PYLETRIBE DROPS NEW SINGLE "EGYPTIAN PRINCESS"

Combining the iconic talents of legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd member and Rock N Roll Hall of Fame drummer Artimus Pyle, the infectious vocal of son Chris Pyle, and the blistering guitar licks of Eric Gales, PYLETRIBE is proud to release their new single ‘EGYPTIAN PRINCESS” on Madison Records.

LISTEN HERE TO “EGYPTIAN PRINCESS”

Rock N Roll Hall of Fame DrummerArtimus Pyle Quote:

"EGYPTIAN PRINCESS”

was recorded at Ovation Studios with engineer William Stevens, and Chris Pyle wrote, sang, and played guitar on the track.  It is one of the coolest songs I’ve ever played drums on, especially when Guitar Wizard Eric Gales joined us with a scorching guitar solo. Rocking musicians all over the world will love this song!"  ARTIMUS PYLE

Singer Chris Pyle Quote:

“EGYPTIAN PRINCESS” is just one of those songs that feels so right from the very start", said band leader Chris Pyle.  "Having my dad on drums is always the most I could ever ask for.  And then to have Eric Gales, widely regarded as one of the best blues guitar masters in the world, to play on the song is such an honor!   "Egyptian Princess" was already a fiery groove and then Eric doused it with gasoline!"   CHRIS PYLE

According to GUITAR WORLD magazine, "Eric Gales is one of the greatest electric guitar players on the planet!"

ABOUT THE BAND

Being part of Lynyrd Skynyrd was a life-changing opportunity for Artimus. Not only did he form a close friendship with singer Ronnie Van Zant, but the music he made with the band cemented his place in rock and roll history. He and the other band members were recognized for their talent in 2016 when they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Artimus continues to make music and share his talent through PYLETRIBE, a band formed by his son Chris Pyle.  "Chris is an incredibly talented musician and songwriter, and I know Ronnie Van Zant would be proud of him,” Artimus says.

"PYLETRIBE really has been in the making my entire life, although most of that time I was playing as a drummer in other people's stories", said Chris. "Then it hit me one day that I had a lot to say, so I picked up the guitar and started writing the songs, and of course I had to have my dad on drums.  Playing with my dad, who was in one of the biggest bands in the world, has been a joy.  And there's just this natural bond that we share musically, which feels just like breathing to us when we play.  We don't even have to think.”

PYLETRIBE has a Home Town Release Show on Saturday, November 30 at the Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC. Additionally, PYLETRIBE will have numerous touring shows set up for 2025.

Orianthi to Join Recently Announced Alice Cooper Tour Dates in 2025

ALICE COOPER has announced that guitarist ORIANTHI will be joining his band for shows January 31 through February 16, filling in for Nita Strauss, who unfortunately has conflicting obligations of her own.

Orianthi toured with Alice from 2011 to 2014, along with longtime band members Chuck Garric, Glen Sobel, Tommy Henriksen, and Ryan Roxie.

Said Cooper, "When Orianthi moved on to pursue her own career in 2014, we were lucky to find Nita. Over the past decade, Nita, Chuck, and Tommy have also launched their own projects, and we always try to coordinate our schedule so we can keep the band together, but these shows came up after Nita had already committed to another tour. So I reached out to Orianthi, and thankfully she was available to jump back in, so we're all really looking forward to doing these shows with her. I'm so fortunate to always have such great musicians to work with."

The tour schedule for these shows is as follows.

ALICE COOPER ON TOUR:
1/31 — Augusta, GA — Bell Auditorium
2/1 — Cherokee, NC — Harrah's Casino Resort Event Center
2/2 — Greensboro, NC — Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts
2/4 — Mobile, AL — Saenger Theatre
2/6 — Orlando, FL — Hard Rock
2/7 — Ft Myers, FL — Barbara Mann Performing Arts Hall
2/8 — Clearwater, FL — Coachmen Park
2/11  — St. Augustine, FL — Amphitheatre
2/13-2/17 — Miami, FL — Rock Legends Cruise

Alice Cooper will be announcing further 2025 tour dates, with Nita Strauss back in the fold, including the already-annnounced shows May 9 at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio and August 15 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Lincoln Financial Field with My Chemical Romance.

Chase Rice Performs "Hey God It's Me Again" on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" This Wednesday, Nov. 27

Country music powerhouse Chase Rice is set to deliver standout track “Hey God It’s Me Again” from his critically acclaimed independent album Go Down Singin’ on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” this Wednesday, Nov. 27. Airing just before Thanksgiving, the song’s reflective tone and heartfelt lyrics provide a poignant backdrop to the season of gratitude.

“Hey God It’s Me Again” has quickly resonated as a fan-favorite song on Go Down Singin’, an album heralded by critics as a bold and authentic statement of Rice’s artistic evolution. With deeply personal lyrics and stripped-back production, the song encapsulates Rice’s raw, introspective approach to storytelling. As Billboard declares, “his new music leans toward rootsier, raw-rock driven sounds, trading party anthems for introspective lyrical themes,” while “his voice conveys a crackling warmth of self-reflection and an easy-going comfortableness with his new sound.”

Rice’s performance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” is a fitting celebration of a year that has seen the artist redefine himself creatively, shifting away from commercial trends to embrace a sound that is undeniably his own. “This song is about gratitude and connection,” shares Rice. “It’s a conversation with God that I think a lot of people can relate to, especially this time of year.”

Critics have lauded Go Down Singin’ overall as a career-defining project, with the independent release marking a bold pivot in Rice’s career. Rolling Stone highlights the album as “an excellent collection of poignant, often anthemic country,” noting that it finds Rice “trying to do what creative people are supposed to: grow and change.” With songs like “Hey God It’s Me Again,” he showcases growth as a songwriter, weaving personal experiences into music that connects on a universal level. Holler called it “a defiant, autobiographical battle-cry...pervaded by warmth, acceptance, and self-awareness,” while Cowboys & Indians proclaims that “maturity and clarity are the reality on Chase Rice's new album…what is sure to be one of 2024’s most well-received country albums of the year.”

Rice further showcased this new direction with surprise follow-up project Fireside Sessions, which featuring all 25 songs from both Go Down Singin’ and prior album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell as live, single-take versions with cowriters including Lori McKenna, Jackson Dean, Hunter Phelps, Randy Montana and more as featured artists.

About Chase Rice
With more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. With independent album Go Down Singin’ available everywhere now as the follow-up to the critically acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, and both brought together on brand new offering Fireside Sessions, Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the American West. The new music serves as a follow up to his three-part project, The Album, which featured his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and the Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.”

This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited. The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, which featured the 3x Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight” and Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice served as direct support on Dierks Bentley’s 2024 Gravel & Gold Tour and consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours across the U.S. and beyond.

Multi-Platinum Selling Corey Kent Wraps 1st Leg of 'Black Bandana Tour' w/ Sold Out Stops

Sony Music Nashville artist Corey Kent has spent the fall headlining his international Black Bandana Tour. With sold out stops across the country, the tour will take Kent to the UK in 2025 and, due to demand, the tour has officially been extended into spring 2025 with new dates added. Kent shared news of the tour's extension via social media ahead of wrapping the first leg.

“Y’all helped make the Black Bandana Tour so successful by selling out a bunch of the shows, so we’ve decided to extend the tour into next spring,” Kent shared on Instagram.

A road veteran himself, drawing inspiration from The Eagles, Keith Richards, Turnpike Troubadours and more, Kent brought his bandana-wearing Rock ‘N’ Roll spirit to Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend selling over 5,000 tickets across the three day run. The weekend set a personal record for Kent, with his Charlotte show on Saturday marking the most ticket sales in one night, and the Atlanta stop selling out a month in advance.

The Oklahoma native will be joined by Clayton Mullen, Lori McKenna, Lanie Gardner and Tyler Halverson on select dates for leg two of his headlining, Black Bandana Tour, which kicks off on Jan. 18 in Fort Worth, TX. The road warrior will trek across the U.S. with stops in St. Louis, Dallas, Chicago and Oklahoma City. Tickets for the extended tour are on sale now. Purchase at coreykentofficial.com.

"One of the best parts of doing your own headline tour is getting to pick who you want to open," reflects Kent. "Max McNown, Karley Scott Collins, Braxton Keith and Lauren Watkins were all so great to have on the road this year. So pumped to have Lori McKenna, Tyler Halverson, Lanie Gardner and Clatyon Mullen out next year!"

The sold-out shows come on the heels of the Double-Platinum hitmaker releasing his sophomore album, Black Bandanaearlier this fall. It was named a “Best Album” by NPR’s All Songs Considered with Rolling Stone noting his “charismatic vocals lift every song.” Listen to Black Bandana HERE. And watch the video, directed by Wales Toney, for his current single, “Now or Never" featuring Lauren Alaina below

Title track “Black Bandana” helped set the tone for the album Billboard calls, “music for those whose lives have been seasoned by rocky times." Co-written with Rocky Block, Jordan Dozzi, and Brett Tyler, the slow-burning call to stand your ground pairs tender country-rock reverence with a big-picture mindset, helping tie all of Kent’s struggle, success, and plans for the future together. The album was almost finished when he wrote it, Kent says, but he was happy it “derailed” the project.

“It encapsulates the journey. The reason we’re here is because we didn’t give up, and the whole record is a call to action against all odds,” he explains. “When the going gets tough and everybody quits, you be the one that stays the course and never gives up. I think there’s a lot of people that relate with that.”

Co-writing six of Black Bandana’s 10 songs, what Kent ultimately wanted was to mix themes of integrity, resilience and family with a sonic setting befitting the mission. Finding the midway point between cinematic electric guitars and heart-pounding drums meet a warm, gravel-road rasp, as Kent brings classic rock into the present tense.

Now based in Dallas, the proud husband and father has become a decorated artist on the rise, growing from humble heartland roots into a Platinum certified No. 1 hit maker with 950 million career streams, and a black bandana on his neck. But today, that Black Bandana is more than an accessory – and not just the title track of his sophomore major-label album, which Music Row calls, “gently but unrelentingly uplifting.” It’s his rally cry.

Rising from the vibrant Red Dirt country scene as the embodiment of authenticity, Kent set his sights on Nashville as a teen, bringing his self-penned catalog of country-rock anthems with him. But after the pandemic coincided with the loss of his first publishing deal, Kent was forced to move to Texas and get a job on a paving crew to pay the bills, yet he stubbornly refused to call music quits. Honky-tonks and dancehalls on both sides of the Red River became his stomping ground, and slowly but surely, the black bandana spirit grew.

Fast forward a few years and the hit single “Wild As Her” proved he was right all along. An untamed tribute to a free-spirited stunner, the track re-invigorated Kent’s career as a now Double-Platinum-certified No. 1 at country radio, and the lead single off his major label album debut, Blacktop. Despite never cracking country radio’s Top 40, Kent’s trust-your-gut second single “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” went Gold (and is now approaching Platinum status), proving his message was connecting. And momentum kept building, with Kent hitting the road alongside Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum and more. Next-big-thing accolades came in from CMT, Opry Next Stage and more, but even as Kent became the most played new artist on country radio for all of 2023, he kept the underdog, who-cares-about-conventional-wisdom mentality. And so did his fans.

For Kent, the point was that his fans have the same independent spirit he does, and he took that lesson into his next chapter. Settled into his ranch in Texas and intent on being fully present as husband and father, while also achieving his dreams, his second album is all about finding balance, keeping clear eyes on what’s important – and waving that Black Bandana for all to see.

Kent is also connecting with friends on the road in his new podcast “Bus Call.” The podcast finds Kent chatting with everyone from country music star Bailey Zimmerman to 2023 Doak Walker Award winner, OSU Running Back Ollie Gordon. The Texas Troubadour and his guests share laughs, inspirational moments and talk through the ups and downs of both business and personal lifeListen to all episodes of season one now.

Pistols at Dawn Drop Cover of "Last Christmas"

Atlanta foursome PISTOLS AT DAWN — Adam Jaffe [drums], Will James [lead guitar], Gabriel Cuevas [bass], and Jon Sookdew Sing [lead vocals] — have released their gorgeous, lilting, and sonically layered cover of WHAM's holiday classic "Last Christmas."

The band also shared the lyric video for the festive track.

Raise a mug of eggnog or mint hot chocolate, eat some homemade cookies, and watch it below.

"'Last Christmas' is definitely the one that stood out to us amongst the Christmas staples, and we wanted to make our own version of this beloved classic," shares the band. "But we didn't just want to make a cut and paste cover. We wanted to make a true Pistols at Dawn version, and between Jon's intimate vocal performance and Will's signature guitar playing, we were able to create a song that would make George Michael proud... With its beautiful string arrangement, this will be a welcome addition to all gatherings around the fireplace surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones for generations to come."

It follows the new single "Obsession." Watch the lyric video here. It also follows the band's hit track "Not Sorry," which is working its way up the Active Rock radio airplay charts since it's a banger.

The band has also booked appearances at upcoming radio holiday shows. Those are listed below.

PISTOLS AT DAWN LIVE:
12/3 — KIBZ The Blaze Kampout for Kids — Lincoln, NE
12/5 — KQRA Q102.1 Low-Dough Holiday Show — Springfield, MO

Pistols At Dawn craft the kind of rock music that doesn't just reach the rafters; it breaks through the ceiling. Sky-high hooks stretch into the heavens, a powerful low-end rumbles without apology, and riffs roar at all the right moments. Thus far, the Atlanta band have emerged as a phenomenon. They've amassed nearly 10 million global streams and views, infiltrated the Billboard and Mediabase Top 40 Active Rock charts, earned acclaim from American SongwriterBrave Words, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and embarked upon global tours alongside heavy-hitters such as Alter Bridge, Mammoth WVH, and Fozzy, to name a few. The quartet canvased the world throughout 2022 and 2023. Upon returning stateside, they opted to decamp to Los Angeles in order to assemble new material. Stayed tuned for more, because Pistols at Dawn are leveling up.

Jason Charles Miller Releases Deep Purple-Inspired “I Need A Rescue” Video

Jason Charles Miller has released his official music video for “I Need A Rescue,” the second video from his new album ‘Knives In The Dark.’ The song and video features guest keyboardist and vocalist Ellis Hall, best known for his work with Tower Of Power, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Patti LaBelle, to name just a few.

“The song ‘I Need a Rescue’ accidentally became a tribute to Deep Purple – Mark 3 in particular, the David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes lineup that did the albums ‘Burn’ and ‘Stormbringer’,” Miller says of the track. “I’ve often said that ‘Burn’ has been one of the most influential albums in my life, and I think it’s one of the best rock albums in history, period! Once Gary [Potter, guitarist] came up with the riff for ‘Rescue,’ the song basically wrote itself. I had become friendly with Ellis Hall through knowing his family, and he’s an absolute legend.  What he added to the recording, with his B3 playing and amazing vocals, really took it over the top.”

“I wanted to have a video where we are all just jamming the song, really vibing with it, so having my live band be in the video along with Ellis was super important to me,” he continues of the video itself. “Our director Andrew Fogel found the perfect location, making us the ultimate ‘garage band.’  Talk about going back to your roots! You’ll notice a purple tinge to the entire video, as an easter egg and a nod to the biggest influencers of the song!”

WATCH THE “I NEED A RESCUE” MUSIC VIDEO BELOW:

Released this summer on One Opportunity Records, ‘Knives In The Dark’ will be Miller’s first solo album to see physical release in Japan, where it drops November 22 via a joint partnership with Ward Records. The Japanese CD features Miller’s acoustic cover of Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years” as a bonus track.

Spin hailed Miller’s “gritty rock and country hybrid” and named him one of “10 Emerging Artists Shaping the Future of Sound” in a November feature, with Rolling Stone, Forbes, and even Nerdist and Comic Book Resources coming on board to feature the music and gaming crossover’s latest musical campaign.

Pop Evil Share "Deathwalk" Video

Modern rock powerhouse POP EVIL follow their scorching single "What Remains" with new, dark track "Deathwalk," produced by Zach Jones & KJ Strock.

The band shared the cinematic music video, directed by Sam Shapiro. Fans will plunge into the dark, fragmented landscape of lead singer Leigh Kakaty's psyche, unraveling the thin line between self-identity and survival. Kakaty confronts existential questions of his own mortality and legacy.

Watch it below

"We are the accused, the guilty, the damned," the singer says about the harrowing track. "At the end of our 'Deathwalk,' judgment awaits. Are you at peace with what you will leave behind?"

Pop Evil returned in August by showcasing their new sound with single "What Remains." It was produced by Wage War's Cody Quistad and serves as the dawn of a new era for Pop Evil, which the band promises will be its most sonically heavy. "What Remains" currently sits at No. 8 on the Mainstream Active Rock Chart.

The six-time RIAA gold-certified band, plus newly platinum-certified track, "Torn to Pieces," is gearing up for its forthcoming eighth studio album, set for release in Spring 2025.

Pop Evil are currently finishing up the final dates of The Animal Instinct Tour with Bad Wolves. Sierra Pilot and Oni are serving as support. All remaining tour dates are below. Get tickets here

Kakaty previously confirmed the band’s new lineup, saying, "We are also proud to officially announce the newest member of the Pop Evil lineup — Blake Allison." Allison is replacing departed member Hayley Cramer on drums, joining Kakaty and fellow bandmates, guitarists Dave Grahs and Nick Fuelling, and bassist Joey "Chicago" Walser.

Pop Evil first rose to international prominence with debut album Lipstick on the Mirror, featuring RIAA Certified Gold Single "100 in a 55." After Kakaty famously tore up the band's major label contract onstage, Pop Evil signed with MNRK Heavy (formerly eOne Music). 2011's War of Angels debuted in the Top 10 of the Rock Albums chart and produced three Top 10 singles.

The band's 2013 album Onyx put them in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200 for the first time and boasted three consecutive No.1 rock songs, two RIAA Gold Singles, and one Platinum Single with "Torn to Pieces." Pop Evil's next release, Up, was the No.1 Independent Album in America and made it to #25 on the Billboard 200. It featured several Top 5 rock songs and a chart-topper with "Footsteps," which also went Gold.

Pop Evil's 2018 self-titled set included the No.1 hit and newly certified Gold single "Waking Lions" and two other Top 10 hits. 2020's Versatile, meanwhile, scored two No.1 rock songs: "Breathe Again" and "Survivor." In 2023, the band released its seventh studio album Skeletons, which spawned their eighth and ninth No.1 singles: "Eye of the Storm" and "Skeletons."

Multi-Platinum Trailblazer Brantley Gilbert Takes 'Tattoos' on the Road with 2025 Tour; Tickets On Sale 11/29

Wrapping a standout year of headlining shows, including a performance to 118K fans in downtown Nashville for the World’s Largest Album Release Party, multi-Platinum country-rock trailblazer Brantley Gilbert announces his Tattoos Tour 2025, taking his seventh studio album from coast-to-coast across Northern America. Tickets will start at $25 plus applicable fees.

“My hope is that with tickets starting at $25, people can step away from everyday stresses and enjoy themselves—whether it’s making it a fun evening with the family or giving mom and dad the chance to hire a babysitter and have a night out just for them. Music has always been about bringing people together and offering a break from the grind, even if it’s just for a few hours.”

Fan club presales for BG Nation begin Monday, Nov. 25, and general on sale begins Friday, Nov. 29 at 10am local time at BrantleyGilbert.com.

With a focus on ensuring each tour stop delivers an unforgettable experience, Gilbert will be joined by special guests Travis Denning, Black Stone Cherry, Austin Snell, Colt Ford and Payton Smith on select dates. Full dates below with additional cities to be announced. Tattoos Tour 2025 support assets available HERE.

Featuring 10 songs all co-written and co-produced by the Georgia native, Tattoos is “a collection of carefully crafted songs reflecting different chapters of his life,” observes Forbes, while GRAMMY.com notes Gilbert “inks another portrait of small-town country life.”

Gilbert and ACM New Female Artist of the Year nominee Ashley Cooke recently brought lead single and chart-climbing duet to NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show” with a performance of “Over When We’re Sober.” Watch the performance HERE.

With about 90 songs to choose from, Gilbert carefully laid his Tattoos out with the help of co-producer Brock Berryhill. Some came from an all hands-on-deck weekend at Lee Brice’s Nashville property, with Jelly Roll and more, determined to write with no pre-conditions. Others found their way to Gilbert through friends who know his creative soul.

The result – predictably enough – is an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, but he was careful to put an emphasis on his early days, both in sound and substance, focusing on real instruments over synthetic effects and put to use in a variety of big-picture, small-town settings.

About Brantley Gilbert
As one of the godfathers of country’s modern rock-and-rap edge, multi-Platinum The Valory Music Co. trailblazer Brantley Gilbert knows life has a way of leaving a mark. With his seventh studio album, Tattoos, available now, the Georgia native chooses to embrace it – inspired by the idea that his tattoos tell a story, just like his songs. And just like his songs, he’ll never hide the truth they reveal. An era-defining artist forever bonded to his fans, Gilbert’s been mining the timeless values of hard-working dedication, high-octane thrills and humble faith since his 2009 debut, A Modern Day Prodigal Son, creating a chart-topping grit-and-grace fusion which helped set the stage for today’s genre-blending format. With his dedicated BG Nation behind him, the fiery performer-songwriter has racked up more than 8.3 BILLION career streams, boasting back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits including the RIAA 7x Platinum “Bottoms Up;” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide;” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do;” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen;” and the Platinum-certified “What Happens In A Small Town” with Lindsay Ell. His world-class pen helped create a watershed hit with Jason Aldean’s 4x Platinum country-rap game changer, “Dirt Road Anthem.” And possessing a can’t-fake-it quality of fierce independence, the ACM, CMA and AMA award winner has toured alongside everyone from Willie Nelson and Toby Keith to Kenny Chesney, Nickelback and more. Tattoos further cements his legacy – 10 cowritten, co-produced tracks with an electrifying mix of in-your-face aggression and roughneck reflection, as Gilbert’s diesel-powered smoke-and-soul vocal delivers another full-spectrum soundtrack to modern country life. Tracks like full-throttle “Off the Rails” and intoxicating chart-climbing single “Over When We’re Sober” with Ashley Cooke lead a set packed with guest appearances from Gary LeVox, Justin Moore, Struggle Jennings and Demun Jones. Gilbert will embark on his headlining Tattoos Tour 2025 in February, with stops across North America through the spring, with additional festival dates this summer. LAINEY WILSON SECURES CMA FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Lainey Wilson entered the 2024 CMA Awards as a host alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning for the first time this year and by the close of the show was awarded two CMA Awards including: Female Vocalist of the Year, her third consecutive win in the category, and Music Video of the Year for her #1 hit song “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”

In her acceptance speech for Female Vocalist of the Year, Lainey shared: "I've always been told if you feel like you've got a gift, you're supposed to share it, and I think that means whether you drive a tractor or pour coffee, make people smile or laugh, whatever that is I think you're supposed to share that gift."

Throughout the broadcast, Lainey would take the stage for two performances — an emotive, cinematic adaption of her current Top 20 and rising Broken Bow Records single “4x4xU” from her 2025 GRAMMY-nominated Country Album of the Year, Whirlwind, and again for the George Strait tribute performing his signature “Amarillo By Morning.” Lainey's live adaptation of "4x4xU" will release tonight to all streaming platforms. Pre-save/pre-add HERE.

BMG Publishing was proud to see writer Dan Wilson capture a CMA Award for Song of the Year for “White Horse,” a track co-penned and recorded by Chris Stapleton.

In addition, 2025 GRAMMY nominee Jelly Roll, a three-time nominee at the 2024 CMA Awards, also hit the stage twice throughout the broadcast — first with Brooks & Dunn, 2024 Duo of the Year winners, for a powerful and moving performance of “Believe” that had the audience in tears and later with Keith Urban on his fiery Stoney Creek Records single “Liar” from his just-released Billboard 200 #1 album, Beautifully Broken.

Killswitch Engage Announce New Album "This Consequence" + Band Shares "Forever Aligned" Video — WATCH❗

Three-time Grammy-nominated hard rock heavyweights and platinum-selling band Killswitch Engage  Jesse Leach, vocals; Adam Dutkiewicz, guitar; Joel Stroetzel, guitar; Mike D'Antonio, bass; and Justin Foley, drums — are pleased to announce their new album THIS CONSEQUENCE. It arrives February 21 via. Metal Blade. Pre-order it here

The band  has also shared the video for first single "Forever Aligned." Watch it below

"'Forever Aligned' is one of those songs that is not just about us as humans, our love, and connection, but that connection to the unknown, the greater power, the universe, or God," explains Leach. "It feels like a really good first song to release not just sonically, but lyrically, as it is all about connection. The device of world we live in could use a lot more connectivity."

Regarding the album, Leach continues, "This Consequence, to me, is the combination of everything the past five years has thrown at us as a band, as humans, and society as a whole. This album is just as much about everybody and their stories as it is for me about my journey personally. Sonically, I love the combination of everybody's ideas and contributions on this album. It feels more like a collaboration than the past few records have been. When all is said and done, I wouldn't change anything about this album."

He finishes, "I think it's the exact record we needed to make. I'm honored and proud of what we all were able to create and refine through this music and message."

KSE will also embark on a headline tour in March. It's their first tour of North America since late 2022, as the band has been busy working on the new material that has become This Consequence. The tour features support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit For a King and Frozen Soul, and kicks off on March 5 in Nashville and runs through April 12 in Portland, Maine. All dates are below, and includes appearances at key spring festivals. Tickets and VIP packages will be available here.

Additionally, the band returns to the cover of Revolver for the third time. See the Winter 2024 cover below. Get it here. It's on stands in January. Please note this issue is different than the special collector's edition deluxe magazine that is "must own" for fans!

ABOUT KILLSWITCH ENGAGE:
Killswitch Engage first shook the structure of heavy music upon climbing out of snowy industrialized Western Massachusetts in 2000. A musical outlier, the band pioneered a union of thrashed-out European guitar pyrotechnics, East Coast hardcore spirit, on-stage hijinks, and enlightened lyricism that set the pace for what the turn-of-the-century deemed heavy. 2002's Alive Or Just Breathing became avowed as a definitive album, being named among "The Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the Decade" by Decibel and celebrated by everyone from Metal Hammer to Revolver. Not only did they bust open the floodgates for dozens to follow, but they also garnered three GRAMMY® Award nominations in the category of "Best Metal Performance" in 2005, 2014, and 2019, a gold certification for The End of Heartache [2004], and a platinum certification for As Daylight Dies [2006]. The group landed three consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 with Killswitch Engage [2009], Disarm The Descent [2013], and their career high best bow at #6 with Incarnate [2016]. The latter two releases, along with 2019's Atonement, would also both capture #1 on the Top Rock Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. The band's total streams are nearing 3 billion to date, while they've remained consummate road warriors who've sold out countless headline tours and have shared stages with everyone from Iron Maiden to Slipknot to Slayer to My Chemical Romance to Mastodon to Parkway Drive, which is a testament to their ability to cross genres and appeal to all fans of hard rock. KsE have remained a featured attraction at every major North American and European festival through the years. The band is celebrating an astonishing, 25-year career as one of the most vital and genre-defining bands of the '00s and continues its incredible legacy.

UNFD Signs Dreamwake + Band Shares "Heatwave" Video

UNFD is thrilled to welcome Connecticut's DREAMWAKE — Bobby Nabors (vocals); Dave Pazik (guitar);  Kevin Jacques (bass); and Andrew Popolizio (drums) — to the label roster.

To mark the momentous occasion, the band has shared the video for "Heatwave," its debut single for its new label home. Watch it below

The song mashes up screams, synths, and sax, and it will assert itself as your new favorite song and genre!

"'Heatwave' is about that feeling of nostalgia when you look back on life and realize things will never be the same," the band says, effectively capturing a sobering emotion that ALL of us have experience at one point or another. "It's about those moments when you're stuck in the same place but everything around you feels different, and you can't help but long for how things used to be."

Dreamwake continue, "The song reflects that bittersweet tension of trying to hold on to the past while also knowing it's time to let go. It's a reflection on change, growth, and the acceptance that moving forward often means leaving something behind. Ultimately, it's about embracing that shift and finding peace in the next chapter."

Melodic and screamed vocals collide through the song, which is erected on heavy artillery riffing. There's also a gorgeous, '80s-inspired sax and synths woven through the track, making for thrilling and unpredictable listen.

"We're beyond excited to finally share 'Heatwave' with the world," Dreamwake exclaim. "Having the opportunity to work with a great label like UNFD is truly an honor. Their belief in our music and vision means the world to us, and we're grateful for the chance to reach even more people-both our loyal supporters and those discovering us for the first time. We're pumped for what 2025 has in store, and can't wait to take this next chapter together."

Emerging from the bustling scene in New Haven, Connecticut, Dreamwake are a four-piece band that seamlessly blends metalcore with synthwave, crafting a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh. Combining emotionally charged melodies, heavy riffs, and saxophone, Dreamwake offer a unique sonic landscape and they bridge the gap between powerful metal breakdowns and captivating melodies, Now part of the UNFD roster, the band is gearing up for their forthcoming full-length, set for release in 2025. Set to deliver an unforgettable mix of energy, depth, and innovation that will leave a lasting impact on fans.

Also, the band has a holiday show set for December 13 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. Get tickets here. All details are in the graphic below.

Memphis May Fire Announce New Album "SHAPESHIFTER" + Band Shares Video for Title Track

MEMPHIS MAY FIRE  Matty Mullins (vocals), Kellen McGregor (guitar), Cory Elder (bass), and Jake Garland (drums) — spent much of 2024 dropping brand new singles, each of which was more incendiary than the next. Today, they are thrilled to announce their upcoming album SHAPESHIFTER, which arrives March 28 via longtime label Rise Records. Pre-order it here.

The band has also shared the video for the title track. Watch it below

The track and the album take a long, hard look at what lies beneath.

"'Shapeshifter' reflects the struggle of wrestling with identities and the need to confront the masks we wear," says Mullins. "This track, and the entire album, is about exposing those parts of ourselves we often keep hidden. It's a journey through the layers of deception, self-reflection, and the struggle to find what's genuine in a world full of pretense. We wanted 'Shapeshifter' to embody that feeling of losing and finding yourself, over and over, until you finally see what's real."

MMF have also announced a headline tour for Spring 2025, with support from Caskets, Wind Walkers, and Elijah. The tour kicks off April 16 in Little Rock and runs through May 17 in Atlanta. It includes appearances at several key spring festivals, such as Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville. All dates are below. Get tickets here

NAPALM DEATH are credited as pioneers of the grindcore genre by incorporating elements of crust punk and death metal, using a noise-filled sound that uses heavily distorted, down-tuned guitars, grinding overdrive bass, high-speed tempos, blast beats, and vocals that consist of incomprehensible growls or high-pitched shrieks. Their music features extremely short songs, fast tempos, and sociopolitical lyrics. Even after exerting an indelible influence on the entire world of heavy music for nearly 40 years, there is still no band on Earth that sounds like Napalm Death. Not just pioneers, but an enduring benchmark for invention and fearlessness in heavy and experimental music of all kinds, the Birmingham legends are still hurtling forward at full pelt.

THE MELVINS are one of modern music’s most influential bands. Having formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington, the group - founded by vocalist/guitarist Buzz Osborne, with drummer Dale Crover joining a year later - has been credited with merging the worlds of punk rock and heavy music, forming a new subgenre all their own. Over their 40-plus-year career, they’ve released more than 30 original albums, numerous live records, and far too many to count singles and rarities. Recent releases include 2024’s 'Tarantula Heart,' an album that Osborne wrote songs based on a series of improvisational live sessions, the six-song 2022 'Bad Mood Rising,' and 'Five Legged Dog' (2021), an ambitious 36-track acoustic collection that reimagines their heaviest songs alongside covers of their favorite artists.

ABOUT KREATOR

Decades into their game-changing career, German metal legends Kreator find themselves more successful and influential than ever. They’ve stuck to their guns, weathered the trends and outlasted their peers – never once wavering from the ferocious noise that excited them as teens. If anything, that thirst for sonic warfare is just as strong, if not stronger, today. Where others have suffered from creative malnourishment and artistic uncertainty, something which even metal’s biggest and best are prone to, Kreator have always charged full steam ahead – thanks to the red-eyed conviction and fearless determination of founding singer and guitarist Miland ‘Mille’ Petrozza. On 1985 debut Endless Pain, the Essen innovators created the template for extreme noise to come, fusing elements of thrash and black metal in ways that had never been heard before. Their sophomore album of the following year, Pleasure To Kill, became one of the landmark albums of 1986 – making metal history alongside key releases from Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth. And onwards they marched, bringing hellish anthems to the masses in every album that followed, with a track record few could ever rival.

The last decade has been a particularly exciting time for the group, with 2012’s Phantom Antichrist proving how they could embrace modern production techniques and move with the times without forsaking the underground spirit and defiance which made them a household name in the first place. Its successor, 2017’s Gods Of Violence, saw them topping the German charts for the very first time in their career, a feat virtually unheard for a band of such thunderous intensity.

They returned in 2022 with fifteenth opus Hate Über Alles – which marked their first studio album with Frédéric Leclercq (ex-Dragonforce, Sinsaenum) on bass, joining Mille, guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö and drummer Jürgen ‘Ventor’ Reil – the metal titans are once again channelling an unholy heaviness strong enough to tilt the earth off-axis.
