Misfire Unleash New Video For Track "All Over The Place"

Illinois thrash metal wrecking crew Misfire release a new video for their track “All Over The Place” today. Directed by Alex Zarek, the video captures the unhinged energy and raw aggression that define Misfire’s live presence. Watch it below:

Misfire is set to hit the road across the U.S. this fall, joining legendary thrashers Death Angel, Toxic Holocaust, and Lions at the Gate for a tour that promises nothing but carnage. The run kicks off November 26 in Denver, CO, and smashes through cities nationwide before wrapping December 17 in Los Angeles, CA.

Drummer James Nicodemus fires off, “Let’s go! This is our final run of the year, and it’s a monster. We’re beyond stoked to share the stage with absolute legends — Death Angel, Toxic Holocaust, Lions at the Gate — and we’re coming for blood. See you maniacs in the pit!”

“All Over The Place” comes off Misfire’s latest full-length Product of the Environment, released earlier this year — a record hailed by Ghost Cult Magazine as: “Total thrash, total riffs, total devastation… don’t go crying to mummy when your eyeballs burst and your face falls off. You brought this on yourself.”

Full tour dates below. Brace yourself. Misfire is coming.

Avatar Release "Don't Go In The Forest" Album + Share Video for Title Track

The heavy metal visionaries collectively known as AVATAR — vocalist Johannes Eckerström, guitarists Jonas Jarlsby and Tim Öhrström, bassist Henrik Sandelin, and drummer John Alfredsson — have finally unleashed their latest masterwork Don't Go in the Forest. Listen and get the album HERE.

Avatar will hit the road for their massive North American headline run, beginning November 5 in Phoenix. All dates are below.

Regarding the album, Eckerström has explained, "The secret ingredient is that we still feel like we're just getting started. Don't Go In The Forest is an album filled to the brim with stuff we've never done before. It's all songs and concepts we haven't been close to touch until now. The mind is wild and we have lost ourselves in the darkest woods, filled with memories, and fantasies. Forbidden thoughts that must be spoken."

He furthered, "It would have been impossible to make this album at any other time than now. That's all we ever wanted, and I think you'll find it's all you ever wanted too."

Avatar’s growth and momentum has only accelerated in recent years. There's the critically acclaimed, 2023-released album Dance Devil Dance, which included their first #1 at Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay, "The Dirt I'm Buried In." There have been scores of sold-out headline shows across the globe, and an actual fossil named after them. The list goes on and on.

Avatar will spend the foreseeable future (if not forever) on the road. See below for a complete rundown of the band's planned tour activity for the next two years.

Avatar shows no sign of pausing to take a breath in their quest for absolute world domination — much less stopping.

CoreLeoni Live At Hallenstadion Zurich

Swiss hard rock veterans CORELEONI, featuring members of GOTTHARD, are proud to unleash their new live album, Live At Hallenstadion Zurich, via Perception. Featuring a mix of classic GOTTHARD tracks and new favorites from CORELEONI’s latest studio album, IIILive At Hallenstadion Zurich documents a pivotal night in the CORELEONI saga.

One hot summer evening on July 3rd 2025, CORELEONI supported heavy metal legends JUDAS PRIEST at Zurich’s Hallenstadion, performing in front of 7,000 rock and metal fans. The show took the audience on a wild ride through classic GOTTHARD tracks and newer songs from III. An instant success, III had reached #2 on the Swiss album charts and found a place in the hearts of fans around the world. New tracks such as “Like It Or Not” and “Sick & Tired” became staple crowd-pleasers, right alongside beloved fan favorites such as “Sister Moon”, “Mountain Mama”, and “Standing In The Light”.

On Live At Hallenstadion Zurich, the band delivers nine songs in total and kicks off the show with two high-energy classics, “Downtown” and “Firedance”. “We wanted to go out and rock the shit out of our body”, explains guitarist Leo Leoni. Fellow guitarist Igor Gianola adds, “It seems we succeeded. The crowd was fantastic and we were able to deliver a great performance, as we wanted.”

CORELEONI’s energy and the audience’s passion electrified the show. “The night was fantastic”, remembers Leoni. “There was this special magic in the air, Zürich is always fantastic for us to play, but this was somehow a night to remember.”

The band also recalls fond memories of the bonds they forged with metal veterans JUDAS PRIEST, making the show a particularly notable highlight in CORELEONI’s career. “At the Hallenstadion we met Scott Travis on stage, who was there the whole show, and he spent some very nice words about our performance. He’s a great guy and a fantastic drummer, so we appreciated and proved our effort to get it right to the point”, recalls Gianola.

“It was an honour for us to support Judas Priest, they are one of the most important metal bands and I follow them also since I was a kid. It wasn’t the first time we played together, but especially in this location, it was like a mythos”, comments Leo Leoni.

Experience the magic of this unforgettable night right through your speakers or headphones.

Digital release only, available worldwide on December 19th, 2025 on all major digital music platforms.

About CORELEONI
Founded by guitarist Leo Leoni in 2018, CORELEONI started reviving the early GOTTHARD days successfully with their album duo consisting of The Greatest Hits - Part 1 and II. The band also convinced fans and critics alike with their high-energy performances all over Europe, making the five-piece write their very own material. The result titled III was finally released in early 2022 and saw the addition of gifted Albanian singer Eugent Bushpepa to CORELEONI’s powerful line-up, which is completed by guitarist Jgor Gianola (ex-GOTTHARD, ex-U.D.O.), bass player Mila Merker and drummer Alex Motta. The group’s latest record hit the official Swiss album chart at no. 2 and thereby cemented the high demand for their captivating craft. Of course, III guided the quintet’s way across the continent once again while making one thing even clearer: CORELEONI are more than just a studio band and need to be experienced (a)live to understand their vision in full. So what are you waiting for? Feel the magic & enjoy their second live offering, Live at Hallenstadion Zurich!

Return to Dust proudly look to the '90s-era grunge as a key source of inspiration for their grainy, gnarly, and modern blend of hard rock. 2024 saw the band unveil its independent self-titled full-length debut, Return To Dust, including standout single "Belly Up," which rose through the Active Rock chart  and was praised by Distorted Sound as "a grungy, punky thrill ride," while Revolver applauded the group's "Alice In Chains-inspired form of modern-day grunge." In the aftermath, they lit up the stages at major festivals like Inkarceration, Welcome To Rockville, and Sonic Temple, and joined rock legends Chevelle and Sevendust as support on tour. The group next signed to LAVA Records/Republic Records and dropped the Speak Like The Dead EP, which yielded the hit single "Bored." Tours with Pop Evil, Billy Corgan And The Machines Of God, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace ensued, and the band also appeared at Louder Than Life and Aftershock. With 2026 squarely in their sites, there is no ceiling to what Return to Dust can achieve. Fans can go here for more.

Trivium Release "STRUCK DEAD" EP + Share Title Track Video — WATCH // Headline Tour Kicks Off Tour

GRAMMY-nominated heavyweights TRIVIUM — vocalist/guitarist MATTHEW K. HEAFY; guitarist COREY BEAULIEU; and bassist PAOLO GREGOLETTO — have released the three-song EP STRUCK DEAD , via longtime label Roadrunner Records. Get it here

Trivium have shared the video for the title track. Watch it below

"In August 2023, we set out to design and build our own studio at The Hangar — a place to create freely, on our own terms," says Gregoletto about the EP's genesis.

The creative catalyst, though, was the band's past and desire to see what's next. "Born from months of revisiting and performing Ascendancy in full, this EP channels that familiar power and spirit while pushing into new territory," he continues. "We feel that Struck Dead stands as the first step into a bold new era for us and we happy to finally share it with all of you.”

While it may only be three songs in length, in typical Trivium fashion, it packs a powerhouse punch, thanks to masterful riffing and the dual-style vocal prowess the band has built its nearly three-decade reputation on! It was produced by Trivium and recorded with Mark Lewis at the band's aforementioned Hangar Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was mixed and mastered by Josh Wilbur.

Trivium will embark on The Struck Dead tour, which kicks off today, October 31, in Myrtle Beach and runs through December 14, with an epic hometown show in Orlando.

Kreator Pay Homage to Dario Argento's Horror Classic "Suspiria" in "Tränenpalast" (Feat. Britta Görtz) Video

Metal titans KREATOR have released a new single from their sixteenth full-length, Krushers Of The World, which will be out on January 16 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Arriving just in time for Halloween, the song "Tränenpalast" is a comprehensive homage to horror maestro Dario Argento's 1977 cult film Suspiria, which is hailed by fans as one of the most defining genre entries of its era. While the lead melody references the film's original score by Italian prog band GOBLIN, lending it a melodic death metal touch, the lyrics mention "the three mothers," an ancient witch coven from the Suspiria universe. In addition, the music video created by acclaimed masters of the macabre, Grupa 13, features KREATOR performing in the film's haunted ballet school setting complemented by disturbing images of said witches in various stages of transformation.

You can watch the video below — if you dare!

"Tränenpalast" features vocal coach Britta Görtz of extreme metal band HIRAES.

Morgan Wallen Sets 21-Date ‘Still The Problem’ Stadium Tour for ‘26

After concluding his 2025 I’m The Problem Tour in September, which left Pittsburgh Post-Gazette dubbing him “one of the hottest artists of the century” and AZ Central opining “he’s a commanding presence,” 19x Billboard Music Award winner Morgan Wallen is running it back, today announcing his Still The Problem Tour 2026. Pre-sale registration for Still The Problem Tour is open now through Nov. 6 at 10pm local time at StillTheProblem.com. Public on-sale begins on Friday, Nov. 7 at 10am local time.

Promoted by AEG Presents – with the exception of the Tuscaloosa, Alabama show, which is produced by Live Nation – Wallen’s 11-city, 21-date Still The Problem stadium tour will kick off on April 10, 2026 with two consecutive nights at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Wallen will play two nights in most locations, including stops at three major college football stadiums: Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Michigan’s Michigan Stadium and one night only at Alabama’s Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, HARDY,  Ella Langley and Thomas Rhett join as direct support, with Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry and Hudson Westbrook as second-of-four and Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Blake Whiten as first-of-four. Support assets are available HERE.

Still The Problem is inspired by Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, which arrived May 16, 2025 via Big Loud/Mercury Records. I’m The Problem spent 12 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 albums chart and 13 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. It also became his third consecutive album to spend at least 10 weeks atop the Billboard 200 – making Wallen the first artist in history to achieve that feat.

Internationally, the album debuted at No. 1 in seven countries upon release and became Wallen’s first album to debut at No. 1 on the UK Official Charts, making him one of only five artists to debut at summit with a country album. In Australia, I’m The Problem became the longest-running No. 1 album by a country artist in 10 years, with three consecutive weeks atop the ARIA albums chart, while “What I Want (feat. Tate McRae)” spent five weeks at No. 1 on Australia’s Country Airplay chart.

As with previous tours, a portion of every ticket sold will benefit his Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF) — which supports programs for youth in the areas of sports and music. Those donations enabled MWF to contribute over $600,000 worth of instruments to schools in need across U.S. touring cities in 2025, including Gulf Shores, Alabama, in addition to a $30,000 donation to the Toronto Blue Jays’ Jays Cares RBI program. About Morgan Wallen:
Morgan Wallen sets the pace in, and beyond, country music – with Billboard calling him “one of the biggest stars in the music world right now” and The New Yorker adding “[he’s] popular on a scale that seems to circumvent genre entirely.” With 20 No. 1 singles at Country radio, 19 Billboard Music Awards to-date, 198 weeks spent atop Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart (the most in country music history), the highest selling country tour under his belt and more, Wallen has propelled country music to a global level in less than five years.

Wallen’s fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, available now via Big Loud / Mercury, debuted at No. 1 globally across seven countries; while his preceding albums – Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time – have remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for more than 100 weeks each, making him the first artist ever to achieve that feat. I’m The Problem – which Hits Daily Double observes is “a 37-song cycle of self-reckoning” – has already yielded five No. 1’s at Country radio, including the title track, which remained at No. 1 for eight weeks. Wallen also broke his own record for the most simultaneous entries in Billboard Hot 100 History, with 37 songs charting on release week.

After recently concluding his 20-stadium-show 2025 I’m the Problem Tour in September, Wallen is readying his 21-stadium show Still The Problem Tour for 2026. Kicking off April 10 with two consecutive nights at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the run will include stops at three major college football stadiums: Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Michigan’s Michigan Stadium and one night only at Alabama’s Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Wallen donates a portion of every ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation — which supports programs for youth in the areas of sports and music. More at MorganWallenFoundation.org.

Singer/Songwriter Kaitlin Butts Signs to Republic Records; New 'Yeehaw Sessions' EP Coming Nov. 14

Gaining traction as one of country music’s fastest-rising artists, acclaimed Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and performer Kaitlin Butts will unveil her new Yeehaw Sessions EP on November 14, 2025. It notably marks the celebrated rising star's debut under her recently minted deal with Republic Records. Pre-order/Pre-save Yeehaw Sessions EP HERE.

"From releasing my album over a year ago as an independent artist, to having a viral song, to now signing a record deal with such a prestigious label like Republic Records, the journey has felt nothing short of surreal,” shares Butts. "I’m so inspired by the Republic team and how their vision aligns with the dreams that I’ve always had for myself.”

Kicking off this next chapter in earnest, she just shared a powerfully moving cover of the Jimmy Eat World classic “The Middle” giving fans the first taste of the forthcoming  EP. Listen to “The Middle” Below.

The woman declared “unafraid to test boundaries,” by Rolling Stone, spikes this pop-punk staple with serious Oklahoma soul. Stripping back the arrangement back to bare acoustic guitar, slide, fiddle, and dobro, her vocals especially shine as she delivers the instantly recognizable hook with a whole lot of heart. Ultimately, this version of “The Middle” illuminates Butts’ impressive range and uncanny ability to make even the most recognizable track her own with respect and reverence.

"It has been such an incredible year! And in the midst of these great things — viral songs, huge tour opportunities — all that positive attention can bring with it some negative moments too. I was feeling particularly down about myself after some of those negative comments online and starting to wonder if maybe they were right. Then one night at karaoke with friends — because that’s what I, as a professional singer, do to make myself feel better,” Butts shares with tongue firmly planted in cheek, “this girl started singing 'The Middle,' a song that I was very familiar with but reading the lyrics on the screen, it was the first time I was able to take in what the song meant and I started to tear up. I needed to hear those words in that exact moment. It was a reminder to me that I’ve worked my entire life for this dream, and I’ll be damned if I let some keyboard warrior rain on my parade. I hope my version meets someone the way that song met me in that moment."

On the music video, she shares: "In Jimmy Eat World’s original music video, a girl shows up to a party, strips her coat at the door and walks into a party where everyone is in their underwear. In this video, I wanted to pay tribute to that and throw my band in the back of a truck like we were on our way to that party,” Butts says. "I called up Chris Beyrooty to direct and we headed to Taylor Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch in Weatherford, TX. With the band dressed in their skivvies, we hit record and captured something hilariously beautiful."

In the spirit of her first covers EP, 2022’s Sad Yeehaw Sessions, the Yeehaw Sessions sees Butts re-record, reimagine, and reinvigorate a handful of personal favorite tunes accompanied by her live band.

“A couple years ago I put out an EP called Sad Yeehaw Sessions, a collection of sad covers that I have always loved and wish I had written myself.” Butts shares. “It fit perfectly with my album at the time, What Else Can She Do, which I had written during a difficult time in my life. After releasing Roadrunner!, which features much happier songs, I wanted folks to know that there were brighter days ahead. In keeping with that theme, we've created the antithesis of Sad Yeehaw Sessions, something upbeat, rowdy and fun….all cover songs that I’ve been performing live the last couple years."

After road-testing these renditions much to the delight of audiences everywhere, she has outfitted the EP with covers of “Red Wine Supernova” by Chappell Roan“Sin Wagon” by The Chicks,” “Tulsa Time” by Don Williams, as well as “The Middle.” Plus, it boasts a new recording of her viral hit “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead to Me),” infusing it with a rush of energy.

She will celebrate the arrival of Yeehaw Sessions on November 14 with a very special headline show at the largest honky-tonk in the world—Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, TX. Tickets are available HERE.

Throughout 2025, she has captivated crowds everywhere on tour with Sierra FerrellLainey WilsonMolly TuttleWyatt FloresThe Lone Bellow and Flatland Cavalry. Renowned for her stage presence, she’s also played with the likes of Ella Langley and Brothers Osborne in addition to electrifying festivals, including LollapaloozaTwo Step Inn,C2C, and Breakaway Festival. Not to mention, Opry NextStage touted her among its “Class of 2025, and CMT named her as part of its CMT Next Women of Country Class of 2025.

Howl Owl Howl Offers First Scent of '90s-Coded Throwback on "My Cologne"

After revealing their surprise formation last month, new rock group Howl Owl Howl is giving fans the first scent of its raw, sharp-edged sound. Dropping their debut song “My Cologne” (10/31), the trio of ‘90s alternative legends unveil a punchy garage rocker with a playful core, dedicated to the act of reinvention.

Written by Howl Owl Howl members Darius Rucker (Hootie & the Blowfish frontman/multi-Platinum country star), Mike Mills (R.E.M. co-founder/Rock & Roll Hall of Famer), and Steve Gorman (The Black Keys co-founder/former drummer), “My Cologne” features shared lead vocals from both Rucker and Mills, with a fist-pumping rhythm built on Gorman’s killer instincts.

But the new band’s lineup is not the only star-studded piece of the “My Cologne” story.

Scrappy and irreverent, the tongue-in-cheek anthem was actually inspired by Ariana Grande’s 2018 track “R.E.M.” – which then turned into a perfume line with a familiar feeling cassette-tape package. Mills says he found the possible connection to his iconic band too hilarious not to write about … especially since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

“I’m not dissing Ariana – in fact I got no problem with it at all,” he says with a laugh. “I just thought it was funny that either she was completely unaware of how weird that was, or she was aware and didn’t care. Either way, I thought I’d write a little song and say I want to smell like Ariana Grande.”

Stream or download Howl Owl Howl’s “My Cologne” Below.

Meanwhile, only a few days remain before Howl Owl Howl starts its first chapter on the road.

Showcasing the band’s longtime creative camaraderie and unique new sound, the Howl Owl Howl Tour 2025 features nine dates beginning November 3 in Indianapolis, Indiana, with additional stops stretching across the Eastern U.S. and Midwest.

Each show will combine three distinctive, award-winning talents in new and unheard ways, as the band performs their original music live for the first time – tunes steeped in the rebellious passion and forever-young philosophy of rock…yet designed in a different phase of life.

All tickets for the Howl Owl Howl Tour 2025 are on sale now. Full tour routing below.

About Howl Owl Howl:
As a true supergroup drawing on three of the most impactful careers in American rock, Howl Owl Howl is an elusive musical creature: a brand-new band with an old school rock ‘n’ roll soul. Founded by GRAMMY-winning Hootie & the Blowfish frontman/multi-Platinum country star Darius Rucker, REM co-founder/Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Mike Mills, and The Black Crowes co-founder and former drummer/lauded media personality Steve Gorman, Howl Owl Howl was born from friendship and the pure joy of collaboration, and is now powered by the world-class instincts of true originals, who are far from done making noise. Infusing roots rock with an open-minded alternative flair, the band’s first batch of music was 30 years in the making, matching a fluid, feel-oriented rhythm section to the barrel-chested vocal rasp of an iconic frontman. After moving in the same orbit through their hard-touring ‘90s heyday, an upcoming album captures the group’s wide range of sonic influence in melody-driven freeform style. From punchy garage rock and jangle pop to throwback soul, blues, and beyond, self-penned songs veer from deeply personal to colorful and quirky, on a set steeped in the rebellious passion and forever-young philosophy of rock…yet designed in a different phase of life. With more maturity and humility – but the same us-against-the-world swagger each member brought to their genre-defining first act – the near-mythical group hits the road in late 2025, swooping into a new era.

Jamey Johnson and Riley Green Team Up for Fiery Tune "Smoke," Out Now

Two Alabama powerhouses unite on “Smoke,” a new song performed by Jamey Johnson and Riley Green and co-written with Erik Dylan. Johnson and Green’s newest track explores the different creations of smoke, from anger and cars to gravel and cigarettes. Listen to “Smoke” Below.

Johnson also joins Green’s Damn Country Music Tour in November for nine dates:
Nov. 6  |  Grand Rapids, MI
Nov. 7  |  St. Louis, MO
Nov. 8  |  Kansas City, MO
Nov. 13  |  University Park, PA
Nov. 14  | Toledo, OH
Nov. 15  |  Peoria, IL
Nov. 20  | Lincoln, NE
Nov. 21  |  Oklahoma City, OK
Nov. 22  |  North Little Rock, AR

“It was Riley’s idea,” Johnson says of the song. “He called me and we booked some time to get together with Erik Dylan. We sat down and scribbled it out over the course of about an hour.

“It has an interesting sound to it, with one part going down while the other part is going up. I like the whole concept of this guy not being too upset about whatever she is mad at. That smoke probably has a lot to do with it.”

Written with Erik Dylan, Green and Johnson recorded “Smoke” at The Cash Cabin and Big Gassed Studios. “Smoke” is produced by Kyle Lehning and Jim “Moose” Brown and recorded/mixed by T.W. Cargile. Although Johnson previously worked with Lehning on a Randy Travis tribute record, this was the first time the two worked together from start to finish on one of his songs.

“It was just a blast getting to write with Riley and Erik and a great song to get to record with Kyle and Moose at the helm,” Johnson says.

Johnson and Green attended the same college, Jacksonville State, and share a deep love of Alabama and its people. “There’s a natural connection with us there,” Johnson says. “I was immediately impressed with his writing and singing.”

Although the good friends have performed live and played golf together, “Smoke” marks the first recording they have created together. Green and Johnson share a love of music and lots of laughter when they are in the same room.

"Writing this song with Jamey was a lot of fun,” Green shares. “After spending time on the road together earlier this year, it just felt natural to get in the studio and make some country music together."

Green and Johnson have appeared together at places such as Losers Bar and Grill in Nashville, the Windy City Smokeout, Green’s Buford Bonds Foundation Golf Tournament and Regions Celebrity Golf Tournament and have performed duets together, such as Johnson’s “In Color” and “High Cost of Living.” Videos capturing the two teasing each other while golfing have become popular online.

“One of my favorite things about Riley is his sense of humor, and he can take it as much as he dishes it out, so that’s why we are always hurling comments at each other,” Johnson says. “Recently, when one of the videos caught some traction, I felt bad about it. You don’t hear him giving me crap. You just hear me messing with him and it’s not a good look, so I had to call and apologize for that!”

Johnson jokes that he needs to apologize again to Green, this time for recording the song that was Riley’s idea soon after it was written. “I guess I should have talked to him before I ran into the studio and recorded it,” he says. “But I did what I did! I called and said, ‘Hey, where are you? I just recorded it.’ If he was thinking about recording it and putting it on his record, I guess I ruined that! My apologies to Riley Green.

“I am usually the guy that is pretty safe to write with because for 14 years I didn’t put anything out. Nobody had any indication that I would be running to the studio. Unfortunately for Riley, I had a studio session booked the next week, so we definitely grabbed ‘Smoke’ and went to work on it. I probably owe Riley a song!”

The song’s all-star band includes Jim “Moose” Brown on acoustic guitar and B-3 organ, Bobby Terry on steel and acoustic guitar, Shawn Camp on acoustic guitar, Larry Paxton on bass, Greg Marrow on drums, James Mitchell on electric guitar, Eric Darken on percussion and Wyatt Beard adding background vocals.

Rotten Sound Countdown to 'Mass Extinction'

Take cover, metalheads. After outrunning the apocalypse on their last long-player, Rotten Sound are back with another destructive burst of politically-charged grindcore. On their upcoming 11th EP, the underground veterans' worldview is more dire than ever. But Mass Extinction lays waste to all that's plaguing our society. The album's lead single, "Brave New World", pushes for unity over division behind a barrage of blast beats and relentless groove.

"This is one of the most aggressive songs on our new EP", says Rotten Sound. "'Brave New World' is about how misinformation, polarization, conspiracy theories and censorship has lead people into a state of distrust. Our strong sense of community has been replaced by skepticism and fear. The fight for coherent and reliable information is now a constant struggle".

Watch the hellish video for "Brave New World" Below.

Mass Extinction comes out December 12 on Season of Mist.

Few extreme metal bands have enjoyed the shelf life of Rotten Sound. The Finnish exports longevity is practically unheard of for grindcore. The band's core lineup of guitarist Mika Aalto, vocalist Keijo Niinimaa and drummer Sami Latva have been banging heads since 2004. Their high-speed blend of classic D-beat punk and Swedish death metal has only sharpened with each successive stab in the studio. "Brave New World" shatters your speakers like the perfectly-timed throw of a Molotov cocktail.

All eight songs on Mass Extinction were spliced from the same radioactive Petri dish that birthed Apocalypse. But Rotting Sound's whopping 11th EP is no half-life mutation. In just under 10 minutes, the band chew through a festering host of societal ills. Ushered in by an opening address from none other than Jim Jones, "Brave New World" warns against following party lines sown by divisive leaders. "Trust no one", Niinimaa screams over rapid-fire blasts and bludgeoning riffs that send the opposition ducking for cover.

The video for "Brave New World" was created by Shaumbra ArtVisuals.

Rotten Sound are ushering in Mass Extinction with a tour of South America alongside their Season of Mist labelmates DVRK and Brazil's very own Crypta.

Next year, the band will return to the grind with a fresh set of European headline dates in support of their new EP. Following this blistering ride with Repulsive Feast and Teething, Rotten Sound will return to the U.S. for a special set at Maryland Death Fest celbrating their classic albums Murderworks and Exit.

more dates coming soon...

Rotten Sound know how to get their message across. In just under 10 minutes, Mass Extinction chews through toxic consumerism, labor exploitation and other plagues on society. Lead single “Brave New World” pushes for unity over divisive politicking behind a barrage of blast beats. But while our leaders certainly need to clean up their act, there’s nothing stale about this band’s filthy brand of grindcore. Even the slightly optimistic “Idealist” gives way to a downright hostile groove upon Niinimaa’s screaming command.

“Wake up!” With so much atomic force, it’s impossible not to heed Rotten Sound’s warning on Mass Extinction.

SOULFLY | RELEASE MUSIC VIDEO FOR 'NO PAIN = NO POWER' + CHAMA OUT NOW!

Arizona extreme metal trailblazers SOULFLY deliver their tribally fueled thirteenth album CHAMA via Nuclear Blast Records. Once again, a remarkable testament to the Brazilian songwriter’s natural affinity for slamming yet rhythmic riffs that defined his signature sound to listeners around the world. A true return to the spiritual upbringing of SOULFLY that somehow bears a modern-day edge and vitality. Something that could only be attained by a true master of the craft, and Max has stunned us all again.

Heavy and utterly relentless, 'No Pain = No Power' is SOULFLY's unbreakable war cry. This punishing track captures the band in full battle mode—raw and driving—with guest firepower from Gabriel Franco (Unto Others), Ben Cook (No Warning), and the crushing guitar of Dino Cazares (Fear Factory). It's a defiant anthem: strength forged through struggle.  Watch the music video directed by Zyon Cavalera and edited by Cody Longhere, Below.

Max Cavalera states, "To me this is the ultimate guest song and video. Nikolas Motta, Biaggio, Dino, Igor A, Bootsie, Gabe, and Ben made this a collective masterpiece! Zyon took this album and video to the next level. It’s the first time he wrote a script and directed a music video. Mixing UFC and Metal will hopefully inspire a whole new generation of fans! Chama!!"

Zyon Cavalera comments, “It feels like just yesterday watching UFC fights with my family talking about how cool it would be to connect with a fighter. Then we saw Pereira using ‘Itsari’ and were hooked ever since. ‘No Pain = No Power’ goes to show your dreams are not so far away.”
