UltraViolent Drop "Eyes of God" Video

Born out of Pennsylvania's renowned heavy metal scene, UltraViolent is the brainchild of vocalist Brett Anspach (Galactic Empire, Monument Of A Memory) and bassist/vocalist Avery LeVan.

They have just dropped the video for corrossive new single "Eyes of God." Watch it Below. 

"'Eyes of God' is one of the first songs this current lineup has written," says Anspach. "We're moving past an old era and revamping the definition of UltraViolent. The song comes from a place of anger towards the reverence of a deity who allows corruption and blind faith to dictate the world's decisions and foster immorality. The song’s punishing energy leads to a climatic final act that treats seeing the eyes of god not as salvation, but as a final confrontation. I truly feel this song is just the start of something special for this band."

Since 2024, the band has been refining their signature blend of thunderous riffs, dynamic vocals, and unrelenting energy. "'Death Has Been Defeated' is an emotionally deep cut that explores the idea that death is not truly the end," says GOA's Chas Huff. "The song lyrically dives into the darker side of spirituality, suggesting that with strong enough faith, even death itself cannot win. Emotionally intense and driven by slamming drums, hardcore-inspired guitars, and honest vulnerability, the song is a desperate plea for God to reach out a hand and pull you away from the self sabotaging destruction behaviors of the world."

Chas Huff is a solo alternative metal artist originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, who later relocated to Palm Coast, Florida. His musical journey began in high school, producing on a borrowed computer before stepping into the local scene as a performer. Over the years, he played in multiple bands, including a punk band which shared stages with acts like Puddle of Mudd, and later a group that opened for artists such as Fame on Fire, collaborated with notable features, and secured a distribution deal. He further expanded his reach through an international project earning another distribution deal and working alongside recognized collaborators.

After years of band experiences and setbacks, Chas shifted his focus toward his solo project, Get Out Alive, creating a fully independent outlet for his artistic vision. Self-produced and developed alongside collaborator Zack Baker (Rain City Drive), his sound blends heavy riffs, immersive atmosphere, melodic vocals, and emotionally driven, hook-focused songwriting. Outside collaborations and industry opportunities ultimately reinforced his decision to invest fully in his solo path.

Born out of isolation and personal struggle, Chas uses Get Out Alive as more than just music, it serves as a self-help-driven creative expression rooted in growth, faith, and introspection. Influenced by psychology and philosophy, his work explores the balance between light and dark while embracing raw honesty. Through his music, he aims to turn pain into purpose, offering listeners both emotional release and a sense of hope, grounded in the belief that to truly get out alive, you must face the truth.

SAGE are an East Coast rock band hailing from the extremely fertile musical grounds of New Jersey. Founded in 2023, the band consists of accomplished musicians — vocalist Mike Rafter, vocalist and guitarist James Benedetto, guitarist Chris Coletti, and drummer Nick Perrone. Rising alt-rock artist Wes Parker has today released his eagerly anticipated debut album 'Super Rare' via Big Machine Rock. In celebration of the release, Parker dropped the gorgeously cinematic official music video for his haunting single, "Dinosaur Park". “‘Dinosaur Park’ is a song inspired by the 2009 disappearance and likely murder of Susan Powell in Utah. I’m not usually a true crime person, but hearing her story deeply affected me and left me heartbroken for her and her family. This manifested through a dark but propulsive track with haunting guitar riffs and a sort of uneasy undercurrent that feels somewhere in the world of Radiohead sonically. "Mommy stayed the night where the crystals grow" is a lyric that was a direct quote from one of her late children (at the time 4 years old) when asked where their mother was the night of her disappearance.”

For all of EVA UNDER FIRE's new music, Amanda drew on her career as a licensed therapist to foster open dialogue among the band members, empowering everyone to be heard during the recording. Her work in therapy started in 2018 when she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and went on to work at a mental health clinic in Detroit, Transcendence Behavioral Health (owned by Dr. Stephanie Williams). That same year, her father passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. Her mother survived the same batch that killed her father and has been sober for the past six years. In addition to her thriving and busy music career, Amanda is currently a practicing psychotherapist specializing in trauma work, grief, loss, and addiction recovery.

Her story turned into a 2023 short film, My Rockstar, which used EVA UNDER FIRE music throughout and has won over 20 awards at several film fests including Orlando Film Fest, Wild Rivers Film Festival, Toronto WILDfilm Festival, and many others.

Lauded as one of SiriusXM's 2023 "Ones To Watch," EVA UNDER FIRE released their critically acclaimed debut album, LOVE, DRUGS & MISERY via Better Noise Music in 2022. Its deluxe version includes the Top 20 Active Rock radio-charting single "Unstoppable" featuring country/rock artist Cory Marks. They've toured across the globe with acts including Bush, Bad Wolves, Pop Evil, Skillet, and Finger Eleven, while also appearing at some of rock's biggest festivals including Aftershock, Inkcarceration, and Rock Fest.

EVA UNDER FIRE—who have amassed over 100 million streams and 10 million YouTube views—substantially expanded their fanbase following their featured appearance in the horror-thriller The Retaliators (Better Noise Films) and the inclusion of their single "Blow (Feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)" on the film's soundtrack. he didnt Releases New Single "Death to Self" From Forthcoming Album Dark Making

he didnt announces the release of "Death to Self", the most melodic moment from the forthcoming album Dark Making, out July 3rd via drone alone productions. 

Built from a beat, an acoustic guitar and a humming vocal, "Death to Self" is a simmering opting-out of society. It is stark, direct and strangely beautiful: a song that steps away from noise without losing the tension, distortion and unease at the centre of he didnt.

he didnt began as a solo project exploring industrial noise, riffs and drones with guitars. As the project and albums developed, samples and electronics became necessary to fully realise the ideas, both live and in the studio. The sound now combines live guitars and bass recorded in a studio, samples of those guitars and bass, and other samples of beats, synths and vocals.

Influenced by 1980s industrial, early MINISTRY albums, Pretty Hate Machine and PUBLIC IMAGE LTD, Dark Making follows that vein and shows he didnt’s use of technology and distortion as writing tools, and as forces for expressing emotion.

Some of the tracks on Dark Making are rough and cut in awkward, jarring ways, with sparse arrangement and production, like an idea creeping out of an underground DIY radio station at 4am. The album continues and develops the sound of he didnt’s debut album Anti-Ambient Passive Resistance, while albums two, three and four moved further into drone territory. Dark Making returns with more of a goth-industrial edge.

Playing drones live is great, but you also need some shorter and more direct songs to keep people interested, and some beats to dance to. Even if that dancing is a slow swaying of the arms and head.

he didnt’s fifth album is a journey into the distortion navel that umbilically links us all. At the centre of that journey is "Death to Self": melodic, minimal and withdrawn, a song for stepping out of the system without knowing where else to go.

About he didnt:

Rooted in industrial noise, the Oxfordshire, UK, based solo project he didnt initially started to explore industrial noise, riffs and drones with guitars. As the project has developed, he didnt began to incorporate further electronics and samples to achieve the desired sound. The project now operates with a combination of live guitars and bass recorded in a studio, samples of those guitars and bass, and other samples of beats, synths and vocals.

For live performances, he didnt doesn't use software, syncing or turntables. Instead he didnt utilizes a laptop, the main basic track, extra samples and various guitar pedals to build the sound.

Since its inception, he didnt has release four full length albums via drone alone: Anti-Ambient Passive Resistance and Blood Red (2023), Nothingness Manifested (2024) and Distraction Threshold (2025). he didnt has received praise for previous releases from Bandcamp Daily, BBC Introducing, The Quietus and Electronic Sound. 

The forthcoming album, Dark Making, is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026, via drone alone productions.

Guitars, Tiki Bars Meets Very Vibe @ Kenny Chesney's SPHERE 26 Residency

When Kenny Chesney became the first solo headliner and first country artist to headline the groundbreaking Sphere, he knew he wanted to make it a full immersion experience for the people who love his music. Beyond a sensory immersive performance that featured surprise guests ranging from Grace Potter and Megan Moroney to David Lee Murphy and Mac McAnally, songs that are never or rarely played live and production that delivered a whole new way to look at his music, Chesney curated Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love at the Venetian where fans could see artifacts and visuals from key moments in the Country Music Hall of Famer’s career, hit the merch superstore with several vintage designs, see some special No Shoes Radio programming and enjoy a cold grown-up beverage or soft drink.
 
It was so popular, the lines started an hour or two before opening and the fire marshal might’ve checked in a time or two. As Chesney marveled, “Who knew people would come to look at that stuff, or load up on t-shirts? But it made me feel incredible knowing that No Shoes Nation actually cared about that. When it was time to go back, I wanted to figure out how to make it something different, but deliver the same kind of fun.”
 
Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love is making a big – and better located – move to the top of the Venetian’s walking bridge to Sphere. From Wednesday through Sunday, once Kenny kicks off, the area will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on non-show days and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on show days. The space will feature multiple bars, No Shoes Radio set-up, dedicated merch shop, photo ops and high-top tables to pause and take it all in.

JOAN OF ARC STUDIOWORKS ANNOUNCES FIRST TELEVISION PROJECT WITH ALAN JACKSON

Joan of Arc StudioWorks has announced its inaugural television project co-producing with EverWonder Studios: Alan Jackson: The Last Show. Executive produced by Cindy Mabe, Dawn Gates and Harper Grae.  The primetime television event will be directed by Grammy-nominated and Emmy Award-winning Sam Wrench (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special) and will air on NBC.

The special will celebrate the country music icon's extraordinary career and his final concert performance. Filmed at Jackson's sold-out "Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale," presented by Edward Jones and Silverbelly Whiskey at Nashville's Nissan Stadium, the special will capture a once-in-a-generation farewell from one of country music's most beloved and influential artists.
 
Featuring an unforgettable night of music and heartfelt moments, the telecast will honor Jackson's enduring legacy and profound impact on generations of fans and musicians alike as he takes the stage one final time. The special will spotlight Jackson's remarkable catalog of hits spanning more than three decades, including the songs that helped define modern country music and cemented his place as one of the genre's all-time greatest performers.
Alan Jackson: The Last Show will air later this year on NBC and stream the following day on Peacock.

LAINEY WILSON’S NEW SINGLE “PHONE, KEYS, WALLET” OUT NOW

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of the Taz Taylor Band. All of the Taz Taylor Band releases are now available to stream or download on Bandcamp at https://bravewordsrecords.bandcamp.com.

Guitarist Taz Taylor first came to attention when he released "Welcome To America" the debut Taz Taylor Band album in 2006. This album featured legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, MSG, Alcatrazz) and was met with widespread critical acclaim. Over the next couple of years the band toured extensively in Europe and the U.K. Since then Taz has collaborated with other notables such as Mark Boals, Doogie white and Deep Purple keyboardist, Don Airey as well as maintaining a presence on the live scene in his adopted home of Southern California. 2025 finds Taz Taylor Band releasing their 8th album, "The Other Side Of Midnight." But this time there is a difference...a female vocalist!

Taz explains... "After we completed our last album (Nocturnal) with all of the guest vocalists, we needed to find a guy who could cover all of that material in the live setting. Well as it turns out, that wasn't as easy as we thought. In fact we had to turn to a girl instead!".

So into the frame enters Laura K. Vreeland.

Taz continues... "The cool thing about this is that after working with so many guest vocalists whilst still doing a lot of fully instrumental shows in between, this is actually the very first time that we have made an album with a vocalist who is actually IN the band! By the release of the album we will have been playing together for almost three years and the musical chemistry is incredible."

About TAZ TAYLOR:

In January 1997 UK-born Taz Taylor took a leap of faith and boarded a plane to Los Angeles with nothing more than a guitar, a backpack and roughly $2,000... 

He spent much of his first year in the USA as a long haul truck driver, criss-crossing the country countless times in an 18-wheeler and spending the downtime in his sleeper berth practicing guitar. Eventually he settled in San Diego CA and set about recording his debut instrumental album "Caffeine Racer" which was released in July 2004. A band was formed and live shows commenced. 

Caffeine Racer got the attention of legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet, most notable for working with the best guitarists in rock (Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai) and they set about recording the Taz Taylor Band album "Welcome To America" which was released on the UK label Escape Music in Aug 2006. 

International tours followed in 2007 and 2008, taking the band to UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic.

In 2009 the band recruited another ex-MSG vocalist, Keith Slack for the "Straight Up" album, also on Escape Music, and also featuring a guest appearance from Deep Purple's Don Airey on keyboards.

2010 saw the band returning to Taz's instrumental roots with the release of "Big Dumb Rock" and the band played a string of dates to promote BDR opening for MSG (5 times), Uli Jon Roth (6 times), UFO (twice), Gary Hoey (5 times), Pat Travers (3 times), Dokken, Skid Row, Great White, Molly Hatchet, LA Guns (3 times), Lynch Mob, Wishbone Ash, Tony McAlpine (4 times), Alan Holdsworth, Ace Frehley, John 5 (4 times) and Eric Johnson.

In 2014 TTB released "Deja Voodoo", an all instrumental offering of eight songs and the band took to the road playing shows all across the UK as well as in California.

June 2017 saw the release of “Pressure And Time”. This album featured the vocal talents of Chandler Mogel and also the return of Taz’ acoustic guitar playing which featured prominently on 3 of the songs on this album, most notably on a complete re-working of “Highway Song” originally recorded by Blackfoot.

This album was released on Escape Music in Europe and on Rubicon Music in Japan. The Japanese version included a live bonus track, Explorations… recorded on the band’s 2014 tour in the U.K.

2022 heralded a new beginning for TTB. Pop punk's most lovable liability, Ray Hawthorne, is back with his latest single, "I Tried", trading in his usual chaos to step into a confessional for a moment. A bruising, yet beautiful ballad, "I Tried" tackles the particular weight of being deep in addiction and deciding that trying, even poorly, was the only thing left to offer. Serving as the sixth single of his latest era, "I Tried" encapsulates Ray Hawthorne's journey prior to sobriety. Now proudly nine years sober, Ray Hawthorne peers back at the moments where survival felt like too much to ask for. Almost as if it was a scar that is shown off by someone who made it out, "I Tried" is proof that all stories have a next chapter after all.

Rather than address the emotional weight of his most vulnerable work to date, Ray Hawthorne chose to discuss why the current state of the entertainment industry should inspire you to listen to his latest single:

"Nick Cage is Spider-Man. YouTubers are making hit Hollywood movies. A Lego store is somehow the most exciting thing in the news cycle. Also Beartooth exists. And here I am trying to make you care about my song. How, in this climate, can I even compete? Well I think I’ve got something.

Remember in Beauty and the Beast when Belle is rolling around singing about books? She’s like “It’s my favorite. Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise!” What if I told you that “I Tried” also has all those things. The far off places are places secret drug deal locations. The sword fights are my internal struggle to stop. The magic spells are drugs. I wasn’t able to figure out how to connect the prince in disguise part so I’ll leave that up to you. I tried though. How’s that? I bet you’ve never heard someone link their stories of almost dying as a drug addict to Beauty and the Beast. Good thing Disney never sues anybody. I bet that makes you want to listen. Go ahead. I won’t stop you.”

Do you remember that episode of Degrassi where Ashley really wants Craig to tell her he loves her, but Craig gets all panicked and can’t tell her that he does? It causes so much drama in their relationship. She begins to question her feelings for him and because of that, he becomes seemingly unsure of his feelings for her. So, in an effort to quell the bad vibes, Craig writes a song that includes lyrics IMPLICITLY AND EXPLICITLY stating that he loves her. (Total banger by the way, the only song of his I like better is the one he sings at the battle of the bands after the two inevitably break up, it’s also about Ashley. I believe it’s called ‘What I Know’) Anyway, Craig was only able to admit he loved Ashley in song form, but you as the viewer are left wondering ‘Does he really love her, or was this just his solution to end the drama?’ Or, ’Is this truly the only way he can express himself because he’s kind of nervous about speaking his true feelings outside of the structured environment of a song?’. I tend to believe it’s a mixture of both. So what I’m trying to say is, this collection of songs is kind of like that. I always feel like I have so much to say but often feel a bit too vulnerable when discussing my actual feelings. So for the majority of my life, I’ve just written them into songs instead. These songs can be quite vulnerable even if they seem silly at times. So now you’re left to wonder... am I telling the truth or just trying to get rid of Ashley’s bad vibes?

Melodic Death Metal Force SIGYN Signs to Noble Demon and Unleashes Lyric Video for "The Crawlers" ​

Finnish melodic death metal force SIGYN has officially joined the ranks of Noble Demon and are now unveiling their brand new single and lyric video "The Crawlers", taken from the band’s upcoming sophomore full-length album "From Nation To Chaos", set for release on July 10th.

Blending razor-sharp riffing, epic melodies, and relentless energy, "The Crawlers" showcases SIGYN’s trademark sound while also exploring slightly new sonic territory, further underlining the band’s evolving approach to modern melodic death metal.

Speaking about the track, guitarist Markus Suomela reveals:

"The starting point of the song differed from our earlier SIGYN material, and at first I wasn’t sure which direction it would take. However, the orchestration and keyboard parts composed by Valtteri brought exactly the right atmosphere to it, and now the track is one of my favorites on the upcoming album."
