On the heels of performing “Winner At Losing” to fete the hit TV show Landman at ACM Honors on Wednesday (Aug. 19), Gavin Adcock keeps the momentum behind his forthcoming album rolling with the release of “Having One Now,” available now. Listen Below.
“Having One Now,” written by Adcock, Luke Laird and Rhett Akins, depicts the unexpected joy of finding love after a series of bad luck, and is the latest release hailing from Adcock’s upcoming project, The Day I Hang It Up.
“‘Having One Now’ is an upbeat song about finding some love when you were down and out,” Adcock shares. “Last week I dropped a sad song, the week before that I dropped a song for all the blue collar people out there. So, get ready… and don’t be surprised if I drop another one next week.”
The Georgia native is also unveiling the 26-song tracklist to his highly-anticipated third album in three years. A co-writer on all but four songs, the project also includes collaborations with Treaty Oak Revival, ERNEST, and his previously released fan favorite, “Cheap Thrills” with Hudson Westbrook.
With American Songwriter dubbing him a “modern-day outlaw…building a career reminiscent of artists like Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and more,” Adcock’s upcoming project is a continuation of the signature grit and adrenaline-fueled anthems that have garnered him over 2.4 billion career streams to-date.
His previously released project, Own Worst Enemy, arrived as the top new Country album on the Billboard Top 200 Country Chart and the top streaming new album on the Billboard 200 All-Genre Chart week of release just over a year ago (August 15, 2025).
Own Worst Enemy boasted over 25 MILLION US streams in its first week, more than doubling the first-week numbers of Adcock’s previous album, Actin' Up Again, which was released just under a year prior (August 2, 2024).
To celebrate the album, Adcock’s headlining The Day I Hang It Up Tour is now underway with a rotating lineup of special guests including Pecos & The Rooftops, Corey Kent, Tyler Nance, Jake Worthington, The Creekers, Braxton Keith and Mack Geiger.
