The Last Seven Confirmed Bands to Rock FRF 2025!

ASIA

In 1982 John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, and Steve Howe became the founding fathers of supergroup ASIA, responsible for a string of multi-million-selling albums and chart-topping hits across the globe. ASIA’s self-titled1982 debut album was the biggest-selling album in the world powered by the classic rock anthem “Heat Of The Moment”, along with other timeless hits. Another multi-million seller, 'Alpha' followed in 1983, and in 1986 'Astra' completed the trio of MTV-era hits.

In 2006, the founder members reformed and released several new albums before John Wetton’s untimely passing in 2017. After some tours in the USA with different musicians, in the Summer of 2023, Geoff Downes spear-headed a memorial concert to celebrate the life of John Wetton. At the concert, he invited rock n roll veteran John Mitchell - who had played with both Wetton and Downes in Icon and in Wetton’s own band - to join him on stage, taking on lead guitar duties. The duo was joined by newcomer Harry Whitley, whom Downes had discovered and whose vocal talents so closely resembled that of Wetton’s. It was nothing short of spine-tingling. So it was that Geoff who made the decision to take a fresh, new-look ASIAback out on the road, recruiting Mitchell and Whitley as new members and bringing in the drumming excellence of Virgil Donati.

This line-up is here to stay and will present their elegant and riveting music on the stage in Trezzo.

ROBIN MCAULEY

Robin McAuley is widely recognized as one of the great singers of a golden period in Hard Rock music. His voice can be heard on albums from Grand Prix and Far Corporation, and of course on the US charts-topping M.S.G. records 'Perfect Timing', 'Save Yourself', and 'MSG.'

Recently, he took part in the supergroup Black Swan, and he also released two brilliant solo albums, 'Standing On The Edge' in 2021 and 'Alive' in 2023, showcasing his typical melodic and infectious vocal style, with powerful guitar riffs and some more updated elements incorporated in his music.

The legendary Rock vocalist will bring on the stage of the FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL all the glory and success of his past, along with the consistency and class of his present.

HONEYMOON SUITE

Originally formed in 1981 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, by lead vocalist/guitarist Johnnie Dee, soon joined by lead guitarist, Derry Grehan, the five-piece act released a total of seven studio albums since their debut release in 1983, with over 1 million units sold worldwide.

The band won numerous awards, including a Canadian Juno for “Group of Year” in 1986, triple platinum sales in Canada with the first 3 albums, and platinum sales for the greatest hits CD 'The Singles,' released in 1989. Their latest studio album, 'Alive', has been produced by the notable fellow Canadian Mike Krompass, and the result brings back the trademark sound of the band, with powerful vocals and memorable guitar riffs.

HONEYMOON SUITE has toured extensively in the US, Canada, and Europe with acts such as ZZ Top, Heart, Billy Idol, Journey, Bryan Adams, Saga, Loverboy, Jethro Tull, and .38 Special. They are really excited to play in Italy for the very first time in their long career, presenting the best of their career with some new tunes thrown into, for a great set!

CRAZY LIXX

'Thrill Of The Bite,' the new studio album from the Swedish hard rockers CRAZY LIXX, is set for release on February 14th. It’s a band that made a name for their amazing Hair Metal revival style, strongly rooted in the ‘80s and early ‘90s, drawing inspiration from the flamboyant Heavy Metal and the movies of that era!

Their latest original studio effort, 'Street Lethal,' released in 2021, left all fans of the band eager to hear new material, and - even though the compilation album 'Two Shots At Glory' (2024) gave the listeners some new recordings (covers, re-arrangements of old songs and a couple of new tracks), this next studio album is what they have all been dying to crank up in their stereo!

Expect powerful anthems, memorable riffs, catchy melodies, electrifying guitar solos, and the usual larger-than-life sing-along energy on stage!

SHAKRA

With 13 studio albums (!), 2 live albums, one ballads compilation, and a few successes that hit the German and Swiss album charts - during their 30 years-career - SHAKRA is considered one of the most consistent acts in the current Swiss Hard Rock scene, thanks to their music style based on powerful guitar riffs, catchy hooks, and a solid rhythm section.

But it’s the stage that is their home, as they played countless European shows (including a twelve-country tour with Hammerfall and Stratovarius) as well as many Metal and Hard-Rock festivals (including the prestigious 'Bang Your Head' and 'Spirit Of Rock'). They also opened for Rock giants like Iron Maiden, Uriah Heep, and Guns n’ Roses.

An experienced, powerful, and super solid live band that will definitely put the FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL stage on fire!!!

ART NATION

Led by main man and vocalist Alexander Strandell, ART NATION is back on track after a difficult four-year hiatus complicated by line-up issues. However, the latest album, 'Inception,' is clear proof of how the band has re-established that great musical spirit and chemistry that launched them years ago!

Alexander Strandell, guitarist Christoffer Borg, and bassist Richard Svärd, deliver a powerful musical statement, in their classic style, made of huge and anthemic hooks mixed with European Metal influences.

After dozens and dozens of shows on some of the biggest stages in Sweden, having played at the legendary Sweden Rock Festival, and having walked the red carpet of the Grammys, ART NATION is back and better than ever!

SEVENTH CRYSTAL

Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, SEVENTH CRYSTAL showcases a diverse range of musical expressions, drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, from soft melodic rock to hard-hitting Heavy Metal going through progressive and Classic Rock.

Their new studio album, 'Entity', follows the path of their previous 'Delirium' of 2021 and 'Wonderland' of 2023, putting - this time - a stronger accent on the heavy guitar parts and on the constructions of the songs.

SEVENTH CRYSTAL are ready to bring their exciting and authentic melodic rock formula to the FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL stage!

RICK WAKEMAN THE FINAL SOLO TOUR ADDITIONAL SHOWS ADDED FOR 2025!

Last year, the ultimate keyboard wizard, Rick Wakeman CBE, announced that his 2024 tours of solo piano concerts would be his last. Rick, who has become almost as well-known for his intimate piano shows as his prog rock extravaganzas, had decided that after a career spanning over 50 years, he would be calling a halt to lengthy American one-man show tours, in order to concentrate on composing, recording and collaborating with other musicians.

However, after receiving an offer to take part in the latest of the highly popular Cruise To The Edge, he couldn’t resist adding more dates to include some of the venues he couldn’t fit into his schedule in 2024.

Audiences can expect an evening of highlights from his career with YES and his solo work, including the new 30-minute instrumental work Yessonata, featuring YES themes and melodies, woven into sonata form, which he wrote especially for the Final Solo Tour.

Rick first started establishing a reputation as one of rock’s most original and proficient keyboard players in the late Sixties, when he worked with the likes of David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Marc Bolan, Lou Reed, Al Stewart, Elton John and other artists too numerous to mention, as a much-in-demand session player. He stepped out of the recording studio and into the limelight when he first joined the Strawbs and then YES, helping to make the latter the most successful progressive rock band in the world by contributing to seminal albums such as Fragile and Close To The Edge.

But outside of YES, Rick was really able to unleash his creativity with a series of groundbreaking concept albums: The Six Wives of Henry VIII, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, and The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and theKnights of the Round Table, which have been performed in large-scale shows featuring bands, orchestras and choirs.

However, he is equally at home as a solo artist in the upclose environment of concert halls, performing music on a piano – both his own and tunes that have a special resonance for him - and recounting wickedly funny stories taken from the length of his career. In recent years, he has added a rack of electric keyboards to ring the changes and enable him to enlarge his live solo repertoire.

Don’t miss this final opportunity to enjoy an evening of great music and hilarious stories, delivered by one of the truly legendary figures of rock music.

A STATEMENT FROM RICK:

“I always planned to stop touring by my 77th birthday - for those of you who wish to send me a card, it’s 18th May! - but there is so much to fit in beforethen that I’m having to make plans now and so my final one-man shows will have to cease by that date .

“I have thoroughly enjoyed performing the various one-man shows, but it’s time to call it a day. I intend to throw in the best of what I have done in the past, plus a few new surprises on the way, and possibly even the odd guest joining me on the odd occasion.

“The plan is not to perform at the same venue twice throughout this period, so whatever venue you are hopefully thinking of coming to, it will be the last performance there - and I am taking this opportunity of thanking everyone and anyone who has supported me over the last 53 years!”

Ashley McBryde Rides Toward the Spirit of the West with "Ain't Enough Cowboy Songs"

Lauded as “one of the best artists in present-day country” by Stereogum, Ashley McBryde releases an ode to the spirit of the west and the values that shaped it with “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs,” available now via Warner Music Nashville. Listen below.

“Cowboys are the ones doing what needs to be done before it is an emergency,” McBryde shared with Cowboys & Indians. “If you would simply be where you are, do what you say you’re gonna do and mean what you say when you say it, it would simplify a lot of things.”

Produced by John Osborne, “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs” swells with longing from the very first stroke across the fiddle strings – a fitting introduction as McBryde and cowriters Chris Harris and Patrick Savage explored a shared sense of something missing, along with a desire for meaning and reconnection in a changing world.

“This one was all about where we live and the genre we love and realizing that the horse I rode in on got put out to pasture,” McBryde explained. “Instead of us saying, ‘Work ethic’s out the window, stick-to-it code’s pretty much dead and idealism is gone,’ it was easier to say that by saying there is no wild out west. That’s all gone.”

Next week, McBryde will head to Las Vegas where she will join 23-time Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Champion Roper Jackie Crawford for a Q&A session at Ariat’s Las Vegas brand shop on Thursday, Dec. 12, followed by an acoustic performance. Additional details available HERE.

On Friday, Dec. 13, she will perform with Cody Johnson at MGM Grand Garden Arena before joining him for his Leather Deluxe Tour in 2025 among festival dates at Stagecoach, Country Thunder Arizona, Country Thunder Florida, Country Thunder Wisconsin and more. LYLVC Share New Song "XXX" — Watch + Listen

Alt band LYLVC (pronounced "Lilac") have returned with one of the most tempting rock songs they've ever crafted with "XXX."

Dual-vocalists Alyse Zavala and Oscar Romero are showcasing their best, most complimentary give-and-take of their careers, producing some of the most melodic hooks and heavy-hitting surprises they've released so far.

Watch the lyric video and listen to the track below.

On their explicitly titled, "XXX," Zavala offers, "I think this song is soooo sexy... I wanted to write the lyrics from the perspective of a woman who is so powerful that she feeds off of the sexual energy of all her followers. The sex is so good that it messes with their head and they won't realize it until it is way too late and they are too addicted to leave. I purposely made the chorus into a chant so that everyone can feed off the energy and feel the air in the room tighten together. This winter release is about to get HOT!! XOXO."

For a high-energy show that is only matched by the band's flair for technological expertise in visuals, you can catch LYLVC on the road this December in the U.S. with A Killer's Confession and Gemini Syndrome's Aaron Nordstrom. The band will also serve as the special guest on the epic Life of Agony x Biohazard co-headline tour of Europe in February and March. All dates are below.

As Zavala is a professional hacker, her dedication to utilizing every tool at her disposal to create an unforgettable live performance, creates a supremely futuristic atmosphere that is truly something to behold.

Don't say we didn’t warn you — LYLVC are out to prove that hard work translates into perfected results. Strategic, charismatic, and multi-talented, the members of LYLVC simply have a bit more to offer than the average rock artist.

BLEED FROM WITHIN - Announce New Album "Zenith" + Release Video For New Single, 'In Place Of Your Halo'

Metal powerhouse BLEED FROM WITHIN have announced their new album Zenith that is set to be released on Apri 4th via Nuclear Blast Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have revealed the video for their new single 'In Place Of Your Halo', a thunderous shot of modern metal fury that pays homage to their native Scotland with a bagpipe-backed refrain for the ages.

On the news of their new album the band comment:

"In Place Of Your Halo marks the beginning of the next chapter for Bleed From Within. It is an anthem for those that feel like life has passed them by, or those that have been held back by their own limitations. We are killing the older version of ourselves in order to grow. This develops our resilience, a topic that underpins this band's journey and most of what we shout about. We've not had it easy, but neither has anyone else. This song is for all of us.

Through this growth, we come closer to our potential, our Zenith - the title of our 7th studio album. This is a body of work that we are so immensely proud of and look forward to sharing more of over the coming months. We couldn't think of a more fitting introduction to our next steps as a band than a breakdown with some bagpipes over it. Plenty more new music to follow. Enjoy."

PALEFACE SWISS Unveil New Single & Music Video “LOVE BURNS”

Switzerland’s Paleface Swiss continue their unrelenting march towards the release of their third album, ‘Cursed,’ with the unveiling of their brand-new single, “Love Burns.” Following the intensity of previous tracks “Hatred”, which was recently included in Loudwire’s covetedBest Rock & Metal Songs of 2024’ list and nominated for “Angriest Song of The Year” in Nik Nocturnal’s popular annual awards and “My Blood On Your Hands,” also nominated in Nik Nocturnal Awards 2024 for ‘Best Animal Noise, this latest offering delves deeper into the band’s evolving artistry, balancing their signature heaviness with an emotionally charged narrative. Fans can watch the official music video below and can stream the track on their platform of choice HERE .

“Love Burns” picks up where “My Blood On Your Hands” left off, unfolding a fictional tale of love turned destructive. Opening with the chaotic brutality that fans have come to expect, the track crescendos into a hauntingly melodic conclusion, a move that highlights the band’s growth and willingness to push boundaries. Each track on the band's upcoming album is represented by a different flower, features on the album artwork. “Love Burns” is represented by the Cyclamen—a bloom associated with parting, resignation and saying goodbye.Frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger explains,

“‘Love Burns’ is a combination of the old and new, and it’s a song I’m immensely proud of. The story I want to tell is something everyone can relate to. The concept of the album, in which each flower represents an emotion and a track, makes it all the more cohesive for me.”

The band's upcoming third full-length, ‘Cursed’ is a masterclass in modern brutality and encapsulates two years of creative exploration and raw personal experiences for the Paleface Swiss members. The band retreated to the seclusion of the Canary Islands to craft this sonic juggernaut. Collaborating with Ron Steven Deris at Misueno Studios and with long-time collaborator Florent Salfati (Landmvrks) helping to add the finishing touches, their work culminated in an album that marries the band’s signature heaviness with intricate conceptual storytelling. The first single from the album, “Hatred”, was released in September, delivering the perfect blend of bombastic nu-core swagger, incendiary rapid fire vocals, thrash-inspired guitar solos and the pummeling rhythmic section the band have become globally renowned for. Since release, ‘Hatred’ has hit 877k streams on Spotify alone, with the accompanying music video hitting 250k views.

The release of “Love Burns” comes as Paleface Swiss prepare for their most ambitious touring schedule yet. Their European and UK headline tour kicks off on January 30th, 2025, in their hometown of Zurich, Switzerland, with support from The Acacia Strain and Desolated. Following 27 dates across Europe and the UK, the band will bring their monstrous sound to North America, beginning March 20th in Detroit, MI. Featuring Stick To Your Guns and Nasty, the 30-date US run will hit major cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Tickets and full routing can be found HERE

The band are also running a one-of-a-kind Golden Ticket initiative for fans. Those who pre-order the special box set on the official website will have a chance to find the coveted Golden Ticket, hidden within one lucky box. This golden ticket will grant the winner and a guest an unforgettable experience at the band’s album release show in their home-town of Zurich. Since the release of their first album, 'Chapter 3: The Last Selection', independent outfit, PALEFACE SWISS have gained international recognition throughout the Deathcore and Beatdown Community. Known for their huge, aggressive riffs, brutally bombastic rhythm section, frontman, Zelli's outstanding vocals and a pinch of humor. This is Switzerland’s finest heavy music. Across their catalog, the band have gained 110 million streams, 21 million YouTube views on their own channel, and recently peaked at 1 million Spotify monthly listeners.

Chapter 3: The Last Selection’ was released on October 30th 2020, spawning four huge tracks “Curse Us”, “The Rats”, "Lights Out" and “Skalpell” which quickly ranked high in the beatdown/hardcore charts and saw the band become cover stars on Spotify’s Heavy Beatdown playlist.

In 2022 the band released their second full-length album 'Fear & Dagger'. The album was widely considered a huge step up for the band as plaudits began to roll in for frontman Zelli's vocal ability and the band's unflinching commitment to never shy away from brutally heavy riffs, face-melting technically insane guitar solos, punishing beatdowns or from facing difficult, emotional topics head on. Metal Injectionaccurately summed it up in their review by saying, "It's fun to get caught up in Paleface's unrelenting instrumentals, but Zelli's really the star of Paleface. This is largely because he treats his screams like rap bars." New Transcendence stating "Paleface have created one of the most emotionally relevant and intriguing beatdown releases to date" and Wall of Sound calling it "an unashamedly brutal and angry album".

The album shot the band into the upper echelons of the "New Wave Of Deathcore" and spawned singles "The Orphan", "Deathtouch", "Dead Man's Diary" feat. LANDMVRKS frontman Florent Salfati and fan favourite and stylistic curveball, "My Grave / Lay with Me". The album focused on more mature and critical topics related to the fears and struggles young people have to contend with in the 21st century, most importantly, the topic of mental health.

The ensuing 2 years saw the band's popularity sky-rocket. Honing their craft in the live arena, the band rapidly jumped from strength to strength, creating what is now one of the most thrilling and impactful live shows in modern metal. Their ability to win over any crowd, wether it be their own headline shows, touring the US with the likes of Body Snatcher or The Ghost Inside, touring the UK with the likes of Counterparts and Kublai Khan or at globally renowned festivals such as Sick New World, Hellfest Open Air, Summer Breeze, Cabaret Vert, Dynamo Metal Festival and more, one thing is for sure, Paleface Swiss will turn an audience into fans by the time they're done at every show they play.

To support their largely sold-out touring efforts, the band released a series of stand alone singles, "Best: Before Death" - now a staple and firm fan favourite in their live set list, "Please End Me" and "The Gallow".

Now, with the impending release of their third full-length album, 'Cursed', Paleface Swiss are set to write the next chapter or their incredible, epic journey as they reveal their most thematically and sonically ambitious album to date. Never pulling punches when it comes to heaviness, technicality or emotional vulnerability, Paleface Swiss are rewriting the rulebook on what it means to be an extreme metal band.

Slomosa 's new LP, 'Tundra Rock' has been hailed as "a sweeping signature hybrid of revved-up stoner rock riffage, grungy hooks, and a concentrated punk wallop". Boasting a brazen backbone of groove-bitten punch and silken melodic hooks heavily inspired by the Palm Desert music scene, Slomosa showcases a hibernating sound that has been reawakened for a new generation.

Since the release of its self-titled debut album in 2020, SLOMOSA  has performed upwards of 250 shows and high-profile festival appearances in over twenty countries alongside bands such as High on Fire, Alkaline Trio, Graveyard, Elder, Ufomammut, and Witch; its explosive live performances have earned the band an enthusiastic global fanbase. About Koe Wetzel
Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down: The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. His 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no- holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” and the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” and “Good Die Young” plus the Gold-certified “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has 3.4 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” In 2023 alone, he sold more than 275,000 tickets, and appeared for a third time on POLLSTAR’s Top Worldwide Tours. Wetzel played prominent festival sets this summer and opened for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour in Texas, while also headlining his own recently-wrapped Damn Near Normal World Tour. His new album, 9 Lives (Columbia), is available everywhere now as Platinum-certified lead single “High Road” with Jessie Murph arrives as his debut Country radio single while also climbing both the Hot AC and Top 40 charts.

Parmalee Scores 5th No. 1 with "Gonna Love You"

Parmalee, Country radio’s most played band of 2023, score their fifth No. 1 single with “Gonna Love You.” This marks the fourth consecutive No. 1 single for the band, who performed the song on Good Morning America and The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this year.

“Having ‘Gonna Love You’ go No. 1 is special in so many ways,” the band said. “We took a shot with a song completely different from the previous three (we released), and it really connected. Also, this was the song we needed to help tell our story and ultimately film the music video. As difficult as it was on the video set, it was a way to move on, and now we can all celebrate this song and how far we’ve come.”

Watch the video below:

The North Carolina natives recently performed at the “Concert For Carolina” benefit, which raised more than $25 million for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Parmalee is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals / guitar and drums, respectively), Cousin Barry Knox (bass), and lifelong friend Josh McSwain (guitar/keyboard).

While the band is winding the year with another chart-topping single, they are already prepping for their recently announced Fell In Love With A Cowgirl Tour, which kicks off Feb. 13 in Madison, WI. The tour, featuring special guest Avery Anna, will conclude on Mar. 22 in Edmonton, AB, Canada.

“With new music coming early next year, there is energy and excitement around us and our whole team,” said lead singer Matt Thomas. “We wanted to bring that energy to our fans as soon as we could, so we decided to do a headline tour starting in February 2025. We’ll bring the party back to some of the cities we played on the Kane Brown tour as well as some cities we’ve never been to. Can’t wait to kick off 2025 with the Parmlee Famalee.”

Tickets for all markets for the Fell In Love With A Cowgirl Tour are on sale now and available at ParmaleeMusic.com.

TESLA Release Acoustic Music Video; 'ALL ABOUT LOVE' EP Out Now Digitally and on Vinyl

Legendary rock band TESLA has unveiled the acoustic music video for their latest single, "All About Love." The track is part of their All About Love EP, which is now available as a special edition release on limited collector's 12" vinyl.

What you will hold in your hands is a one of a kind collectors edition 12” VINYL EP that showcases TESLA’s new song “All About Love” in the three formats that TESLA the band is famously known for: ELECTRIC, ACOUSTIC, and LIVE performances. Multiple versions of this new song are presented here on this EP.

Music lovers will state that a great “song” will sound great played in any of these formats, so TESLA’s Brian Wheat and Frank Hannon have teamed up to produce this 12” Vinyl EP of their new single  “All About Love” showcasing these different versions of the song.

Captured by Brian Wheat in his upstate NY recording studio, there is an electric version that shows how the band performs the song in full force, as well as two stripped down acoustic versions that showcase the dynamics of his mixes. Thus, Jeff Keith’s heartfelt lyrics about sharing love can be felt and to honor TESLA’s tradition of  adding an acoustic instrumental to their love ballads, Frank Hannon recorded here a new classically influenced acoustic guitar solo piece titled “From The Heart” that is a nod to their 1987 hit “Love Song”.

Furthermore, to present the “live in concert”  element of TESLA, a rendition of "All About Love" segues into James Gang’s classic song "Walk Away", both were recorded live at a Las Vegas concert earlier this year. They are included here as bonus tracks!

Throughout their nearly 40 year career, TESLA the band has performed diligently showing their prowess in these diverse environments. Both their electric and acoustic formats are received with love and acceptance by their loyal fanbase and TESLA the band is still selling out concerts to this day.

So put on your headphones or crank up your sound system to enjoy this audiophile vinyl treat; the ALL ABOUT LOVE E.P. with special edition single on a Limited Collectors 12" vinyl.

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid-80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like Bad Company, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith.

The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’s double-platinum The Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from TESLA include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9 new albums since 2000.

TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.

Vocals: Jeff Keith
Guitar: Frank Hannon
Bass: Brian Wheat
Guitar: Dave Rude
Drums: Steve Brown

Following last week’s announcement, Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the names of seven more confirmed bands that will perform at the FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL, set to take place on April 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2025, at the Live Club in Trezzo sull’Adda (Milan).

The festival will feature 21 bands in three days – an unmissable experience for all Melodic Rock/Hard Rock fans. It will offer VIP experience packages and many other surprises that will be unveiled soon.

HAREM SCAREM

With the first two albums ('Harem Scarem' of 1991 and 'Mood Swings' of 1993) being the key to bringing these Canadian rockers to the attention of the worldwide audience, Harem Scaremkept on delivering high-quality music throughout the years, and the latest releases: 'Thirteen', 'United' and 'Change the World' are shining examples of it.

Tour after tour, the band has been able to build up a solid and passionate fan base. They will bring on stage - once again - their unique class and musicianship for a show that is expected to be no less than stellar!

MIKE TRAMP’S WHITE LION

Mike Tramp’s name became prominent in the music world with White Lion, starting in 1983. The band enjoyed a huge success worldwide thanks to four beautiful albums until they disbanded in 1992.

After a 4-year time spent with Freak Of Nature, Tramp kicked off his solo career in 1997. Since 2009, Mike Tramp has released nine studio albums, playing live, both as an acoustic solo artist and with a backing band, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.

The singer/guitarist decided to start a new chapter in his career, re-imagining and re-recording select cuts from White Lion's catalog, bringing this experience live on stage. You’ll be led on an exciting journey through some real classics of the ‘80s and ’90s!

STORACE

Following the decision of Krokus (his band for 40 years!) to stop recording new music and limit their live appearances in 2018, rock legend Marc Storace returned to the scene in 2021, with his solo album 'Live And Let Live.'

Since May 2022, Marc has been performing with his new band and he spent 2023 and 2024 writing and producing the new album 'Crossfire,' a monster piece of Hard Rock, with songwriting shared between Storace, guitar-player Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper band) and drummer Pat Aeby (Krokus, Gotus).

TREAT

Building on the great success of their last albums (2010's 'Coup de Grace', 2016's 'Ghost Of Graceland', 2018's 'Tunguska', and 2022's 'The Endgame'), released after the band’s reunion in 2006, TREAT is still considered one of the best Melodic Hard Rock bands coming out of Europe as well as a fantastic live-act!

Their style of heavenly melodies, seductive arrangements, and impressive songwriting has the band truly at the top of the genre and always favorites for fans of the whole genre.

FM

FM is well known by all the fans of the genre for their big choruses, twin lead guitars and Steve Overland’s intimate, yet powerful vocals, and clean guitar sound!

Put together in 1984 by singer Overland and his brother, guitarist Chris (both formerly of Wildlife), along with drummer Pete Jupp and bassist Merv Goldsworthy, the band is celebrating their 40th Anniversary, with the release of their 14th studio album 'Old Habits Die Hard' accompanied, as always, by an extensive touring schedule throughout the UK, Europe and South America.

THE BIG DEAL

Coming from Serbia, THE BIG DEAL is a unique band in the melodic hard rock genre, as it features two outstanding vocalists, Ana Nikolic and Nevena Brankovic (who is also a highly skilled keyboard/piano player), along with the other three musicians.

Offering a catchy, driving yet powerful sound that is meant to appeal to both, melodic rock and hard rock fans, sound, look, explosive stage presence… they have everything, and they are ready to bring their brilliant musical offer (including some songs taken from the upcoming album 'Electrified') to the FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL audience!

CASSIDY PARIS

Australian rocker Cassidy Paris has started her career at a very young age. At 21 years old, she has already released two sold-out EPs ('Broken Hearted' & 'Flirt'), performed multiple live shows all over her home country, and released her debut album, 'New Sensation,' with 11 tracks of energetic modern rock music.

Raised on classic hard rock and inspired by female rockers such as Lzzy Hale, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and Avril Lavigne, the fiercely determined young woman met singer/songwriter Paul Laine (Danger Danger, The Defiants) at the age of 11 (!) and he helped her to develop her style and songwriting.

Having already performed in America, the U.K., and Japan, CASSIDY PARIS can’t wait to play Italy for the very first time!

Julien-K Announces New Single, New Band Member, and New Tour Dates for 2025!

Julien-K adds veteran touring powerhouse drummer Galen Waling as an official band member. Waling is known for his work in Lords Of Acid, PIG, and Left Spine Down.

Singer Ryan Shuck explained, “We work with so many creatives in our Julien-K extended family, we had always thought of the band as much bigger than just Amir, Fu, and I. It’s normal for us to work with different players, writers, producers in the course of doing what we do - and that won’t change. But as the band has become such a regular touring entity, Galen just fit so solidly into our live world that we started asking him to join us in the studio as well. It just seemed natural to make him an official band member”.

The band begins an extensive 2025 tour schedule with the Colder Than Hell Tour featuring Vampires Everywhere & Priest, then joins Powerman 5000 though April, as well as, performing at the famous Rainbow Anniversary Festival on the Sunset Strip on April 13th. More tour dates TBA for Fall 2025.

The bands latest dark techno-dystopian single “Static Whispers” from their upcoming album DRK|MODE drops Friday, Dec 13th to coincide with the bands last show of the year at Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood CA. Supporting Julien-K will be Grey Daze from Phoenix AZ.

August Burns Red Share Annual Holiday Cover + This Year It's "Waltz of the Flowers"

Grammy-nominated, Lancaster five-piece AUGUST BURNS RED — JB Brubaker [lead guitar], Brent Rambler [rhythm guitar], Matt Greiner [drums], Jake Luhrs [vocals], and Dustin Davidson [bass] — release an instrumental holiday cover song every year. This year, they've chosen the classical track "Waltz of the Flowers" from The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and have given it quite the guitar-driven and metallic makeover.

Listen here.

"In keeping with our annual tradition, we are excited to reveal this year's August Burns Red holiday song," the band states. "We tackled the classical ballet 'Waltz of the Flowers,' taken from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. It was so much fun adding our spin to the timeless melodies written by this legendary composer. Hope you like it and Happy Holidays!"

It follows the September release of "Exhumed," which was another slab of angry music for happy people, as is expected from the ABR faithful.

Also, the 2024 edition of the band's annual Christmas Burns Red extravaganza is set for December 13 and 14 at Freedom Hall at the Lancaster Country Convention Center in downtown Lancaster, PA. Tickets, VIP packages, and hotel packages will all be on sale immediately at this location, with discounted Black Friday ticket four-packs available on Friday, November 29.

The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, Gideon, Boundaries, Bodysnatcher, and more are set to appear, making it a heavy holiday extravaganza.

ABOUT AUGUST BURNS RED:
August Burns Red is likely the only metal act ever described as "thrillingly empathetic" (Kerrang!). It's a testament to the ferocious band's ability to recognize and connect with the mixture of brokenness and hope found in their audience and within themselves. A hard-working collective with a shockingly stable lineup for the vast majority of their career, August Burns Red pour every ounce of themselves into their music. Atmospheric, riff-laden, aggressive bursts of controlled chaos, filled with shifting time signatures and tempos, deliver confessional, self-reflective, and authentic emotion.

Tour stops with Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Parkway Drive, and Bring Me the Horizon; several major international hard rock festivals (Rock Am Ring, Download, and Aftershock, to name a few); and the Vans Warped Tour are among the destinations around the world to witness ABR's live prowess. Massive headlining treks celebrating 10-year anniversaries for Constellations and Leveler demonstrated the enduring relevance of the band’s catalog, nearly 20 years into ABR's storied career. 2020's Guardians debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Music, Rock Albums, and Vinyl Albums charts.

Revolver, who put the band on their cover the same year, observed August Burns Red "embrace the pain so well." It's a truth never more evident than on Death Below, their stunning ninth studio album. Recorded with longtime producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland, Death Below encompasses all of the pissed-off strength of the band's past without sacrificing an ounce of catchy, melodic might. Death Below boasts guest appearances from ABR allies Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), Spencer Chamberlain (Underoath), Jason Richardson (All That Remains), and JT Cavey (ERRA). "It's getting difficult for the members of August Burns Red to keep one-upping themselves," marveled Billboard shortly before Guardians arrived. With Death Below, they emerge victorious again.

Whiskey Jam Celebrates a Monumental Milestone: 1,000 Shows-and-Counting

Whiskey Jam, Nashville's premier original live independent music series, celebrated its 1,000th show last night (Monday, Nov. 25) in downtown Nashville at Whiskey Row, marking over a decade of elevating the best and brightest in country music. Since its inception in January 2011, Whiskey Jam has become a cornerstone of the music industry, fostering the careers of artists who have collectively achieved:

        450 No. 1 Songs
        129 ACM Awards
        92 CMA Awards
        36 Grammy Awards
        10 Grand Ole Opry Inductions

This milestone was celebrated with an unforgettable lineup of performers, featuring Dierks Bentley, Zach Top, Ella Langley, Dasha, Dylan Marlowe, Alana Springsteen, Graham Barham, Zach John King and Jojo DiSilva. Held at its iconic home, Whiskey Jam brought together a crowd of fans, industry leaders and artists who have all played a part in its storied legacy.

“The first time I played Whiskey Jam …I got a record deal out of it,” Zach Top reflected on stage during his third Whiskey Jam appearance last night. “Thank you to Ward and everybody that helped put this thing on for giving artists like me – and everybody who’s been on this stage tonight – a chance to come out and play a show. It’s been a success story for a lot of artists and the folks here tonight are a representation of that.”

“I played Whiskey Jam for the first time earlier this year when my album dropped and I was so excited to get the call from Ward to join the 1,000th show,” Dasha adds. “Whiskey Jam is iconic in this town. All your favorite country artists have played that stage and I’m so honored I got to be a part of such a special night.”

What began as a Monday night gathering in a small Midtown dive bar has grown into an integral part of Nashville’s music culture. Whiskey Jam’s stage has become a proving ground for artists at all stages of their careers — from newcomers to chart-toppers. It is where fans have discovered their favorite voices and where artists have refined their craft live.

Over the years, Whiskey Jam performers have reached remarkable heights. Alumni of the series have earned accolades across the music world, proving that the Whiskey Jam stage is not just a venue — it’s a launching pad.

“When Whiskey Jam started, it was all about getting together with friends to share our music in an exceptionally fun environment,” said Whiskey Jam Founder, Ward Guenther. “It’s grown in ways we never could have imagined and that’s really a testament to our incredible and supportive creative community.”

As Whiskey Jam looks ahead to its next 1,000 shows, the focus remains the same: championing great music, fostering community, and creating moments that matter in the lives of artists and fans alike.

MIKE TRAMP Shares New Single "Till Death Do Us Part" + Cinematic Video

"Till Death Do Us Part" is the latest single from famed rock vocalist and guitarist MIKE TRAMP. The track is off his latest studio album 'Songs Of White Lion – Vol. II' which is out via Frontiers Music Srl. The album's ten tracks see TRAMP re-imagining select cuts from his former band White Lion. "Till Death Do Us Part" is accompanied by a new music video below.

About the new album, MIKE TRAMP shared this:

"Would Leonardo Da Vinci have re-painted Mona Lisa, if he had gotten a second chance? That, we will never know, but I can say for sure, that I am beyond thrilled to have gotten a second chance to re-record and sing the songs I wrote between 1983 and 1990. Today I have such a better understanding of how I want to express the songs in my voice than I had when I was in my 20’s, it’s just a fact, and I’ve grabbed the chance. 'Songs Of White Lion' is a whole new chapter, matter of fact it is current."

TRAMP is out now on tour supporting 'Songs Of White Lion Vol.II'. For a current list of dates, visit HERE

MIKE TRAMP came to prominence in the music world with White Lion, who formed in 1983. After signing to Atlantic Records, the band enjoyed great success with their second album 'Pride' in 1987, which included the hits "Wait" and "When the Children Cry". The band's third album, 'Big Game' (1991), and fourth album, 'Mane Attraction' (1992) continued the band's winning streak, but ultimately WHITE LION disbanded in 1992.

After WHITE LION, TRAMP formed the hard rock band Freak Of Nature, who had a decidedly darker and harder vibe than White Lion. Freak Of Nature would release three studio albums before disbanding in 1996. In 1998, Tramp kicked off his solo career with the album, 'Capricorn'; in 2002, his second solo album 'Recovering The Wasted Years' was released. TRAMP would then take a break from his solo career from 2004-2008 to tour and record under the name Mike Tramp's White Lion and eventually under the name White Lion, releasing the album 'Return Of The Pride' in 2008.

Since 2009, TRAMP has been writing and recording as a solo artist releasing nine studio albums, including his most recent, 2022's 'For Første Gang.' He has also been a consistent presence on the road, both as an acoustic solo artist and with a backing band, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
