with The Neal Agency (TNA).

The Lakeland, Florida native moved to Nashville in 2020—just over a year after graduating from high school—to pursue a career in music. Moore spent his first few years in town playing as many writers’ rounds as possible, sharing original music and releasing songs independently. Now, his years of hard work are paying off as he hits the studio with Cornman Music/Warner Chappell’s Will Bundy at the helm and looks ahead to live shows with exclusive booking through The Neal Agency.

"I am so excited to work with Austin, Ryan, Evan, and the rest of the TNA family,” 23-year-old Moore enthuses. “When I moved to Nashville from Florida four years ago, I was praying the day would come where I would get to play shows and share the music I love all over the place. This is the best team I could’ve ever hoped for to help further my career.”

“The Neal Agency wants to give every artist every possible tool they need and want to be successful because that’s how much we care about our artists,” shares TNA’s Ryan Beuschel of the agency home to Morgan Wallen, HARDY, ERNEST, Riley Green, Ella Langley, Bailey Zimmerman and more. “We’re honored McCoy is joining TNA as he expands his team,” adds TNA’s Evan Kantor.

Moore says in conclusion, “I can’t wait to see what all we accomplish together in the years to come, and I couldn’t be more pumped to tour and meet everyone out on the road. I’m very grateful for these opportunities and all of my favorite people that are helping me steer this ship.”

NYC's genre-fluid ECCE SHNAK delivers blissfully pensive 'Prayer on Love' single

NYC-based outfit Ecce Shnak presents 'Prayer on Love', the second offering from their forthcoming 'Shadows Grow Fangs' EP, slated for release on February 7 via Record Man, Records. A pensive track, its guitars richly textured, its snare drums rattling, 'Prayer on Love' sees frontman David Roush’s vocals at their most distinctively beautiful. With it, they have shared a video directed by Brooklyn-based cinematographer Milton Walker.

“‘Prayer on Love’ is our most whole-grain rock song to date," says David Roush, "It’s a meditation on the nature of love and its diverse manifestations. It honors the complexity of love without declaring that it ‘is all we need'. The last verse is a celebration of the unique love in each person, all of our flaws notwithstanding: ‘Still my love is a star / Still my love’s a precious opportunity / and a miracle / flowing down the river of consequences and circumstances / and a self-same being.’”

This follows their powerful single 'Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy' about 19th Century English philosopher Jeremy Bentham, combining math-metal, post-rock and choral anthems in just 150 seconds.

Recorded and produced byJeff Lucciat the Art Farm (NY), their debut EP was mixed byNicholas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, The Fiery Furnaces, Dirty Projectors, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs) and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Greg Calbi (John Lennon, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Tom Petty, Todd Rundgren).

If there’s a fine line between wild-eyed, inspired genius and utter, irrepressible insanity, that’s where you’ll find Ecce Shnak, teetering on a neon tightrope. With Roush as composer, bassist, and one of two singers, he is joined byBella Komodromos(vocals),Chris Krasnow(guitar),Gannon Ferrell (guitar), andHenry Buchanan-Vaughn(drums).

This group subverts notions of style, playfully but reverently embracing multiple forms from across the spectrum, frequently within a single tune, while addressing weighty themes and notable trivia with striking articulacy. Roush notes, “Each genre has its own manner of expression, mannerisms, history, motivations, virtues, flaws, limitations, and so on. At my best as a composer and lyricist, I listen to and respect each one, then whatever I take from their souls informs mine, inhabiting it, expanding, and merging.”

'Shadows Grow Fangs' showcases Roush’s incomparable ingenuity and limitless invention over five songs, running the gamut from slow-burning meditations on love’s indispensability to mockery of the web from the perspective of a time-traveling poet – “What the fuck is the internet?!” Of course, this might sound a little ‘zany’, but it’s really not. Not at all. It’s intricately constructed, methodically fashioned, and – while undeniably offbeat – as serious and logical as it’s entertaining.

Talking with Roush is like meeting a thoughtful stranger with extraordinary knowledge of the weird and arcane, a fascination for society and what led us to where we are, and a noteworthy ability to share stories in an enlightening and empathetic manner. Then finally, while you’re still absorbing all the information he’s imparted, he’ll tie the knot to complete this elegant necklace. His narrative style, in fact, is much like listening to an Ecce Shnak song, which frankly makes the band's name perfect. “The meaning,” he concludes is, ‘look at this!’” (‘Ecce’ – Latin for “Behold!”)

The 'Prayer on Love' single is out now, available everywhere from fine music platforms, including SpotifyApple MusicYouTube Music and Bandcamp. The ‘Shadows Grow Fans’ EP will be released on February 7, 2025.

PALEFACE SWISS Unveil New Single & Music Video “LOVE BURNS”

Switzerland’s Paleface Swiss continue their unrelenting march towards the release of their third album, ‘Cursed,’ with the unveiling of their brand-new single, “Love Burns.” Following the intensity of previous tracks “Hatred”, which was recently included in Loudwire’s covetedBest Rock & Metal Songs of 2024’ list and nominated for “Angriest Song of The Year” in Nik Nocturnal’s popular annual awards and “My Blood On Your Hands,” also nominated in Nik Nocturnal Awards 2024 for ‘Best Animal Noise, this latest offering delves deeper into the band’s evolving artistry, balancing their signature heaviness with an emotionally charged narrative. Fans can watch the official music video below and can stream the track on their platform of choice HERE .

“Love Burns” picks up where “My Blood On Your Hands” left off, unfolding a fictional tale of love turned destructive. Opening with the chaotic brutality that fans have come to expect, the track crescendos into a hauntingly melodic conclusion, a move that highlights the band’s growth and willingness to push boundaries. Each track on the band's upcoming album is represented by a different flower, features on the album artwork. “Love Burns” is represented by the Cyclamen—a bloom associated with parting, resignation and saying goodbye.Frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger explains,

“‘Love Burns’ is a combination of the old and new, and it’s a song I’m immensely proud of. The story I want to tell is something everyone can relate to. The concept of the album, in which each flower represents an emotion and a track, makes it all the more cohesive for me.”

The band's upcoming third full-length, ‘Cursed’ is a masterclass in modern brutality and encapsulates two years of creative exploration and raw personal experiences for the Paleface Swiss members. The band retreated to the seclusion of the Canary Islands to craft this sonic juggernaut. Collaborating with Ron Steven Deris at Misueno Studios and with long-time collaborator Florent Salfati (Landmvrks) helping to add the finishing touches, their work culminated in an album that marries the band’s signature heaviness with intricate conceptual storytelling. The first single from the album, “Hatred”, was released in September, delivering the perfect blend of bombastic nu-core swagger, incendiary rapid fire vocals, thrash-inspired guitar solos and the pummeling rhythmic section the band have become globally renowned for. Since release, ‘Hatred’ has hit 877k streams on Spotify alone, with the accompanying music video hitting 250k views.

The release of “Love Burns” comes as Paleface Swiss prepare for their most ambitious touring schedule yet. Their European and UK headline tour kicks off on January 30th, 2025, in their hometown of Zurich, Switzerland, with support from The Acacia Strain and Desolated. Following 27 dates across Europe and the UK, the band will bring their monstrous sound to North America, beginning March 20th in Detroit, MI. Featuring Stick To Your Guns and Nasty, the 30-date US run will hit major cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Tickets and full routing can be found HERE

ABOUT PALEFACE SWISS

Since the release of their first album, 'Chapter 3: The Last Selection', independent outfit, PALEFACE SWISS have gained international recognition throughout the Deathcore and Beatdown Community. Known for their huge, aggressive riffs, brutally bombastic rhythm section, frontman, Zelli's outstanding vocals and a pinch of humor. This is Switzerland’s finest heavy music. Across their catalog, the band have gained 110 million streams, 21 million YouTube views on their own channel, and recently peaked at 1 million Spotify monthly listeners.

Chapter 3: The Last Selection’ was released on October 30th 2020, spawning four huge tracks “Curse Us”, “The Rats”, "Lights Out" and “Skalpell” which quickly ranked high in the beatdown/hardcore charts and saw the band become cover stars on Spotify’s Heavy Beatdown playlist.

In 2022 the band released their second full-length album 'Fear & Dagger'. The album was widely considered a huge step up for the band as plaudits began to roll in for frontman Zelli's vocal ability and the band's unflinching commitment to never shy away from brutally heavy riffs, face-melting technically insane guitar solos, punishing beatdowns or from facing difficult, emotional topics head on. Metal Injectionaccurately summed it up in their review by saying, "It's fun to get caught up in Paleface's unrelenting instrumentals, but Zelli's really the star of Paleface. This is largely because he treats his screams like rap bars." New Transcendence stating "Paleface have created one of the most emotionally relevant and intriguing beatdown releases to date" and Wall of Sound calling it "an unashamedly brutal and angry album".

The album shot the band into the upper echelons of the "New Wave Of Deathcore" and spawned singles "The Orphan", "Deathtouch", "Dead Man's Diary" feat. LANDMVRKS frontman Florent Salfati and fan favourite and stylistic curveball, "My Grave / Lay with Me". The album focused on more mature and critical topics related to the fears and struggles young people have to contend with in the 21st century, most importantly, the topic of mental health.

The ensuing 2 years saw the band's popularity sky-rocket. Honing their craft in the live arena, the band rapidly jumped from strength to strength, creating what is now one of the most thrilling and impactful live shows in modern metal. Their ability to win over any crowd, wether it be their own headline shows, touring the US with the likes of Body Snatcher or The Ghost Inside, touring the UK with the likes of Counterparts and Kublai Khan or at globally renowned festivals such as Sick New World, Hellfest Open Air, Summer Breeze, Cabaret Vert, Dynamo Metal Festival and more, one thing is for sure, Paleface Swiss will turn an audience into fans by the time they're done at every show they play.

To support their largely sold-out touring efforts, the band released a series of stand alone singles, "Best: Before Death" - now a staple and firm fan favourite in their live set list, "Please End Me" and "The Gallow".

Now, with the impending release of their third full-length album, 'Cursed', Paleface Swiss are set to write the next chapter or their incredible, epic journey as they reveal their most thematically and sonically ambitious album to date. Never pulling punches when it comes to heaviness, technicality or emotional vulnerability, Paleface Swiss are rewriting the rulebook on what it means to be an extreme metal band.

Jaye Jayle Share New Track "Bloody Me"

Kentucky-based gothic blues ensemble Jaye Jayle have shared "Bloody Me," the second single taken from their fifth full-length album, After Alter,  set for release on the January 31 through Berlin's Pelagic Records.

Listen to "Bloody Me" below:

Originally formed as an unfiltered outlet for the sounds inside the head of band leader Evan Patterson, Jaye Jayle have always been an unpredictable entity. In the beginning, the songs were short and lighthearted, written on acoustic guitar with no plans to release them or even perform them publicly but, within a year, the private solo project had evolved into a full band and a full-length album: 2016's haunting post-punk, kraut-blues debut House Cricks and Other Excuses To Get Out. Time is indeed a fickle thing, as Jaye Jayle's forthcoming fifth album will attest.

An astounding collection of musical memories and emotional fragments, After Alter is a body of work drawn together from previous recording sessions and previous lives in order to chart a driving, cathartic course into territories unknown. "Bloody Me," the latest track shared from the album is Jaye Jayle's janiform identity made manifest.

Written even before the band's debut album, "Bloody Me" is a bolshy, bass-driven punk rock retaliation to dressing up for Halloween because Patterson is alwaysdressed for Halloween. However, the track appears twice on the record, with a tender solo acoustic retelling cut straight to wax at Third Man Records in Nashville, mere hours before Patterson saw Bob Dylan perform for the first time, bringing the album to an introspective close. Two sides of the same coin; this latest single ferocious and snarling, its symbiotic sister plaintive and bare, but both unapologetically Jaye Jayle.

As this duality of "Bloody Me" shows, After Alter serves as both a document of the band’s history and as a new beginning. By creatively exorcising these poignant moments, Jaye Jayle are opening themselves up to new inspirations and there is already much more to come.

Patterson says, "'Bloody Me' is a testament for those that chose to not live their lives in the stereotype of the capitalistic calendar. I don't need to be told when and how to celebrate the what I love with those that I love. I do my best to celebrate everyday."

After Alter will be released on January 31.

Slomosa 's new LP, 'Tundra Rock' has been hailed as "a sweeping signature hybrid of revved-up stoner rock riffage, grungy hooks, and a concentrated punk wallop". Boasting a brazen backbone of groove-bitten punch and silken melodic hooks heavily inspired by the Palm Desert music scene, Slomosa showcases a hibernating sound that has been reawakened for a new generation.

Dead American Announce New Album "Attention Deficit" + Share "Hate It" Video

Dead American, a four-piece rock group out of Southern California, have announced their new album Attention Deficit. It will arrive on February 14, 2025 via Velocity Records. Pre-save or pre-order it here.

The three songs the band released so far will appear on the new album, as well.

Today, the band has shared the video for the new single "HATE IT." Watch it below.

Dead American are a four-piece rock group hailing from Southern California fronted by vocalist Cove Reber (Saosin). Preceding the album's announcement, the band had released three new singles over the course of the past year, including "Cutting Yourself Out," which Reber described as "one of the darkest songs I've ever written. At its core, this song is about not speaking up. The disconnection we feel from those who love us while being at rock bottom will only get worse if you don’t speak up."

In October 2023, the band unveiled a new single and music video, "ADD." Reber described "ADD" as "about the difficulty of finding balance when your mind is moving a million miles an hour. Sometimes I feel like I'd rather hold my breath than deal with the constant shuffle of thoughts in my head."

In February 2024, the band followed up with more new music in the form of the single "Into Oblivion." The singer stated that it is "a song about the pain of having to restart. Sometimes life feels like a video game and this song to me is like your big brother being a punk and hitting the reset button. Then realizing that it was all meaningless to begin with. I hope that this song can connect with people in a way that makes them excited about life's challenges. We all grow a little more with each nightmare.”"

After two years of touring with acts like The Used, Beartooth, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and others to support New Nostalgia, Dead American are prepping to return with their sophomore album, produced by Joey Bradford of The Used, which will double-down on the "new nostalgia" theme with the band pulling from a time even farther back and fundamental to the member's approach to songwriting.

LUNA KILLS Announce New Album "DEATHMATCH" + Share Video For New Single "sugar rush"

Rising Finnish alt-metal force LUNA KILLS are making waves with the announcement of theird ebut album DEATHMATCH, set for a worldwide release on April 4 via SharpTone Records. DEATHMATCH is a powerful collision of vulnerability and aggression that captures the chaos and conflict within the mind with unflinching honesty. The album's raw and electrifying tracks delve into the complexities of mental health and the longing for escapism. Pre-orders available here

Following the success of their crushing debut single "slay ur enemies," LUNA KILLS are keeping the momentum alive with the release of their second single, "sugar rush." The electrifying track balances ferocious riffs with haunting melodies, capturing the exhilarating highs and devastating lows of chasing fleeting thrills.

The band explains, "'sugar rush' captures the drive to pursue happiness in the face of persistent self-doubt. Centered around the struggle to find happiness despite a constant sense of never measuring up, the song delves into the pressures of a world that demands overachievement and monetization of everything, ultimately draining the joy from passions that once gave life meaning."

Reflecting on the song's creation, the band adds, "At the time, before we started writing 'sugar rush,' we had been working on other songs for a long period of time and we felt really exhausted and after multiple failed attempts of trying to force ourselves to focus, we felt that we needed to reset our brain and mindset. 'sugar rush' became a powerful outlet for all that we were going through, a way to channel exhaustion and frustration with the pressures of perfectionism and constant productivity. The creative process itself almost became a form of catharsis, a reset, allowing us to confront those feelings directly and then transform them into something meaningful."

LUNA KILLS have also revealed an exciting lineup of tour dates and festival appearances, starting with select shows in Finland and culminating in an album release show on April 5, 2025, at On The Rocks in Helsinki. They'll hit the stage both as headliners and in support of notable acts such as Blind Channel and Warmen, bringing their ferocious live energy to fans across Europ

ABOUT LUNA KILLS:
LUNA KILLS are, without a doubt, one of the most refreshing modern metal act in the scene, combining alternative and nu-metal vibes with electronics inspired by game soundtracks. Their frontwoman Lotta, with her jazz singing background and incredible fry scream vocals, brings the audience to their knees — unless they are speeding around in moshpits, as often witnessed in their fiery live shows. Even as newcomers, LUNA KILLS have already opened the door to their beloved gaming world as their music is featured in the hit mobile app Beatstar. The band, first formed in 2019, has now taken their first steps on European stages, gained the attention of multiple rock radios in their native Finland and are moving forward towards their first full-length album with SharpTone Records.

ABDUCTION Release Immersive New Single "Razors of Occam" + Music Video

UK extreme metallers ABDUCTION have released their immersive second single, "Razors of Occam", a gripping prelude to the forthcoming album, 'Existentialismus,' due for release on February 21, 2025, via Candlelight. The track serves as a visceral glimpse into the band’s otherworldly, introspective universe, while its haunting video, directed by Jake Kindred, draws viewers deep into the emotional abyss of ABDUCTION's world.

"'Razors of Occam' is a celebration of the back-breaking labour that our grandfathers and grandmothers endured over the past century to build the houses and systems that maintain our (relative) safety and comfort here in the west', comments vocalist A|V. '"There's more honour in the last gasping breath, spilled forth from a dying old man's chest, than in all the seas of all the tears the younger can conjure. For with one wish, they'd give it all away."

Following their explosive 2022 album, 'Black Blood,' which showcased the band's fiercely expansive sound, ABDUCTION is now poised to push their musical boundaries even further. With many bands currently paying homage to black metal’s glory years and just as many attempting to connect unrelated workings to that legacy, ABDUCTION’s music manages to be both recognizably authentic and imbued with its spirit. And never has this been truer than in the new album, 'Existentialismus'.

Watch the Video for "Razors of Occam"

Having become one of the UK’s most visible black metal acts on the live circuit, bringing their ritualistic and immersive performances to audiences at club shows and festivals such as Damnation, Bloodstock, Incineration, Fortress, Mass Destruction, Samhain, Reaperfest, and Eradication, 'Existentialismushas been recorded, for the first time, as a full band.

“It’s inspired by the juxtaposition of this horrible post-truth era with its contradictions and the simple, metaphorical truths that began in ancient religions of the crumbling past. Somewhere between a biblical gospel and a Nietzschean nightmare. As a father, there’s a particular terror in seeing all that our grandfathers built, physically and morally, being torn apart and reduced to a commodity and wondering what kind of world my son will inherit.”

“I am by no means a philosopher – I desperately lack the patience,” A|V admits. “But my observations of the modern Western humane race have become particularly bleak, and this informs my lyrical writing process. Art as a reaction to life and experience. This is laid out in the first track, ‘A Legacy of Sores’, which posits that most of us here, in the current year, have become an alarming pairing of being both too sensitive and yet without any core beliefs to stand on. (‘Wet skin now paper thin, reveals a core of dust’) I think this is a mixture of a post-religious society and the acceleration of technology to the point at which its claws are deeply in us. Have you tried to live without a smartphone recently?”

'Existentialismus' was recorded and produced by Ian Boult at Stuck On A Name Studios in Nottingham, while the final touches of post-production and mastering were handled by Tore Stjerna (WatainMayhemDeströyer 666) at Necromorbus Studios in Sweden. The striking and immersive cover art is the work of Julia Soboleva.

International Powerhouse Rock Group W.E.T. Return with New Single "Believer" Via Frontiers Music SRL

International powerhouse rock group W.E.T. are thrilled to return with their new single “Believer”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. In addition to the release of the single, a visualizer for "Believer" is available for viewing below.

Guitarist Erik Mårtensson comments on the new single:

"'Believer' was written by Jeff, Robert and myself. Being able to throw ideas and thoughts around between the three of us really took this song from good to great. And having Jamie join us on the drums brought a new flavour to the rhythm section that sets a new standard for W.E.T. We may have to do more of this…”

Stream "Believer" HERE

The acronym W.E.T. comes from the members’ association with other bands, Robert Säll & Andreas Passmark from Work of Art, Erik Mårtensson & Magnus Henriksson from Eclipse and Jeff Scott Soto from Talisman. And now, for the first time ever, the T is emphasized as Talisman drummer Jamie Borger has joined forces with the band’s original core members.

W.E.T. truly epitomizes what melodic rock has become in the new decade. The key element at the foundation of W.E.T. has always been to create a modern melodic hard rock sound that will drive the genre into the future. Combining powerhouse rhythms and top-notch production (courtesy of Erik Martensson), the music is equally classic and contemporary.

Although a side project to the members’ original bands, over the course of the band’s existence, W.E.T. have reconvened regularly over the last 15 years to produce four studio albums and a live record.

Starting with a genre-defining self-titled debut, Robert Säll (the “W” from Work of Art), Erik Mårtensson (the “E” from Eclipse), and Jeff Scott Soto (the “T” from Talisman) accepted the daunting task to give that debut a follow-up, 'Rise Up'. After that stellar follow-up, their third opus, 'Earthrage', cemented a legacy of music which will stand the test of time.'Retransmission', their latest album, is nothing else than an absolute milestone, which is well in keeping with the tradition established by the three amazing records that have preceded this one.

Erik Mårtensson says:

“It’s always a challenge to find that sweet spot in our calendars when we are all available, not to mention the fact that Jeff lives in California and the rest of us in Sweden. But I also believe that adds to our ambition once we are able to gather. We are all aware that we don’t get too many shots at this, so when we do we gotta make it count.”

W.E.T. are:

Jeff Scott Soto - Vocals

Erik Mårtensson – Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards

Robert Säll – Guitars, Keyboards

Magnus Henriksson – Guitars

Andreas Passmark - Bass

Jamie Borger – Drums

Miranda Lambert & MuttNation Foundation Create Idyllwind Award to Honor Equine Rescues

Country music icon and animal advocate Miranda Lambert announces the inaugural Idyllwind Award, to be administered by her MuttNation Foundation, honoring Lucky Break Rescue in Arizona with a $25,000 donation. The Idyllwind Award, named after Lambert’s first horse, Idyllwind Ellund, will annually recognize an outstanding U.S. equine rescue or sanctuary that rehabilitates and/or rehomes horses that have been neglected, abused or abandoned, while also educating the public about the difficult conditions these horses face.

Lambert spoke about MuttNation and the Idyllwind Award at the recent taping of the Boot Barn: VOICELESS fashion show, premiering on Roku December 15 and airing on Hulu in early 2025. Boot Barn is the exclusive retailer of Lambert’s Idyllwind clothing and boot line.

“We’re so excited to be adding this new award to our MuttNation programs,” she shares. “The strong bond that horses form with people is one of the most magical – and caring for horses that have been mistreated takes a very special kind of person. Cait Luca, who started Lucky Break Rescue, is one of the most special I’ve ever known. Her rescue is the perfect choice for this first Idyllwind Award.”

Lambert, widely known as a passionate and celebrated animal advocate, has championed shelter pets her entire life. Her deep affinity and love for horses grew more serious when she began showing in 2014. In 2024, she won a Blue Ribbon at the 2024 Oklahoma State Fair for her Gypsy Vanner horses. She currently owns 7 horses, two mini horses, two dogs, and several cats, goats and chickens.

The Idyllwind Award is administered by the MuttNation Foundation, a donation-supported 501c3 nonprofit.

DAWN OF SOLACE Release Video for "Fortress"; New Album out February 14 on Noble Demon!

Finnish melancholic metal luminaries DAWN OF SOLACE are gearing up for the release of their fourth studio album, "Affliction Vortex", set to arrive on February 14, 2025, via Noble Demon. This highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Flames of Perdition" (2022) promises to be the band's most diverse and powerful offering yet. Released in CD, vinyl LP, and digital formats, the album pre-sale is available at: https://music.nobledemon.com/vortex

Following the release of the first single "Murder", today the band has given a further insight into their forthcoming album with the track "Fortress". The song is accompanied by a brand new music video, which you can watch below:

"Fortress shows a new kind of energy and progression in DoS music," explains mastermind Tuomas Saukkonen (WOLFHEART, BEFORE THE DAWN). "Definitely the most intensive song on the new album and first DoS song ever with a joined effort on lyrics. I teamed up with an Australian poet and his extremely powerful words were like a wind in the sails on the chorus."

Cover art by CJ Winterheart

Formed in 2005 as Tuomas Saukkonen's (WOLFHEART, BEFORE THE DAWN) creative outlet, DAWN OF SOLACE quickly established itself with their debut album, "The Darkness" (2006). Despite a hiatus due to legal complications, the band's loyal fanbase remained unwavering, keeping the flame alive.

A triumphant return came in 2019 with the signing to Noble Demon. This partnership revitalized DAWN OF SOLACE, leading to two successful full-length albums - "Waves" (2020) and "Flames of Perdition" (2022) - alongside an unplugged EP. In early 2024, the band entered the studio, determined to craft their most versatile album yet.

"Affliction Vortex" is the culmination of this creative evolution. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Saku Moilanen at DeepNoise Studios, the album promises to be a dark and captivating journey through the depths of Finnish melancholy.

Croatia's Folk Metal Legion MANNTRA Announce New Album, 'Titans', out February 21, 2025!

Croatia’s finest Folk Metal powerhouse, MANNTRA, brings roaring hymns and swelling horns, announcing their 8th studio album 'Titans,' set for release on February 21, 2025 via Napalm Records! With seven albums already under their belts and a reputation forged on stages like the mighty Wacken Open Air and tours with legends like German Folk mainstays In Extremo, MANNTRA has proven themselves as a tour de force in the metal world. 'Titans' is another testament to their unstoppable momentum, blending ancient tradition with modern sounds to create something truly unforgettable.

Giving insight on their latest onslaught, today, MANNTRA release their first single, a tribute to YouTube phenomenon Miracle Of Sound, an explosive cover of “Skal”. This high-octane track is a resounding toast to unity, revelry, and the timeless power of music. With their signature fusion of raw metal riffs, traditional folk instrumentation, and industrial elements, MANNTRAdelivers an electrifying rendition of this modern classic, turning it into a full-fledged anthem for warriors, dreamers, and partygoers alike. Rooted in the band’s unique soundscape, “Skal” is a riot of pounding drums, razor-sharp guitars, and soulful pipes, seamlessly blending raucous energy with melodic folk charm, showcasing MANNTRA’s ability to bridge worlds with their masterful songwriting. Whether you’re a metalhead, a folk enthusiast, or simply someone who loves a good party, this track will have you raising your glass and stomping your feet.

MANNTRA on the new single “Skal”:

“’Skal’ is the first single from our upcoming album 'Titans.' We chose to cover this song by Miracle Of Sound because it captivated us from the first listen and already embodied the MANNTRA vibe. It felt like a song we could have written in a parallel reality. While we typically don’t do covers, this one perfectly aligns with the energy and themes of the album!”

Watch the Official Music Video for “Skal (Miracle Of Sound Cover)”

Upcoming Folk Metal Heroes MANNTRA Unleash Relentless Energy on 'Titans'!

Formed in 2012 around mastermind Marko Matijević Sekul, the band has proven to be extremely productive as 'Titans' is already their eighth studio album. Over the years the quintet developed their trademark sound by combining raw metal riffs and hard-hitting industrial sounds with traditional folk instruments, unleashing a relentless storm of catchy metal hymns. MANNTRA’s high-energy soundscape is skillfully built by supposed opposites: authentic folk instruments like pipes and mandolins interwoven with raspy male vocals and an uplifting industrial metal sound. With their newest masterpiece, they clearly take no prisoners as the album sets off with the title track “Titans” delivering forceful rhythms and powerful drumming. This continues on tracks like “Higher” or “Riders In The Dawn” kicking off with strong intros. Like no other, MANNTRA effortlessly manages to transport the ancient tunes into modern times by combining its folk elements with synths like on “My Sandman” or the album closer “Nav” delivering massive melodies.

But MANNTRA also stay true to their roots with "Teuta” telling the story of a legendary Illyrian queen who reigned in Croatia around 200 BC and “Unholy Water (Voda)” containing a catchy chorus and intense female folk vocals delivering a hymn-like melody with lyrics partly in Croatian. The same can be witnessed in the extremely groovy and catchy “Heart Of The Storm” while uplifting “Skal” is a song to get every folk party started. A clear highlight is the combined songs “Forgotten Pt.1” and “Forgotten Pt.2” which are true industrial metal masterpieces that seamlessly cross genres, heavily leaning towards electronic elements, while maintaining their very own soundscape.

Overall 'Titans' convinces with an enormous hit density and sets a clear mark, delivering proud hymns and in-your-face metal songs that are undeniable, proving that MANNTRA is on the very top of their game, ready to enter the next level of their promising journey!

Masters Of Metal Parody NANOWAR OF STEEL Program Addictive Hit “Helloworld.java” with New Source Code Video

Masters of comedic heavy metal NANOWAR OF STEEL strike again with their latest track, "HelloWorld.java," a standout addition to their legacy of absurdly brilliant music. This tongue-in-cheek masterpiece merges headbanging riffs with a programmer’s worst (and funniest) nightmares. The band’s new live album, 'XX Years Of Steel', drops this Friday, December 6 via Napalm Records!

Paying homage to the world of coding, "HelloWorld.java" combines sharp wit, infectious melodies, and clever references to programming culture. The lyrics, written in Java programming language, should be translated at the listener’s own risk. The brand-new song is now available on all streaming platforms and comes with a stunning source code video. Perfect for programmers who headbang and headbangers who program!

NANOWAR OF STEEL on the new single "Helloworld.java":

“/* HelloWorld.java is the first executable song written in the ancient and

 * epic java programming language.

 * This is an open source song, and you can download the source code from

 * our GitHub repository:

 * https://github.com/NanowarOfSteel/HelloWorld */”

NANOWAR OF STEEL on their album release on this Friday:

“Never in the history of NANOWAR OF STEEL has there been an album so new and so old at the same time. 'XX Years Of Steel' combines the greatest hits of our past, performed live at Alcatraz, Milan as well as the most mediocre hits of our future: B-Sides, Covers, and Re-recording of previously recorded songs. Just enough to justify a Bonus Disc which you might want to miss!”

Two decades of epic riffs, hilarious twists, and metal mayhem

With millions of cross-platform streams and views on their hilariously entertaining music videos, NANOWAR OF STEEL has captivated audiences worldwide with their multilingual talent, distinctive blend of humor, and cultural insight. 'XX Years of Steel' kicks off with a tongue-in-cheek Italian introduction that humorously reinterprets the Book of Genesis, setting the stage for a night full of metal mayhem and laughter. Fans can expect live renditions of the band’s most iconic tracks, such as "Norwegian Reggaeton," which sees Charly Glamour (Gigatron) adding his explosive energy to the reggaeton-infused metal anthem. The crowd’s electric enthusiasm reaches its peak during "Valhalleluja", where Odin himself (Thomas Winkler of Angus McSix) leads the charge, and during "Uranus" with fans’ chants echoing through the venue.

Adding to the excitement, 'XX Years of Steel' introduces two brand-new tracks, including "Stormwarrior Of The Storm" and the innovative "HelloWorld.java", inspired by the history of coding - offering a playful yet complex narrative that showcases the band’s versatility. The new offering also blends special cover versions such as popular German party hit "Das Rote Pferd", the hilarious Iron Maiden parody "Afraid to Shoot into the Eyes of a Stranger in a Strange Land" and the sudatory "Armpits Of Immortals", enhanced from the likes of Ross The Boss (Manowar).
