After eight years of soul-searching deep within the Canadian wilderness, Anciients are back and ascending toward their rightful place as guiding lights for progressive metal. The JUNO Award winners recently announced their highly-anticipated third album

To celebrate the coming of Beyond the Reach of the Sun, this fall, Kenny Cook, Mike Hannay and the band's new axe men Brock MacInnes and Rory O'Brien will play three record release shows in their native British Columbia. This special run includes one night at The Rickshaw Theatre in the band's hometown of Vancouver.

"We are beyond excited to play our new album in a live setting for the very first time," Cook says about the band's upcoming shows. "It's going to be epic! More show announcements are coming soon".

Anciients will be supported by five fellow Canadian bands: metal-punks Fearbirds, progressive metalheads Black Thunder, metal stoners Waingro, thrashy death metal trio Bloodrhine and post-metal doomsayers Empress.

It’s been a rough handful of years for British Columbia-based extremity-laced progressive rockers, Anciients. When the quartet unleashed their Voice of the Void album in 2016, the world appeared to be their oyster and things seemed ripe for the picking. They were coming off the success of their Heart of Oak debut from 2013, its ascendancy due in large part to a collective uptick in interest for involved, forward-thinking music. The public had moved beyond toe-dipping and tire-kicking, and were instead doing headfirst dives into exploring the likes of Opeth, Mastodon, Baroness, The Ocean, Intronaut and others who originally hailed from the extreme music underground, but had since grown, matured and scrubbed behind their ears to include heaping and healthy chunks from the outskirts of their record collections and influence pools.

The Band That Auto-Correct Loves to Fuck With™ shared stages with everyone from High on Fire and Goatwhore to Boris and Lamb of God, were in the midst of a European tour when they discovered they were JUNO Award (Canadian Grammy equivalent) winners in the heavy metal/hard rock category. The world was ready to accept Anciients into its welcoming arms. Anciients was gearing up to employ takeover methods, specifically their brand of thunderous rhythms and labyrinthine riffing bolstered by a road warrior mentality. And then, the momentum petered out and the band seemingly fell off the face of the earth.

Today, Anciients are ready and poised to resume their spirited quest for heavy metal paramountcy. There’s no doubt the band is back and with a stunning and beautiful collection of ten songs on offer in the form of new and third album, Beyond the Reach of the Sun, they are positioning to reestablish themselves as a dominant force for those who love windmilling their tresses around thoughtful tempo changes, complex harmonic layers and driving power chord shifting. But what the hell happened and where did they disappear to?

“Basically,” explains guitarist/vocalist Kenny Cook, “right before Voice of the Void was recorded, my wife had our first kid. She ended up having heart complications and almost passed away from it. We recorded the last record and once it came out, I was kind of just focusing on her, dealing with her health issues and keeping that in check. I wasn’t at the stage where I could be gone for half a year, especially with a new kid. Long story short, she’s happy and healthy now, but dealing with family issues was the main priority. It was a bit of a road.”

Adding to that bit of Anciients camp turmoil, guitarist/co-vocalist/co-founding member, Chris Dyck and the band parted ways in January of 2017. This left a gaping lineup hole at an inopportune juncture in the band’s timeline. Not only did Cook have to deal with the absence of his long-term song and lyric writing partner, but Dyck was also someone he had been splitting vocal duties with since the pair formed the band in 2009. And then, while helping his wife with her recovery, raising their new born and “because we wanted to raise our son in a small town environment,” the Cook family uprooted to Columbia-Shuswap four hours east of the Vancouver area, where drummer Mike Hannay, Brock MacInnes (Dyck’s replacement) and brand spanking new bassist Rory O’Brien still reside.

“We knew Brock from other bands he’d been in and we knew he’d be a great fit,” explains Cook. “He actually filled in for Chris on a tour we did back in 2015. As far as the vocals, I just found myself picking up the slack on both ends. It felt somewhat natural, it was definitely different. Doing the lyrics myself for the first time was somewhat daunting, but it was also something done out of necessity. But even when Chris was in the band I handled 80-90% of the vocals anyway, so it didn’t change all that much.”

Then, that whole COVID-19 thing you probably heard about once or twice hit in 2020 and put another restraining bolt on Anciients' activity, especially touring as the Canadians found themselves dealing with stricter travel restrictions and mandates than many other countries; most notably, not being able to cross the border for almost two years. Once the dust settled, Cook had to adjust to being the lone vocalist and how that impacted the material he was writing while navigating being creative with distance between Anciients’ members for the first time. Not a biggie, as in-person writing sessions are more of a rarity these days, but because of the time elapsed since Voices of the Void, things/interests/influences changed and the band ended up scrapping half of an album’s worth of material and starting fresh. When they put their heads down at the end of 2021 with the focus being Beyond the Reach of the Sun, what was revealed a year later was more streamlined and slithery, more chest-thumpingly direct, more epic and triumphant sounding. Riffs come in explosive layered packets. Leads, harmonies and melodies are more on par with wind-tussled mountain tops instead of sweaty bar shows and the band moves with finely honed, martial accuracy as conducted by Hannay’s rocket-in-the-pocket staccato swing and accents.

Songs like “The Torch” blaze with the shirtless glisten of ‘70s stadium rock power. “Cloak of the Vast and Black” swirls and whirls with a combination of hardcore intensity, grunge groove and expansive six-string parries. “In the Absence of Wisdom” is a hurricane-sized maelstrom of classic and prog rock elevated to grandiosity by a return to their growling sludge/death early years as the song/album concludes. The album’s first single, “Melt the Crown” mixes cues from legendary fellow hosers Rush and Harlequin, turn-of-the-millennium post-metal and the most psychedelic corners of the Rise Above Records roster.

“The new record has a lot more of our rock side,” Cook offers, “and leans towards those elements of our sound and personalities, whereas Voice of the Void was pretty crushing all the way through. With the new material we’ve tried to add more dynamics to the music and give the songs more room to breathe."

Album opener “Forbidden Sanctuary” is the soundtrack to exploration, of new worlds and sonic arrangement as sine-wave guitars pull from vintage Mercyful Fate covens and Krautrock communes with synths opening up novel textural avenues, as they do on the ethereal wispiness and space rock/sci-fi soundscapes of the instrumental “Candescence.” Beyond the Reach of the Sun sees synths and keyboards making their first appearance on an Anciients record and were played by producer/mixer Jesse Gander and Justin Hagberg at the former’s Rain City Recorders studio. In addition to augmenting the album with his skill on the black and whites, Hagberg — a member of the recently reunited 3 Inches of Blood —  also helped Anciients navigate a significant last-minute hurdle, one that threatened to pull the reins back on their comeback roar.

“We lost our bass player literally a month before we were going in to record and were kind of up shit’s creek. Justin also plays in a band called Ritual Dictates with Rory and is the one who brought his name up.”

O’Brien, a former member of Vancouver’s Bushwhacker, was absolutely interested when approached by Anciients.

“We got lucky and he saved our asses at the last minute.”

Cook stepped up to the challenge of being the sole lyricist to drape Beyond the Reach of the Sun in deeply personal expressions of the inner turmoil, fear and isolation he’d experienced in himself and saw in others over the past few years. There were moments where he didn’t know whether loved ones were going to pull through and what life was going to look like were tragedy come to pass. Mental health and people living life without being able to see any light at the end of the tunnel became a very prevalent theme to tracks like “Despoiled” and “Beyond Our Minds.” And while the line that became the album’s title is taken from a David Attenborough-narrated Planet Earth documentary, it speaks more to the coming and going of despondency when one doesn’t know how dark the darkness is going to get, as in “Is It Your God,” which pulls from the manifestation of grief and how it can shatter belief systems.

“That one is a little more personal to me and my situation,” Cook says somberly. "I had a good friend of mine from when I was younger pass away from cancer. His mother was super-religious and there were ideas taken from her questioning how could something like that happen to her when she had such a strong faith.”

The title and themes of stripped away hope and piled on anguish and tumult were parlayed into the album’s spectacular cover art. Created by Adam Burke (Nightjar Illustrations), the drawing is part-pulp novel cover, part-Franzetta landscape, part-sci-fi movie poster and all a vast illustration one can easily lose themselves in while the record spins in the background.

“We gave him the concept and basic outline of how we wanted the cover to look and he took it to a whole new dimension. It turned out pretty wild!”

With all being said and done, Anciients have returned! They stand ready to ascend the prog metal ladder and get back to doing what they do best with a weighty and dense, but wholly accessible, album. It’s a collection of ten songs that possesses the ability to have those furiously banging heads also tapping into their power of self-reflection and contemplation to ponder the finality of existence, the value of life and their place in the universe.

“Totally! We’re going to take as many of the opportunities that come to us. The hiatus is over and I think with the new members and everyone being on the same page we’re ready to get out there as soon as possible. We missed out on a huge block after the last record, so we’ve got to make up for lost time. Now that everyone is happy and healthy, we plan to hit it hard.”

Sanguisugabogg Share "Permanently F**ked" Video

Ohio's notorious, boundary-pushing, and bloodsucking death metal outfit Sanguisugabogg — Cody Davidson, drums; Drew Arnold, guitars/bass; Devin Swank, vocals; and Ced Davis, guitars/bass — have shared the video for the brand new and gloriously irreverent single "Permanently Fucked." The video finds the band in performance mode... with some bloody imagery woven throughout.

Watch it Below

"The meaning of the song is a drastically blown out of proportion way of showing how much you love someone," the band states. "We got inspiration of the song from the 2018 horror film Pet where Dominic Monaghan's character volunteers himself as a vice for Ksenia Solo's character so she can torture and humiliate them and they're bound to their cage so she doesn't free the urge to murder someone instinctively and doesn't get arrested or imprisoned for killing people."

This is the first taste of new music since last year's 2023's Homicidal Ecstasy. That album followed 2021's Tortured Whole. The band continues to slice up uncompromising, in-your-face, and not-for-the-weak death metal that siphons inspiration from early to mid-'90s and early '00s death metal and brutal death metal/grindcore presented in their own style with a unique twist that pleases every style of metal maniac.

About Jelly Roll:

Award-winning, Grammy nominated Nashville native singer/songwriter Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord) debuted Top 3 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart and #2 on the Top Country Album charts with his debut Country Album, Whitsitt Chapel (released June 2nd, 2023) - earning the biggest Country debut album in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Following his sweep at the 2023 CMT Music Awards where he earned 3 awards to become the most awarded artist of the night, the Billboard Country Power List Cover star and “country’s ‘most authentic’ new artist” (The New Yorker) received Billboard’s 2023 Breakthrough Award and the People’s Choice Award for Male Country Artist of the Year. Nominated for Best New Artist and Best Duo/Group Performance for “Save Me (with Lainey Wilson)” at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards, along with eight genre-spanning nominations at the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards and a win for best New Country and New Pop artist, Jelly Roll is one of three artists alongside Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs to have scored three Country Airplay #1s in 2023 and the first to do it with his first three singles. He has earned four consecutive #1s to date at Country radio and is “one of Nashville’s fastest rising stars” (The New York Times). A 4X winner at the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards and the most nominated male at the 2023 CMA Awards, with five total nominations capturing his first CMA Award for New Artist of the Year, Jelly continues to break boundaries. His #1 hit single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt— set the stage for his new season of life and took him to new heights including a Platinum certification from the RIAA on the heels of his 28-week reign at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. Most recently, “Save Me” earned Jelly his first ACM win for Musical Event of the year, and he is set to release new music following his four consecutive #1 singles: “Halfway To Hell,” “Save Me,” “Need A Favor” and “Son of A Sinner.”

Not just an artist but a humanitarian, Jelly Roll continues to resonate with fans on a global scale while racking up numerous milestones - from playing his sold-out hometown show for 18,000 fans at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to donating a recording studio at the juvenile detention center he served in as a teen, to the release of his record-breaking documentary by ABC News, “Save Me” - the most watched music documentary on the platform - to his visits with rehab centers and those incarcerated across the US. Featured by Nightline, GMA, GMA3, The New York Times, LA Times, The Tennessean, Billboard, Variety, American Songwriter, CMT and more, his self-built, unconventional industry rise and unique fan connection has garnered praise from numerous outlets, with Variety noting, “for everyone who’s facing the same struggles, Jelly Roll is their Springsteen,” and American Songwriter echoing, “with a string of accolades and an extremely dedicated following, Jelly Roll has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.”

Morgan Wallen Announces Special Guests for Hyde Park London on July 4

American Express presents BST Hyde Park is excited to welcome 11x Billboard Music Award winner and reigning Male Artist of the Year Morgan Wallen, headlining on Thursday, July 4. Today, we welcome more special guests to the line up, including Alana Springsteen, Alexandra Kay, Zandi Holup, Abbie Mac, The Halfway Kid and Evan Bartels. They join the previously announced Riley Green, ERNEST and Ella Langley. Tickets for this unmissable show are on sale now, available at www.bst-hydepark.com

Alana Springsteen is a young Nashville singer songwriter leading a new generation of country stars, having released her debut album TWENTY SOMETHING last year. She has been writing songs since she was nine years old, inspired by a Taylor Swift concert, even penning a track on her album called ‘taylor did’ in tribute. But she is blazing her own trail and her connection with audiences, both in real life and online, which will be in evidence in Hyde Park this summer.

Alexandra Kay is another young star for the digital age, building her career with millions of video views online before making her Grand Ole Opry debut at the age of 22. She has since collaborated with the likes of Tim McGraw and Randy Travis, played the UK’s Country to Country festival, and independently released her debut album All I’ve Ever Known in 2023, adding to her 300 million streams so far.

Another newcomer for BST Hyde Park audiences to discover is prolific artist-writer Zandi Holup. Reminiscent of folk heroes like Dolly Parton and Joni Mitchell, Holup made her debut last year with the song "Gas Station Flowers." Her raw brand of original folk country flourishes through unfiltered storytelling and her emotive vocals, supported by a growing grassroots following of listeners.

Also on the line-up and waiting to be discovered are Derry’s teenage singer songwriter Abbie Mac, British-Sudanese folk singer The Halfway Kid, and up-and-coming Nebraskan Evan Bartels.

Previously announced is the first ever UK performance for country star Riley Green, Nashville's most unpredictable hitmaker ERNEST, plus artist to watch, Ella Langley.

Headliner Morgan Wallen says, “Last fall was my first time in the UK and man, I loved it. I saw so much while I was there, and the people were incredible. To play where legendary artists like Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones have played is a huge honour for me and my band, and we can’t wait to be back.”

One of today’s brightest stars in music, Morgan Wallen has been riding a non-stop wave of success with a string of 13 No. 1 hits. His latest single with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” was a major hit upon release, placing at No. 2 in the Official Charts in the UK, while simultaneously catapulting to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 all-genre charts, where it has remained for four consecutive weeks.

Wallen's rise to prominence has been nothing short of meteoric. With The New York Times proclaiming Wallen as “one of the biggest stars in pop, period,” he continues to reign as one of Country’s top touring artists, playing to over 2.4 million fans. Wallen will bring the show to BST Hyde Park for the first time this summer.

Earlier this year, Wallen released Abbey Road Sessions, commemorating the one-year anniversary of his record-setting album One Thing At A Time. Recorded in London in the iconic Studio Two at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios on Dec. 5, 2023, the digital series includes five live recordings from One Thing At A Time, an unreleased fan-favorite, “Lies Lies Lies,” and a never-before-recorded cover of British rock band Nothing But Thieves’ “Graveyard Whistling.” Watch/listen to Abbey Road Sessions HERE.

Wallen's authentic storytelling and raw emotion struck a chord with fans, propelling him to the forefront of the country music scene. Last year saw him release his third studio album, One Thing At A Time, which reigned atop the all-genre Billboard 200 chart for 19 non-consecutive weeks, tying Garth Brooks’ Ropin’ the Wind with the most weeks at No. 1 for a Country album, and was the most-streamed album of the year on Spotify. The album recently returned to No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart for its 51st non-consecutive week, the sole second-longest command in the chart’s 60- year history.

The lineup for American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2024 is set to be truly spectacular, with headliners SZA (June 29), Kings of Leon (June 30), Morgan Wallen (July 4), Andrea Bocelli (July 5), Robbie Williams (July 6), Shania Twain (July 7), Stevie Nicks (July 12), Kylie (July 13) and Stray Kids (July 14), with the full line up for each day to be announced, and All Things Orchestral on June 28.

This announcement follows the tremendous success of BST Hyde Park 2023, featuring legendary acts such as P!NK, Guns N’ Roses, Take That, BLACKPINK, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Billy Joel and Lana Del Rey.

Mark’s next song and video release is “Better Off Alone” which will be available June 21 on all streaming and video platforms. “Out of all the songs on this album, I feel like 'Better Off Alone' will have the broadest appeal. The song touches on insecurities, imposter syndrome, and feeling like you’re messed up but knowing you can find your way out of the dark. So many of us have been there. I want people to know they’re not alone in those feelings and that they can find their way forward,” says Daly.

The fall tour in direct support of Richie Kotzen will be Daly’s second extended run of 2024, his first being a January block of dates alongside melodic rock supergroup Mr. Bigthat also included headlining shows of his own, including a marquee performance at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.

Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Daly is no stranger to American audiences, having toured extensively with acts including Candlebox, Queensrÿche and Geoff Tate. “I absolutely love everything about being on the road – meeting so many incredible people each night and getting lost in the music onstage, it’s pure magic,” says Daly.

Mark was first discovered while performing with his band The Voodoos in Spain. During one of their shows, music manager Brian Message (Radiohead, Nick Cave) was in the crowd and brought the band to London to record their first EP. An early highlight in Mark’s career was beating out more than 10,000 bands to earn a performance at the MTV EMA Awards with The Voodoos, launching their international touring career.

Mark Daly’s first venture as a solo artist hit No. 1 on the Scottish New Music Chart. Inspired by his son, Noah, the track “Your World” was written for an autism awareness charity.

ABOUT JUDAS PRIEST
Judas Priest, a powerhouse in the world of heavy metal has spent over 50 years crafting a legendary career. Emerging from Birmingham in 1969, their impact and influence in the genre remain unparalleled. The band originally solidified their place in music history with iconic albums like 'Sad Wings of Destiny' and 'Sin After Sin' known for metal anthems like 'Sinner' and 'Hell Bent for Leather' while pioneering the leather-and-studs image now synonymous with the metal culture.

The '80s marked their pinnacle with classic albums 'British Steel', 'Screaming for Vengeance', and 'Defenders of the Faith', generating timeless hits like 'Breaking the Law'. Despite lineup changes and various challenges, the band's resilience remained unwavering. In 2018 Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Richie Faulkner, Ian Hill and Scott Travis released 'Firepower' which soared as one of their most successful albums (alongside 'Invincible Shield') — backed by an extensive global tour.

Amid health setbacks and the pandemic, they persevered with a 50th-anniversary tour and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Following a headlining performance at the 2023 PowerTrip Music Festival and the release of their 19th studio album 'Invincible Shield', Judas Priest's unwavering dedication to spreading their heavy metal legacy continues, promising to rock on into 2024 and beyond.

Trench Share "DIVIDED BETWEEN NEW SKIN" Video

Calgary's hardest band TRENCH   Jay Breen (vocals); Tony Chan (bass); Cole Young (guitar/electronics); and Tommy Chan (drums) — are back with a brand new banger. The band has shared the video for "DIVIDED BETWEEN NEW SKIN." Watch it Below

It's actually three singles in one: "DIVIDED EXISTENCE," "BETWEEN INVERTED WORLDS," and "NEW SKIN PROTOCOL."

Yes, it's a rager. Yes, it will tear your head clean off your neck with its ferociousness, while the animated video will capture your attention and never let it go. Essentially, Trench and "DIVIDED BETWEEN NEW SKIN" are the total hard rock package.

"The first track 'Divided Existence' is entirely electronic and was composed by Cole Young," says vocalist Jay Breen. "The song was designed to ease you in and take you on a journey leading into the first track. The song 'Between Inverted Worlds' tackles the emotions of always being between self doubt and self fulfillment. The track is about facing your defeat and self doubt. 'New Skin Protocol' is metaphorically about the reinvention of yourself though facing these emotions."

He continues, "Musically, we have progressively gotten heavier. The electronics have gotten more experimental and have become a bigger part of the band. We challenged ourselves musically and technically and left it all on the table."

About the video, Breen furthers, "'Divided Between New Skin' represents the struggle between being stuck between self deprecation and self-fulfillment. The animation takes you through the story of retrieving an intergalactic soldier who mysteriously perished on their quest. After finding the soldier, they are restored and recreated into a new and improved being through a series of protocols. The story may continue one day…"

ABOUT TRENCH:
In a world where conformity reigns supreme, Trench stand defiant and unapologetic, daring to carve their own path through the music scene. With their unforgettably distinct and refreshing approach to metal music, they've crafted a sound that's as bold as it is brooding, refusing to adhere to anyone's expectations but their own. Their journey began in 2017, instantly marking Trench as a force to be reckoned with. After exploring their sound in the early days, they weren’t content to rest on their laurels, revealing the boundaries they were willing to push with the release of The Gift of Guilt in 2019, diving deep into synthetic post-metal landscapes while confronting the harsh realities of life and loss head-on.

Along the way, Trench's ferocious live performances and unyielding determination caught worldwide attention, earning them spots on stages alongside heavyweights like Misery Signals, Comeback Kid, Integrity, and Harm’s Way. Their rapid evolution didn't go unnoticed either; the impact of their debut LP Blossom in 2020 (with Jesse Zaraska of Misery Signals accompanying them on "Hellbent Gate") led to their inevitable record deal with New Damage Records. Their fourth official release in 2022, Encased in Chrome, propelled Trench to new heights, sharing the stage with modern-day legends Knocked Loose. It was also featured on Cult of Luna's Top 10 List in 2023. Shortly after, Trench was invited to play overseas at Beyond The Redshift Festival in London, alongside iconic death metal band Napalm Death.

Kenny Chesney's 'Sun Goes Down 2024' Plays Philly Sick, Hits New Record

Having sold out Lincoln Financial Field in March, adding tickets and selling those out, too, Kenny Chesney recognizes the longstanding passion the City of Brotherly Love has for his kind of hard-driving American music. Knowing how many people wanted tickets, he worked to put more chairs on the floor – and make space “for anyone who wants to come out, sing these songs with us and have the time of their summer.”

Hitting an unheard-of personal record of 56,292 members of No Shoes Nation at the home of the Philadelphia Eagles, Chesney came in hot – knowing they’d bring their “A” game. What the eight-time Entertainer of the Year and man the Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” wasn’t counting on was being stricken with a bronchial infection that landed fast and dug in.

“Some cities you just look forward to, and Philadelphia is always one of them,” Chesney said after the 90+ minute show. “When I felt it settling in my chest, I refused to even consider the possibility of not doing this show. From the moment it sold out and we added a few thousand more tickets, I could feel the love and excitement – and I wasn’t going to let people down.”

Not only did he not let people down, the people raised their voices with his to bolster the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar when he would step away from the mic in a coughing spasm. Tea was drunk, sweat poured off the high-energy performer, but mostly it was love being exchanged and songs shared with every bit of verve and fervor.

“There were a couple times where I wasn’t sure, and then I’d hear No Shoes Nation come rolling at the stage with everything they had, and I couldn’t help but smile. Their wanting to sing along really lifted me up and kept me going. And when I couldn’t they did, and it was absolutely the greatest feeling in the world. With fans like that, I’ll always bring everything we’ve got.”

In addition to adding “Guitars and Tiki Bars” to the show, “Setting the World on Fire,” his nightly duet with Austin-based bass player Harmoni Kelley, had a particular spark. And Uncle Kracker’s return to the stage for the one, two punch of their five-week No. 1 duet “When the Sun Goes Down” and Kracker’s record-shattering 28-week Adult Contemporary No. 1 “Drift Away” delighted fans. With the audience in fine voice, it was a love fest and singalong.

“No Shoes Nation shows up early, tailgates like they mean it, then brings all that heart into the stadium. Just their normal response to my songs is incredible, but when they could tell I was using every last ounce of energy, they pulled together and lifted me up. It was awesome.”

With a St. Louis amphitheater date this Thursday, June 13, and Chicago’s Soldier Field on tap for next Saturday, June 15, Chesney is going to spend the week resting up and getting ready to get back out there, playing hard and bringing the songs No Shoes Nation lives by, for and through to life. Once again, presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour brings all the high velocity energy and songs people know by heart back to America’s favorite football stadiums.

All dates are below.

The tour is also the catalyst and the creative spark for the bands' collaborative track "can u see me in the dark?" Listen here.

It's an epic and explosive pairing, just like the tour itself, thanks to the vocal chemistry between I Prevail's Eric Vanlerberghe and Halestorm's Lzzy Hale, stormy riffs, and unforgettable chorus. It will go down as one of the smash hits of Summer 2024.

Watch the lyric video Below.

"We're excited to finally have a song come out,' says Vanlerberghe. "It was a fun challenge to blend the Halestorm and I Prevail sounds together. We really focused on creating a music bed that felt very much I Prevail and letting Lzzy just shine and do what she does best. I feel we found a very sick way to blend the two identities of our bands into one massive song. I'm really looking forward to this tour and possibly playing this song live together for everyone."

"In celebration of our upcoming tour together, we joined forces with the boys of I Prevail and wrote an original song together," says Hale. "'can u see me in the dark?' is written for our collective fan bases, our community, our family. We want you to know that you are seen and you are not alone shining through life's myriad of joy and pain. We can't wait to feast our eyes on you this summer!"

ABOUT HALESTORM:
Having amassed over 2.5 Billion streams globally, the Grammy-Award winning band Halestorm has grown from a childhood dream of siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale into one of the most celebrated rock bands of the last two decades.  Most recently, the band released Back From The Dead, their fifth full-length studio album which has tallied over 100 Million streams worldwide. Rolling Stone called the title track "a biting but cathartic howler about overcoming all obstacles,” and that song as well, as "The Steeple," marked their fifth and sixth number ones at rock radio, respectively. Associated Press said the album "will definitely be in the running for best hard rock/metal album of the year." Their previous album, Vicious, earned the band their second Grammy nomination, for Best Hard Rock Performance for the song "Uncomfortable," the band's fourth #1 at rock radio, and led Loudwire to name Halestorm "Rock Artist of the Decade" in 2019.  Fronted by the incomparable Lzzy Hale with drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bass player Josh Smith, Halestorm's music has earned multiple Platinum and Gold Certifications from the RIAA, and the band has earned a reputation as a powerful live music force, headlining sold-out shows and topping festival bills around the world, and sharing the stage with icons including Heaven & Hell, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, and Judas Priest. Additionally, Lzzy was named the first female brand ambassador for Gibson and served as host of AXS TV's "A Year in Music."

ABOUT I PREVAIL:
I Prevail have established themselves as the forerunners of the genre in the 21st century. Their latest release TRUE POWER, once again produced by Tyler Smyth, features the sort of stadium-sized riffs that will rattle your teeth loose from your gums and unforgettable, supremely catchy melodies that will camp out in your brain for weeks at a time. The band also alternately mixes screamed vocals that sound as though they crawled from the depths of hell with soaring, emotional vocals and heartfelt, intimate lyrics that go so deep, they hit marrow. The end result is an album that resonates with the listener in the most personal way. Rising to an arena level and receiving two Grammy nominations — Best Rock Album for Trauma and Best Metal Performance for crushing lead single "Bow Down" — I Prevail proved that they were built to last. To date, they've racked up more than 4.2 billion global streams, are approaching 755 million YouTube views, and saw both "Hurricane" and "Bad Things" singles top Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart in 2020 and 2022 respectively. A number of their singles and album Lifelines have now been certified Gold and Platinum, and they have been praised by press far and wide, including Forbes, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and NPR. I Prevail have affirmed their position among the genre's elite.

Southern California’s NAILS have revealed details today of their long-awaited, 4th full-length album, Every Bridge Burning. Their first record in 8 years will be released on August 30th with Nuclear Blast Records and features 10 tracks of pure, relentless aggression that can only be described as the sound of NAILS.

The tumultuous new album was produced by Kurt Ballou at God City Studio and features aptly diabolic artwork by Jef Whitehead.

Today, NAILS gives fans a taste of what’s to come with the hostile new single ‘Imposing Will.’

‘Imposing Will’ is special to the record in that I knew we wanted it to be the opener,” explains Jones. “We wanted it to have the effect of an urgency; an immediacy in the music itself. When you push play, you get smacked in the face.”

About NAILS:

For the first time in over 8 years, the blistering assault on our nervous system that can only be described as the sound of NAILS, has reemerged. With Carlos Cruz on drums, Andrew Solis on Bass, Shelby Lermo on Guitars, and Todd Jones on guitar & vocals, the upcoming studio album, EVERY BRIDGE BURNING, will be revealed August 30th, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The album artwork, a creation by Jef Whitehead, serves as a visual prelude to the auditory chaos—a stark representation of the aural brutality that NAILS delivers.

Recording for the album commenced in Massachusetts at God City Studio with Kurt Ballou (of CONVERGE), whose contribution is integral to the NAILS sound, as elucidated by Jones: “we’ve recorded every album with Kurt. He’s such an important ingredient as to how we present our music. When our fans want to hear NAILS, they want to hear something that is through the filter of Kurt’s engineering.”

EVERY BRIDGE BURNING was born out of unwavering dedication to NAILS fans and the underground music scene. It echoes their commitment to authenticity and raw power. NAILS remains a beacon of rebellion and resilience in a world hungry for genuine expression. With no shortage of effort or meticulous song arrangement, the time has arrived to become engulfed in the ferocity of NAILS once again as EVERY BRIDGE BURNING unveils a new, but familiar chapter in extreme music.

This band was modeled after some of my favorite bands; the type of bands where, when they put out an album, you know what it’s going to sound like,” describes Jones, “it’s the delivery of the expectation.” The sensory destroying musical onslaught that we’ve all been missing is back. NAILS is Todd Jones, Carlos Cruz, Andrew Solis, and Shelby Lermo.

AU's Windwaker Drop "Get Out" Video

Australia's WINDWAKER — vocalist Liam Guinane, guitarist Jesse Crofts, bassist Indey Salvestro, drummer Chris Lalic, and synths/samples specialist Connor Robins — recently announced their new album HYPERVIOLENCE, which arrives July 12 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here

They've dropped the video for the latest single "Get Out." Watch it Below.

It's a melancholic alt rock jam, sprinkled with phonk samples and Memphis/Southern hip-hop influenced electronic passages. The chorus is anthemic in nature, with less focus on technical guitar parts and more emphasis on playful rhythms.

"'Get Out' is about wanting someone (or something) out of your life and conscious thought," the band offers. "It explores the discomfort of something negative returning to the present, and the consequences of staying in a relationship for longer than you should."

Windwaker will embark on their first-ever U.S. tour this summer in support of Northlane. All dates are below and get amped to enjoy Windwaker live and onstage, in their most natural state.

Shattering all restraint, Windwaker tear at the seams of their sonic boundaries, refining and finessing their craft into something truly unique. Concocting an unsuspecting recipe of electro-charged violence, sickly sweet pop hooks, bouncing hip-hop moments and slick riffage, the charismatic quintet move towards exciting new territory with each new release. And HYPERVIOLENCE is the summit of their efforts.

Emerging out of Melbourne, Victoria, the Australian outfit has cultivated a dedicated and passionate fanbase, amassing millions of digital streams since their inception in 2017. Last July's release, "SIRENS," has cracked over 2.7 million Spotify streams in just a few months time, and saw the band travel across the nation in celebration on the Love In The Dark Tour with Caskets (UK) and alt., selling out nearly every date along the way.

The band's debut album Love Language was released in 2022 via Fearless Records and Cooking Vinyl, demonstrated an unpredictable and undeniable exploration of love across 12 tracks. Windwaker translate their electric and eclectic energy on record to the live stage, with JB Hi-Fi's STACK Magazine last year reviewing: "From full-on mosh to sensitive slowdance, the five-piece delivered a propulsive statement on the status of modern metalcore." The band have carved their name into the core of Australia's alternative music community and have toured alongside some of metal's most favored acts — Beartooth (US), I Prevail (US), Motionless In White (US), Enter Shikari (UK), Caskets (UK), Creeper (UK), Northlane, and more.

Singer Songwriter Rob Gaylard relocated home to Sydney Australia in February 2022 after 5 years as a regular feature of the New York City indie rock scene and recorded New Horizons with Dan Frizza in Sydney at Forbes Studios.

The Nomadic is the best of Aussie rock talent, with Miles Thomas (Lior, Ronan Keating, Montaigne) on drums, Oliver Thorpe (The Whitlams, Matt Corby, Meg Mac)on guitar, and Brendan Clark (Meg Mac, Montaigne, Jack River) on bass. Dan Frizzaas producer lends the kind of magic touch that has seen him enrich the work of the likes of Tones & I, King Princess, and Gurrumul.

About the new releases, singer songwriter Rob explains “We are now into the 'rockier' side of our New Horizons album, which is a 14 track album to be released mid year. 'Don’t Give Up on Your Dreams' is both introspective and empowering, and is really a call to arms for everyone to live their best lives! 'Hearts and Minds' is inspired by my time working with the UN in Afghanistan, in the middle of a war for the hearts and minds of the local population. 'Revolution' is all about the massive life changes and revolutions that happen in our lives at the individual, community, national and global levels! As the chorus line goes- it is never too late to start a revolution!"

Australian guitarist and singer/songwriter Robert Gaylard brings a unique perspective and vision when it comes to creating music. His inspiration and passion for starting The Nomadic began early on as a child after traveling to many countries like Myanmar (formerly Burma), Singapore and the Solomon Islands. His “nomadic” lifestyle continued on into his adulthood when he began to work for the United Nations in various countries such as: Kenya, Somalia, the Sudan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Israel and Palestine. His travels eventually brought him to New York in September of 2012 and motivated him to pursue his songwriting by establishing an indie rock band.

Influenced by artists like Oasis, Radiohead, The Verve, Bruce Springsteen, Phosphorescent, The War on Drugs, Arizona and The 1975, The Nomadic produces a sound genre like no other as alternative rock meets blues with hints of Americana and pop.

Having been originally influenced by numerous cultures and ways of life, The Nomadicpromotes and advocates for issues of social action and innovation, human rights, support for minorities, as well as doing the next right thing, including the idea that it is never too late, including for people to follow their dreams and passions.

Ian Munsick Celebrates Red Rocks Debut w/ Friends & Family + Surprise Crow Tribe Adoption

Wyoming native Ian Munsick returned to the Rocky Mountain region Wednesday, June 5 for his sold-out headlining debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado alongside friends and family. After stampeding through his 24 song set filled with surprise moments, Munsick’s family expanded by the end of the night when The Crow Tribe joined him on-stage, officially adopting him as part of their tribe.

“Red Rocks was the greatest night of my musical life,” muses Munsick. “The songs I create are inspired by the magic that surrounds that venue. Getting to experience that unity in real time with 10,000 people who were elevating that energy is now a core memory. This Rocky Mountain boy was in heaven for 90 minutes…so surreal and even spiritual. I can honestly say that playing Red Rocks has changed my life.”

As his signature cattle call echoed through the venue’s famed monoliths signaling show time, Munsick fittingly kickstarted the evening with an upbeat, fiddle-laden performance of “Mountain Time” off his debut album Coyote Cry.

Throughout the night, Munsick interweaved songs old and new into his set, tributing his roots with “Me Against The Mountain,” while also showcasing his growth since moving to Nashville ten years ago, with recent releases “Heartbreak King” and “Leather” – the latter of which served as the title track on Cody Johnson’s ACM nominated Album of the Year. Sprinkled into the set were surprise guest moments as fellow Wyoming native Ryan Charles joined Munsick for their viral hit “Cowboy Killer.”

Toward the end of the night, prior to performing his wistful ode to the American West, “Indian Paintbrush,” Munsick was joined on-stage by JoRee LaFrance, a member of the Crow Tribe who has a long history with the Munsick family. A former student of Ian’s father, Dave Munsick, LaFrance grew up around the Munsicks and heavily influenced Munsick’s musical journey. Due to this close tie, along with Munsick’s dedication to authentically representing the west, LaFrance surprised him on-stage by officially adopting him into the Apsáalooke/Crow Tribe.

“As Apsáalooke/Crow people, we heavily rely on our clan system, Ashaammalíaxxia/Where the Driftwood Lodges. We are a matrilineal society with currently six clans with Úuwaataasshe/Greasy Mouth being one of them,” explains LaFrance. “I am Greasy Mouth and I am a child of the Ties the Bundle clan. Greasy Mouths are known to be good hunters, their power comes from the sun, and are the same clan as Iichiikbaaliia/First Maker. I adopted Ian into my family and clan because of our longtime friendship with the Munsick family and the fact he comes from Crow Country.

“They have always shown nothing but love and respect to my twin sister and I. We have always been family. I gave Ian four gifts to welcome him into our tribe. As Apsáalooke, we take adoption very seriously; being adopted means that you are valued and truly a part of our family and community,” she adds. “Our people are his people now and nobody can question that. Crow Country loves Ian and we want him to know that we will always welcome him home.”

Concluding the evening with the band that inspired his career, Munsick was joined by The Munsick Boys comprised of his father, Dave, and brothers, Tris and Sam, for a performance of one of his first recordings, a cover of Wade Montgomery's “Weakness.”

Munsick’s Red Rocks debut precedes his upcoming Fall Country & WESTern Tour presented by Boot Barnwhich will deliver the man celebrated by HITS Daily Double and The New Yorker alike for putting the “western back in country” back to his roots with nine shows throughout the west. Munsick is currently headlining his Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour, and can be seen on select dates of Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour this summer.

About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick painted a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album White Buffalo, out now. Spanning unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honkytonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun, it builds upon the spacious roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Now, Munsick is preparing to release a deluxe version of the album, including five new tracks, titled White Buffalo: Introduce You To God on April 5, 2024. Over the past four years, Munsick has accumulated nearly half a BILLION global streams and a host of accolades. He has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and most recently was named a Martin Showcase Artist. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson, and will serve as direct support for select dates of Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again tour this year, while simultaneously headlining his own Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour. The Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown, was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” off his debut album Coyote Cry. Fans of Ian Munsick will always find an open heart, natural awe and plainspoken honesty as he rides on… bringing the West to the rest. Online at IanMunsick.com.

Koe Wetzel's "High Road" with Jessie Murph Out Now; New Album 9 LIVES Available 7/19

With recent release “Sweet Dreams” sending fans into a frenzy and pushing Koe Wetzel to a Billboard Hot 100 debut and the No. 1 album on Apple Music’s country chart with just three songs available, the journeyman turned bona fide cultural force continues to tease 9 Lives, his forthcoming fifth studio album set for July 19 release on Columbia Records, via today’s release of “High Road” with MTV PUSH Artist and Billboard 21 Under 21 honoree Jessie Murph. Listen Below and pre-order / pre-save the album HERE.

“‘High Road’ is a good example of how this album shows a different side of me than people might expect. Every record’s almost turning a new leaf, always a left turn because of how honest I am,” he admits with a laugh. “But this? It’s what the people have been expecting from me, but we hadn’t gotten there yet. It’s a grown-up version of me.”

Written by Wetzel alongside Amy Allen, Carrie Karpinen and producer Gabe Simon, “High Road” has already become a fan-favorite on social media ahead of its release with lyrics that showcase that mature level of vulnerability that defines the still hard-rocking album:

Imma let you cool down while I walk out
You ain’t messing me up like the times before
I don’t need a ticket to your shit show
Knock yourself out and hit a new low
Imma take the high road, take the high road, take the high road

“High Road” joins lead single “Damn Near Normal,” title track “9 Lives (Black Cat)” and recent release “Sweet Dreams” in offering an early preview of the highly anticipated new album. Wetzel offered fans a further preview of the album’s multi-faceted narrative with a special trailer introducing nine unique Koe Wetzels as MusicRow’s “genre disruptor” praised by Billboard for “music that’s unvarnished and unfiltered” showcased his comedic acting skills. Watch HERE.

With an at-capacity Whiskey Jam performance already under his belt this week, Wetzel continues to share the new music with CMA Fest fans in Nashville, taking the stage at both SiriusXM’s Music Row Happy Hour and at Spotify House tomorrow, June 8.

The Texas-born live phenom also plans to take his new music global this year with his recently announced Damn Near Normal World Tour. Additionally, Wetzel will perform prominent sets at several festivals, including Country Jam, Rock the Country, Country Thunder Wisconsin, WE Fest, Watershed and more, plus a hometown stadium show as he joins Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour in Arlington, Texas this July.

Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down: The Texas singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. His 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no- holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hits “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), “Something to Talk About” and the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” plus the Gold-certified “Good Die Young” and “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has 2.6 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” In 2023 alone, he sold more than 275,000 tickets, and appeared for a third time on POLLSTAR’s Top Worldwide Tours. Wetzel will open for Morgan Wallen on the superstar’s One Night at a Time Stadium Tour this July and play prominent sets at festivals like Country Thunder and Watershed this summer, while also headlining his own Damn Near Normal World Tour. His new album, 9 Lives (Columbia), is set for release July 19.

About Jessie Murph
19-year-old powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Jessie Murph has been having an exciting 2024. Most recently she released her new single, “Cold,” to rave reviews and brought her sold-out global headline tour to North America after hitting major markets abroad and 40 cities across the U.S. & Canada. Earlier this year, Jessie, who was featured as MTV’s PUSH artist in January, showcased her soulful side with “Son of a Bitch.” The Billboard 21 Under 21 honoree’s latest single comes on the heels of her hit track, “Wild Ones,” with Jelly Roll, which has tallied over 200M streams worldwide since release in October, broke through top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart. Jessie and Jelly Roll teamed up to perform the critically and commercially acclaimed track on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” and are nominated for Best Music Collaboration at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.

2023 proved to be another standout year for Jessie who released her debut mixtape drowning in February to high praise. In May, she dropped “Cowboys and Angels,” which, along with her single “Texas (ft. Maren Morris),” ushered in a new era that etches raw emotion through her strikingly sincere songs laced with soul-gripping storytelling, hip hop-infused production and alternative experimentation anchored by her modest pop appeal. Named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Genius,Pandora and Amazon Music, Jessie also collaborated with Diplo and Polo G on “Heartbroken,” which hit the Top 40 at pop radio in the U.S. Between praise from various outlets including SPIN, Rolling StoneFlaunt MagazineNYLON and amassing over 1 billion streams globally, Jessie is just getting started.

Brantley Gilbert Announces "Over When We're Sober" ft. Ashley Cooke, Set for Release 6/21

As Brantley Gilbert readies a new album, the multi-Platinum country rocker announces his new single “Over When We’re Sober,” an enticing duet with Ashley Cooke, via The Valory Music Co. Fans can pre-save/pre-add “Over When We’re Sober” HERE ahead of its June 21 release via The Valory Music Co.

“I loved the song from the minute we wrote it,” shares Gilbert. “When it came time to find a collaborator, my producer Brock Berryhill suggested Ashley. I was so impressed with her writing and her voice. She’d just released a 24-track album – you don’t see many people doing that these days – and I thought that also speaks to her work ethic. It’s a special song, and I’m so thankful that she agreed to join me on it.”

“When Brantley called me about this song, I listened to the demo and it was an immediate 'yes,'” shares Cooke. “I’ve been a fan for truly so long - in fact, my Christmas present from a college boyfriend one year was a road trip to Atlanta just to see BG’s show. It’s such an honor to get to be on a song with someone I’ve admired for so long. Not to mention, one of the realest, funniest, most talented guys I’ve met on this journey so far. So thankful BG wanted me on this one!”

Over the last two years, Gilbert has been writing and recording for his seventh studio album. “Over When We’re Sober,” written by Gilbert with Jason DeFord (Jelly Roll), Brock Berryhill and Justin Wilson, is one of many exciting collaborations found on the forthcoming project. The Georgia native delivered the first preview with the revelry inducing anthem “Off The Rails” earlier this year. Listen HERE.

Celebrating 10 years of his 7x Platinum certified hit “Bottoms Up,” Gilbert will appear at the Big Machine Pop Up in Nashville tomorrow, Friday, June 7 at 12pm, with the 1935 Ford Sedan from the music video onsite at Bell Bottoms Up (120 Third Avenue South). Fans can enter for a chance to win the car, in addition to other prizes including an autographed guitar, autographed “Bottoms Up” framed poster, autographed boots worn on stage by Gilbert, an autographed Just As I Am CD and more. Click HERE for official rules and additional information on how to enter the sweepstakes.

With numerous sold out shows since embarking on the Off The Rails Tour, Gilbert and his crew will continue to deliver an unforgettable experience at each stop, packing as many songs as possible into the setlist and incorporating elevated production elements with pyrotechnics and CO2 cannons.

“We’ve had such an amazing time on the Off The Rails Tour,” shares Gilbert. “This is my favorite show that we’ve put together, thanks to a talented lineup both in the band and behind the scenes. It’s been incredible seeing BG Nation match that energy every single night, and it only makes us more excited to get to the next city.”

The Off The Rails Tour continues Saturday, June 8 at Rock the Country festival in Ocala, Florida. For additional information and to purchase tickets, visit BrantleyGilbert.com.

About Brantley Gilbert
With a grassroots following millions strong, multi-Platinum country rocker Brantley Gilbert’s upcoming single “Over When We’re Sober” featuring Ashley Cooke is set for release June 21. The Georgia native has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all his albums, with his music being adopted as the soundtrack to both Saturday night and Sunday morning by audiences around the world. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten father––just as he is. Following his sixth studio album So Help Me God, Gilbert readies a forthcoming project, giving BG Nation the first taste with “Off The Rails,” a revelry inducing anthem that embodies the kind of high energy live show he’ll bring to the Off The Rails Tour through the fall. Along with the new tracks, he’ll perform songs across his discography, which includes back-to-back Platinum albums and seven No. 1 hits: RIAA 7x Platinum-certified “Bottoms Up,” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide,” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen,” Platinum-certified collaboration with Lindsay Ell “What Happens In A Small Town,” and two chart-toppers as a songwriter with CMA Song of the Year nominee “Dirt Road Anthem” and “My Kinda Party.” For additional information, visit BrantleyGilbert.com  or follow him on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter @BrantleyGilbert and Facebook.com/BrantleyGilbertMusic.

About Ashley Cooke
With Big Loud / Back Blocks Music Country artist Ashley Cooke, it’s best to know what you’re getting into – because this emerging star is the definition of more than meets the eye. A graceful exterior matched by a casual-cool nature. Skillfully crafted lyrics and a knack for unforgettable performance. Effortless vocal beauty and a bold sense of internal grit, freely mixing it up with the boys while she rallies the girls. And most important, a passion for capturing the magic between heartbeats, each moment as unique as she is. Still early in her journey, being herself has already served Cooke well. It has led to over 270M global streams with chart climbing hits like “Never Til Now” with Brett Young, Ryman and Grand Ole Opry debuts, national TV appearances on ABC’s The Bachelorette and NBC’s TODAY, tours with Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, Cole Swindell, Brett Young and more.

Hailing from Parkland, Fla. and moved by emotional hit makers like Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Ed Sheeran and more, Cooke embraces the energy of pop and depth of Country, writing her first song by age 11. Cooke moved to Nashville at 18 and attended the prestigious Belmont University – but unlike so many others, she did not study music. After entering the schools revered Country Showcase on a whim and winning, Cooke decided to pursue music for a year. When the pandemic had other plans, Cooke went to TikTok where she built a thriving fanbase, writing and sharing Country music on her own terms.

And now, the next chapter begins with her debut album shot in the dark. Unfolding as if they were ripped from pages of her personal journal, Cooke’s sun-kissed blend of two-lane pop Country is on full display in the collection’s 24 tracks, inspired by true tales of love, heartbreak and all the moments in between. Fully capturing the essence of a daring twenty-something growing up, chasing her dreams and taking risks, Cooke infuses heartfelt lyrics, captivating melodies and raw relatability as she invites listeners to come along for the ride. The striking debut has already garnered Cooke praise from Billboard who named her the July 2023 Rookie of the Month, with additional praise pouring in from People, American Songwriter, The Tennessean and more. Cooke went on to win her first CMT Award for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year at the 2024 CMT Awards before being nominated for ACM New Female Artist of the Year, adding to previous recognition as one of MusicRow’s 2023 Discovery Artist of the Year and Next Big Thing as well as iHeartCountry’s On The Verge artist. Meanwhile, her award-winning single “your place” continues to take her career to new heights as she spins in the Top 5 at Country radio stations nationwide.

WARNING IN EFFECT: Kenny Chesney's Blazing Into Blossom

Having an affinity for the intimacy of amphitheaters since becoming what the Minneapolis Star-Tribune called “country’s king of stadium concerts,” Kenny Chesney made sure a handful of outdoor venues were included in the routing for his personal record-breaking Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour, including three sold-out nights at Boston’s Gillette Stadium and this weekend’s sold-out-for-weeks Philadelphia stop at Lincoln Financial Field. But no one was ready for Blossom Music Center actually leaving voicemails and sending emails to people holding tickets to the sold-out show advising massive traffic issues expected.

“I remember when people cut the chain link fence to get into our shows a couple summers,” Chesney marveled. “But we’ve never been the reason for an actual warning sent out. This year has been a whole other kind of crazy – selling standing room tickets in Tampa, pushing our stage all the way to the end zone wall in Pittsburgh – but knowing Blossom has this kind of energy around it? It tells you a lot about the passion and the heart of the Midwest.

“Hearing all the people on the lawn singing ‘Anything But Mine’ back at us whenever we play Blossom is one of the highlights of that tour. I know each and every one of them knows what it’s like to be going home to Cleveland, leaving a summer love behind… and you can hear it.”

For Chesney, who has broken his own records with his high-impact, high-velocity concerts in Tampa, Charlotte and Pittsburgh already, the more stripped-down amphitheater shows take the intensity of his connection with No Shoes Nation and channels it into the songs that have defined coming of age in the flyover for the last two decades. With the focus on music that captures the best of how people between coasts live, these amphitheater dates become sonic scrapbooks for people coming into their own, moving on or falling in love forever, for the summer or for the night.

Joined by six-time nominee and Academy of Country Music New Female Artist of the Year Megan Moroney, this year’s ten amphitheater shows speak to making the best of every moment and the soul of being alive. With massive sing-along energy, Chesney and his support artist speak to the heart of what summer is made of – and embrace being so close to the crowd.

The man the Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” begins, “When we’re in the sheds, it’s like going back to our roots. We were all starting on this journey, seeing where life and the music would take us. Now all these songs are filled with the memories we made, the faces and places we’ve traveled – and sharing them like this is like coming home.”

Deemed “King of the Road” by the Wall Street Journal for his legendary stadium tours, the Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour has created a summer of unmatched ‘wow’ with several cities sold out months ahead. As importantly, the music and No Shoes Nation’s connection grows stronger and more passionate, especially in the legendary amphitheaters. With Blossom’s actual advisory to get there early, and Philadelphia sold out months in advance, there’s no slowing down – only more songs to sing and smiles to create.

Presented by Blue Chair Bay® Rum, it’s all about the friends, high energy and songs people know by heart.
