George Strait and Vaqueros del Mar's "Strait To The Heart" Raises $6.25 Million & Counting for Hill Country Flood Relief

On Sunday, July 27, George Strait and his Vaqueros del Mar partner Tom Cusick hosted “Strait To The Heart,” an intimate benefit dinner and concert at Estancia at Thunder Valley in Boerne, Texas, raising $6.25 million and counting for those affected by the catastrophic flooding across Texas’ Hill Country.

As a sold-out crowd of 1,200 guests gathered for a night of music and giving, Texas Jamm Band, featuring members of Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band, kicked off the evening, followed by performances from Kyle Park, William Beckmann, Hudson Westbrook and Ray Benson.

Strait and Cusick took the stage to welcome attendees followed by a prayer and remarks from Pastor Max Lucado.

“I have a bookmark that a friend gave me that’s embroidered,” Pastor Lucado shared. “On one side, it’s nothing but irregular threads. Different lengths, different colors, a lot of knots. But if you flip it over, the message embroidered says ‘God is love.’ Facing a tragedy is learning to face it from the right side. One side is irregular – it’s just knots, it doesn’t make sense. And during a time of tragedy, it’s essential that we do our very best, as difficult as it may be, to see everything from God’s perspective.”

Cusick then introduced a special guest, Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

“There’s a saying that we’ve all repeated many times: pray as though everything is going to be taken care of by God, but act as though everything is up to you,” Governor Abbott remarked. “While we have prayed endlessly, I want you to know that we have acted endlessly also. Texas first responders have rescued or evacuated more than 1,000 people. Lives were saved because of those first responders. Give it up for our fearless first responders.”

To raise additional funds to support the victims of the Hill Country flood, a live auction was held ahead of performances from Wade Bowen, Randy Houser, Dean Dillon, Riley Green and Jamey Johnson.

Strait then began his set with “The Weight of the Badge,” and was then joined by surprise musical guest Garth Brooks for “The Fireman,” honoring first responders. Johnson collaborated on “Give It Away,” and later, Strait enlisted longtime friend and co-writer Dillon and his son Bubba Strait for “Here For A Good Time.”

The evening served as both a heartfelt tribute to the resilient spirit of the region and a critical fundraiser to provide immediate relief to impacted families. Additional contributions can be made at: https://donate.stripe.com/3cI14maf08Pf0vc7AV5Vu00.

Proceeds from the event and contributions made online will be donated to the 501(c)(3) Vaqueros del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund and distributed directly to affected families and established Hill Country recovery efforts.

The Archives Nashville Raises Over $31,000 for the CMA Foundation with Second Annual CMA Fest Artist Closet Sale

eb The Archives Nashville, a premium digital archiving and storage company specializing in musicians’ wardrobe, celebrates $31,292.39 as the final fundraising total from the second annual Artist Closet Sale during this year’s CMA Fest. Fans enjoyed an exclusive opportunity to shop from their favorite artists’ closets knowing a portion of the proceeds were earmarked to support the CMA Foundation’s mission to provide students with access to high-quality music education and equip educators with the resources needed to sustain thriving programs.

The Artist Tag Sale included wardrobe items from a star-studded lineup including Lauren Akins, Dierks Bentley, Jordan Davis, ERNEST, Riley Green, Tyler Hubbard, Wynonna Judd, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Megan Moroney, Thomas Rhett, Jelly Roll, Alana Springsteen and Bailey Zimmerman.

“We’re blown away by the response and generosity of both the artists and the fans,” shares The Archives founder and longtime celebrity stylist Tiffany Gifford. “To have raised over $62,000 in just two years is something we’re incredibly proud of and we can’t wait to raise the bar again in 2026.”

With the vast wardrobe that musicians acquire over the years, Gifford realized there were no viable wardrobe archiving solutions, so she created The Archives to help clients not only store their wardrobe safely and securely, but to offer a digital solution to keep all things organized, searchable and accessible to her clients and their respective teams. The Archives functions by taking inventory and digital photos of the desired wardrobe to be archived, giving teams the option to store pieces in their facilities or integrate their system into current storage locations. RFID tracking technology programmed into each piece allows for tracking movement of each garment with the online inventory showing all pieces and their location while allowing movement as needed.

Clients are able to see specific movement of wardrobe between closets to take current inventory in case of loss or damage; ensure proper storage of all garments and accessories to preserve valuable and noteworthy pieces; quickly search and filter wardrobe from garment attributes, events worn, and style details; more easily curate garment displays for museums and private companies or personal showings; and monetize select pieces by making them available for rent through the platform.

About Whiskey Myers
Genre-bending band Whiskey Myers have played nearly 3,000 live shows to ever-increasing crowd sizes since their emergence in 2007. In addition to headlining their own sold-out shows from coast to coast at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Ryman Auditorium, plus performing at marquee festivals Bonnaroo, Stagecoach, Download and more, the six-piece was also personally selected to open The Rolling Stones’ Chicago stadium show. The band is poised to begin their next chapter with their highly-anticipated seventh studio album Whomp Whack Thunder arriving Sept. 26 via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records, with lead single “Time Bomb” climbing the Active Rock radio charts now. Their previous project, Tornillo, featured the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022, “John Wayne,” and followed breakthrough album Whiskey Myers, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart and No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (No. 3 among new releases). In total, Whiskey Myers have sold more than 2.5 million albums and amassed over 3.7 billion streams while earning nine RIAA Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certifications as an independent band. Known for their high-energy live show and unique sound, the band praised by Esquire as “the real damn deal” has also earned sync success with features in Paramount’s hit shows “Yellowstone” (including an on-screen performance) and “Landman,” plus Netflix series “What/If,” Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and CBS series “SEAL Team,” among others. USA Today describes their sound as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone noting “it’s the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock & roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.”

Swiss Post-Metallers Abraham Unveil New Single "Suurwäut"

Swiss post-metallers Abraham unveil "Suurwäut," a hypnotic single that offers another glimpse into their new album's kaleidoscopic chaos.

idsungwüssä, to be released on September 26 via Pelagic Records, is the third and final chapter of a series of ambitious concept albums.

Watch "Suurwäut" video below

Pre-order idsungwüssä here.

Still staged in the gritty atmosphere and philosophical weight of post-metal, sludge, and ambient noise, idsungwüssä sees Abraham march even further into dissonant and defiant territory.

"The three albums are clearly linked together thematically," the band comments. "Although, rather than an additional chapter, idsungwüssä is more like a parallel narrative to Débris de mondes perdus. The latter was a jump in time after Look, Here Comes the Dark!, whereas idsungwüssä is a jump in space, a journey away from Earth. It should be the final piece of this little jolly ride."

This album isn't just heavy — it is absolutely drenched in delicious filth, and yet by embracing even more the melodic interludes and melancholic passages, they create a devastating contrast to the wall of power coming from stacked guitars, catastrophic drums, and raging, sharp vocals delivered in Swiss-German dialect.

"The album was recorded between November 2024 and February 2025, all while handling our day jobs and in a period that was, on a personal level, not the easiest for some of us. It is only in the last two weeks of the recording process, right before sending it out to mixing, that it sort of came together and started to feel like a coherent album, an album that we could be happy and proud about. For an album with change/transformation as an underlying theme, this is sort of performative!"

This urgency and duress bleeds into every song, an hour-long journey that moves from the grim to sublime, from melancholy to raw destruction — evoking ruined civilizations and the last wails of fractured psyches. Yet there is something less bleakly human, more ethereal at moments, as if glimpsing beyond the constraints of the body and its wheel of flesh and death.

Strewn throughout the record are appearances of Farfisa Louvre organ — prominently featuring on an Abraham album for the first time. The band were also joined by Kevin Galland (Coilguns), who added additional Moog and piano parts.

The band continues, "Our approach to recording guitars was different than what we did before. Instead of having one guitar on the left playing a part and one on the right playing another part, we decided that left and right guitars were to play the same part, and the center guitar was to play another part. We just stacked more guitars whenever we needed. And oh did we use a lot of reverb, too!"

The structures and movements of the songs found within idsungwüssä are unique and fresh. A balancing of themes and emotions that is both intoxicating and unsettling, it is an immersive journey that rewards deep listening and challenges the boundaries of genre. From the patient grandeur of coming extinction, to the chaos and fevered urgency of the aftermath, in idsungwüssä Abraham move forward from prophetic lamentation to an elegiac visceral response. The emotional closure of this expression is felt, something final that will leave you speechless and with only one real option: Listen to it again.

CHRONICLER OF ARDUL Unveils "Woodlands"

Dark fantasy infused symphonic death metal is the offering from CHRONICLER OF ARDUL. In the new single "Woodlands", composer and project mastermind David Williams extends an invitation to venture into a magical, orchestral led soundscape. It's serene and ethereal, yet something sinister lies beneath. Stream "Woodlands" Below.

"Delving deeper into the world of Ardul, 'Woodlands' captures the experience of wandering into the forest. Dark and mysterious, beautiful, and yet not comforting. There are dangers lurking in the shadows. Nature is unforgiving."

David Williams continues, "My next album will expand on the world already established by the symphonic death metal releases of Myrewood and Sword of Virné, as well as the short stories detailing further the events of the Myrewood's corruption. It will draw inspiration from countless video games and movies that had amazing music bring their worlds to life, such as Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, and Octopath Traveler."

About CHRONICLER OF ARDUL:
CHRONICLER OF ARDUL was started as a passion project by David Williams when he wanted to combine his love of metal music and dark fantasy to tell a story that spanned over songs and albums. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he puts his skills to the test to create the music for a story he had been working on for 9 years. The debut EP called Myrewood released late 2023, with its written short story partner, Myrewood Part 1, published in May 2024. The following EP, Sword Of Virné arrived in the summer of 2024. Musically, CHRONICLER OF ARDUL draws from the likes of SHADOW OF INTENT and MENTAL CRUELTY in the metal world, while also taking inspiration from Japanese composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Beyond Creation Announce 15th Anniversary Tour

Before appearing out of the Canadian woodwork back in 2011, Beyond Creation had already undergone multiple permutations. But with the band's full-length debut, the Montréal four-piece quickly revealed themselves as the next evolution in technical death metal. With microscopic precision, The Aura splices together classic brutality and prog's insatiable curiosity with a refreshing knack for melody. The resulting triple helix has been encoded in the genre's DNA ever since.

As they prepare to return to the recording lab for the first time since being nominated for a JUNO Award, today, Beyond Creation are announcing a special tour to commemorate the 15th anniversary of The Aura. This tour marks the first time that the band will perform the entire album in full.

"15 years ago, The Aura marked the beginning of our sonic journey", says vocalist and guitarist Simon Girard. "We're beyond hyped to bring this album back to life on stage, in its entirety, for the very first time. It carved a lasting legacy into the heart of the technical death metal scene. We promise to bring every riff, every blast, every nuance roaring back to life at full intensity in celebration of where it all began and everything we've built together since. The Aura awakens. Join us!"

Dates and cities for this tour will be announced soon.

The Aura is now available on Season of Mist.

INNERWISH Unleash Spy-Thriller Anthem with New Single ‘The Enemy Inside’

INNERWISH return with "The Enemy Inside," a spine-tingling ride through the shadowy world of espionage, laced with thunderous riffs and an irresistible groove that will burrow deep into your brain. With lyrics inspired by the moral complexities of spy life - most notably portrayed in Steven Spielberg’s “Munich” - the new single fuses classic heavy metal power with cinematic storytelling and an unmistakable nod to metal giants ACCEPT.

"Well, we love ACCEPT,” states the band. “And songs like this one show our love for their characteristic straightforward riffing. Almost in every album of ours, we have a song of that type. Never the same, yet the influence and inspiration is there. What can we do? We love that groovy metal! The lyrics are actually inspired by the movie “Munich” and the life of spies, plus the continuing moral dilemmas occurring through their decisions and acts.”

The Estes Method Unleashed a Torrent of Raw Emotion with NEW SINGLE “WITHERING AWAY”

Emerging from the shadows of heartbreak, fury, and self-reckoning, The Estes Method has arrived with their most haunting and powerful release to date: “Withering Away.”This brand-new single is a relentless sonic exorcism—an anthem for those who’ve walked through fire and come out burned but breathing.

Fusing jagged riffs, pulse-pounding drums, and soul-tearing vocals, “Withering Away” delivers a visceral gut punch wrapped in cinematic atmosphere. It’s the sound of drowning in your own mind, clawing at the walls of isolation, and finding the strength to scream through the silence.

The Estes Method doesn't just perform music

—they bleed it.

"Withering Away" captures the slow, internal collapse that happens when comfort turns into confinement. It reflects the numbness that sets in when you’re chasing relief but sinking deeper—watching the person you used to be slip further into the background. The song explores the isolation, shame, and quiet destruction that lives just beneath the surface—where you can’t breathe, can’t feel, and can’t see a way out. But it also marks a turning point: the moment you see the storm for what it is and start fighting your way back. In the end, "Withering Away" is about finding the strength to face yourself and begin again.

HAYEFIELD Unleashes Raw and Grit with Exposive NEW Single “BOTTOM SHELF”

Rising from the grit of the underground and fueled by unapologetic truth, HAYEFIELD is back with a vengeance. Their new single, “BOTTOM SHELF,” — and it’s a bruising, soul-shaking anthem that

refuses to be ignored.

"BOTTOM SHELF" is one of our favorite songs to date. Not only does it encapsulate our satirical perspectives as writers and musical artists, but it’s a true story about growing up. Being the underdog or a wallflower. Trying to fit in and find yourself, truthfully, wanting to have cool shit like a lot of the kids around you but just not being able to afford it. It just always felt like we were on the bottom shelf.

Stylistically we were able to capture the essence of our influences, (ADTR, Pierce the Veil and Weezer) and mold it into our newly developed sound. It’s bright, but heavy, it’s kinda comedic but ironically uplifting by the end of it. To me it feels like a strong representation of what 2025 is; the next generation of music with a nod to nostalgia.

HAYEFIELD BIO

Hailing from the unlikely breeding ground of Arkansas, HAYEFIELD sounds like they were born and bred on West Coast sunshine and distortion. This explosive power trio blends the infectious energy of pop-punk with the raw lyrical power of hip-hop, creating a sound that’s as unique as it is nostalgic. Think A Day To Remember crashing a Weezer pool party with Blink-182 / Outkast, and you’re halfway there.Their satirical lyrics tackle the universal struggles of self-improvement, the sting of being underestimated, and the ever-present angst of relationships–all with a healthy dose of self-aware humor.

HAYEFIELD's live show is a high-octane affair, fueled by catchy, instantly recognizable guitar riffs that will have you singing along by the second chorus. Their drummer lays down a thunderous foundation, seamlessly weaving southern rap beats into his organic yet aggressive style, creating a rhythmic backbone that’s both familiar and refreshingly new. They're the soundtrack to your existential crisis, the anthem for anyone who's ever felt like they didn't quite fit in, and the band that will leave you feeling strangely hopeful.

Get Lost In Kami Kehoe's "Kandy" EP + New Single & Video Out Now!

Ascending alt-rock talent, Kami Kehoe, has today unveiled her brand new EP, "Kandy" via Atlantic Records, Coup D'Etat Recordings and 10K Projects. The poignant five song collection arrives alongside the brand new single, "COME DOWN" and a music video for viral single "DOPAMINE". Fans can listen to "Kandy" now HERE and check out the premiere for brand new video for "DOPAMINE" / "COME DOWN" Below.

What began as a handful of cryptic teasers quickly erupted into a fan-fueled phenomenon, as early previews of "Kandy" exploded across social media, racking up more than 10 million views before the first track, "DOPAMINE" even dropped. A striking fusion of gritty rock, vulnerable storytelling, and fearless experimentation, "Kandy" crystallizes the next evolution of Kami Kehoe, an artist that has already dominated with over 25 million streams and 24 million TikTok views worldwide.

While "Kandy" is meant to encapsulate the euphoric rush of an all-consuming, intoxicating love, her latest single, "COME DOWN" strips away the high to reveal a raw, introspective journey through a heartbreak's aftermath. Offering a candid look at the process of letting go, "COME DOWN" delves into the lingering ache, self-reflection, and questions that surface when the rush of love fades.

As she ushers in "COME DOWN" and also celebrates the success of smash hit "DOPAMINE" and the release of her brand new EP, "Kandy", Kami Kehoe reflects:

"Releasing this EP feels unreal. I poured so much of myself into these songs, they helped me heal through one of my toughest heartbreaks and my biggest hope is that they connect with others who need them too.

There's something truly special about performing live, sharing these lyrics, and feeling that energy together. I can't wait to experience that with everyone this weekend at Warped Tour and this fall while on tour with Daughtry, Seether, and POD."

Amplifying her momentum, Kami Kehoe will be joining renowned rock icons Daughtry, Seether, and POD as the opening act on their highly-anticipated fall US tour. Moving seamlessly between the festival buzz of Warped Tour and arena stages, Kami Kehoe's effortless live presence speaks to her undeniable range and broad appeal. As she nears her largest tour to date, this run marks a significant milestone for the up-and-coming artist as she shares the stage with three of rock's most established acts on a landmark run of shows.

Carving out her own space in the alt-rock world, Kami Kehoe has impressively amassed over 25 million streams and more than 24 million TikTok views by blending a sultry, velvety vocal with a hard-charged rock energy. Since breaking out with the viral hit “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD”, she has continued to evolve her sound—infusing shoegaze, metal, and hip-hop influences into her music while remaining unapologetically authentic.

ABOUT KAMI KEHOE

KAMI KEHOE has never been one to sit around and wait for permission. Although she’s only 21, the Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and drummer has been blazing her own musical path for the past 15 years, spinning a chameleonic, hard-charged rock sound into 25 million streams and more than 24 million TikTok views.

This unapologetic authenticity propelled her breakout hit “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD,” from her 2024 album REVIVED (Coup D'état/10K Projects), to audiences around the world in stratospheric fashion. Almost overnight, the garage-punk suckerpunch ripped through social media at lightning speed, netting Kami 100,000 new TikTok followers a day and further cementing her as a rising name in the underground.

Now, that story continues with “SAFEHOUSE,” her brand-new single featuring Colorblind and Ekoh. Written in the aftermath of the Los Angeles fires, the track combines droning shoegaze, Deftones-style riffs and propulsive electronic undertones into a hypnotic blend of metal, alternative and hip-hop. It’s another bold step forward for Kami as she continues to kick down the guardrails of her sound – as well as another entry in her omnipresent push to Kure The World, a mantra proudly emblazoned on her bass drum and a mission statement that’s powered her songwriting since day one. “If I can change one person’s life through my music, then I’ve reached my goal,” she says proudly. “I make music for me; I release music for others.”

Morgan Wallen Releases “Miami” ft. Lil Wayne & Rick Ross

After teasing a new rendition of his Keith Whitley-inspired “Miami” in The Magic City itself during his walkouts at Hard Rock Stadium on July 11 and 12, Morgan Wallen’s remix featuring rappers Lil Wayne and Rick Ross is available now. Listen Below.

Wallen first tossed the idea of featuring a rapper on the Charlie Handsome produced song during his interview with Theo Von in April, stating at the time, “It seemed like it could use a rapper on there. I didn’t end up using a feature… it’s one of those songs where it wouldn’t be surprising if we got a remix and did that once it’s out.”

“Miami” is track 35-of-37 on Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m The Problemreleased in May. I’m The Problem remained atop the Billboard 200 chart for eight consecutive weeks in the US and Canada, and has already yielded four No. 1’s at Country radio, including “Just In Case,” which is on its third week at No. 1, and the title track, which remained at No. 1 for eight weeks.

Upon its release, I’m The Problem debuted at No. 1 globally across seven countries, while Wallen also broke his own record for the most simultaneous entries in Billboard Hot 100 History, with 37 songs charting on release week – claiming all top three spots. Wallen has since claimed 10 weeks with at least three songs in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the only country artist to achieve this feat. Wallen is on his ninth consecutive week atop the all-genre Billboard Artist 100 chart – marking 28 career weeks on top.

Abroad, I’m The Problem became Wallen’s first album to debut at No. 1 on the UK Official Charts, making him one of only five artists to debut at summit with a country album. In Australia, I’m The Problem became the longest-running No. 1 album by a country artist in 10 years, with three consecutive weeks atop the ARIA albums chart, while “What I Want (feat. Tate McRae)” recently topped Australia’s Country Airplay chart.

The project sparked Wallen’s 2025 I’m The Problem Tour, which is currently underwaywith just 12 dates remaining. I’m The Problem Tour included previous stops in Houston, TX; Miami Gardens, FL; Glendale, AZ and two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, WI, marking the largest concerts in the state’s history.

With upcoming stops in Seattle, WA; Cleveland, OH; Foxborough, MA and more, I’m The Problem Tour features a rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as second-of-four, and Zach John King added as first-of-four on all remaining dates.

About Morgan Wallen:
Morgan Wallen sets the pace in, and beyond, country music – with Billboard calling him “one of the biggest stars in the music world right now” and The New Yorker adding “[he’s] popular on a scale that seems to circumvent genre entirely.” With 19 No. 1 singles at Country radio, 19 Billboard Music Awards to-date, more than 190 weeks spent atop Billboard’sTop Country Albums chart (the most in country music history), the highest selling country tour under his belt and more, Wallen has propelled country music to a global level in less than five years.

Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, available now via Big Loud / Mercury, debuted at No. 1 globally across seven countries; while his preceding albums – Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time – have remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for more than 100 weeks each, making him the first artist ever to achieve that feat. I’m The Problem – which Hits Daily Double observes is “a 37-song cycle of self-reckoning” – has already yielded four No. 1’s at Country radio, including the title track, which remained at No. 1 for eight weeks. Wallen also broke his own record for the most simultaneous entries in Billboard Hot 100 History, with 37 songs charting on release week.

Wallen’s 20-stadium-show 2025 I’m the Problem Tour kicked off on June 20 in Houston, Texas. Coupled with his personally-curated, multi-genre Sand In My Boots Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama and album release show at The Roundhouse in London in May, these 22 shows are the only place to see the superstar this year.

Wallen continues to donate a portion of every ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation — which supports youth music and athletic programs and gives communities access to essentials in times of crisis. More at  MorganWallen.com.

Koe Wetzel Ushers in the Next Era with "Surrounded," Out Now

Rolling Stone’s “unpredictable wild man” praised by Billboard “for music that’s unvarnished and unfiltered” officially kicks off a new chapter as Koe Wetzel unveils highly-anticipated new single “Surrounded” – the first taste of new music since his chart-topping 9 Lives. Listen HERE.

Co-written by Wetzel with Josh Serrato, Ashley Gorley and producer Gabe, “Surrounded” captures the aching aftermath of heartbreak and delves into the feeling of being trapped by a memory you can’t outrun:

Initially teased during a radio event in February, the hard-driving track blending raw emotion with Wetzel’s signature country-rock edge has since become a fixture in his live set, from a pair of home state stadium dates in Texas with Morgan Wallen to a high-energy run of summer festival dates amid Jim Bob World Tour legs with HARDY.

““The way fans have connected with ‘Surrounded’ at shows made it clear this needed to be the first new song we put out,” notes Wetzel. “It’s been fun seeing the fans hyped online this week and we’re excited for everyone to finally hear the full version.”

The release of “Surrounded” follows a landmark year that saw Wetzel hit five consecutive weeks at No. 1 with 9 Lives standout “High Road” featuring Jessie Murph, land on year-end “Best Of” lists from the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, LA Times, Tennessean, Holler and more, grace the covers or POLLSTAR and Billboardplus receive three new RIAA certifications at the sold-out Red Rocks finale of the Damn Near Normal World Tour, which saw the renegade rockstar perform for well over 200,000 fans globally with over 96% of all headline tickets sold – and even spawned its own live album.

With new music out now, a nonstop touring schedule this summer and his Madison Square Garden debut this fall, Wetzel shows no signs of slowing down.

About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down. The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. With his defining fifth studio album, 9 Lives, released in 2024 via Columbia Records, Wetzel earned recognition on several major year-end best-of lists, including Rolling Stone, Billboard, the Tennessean and more, with the Los Angeles Times naming lead single “High Road” (feat. Jessie Murph) as the No. 8 best song of 2024 across all genres. The single not only marked Wetzel’s debut at Country radio, it also held the No. 1 spot for five weeks and became his fastest song to reach the RIAA Platinum milestone to date. Previously, his 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no-holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” plus the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” and “Good Die Young” plus the Gold-certified “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has amassed 3.7 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” Wetzel performed for well over 200,000 fans across the U.S. in Europe in 2024, with over 96% of all headline tickets sold, in addition to playing prominent festival sets and opening for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour, while 2025 sees him again embark on a year of heavy touring both as a headliner and alongside Wallen and HARDY.

Adam Mac Releases Heartfelt New Track "Last Rodeo" + Shares Wedding News

Rising queer country artist Adam Mac follows the recent release of his viral sensation, “Southern Spectacle,” with his most intimate and heartfelt release yet –  brand-new song “Last Rodeo.” The track along with its music video, which shares footage from Mac’s recent marriage to long-time partner Lee Pfund, are available today. “Last Rodeo” is the latest glimpse into his upcoming new album to be released later this year. Listen to the track HERE and watch the video Below.

Written by Mac with Sonia Leigh and Jason Mater as wedding vows for Pfund, “Last Rodeo” is a tender, rootsy love song that captures the joy and peace of lasting partnership. The couple wed last month sharing the news exclusively with Us Weekly today about their intimate sunrise ceremony atop Baby Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona – a location that holds deep meaning for them.

“We visited Sedona four years ago on an anniversary trip and completely fell in love with the beauty and energy of the place,” Mac told Us Weekly. “When it came time to plan our wedding, it just made sense. We didn’t want anything big – just something deeply personal, just for us.”

The couple hiked to the summit at 4:45 a.m. and exchanged vows as the sun crested the red rock horizon. They each wrote their own vows – and Mac’s were “Last Rodeo.” An epic romantic anthem, the track marries his soaring vocal power to a pronoun-correct soulmates standout.

“I wrote ‘Last Rodeo’ as a way to say everything I knew I’d feel standing across from Lee on our wedding day – no walls, no distractions, just the truth,” Mac shared with Us. “It’s a love song, yes, but it’s also a thank-you – for choosing me, for staying through the storms, and for being my peace.”

After eight years together, Mac and Pfund say they’ve long felt married in spirit, but the current cultural and political climate made it all the more meaningful to make it official.

“With everything going on in the world, we felt like it was the perfect time to stand strong in our love and celebrate it out loud,” Mac told the magazine. “We already felt like life partners – but now it is official.”

The “Last Rodeo” music video, filmed by Ford Fairchild in the same Sedona landscape where Mac and Pfund exchanged vows, is deeply personal and marks the next chapter in Mac’s ever-evolving artistry offering a taste of his forthcoming third studio album. Watch the new video HERE. Additional wedding photos HERE

Unafraid to sparkle in the spotlight – or speak his truth, Mac continues to capture hearts with his unapologetic Southern flair, raw truth and glitter-soaked twang. Mac also recently released a companion video for his recent release “Southern Spectacle.” Written by Mac with HALLIE, Gigi Rich and Sonia Leigh, the song is a celebration of self-expression in the face of Southern tradition. The video finds the Southern spectacle returning to his hometown of Russellville, KY with his glitter and rhinestone shine on full display. Watch the video HERE and listen HERE

Reflecting on social media this week Mac shared, “I can’t help but to be so inspired and proud of my little hometown Russellville, Ky. it was truly a soul fulfilling day being back home in all my glamour and glory and being embraced by the town I felt like I was hiding in my whole life.”

Mac has been pushing the boundaries of country music from the beginning. Rooted in the gospel and '90s country sounds of his youth, he has carved a space all his own with a fresh fusion of southern soul, disco flair, and fearless storytelling. “Southern Spectacle” builds on that sound – a high-octane declaration of authenticity that celebrates queer joy and personal freedom in the face of tradition.

These two new tracks follow the success of Mac’s previous release “Dust Off Your Boots,” which sparked a nationwide line dancing trend and held the No. 1 spot on CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown for six consecutive weeks. Before that, his breakout anthem “Disco Cowboy” reigned at No. 1 for four weeks and premiered exclusively on CMT.

As a visible queer voice in country music today, Mac’s journey has not been without challenges. When he was scheduled to headline the Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival in his conservative hometown, backlash from local pastors sparked national headlines. His strength in the face of hate drew support from fans, hometown friends and celebrities alike – including Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini and Brandy Clark – and led to a guest appearance on Morris’ Lunatics Tour in Chicago.

With his magnetic presence and rich storytelling, Mac continues to carve out space for queer voices in the country format showing that there’s room for every kind of story. For the latest news and updates follow along on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook @adammacmusic and online at adammacmusic.com.

About Adam Mac:
Adam Mac is like no one else you know. A true Southern Spectacle and one of queer country’s leading voices, the inspiring singer-songwriter is brave enough to truly be himself – and help others do the same. Raised in Russellville, Kentucky, Mac grew up a farm-and-church kid loving The Spice Girls and Shania Twain, who’s non-stop singing soon moved from the bedroom to Sunday services and talent shows. By 22 he had moved to Nashville to write songs he thought the mainstream would accept, but by his own admission, nearly 10 years of struggle led nowhere – until he realized he was doing “three chords and the truth” all wrong. Fusing vocal soul with a danceable country-funk mix (and the full fabulousness of his personality), 2023’s breakout hit “Disco Cowboy” set Mac free. The rapturous music video held the #1 spot on CMT’s 12-Pack Countdown for four weeks, leading to a full album of the same name and a pandora’s box of conversations. After protestors forced Mac to cancel a hometown performance, waves of supporters joined his cause, including Kelsey Ballerini and Maren Morris, who invited Mac to open her Lunatic Tour in Chicago. The national media also took notice, with Mac’s music hailed by BillboardEntertainment Weekly, Out, GLAAD, and PEOPLE, calling Mac “country music’s very own Elton John.” Louder and prouder than ever, and with a true community in his corner, Mac finally embraces his own story, contrasts and quirks included. His work might invite the scorn of a few but also gives his fellow Southern Spectacles

COLIN STOUGH BRINGS “WHITE TRASH” TO LIFE

19 Recordings / BMG Nashville’s Mississippi rebel Colin Stoughreleases the official music video for his latest single “White Trash” – watch Below.

Directed by Randy Shaffer and shot in Nashville, TN, the official music video brings to life significant moments from Stough’s past. From a pawn shop guitar trade – the exact one he purchased with childhood possessions at age 8 is featured in the video – to small town scenes checking on a pet chicken in a trailer park, buying a souped-up new truck, catfishing lessons, setting off fireworks inside city limits, and more, the living snapshot delivers on all things “White Trash.”

Co-written by Stough, Jamie Collazo, and Kenny Whitmire, and produced by James LeBlanc and Phillip White, “White Trash” is a battle cry for the outcast — fueled by conviction and delivered with a devilish grin. Driven by raw vocals and a defiant country-rock swagger, the unapologetic declaration finds Stough doing what he does best: stripping away pretenses and leaning full-tilt into every scar, setback, and stereotype with pride.

Stough will continue working on new music as he hits the road for select performances throughout the summer and early fall. Full list of 2025 tour dates below.

COLIN STOUGH 2025 TOUR DATES

7/30: Sturgis, SD (Kickstands Bar & Grill)

About Colin Stough
Born on the Mississippi-Alabama border, Colin Stough was raised on Southern rock and second chances. A self-taught guitarist and gravel-voiced storyteller influenced by The Allman Brothers, Conway Twitty, and Koe Wetzel, he first picked up a guitar at age 8, later trading in his prized possessions for a pawn shop acoustic — one he still plays today. After high school, he worked full-time as an HVAC tech until his mom pushed him to audition for American Idol Season 21. That leap launched a life-changing ride: a standout third-place finish, a deal with 19 Recordings / BMG Nashville, and a breakout debut with songs like “Bad Day” and “I Still Talk to Jesus.”

With a skinned-raw vocal and lyrics carved from lived experience, Stough has built a loyal following of nearly 750k across social platforms. His EPs Promiseland and Lookin’ For Home offer a no-frills portrait of a 20-year-old navigating scars, faith, and fire with Southern grit. He’s opened for acts like Chase Matthew, Drake White, and Kidd G, and is continuing to build his live show through 2025. A student of Skynyrd and the outlaw spirit, Stough isn’t chasing trends with his latest release "White Trash" — he’s telling the underdog’s truth, one song at a time.
