The Callous Daoboys Announce New Album 'I Don't Want to See You in Heaven' out May 16 (via MNRK Heavy)

Atlanta, GA sextet The Callous Daoboys cordially invites you to The Museum of Failure, a sonic exploration of the band's newly announced album 'I Don't Want to See You in Heaven', with a grand opening date of May 16 (via MNRK Heavy).'I Don't Want to See You in Heaven' is the follow-up to the band's 2022 critically acclaimed full-length 'Celebrity Therapist' and 2023 EP 'God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys', nominated for 'Best Heavy Record' in the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) Libera Awards 2024. In their most personal album yet, listeners are welcomed 300 years into the future to such a place where mankind's farcical attempts at immortalizing greatness are on full display, including each of the 13 tracks on the album. However, such artifacts beg the question whether these were simply ahead of their time, or rightfully discarded by patrons?

Today's glimpse inside reveals the first exhibit, "Two-Headed Trout/The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog", along with the official cinematic music video. When asked about the inspiration behind the forthcoming album, vocalist Carson Pace shared:

The album is an artifact that’s been preserved, and hundreds of years in the future, you’re listening to this album in the museum. It’s a known failure, but the narrative is ‘if it survives forever, is it truly a failure?'

“Everything is very singular and personal. I’m not making an album commenting on anything societal or political this time, this is an album just for me. It’s every emotion I’ve felt and sobering thought since 2021. I can only make this album now, not in three years when I’m thirty, not ten years ago when I was seventeen. This is the snapshot of 24-27. A scrapbook of trial and error, or better yet, a Museum of Failure.

Speaking about "Two-Headed Trout/The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog", Pace commented:

We would like to proudly present our first preview of the 'I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven' collection, ahead of its full release. These two pieces do not represent a thesis or mission statement of the collection, but rather two extremities. If you’re a fan of us being a rock band, I have good news for you. If you’re a fan of us being a chaotic metalcore band, I have GREAT news for you. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Enjoy.

Dorothy Shares Official "Tombstone Town" Video (Feat. Slash) — WATCH // Announces Tour Dates

Rock sensation DOROTHY is kicking off 2025 with a bang, confirming her forthcoming headline tour immediately following the premiere of her trailblazing new music video for "Tombstone Town," featuring legendary guitarist Slash. All dates and details are below, including select support acts and key festival appearances.

The single, a gritty, boot-stomping anthem, which landed on Rolling Stone's "Songs You Need To Know" list and was lauded as a hit by Forbes, has been steadily climbing the charts and just hit No. 14 at Active Rock Radio — a testament to its undeniable power and Dorothy's growing impact in the rock world.

Watch the official music video for "Tombstone Town," which was directed by Rich Ragsdale, below

The video made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, and MTV Biggest Pop, marking a career milestone for Dorothy as she continues her meteoric rise.

"I'm so honored to have Slash join me on 'Tombstone Town,'" says Dorothy. "The song is an excerpt from my diary — born out of betrayal and heartache. The music video has a plot twist at the end, but ultimately, I wanted to send a message of forgiveness and resilience, rather than revenge. Writing this song was therapy for me."

Slash himself sums it up perfectly: "'Tombstone Town' is a sexy rock 'n' roll grind, featuring Dorothy's inimitable swagger and a killer guitar hook."

Building on the momentum of the single, Dorothy is hitting the road for a headline tour in support of her highly anticipated new album, The Way, arriving March 14 via Roc Nation. The album is truly a watershed moment for the artist, ultimately cementing her place among hard rock's elite players.  Pre-order it here.

About the album, the vocalist enthuses, "This album is a love letter to the fans. I'm letting them know everything is going to be okay, and we'll help each other find the way — even if we get lost at times."

*FESTIVAL

Projecting a full-bodied voice with every inch of her being, Dorothy Martin kindles a spark of hope into a flame as bright as the sun itself. The Budapest, Hungary-born maverick singer, songwriter, performer, and frontwoman of the Los Angeles-based eponymous band, Dorothy brings gusto, grit, and glory back to hard rock, exuding superstar-size confidence coupled with the quiet resolve of an old school Western anti-hero. She has unassumingly blazed her own trail with sold out tours, major collaborations, and over 1 billion streams already in the rearview.

However, her vision really catches fire on her fourth full-length album, The Way[Roc Nation].

Dorothy arrived with the force of a hurricane back in 2016, serving up the full-length debut ROCKISDEAD. Surging on all platforms on which fans discover new music, "Raise Hell" reeled in over 85 million Spotify streams followed by "Wicked Ones" with 77 million Spotify streams. The band organically attracted a diehard global fanbase with 28 Days in the Valley [2018] and Gifts From The Holy Ghost [2022]. KERRANG! hailed the latter as "a hot-blooded rock ‘n' roll record through and through," and RIFF raved, "Holy Ghost serves as a triumphant battle cry and a return to form." Perhaps, Outburn put it best, "It's her most bombastic and gloriously, victorious rock and roll work yet." Simultaneously, the singer took flight as the rare dynamo equally at home on a track with Slash and Nita Strauss of Alice Cooper or Staind and Scott Stapp of Creed. She even notably dueted with Stapp at the Grand Ole Opry.

Over the course of 2024, she carefully architected what would become The Way alongside songwriter and producer Scott Stevens [Halestorm, Shinedown, Daughtry]. Expanding the creative palette, they leaned into heavier rock spiked with a healthy helping of Southern swagger and country-style storytelling.

Ministry Announces ‘The Squirrely Years Revisited’ Out 3/28, Celebrating The Early Synth Pop Years With New Studio Takes

Al Jourgensen is finally making peace with the past. After the incredible reception to Ministry’s With Sympathy and Twitch-heavy set at Cruel World 2024, Jourgensen decided it was time to reexamine his long-dormant synth pop hits and give them a fresh polish 40 years later. The result is the forthcoming album, The Squirrely Years Revisited, out March 28 via Cleopatra Records.

Featuring 9 tracks (3 additional bonus tracks on CD), the album offers reworked versions of cult classic hits like “Everyday Is Halloween,” “Work For Love,” “I’m Not An Effigy,” and “I’ll Do Anything For You.” New music videos will soon be released for several tracks as well.

To celebrate the album and the new-old era of Ministry, the band — also including John Bechdel (keyboards), Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto (guitars), Pepe Clarke Magaña (drums) and Paul D’Amour (bass) —will embark on The Squirrely Years Tour beginning April 29, with a set dominated by Jourgensen’s earliest works. Opening support will come from Ministry’s old-school comrades, including Nitzer Ebb for the first half of the tour, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult for the second half of the tour; and Die Krupps on all dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 14 at 10 AM local time in each market.

“Since I hated my early stuff for decades, I decided to take ownership of it and do it right,” says Jourgensen.

The Squirrely Years Revisited follows the release of Ministry’s 16th studio album in 2024, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, and comes ahead of the final new studio album from Ministry in 2026, a record that has Jourgensen teaming up with Paul Barker once again.

ABOUT MINISTRY

Born in 1981 in Chicago, Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen, considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. In its early days, Ministry was identifiable by its heavy synth-pop material in line with the new sounds and technology that were being developed in the ‘80s. Ministry’s output began with four 12” singles on Wax Trax! Records in 1981 before the first LP With Sympathy in 1983 via Arista Records. As time progressed however, so did Ministry, quickly developing a harsher, and more stylized sound that the band soon became infamous for on seminal albums Twitch (1986), The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), and The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste (1989). With the release of Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and The Way to Suck Eggs (1992), Ministry hit an all-time high in the mainstream musical realm and received its first Grammy nomination. In total, Ministry has been nominated for a Grammy award six times. Eight more albums would follow before an indefinite break in 2013, only to be unearthed again in 2018 with AmeriKKKant, continuing to reflect Jourgensen’s views on the frightening state of society and politics. The 2021 album Moral Hygiene marked a new creative era of Jourgensen and the band. Ministry’s 16th studio album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, was released March 1, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Sleep Theory combine energetic hard rock and metalcore, alongside the powerhouse vocalist Cullen Moore. Praised by Jelly Roll and David Draiman, they've toured with Shinedown, Falling In Reverse, and Beartooth. In under two years, they became the fifth most-played artist on Active Rock radio. Afterglow and the Paper Hearts EP merge heavy rock with pop and R&B, producing anthemic bangers and emotional ballads. Saluted by Revolver, Loudwire, and Amazon Music as an Artist to Watch in 2025, they've become one of heavy music's biggest breakouts. With Afterglow, the quartet proves ready to ascend to the next level.

WARBRINGER Unleashes Explosive Second Single "The Sword And The Cross" | New Album "Wrath And Ruin" Out March 14

Modern thrash titans WARBRINGER recently set the world ablaze with the announcement of their highly anticipated new album, Wrath And Ruin, out March 14, 2025 via Napalm Records. Today, they return to unleash the furiously charged second single "The Sword And The Cross," alongside an official lyric video.

"The Sword And The Cross" continues the band's righteous crusade for justice and riffs, lambasting listeners with unrelenting blasts, and unsettling, gothic guitar duels. Frontman John Kevill remains steadfast in his convictions, lyrically exploring the dismay of modern conditions through the voice of a medieval lord cruelly mocking the listener.

About the single, frontman Kevill says: "'The Sword and the Cross' was the first song we wrote for Wrath and Ruin and sets the tone for the album. We have a dark, epic thrashing number where a callous lord tells the audience how and why he owns them. First, establishing himself with brute violence (the Sword). Second, legitimating himself with ideology (the Cross). The end of the song was written first, where this lord says that he is still present, and reigns in skyscrapers rather than castles, that his sons will own your sons, and he will own you long after he dies. I love this section and it feels absolutely maniacal and evil to sing.

"One of the chief themes on the record is 'techno-feudalism.' Though our rulers may have given up their crowns and titles, they never relinquished their power. The modern lords are no less our masters than the medieval ones were.

"Bend the knee, peasants, for we bring to you Wrath and Ruin. We bring the sword!"

Check Out "The Sword And The Cross" below.

Pre-Order New Album Wrath And Ruin HERE.

Wrath And Ruin's destructive opening duo of "The Sword And The Cross" and "A Better World" quickly kick the gates of cataclysm open with broodingly dark guitar work and virtuosic precision. Frontman John Kevill's passionate proclamations are as potent as ever, mocking those who scoffed at clear harbingers of societal collapse with their misguided optimism. "Neuromancerrides low and steady with blast master Carlos Cruz putting some serious stank on an irresistible battle vest fist pumper. "The Jackhammer" sees the band explode into a frenzy with chaotic riffage and ear splitting pinch dives. "Through A Glass, Darkly" indulges in deliciously gothic chord work and melodic leads embellishing Kevill’s already hellish vocal fry. "Strike From The Sky" is trademark thrash excellence quickly followed by the atmospheric, true cult epic "Cage Of Air," with its tensely ornate dueling guitars on full display. Album closer "The Last Of My Kind" continues this dark gothic path with syncopated octave runs dancing around tightly dueling melodeath riffage.Wrath And Ruin sees WARBRINGER indulging in the darker elements of their sound, for an uncompromising and unflinching exploration of life’s most bitter pills.

WARBRINGER are currently gearing up to embark on the massive “Infernal Bleeding Over Europe 2025” tour in support of death metal legends Decapitated alongside Cryptopsy, and Carnation kicking off May 3, 2025 at London’s Incineration fest.

SEPTICFLESH has a remarkable ability to maintain continuity from album to album, while at the same time building on what has they have created in the past. Lyrical elements incorporated in all of their albums are based on opposites. For example, the ideas of heaven and hell, good and evil, or development and destruction have often served as metaphorical images in SEPTICFLESH's lyrics. Musically, the band also plays on opposites, using the dynamic differences between dissonant vs. melodic and dark vs. light to create a blend of gentle orchestral passages with the heavy wall of sound that produces something very unique in the world of Metal music. With the release of their most recent EP, Amphibians, SEPTICFLESH continues to create a story that is equally as compelling as the music. So, dive in and become immersed in the world of amphibian demigods, the Nommo. Behold the Amphibians!

New Music From PUSHING VERONICA “NOVOCAINE”

Brace yourselves for a sonic explosion

"NOVOCAINE" is here!

PUSHING VERONICA, the powerhouse alt-rock band known for their electrifying sound and boundary-pushing style, has just released their latest single. With blistering guitars, intense vocals, and a pulse-pounding rhythm section, "NOVOCAINE" is set to take over the airwaves and remind the world what hard rock is all about.

"NOVOCAINE"

is a story of the hardships people are facing in today's world where it seems that no one can get along with each other anymore. Sometimes the only way out of the crazy rigamarole of life is to anesthetize yourself in whatever form may be comforting whether it's good or bad.

Band Bio:

SoCal alt-rock powerhouse

PUSHING VERONICA first emerged as the brainchild of then-16 year old frontman

Julien Silvås, a lifelong musician who’d already established himself on the scene via a

Warped Tour appearance with his previous band, The Local Rebellion. Fixated on a mission to herald a renaissance in the worlds of pop-punk and rock, Julien continued to grow the lineup — currently consisting of original founding member and bassist Noah Rozansky, guitarist Hunter Kubat, guitarist Daniel Flores and drummer Jason Maser.

Known for their uniquely catchy signature sound, PUSHING VERONICA build on the groundwork laid by legends from Queens of the Stone Age and Rage Against the Machine to Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Offspring and beyond with an uninhibitedly irreverent approach. Lauded by major outlets like Alternative Press for their “infectious and high-spirited Green Day-like stylings”, the band have continued to grow their diverse and loyal fanbase over 4 US tours and a slew of other electric live performances to date.

Following a string of achievements including collaborating with renowned directors Dean Karr and Brian Cox on music videos and working with Grammy-winning producer Dave Schiffman, PUSHING VERONICA'S momentum is now at an all-time high as they prepare for their most ambitious year yet.

PUSHING VERONICA is emersed in a vote to be on the Ernie Ball Vans Warped Tour Battle of the Bands for a chance to perform on the 2025 Vans Warped Tour main stage and share over $100,000 in prizes.

Plans for extensive national and international touring — as well as for a string of new material — are already on the horizon,

all to be announced in due time.

Archers Release New Single "Never Enough" via SBG Records

ARCHERS, Wisconsin's powerhouse metalcore band, have dropped their latest hard-hitting single, "Never Enough," produced by Matt Good and available now via SBG Records. Known for their intense energy and emotionally charged lyrics, ARCHERScontinue to carve their name into the modern metalcore scene. In celebration of the release, Revolver Magazine premiered the official music video for the single, which can also be seen below.

The band will be on tour supporting Catch Your Breath beginning February 6th in Seattle, WA and will be playing multiple festivals this summer.

"'Never Enough' is a story too many of us are familiar with -the chemistry between two people who aren’t good for each other. These relationships are addictive by nature, and oftentimes toxic, resulting in conflict both internal and external. Never Enough addresses the uncomfortable side of this kind of relationship, acknowledging the 'temporary high' of lapsing into toxicity. Because although there’s conflict and you might know it’s unhealthy, breaking the bonds for good is a lot harder than dealing with the familiarities with the thing you’ve come to know,"says the band.

STREAM "Never Enough"

WATCH BELOW:

Wisconsin-based band ARCHERS is a force to be reckoned with. Emerging in 2015 as the brainchild of founders Ben Koehler (guitar) and Nathanael Pulley (lead vocals), the duo laid the foundation for a dynamic musical journey. Sharing a passion for both the metalcore and pop-rock worlds, it wasn’t long before their casual creative outlet became a project that encapsulates the ups and downs of life, mental health, and relationships. With Oscar Porter (bass/vocals) and Grayson Mesarosh (drums) later joining the ranks, the members of ARCHERS continue to carve their path in the music industry on their own terms.

The turning point for ARCHERS arrived in 2020 with the release of their EP, New Normal. Their infectious soundscapes and introspective lyrics reminiscent of scene heavy-hitters like Dayseeker and Sleep Token resonated with listeners early on in their sonic development. From then on, the band has only fine-tuned their sound with standout singles like “Bitter” and “Say This Sober.” Each song weaves a story that is both vulnerable and visceral, a juxtaposition that resonates with the band’s loyal fanbase. There is strength and power to be reclaimed in the darkest of times, and ARCHERS find the light through their punchy blend of distorted guitars and soulful vocals.

Venturing beyond the studio, ARCHERS has been consistently touring across the country since 2022. From making waves at Louder Than Life Festival and Blue Ridge Rock Festival to selling out rooms alongside acts like Savage Hands and Boys Of Fall, the energy and passion poured into their live shows continues to propel them forward. Gearing up for the release of a new EP in 2025, the future of ARCHERS looks bright.

Post-punk legends Pink Turns Blue presents 'Dancing With Ghosts', previewing 'Black Swan' album and European tour dates

European post-punk stalwarts Pink Turns Blue present their new single 'Dancing With Ghosts' and accompanying video, confronting the agonizing reality of toxic relationships, those soul-draining connections we often share with the people closest to us.  It's a raw exploration of the struggle to escape the "ghosts" of the past and the arduous, but ultimately liberating, journey toward self-preservation.

This is the third offering from their forthcoming album 'Black Swan', a term used for an unexpected event that, in retrospect, is rationalized as if one could have prepared for it. This record is set for release on limited edition vinyl, CD and digitally via Orden Records on February 28,

Earlier, the band shared 'Stay For The Night', a celebration of the postpunk - goth rock - darkwave community, and the lead track 'Black Swan (But I Know There Is More to Life)', the album's only ballad, which delves into profound questions about existence, life’s purpose and the beauty of the world.

Today made up of Mic Jogwer (vocals, guitar), Paul Richter (drums) and Luca Sammuri (bass), Pink Turns Blue - named after a Hüsker Dü song - emerged in 1985 in the first generation of gothic rock. Their debut album 'If Two Worlds Kiss' advanced the darkwave sub-genre while becoming a seminal post-punk album. Emerging from the fear and uncertainty of a divided Cold War Germany and inspired by Joy Division, The Sound and The Chameleons, they have since released a dozen full-length LPs and have become known for their trademark blend of post-punk, alternative rock and new wave.

Mic Jogwer shares, "An exclamation to escape a complicated relationship, 'Dancing With Ghosts' is a song about our difficulty of breaking out of an unhealthy bond. Some last a lifetime – and are not good for us at all. They suck all our energy, never give, always take. And whatever we do, it's never right and never good enough. And since it's often our best friend, mother, or sister, it feels like we owe them something, but every time we try to do something good for them, we just feel miserable and used. There is no easy way out, because whatever we do, we lose. These spirits will haunt us forever unless we challenge them and eventually manage to leave them behind. We're Dancing With Ghosts."

After the widely acclaimed ‘Tainted’ album in 2021, the companion 'Tainted Tour 2022' EP and successful American and European tours with often-sold-out concerts, this new studio album will be followed by their 'Black Swan' tour, which sees them visit clubs through Germany in April.

Pink Turns Blue has achieved pretty much everything an indie band could wish for - Album of the Year (Byte FM), Best Album of 2021 (Post-Punk.com), singles reaching number 1 in the German Alternative Charts and Indie Disco Top 40, excellent reviews in worldwide music press, well attended and sold-out club concerts spanning from Los Angeles to Yerevan.

As of February 7, 'Dancing With Ghosts' is available everywhere, including Apple MusicSpotify, and Bandcamp. The full 'Black Swan' album will finally be released on limited-edition vinyl and CD editions, as well as digitally on all streaming platforms, on February 28. It can now be pre-ordered in physical formats, or digitally via Bandcamp.  Tickets for Pink Turns Blue's upcoming tour dates can be ordered at https://pinkturnsblue.com/ live-dates.

OBSCURA - Unleash A Sonication + Watch The Video For 'In Solitude'

Germany-based progressive metal titans OBSCURA return with A Sonication, the highly anticipated second installment of their ambitious trilogy concept, out now via Nuclear Blast Records worldwide. This marks the band’s seventh full-length release and their second with Nuclear Blast, showcasing a bold evolution in sound while staying true to their signature complexity and innovation.

Elegant yet commanding, A Sonication seamlessly bridges OBSCURA’s past and future, capturing their relentless pursuit of musical progression. Written and recorded during extensive worldwide touring in support of their previous album, A Valediction, the new record was finalized with award-winning producer Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman (In Flames, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects) in Gothenburg, Sweden. With the instrumental tracks completed, frontman Steffen Kummerer finished vocals and acoustic guitar sections using custom-built ENGL amps, while Nordström helmed the mixing and mastering process. The result is a heavier yet brighter sonic landscape, underscoring OBSCURA’s commitment to refinement and expansion.

Lyrically, A Sonication delves into layered meanings and interpretations. The title itself—derived from the process of using sound waves to agitate particles—offers a multifaceted perspective, blending scientific principles with philosophical introspection. Each composition embodies a personal episode from Kummerer’s life, further connecting the album to A Valediction as part of the ongoing trilogy. To visualize the album’s theme, acclaimed artist Eliran Kantor (Testament, Kreator, Hatebreed) was enlisted, crafting a silver-toned aesthetic that seamlessly complements OBSCURA’s sonic and visual identity.

To mark the release of A SonicationOBSCURA unveils the official music video for ‘In Solitude,’ offering fans a first glimpse into the album’s immersive world.

Watch the video below:

Mastermind Steffen Kummerer comments:

"With A Sonication our seventh full length album sees the light of day, and we can’t be more proud of the record and how it turned out. The overall introverted, almost melancholic vibe and pace matches perfectly with the theme of the second album of our ongoing trilogy that started a few years back, releasing A Valediction in 2021. The fragile and human touch, featuring edges and dynamics back to back, turned into a unique album to be heard best with a good system or classy headphones. Obscura will embark on a relentless touring schedule covering the next years. Listen to the record, and see you at a venue near you.“

Imminence Share Video For New Single "Death Shall Have No Dominion" — WATCH // U.S. Tour In March!

With the remarkable global success of the latest album The Black, released on April 12, Imminence have recently proven themselves to be one of the fastest growing acts in the modern alternative music scene. The astonishing results from the band's first full U.S. headline tour, resulting in a majority of sold out dates, a 100% sold out European headline tour in October this year, and the first-ever Australian headline shows completely sold out, mark the end of an outstanding 2024 for Imminence.

Even after the busiest year in the band's career, Imminence show no signs of slowing down.

2025 starts with the merciless release of the heaviest and most extreme track ever been composed by this Swedish armada.

If the last album was a journey through the deepest realms of The Black itself, the new single "Death Shall Have No Dominion" takes us right down to the bottom of the unforgiving, vicious, and ferocious void that is The Black. Seamlessly combining the unmistakable trademark string arrangements and lead violin melodies, performed by singer Eddie Berg, with an instrumental foundation that pays tribute to Scandinavian death and black metal, Imminence delivers a perfectly unique sound that the fans have chosen to name "violincore."

Watch the video below:

"Just when you might have thought that you knew what to expect, we turn around and give you a new single. And not any kind of single. I honestly don't think there has ever been a more extreme track coming from this band. We want to show you that The Black goes deeper and darker than you could ever imagine, and we intend to take you there with us," says guitarist Harald Barrett.

Imminence recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their debut album I, with a re-release featuring newly recorded vocals and new mix and master. The Reclamation of I has been nothing short of success and with a million total combined online followers, 400,000,000 streams, and sold-out shows all over the world, Imminence highlight the journey taken over the past decade by the announcement of their first European arena headline shows. The brand new show concept "The Black Finale" will present the band like never before and take place in five carefully selected cities in December 2025. Directly following the release of "Death Shall Have No Dominion" comes "The Black Tour: Scandinavia 2025," followed by "The Return of The Black Tour: North America 2025," both tours with already high demand on tickets in all territories.

Scotty McCreery Joined by Christian Artist, Jason Crabb for New Version of “Red Letter Blueprint”

2024 was another milestone year for Triple Tigers Recording artist Scotty McCreery. From being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry to headlining his blockbuster Fall of Summer Tour to releasing his critically acclaimed album Rise & Fallnamed one of the 30 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2024 by Rolling Stonethe singer/songwriter continued to push himself to new heights creatively.

Showing no signs of slowing down, McCreery is starting 2025 with a moment of reflection releasing an updated version of his country and gospel blending “Red Letter Blueprint” featuring GRAMMY and Dove Award winning Christian artist, Jason Crabb. Called “nostalgic yet fresh, with faith references that candidly reflect the singer's real-life core beliefs” by Taste of Country upon release last year, listen to the new version of “Red Letter Blueprint” HERE.

The pair are set to give their first live performance of the song on the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, Feb. 11. This will also be McCreery’s first performance on the stage during the Opry100 year-long celebration. Visit Opry.com to purchase tickets.

“Jason’s voice is just out of this world powerful,” McCreery shares. “When he sings, you can feel the emotion in every note and the belief in every word. I’m a fan, and it’s an honor to have him sing this song with me.”

“I’m so excited to be joining my friend Scotty on such an incredible song as ‘Red Letter Blueprint,’” said Crabb. “His talent is beyond compare, and he’s one of the greatest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. It’s an honor to be singing alongside him, and I can’t wait to play this song live for everyone next week on the Grand Ole Opry stage!”

McCreery’s lead guitarist Spence Peppard, who used to play in Crabb’s band, connected the two singers for the collaboration. A road-family-affair of sorts, Peppard co-produced the new track along with McCreery’s bass player Nathan Thomas and long-time McCreery producer Frank Rogers.

Written by McCreery, Derek George, Brent Anderson, Jeremy Bussey, and Monty Criswell, “Red Letter Blueprint” is a comforting ballad of faith and inner strength. Both patient and gentle, yet solid and strong, McCreery leans on the plans that never fail. Building from a tender piano melody and the crooner’s convicted yet empathetic vocal, the track implores the listener to take solace in the belief that no matter how far away true peace seems, the path to get there is clearly marked.

Rise & Fall, which features the original version of “Red Letter Blueprint,” is McCreery’s most critically acclaimed album to date, with Billboard naming it one of the 50 Best Albums of 2024 (So Far). The album’s first single, “Cab in a Solo,” became his sixth No. 1 hit. Listen to the album Rolling Stone says is “every bit as legit as Jamey Johnson’s That Lonesome Song, Garth Brooks’ In Pieces, or Randy Travis’ Storms of Life,” HERE.

“Across the 13-track collection, McCreery exhibits his continued growth as a vocalist and songwriter,” notes HollerPeople echoes the sentiment, writing that the album “brims with a newfound confidence and maturity,” while Country Now calls it “his best record yet,” and American Songwriter declares it a “career album” as Rise & Fall finds him exploring not only heartbreak but rowdy nights, nostalgia, faith, newfound joy, fatherhood and enduring love, resulting in a project full of insightful storytelling. The album was produced by McCreery’s longtime production team of Frank Rogers, Derek Wells and Aaron Eshuis.

McCreery co-wrote 12 of the 13 songs on the album, which Billboard observes, “Light-hearted fare such as ‘Stuck Behind a Tractor’ and ‘And Countin’’ mesh with heartbreak brushoffs such as ‘Lonely,’ the bluegrass-inflected album-closer ‘Porch’ and the faith-filled ‘Red Letter Blueprint.’” It is available digitally as well as on CD and vinyl. Order autographed vinyl and CDs of Rise & Fall HERE.

McCreery will join Kane Brown for his The High Road Tour as direct support on March 27 (including Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on April 11), with tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster. Brown recently released his track “Says I Can (The High Road Tour Version)” featuring his tourmates McCreery, Mitchell Tenpenny, Ashley Cooke, and Dasha to streaming outlets.

The North Carolina native will also perform at this year’s Stagecoach Festival on April 27. Tickets are on sale at StagecoachFestival.com

CLASSIC ROCKERS THE SWEET RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE/VIDEO, "INSANE” OUT TODAY

Coming off a banner year in terms of taking their live performances to the maximum of limits, rock greats Sweet still possess exceptional chemistry, which recently brought the house down throughout venues across North America.  At the same time, the band released a new song/video, “Little Miracle,” which was received with rave reviews.  Today, Darkstar Records is releasing the bands next single release “INSANE,” which can be heard below.

Last year while cutting “Little Miracle,” the group jammed in the studio which exemplified a fresh new approach which utilized instant spontaneity in creating and producing this hard rock masterpiece “INSANE.” Bassist/producer Stevie Stewart commented, “'Insane' is a song that we are very proud of! We all poured our hearts into the creation of it. Everyone brought their 'A' game to 'Insane'!"

Drummer/composer Richie Onori also added, "As we started to blast into the high-power groove, singer Patrick Alan Stone directed the band with his hands flailing about, you could see he heard in his head which eventually took shape in the final heavy metal rendition The comic strip lyric video really illustrates the well-crafted storyline that Stone created. Guitarist Jimmy Burkard blistering solo section rivals hands down the who’s who of guitar heroes of yesteryear. Stevie Stewart’s incredible vocal arrangements and overall production in my own opinion.”

"I wanted to write a rocker that hits you in many ways," added Burkard. "It’s tough, it makes you tap your feet, it makes you sing along. Aggressive but with catchy harmony vocals, killer guitar and swinging drums. It felt good to be in a rehearsal room and write organically as a band."

“'Insane' flew into my head like a bat out of hell," said Stone. "I went into the shower without it, came out and in my head it was done. I sent Jimmy a voice memo humming the song and he sent back the sick riff on guitar the way we hear it in the recording. We shared it with the band while recording 'Little Miracle' and got so into it, Richie hammered the drums down on the spot. Working the track with Stevie in post really brought that 'sweet sound”' that only working with Steve Priest for almost two decades can bring. The lyric 'Insane' popped out during that recording session, as well. The hook was there. After watching the movies 'X' and 'Maxxxine,' a character in my head came to life and I wrote the lyrics to this half imaginary, half true love, heroine. 'Insane' really takes Sweet back to its roots of dirty rock n' roll, crazy chord changes and larger than life harmonies. This is The Sweet we’ve been waiting for and this band is proving that the integrity of Brian, Mick, Andy and Stevie lives on in us.”

Merging the “Sweet” recognizable sound into what the legendary group always stood for: exploration into all genres without losing the integrity by stitching together the groups special formula, “Insane” does all of the above. The rhythm section of Stewart and Onori lay it down as this rock n' roll work of art glides along fast and furious towards a wild roller coaster ride into a cascade of vocal and guitar harmonies.

The group is now tracking a song that has been in the group archives which Steve Priest wrote and played bass and sang, "Sweet Dream." Sweet's reformation started in 2007, and 'Sweet Dream' was something he was proud of.

This new song demonstrates the same driving force and unpredictable musical quality that has always been the hallmark and essence of The Sweet’s iconic sound. And will always be.
