About Jason Aldean:

ACM Artist of the Decade and 3X ACM Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean has garnered nearly 30 No. 1 career hits, over 18 billion streams, and more than 20 million albums sold with “his own recipe…one that has vaulted him to the pinnacle of Country music success” (Atlanta Journal Constitution).  His history-making and prolific career has included nearly two decades of chart-topping hits, including “Dirt Road Anthem,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” “Fly Over States,” “She’s Country,” “Big Green Tractor,” “Amarillo Sky” and more. The Grammy-nominated hit-maker earned the most Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart-more than any other artist- since his debut in 2005, with “songs of small-town living, love and loss that have resonated with a loyal fanbase” (Billboard). With the 2023 release of his 11th studio album, HIGHWAY DESPERADO, and his sold-out nationwide Highway Desperado Arena Tour, Aldean continued his “country superstar status" (Variety). The album earned the Georgia native his first career Hot 100 chart-topping hit with “Try That In A Small Town”- which earned Billboard Award nominations (2023) for “Top Song Sales Artist” and “Top Selling Song”- as well as the fan-favorite track “Let Your Boys Be Country” and current single, “Whiskey Drink.” Produced by longtime producer Michael Knox, Highway Desperado followed Aldean’s double album, MACON, GEORGIA, which earned the singer/songwriter praise for honing “in on his vision for this era of his career” and kicking off “his career's next era” (The Tennessean). The project’s featured the history-making, multi-week No. 1 Grammy-nominated "powerful duet" (Rolling Stone) “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood, which won ACM Single of the Year, iHeartRadio Country Song of the Year, and CMT Collaborative Video of the Year as well as Billboard and GRAMMY nominations. Currently in the studio working on new music, Aldean most recently graced the cover of Hook & Barrel Magazine’s January 2025 Cover, where he spoke about his career to date and new music and what is on the horizon in 2025. BLEED FROM WITHIN - Release Video For New Single 'A Hope In Hell'

Fresh off a monumental tour supporting genre greats SLIPKNOT across the UK and Europe, BLEED FROM WITHIN have released the video for their new single 'A Hope In Hell'. The latest cut from the new album Zenith, which is set for release on the 4th April via Nuclear Blast Records, is a brooding, anthemic slab of the kind of cutting-edge, modern metal that BLEEDhave become synonymous with.

On the new single, the band comment:

"'A Hope In Hell' is one of the more melodic cuts from our latest album and one that we all connected with early in the writing process. The evolution of this song is a great indicator of what we've explored on our latest release; we've pushed ourselves melodically but also found a dark and heavy groove that really underpins our sound. Looking at the lyrics, life doesn't get any easier and everyone you know is dealing with its challenges. We are caught in repeating cycles of adversity and hardship, but our perception can change once we accept that growth is on the other side of such things. Take from that what you will just know that we're rooting for you. Enjoy."

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Daryl Hall is launching his 2025 international touring slate with a series of shows featuring opening act Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze starting March 22nd at the Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas, ending May 25th at the Brighton Centre in the U.K. and including a date at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on May 19th. See full tour dates below.

Tilbrook has previously performed with Hall on his award-winning web series, Live from Daryl’s House. “I’ve toured with Glenn in the past, and I’m a fan of his songs, and it will be great to work with him again,” said Daryl, whose previous tours included acts Howard Jones, Elvis Costello and Todd Rundgren. The format is the same, with Tilbrook performing a solo set in front of the house band to open, then joining Daryl Hall on-stage to close the show.

Added Tilbrook, “I am so excited to be playing with Daryl and his fabulous band this year. After having a blast touring with them in 2021, and re-igniting the flame in Daryl’s House in 2023, I look forward to reuniting with them and playing some of my favorite songs, Daryl songs and some other stuff that you’ll love! Come down and don’t break the furniture.”

After opening night in Houston on March 22nd, Hall and Tilbrook will hit San Antonio, St. Louis and Erie, Pennsylvania, among other U.S. stops before heading over to the U.K. May 17th for dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Brighton as well as the May 19th show at the Royal Albert Hall

in London which will represent Daryl’s first-ever solo performance there. Another leg of the tour will be announced shortly.

2024 was a very busy year for Hall. He celebrated the 10th anniversary of his Pawling, NY venue, Daryl’s House, with a free concert for fans on October 31st.

Hall also toured with Elvis Costello, and released D, his first solo album in 13 years, co-produced by fellow RHOF inductee Dave Stewart, who co-wrote seven of the nine new original songs, with Hall penning the other two, on Virgin Records.

Loss Becomes Release "Sonder" Album + Share "Blink Once" Video

LOSS BECOMES — Brian Tsao, guitar; Will Gomez, bass; Anthony Copozzi, vocals; Anthony Lopardo, guitars; Sean Ageman, drums — have released their new album SONDER today, January 21. Get the album, which is being released digitally via The Orchard, here.

Limited edition colored vinyl and limited edition digipak CDs will be available via Silent Pendulum Records (SPR). Those items are available here.

Today, the band has shared the video for "Blink Once," a thrashy banger that captures the band in live performance mode.

Watch the video, which premiered over at Revolver, below.

"Life moves very fast," says Copozzi, offering insight into the song. "Sometimes relationships grow and last forever, and sometimes relationships shatter into a million pieces and that person becomes a stranger on the street. Some of the people you start out life with usually aren't at the finish line with you. Some of them leave and then come back. Most of the time, you realize the fact that they never filled your cup after you've been filling theirs for years. It's not fun when you realize some of the closest people in your life aren’t actually rooting for you at all. Sometimes they are rooting against you. This song is about exactly that. 'Blink once and you’ll miss me.''"

About the album as a whole, he explains:

"Sonder: The feeling one has on realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one's own, in which they are the central character and others, including oneself, have secondary or insignificant roles.

'Sonder' is a word that has helped me connect a few dots about the lyrical content for this record, after the fact. I owe the title to my oldest brother Danny aka Yogi Reben.  We "stroke philosophy" sporadically over the phone. He's not local to me anymore but we touch base regularly. Over time, I try to be more considerate and understanding of my surroundings. Especially the people — be it strangers or even close friends and family.

"I applied that perspective to the lyrics on this record, which all have different emotional points of views — both mine and others. It's not a concept record, but each song touches upon one another in some way."

ABOUT LOSS BECOMES:
Hailing from Queens and Long Island New York, Loss Becomes are not your typical metal band. Guitarist, YouTuber, and Chef/Owner of Mission Sandwich Social, Brian Tsao, has put together a band like few others. Accompanied by long time friend Will "Doc" Gomez (Johnny Cage is a Fake, Tiger Flowers), Anthony Copozzi (Thracian), Anthony Lopardo (Westfall Recording Company), and Sean Ageman (Washed Up Media), Tsao and his bandmates have shaped Loss Becomes into a unique blend of metalcore with flashes of nu metal, hardcore thrash, and more. Having initially crafted their sound during the depths of the pandemic, Loss Becomes journey hasn't always been an easy one. After several years of hard work, the end product has been unleashed upon the world to critical acclaim. The music is unforgivingly aggressive with Anthony Copozzi’s ferocious enthusiasm heard on every lyric, giving the band what can only be described as a full aural assault. Loss Becomes are hungry and are forgetting their manners. Having performed alongside such acts as Alien Weaponry, Darkest Hour, Dr.Acula, Dying Wish, Extinction AD, Moon Tooth, Norma Jean, Swollen Teeth, and more, the band is no stranger to the stage. Loss Becomes are ready and able to take on all challenges regardless of genre and deliver a crushing live set.

Dead Bars to Release "All Dead Bars Go to Heaven" 3/21 + Share "Give the Metalhead a Hug" Video

Seattle's DEAD BARS — John Maiello, C.J. Frederick, Jon Oddo, Elliot Thordarson, and Rosie Gonce — were described by Razorcake as a band that "makes something impossible to duplicate look so simple and attainable." #Truth

For over a decade the band, founded and led by Maiello, has been belting out life-affirming hard rock with the same gift for the craft as acts like Japandroids, White Reaper, and Fucked Up. Since then, they've earned both national accolades and a reputation as a local institution, the band you're likely to see sweating it up onstage any given night.

Their newest record, All Dead Bars Go To Heaven, reminds us that there's "arguably no better Seattle band," according to The Seattle Times. It arrives on March 21 via Iodine Recorings. Pre-order it here or here.

The album boasts 10 hook-laden heavy hitters, from rousing opener "I Wanna Be A Ghost" to anthemic closer "Be Me." It also comprises a new chapter: a reintroduction to a new generation ready to escape the grind, as well as a reminder to the previous one of their potency. The emphasis is on heaven: a place of eternal reward for a life lived virtuously, regardless of the love or loss that once defined it. When the band cries "Dead Bars Forever," they mean it.

Today, Dead Bars share the video for "Give the Metalhead a Hug." Watch it below.

"I was listening to a lot of grindcore and Chumbawamba when I wrote this song," says Maiello. "I grew my hair long. I worked at a metal venue/bar in Seattle. The metalheads were nice to me. The metalheads supported each other. This song is a reflection on the act of kindness, believing in your fellow humans, and finding community in an unlikely place."

Grindcore and... Chumbawamba? Amen to that!

Additionally, fans can listen to the Dead Bars x KEXP takeover on Saturday, January 18 from 10-11pm PT. The band will sit in studio, spin some tracks, and talk with Dr. West on "Sonic Reducer Punk Show." Tune in at KEXP.org.

Kenny Chesney + Jimmy Fallon Talk SPHERE, Friends + No Shoes Nation Last Night

Sometimes when you’ve got good news, show up and share it with the world. For Kenny Chesney, notoriously circumspect about everything except his music, being only the sixth band – behind Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees U2, the Eagles and Dead + Company, plus jam force Phish and electronic artist Anyma – to bring their iconic sound to Vegas’ Sphere was a strong reason to go to New York to talk, instead of play, music.

Having made the Sphere announcement at the start of “TODAY”’s 8:30 a.m. half hour, the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar stopped in at “The Tonight Show” to talk what made him take on the challenge of being the first country artist to play the groundbreaking venue, the fact he’d not seen a concert there before signing on and several good friends who share his penchant for creating and playing songs that touch people where they live, but also where they feel most alive.

“The great thing about Jimmy,” Chesney said about the host, “is he’s so musically curious, he always takes the conversation places you don’t see coming. Lots of people have asked me about the story Taylor told in TIME, but he wanted to know if I recognized her massive impact when she was 17… Lots of people have asked about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame performance for Jimmy’s induction, where I sang with James Taylor and Mac McAnally, but he understood what it meant to me on a soul level, and wanted to talk about how much we all miss him.

“That’s the reason when we made the decision to go into this new dimension with our live experience, I knew I wanted to dig into it with Jimmy Fallon. He not only wanted to understand what the work was to create something that required being built from the ground up, he wanted to know what it feels like to be at one of our shows.”

For Chesney, who has always relished a challenge, the idea of completely new visuals delivered in the highest possible definition on a screen that wraps all the way up and around the dome-shaped building was an opportunity to really consider what some of his most iconic songs mean. Known for its 167,000 individual speakers, which can be dialed in to each section with dazzling specificity, these 12 shows will allow No Shoes Nation to almost be consumed by the experience. Or as he joked earlier in the day, “Like they’ve never seen us before.”

Beyond breakout stories in USA Today, Rolling Stone, People, Los Angeles Times, New York Post, as well as trades and music-centered publications, including Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, POLLSTAR, HITS, Consequence, Holler, Music Mayhem and BillboardStereogumRELIX, Hollywood Reporter and Britain’s Daily Mail – plus radio across the nation -- all picked up the news.

Having extended his Billboard Country Airplay Chart record with “Take Her Home,” his 33rd No. 1, plus a dozen personal stadium records on his 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour, Chesney’s breaking ground and having fun taking No Shoes Nation into a whole new musical realm. “For people who consume this music so completely, I love the idea that now the music is going to consume No Shoes Nation with this full-on experience. There’s never been anything so completely immersive – and I’m honored that we get to take No Shoes Nation into this space, really have fun and give all that positive energy an even deeper dimension.”

Australia's WINDWAKER — vocalist Liam Guinane, guitarist Justin Keurntjes, bassist Indey Salvestro, drummer Chris Lalic, and synths/samples specialist Connor Robins — released HYPERVIOLENCE last summer via Fearless Records. The band also crashed domestic shores for their first-ever U.S. tour this summer, supporting Northlane. It was truly a smashing success where Windwaker won the audience over each and every night!

The band is dropping the HYPERVIOLENCE EXPANSION PACK deluxe record on February 14. Pre-order it here.

The EXPANSION PACK will include three new tracks, plus other surprises.

They share the video for "Arcane." Watch it below.

"'Arcane' encapsulates the emotions and inner battles when faced with moments of uncertain change," Guinane shares. "Written early on in my journey joining as Windwaker's vocalist, the song explores the push and pull of self-doubt and determination, resulting in an anthemic track embracing the weight of new beginnings and forging a path forward."

It's a fearlessly dynamic track that steadily builds its tension throughout, leading to a colossal breakdown and a torrent of riffs and screams. The song also highlights the band's effortless incorporation of synths and hip-hop cadences into its ballistic hard rock acrobatics. It also features a singalong chorus that will bellow in the crowds of all future Windwaker gigs.

Windwaker previously shared the visualizer for "Apathy." Watch and listen here.

Shattering all restraint, Windwaker tear at the seams of their sonic boundaries, refining and finessing their craft into something truly unique. Concocting an unsuspecting recipe of electro-charged violence, sickly sweet pop hooks, bouncing hip-hop moments and slick riffage, the charismatic quintet move towards exciting new territory with each new release. And HYPERVIOLENCE is the summit of their efforts.

Windwaker will return to the U.S. for their second-ever tour of the market this coming winter with fellow Aussies Make Them Suffer. All dates are below.

Emerging out of Melbourne, Victoria, the Australian outfit has cultivated a dedicated and passionate fanbase, amassing millions of digital streams since their inception in 2017. Last July's release, "SIRENS," has cracked over 5 million Spotify streams in just a few months time, and saw the band travel across the nation in celebration on the Love In The Dark Tour with Caskets (UK) and alt., selling out nearly every date along the way.

The band's debut album Love Language was released in 2022 via Fearless Records and Cooking Vinyl, demonstrated an unpredictable and undeniable exploration of love across 12 tracks. Windwaker translate their electric and eclectic energy on record to the live stage, with JB Hi-Fi's STACK Magazine last year reviewing: "From full-on mosh to sensitive slowdance, the five-piece delivered a propulsive statement on the status of modern metalcore." The band have carved their name into the core of Australia's alternative music community and have toured alongside some of metal's most favored acts — Beartooth (US), I Prevail (US), Motionless In White (US), Enter Shikari (UK), Caskets (UK), Creeper (UK), Northlane, and more.

Kenny Takes Live Into NEW Dimension: Sphere Residency in Vegas

For Kenny Chesney, known for exhaustive live shows that are long on the euphoria that comes from embracing the world and living life completely, it was only a matter of time until he found a new dimension. That moment is 2025, when the songwriter/superstar brings his full-tilt brand of American music to Sphere in Las Vegas.

“I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney says of his decision to make 2025’s tour a trip to the next-level venue. “Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean, how these songs are part of their lives. When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more.

“When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in. Just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”

The only country artist to be in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the last 15 years, Chesney joins the select cultural icons U2, Dead & Company, Eagles, Phish and Afterlife Presents Anyma to headline the 17,600-seat spherical venue that has redefined the live entertainment experience and employs next-generation technologies. Sphere is known for its 167,000 individual speakers, which can be dialed in to each section with dazzling specificity, and fully immersive visual capabilities that deliver over 171 million pixels across a 160,000 square foot screen wrapping up, over and around the audience, plus 4D technologies including haptic seats.

With technology so advanced, the video content had to be shot on a special camera developed specifically for Sphere’s configuration, these shows will deliver the eight-time Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year as he’s never been seen before. They will also heighten the sensation of the music as those speakers exist behind the 16K x 16K resolution wraparound screen, the world’s highest-resolution LED display.

So powerful was the technology that Chesney said “yes,” without ever attending a concert.

He explains, “When we started talking, I flew to Vegas with my key tour team. We stood on the floor as they ran the film of U2’s show and we were completely consumed. We could see the band, but it was so much more than that. It almost took what they were doing and multiplied it by another dimension.

“Knowing how much intensity our shows generate, my mind started thinking about all the things we could do. Once you see how the show wraps all the way around you, the dreaming begins.”

Kept under wraps for nearly a year, Chesney and his team, along with experts from Sphere Studios’ tech and creative teams, have been working to create what will be a whole new experience in the way his music is experienced. With a vast catalogue of songs to draw from, these landmark shows will deliver a fully immersive and completely unique experience.

To access the experience, there are several ways to find your dimension:

EIVØR Wins USA Songwriting Competition

She's serenaded crowds from the UEFA Champions League to The Game Awards, but on her latest album, Eivør reached several new milestones. The Faroe Islands superstar performed songs off ENN to sold-out crowds from Red Rocks to Hellfest.

Now, to kick off 2025 ahead of her upcoming North American tour, Eivør is proud to announce that she has been named a winner of the 29th USA Songwriting Competition. Her gently pulsating first single from ENN, "Jarðartrá / Dust to Dust", won the award for Best World music.

"I am thrilled and honored for our song 'Jarðartrá (Dust To Dust)' to have won the USA Songwriting Competition in the 'World Music' category", Eivør says.

"The track is a joint effort between myself and the Faroes poet Marjun Syderbø Kjelnæs - my long-time lyrical collaborator and dear friend.

I'm grateful to my dear Tróndur Bogason for co-production and arrangements on this track and to my band mates Mikael, Per, Mattias and Theodor for generously pouring your beautiful creativity into each note and each beat".

We are grateful and truly honoured to receive this prestigious award. Thank you
."

“Jarðartrá” was an especially fitting first single for ENN. Just like the extreme contrasts that define life at her home in the Faroe Islands, the song is dark yet glistening, swirling but propulsive. Eivør inhabits the perspective of a wounded mother earth, who calls to us with a steadily thumping bassline that’s as dark and warm as our planet’s molten core. “Come lie down in my blue embrace”, she sings, reaching into her operatic register, as if beckoning us toward the light.

"When I wrote this song, I envisioned the earth in its rawest elements: oceans, volcanoes, storms, soil”,  Eivør remembers. “We all have echoes of these elements within us, but maybe we tend to forget that we are part of nature and its endless circle of decay and growth”.

ENN is now available on Season of Mist.

After independently releasing her music for many years, ENN marks Eivør’s debut for the metal label Season of Mist—and though her compositions sit outside of any one genre, she is happy to be embraced by the metal community. She identified a shared pagan sensibility in her television scores like The Last Kingdom. “I never felt I really fit into any box,” said Eivør. “I just have to do it my own way.” Recorded with her touring band in the Faroe Islands—where she now lives again, splitting time between her homeland and Denmark—Eivør called ENN “my most pleasurable and also most painful process. I felt that I was stepping into a place where I hadn’t been before, and that’s always scary because you don’t feel that you touch the ground. But it opens up your creativity and takes you to someplace new. It’s woven together all my experiences for the past 10 years, and it’s grounded me.”
