Microtonal Project MAN RABID Launches Debut Single "Seven Days" + Official Music Video

MAN RABID, the boundary-pushing microtonal project from Swedish heavy metal musician Tony Jelencovich Aaberg (Transport League, M.A.N, Mnemic), proudly launches his debut single, "Seven Days."

“Seven Days” deals both lyrically and visually with the endless struggle of life in a world that constantly challenges and puts existence on its edge. In a lost world and when the flame of life is extinguished, another is lit. Through fire life is born, through life fire is lit.

Destroy, Erase, Improve.

Watch the Official Music Video for "Seven Days" Below:

MAN RABID marks a bold new chapter in Aaberg’s career, diving deep into microtonality through the use of custom-built instruments tuned to a 19-EDO syntonic temperament. The result is a strikingly unconventional sound—warped riffs, dissonant grooves, and intense, visceral vocals that challenge the limits of traditional heavy music.

By stepping outside standard tuning systems, MAN RABID crafts a sonic landscape that feels both unsettling and forward-thinking, blending technical experimentation with raw aggression.

The project’s debut EP, ‘The Messiah Complex I,’ is set for release in 2026 via Black Lodge Records, promising a powerful introduction to this uncompromising new vision.

EVA UNDER FIRE SHARE LYRIC VIDEO FOR NEW SONG "THE WORDS YOU SAY"

Listening to EVA UNDER FIRE is quite literally hard rock therapy, turning scars and demons into anthems of inner strength. As a licensed therapist and powerhouse vocalist/songwriter, Amanda Lyberg blends emotional insight with powerful songwriting, delivering lyrics and performances that connect deeply and hit listeners right in the feels.

The Detroit quintet will unleash its new album VILLAINOUS via Better Noise Music on July 10. It follows their 2022-released debut, Love, Drugs & Misery. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band shares the lyric video for the new song "THE WORDS YOU SAY."

"This song is about being in a toxic relationship when words are often twisted and used against us," states singer Amanda Lyberg, pulling back the curtain. "It scrambles our minds and makes reality seem so far away."

The new song is a mid-tempo, emotionally violent rager and it arrives as the title track and first radio single, which features In This Moment's Maria Brink, climbs towards Top 10 at radio. Listen to the song here. Watch the video Below:

2026 will find Eva Under Fire on tour for most of the year so opportunities to see the band command the stage will be plentiful. For all of EVA UNDER FIRE's new music, Amanda drew on her career as a licensed therapist to foster open dialogue among the band members, empowering everyone to be heard during the recording. Her work in therapy started in 2018 when she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and went on to work at a mental health clinic in Detroit, Transcendence Behavioral Health (owned by Dr. Stephanie Williams). That same year, her father passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. Her mother survived the same batch that killed her father and has been sober for the past six years. In addition to her thriving and busy music career, Amanda is currently a practicing psychotherapist specializing in trauma work, grief, loss, and addiction recovery.

Her story turned into a 2023 short film, My Rockstar, which used EVA UNDER FIRE music throughout and has won over 20 awards at several film fests including Orlando Film Fest, Wild Rivers Film Festival, Toronto WILDfilm Festival, and many others.

Lauded as one of SiriusXM's 2023 "Ones To Watch," EVA UNDER FIRE released their critically acclaimed debut album, LOVE, DRUGS & MISERY via Better Noise Music in 2022. Its deluxe version includes the Top 20 Active Rock radio-charting single "Unstoppable" featuring country/rock artist Cory Marks. They've toured across the globe with acts including Bush, Bad Wolves, Pop Evil, Skillet, and Finger Eleven, while also appearing at some of rock's biggest festivals including Aftershock, Inkcarceration, and Rock Fest.

EVA UNDER FIRE—who have amassed over 100 million streams and 10 million YouTube views—substantially expanded their fanbase following their featured appearance in the horror-thriller The Retaliators (Better Noise Films) and the inclusion of their single "Blow (Feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)" on the film's soundtrack. Their single "Heroin(e)" was also featured on the soundtrack for the 2020 film Sno Babies (Better Noise Films), which has over 65M global streams. "Heroin(e)" has a combined total of over six million global streams, while "Blow (Feat. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)" has over 41.6M global total streams.

he didnt Releases New Single "Death to Self" From Forthcoming Album Dark Making

he didnt announces the release of "Death to Self", the most melodic moment from the forthcoming album Dark Making, out July 3rd via drone alone productions.

Built from a beat, an acoustic guitar and a humming vocal, "Death to Self" is a simmering opting-out of society. It is stark, direct and strangely beautiful: a song that steps away from noise without losing the tension, distortion and unease at the centre of he didnt.

he didnt began as a solo project exploring industrial noise, riffs and drones with guitars. As the project and albums developed, samples and electronics became necessary to fully realise the ideas, both live and in the studio. The sound now combines live guitars and bass recorded in a studio, samples of those guitars and bass, and other samples of beats, synths and vocals.

Influenced by 1980s industrial, early MINISTRY albums, Pretty Hate Machine and PUBLIC IMAGE LTD, Dark Making follows that vein and shows he didnt’s use of technology and distortion as writing tools, and as forces for expressing emotion.

Some of the tracks on Dark Making are rough and cut in awkward, jarring ways, with sparse arrangement and production, like an idea creeping out of an underground DIY radio station at 4am. The album continues and develops the sound of he didnt’s debut album Anti-Ambient Passive Resistance, while albums two, three and four moved further into drone territory. Dark Making returns with more of a goth-industrial edge.

Playing drones live is great, but you also need some shorter and more direct songs to keep people interested, and some beats to dance to. Even if that dancing is a slow swaying of the arms and head.

he didnt’s fifth album is a journey into the distortion navel that umbilically links us all. At the centre of that journey is "Death to Self": melodic, minimal and withdrawn, a song for stepping out of the system without knowing where else to go.

About he didnt:

Rooted in industrial noise, the Oxfordshire, UK, based solo project he didnt initially started to explore industrial noise, riffs and drones with guitars. As the project has developed, he didnt began to incorporate further electronics and samples to achieve the desired sound. The project now operates with a combination of live guitars and bass recorded in a studio, samples of those guitars and bass, and other samples of beats, synths and vocals.

For live performances, he didnt doesn't use software, syncing or turntables. Instead he didnt utilizes a laptop, the main basic track, extra samples and various guitar pedals to build the sound.

Since its inception, he didnt has release four full length albums via drone alone: Anti-Ambient Passive Resistance and Blood Red (2023), Nothingness Manifested (2024) and Distraction Threshold (2025). he didnt has received praise for previous releases from Bandcamp Daily, BBC Introducing, The Quietus and Electronic Sound.

The forthcoming album, Dark Making, is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026, via drone alone productions.

Guitars, Tiki Bars Meets Very Vibe @ Kenny Chesney's SPHERE 26 Residency

When Kenny Chesney became the first solo headliner and first country artist to headline the groundbreaking Sphere, he knew he wanted to make it a full immersion experience for the people who love his music. Beyond a sensory immersive performance that featured surprise guests ranging from Grace Potter and Megan Moroney to David Lee Murphy and Mac McAnally, songs that are never or rarely played live and production that delivered a whole new way to look at his music, Chesney curated Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love at the Venetian where fans could see artifacts and visuals from key moments in the Country Music Hall of Famer’s career, hit the merch superstore with several vintage designs, see some special No Shoes Radio programming and enjoy a cold grown-up beverage or soft drink.

It was so popular, the lines started an hour or two before opening and the fire marshal might’ve checked in a time or two. As Chesney marveled, “Who knew people would come to look at that stuff, or load up on t-shirts? But it made me feel incredible knowing that No Shoes Nation actually cared about that. When it was time to go back, I wanted to figure out how to make it something different, but deliver the same kind of fun.”

Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love is making a big – and better located – move to the top of the Venetian’s walking bridge to Sphere. From Wednesday through Sunday, once Kenny kicks off, the area will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on non-show days and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on show days. The space will feature multiple bars, No Shoes Radio set-up, dedicated merch shop, photo ops and high-top tables to pause and take it all in.

For the VIP package holders, Very Vibe is your very special take on Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love. Not only is it a dedicated space to check in, cocktail up, enjoy activations and have your own merch mall, it offers both a Chesney island feel and a more streamlined experience picking up your credentials, getting questions answered and starting your weekend.

Even better, when the show’s over and you want to keep rolling, Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love will be opening up for after-hours cocktailing for anyone who’s not ready to go home. “Out Last Night”? “When the Sun Goes Down”? No problem, as you’re heading out on the walkway, make a turn and you’re right back in the heart of No Shoes Nation.

“What could be better than hanging out after the show with all the rest of the people who just shared that experience?” Chesney marveled. “In a world where the community drifts apart after the concert, this seemed like a great way to let people hang out, talk about life, love, the lack thereof – or some song they couldn’t believe we played.

“Sometimes the show is just getting you started, so now I can help people keep the party rocking… keep them in the zone and let everybody really maximize their time in Vegas. To me, Sphere has been a whole other way to do this thing we all love. Who knows? Getting together at Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love may spark a whole other thing to do around our shows.”

LAINEY WILSON’S NEW SINGLE “PHONE, KEYS, WALLET” OUT NOW

16x ACM, 12x CMA and Grammy Award-winner Lainey Wilson’s new single, “Phone, Keys, Wallet,” is out now, featuring special guest John Mayer on guitar. Listen to the song below (BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville), which world premiered at country radio across the U.S. and Canada today.

Written during the final leg of the Whirlwind World Tour and recorded at Mayer’s Chaplin Studios in Los Angeles, the track finds Wilson embracing the messy, fast-moving parts of life, and celebrating the person who chooses to love her through it all.

“I feel like a tornado with boots on half the time, and this song is really about finding somebody who’s okay with that chaos and chooses to love you through it anyway,” Wilson shares.

“Phone, Keys, Wallet” follows Wilson’s recent releases “Younger You,” a special collaboration with Miley Cyrus, and “Can’t Sit Still,” which Billboard calls, “a rollicking stomp of a song where the frenetic music perfectly matches the driving lyrics,” while iHeartRadio praises, “[it] captures Wilson’s free-spirited, yet driven and hard-working character.”

The new music adds to yet another monumental year for the Louisiana native, who headlined Stagecoach with an electric set, is the subject of the new Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool (watch HERE) and recently kicked off a run of stadium shows with Chris Stapleton, which will continue through the summer. Wilson also made her film acting debut in Universal’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him earlier this spring, was selected as one of USA Today’s 2026 Women of the Year and featured on the cover of People Magazine

“The reigning current standard-bearer for women in country” (Variety), Wilson hosted the 59th CMA Awards (the first solo female host since Reba McEntire in 1991) last fall, where she won three awards: Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (Whirlwind). She also released the deluxe version of her acclaimed album, Whirlwind, this past August, which features five additional tracks, including her #1 single, “Somewhere Over Laredo.”

The Grand Ole Opry member is a prolific, sought-after songwriter, who has scored nine #1 hits including “4x4xU,” “Wildflowers And Wild Horses,” the 3x PLATINUM certified “Watermelon Moonshine” and the 4x PLATINUM Certified “Heart Like A Truck,” in addition to award-winning collaborations with Cole Swindell (“Never Say Never”), Jelly Roll (“Save Me”) and HARDY (“wait in the truck”). Moreover, Wilson has collaborated with artists such as Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton and Post Malone, made her acting debut in Paramount’s hit television series, Yellowstone, and recently launched her fifth collection with Wrangler, as well as her own boot (Golden West Boots) and jewelry lines (The Lainey Wilson Jewelry Collection).

BraveWords Records Announces the Signing of the TAZ TAYLOR BAND

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of the Taz Taylor Band. All of the Taz Taylor Band releases are now available to stream or download on Bandcamp at https://bravewordsrecords.bandcamp.com.

Guitarist Taz Taylor first came to attention when he released "Welcome To America" the debut Taz Taylor Band album in 2006. This album featured legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, MSG, Alcatrazz) and was met with widespread critical acclaim. Over the next couple of years the band toured extensively in Europe and the U.K. Since then Taz has collaborated with other notables such as Mark Boals, Doogie white and Deep Purple keyboardist, Don Airey as well as maintaining a presence on the live scene in his adopted home of Southern California. 2025 finds Taz Taylor Band releasing their 8th album, "The Other Side Of Midnight." But this time there is a difference...a female vocalist!

Taz explains... "After we completed our last album (Nocturnal) with all of the guest vocalists, we needed to find a guy who could cover all of that material in the live setting. Well as it turns out, that wasn't as easy as we thought. In fact we had to turn to a girl instead!".

So into the frame enters Laura K. Vreeland.

Taz continues... "The cool thing about this is that after working with so many guest vocalists whilst still doing a lot of fully instrumental shows in between, this is actually the very first time that we have made an album with a vocalist who is actually IN the band! By the release of the album we will have been playing together for almost three years and the musical chemistry is incredible."

Giles Lavery, A&R. BraveWords Records, comments on signing the Taz Taylor Band, "I have known Taz for many, many years and I can absolutely say I am delighted to have him as part of the BraveWords family! My first awareness of Taz's great work was the "Welcome To America" album...which, thanks to Taz, was a strong comeback for Graham Bonnet at the time"

About TAZ TAYLOR:

In January 1997 UK-born Taz Taylor took a leap of faith and boarded a plane to Los Angeles with nothing more than a guitar, a backpack and roughly $2,000...

He spent much of his first year in the USA as a long haul truck driver, criss-crossing the country countless times in an 18-wheeler and spending the downtime in his sleeper berth practicing guitar. Eventually he settled in San Diego CA and set about recording his debut instrumental album "Caffeine Racer" which was released in July 2004. A band was formed and live shows commenced.

Caffeine Racer got the attention of legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet, most notable for working with the best guitarists in rock (Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai) and they set about recording the Taz Taylor Band album "Welcome To America" which was released on the UK label Escape Music in Aug 2006.

International tours followed in 2007 and 2008, taking the band to UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic.

In 2009 the band recruited another ex-MSG vocalist, Keith Slack for the "Straight Up" album, also on Escape Music, and also featuring a guest appearance from Deep Purple's Don Airey on keyboards.

2010 saw the band returning to Taz's instrumental roots with the release of "Big Dumb Rock" and the band played a string of dates to promote BDR opening for MSG (5 times), Uli Jon Roth (6 times), UFO (twice), Gary Hoey (5 times), Pat Travers (3 times), Dokken, Skid Row, Great White, Molly Hatchet, LA Guns (3 times), Lynch Mob, Wishbone Ash, Tony McAlpine (4 times), Alan Holdsworth, Ace Frehley, John 5 (4 times) and Eric Johnson.

In 2014 TTB released "Deja Voodoo", an all instrumental offering of eight songs and the band took to the road playing shows all across the UK as well as in California.

June 2017 saw the release of “Pressure And Time”. This album featured the vocal talents of Chandler Mogel and also the return of Taz’ acoustic guitar playing which featured prominently on 3 of the songs on this album, most notably on a complete re-working of “Highway Song” originally recorded by Blackfoot.

This album was released on Escape Music in Europe and on Rubicon Music in Japan. The Japanese version included a live bonus track, Explorations… recorded on the band’s 2014 tour in the U.K.

2019 saw the release of “Hats, Tats And Guitars”…Taz’ favorite Instrumental release!

2022 heralded a new beginning for TTB. Now managed by Giles Lavery Management and signed to new label Global Rock Records, TTB released “Nocturnal” an album of Melodic Hard Rock featuring a handful of world class guest vocalists including Graham Bonnet, Mark Boals and Doogie White amongst others and showcasing the continuing evolution of Taz’ guitar playing!

Ray Hawthorne Is Nine Years Sober And Proud Of Every Scar On "I Tried"

Pop punk's most lovable liability, Ray Hawthorne, is back with his latest single, "I Tried", trading in his usual chaos to step into a confessional for a moment. A bruising, yet beautiful ballad, "I Tried" tackles the particular weight of being deep in addiction and deciding that trying, even poorly, was the only thing left to offer. Listen to the new single, "I Tried", Below.

Serving as the sixth single of his latest era, "I Tried" encapsulates Ray Hawthorne's journey prior to sobriety. Now proudly nine years sober, Ray Hawthorne peers back at the moments where survival felt like too much to ask for. Almost as if it was a scar that is shown off by someone who made it out, "I Tried" is proof that all stories have a next chapter after all.

Rather than address the emotional weight of his most vulnerable work to date, Ray Hawthorne chose to discuss why the current state of the entertainment industry should inspire you to listen to his latest single:

"Nick Cage is Spider-Man. YouTubers are making hit Hollywood movies. A Lego store is somehow the most exciting thing in the news cycle. Also Beartooth exists. And here I am trying to make you care about my song. How, in this climate, can I even compete? Well I think I’ve got something.

Remember in Beauty and the Beast when Belle is rolling around singing about books? She’s like “It’s my favorite. Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise!” What if I told you that “I Tried” also has all those things. The far off places are places secret drug deal locations. The sword fights are my internal struggle to stop. The magic spells are drugs. I wasn’t able to figure out how to connect the prince in disguise part so I’ll leave that up to you. I tried though. How’s that? I bet you’ve never heard someone link their stories of almost dying as a drug addict to Beauty and the Beast. Good thing Disney never sues anybody. I bet that makes you want to listen. Go ahead. I won’t stop you.”

Renowned for his work in North Kingsley, the acclaimed project alongside Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down, Hawthorne initially captured hearts as the Heartbreak Hero with his inaugural solo release "Heartbreak Feels Good in a Place Like This". Building on his solo work, his debut record "Ray Hawthorne Sucks" further cemented his status as a bold new voice in pop punk, quickly amassing a devoted following and over 20 million streams across all streaming platforms for his magnetic charm and razor-sharp wit.

Blending heartbreak, sarcasm, and just the right amount of emotional stability, Ray Hawthorne leads with a messy kind of hope, turning emotional freefall into something you can scream along to. Where debut album and his firstborn, "Ray Hawthorne Sucks", leaned into an earnest DIY vulnerability, his latest record, "Ray Hawthorne Isn't Real", took a turn and tapped into the restless defiance of a secondborn. The 15 tracks helped embrace the chaos, laugh at the pain, and maybe, just maybe, allow us all to find a little redemption along the way.

Starting from the very real possibility that Ray Hawthorne is just a guy screaming into the ether (and somehow making it sound catchy), his catalog has become a refuge for anyone who's ever felt too loud, too sensitive, or too much. Loud, petty, and deeply cathartic, Ray Hawthorne is proudly one of the most unapologetically honest voices modern pop-punk.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Ray Hawthorne news coming very soon.

ABOUT RAY HAWTHORNE

Do you remember that episode of Degrassi where Ashley really wants Craig to tell her he loves her, but Craig gets all panicked and can’t tell her that he does? It causes so much drama in their relationship. She begins to question her feelings for him and because of that, he becomes seemingly unsure of his feelings for her. So, in an effort to quell the bad vibes, Craig writes a song that includes lyrics IMPLICITLY AND EXPLICITLY stating that he loves her. (Total banger by the way, the only song of his I like better is the one he sings at the battle of the bands after the two inevitably break up, it’s also about Ashley. I believe it’s called ‘What I Know’) Anyway, Craig was only able to admit he loved Ashley in song form, but you as the viewer are left wondering ‘Does he really love her, or was this just his solution to end the drama?’ Or, ’Is this truly the only way he can express himself because he’s kind of nervous about speaking his true feelings outside of the structured environment of a song?’. I tend to believe it’s a mixture of both. So what I’m trying to say is, this collection of songs is kind of like that. I always feel like I have so much to say but often feel a bit too vulnerable when discussing my actual feelings. So for the majority of my life, I’ve just written them into songs instead. These songs can be quite vulnerable even if they seem silly at times. So now you’re left to wonder... am I telling the truth or just trying to get rid of Ashley’s bad vibes?

Melodic Death Metal Force SIGYN Signs to Noble Demon and Unleashes Lyric Video for "The Crawlers"

Finnish melodic death metal force SIGYN has officially joined the ranks of Noble Demon and are now unveiling their brand new single and lyric video "The Crawlers", taken from the band’s upcoming sophomore full-length album "From Nation To Chaos", set for release on July 10th.

Blending razor-sharp riffing, epic melodies, and relentless energy, "The Crawlers" showcases SIGYN’s trademark sound while also exploring slightly new sonic territory, further underlining the band’s evolving approach to modern melodic death metal.

Speaking about the track, guitarist Markus Suomela reveals:

"The starting point of the song differed from our earlier SIGYN material, and at first I wasn’t sure which direction it would take. However, the orchestration and keyboard parts composed by Valtteri brought exactly the right atmosphere to it, and now the track is one of my favorites on the upcoming album."

Watch the lyric video for "The Crawlers" below:

Originally formed in 2008 in Helsinki, SIGYN operate within what can best be described as "Epic Melodeath" - a powerful blend of heavy riffs, fast-paced aggression, and memorable melodies, occasionally enriched with symphonic elements. Drawing inspiration from the early 2000s Finnish metal scene, the band fuses intensity and atmosphere into a modern yet unmistakably classic melodic death metal sound.

Following their debut album "Dehumanized" (2023), which earned a spot in Kaaoszine’s "Top 10 Albums of the Year" list, SIGYN quickly established themselves as one of the rising names in the Finnish extreme metal underground. The album’s single "The Real Me" further expanded their reach, receiving airplay on both Radio Helsinki and Radio Rock.

With "From Nation To Chaos", SIGYN continue to refine their identity - combining soaring melodies, relentless riffing, and an epic sense of scale that will appeal to fans of Children Of Bodom, Wintersun, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, and Cradle Of Filth.

Reflecting on the band’s new chapter with Noble Demon, Markus Suomela comments:"SIGYN is proud to join the Noble Demon family and to take this next step in our journey. It feels like a great home to our music, and we can’t wait to share what we have been working on. Exciting times ahead!"

Noble Demon CEO Patrick Walch adds: "Another Finnish band, yes. We could claim once again ‘it must be something in the water or in the mother’s milk in the land of the thousand lakes’, indeed. So, I can’t help but do it as the Finns would — be sparse with words and suggest you check out SIGYN’s first album single ‘Blind Prophet’, which is already out on all streaming services. Listen for yourself and you’ll understand why there is no way to get around this band in 2026. New album out very soon! Of course on NobleDemon \m/"

"From Nation To Chaos" will be released digitally on July 10 via Noble Demon and is available for pre-save at THIS LOCATION

Alt-Rock Quartet CORELLA Shares New Single "Bitter End" + Official Video

CORELLA have released their brand new single “Bitter End,” the latest song taken from their forthcoming second album ‘A Beautiful World To Lose,’ out on September 18th via FLG. “Bitter End” arrives alongside an official video, available below.

“Bitter End” is a scorching indie rock track which is quick to take no prisoners, tearing out the blocks in a frenzy of distortion and pounding drums, while frontman Joel Smith plays rock ‘n’ roll ringmaster with his lyrical snarl taking aim at the circus of life and the rat race for success.

CORELLA debuted the new single live to a rabid reaction from fans on their whistlestop headline tour across the North of England last week. Performing packed to the rafters shows at six sweaty intimate venues, they unleashed a number of tracks from ‘A Beautiful World To Lose’ live for the first time to chaotic scenes as displayed in the video for “Bitter End.”

Regarding the single, Joel says:

‘Bitter End’ captures that restless drive to chase something bigger, exploring the highs, chaos, and obsession that come with wanting more out of life. It plays with the idea of the modern dream; success, excess, and the determination to keep pushing no matter the cost.”

Watch the Official Video for "Bitter End"

Produced by Grammy-winning Jason Perry (The Molotovs, McFly, Don Broco), ‘A Beautiful World To Lose’ finds the rapidly rising Manchester band performing with a new ferocity and sense of purpose. They have taken their formative indie influences and honed them into something new and razor-sharp.

From searing riffs and snarled lyrics in “Rewire,” to bold vulnerability in “Lost A Friend,”alongside huge uplifting anthems such as found in “Simple Life,” ‘A Beautiful World To Lose’ buzzes with energy, while taking their songwriting and musicianship to grand new heights. The themes cover loss, heartbreak and disillusionment, tracking a generation’s frustration and apathy over the things that are out of their control.

With a wealth of support for the band coming across Radio 1, Radio X and BBC Introducing, while also clocking up over 70 million streams since the release of the debut album, CORELLAhave ignited a following which has led to numerous capacity headline tours across the UK and Europe, main stage performances at festivals including Reading & Leeds, while also touring with the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Pale Waves, Circa Waves and The Wombats

DEVIL’S CUT RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR TRACK “IF I LEAVE”

DEVIL’S CUT release the official video for “If I Leave,” a hard-hitting standout from the band’s debut album, ROADKILL. Blending bruised-heart honesty with whiskey-soaked heaviness, the track finds vocalist Trey Landrum wrestling with self-doubt, regret, and the fear of losing someone before they walk away first.

The video was directed by Zabb (Sicko, the Bloodclown, Black Metal: The Ultimate Documentary). Watch it below:

Devil’s Cut have dubbed their sound “Mossy Oak metal,” a tongue-in-cheek tribute to their Louisville, KY roots, where crushing riffs, stomping grooves, and hard-rock aggression collide with infectious country-twang melodies and unapologetic Southern identity. Equal parts dive bar and mosh pit, the band proudly wear their roots on their sleeves: Dolly and Dale tees, camo hats, NASCAR jackets, muddy trucks, cold beers, bonfires, and neon-lit nights all factor into the world they’ve built.

Half Me Release "Weather Eye"

With "Weather Eye," Half Me return with one of their most crushing and confrontational tracks to date.

The new single is a suffocating descent into manipulation, blind obedience, and the devastating consequences of placing faith in false idols. Blending relentless aggression with an atmosphere of looming dread, the Hamburg-based metalcore outfit once again prove why they have become one of Europe's most exciting heavy acts.

Lyrically, "Weather Eye" is a direct attack on systems of control and the figures who exploit fear, loyalty, and suffering for their own gain. Lines such as "These saints hold smoking guns" and "No one"s watching over you" dismantle the illusion of protection and expose the hypocrisy hidden behind authority, belief, and power. Throughout the song, feelings of apathy, hopelessness, and inner collapse collide with a growing sense of resistance, ultimately culminating in a violent rejection of those who seek to control others.

Musically, Half Me deliver exactly what fans have come to expect: punishing breakdowns, razor-sharp riffs, oppressive atmosphere, and explosive vocal performances that shift seamlessly between seething tension and outright fury. Every section of "Weather Eye" feels designed to ignite chaos, combining modern metalcore precision with the raw intensity that has become the band's trademark.

Since emerging as one of Germany's fastest-rising heavy exports, Half Me have built a reputation through relentless touring, acclaimed festival appearances, and a string of hard-hitting releases that have resonated far beyond their home country. Sharing stages with some of the biggest names in modern heavy music and steadily expanding their international audience, the band have established themselves as a formidable force within the new wave of European metalcore.

With "Weather Eye," Half Me channel rage, disillusionment, and defiance into a mosh-fueled anthem that refuses to offer comfort or false hope. Instead, the track forces listeners to confront uncomfortable truths, question the narratives they've been fed, and decide for themselves whether they

DARIUS RUCKER’S ANNUAL “DARIUS AND FRIENDS” SURPASSES $6.2 MILLION RAISED FOR THE KIDS OF ST. JUDE

Multi-GRAMMY Award winner Darius Rucker welcomed friends and fans to a sold-out Ryman Auditorium on Monday, June 1, for the 17th annual “Darius and Friends” benefit concert, which was paired with a corresponding celebrity golf tournament yesterday, June 2, and kickoff event headlined by Walker Hayes on Sunday, May 31, raising a massive $1.1 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. The 2026 effort brings the all-time fundraising total to more than $6.2 million, helping ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.

The annual event once again combined unforgettable music with a shared commitment to supporting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. This year’s sold-out show featured performances from Rucker alongside Jason Aldean, Lauren Alaina, Carter Faith, Randy Houser and Mark Wills.

“Every year it amazes me how quick my friends are to say ‘yes’ to joining us here at the Ryman – and then you guys sell out the show without even knowing who’s going to come sing with us,” mused Rucker. “It’s incredible. I can’t thank everyone enough for the generosity and the eagerness to come out and support the wonderful work St. Jude is doing.”

The spirit of generosity was evident from the opening moments of the evening. Fundraising efforts got off to a remarkable start, with an intense bidding war for a guitar signed by all participating artists setting the tone for the night as it topped out at a $20,000 winning bid during the live auction hosted by the Big 98’s Wayne D and Tay. Additional auction moments – including signed items and premium seating opportunities – continued to inspire enthusiastic support from the crowd.

Throughout the night, the historic Ryman Auditorium felt more like a gathering of friends than a concert venue, with the audience remaining an active part of the show from the opening notes through the final encore. The sold-out crowd was on their feet as soon as Rucker opened the evening with his own hits before welcoming Carter Faith to the stage for a performance of her own songs as well as a crowd-pleasing country remix of Britney Spears’ “Oops!... I Did It Again.”

From there, Rucker mixed his own songs with collaborations and special moments. Mark Wills earned a standing ovation with a rousing rendition of “Dixieland Delight,” while Lauren Alaina joined Rucker for a playful cover of the legendary Johnny & June duet “Jackson” and Jason Aldean thrilled fans with his own chart-topping hits.

One of the night’s most memorable moments came during Randy Houser’s set, with both a high-energy cover of Don Williams’ “Tulsa Time” and a powerhouse performance of “Like A Cowboy” that drew one of the evening’s biggest standing ovations. Following the performance, Rucker laughed as he told the crowd, “I know I can sing… But there’s only been four people I’ve ever been jealous of in my life: Luther Vandross, Steve Perry, Chris Stapleton and Randy F*cking Houser.”

As the evening reached a fever pitch, Rucker led the audience on a nostalgic trip through the ’90s with a Tim McGraw meets TLC meets Bell Biv DeVoe medley that had fans nearly drowning out the stage with their own voices. The evening then ended according to tradition, with a massive “Wagon Wheel” singalong concluding another unforgettable night in support of St. Jude.

This year’s milestone fundraising event adds yet another successful page to the nearly two-decade history of “Darius and Friends.” Prior guests have included Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, John Daly, Dan + Shay, Vince Gill, Jamey Johnson, Jelly Roll, Charles Kelley of Lady A, Ashley McBryde, A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys, Megan Moroney, Brad Paisley, Kenny Rogers, Tommy Thayer of KISS and Morgan Wallen, among many others.

In addition to the concert, Jason Aldean, Drew Baldridge, Brandon Bauman, Chayce Beckham, George Birge, Priscilla Block, Tyler Braden, Kane Brown, Captain Keith Colburn, Dax, FILMORE, Wyatt Flores, Mack Geiger, Vince Gill, Cole Goodwin, Randy Houser, Austin Mahone, Jeff Marino, Kameron Marlowe, Drake Milligan, John Morgan, Will Moseley, Todd Nichols, Dylan Schneider, Dan Tyminski, Blake Whiten, Mark Wills and Warren Zeiders joined Rucker for the corresponding golf tournament.

The annual fundraising event was made possible with support from generous sponsors AMD and The Law Office of Jennifer McCoy.

DEVILDRIVER Unleash New Single "Dead In The Water" From Upcoming Album "Strike To Kill," Out 7/10 — LISTEN + PRE-ORDER

"Let the fire rise, you were born for this, stay the course" —Dez Fafara

The fans and critics have made their voices heard, DEVILDRIVER have leveled it up! In anticipation their rabid new album, Strike and Kill, out July 10 via Napalm Records, the groove metal legends first released the boisterous lead single "Dig Your Own Grave," cracking over 400k cross platform streams, becoming a mainstay on SXM's Liquid Metal, and stampeding up the Metal Contraband charts just a month after release.

If you know what's good for you, you'll pay close attention to the words on their next bloodthirsty ripper, "Dead In The Water" out today. This single is built upon cataclysmic blast beats and ornately blackened guitarmonies, delivering the good with vibrance and violence. Iconic frontman Dez Fafara's delivery remains venomous, galvanizing listeners with affirmations of perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity.

Dez on "Dead In The Water":
"This is one of the most positive songs I've ever written lyrically, coming from a very dark time straight into blinding light. I needed to empower others to do the same as I did, and tell them to 'stay the course,' life turns around if given the chance to flourish.

"The vibe musically on this is very old school DEVILDRIVER and the entire band is cracking hard here, if you're a long time listener you're gonna love this one! Enjoy!"

Check Out The Official Music Video for "Dead In The Water" Below:

Pre-order your copy of Strike and Kill  NOW!

Following DEVILDRIVER's career defining double album Dealing With Demons Vols. 1 & 2 —with Vol. 1 sitting at #1 at metal radio for a triumphant 15 weeks, and Vol. 2 celebrated by internationally revered media like Metal Injection, Kerrang!, and Blabbermouth, who lauded "you can't stop the unstoppable"— the band sets out on a rabid hunt with Strike and Kill, holding the blade to your throat, and serving up that trademark DEVILDRIVER blend of melodeath elegance, blackened atmosphere, tectonic grooves, and Fafara's iconic visceral delivery.

Wasting no time, the album bursts open with the incendiary "Dig Your Own Grave," a flurry of assault rifle kicks and crunchy riffs encircle the listener casting them into the waiting abyss before transitioning into "Dead in the Water," showcasing the vibrant melodeath tapestries of master guitar duo Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold. "Sanctified In Scars" implements industrial pulsating beats and ethereal sonic textures, sanctifying Fafara's venomous voice with blackened tremolo excellence. The album’s title track "Strike and Kill" is a reconciliation of hardships and lessons learned, built upon the backs of blisteringly technical riffage and dizzyingly swift drumming by Davier Perez. Tracks like "In the Moonlight" and "Never Coming Home" wrap listeners in serenely blissful guitarmonies, elevating the brutality with elegance and emotion. "Ride or Die" unleashes pure metal inertia, pulling listeners in with unrelenting force. Exemplifying their technical edge with tracks like “Headed for the Fall” and "You’re just a Ghost," the band embraces mind-bendingly off-kilter patterns that spin listeners' heads. "Summoning Shadows" offers the albums longest respite from carnage, with textured acoustic guitars building tension before the band comes crashing back in with triumphant power. "Shut the Silence On" and "Oath of Iron" get super thrashy with their ballsy riffage and blast beats, before "All Bets are Off" brings things to a cataclysmic conclusion.

The Joy Thieves unleash 'Apocalypse Pending' album with video for 'No Anchor' & focus track 'Ambush Vinez'

Chicago-based alternative collective The Joy Thieves release their full-length album 'Apocalypse Pending' on June 5th via Armalyte Industries. While the industrial-rock-punk-experimental supergroup known has always combined a wide array of musicians together in order to craft their signature sound, they stretch this concept to its very limits with this record.

Highly influenced by the hip hop music production techniques of the 80’s and early 90’s, 'Apocalypse Pending' finds the Joy Thieves Productions team of Dan Milligan and James Scott redefining themselves by utilizing a sample-heavy production to forge elements of industrial, rock, experimental, punk, hip hop, metal, and freeform jazz. But instead of sampling the music of others, they found inspiration in the talents of the band’s 80+ other members, resulting in an incendiary sound all their own.

Anxious to explore new musical territory, they challenged themselves by turning the entire song-creation process upside down. Instead of relying on members to contribute already-written songs, as they’d done in the past, they meticulously gathered hundreds of unrelated recorded musical fragments from their fellow Joy Thieves, then painstakingly reconstructed brand new pieces of music from these fragments, ultimately creating a fresh and innovative sound.

Longtime fans of the band will instantly recognize the iconic voice of Chris Connelly (Fini Tribe, Revolting Cocks, Ministry, Pigface). Seething with frustration and rage at one moment, and coolly delivering beat poetry the next, 'Apocalypse Pending' finds the multi-talented Connelly in his element; using the album’s densely layered, sonic collage as the perfect vehicle to deliver the band’s violently anti-fascist sentiments.

The Joy Thieves have also shared videos for 'No Anchor' and ‘The Wrong End of Your Rifle’, created by Lumbra Productions. Eyeing the edge of collapse, capturing the zeitgeist with such precision, they touch on the decay of the individual, exploring the isolation of our modern world.

“These days, the process of simply writing and recording an album no longer seems to be enough for me. In order to feel fully engaged, I need new and exciting musical challenges - preferably ones that make me start wondering if I just might be in waaaay over my head. Once I get that feeling, there’s absolutely no question I’m on the right track," says Dan Milligan.

"
In the case of 'Apocalypse Pending', that challenge began as a question - What kind of music would RZA or The Bomb Squad make if they had been raised on a steady diet of Gang of 4, The Jesus Lizard, and Ministry?"

Chris Connelly adds, “At their core, the lyrics for 'Apocalypse Pending' are violently anti-fascist. It’s funny how worked up and angry I get when I talk about these songs. But I’m finding I simply can’t hold back anymore; and it feels so good to lyrically address every aspect of this current horror show. I’m so glad we have a creative outlet to express these thoughts. At least until we all get Pussy Riot-ed into prison."

Since signing with London alternative-industrial label Armalyte Industries in 2018, The Joy Thieves have delivered 11 critically-acclaimed releases. 'Apocalypse Pending' is the latest -- produced, engineered and mixed by Joy Thieves Productions at Populist Recording + Mastering.

The Joy Thieves includes current, former, and touring members of Ministry, Stabbing Westward, The Rollins Band, Killing Joke, Pigface, RevCo, PIG, David Bowie, Blue October, Machines of Loving Grace, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, Naked Raygun, Foetus, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Pegboy, Nitzer Ebb, Die Krupps and more.

The band crafts their cohesive signature sound from the contributions of its ever-growing 80+ roster of members, drawn from a diverse range of genres, including industrial, rock, punk, darkwave, hip hop and experimental music. Created by “all of us, and yet, none of us”, this is a sound all their own, their music aggressive, yet precise; confrontational, but refined; and harsh, yet melodic.

On June 5th, 'Apocalypse Pending' will be available on Digipack CD and across music platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.

ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD Present Epic Interpretation Of ALICE COOPER's "Poison" Feat. ANTHEA

ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD has unleashed an epic and cinematic reimagining of ALICE COOPER's iconic track "Poison". This release sees the symphonic progressive metal ensemble join forces with Los Angeles based symphonic/melodic metal band, ANTHEA.

The alluring gothic mood of "Poison" is enhanced through ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD's immersive musical arrangement. Intensity arises from the ferocious heaviness of the metal instrumentation while orchestral and synth layers sculpt an enveloping atmosphere. Haunting harmonies and technical prowess on display from ANTHEA's vocalists Diego Valadez, Juna Pina, Astrid Anaya, and Mel Del Real elevate the track with a touch of the ethereal.

ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD honor the character and impact of the original song while infusing the arrangement their own distinctive compositional qualities. Produced by ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD, "Poison" was recorded at Counter Communications with engineering, mixing and mastering by Chris Wirsig. The track's cover art was created by JD McGibney.

About ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD:

Based out of Los Angeles, CA, ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD began as a side project for guitarist JD McGibney (ex-VOODOO KUNGFU) before augmenting to a full line-up in 2021. Alongside McGibney, the instrumental symphonic progressive metal band is now comprised of Jason Klein on bass (ex-BUTCHER BABIES), Eddie Trager on drums (ex-NEKROGOBLIKON) and Chris Wirsig on keyboards (award winning TV and film composer).

The ethos of the band is to empower listeners through music, to assist individuals who are fighting on their own battlefields and to help them find courage. ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD strive to improve awareness of and discourse around mental illness through the power of heavy metal. The band made their live debut at the 2022 "This Is My Brave" mental health fundraiser, where the band helped to raise around $30,000 to donate to local Los Angeles mental health charities.

2024 saw ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD open for Taiwanese folk metal artist NiNi at her debut USA headline show in November of 2024. In the following year, the quartet embarked on their debut headline West Coast tour across October/November of 2025.

In 2025, ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD's 2024 single release "Modern Prometheus" was long listed in the 2025 GRAMMY Awards in three categories: Best Metal Performance, Best Instrumental Composition and Best Arrangement - Instrumental or A Capella. Additionally, "Modern Prometheus" was nominated in the Hollywood Independent Music Awards in 2025.

Following the band's haunting interpretation of "Phantom of the Opera" featuring guitarist Eli Santana (IGNITE, ex-HUNTRESS, ex-HOLY GRAIL), ANGELS ON THE BATTLEFIELD deliver untamable power in the new single "Poison" featuring ANTHEA.

DEAD BY WEDNESDAY Drops Devastating New Single + Video “Flesh,” via Combat Records

Veteran New Haven, Connecticut metal band Dead By Wednesday, featuring current and former members of Ellefson, Cro-Mags, and Tantric has officially signed with the newly revived iconic heavy metal label Combat Records and is set to unleash their devastating new single “Flesh" worldwide on all major streaming and digital platforms on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Today, the band has unveiled the music video for the single (see below).

After building major momentum during recent live performances, “Flesh” quickly became a fan favorite leading the band to prioritize the song as the first release from their upcoming new EP, due out in early 2027 via Combat Records / Mindsnap Music. The single will also appear on the official Milwaukee Metal Fest promotional compilation album.

In addition to the release, Dead By Wednesday has been announced as part of Milwaukee Metal Fest 2026, curated by Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. The band will perform Sunday, June 7 at 4:45 PM on the BLK II BLK / Copycats Media Stage at The Rave Bar alongside an explosive lineup of heavy acts.

Guitarist Dave Sharpe shares, “This is probably one of our toughest songs to date but still captures the true essence of the old school DBW sound & heavy grooves that are known to be the foundation of the band.”

Robert Dujmusic (CEO Combat Records) adds, “Known for their relentless energy, crushing sound, and dedication to the Metal Scene, DEAD BY WEDNESDAY has built a powerful reputation worldwide trough YEARS of touring and amazing releases. We at Combat Records are totally excited to begin this new partnership and help bring the bands next chapter to an even bigger audience.”

“Flesh” was engineered and recorded by Jeff Weed, then mixed and mastered in Los Angeles by Ricky Bonazza bassist of Fear Factory and Butcher Babies.

“Huge love to my brothers in Dead By Wednesday — one of the hardest working bands out there, always grinding, always pushing, and doing it for the right reasons. It was an absolute pleasure mixing this new release, and I’ve got nothing but respect for these guys. A band I’ll always hold close to my heart, and I’m beyond stoked for everyone to finally hear this one," says Ricky Bonazza.

The accompanying music video was filmed in New York City and directed by Grammy-nominated filmmaker Tom Flynn, known for his work with numerous legendary metal artists.

TodoMal Undergo Heavy Meditation on New Single “Graveyards of Joy”

TodoMal are releasing the title track as the third and final advanced single from their upcoming third album Graveyards of Joy. The song finds the atmospheric doom metal duo at their most elegiac amidst a heavy meditation on depopulation, decay and the gradual reclamation of abandoned places.

"Graveyards of Joy" draws from the ghost towns and emptied provinces of TodoMal’s native Spain, conjuring a landscape where "no gods'll ever settle here, 'cos all they ever do is walk by." As the song unfolds, the desolation gives way: new people arrive, signs of life begin to re-emerge and something resembling hope takes shape during a finale that’s as sweeping as the landscape it describes.

TodoMal was formed in 2020 by Christopher B. Wildman and Javier Fernández Milla, two veteran multi-instrumentalists of the Spanish underground scene. A Greater Good appeared on multiple year-end lists, including Mondosonoro's Top 10 albums of 2023, and sold through its initial pressing. The band has since expanded into a five-piece live ensemble and performed at festivals including Be Prog! My Friend, Under The Doom Fest and Frantic Fest, sharing stages with Candlemass, My Dying Bride and Dødheimsgard. Extensive European touring is confirmed for 2026, including a co-headlining run with Evoken across ten dates in July and August.

Graveyards of Joy is the third album and the closing chapter of a trilogy. Written in solitude following personal tragedy, it channels grief, anger and hard-won hope into nine tracks of slow-burning, widescreen doom. The music breathes: vast Hammond-driven passages give way to desolate folk, Morricone-like strings open onto dusty cinematic plains, and heavy riffs anchor songs that never lose sight of melody. A DIY record of striking emotional depth and modern, alternative edge.
