Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning superstar Darius Rucker unveiled the official music video for his current single, “Fires Don’t Start Themselves,” with an exclusive CMT world premiere this morning across all platforms, including CMT, CMT Music, the CMT Equal Play channel on Pluto TV, CMT.com and Paramount billboards in Times Square. The cinematic video casts Rucker as a detective hot on the trail of a young couple whose passionate love is setting their town ablaze, both literally and figuratively. Watch HERE.

The song, praised by Billboard for Rucker’s “effective use of the impressive vocal control and power in his lower register,” is featured on his highly anticipated new album,
Carolyn's Boy, set for Oct. 6 release and named for his late mother as an “homage to the greatest woman I’ve ever known.” Preorder HERE.

“It’s been six years… We had so much to write about, so I took my time, got with some great guys, got some great songs and I’m really excited for people to hear it,” Rucker shared from the “TODAY” Citi Concert Series stage on Friday, Sept. 1 as he offered a preview of the project with rousing performances of “Fires Don’t Start Themselves,” No. 1 hit “Beers And Sunshine” and recent release “Have A Good Time,” in addition to treating viewers to his Diamond-certified fan-favorite “Wagon Wheel,” one of the top five best-selling Country songs of all time.

From there, Rucker also made a stop in Charlotte over the weekend to cheer on his beloved USC Gamecocks as the guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay, debuting his starring role on the show’s new theme song for the season, before performing the National Anthem and serving as an honorary captain for the USC vs. UNC coin toss. Fans across the country can celebrate the start of football season with year three of his Darius Rucker Collection by Fanatics line, with an expansion to select NCAA teams for the first time, in addition to new NFL offerings and the debut of a full line of MLB apparel.

Covenant School Community Honored and Remembered with “Dandelions”

On March 27, 2023, Annie Bosko was just settling into a co-write session on Music Row when she heard the tragic news of the Covenant School shooting in Nashville, just a few short miles away. In disbelief, yet through an attempt to process the heaviness, Bosko and Danny Myrick put pen to paper. The heart-healing “Dandelions” poured out almost divinely and is now available in hope of inspiring further healing.

Stone Country Records will be donating all proceeds from the song to ACM Lifting Lives to support mental health services for Covenant School families, faculty and staff.

“I truly believe ‘Dandelions’ was divinely orchestrated, meant to serve a purpose,” shares Bosko. “Our hope is it brings peace and healing to those who are dealing with loss. Stone Country Records is such an incredible label partner as it was never even a question if we would donate the proceeds, they only asked ‘how can we have the most impact?’ After witnessing firsthand the healing power of music during my visit at The Covenant School and the Scruggs’ family home, to find a mindful partner like ACM Lifting Lives to support the Covenant Community in getting access to mental health services is a blessing.”

Bosko first debuted the song at a gathering for some of the school’s families earlier this year where she saw firsthand the healing power of music. With students and friends of lost loved ones surrounding her and joining in on the chorus, it was that coming together that inspired her to share it wider.

The dandelion captures the essence of a lifetime of wishes, and with that in mind, Bosko provides a powerful image of hope:

Tune in tonight, Aug. 19 at 9/8c on Circle Network for “Music Heals: A Night of Support for Nashville’s Covenant School.”

SiM Announce New Forthcoming Album 'PLAYDEAD' Out On September 27 (via UNFD) + Unleash New Single "RED" For Netflix Anime Series "Kengan Ashura"

SiM fans, rejoice! The genre-blending Japanese metal, punk, and reggae powerhouse have today announced their forthcoming new album 'PLAYDEAD', out on September 27 (via UNFD). In celebration of the news, the heavy reggae punx have shared their new track "RED" taken from the upcoming full-length which is also the theme song for the new season of the Netflix anime series "Kengan Ashura". Speaking about the nu-metal influences of "RED", vocalist MAH shared:

"We aimed at creating sounds that reflect the deep respect we have for the heavy music from the early 2000s, like Limp Bizkit and Korn. The main distortion guitar for the backing is an arrangement of the rhythm from Evanescence’s “Going Under”. The song embodies the history of rock music that’s ingrained in our flesh and blood, our DNA."

When asked about the inspiration behind the song's lyrics, MAH commented:

"The theme of the lyrics is “The Meaninglessness of Division”... We all have different cultures, speak different languages, have different physical attributes, etc. These are facts. But at the end of the day when you cut through the skin, what flows out is the same. Bright red blood. And yet regardless of being in close proximity of one another, the same country, the same city, the same school, even the same class, we as humans try to “divide”. Groups are formed for foolish reasons, like favorite TV programs or celebrities that they dislike, and try to expose the “traitors”. Sadly, this can occur amongst music fans too. Fans watching the same band at the same live venue may say “I don’t like the person next to me” and start instigating mindless discussions on social media. It’s a total waste of time. As artists, this is the very thing we despise the most. We want everyone to view us as their friends and family."

Prior to today, SiM's smash-hit singles "The Rumbling" and "Under The Tree" were featured on the massively popular Japanese anime series "Attack On Titan", which together have clocked up a colossal 300 million streams and countingacross DSPs and over 53 million views on YouTube. Pre-order 'PLAYDEAD' at the link here, stream "RED" here, and watch the trailer for the new season of "Kengan Ashura" in the thumbnail below.

After an incredible reception at this year's Download Festival, as well as at their headlining performance at the 2022 Crunchyroll Expo and sold-out headlining shows at London's O2 Islington and Los Angeles' Echoplex, SiM fans will now have their chance to see the band hit the stage on the Jackpot Juicer North American Tour (with Dance Gavin Dance, Rain City Drive, and Within Destruction). The quartet will also be performing at Louder Than Life Festival and Swanfest later this fall. On the heels of the arrival of his 25th full-length studio album Orpheus Descending, artist John Mellencamp sits down with journalist Bob Costas for the premiere of the new intimate, one-hour public television series With, directed by Emmy Nominated Patrick Heaphy. The series premieres nationwide on public television tomorrow, July 1 (check local listings) and full episodes will also be available to stream weekly on WithTheShow.com

Featuring vulnerable conversations pairing music icons with fellow creators, musicians and friends for a candid glimpse inside the creation of their most beloved hits, With will feature five episodes of unheard stories, additionally pairing Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi with David Fricke; Peter Frampton with Trey Bruce at Analog Hutton Hotel; Mike Campbell with Fricke; and Angus Young and Brian Johnson of AC/DC with Fricke. Discussing the songwriting process, challenges within the music industry and philosophy behind their art, artists peel back the curtain, exposing the perseverance that goes into creating their music.

In the season opener, musician and longtime painter John Mellencamp talks with journalist Bob Costas about fame and his dual paths of creativity, being an upstander, having control over one’s art, breaking the rules, and his influences from Woody Guthrie to German Expressionism to his grandmother. Filmed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Mellencamp expresses both sides of his artistry as he plays his guitar amidst a selection of his self-portraits and drawings assembled for the episode.

“John is a great artist, and to deal in understatement, an interesting and opinionated man,” mused Costas. “As it happens, we have known each other for more than 30 years and this is the latest of many interviews we have done together. Given the setting and the stage of John's life and career, it stands out as one of the most memorable.”

“It is an honor to have John Mellencamp and Bob Costas at The Metropolitan Museum of Art,” shares Don Maggi, executive producer of With. “John was our first choice to film at The Met to honor his achievements in his music and painting career.”

With is a production of Don Maggi with iMaggination, Inc. and directed by Patrick Heaphy of LCM247, and is distributed nationally by the National Educational Television Association (NETA). With was made possible by support from The Hutton Hotel Nashville Tennessee and Heavens Door Whiskey.

About John Mellencamp:
John Mellencamp, with his career in music spanning more than 35 years, is one of the most highly respected singer/songwriters of a generation. Mellencamp is incredibly acclaimed; he is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, a recipient of the John Steinbeck Award, the ASCAP Foundation’s Champion Award, The Woody Guthrie Award, the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award and, more recently, the Founders Award—the top honor assigned by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. He is also one of the most successful live concert performers in the world. In 1985, Mellencamp, together with Willie Nelson and Neil Young, created Farm Aid. The social activism reflected in his songs helped catalyze Farm Aid, the concert series and organization that has addressed the struggle of American family farmers for more than 25 years.

John continues to focus on another facet of his artistic expression: painting. His style has progressed over the years as evidenced by several gallery shows and published portfolios, and in recent years he has increased his output by completing over 150 new works. A self-curated book of Mellencamp’s work, John Mellencamp: Paintings and Assemblages, is out now via Rizzoli New York.

"Legends of Rock: John Mellencamp," a permanent exhibition at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, opened last year. There, Mellencamp confirmed his massive “Live and In Person 2023” tour, which completed a stunning 77 date run. LA Weekly said, “Mellencamp strode out looking for all the world like a Brando or a Paul Newman or a James Dean—a Misfit who managed to find his place in the world through his music.

A reissue of his seminal album Scarecrow is out now to critical praise, and features a wealth of bonus tracks, rarities and more. Chase Rice Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of 'I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell' With 10-Part Docuseries Premiering Today

Short Films Chronicle Two Weeks Spent Crafting the Critically Acclaimed Album at Rice’s Home-Turned-Studio With Producer Oscar Charles; Watch HERE

Features Cameos by Songwriters John Byron & Blake Pendergrass, Plus Artists Lee Brice, Boy Named Banjo, Read Southall, Elvie Shane, Hannah Dasher & More

Lead Single “Bad Day To Be A Cold Beer” Impacting Country Radio Now

With February’s release of his fourth studio album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, Diamond-certified songwriter Chase Rice re-introduced himself to fans and critics alike, earning early praise for the standout project offering 13 tracks – all of which feature Rice as a songwriter, including three solo writes.

Building on living room songwriting sessions centered around just his acoustic guitar, Rice took the same approach into the recording process with producer Oscar Charles. Forgoing a traditional studio, Rice and Charles turned his rural home into their 24/7 workspace, bringing in a live band with no click track to capture a rugged, authentic sound over the course of an immersive two-week session – all of which was captured on camera for fans to now witness.

With 10 episodes directed by Kaiser Cunningham releasing in installments each Tuesday – beginning with episodes one through three today, May 16 (
WATCH HERE) – fans will have access to never-before-seen footage that shows Rice crafting what the Tennessean praises as his “best album yet,” noting that despite “a glass ceiling both he and the industry had imposed on his career, he's clearly blasted through that impediment” and even remarking of standout track “Bench Seat,” “the touching country ballad could be, by the end of 2023, one of the surprise candidates for Song of the Year.”

PopCulture asserts that the project is already “the best country album of the year… and everybody’s got to live up to it,” remarking of the recording process now revealed on camera that instead of following the traditional “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” approach, “Rice and his team, somehow, simultaneously broke it AND fixed it — both on purpose.”

Cowboys & Indians further celebrates I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell for its “risk-taking and rule breaking approach,” proclaiming, “that gamble has paid off handsomely, resulting in vulnerable and personal music.” Billboard agrees, noting the album “refines his artistic voice,” creating an offering that is “still propulsive with arena-ready moments, but is laced with deeper, more introspective themes.”

With all 13 songs on the album featured in the setlist on his
Way Down Yonder Tour, gracing sold-out venues across the country, Rice has also delivered summer anthem “Bad Day To Be A Cold Beer” as the lead single impacting Country radio now. For all the latest news on his music as well as upcoming tour dates, visit ChaseRice.com and follow Rice on FacebookTwitter and TikTok @ChaseRiceMusic and on Instagram @ChaseRice.

About Chase Rice
With more than 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.5 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the critically acclaimed album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio available everywhere now, Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the Western way of life. The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.” This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the triple-Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and double-Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out arena tours with Kane Brown and Jason Aldean plus stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours, including the Way Down Yonder Tour underway now in support of his new music.

Andrew will release his next single "Systematic Minds" on May 5, 2023.

Experience molds and shapes the stories we tell. Andrew Hagar’s often unbelievable, always fascinating life informs his smoky rock ‘n’ roll with a hint of rootsy mystique and a heavy dose of Americana-style reality. If Nick Cave came up in Seattle circa 1990, it might sound something like this! Thus far, his journey has twisted and turned from underground MMA fights in college and a stint as a trainer to cutting his teeth live by sharing the stage with none other than the legendary Kris Kristofferson. After earning acclaim courtesy of Consequence of Sound and more, all of these experiences bleed into his 2023 independent debut EP, Limited Edition Psycho.

“I’ve had an incredibly crazy and unique life, and I hope you can hear it in what I’m writing,” he muses. “I pull from all of those experiences. A lot of people are just chasing pleasure. For me, it goes back to the martial arts mentality: you continue to challenge yourself and grow. My goal is to convey the lessons I’ve learned in life through the songs.”

Andrew was quite literally born into music. As the son of Sammy Hagar, his earliest memories included birthdays on the tour bus and dad carrying him out on stage to the roar of the crowd. However, it would take a while for music to become his personal focal point—he had to live first. Instead, he first gravitated to martial arts.

Inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he begged mom and dad for karate classes. “It never stopped,” he smiles. He studied Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu at just 15-years-old. While in the middle of college, he fought in a series of amateur fights known as “smokers.” A potentially career ending knee injury, stacked class schedule, and full-time corporate job derailed his burgeoning fight career through.

However, he never strayed too far from combat sports, covering UFC as a journalist for Sherdog and eventually landing a job as a Muay Thai trainer at Werdum Fight Team in Venice Beach under former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum. For the next decade, he also trained actors from television shows such as The Americans, as well as Vida Guerra and more.

Along the way, he eventually traded Guitar Hero for the real thing, teaching himself how to play on YouTube before fronting a short-lived two-man punk band. Not long after, he launched a folk duo with Kelly Kristofersson and toured Scotland with her father Kris.

“When I stepped off stage for the first time, the feeling was indescribable,” he admits. “I thought it was something I could do for the rest of my life. I had never considered music would make me so happy. As much as loved fighting, it didn’t give me the same feeling that playing live did. I decided to do everything I could to make that feeling a reality in my life.” Teaming up with Trev Lukather behind the board as producer and co-writer, he assembled Limited Edition Psycho over the course of 2021. Nodding to influences such as Alice In Chains, Nine Inch Nails, and Stone Temple Pilots, as well as, classic folk, he infuses eloquent lyricism into grunge-inflected grooves.

“I did a lot of my formative growing outside of the public lens,” he notes. “I’m bringing something more confident and fully formulated to the table as an artist, because I waited until the right time to do this.”

Following singles such as “Judgement Day” and “Cold Knife Karma,” he paved the way for the EP with “Redlight Appetite.” Consequence of Sound hailed the latter as “a glammed-out rocker that unabashedly aims for a massive stadium sound.”Elsewhere, “Slave To Your Name” builds from airy verses into a disarmingly catchy refrain, “Dancing with a ball and chain, high on cheap cocaine, nothing’s changed, I’m a slave to your name.”

“It’s one of the more personal songs,” he states.

Then, there’s “Systematic Minds.” Ethereal guitars glide over a robust beat as his voice rings out on another magnetically massive melodic chant.

“More than ever, people’s opinions are not their own,” he notes. “A lot of people won’t even post something online unless they know everyone else will agree. They’re not living their lives for themselves; they’re living their lives for others. It’s worse than it’s ever been. The song is about how we’re all brainwashed into a certain style of thinking. We’re capable of controlling our own thoughts though. You have to master your mind, or else you become a slave to it.”

As the project stares down addiction, isolation, depression, and darkness, the title perfectly hints at Andrew’s headspace.

"'Limited Edition Psycho' means we all think we’re special even though we are all for the most part truly alike,”__ he goes on. “Everyone has the same issues, so these are mine.”_

In the end, Andrew’s story remains relatable through and through, because it’s real.

“When you listen to my music, I hope you walk away with a different perspective,” he leaves off. “I also want you to feel a sense of belonging. I’m just a guy who’s working really hard to embody all of the values I appreciate in the world. I try to be 1% better every day. I want to be able express myself in the songs and bring them to anybody who wants to hear what I have to say.”

Caitlyn Smith's HIGH & LOW Available Now on Monument Records

CAITLYN SMITH’S HIGH & LOW
AVAILABLE TODAY ON MONUMENT RECORDS

Self-Produced Third Album Arrives One Day After Smith Receives

Nomination for ACM New Female Artist of the Year

Smith Sits Down with “CBS Mornings” to Discuss the
Inspiration Behind the Record, Watch below

Monument Records’ powerhouse vocalist Caitlyn Smith arrives today with her self-produced album: High & Low, signaling the start of her “virtuoso creative era” according to The Tennessean. High & Low arrives after a week of celebratory moments and on the heels of Smith receiving a nomination for ACM New Female Artist of the Year. Listen HERE

“What a week! I’m both honored and grateful to be nominated for an ACM Award for ‘New Female Artist of the Year.’ What a joy it is to be in the company of such incredible artists,” shared Smith. “I moved to Nashville to chase this dream over a decade ago and to get that news the day before my third album drops is beyond anything I could have ever dreamed. This record is so personal and stepping into the producer chair for it was both terrifying and empowering, but I knew in order to grow I had to allow myself to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. I’m so excited to finally share it with the world."

Smith sat down this morning with “CBS Mornings” to discuss the new project and the moments of vulnerability which inspired her to look inward for it. Watch the interview HERE.

For Smith, the making of High & Low represented a metamorphosis. Looking back, the award-winning songwriter realized she, as many do in the era of social media, had celebrated the “highs” of life publicly – while navigating the “lows” in private. Instead of showing vulnerability, it was easier to pretend everything was fine. But over the course of writing and producing High & Low, Smith learned to peel back the curtain, embracing all aspects of her life, including the “lows” she once held so close to vest.

Smith recently kicked off her 2023 The Great Pretender Solo Tour, an unplugged, unaccompanied, unique arrangement in celebration of her new album. In partnership with DTour, the trek includes 15 independent venues across the country celebrating the stories behind the songs. Fender’s ‘Next Artist’ Alex Hall joins Smith as direct tour support. For tickets and more information visit CaitlynSmith.com.

DTOUR is a network of independent venues and promoters offering national artists locally owned, unique venue experiences across multiple markets. The partnership follows a history of supporting independent venues for Smith, who in 2021 teamed up with GRAMMY-nominated Old Dominion on the music video for her powerful song, “I Can’t,” to not only chronicle the desperate conditions many beloved live music venues faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but to encourage viewers to support the National Independent Venue Association by visiting togetherwecan.caitlynsmith.comto donate to NIVA’s Emergency Relief Fund.

Ashley McBryde Wins First GRAMMY Award

ASHLEY McBRYDE ON FIRST GRAMMY AWARD WIN:
“WE DID IT TOGETHER”

Chart-Topper “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Carly Pearce Named
Best Country Duo/Group Performance by The Recording Academy
Marking the First Win in the Category by Two Women

Praised by the Los Angeles Times as “one of Nashville’s most emotionally incisive songwriters with a voice that can channel pain as vividly as defiance,” Ashley McBryde earns her first award from The Recording Academy for her chart-topping duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Carly Pearce, marking the first win in the category by two women.

“It’s Carly’s first [GRAMMY] nomination and it’s my first number one at Country radio,” the six-time nominee beamed while receiving the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. “We’ve performed this song so many times on stage together, and it’s been so nice for our friendship. We did it together. Thank you, thank you.”

Written by Pearce, McBryde and co-producer Shane McAnally, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” is from the perspective of two women – the single girl thanking the guy who helped change her flat tire and the wife at home – discovering the man they’re involved with has someone else. The shattering truth in a text – for McBryde – and the reality of where he’s been when he gets home – for Pearce – finds the two women reeling as they consider their own blind spots in a painfully sobering moment. As the second female duet to top the Country radio charts in 30 years, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” was also named the 2022 Music Event of the Year by both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.

McBryde also received a 2023 nod for her critically acclaimed collaborative project Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville, which marked her third consecutive nomination for Best Country Album and garnered recognition as one of the best albums of the year, earning a spot as the only Country album on NPR’s “The 50 Best Albums of 2022” and one of five on Rolling Stone’s all-genre “The 100 Best Albums of 2022,” along with landing on the best-of lists from Variety, PAPER Magazine, Billboard, Los Angeles Times, Stereogum, Slate and Tennessean, among many more.

Cited by NPR as “a mischievous, and mightily pleasing, departure from the prescribed progression of a mainstream country career,” Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville was produced by John Osborne and features performances from Brothers OsborneBrandy ClarkAaron RaitierePillbox PattiCaylee Hammack and Benjy Davis, as Variety observes, “The very existence of an album like Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville is enough to restore your faith in Nashville, however far afield it might have wandered,”

Summed up by Stereogum“There’s a whole lot of beautiful writerly vision at work on Lindeville, but it wouldn’t matter if the songs weren’t great. Guess what? The songs are great… A lot of people put a lot of work into this record, and they made something that resonates on a deep, emotional level. Give it up for them.”

The Arkansas native is set to perform Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville Live for two sold-out nights at the historic Ryman Auditorium February 15 and 16, featuring the cast of collaborators and special guests. Livestream tickets are available at AshleyMcBryde.com.

March 15, 2022 was “a 9-year-old’s dream” come true for rising singer/songwriter Randall King when he graced the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry for his coveted debut. Now, fans across the globe can experience the emotional night alongside the Hereford, Texas native as his “My Opry Debut” episode airs this Saturday, Feb. 4 at 10/9p CT on Circle Network.

Performing songs “Roger, Miller Lite and Me” and “I’ll Fly Away” off his debut album Shot Glass, King has since cemented his place in country music, leaving critic Robert Oermann stating, “this dude is a for-real country singer, and this rhythm-happy Texas honky tonker stakes a for-real claim to stardom.”

King most recently released the official music video for fan-favorite “You In A Honky Tonk,” bringing his two-stepping “sexy country” tune to life. Written by John King, Matt Rogers and Brandon Day, the Bart Butler and Ryan Gore-produced “You In A Honky Tonk” music video was brought to life by director Brooke Greenberg after already amassing millions of listens (and spawning tens of thousands of videos) thanks in large part to user LonestarTequilaBar’s original thigh-grabbin’ new line dance. See King with the duo behind the scenes of the shoot HERE

With a hefty tour schedule spanning from Montana to the Carolinas and every state in between – including his return to the Opry stage this March, one year after his debut – visit randallking.com to find a show close to you and see King under the neon for yourself.

About Randall King:
One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King grew up on the endless plains of West Texas – and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty with a mix of grit and grace. He grew up singing in the back of a ‘93 Chevy Suburban, mimicking the pure-country vocals of stars like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson and over the years became drawn to the electrifying energy of modern stars like Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean. After years of hustling and a road-warrior’s diet of 150 shows each year, King produced and released the defiant 2016 EP, Another Bullet, then followed up with a 2018 self-titled album. Now, King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to country’s mainstream with his major label debut album Shot Glass. The 11-song collection, seven of which were co-written by King, centers around a night out at a bar, with each track representing a different point of view of those in the room. The album was named to Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far), making him the only male country artist to make the list. With over 170+ million career streams to his name, the 2023 Music Mayhem Magazine and 2022 Pandora and Country Now Country Artist to Watch is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself.

Elle King Previews COME GET YOUR WIFE with Back-to-Back TV Appearances

ELLE KING KICKS-STARTS FRIDAY’S RELEASE OF COME GET YOUR WIFE PREMIERING NEW SONGS ON THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT & GOOD MORNING AMERICA

King Joins Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live Wednesday Night

With her new album set to release this Friday, Elle King brings “her roots-rock swagger to her first full-fledged country album Come Get Your Wife,” said Billboard. She will kick-start that release with a string of television appearances and performances.

On Wednesday night, King will join Adriana De Moura on Andy’s Cohen’s late-night, interactive talk show, Watch What Happens Live. This will be her first appearance on the, always entertaining, pop-culture staple.

On Thursday, she’ll visit The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and premiere “Love Go By,” a new song from the record. She wrote the powerful love song several years ago and it is the closing track on the album that features eight songs written by King. “We were looking for a couple more songs for the record and we were listening back through my catalog when my manager said ‘wait, what’s this!?’ So, we recorded it, and it ended up being the final cut on the album.”

Friday morning, she will christen the release of Come Get Your Wife on Good Morning America and premiere “Lucky,” a song that she wrote about her son and outlook on life. “My son Lucky is this beautiful ball of light and energy,” said King. “Parenthood will bring you to your knees, but it has made me grow in gratitude and empathy.”

Come Get Your Wife, features 13* glorious tracks that run a gauntlet of styles and attitudes that leave King’s roots showing. She co-produced the project with award-winning songwriter Ross Copperman to create a project that is fresh, unbridled and a loose autobiographical look at the tattooed blonde’s journey through fame, love and the places she’s called home.

Known for her high-energy and colorful shows, King will hit the road next month to headline her A-FREAKIN-MEN Tour Presented by Slow & Low. The nearly 30 city tour will kick-off on Valentine’s Day in New Orleans, LA. “I am so excited to be going back out on tour, not just because I love to perform, but because I’m finally putting out a new record,” says King. “I have put all of my energy and love into this album, and I cannot wait to share it live for everyone.”

Chase Rice Brings "Way Down Yonder" to ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

CHASE RICE RETURNS TO ABC’S “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!,” DEBUTS “WAY DOWN YONDER

ALBUM ANTICIPATION BUILDS WITH APPEARANCE ON “THE JENNIFER HUDSON SHOW” ON JAN. 19

I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell Set for Release February 10

Chase Rice brought a rousing rendition of “Way Down Yonder” to ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last night, Jan. 12, for the television debut of the outlaw anthem. Watch the full performance HERE.

Way down yonder where the outlaws wander / you can feel that thunder in your bones,”  he growled, painting a vivid picture of hardworking characters living beyond the confines of the law. The song and accompanying music video, shot in a single take as a time period piece at Fort Worth’s Stockyards National Historic District, previews the new sound embodying Rice’s next musical era.

Recorded during an immersive two-week period alongside producer Oscar Charles and a live band at his farm outside Nashville, Rice’s forthcoming album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell (out Feb. 10) was crafted using a makeshift recording environment in his living room to capture a pure, raw style unlike any of his previous studio projects.

The shift in setting suited the set of more vulnerable, personal music from the man Billboard celebrates as “having storytelling details tumble from his lips, his portraits created quickly and efficiently,” with CMT noting, “the vocalist worked day in and day out to find the courage to knock down the wall he had kept up his entire career” and Taste of Country declaring, “over the last decade, few artists have come so far to find their true voice.”

Viewers can catch Rice again on Thursday, Jan. 19 as he joins “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” Check local listings for more details.

Soon, fans can hear the new music live on Rice’s Way Down Yonder Tour, set to visit iconic venues such as Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre from March 3 through July 1.

About Chase Rice
With nearly 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.4 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the forthcoming album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio, his sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life, as evidenced by recent releases “Way Down Yonder,” “I Hate Cowboys” and “Key West & Colorado.” The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No. Lambs & Lions followed Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Platinum-certified “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to selling out arenas with Kane Brown and Jason Aldean plus stadiums with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice also consistently sells out venues across the U.S. and Europe on his own headlining tours.

Way Down Yonder Tour Kicks Off March 3

Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Chase Rice returns to ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! with outlaw anthem “Way Down Yonder” tomorrow, January 12 from his forthcoming album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, set for release February 10. Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs at 11:35/10:35pm CT on ABC.

“When we wrote this song, I had the mountains of North Carolina where I grew up in mind; all the moonshining history there in the Appalachians,” recalls Rice. “Then all of a sudden during the recording process, Rob McNelley started playing this crazy carnival sound on the acoustic… and it got Western quick. That turned it from a song I didn’t think was even going to make the cut for this next album into one of my favorite songs on the project.”

The song was recorded along with the rest of the upcoming album during a two-week period at Rice’s farm outside Nashville, with producer Oscar Charles and a live band using a makeshift recording environment to capture a pure, raw style unlike any of his previous studio projects.

Featuring 13 tracks ranging from admiration of a Western way of life in recent releases “I Hate Cowboys” and “Way Down Yonder” to emotional reckoning in “Key West & Colorado” and a reimagined album version of “If I Were Rock & Roll,” I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell also honors Rice’s late father, Daniel, with its cover art.

“My dad was one of those good guys you read about – tough, hardworking, always helping other people out,” Rice shared of the man gracing the album cover. “I try to live my life in a way that would make him proud. I haven't always measured up to that, but I get closer to that man I want to be and the man he’d be proud of every single day.

“Making this album was a big step towards that musically, too,” he continued of the project for which he served as a writer on all 13 tracks, including three solo writes. “Not only is it the most vulnerable I've ever been, it’s also something he’d enjoy listening to and is full of stories I wish I could tell him. I’ve always wanted to honor him by using this photo as an album cover, and I know this project is the one that deserves that. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

Last week, Rice brought one of the title tracks to “Good Morning America,” performing the television debut of “I Hate Cowboys.” Watch his performance HERE.

Fans will also get to hear the new music live on Rice’s upcoming Way Down Yonder Tour, set to visit iconic venues such as Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre from March 3 through July 1.

About Chase Rice
With nearly 2.4 million albums sold and over 2.4 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With the forthcoming album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell crafted in his rural Tennessee home-turned-studio, his sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life, as evidenced by recent releases “Key West & Colorado” and “Way Down Yonder.” The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, featuring his latest Platinum-certified No.

Chase Rice to Debut New Song “I Hate Cowboys” This Friday on GMA

CHASE RICE KICKS OFF 2023 WITH DEBUT PERFORMANCE OF “I HATE COWBOYS” THIS FRIDAY, JANUARY 6 ON ABC’S “GOOD MORNING AMERICA”

Forthcoming Album
I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell Set for Release February 10

“I Hate Cowboys” Available Everywhere This Friday, January 6

One of the few contemporary Diamond-certified songwriting cardholders, Chase Rice is set to kick off the new year with brand new music, joining “Good Morning America” this Friday, Jan. 6, for a performance of “I Hate Cowboys.” Tune in to ABC during the 8 a.m. ET hour for this live debut of one of the two title tracks on Rice’s forthcoming album, I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, set for release Feb. 10.

In addition to the live performance airing this Friday, “I Hate Cowboys” will also be available everywhere that day along with an official music video that tributes the iconic history of cowboy culture. Written by Rice alongside HARDY, Ross Copperman and Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi, the song and corresponding visuals serve as a tongue-in-cheek ode to how effortlessly cool true cowboys really are.

“When you listen to the song you of course get that I don’t actually hate cowboys – I’m really fortunate to call several of them great friends,” emphasizes Rice. “But damn, doesn’t it make you crazy when Mr. Steal Your Girl kicks open the door — with that hat and those Wranglers, and he can two-step better than you, talk cooler than you? ‘I Hate Cowboys’ is an ode to the fact that just like Taylor Sheridan writes in ‘Yellowstone,’ if it were easier everyone would cowboy...hell, I wish I could!”

I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell ranges from emotional reckoning to this admiration of a Western way of life evidenced in the title track, and also includes recent releases “Key West & Colorado” and “Way Down Yonder” plus a reimagined album version of “If I Were Rock & Roll.” Rice serves as a writer on all 13 tracks, including three solo writes, and the project honors his late father, Daniel Rice, with its cover art.

Rice will also bring the new music to fans on his headlining Way Down Yonder Tour this spring, visiting several iconic theaters such as Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Boston’s House of Blues and Athens’ Georgia Theatre with special guests Avery Anna, Tyler Braden, Ashland Craft, Dalton Dover, Kameron Marlowe, Read Southall Band and Conner Smith across varying dates. Tickets are on sale now via ChaseRice.com.

Watch their performance HERE.

Transforming the set with church pews and neon signs, McBryde and Osborne were joined by a small choir to deliver their hymn’s chorus, with Rolling Stone sharing, “The rest of the record tumbles out as more of a spoken word retelling of a night Jesus stopped in at the strip club, took in the stories of the characters all around him, dropped a $20 bill on the counter, and slipped out the door.”

Marking her third consecutive GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album, following Warner Music Nashville’s
Girl Going Nowhere in 2018 and Never Will in 2020, Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville was produced by Osborne and features performances from Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, Aaron Raitiere, Pillbox Patti, Caylee Hammack and Benjy Davis. Ashley McBryde and John Osborne Bring 'Lindeville' to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Tomorrow, Dec. 6

Pair Performs “Gospel Night At The Strip Club” from
GRAMMY-Nominated Album Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville

McBryde’s Induction as a Grand Ole Opry Member This Saturday, Dec. 10

Sharing a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album as artist and producer, Ashley McBryde and John Osborne will bring Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” tomorrow, Dec. 6 with a performance of “Gospel Night At The Strip Club.”

Lauded by Tennessean as “one of this year’s best country-folk songs, period,” “Gospel Night At The Strip Club” has struck a chord with fans and critics alike, with Stereogum calling it “a total showstopper,” while Billboard praises the track “serves as one of the project’s most gripping, soul-searching pulses.”

“One of Lindeville’s highlights,” shares Los Angeles Times, “a sparse acoustic number that alternates detailed verses about a club’s various habitués with a moving chorus.” That chorus “is crucial,” asserts PASTE, “because it makes explicit the project’s unifying theme: Everyone is flawed, and everyone is worthy of love and respect despite those flaws. Perhaps we should spend less time hiding our sins and weaknesses, and more time forgiving the same in others.”

Marking her third consecutive GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album, following Warner Music Nashville’s Girl Going Nowhere in 2018 and Never Will in 2020, Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville was produced by Osborne and features performances from Brothers Osborne, Brandy Clark, Aaron Raitiere, Pillbox Patti, Caylee Hammack and Benjy Davis. Landing on Rolling Stone’s “The 100 Best Albums of 2022,” the project brings them all together “to spin stories of small-town life both heartbreaking and hilarious.”

Both McBryde and Osborne are also up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, with McBryde’s No. 1 duet with Carly Peace “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” and Brothers Osborne’s “Midnight Rider’s Prayer.”

This Saturday, Dec. 10, McBryde will fulfill a lifelong dream as she’s inducted as a Grand Ole Opry Member, and in 2023, the Arkansas native invites you to the revered Ryman Auditorium to experience Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville Live, featuring the cast of collaborators and special guests performing songs from her critically acclaimed album, February 15 and 16. Produced once again by Jay Joyce, Never Will reveals the witty, confessional, detail-driven songwriting addressing a wide spectrum of blue-collar Southern women’s experience introduced on Girl Going Nowhere is still here, but perhaps even sharper. The album earned McBryde a 2021 GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album, making Never Will the only album nominated for Country Album of the Year by the ACMs, CMAs and the Recording Academy in the same award season. Her critically acclaimed duet with Carly Pearce, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” went all the way to No. 1 and earned McBryde and Pearce the ACM award for Musical Event of the Year.
