WATAIN - Release Video For 'Ecstasies In Night Infinite (Live)'

Ruthless Swedish black metal collective WATAIN has shared a second single from the upcoming live album, Die In Fire - Live In Hell, out November 3rd 2023 through Nuclear Blast Records. The live version of 'Ecstasies in Night Infinite', the ferocious opening track of WATAIN's latest album, The Agony And Ecstasy Of Watain, coincides with the release of another music video for the single, once again directed by Johan Bååth.

Erik Danielsson commented:

”With the videos for the live album we have attempted to convey at least a fraction of the primal psychedelic malevolence that possess us when we perform.

The majority of the footage is from the same concert in Stockholm at which the album was recorded. It was then slaughtered and remolded by the skilled and manic artists credited at the end of the video. Turn off your mind, shut out the modern world and dissappear into these analogue nightmare visions of darkness and ecstasy.”

JOHN LODGE, LEGENDARY BASS PLAYER SONGWRITER AND VOCALIST OF THE MOODY BLUES ANNOUNCES FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2024 US TOUR DATES

The Moody Blues’ John Lodge Performs “Days of Future Passed”
Playing the iconic album in its entirely
Plus a selection of CLASSIC HITS

John Lodge
Vocalist, Songwriter and Bass Player in the Moody Blues

John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, will be back on tour in February and March 2024 in the USA! Following the critically acclaimed sold out shows this year, John is continuing in his celebration of ‘The Moody Blues’ music, and the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed.'

‘Performs Days of Future Passed’ encompasses a first set of electric Moodies classics featuring all the fan favourites such as ‘Isn’t Life Strange’, ‘Legend of a Mind’, ‘I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)’, ‘Ride my See-Saw’, and so much more. The second set will see John and his band perform the groundbreaking album ‘Days of Future Passed’ in its entirety and in full symphonic sound. There are exciting changes from the original show, with new classic songs and deep cuts, enhanced video and dazzling lighting, all coming together to make a very special evening of great music and Moodies memories…. Come take a journey back in time with John and his 10,000 Light Years Band as they create audio alchemy for your listening and visual pleasure!

As Beneath a Desert Sky said, 'a must see show if you love classic progressive rock music or The Moody Blues music.'

Tickets go on sale from Friday 13th October, with VIP packages also available including a personal Video Message from John, autographed poster, tote, laminate and exclusive merch item! All ticket links at
www.johnlodge.com/tour.

The show also features a special video and recording by the late, and missed, Graeme Edge of his poems ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Late Lament’. Graeme wrote these poems for the album, but they were originally spoken by Mike Pinder. John asked Graeme to record them so that he could always be on stage with him. Jon Davison of YES also joins John to perform the classic songs, “Nights in White Satin” and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’. Jon is John’s son-in-law and great friend, having originally met back in 2019 on the ‘Royal Affair’ Summer Tour with YES, Asia, John and Carl Palmer.

“The show came about following conversations with Graeme, Alan (Hewitt) and Jon (Davison)… This album and these Moody Blues songs changed our lives, they may even have changed the fans lives, and I felt they deserved to still be heard and experienced live as they were originally intended. My hope is that coming to one of my shows, you can close your eyes and we can all take a moment to turn back the clock as we celebrate this music together. Alan, Jon, and my band have done an incredible job in realizing my vision. It was always important to me to remain true to the original whilst at the same time use modern sound and all the wonderful new technology to reveal the richness of these songs. The tour, as with the album, is dedicated to Graeme, Justin, Ray and Mike, and to every fan, whether they joined back in 1967, or on any day since”

‘Days of Future Passed’ was released 56 years ago, and was arguably the start of progressive rock. These songs began the long standing cross-over between rock and classical music, and the Moody Blues shows were always known for recreating this incredible sound, and for the wonderful atmosphere. John has surrounded himself with a band that are equally passionate, who put simply, love performing together, and who appreciate and respect the legacy of the music.

The electrifying show will also be in support of John’s album ‘Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn’, available now on CD and all streaming services, with a limited edition 180g Red Gold vinyl album available from Nov 24th:
https://slinky.to/DaysOfFuturePassed

Dino Ciliberti recently reviewed one of John’s shows and said “to hear this one more time just shows the magic of music and an album that will always stand the test of time”, and Gary Graff, “a loving and precise recreation”. Come and be taken back to the live Moody Blues shows of the past, with songs you love, featuring John Lodge, and tributes to all his bandmates.

Joining John on stage is his ‘10,000 Light Years Band’, long term collaborator Alan Hewitt (Music Director and Keyboards) and Billy Ashbaugh (Drums) from the Moody Blues touring band, together with Duffy King (Guitars) and Jason Charboneau (Cello). Jon Davison of YES will also be joining him for his special renditions of ‘Nights in White Satin’ and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, plus the magical voice of Graeme Edge. “Every time we hit the stage, I appreciate just how great this music is. I love to watch how much the John Lodge/ Moody Blues fans go on a musical journey with us during our shows." Alan Hewitt, Oct 2023.

‘If you love The Moody Blues music, then you really need to checkout John live. He and the band put on a great show!’

John Lodge is bass guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for the iconic Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2018 inductees, The Moody Blues. Songwriter of such mega Moody Blues hits from “Ride My See-Saw,” to “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock and Roll Band),” “Isn’t Life Strange” and many more. Lodge has been performing and recording with The Moody Blues for more than five decades, selling in excess of 70 million albums, as well as releasing his three solo albums ‘Natural Avenue’, ’10,000 Light Years Ago’ and ‘B Yond’.  Lodge has been voted one of the “10 most influential bass players on the planet,” and has been the recipient of many awards, including ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Publishers), an Ivor Novello Award, a Lifetime Achievement Award from Prog Magazine, to name just a few.

Texas Hippie Coalition Release Video For "Hard Habit"

Heavy Southern Rock band Texas Hippie Coalition releases a new video for their track "Hard Habit," which is featured on the band's riff-heavy, recent album, The Name Lives On. The video was directed by David Parada, and sees the band enjoying the spoils of touring, including a stop at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally earlier this year.

Texas Hippie Coalition is often compared to the many great Southern Rock and Texas bands that came before them.  But they are proving to the world that THC is not just following in their footsteps, they are leaving giant footprints.  THC has etched out a place for themselves in the multi-genre fields of music, and have also created their own genre, "Red Dirt Metal."  You have to hear it to understand it.  Words are not enough to convey how powerfully big their sound is.

American Teeth Release "Green Thumb"

American Teeth, the sonic alter ego of Elisha Noll, has shared "Green Thumb."

The track is the latest in a flurry of highly personal and deeply impactful tracks from American Teeth. In the summer, he shared "Hospital" and "Waiting Room," two new vulnerable tracks that told the story of his complicated relationship with and losing his father.

American Teeth's latest release "Green Thumb" digs deep into the heart of self-therapy through the lens of gardening. With a rich family history rooted in farming and a personal connection to cultivating life, this track is a moving testament to the power of nature to heal the soul. "Green Thumb" blossoms with emotion, offering listeners a musical sanctuary for growth and reflection.

"Growing up, my dad always spent time working in the garden," American Teeth says. "I would join him sometimes, and noticed it was one of his outlets for self-care. A form of meditation. I fill my home with plants, so I'm a self-proclaimed green thumb. I feel like it's one way I connect with him now that he's gone."

Watch the visualizer below.

Noll has quickly risen in the ranks as in-demand songwriter. Check out this playlist of songs he has worked on for The Jonas Brothers, Nessa Barrett, Illenium, 5 Seconds of Summer, and more.

DON BROCO Drop "Birthday Party (Party in the U.S.A Remix)" Feat. Their North American Tourmates

REMIX FEATURES GUEST VOCALS FROM CURRENT NORTH AMERICAN TOURMATES THE HOME TEAM, RYAN OAKES, SKYLER ACORD, AND THE COLOR 8

Are you ready to party with DON BROCO? Hell yes, you are. Only DON BROCO could craft a song about no one bothering to show up at a bday fete sound like a smashing good time, which is exactly what they did with their new hit single "
Birthday Party."

With cheeky lyrics that bemoan the concept of another trip around the sun and throwing a little soiree where no one even bothers to show up, the accompanying sonics shimmer and shine with synths, cadenced and perfectly processed vocals, and a good time vibe. Who cares if everyone blows off your party when you can shake your booty to this neo-nu-wave-influenced, funkdafied "Birthday Party?" The song is skittery, genre-bending electro-blast of crunching beats and distorted guitars and it's topped off with vocalist Rob Damiani's ennui-drenched vocals.

But now, the band has taken an already bangin' track and upped the ante tenfold by inviting their current North American tourmates The Home Team, Ryan Oakes, Skyler Acord, and The Color 8 to contribute vocals on a killer remix of the song.

This party just evolved into a full-on rager!

Stream "Birthday Party (Party in the U.S.A. Remix)"
here.

Damiani previously said this about the song: "Birthdays can be the absolute worst. You get all hyped up for what you think is a guaranteed top day, but when that doesn't work out you can't help but feel EXTRA bad. I don't really like birthdays because of this, but one year tried throwing a last min shindig and in classic form it was not well attended, haha. I can't say I took it well but my only option was having a party for one and this song is the story of that night."

Don Broco are currently on tour in North America. All dates are below, with several dates having sold out in advance.

Darius Rucker Performs on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” as New Album 'Carolyn’s Boy' Connects

With the Tennessean highlighting “his best comprehensive country music work” on brand new album Carolyn’s Boy, Darius Rucker celebrated its release with a rousing performance of “Have A Good Time” on last night’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Watch Below and listen to the full project HERE.

Rucker considers the album, his sixth country project and first since 2017, to be his most personal to date, something he credits to taking the past six years to hone the songs and, in turn, reestablishing his passion for making music.

“The album’s meat involves Rucker finally getting to the core of country’s stereotypical three chords and the truth,” acknowledges the Tennessean of that process, with Rucker explaining, “I had a lot of therapy with myself on this record, which allows me to show the world how much I view making music, internally, as a therapeutic outlet for saying what I feel and think.”

“For Carolyn’s Boy, I talked to some of the best songwriters in town about so many of my authentically lived experiences,” he continues. “I feel like I’m finally comfortable doing what I’m supposed to do as a country music artist.”

Named for his late mother, Carolyn, who encouraged his love of country music from a young age, the album pays tribute to the woman whom Rucker told Willie Geist on this week’s “Sunday TODAY” is the reason for everything he is; “She taught us to be nice, she taught us to care, she taught us to give back, she taught us to always be the best person you can be.”

“Now that I’m a dad, three times over with grown kids, I just wanted to pay tribute to my mom who never got to see any of this stuff, any of this success,” he explained to the Associated Press, noting that – while there are somber moments – he hopes the project as a whole epitomizes her joyful personality: “it should sound like a celebration.”

“The thing I love is seeing her picture,” Rucker noted to Forbes of the album’s cover. “She’s 25 in that photo and it’s my favorite picture of her. Having my record named after her, and having her photo all over social media, I love it. I know she’s somewhere laughing and saying, ‘Boy, stop!’”

From recent No. 1 hit “Beers And Sunshine,” his 10th to top the Country charts, to current single “Fires Don’t Start Themselves,” lauded by Billboard for “the impressive vocal control and power in his lower register,” and his latest release, “Southern Comfort,” described by Garden & Gun as “evok[ing] a wistful nostalgia that has become one of Rucker’s calling cards,” the project honoring Carolyn Rucker features 14 tracks, 11 of which boast Rucker as a cowriter.

Some of the notable cowriters joining him on the project include global superstar Ed Sheeran for the reflective “Sara,” penned during a trip to London and celebrated by People as “a mid-tempo rumination on the hopes of seeking friendship and comfort in a long-lost connection;” reigning ACM Artist/Songwriter of the Year HARDY for the longing “3am in Carolina;” longtime friend and Lady A vocalist Charles Kelley for the despairing “7 days;” and Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne on “Never Been Over,” with Billboard noting Rucker “sings expertly on this track… bolstered by discreet, serene pedal steel and mandolin.”

In addition, the album sees Rucker join forces with Chapel Hart for the collaborative “Ol’ Church Hymn” while also offering his take on Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” from blockbuster film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with MusicRow summarizing his rendition as “beautifully produced, spiritually uplifting and soul stirring. It builds to anthem-level intensity before receding into an intimate prayer. Essential.”

The album also features vulnerably insightful songs such as “Sure Would Have Loved Her,” “Stargazing,” while offering uplifting reminders to a divided world on tracks such as “In This Together,” “Same Beer Different Problem” and “Have A Good Time.”

Having shared the new music with fans across the country all summer on his
Starting Fires Tour, which concludes its North American stretch tomorrow evening in Nashville, Rucker is also gearing up to take his wide-ranging catalog of hits across the pond with a recently announced run of European tour dates in early 2024.

BOURBON HOUSE to Release New Single, “Runnin’ Hot,” on FRETBARD RECORDS!

BOURBON HOUSE is set to release their new single, “Runnin’ Hot,” on FRETBAR RECORDS, Friday Nov 17th. Captivating vocals with a driving rock feel makes “Runnin’ Hot” by BOURBON HOUSE one of the best female fronted releases of 2023!

“BOURBON HOUSE has made a statement with their new single 'Runnin’ Hot.' I feel as if I’m being told to watch, pay attention because this band and this song, is 'Runnin’ Hot.' FRETBAR RECORDS is ecstatic to have Bourbon House on our roster and to be working with what we feel is one of the best up and coming rock bands in the country.” - JIMMY WARREN (President, FRETBAR RECORDS).

Founded in 2017 by vocalist Lacey Crowe and guitarist Jason Clark, Bourbon House are a modern rock ‘n’ roll band whose music is heavily inspired by their timeless predecessors Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Bad Company, to name a few. Following up their first album was Wild Abandon (2018), Into The Red (2021) and their most recent release, The Fourth Album (2023).

Managing themselves under their own label, Steel Jacket Records, Bourbon House have been on an upward trajectory since their debut. They made Classic Rock Magazine's "Hot List" with a full page feature, were named one of 15 Rising Rock Bands by acclaimed music journalist Matt Wake, climbed Matt Pinfield's Weekly Rock Countdown, and have been invited to perform at several music festivals this year.

At the center of Bourbon House's music are Crowe's unique blues-rock vocals and Clark's gritty, bluesy guitar riffs. Their music is honest and their love for the human aspect of pure rock 'n' roll, as well as the desire to create an escape within their music, is the driving force behind their prolificity.

With more music to follow the release of The Fourth Album, festival slots, and their need to be in a continuous mode of creation, Bourbon House are poised for a strong presence in 2023.

In the summer of 2023, Bourbon House signed to FRETBAR RECORDS.

Kingcrow Signs with Season of Mist

Season of  Mist is proud to welcome Kingcrow to the family!

The first incarnation of the band was originally founded in Rome, Italy, during the late '90s by brothers Diego Cafolla & Manuel Thundra Cafolla under the name Earth Shaker.

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven", the band then changed their name to Kingcrow. Since then, they've put out seven albums and an EP. Now that they've signed to Season of Mist, Kingcrow is ready to shake the world of progressive music with their upcoming new album.

"We are thrilled to announce that we signed a deal with Season Of Mist for the release of Hopium", says Kingcrow. "It is very exciting to have signed to such a label, always at the forefront of innovation when it comes to metal music".

More announcements about Hopium are coming soon!

Line-up:

Diego Cafolla (Guitars, Keyboards, Backing Vocals)
Ivan Nastasi (Guitars, Backing Vocals)
Riccardo Nifosì (Bass)
Thundra Cafolla (Drums, Percussion)

The first incarnation of the band  was originally founded in Rome, Italy, by brothers Diego Cafolla (guitars) and Manuel Thundra Cafolla (drums) under the name of "Earth Shaker".

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's poem "The Raven" and driven by a will of change, the band's name was soon altered into Kingcrow and a couple of self-produced demos/albums where recorded under the Kingcrow moniker : Something Unknown(2001), Insider (2004) and Timetropia (2006).

In the early months of 2010 the band finished recording their new album “Phlegethon” that was released in june of the same year under the “Scarlet Records” label.

It was considered on an international level as a relevant masterpiece and was classed as one of the elite prog metal albums of the year. It has been near the top of the “album of the year” charts in some international prog-rock websites. Phlegethon promotion lasted for about two years and a half.

During the same year, the band recorded the new album “In Crescendo” that was released in February 2013 by the American label “Sensory Records

The band toured  along with Pain Of Salvation in North America  in April and May, 2013. In 2015 the band released the album “Eidos” and toured Europe as Headliners.  Meanwhile Kingcrow signed a management deal with GlassVille Music, house of very well known progressive acts like Pain Of Salvation and Riverside among others.

The band recorded the new album titled “The Persistence”.

The album was released on September 7th via Sensory Records and received great reviews and ended on a lot of “best of 2018” lists on magazines and webzines.

The upcoming album “Hopium” marks another step forward in pushing boundaries remarking the restless progressive  attitude of the band in incorporating countless influences into a personal sound.

Describing the band today is quite a difficult task, but one could state that the influence of different kinds of music, from progressive rock , ambient music, alternative rock and metal are all present in the music of Kingcrow.

With each release Kingcrow has taken a step further away from their original roots and is regarded today as one of the most exciting bands that Italy has to offer.

San Francisco's OCTAVIAN WINTERS release debut EP 'The Line or Curve', oscillating between shadow and shimmer

"Capturing progressive sounds and thoughts, weaving them together in a dark and lush tapestry of near-classic post-punk, oscillating between shadow and shimmer. Reflecting the troubled times that we live in, sublime dark sonic delight" ~ The Spill Magazine

"Feels like it was recorded in a studio deep beneath the earth, drawing power from subterranean caves and bubbling magma. There’s tectonic thunder in the pounding drums and rumbling bass... Such power, strong and true, a voice that scales the wall of sound beneath her with ease" ~ Joyzine

"A dark musical weave forged of post-punk and gothic strands. A sonic web that is a neat blend of pulsing bass grooves and shaded ethereality, dark and delicious guitar slashes, and haunting sound washes" ~ The Big Takeover

"Seriously compelling incitement, which Aursjoen’s tones and the electronically atmospheric mists around her only escalate" ~ Ringmaster Review

San Francisco post-punk outfit
Octavian Winters presents their debut album 'The Line or Curve', released via Stratis Capta Records with 'Velveteen' as the focus track. The band has also released a video for the latest single 'Surreal'.

Born into the ghostly isolation of San Francisco in 2022 and drawing from darkwave and post-punk traditions, Octavian Winters dives into the ethereal, their layered music counterpointing edged grooves alongside lush synth textures and soaring vocal harmonies. In the lead up to the album, the band released the singles
'Undertow' and 'Ondine'.

Recorded in San Francisco by
Mark Pistel (Meat Beat Manifesto, Consolidated) at OW Studio and Room 5 Recording, this EP was produced by Octavian Winters and William Faith (The Bellwether Syndicate, Faith and the Muse, Christian Death, The March Violets), whose credits include Jarboe, Clan of Xymox, Bootblacks and Autumn, Faith also mixed and mastered the album at 13 Studio in Chicago.

Octavian Winters is guitarist Stephan Salit (Thrill of The Pull), drummer Randy Gzebb (Thrill of The PullLove Club,), bassist Jay Denton and Ria (Amenti) Aursjoen on vocals and keyboards. Together, they weave their visceral and ethereal sound into a texture all its own – of stories once told but half-remembered, under a dusk of shadows and stars, in an abandoned city under the winter moon.

“This record is very special to me as this was a totally different experience – putting a group of well-respected musicians together and starting the writing process in the middle of a pandemic, when the world was in isolation and in a state of shock. I think the whole feeling with everyone working ideas out together produced a special vibe when we got together and started writing the songs. I would start off with a drum groove and everyone started adding their ideas. After working out the ideas out with little back and forth, we started recording demos, which sounded like finished tracks without the polish you get when tracks a have been through the mixing phase,” says Randy Gzebb.

“This record is a powerful mix of ethereal, shoegaze and darkwave genres, which came naturally when we started writing the record. Each song has a slightly different feel from start to finish. The opening track ‘Ondine’ opens the record to both prepare and excite the listener, summing the emotions and leaving some of what’s coming to the imagination. There are many shades of music here. Everything is so richly textured and weaves through this ethereal powerful element.”

This album is about coming to terms with isolation and loss in various forms, touching on themes that the whole world has dealt with face to face for the past few years – feelings and repercussions that have left a deep imprint on all of us. The music and lyrics are a natural extension of these emotions and thoughts, bubbling under the surface.

“The name of the record – ‘The Line or Curve’ – references the idea of symbols and sigils, which are intricate collections of lines and curves. They are expressions, arrangements or gateways of energy and if correctly drawn they may invoke and transform. But the configuration of lines and curves is vital; if not right, a sigil is useless and has no power. So at each point you are choosing whether to draw a line, or a curve,” says Ria Aursjoen.

“But it is also metaphor for the choice we have of our world view. It references geometries. In one geometric system the shortest path is a line. But in a curved space the shortest path is a curve. We can describe the world through either geometry. So, which way of looking at the world do we choose?  This brings us back to the theme of separation and disconnection; the past few years have unearthed such deep divides over different world views that there is often no desire to attempt reconnection. My hope is that we will come to appreciate the common shapes expressed in our different geometries, our different world views.”

Each member of Octavian Winters brings their own rich musical tapestry to the collective and have shared the stage with many iconic acts over the years, including Nine Inch Nails, Killing Joke, Lords of the New Church, Savage Republic, Christian Death, The Frozen Autumn, Everything Goes Cold and Black Tape for a Blue Girl.

'The Line or Curve' EP is out digitally on October 13, including via
Apple MusicSpotify and Bandcamp. On October 31, they play San Francisco's Bottom of The Hill (with Dead Souls and The Reptile House) and Sacramento's Cafe Colonial (with Ashes Fallen) on November 8.

Kill The Lights Share Video for New Single "Scapegoat"

Kill The Lights, which features former members of Bullet for My Valentine, Throw the Fight, Threat Signal, and Still Remains, have dropped the video for new single "Scapegoat." Watch it below.

It follows "
Hear You Scream," which dropped in the summer. Watch the video here.

Classic and modern metal styles collide "Scapegoat." The band storms out of the gates from the opening note, while galloping, noodly riffs kick the song into high gear, with the lyrics delivered in a savage, hell bound style. Guttural roars give way to an utterly pretty clean and melodic style with seamless ease, and it effectively shows just how brutal Kill The Lights are. "Scapegoat" is utterly mosh-tastic!

"'Scapegoat' discusses the feeling of being trapped in your own head, believing that there is no escape or place that you can turn to for help," the band explains. "The constant cycles of self-doubt, anger, and depression eat away at your confidence and willingness to make changes. It's like your setting yourself up to fail — always choosing the path with the most negative outcomes or most toxic situations."

LYLVC Premiere "Crawl Space" Video at New Noise + Touring This Fall

CLEAN VOCALIST ALYSE ZAVALA TALKS DON'T FORGET THE LYRICS!

Opening with the words "Smile fake beaten, I can't evolve," LYLVC have delivered the ultimate hard-hitting, emotional track with "Crawl Space." Now being streamed exclusively by New Noise Magazine, head over to hear the full single, grab new LYLVC tour dates, and hear about how clean vocalist, Alyse Zavala, killed it as a contestant on FOX's
Don't Forget The Lyrics!

Watch the "Crawl Space" video below.

Reflecting on creating "Crawl Space," Zavala offered the following on its origin story: "Unfortunately some people in this world are treated as less than human, or treated as if their death doesn't matter compared to other people. Some people are bullied or abused, kicked when they are down, and have just had an extremely rough experience with life and opportunities in general. It's not uncommon for many of these people leaving those abusive situations to end up in other abusive situations that have different scenery, but still bad for them. I have had times in my life, especially during my childhood, when I was treated pretty inhumanely. As I went from a bad situation or 'prison' to another bad situation/prison, I struggled with wondering if my death would even matter to anyone. 'How can I survive in a world that doesn't care if I'm alive?' I was able to overcome my personal traumas and somehow landed an extremely successful career, but I still struggle sometimes with feeling paralyzed if my life really matters to anyone or if I'm still the lost little girl stuck in a crawl space."

Zavala continues, "LYLVC wrote this song with Tyler Connolly of the band Theory of a Deadman. It was amazing working with him and Mike Plotnikoff and feeling like they were open-minded to us writing this story without judgment. We wanted this song to be extremely vivid and gut-wrenching, without feeling censored, and Mike and Tyler empowered us to use words with powerful imagery without making us edit the language down. It's powerful, it's catchy, and it's real."

See this and LYLVC’s recently released tracks including, "Into Nothing," "Perfect Drug," and "Undertow" on the road, as the sextet embarks on a fall tour around the U.S. with other modern rock favorites Pop Evil and Fame on Fire. Tour dates are below.

A lyricist and performer to the fullest, Alyse was recently voted to be a contestant on FOX's Don’t Forget The Lyrics!; the show that requires participants to sing along to tracks and fill in the missing lyrics when the music cuts out. Hosted by the beloved Niecy Nash, Alyse walked away from the show with $25,000 of winnings and one hell of a story to tell.

Thinking back on her FOX debut, Alyse asserts, "I wasn't really nervous, but I also didn't have any time to study at all. I had to fly to film this episode right before our tour with Atreyu earlier this year, so I mostly just hoped to get songs that I would actually know. I was worried that I would open a category with two songs I have never heard of before, and what can you really do when that happens? I told myself that I would just accept my fate and focus on having fun no matter what the song choices were. Niecy Nash was super supportive and funny, and cracked a lot of computer hacker jokes with me off-camera about my day job. I had a blast and everyone off the set was so much fun and kept commenting on my lilac hair and asking about our band, LYLVC. The film crew actually had a technical glitch while they were filming me, and they had to reboot the computer. I swore that it wasn't me... lol."

Catch this emotive hacker and the rest of LYLVC at a venue nearest you! Their performances kick off on October 28 in Arkansas and prove to be as alive and creative as their music videos, mimicking their real lives and big-time personalities. This is an alt-rock band that truly comes alive on stage, giving their all in every city, every state.

HourHouse Announce "Gold Tooth Guru" Album + Share "LSD" Video

NOLA-based genre-smashers HourHouse know all about the hard graft and building something from nothing.

Raised in an array of Louisiana parishes circling New Orleans, the quintet — vocalist Milly, guitarist and vocalist Nick "Neeco" Trahan, drummer Robb Barrio, bassist Travvy Thomas, and guitarist Mattie Cortopassi — found their way to each other via shared loves of (depending on who you ask) nu metal and hip-hop, horror films and country music, anime and streetwear, skateboarding and NFL, Meshuggah and…. Nickelback. A diverse buffet of influence, some might even say a mismatch, but it's this very diversity that forms the creative heart beating at HourHouse's very core.

Today, the band announces its debut album GOLD TOOTH GURU, which arrives November 10 via UNFD. Pre-save it
here.

HourHouse also shared the video for "LSD." Watch it
below and stick around to find out what happens after an epic (Hour)House Party!

"Nothing is what it seems. You control everything just look inside yourself," says Milly about the song and visual.

It's got all the swagger and style, the riffs and the rhymes — just like the rest of the album, which is full of crunchy, buzzsaw guitar attacks, plate-shifting breakdowns, trap beats, and 808 grooves. Keeping on top of it all, lead vocalist Milly oscillates effortlessly between raw, untamed bellows and spitting head spinning bars of complex rhyme, while his "podna"-in-crime Neeco comes correct with a whiskey-soaked throat that is shaded with as much Nashville as it is '90s Seattle. Yep, spend just a couple of minute with the HH "mob" and you'll be want to namedrop everyone from Meshuggah, Korn and Linkin Park to Kendrick, $uicideboy$, and Post Malone.

Milly notes that their hometown functions like a sixth member of the band due to the way the region and culture factor into their sound, stating, "Louisiana plays a heavy role into our sound and direction of the album — it's like a huge melting pot down here, different music everywhere you turn. Rap and metal are big here especially. We never wanted to box ourselves in with trying to be a certain type of band and only make one type of music."

The same applies to the subject matter and lyrical content.

Milly continues, "Our surroundings play a big part in the content. It may be out of the ordinary compared to most bands, but it’s all we've known. It's everything we’ve been brought up seeing and living through — it's not just Mardi Gras and voodoo down here, it can be a real warzone. The main themes are unity, determination, and staying true to yourself no matter what you go through. Hard times make strong people but sometimes those hard times feel like it's all you can see in front of you. Life for young people like us is constant highs and lows, and this album is sort of our way of navigating through it all."

One Morning Left Share New Video "Neon Inferno (Paradise)"

Finnish metalcore eccentrics ONE MORNING LEFT will enrapture audiences with their new single "Neon Inferno (Paradise)," a compelling narrative of a passionate yet tumultuous love affair. This song intricately weaves celestial with hellish imagery, painting a vivid portrait of a love that is as divine as it is destructive.

Watch the video
below.

ONE MORNING LEFT's fourth album marked their first new material in five years. On Hyperactive
, the group began a whole new chapter in their story, drawing inspiration from retro electronic and video game music, as well as '80s hard rock, while staying true to their heavier roots.

Changes have been afoot not only in the band's musical style, but also in their lineup. Returning from the cast of 2016's Metalcore Superstars are frontman Mika Lahti, guitarist/vocalist Leevi Luoto, and drummer Niko Hyttinen. Additional firepower is provided by new faces Tuukka Ojansivu on guitar and Miska Sipiläinen on bass guitar, as well as the return-to-form of keyboard player Touko Keippilä from the band's original Panda <3 Penguin lineup.

Founded in 2008 in Vaasa, Finland, ONE MORNING LEFT are well-known for their unique blend of electro, hardcore and metalcore influences, as well as their entertaining and energetic live shows where absolutely anything can happen.

Less than a month from the release of their hotly anticipated third album, This Heathen Land through Nuclear Blast Records on 3rd November, London's GREEN LUNG have released their heaviest song to date, 'One For Sorrow'. A masterfully crafted blend of traditional doom with gothic synth atmospheres and a crushing slow-motion beatdown, its lyrics exploring the burden of depression make it the band's most nakedly human song yet.

Tom Templar says "This was the last song we wrote for the album, and it's the only song on This Heathen Land that doesn't relate to a physical landscape of Britain, but instead the skies above. It features some of my most personal lyrics yet, but it's still steeped in folklore - the variation of the popular 'One for Sorrow' rhyme at the end dates back to 1780, and is wonderfully creepy. We were delighted to welcome back Julian Firth to play the ornithologist in the music video, along with Blackthorn Ritualistic Folk, who created some incredible costumes and a truly uncanny magpie creature."

This Heathen Land is the most complete manifestation of the band’s vision to date, fulfilling their long-held goal to, in the words of vocalist Tom Templar, “create the definitive soundtrack to the folk horror film in our heads.” On This Heathen Land, the band have forged a sound and identity that is entirely their own, while maintaining the Sabbathian heaviness and addictive songcraft which made their previous albums so beloved in the metal underground. From the cover art to the vinyl inserts and lyrical themes, This Heathen Land is a painstakingly-researched and executed heavy metal love letter to the folkloric landscape of the UK.

This Heathen Land was produced by Wayne Adams at Bear Bites Horse Studios and was mixed by Tom Dalgety (Opeth, Clutch, Ghost).
