4x #1 hitmaker John Morgan is ready to turn up the heat this fall with his highly anticipated “Friends Like That” Tour, and today he’s revealing the crew who will be getting the crowd amped and ready for an unforgettable night. Named after his breakout, chart-topping single featuring Jason Aldean that’s taken over playlists, radio stations and speakers across the country, the country music maverick invites out Brent Anderson, Jeb Gipson, and Ryan and Rory for an epic first-ever headlining run that will span 20-dates nationwide. 

With the captivating artist-on-the-rise’s reminiscent “Kid Myself” climbing the country radio charts, John shares: “This tour is a celebration of the friends who’ve had my back. Brent Anderson co-produced and co-wrote alongside John Morgan on his critically acclaimed debut album, Carolina Blue — a project MusicRow hailed as “a greatest hits collection in waiting,” and the Tennesseanpraised as “a studied, hit-laden road to Nashville country stardom.” Anderson - an artist, songwriter and producer with his own impressive resume - truly helped John mold the soul of this album, helping him shape a debut that feels less like a first chapter and more like a breakout moment years in the making.

When John first moved to Nashville, he shared a house with longtime friend and fellow artist Jeb Gipson. One afternoon, while John was mowing the lawn, he got a life-changing phone call — Jason Aldean was on the line, offering him a record and publishing deal. Thinking it had to be a prank, John dropped everything, sprinted inside, and found Jeb to make sure he wasn’t imagining it. That day, Jeb became a first-hand witness to the moment John’s career officially took off.

Labelmates, John and Ryan and Rory first crossed paths at CMA Fest, where they quickly bonded over the shared experience of being new artists navigating Nashville’s ten-year town. What started as casual conversation backstage turned into a fast friendship rooted in music and hustle.

Omnium Gatherum Release "My Pain" Video From New Album "May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way"

After releasing "The Last Hero," the first song and video from their upcoming album May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way that arrives November 7, Omnium Gatherum are presenting "My Pain." The video was done by their longtime partner Jari Heino for Coldstore Productions.

Vocalist Jukka Pelkonen says, "'My Pain' is a story about the toughness one faces when adversary appears. It is about the rising emotions of anger, fear, and apprehension, basically the time fight or flight mode shows its face. It is common among street gangs and soldiers but also between friends, lovers, and amongst family ties. It is a story of conquering these feelings and becoming your own master."

The dedicated road dogs have recently announced more extensive, worldwide touring that starts with a North American tour in November and December that is followed by a European tour in February and March of next year.

Wind Walkers Announce New EP 'I Don't Belong Here' Out October 3 via Fearless Records + Drop "Silk & Static" Official Music Video

It's a great day to be a Wind Walkers fan! The band announced their forthcoming EP 'I Don't Belong Here' out on Friday, October 3 via Fearless Records. In celebration of the news, the quintet has dropped their new track "Silk & Static"and the official music video. Amidst glitchy electronics blended with crushing riffs and seamless melodies, the song's central theme is especially relatable to those who have a neurodivergent condition. When asked about the inspiration behind the track, Wind Walkersvocalist Trevor Borg shared:

"Writing "Silk & Static" was like staring into a mirror and unpacking every frustrating thing about myself. It came from a place of not understanding why my mind felt so chaotic all the time and why I kept getting in my own way. After recently being diagnosed with ADHD, the pieces started falling into place, and it shed a different light on the song. It was very eye-opening in the fact that I wasn't alone, and that this kind of internal noise or “static” is something others live with too. At its core, I wrote this song to offer comfort to people who can relate to feeling overwhelmed and misunderstood, while trying to make sense of themselves."

Pagan Folk Band FAUN Unveils New Single "Nimue (Featuring Chelsea Wolfe)" + Music Video

The Pagan Folk band FAUN are excited to unveil their new single, "Nimue (Featuring Chelsea Wolfe)," taken from their upcoming album, 'Hex,' due out on September 5th. The new single arrives alongside a music video, available below.

With “Nimue,” FAUN delve deep into the legendary world of King Arthur, telling the tragic tale of Nimue’s love for the sorcerer Merlin. Joined by exceptional American artist Chelsea Wolfe, whose soaring vocals infuse the track with mysticism and ethereal beauty, the band crafts a hymn to magic, marked by striking musical dynamics. “Nimue” leads us down an enchanted path, moving from intimate, narrative verses to explosive passages driven by pounding beats, electric guitars, and cascading hurdy-gurdy flourishes.

After being signed to Universal Music from 2012 to 2019, where they achieved gold and platinum success, FAUN released their first album on their own label, Pagan Folk Records, in April 2022. Titled 'PAGAN,' the album was met with enthusiastic praise from both press and fans, debuting at number three on the German album charts through a partnership with distributor Believe/Soulfood. Looking ahead, the band has announced plans to return to their musical roots with mystical, archaic folk and enchanted ballads on their forthcoming album, 'Hex,' set for release on September 5, 2025.

Shadow Work was produced by the band’s own Alex Erian and Eric Jarrin, while Christian Donaldson (CRYPTOPSY, SHADOW OF INTENT, SIGNS OF THE SWARM) handled mixing and mastering. The album marks a significant chapter for a band whose core lineup has remained largely unchanged since its inception. It’s a deeply introspective record that reflects both personal growth and the turbulence of the world around us. The artwork for the album was created by Eliran Kantor (HATEBREED, THY ART IS MURDER, CAVALERA).

Earlier this week, DESPISED ICON announced they would join headliner's SANGUISUGABOGG on their U.S. tour. Joining the package as support are DEFEATED SANITY, and CORPSE PILE. Prior to the 22-date trek, the band will make appearances at Festival de Musique Emergente and the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. JASON ALDEAN BRINGS FULL THROTTLE TOUR TO SOLD-OUT NASHVILLE CROWD

ACM Artist of the Decade and 3X Entertainer of the Year, Country powerhouse Jason Aldean brought his FULL THROTTLE tour to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville last night, playing “an amazing show” (Parade) with a jam-packed set list of 22 hits to the sold-out crowd. The inaugural Field & Stream Music Fest, set for October 3–5, 2025, at Carolina Adventure World, is bringing more than just country music to South Carolina this fall. Today, organizers announced details for the Outdoor Expo Experience — a full-scale attraction included with all fest tickets, offering hands-on activities, immersive villages, show specials, demos and the chance to live the Field & Stream lifestyle between artists sets.
 
The Outdoor Expo Experience will open daily at 12:00 PM, giving fans plenty of time to explore, shop and connect with their favorite outdoor brands before the music kicks into high gear each afternoon.

Trivium Announce "STRUCK DEAD" EP + Share "Bury Me With My Screams" Video

GRAMMY-nominated heavyweights TRIVIUM — vocalist/guitarist MATTHEW K. HEAFY; guitarist COREY BEAULIEU; bassist PAOLO GREGOLETTO; and drummer ALEX BENT — are thrilled to announce the release of their forthcoming, three-song EP STRUCK DEAD. It arrives on October 31 via longtime label Roadrunner Records. Pre-order it here. 

While it may only be three songs in length, in typical Trivium fashion, it packs a powerhouse punch, thanks to masterful riffing and the dual-style vocal prowess the band has built its nearly three-decade reputation on! It was produced by Trivium and recorded with Mark Lewis at the band's Hangar Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was mixed and mastered by Josh Wilbur.

Today, the band also shares the video for the first single "BURY ME WITH MY SCREAMS." The song premiered via Heafy's "Chaos Hour" show on Sirius XM Liquid Metal.

"In 2023, we decided it was finally time to take the next step with The Hangar space we purchased — it was time to turn it into a full studio," says Gregoletto. "We brought in designer Roger D'Arcy, thanks to an introduction from Mark Lewis, and set out on a year-long build. While construction was underway, we were deep in rehearsals for The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour, celebrating Ascendancy's 20th anniversary. What started as an idea to release one single during the tour quickly grew into two, then three, as we kept writing while we were waiting for the build-out to be completed."

He continues, "During that time, the energy of revisiting Ascendancy started bleeding into these new songs. Matt poured a lot of his personal struggles from the past year into the music, and we used the writing process as a cathartic release. Those sessions evolved into a three-song EP that we're incredibly proud of, and we can't wait to debut 'Bury Me With My Screams' live at Bloodstock Open Air Festival."

Trivium will embark on "The Ascend Above the Ashes" trek that kicks off October 31 in Myrtle Beach and runs through December 14, with an epic hometown show in Orlando.

Special guests Jinjer will appear, while Heriot will serve as support. All dates are below. Get tickets here.

Gorguts Announce North American Tour

After more than a decade since their last classic entry, Gorguts are finally returning to the studio. As they prepare to record the full-length follow-up to the critically acclaimed Colored Sands, the Canadian pioneers of technical dissonance are sharpening their axes by celebrating two of death metal's biggest landmarks. This fall, the band are touring North America with Death to All in commemoration of the 35th anniversary of Spiritual Healing and the 30th anniversary of Symbolic.       

"It is with great honor that we'll be sharing the stage with these death metal monuments", Gorguts' vocalist and guitarist Luc Lemay says. "Death had such an important influence on me as an artist. It's the band that made me want to become a death metal musician. Chuck was my idol, my inspiration. See you on stage. Be prepared for an evening of classic death metal!".

Death to All is the touring tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner and his pioneering band Death. The band includes drummer Gene Hoglan and guitarist Bobby Keolble, who both played on Death's album Symbolic. It also includes bassist Steve DiGiorgio, who played on Human and with Hoglan on Individual Thought Patterns. Max Phelps (Exist, ex-Cynic) rounds out the line-up on vocals and guitar.

"30 years of Symbolic and 35 years of Spiritual Healing", says Hoglan. "Two vastly different yet important eras of Death. Both albums are going to be a blast to represent".

When it comes to GORGUTS, you have to expect the unexpected. In an age of a postulated clash of cultures, mastermind Luc Lemay delivered Pleiades' Dust, a piece of music that is conceptually and lyrically based on the “House of Wisdom”, a medieval library based in Baghdad and at the heart of the Golden Age of Islam with its many scientific breakthroughs in various fields of learning. As Luc comments: “It is a story about curiosity, beautiful minds and sadly, about how man destroys great discoveries and achievements.” Musically there is more narrative feeling as each section is introduced in such a way that every riff has the space to evolve like a character in a story.
