WORMHOLE Hosting Bandcamp Listening Party

WORMHOLE are rising up from the underground. When they're not blasting aliens in Metroid, the band have been fine-tuning their signature combo of brutal slam and technical death metal both in and outside of Baltimore. With 'Almost Human', they're proving that there is no ceiling they can't tech-slam through.

"Straight up, Almost Human is a contender for Album of the Year for me", says Michael Centrone of
New Noise.

"Wormhole delivered a record that holds the power to redefine how brutal tech death and slam-oriented artists write future materials", writes
Angry Metal Guy.

'Almost Human' zips the whole tech-slam experience into a tightly clenched polygon fist. The rhythm section of drummer Matt Tillett and bassist Basil Chiasson rip through multiple time shifts, while brothers Sanil and Sanjay Kumar shoot off eerie, pixelated pangs of dissonance.  Julian Kersey's vocals are so rotten that you can practically smell the stench wafting through the speakers.

That's still a lot to digest. Join Wormhole on Bandcamp tomorrow night and chat with the band about all the glitchy riffs, belching death growls and black hole-sized breakdowns on 'Almost Human'.

RSVP to the Bandcamp listening party.
Date: Thursday, September 28.
Time: 9:30 pm EST.

When you invent your own genre, you can make the rules, and in space, no one can correct your math. If Wormhole’s excellent The Weakest Among Us was 50% tech death and 50% slamming brutal death metal, their Season of Mist debut is a veritable leveling up of the Baltimore-based act’s trademark “tech slam.” It’s the kind of record that can scramble your brain and give your neck a nice chiropractic workout; Almost Human feels like the future of extreme metal, dropped down from either outer space or delivered by Nintendo cartridge (more on that later).

So, what the hell exactly is “tech slam?” Well, the gleefully amorphous and unholy term comes from an ethos that guitarists Sanil “Noni” Kumar and Sanjay Kumar discovered and perfected over (probably) thousands of hours of Metroid and Doom games, as well as, you know, actual musical mastery. Almost Human, out September 22, 2023, is more powerful, more agile, and more confounding for pie-chart-enthusiasts than anything else that came before it. The sequel is always bigger, darker, and in this case, covered in much more pixelated space horror viscera. My Wormholio calculator puts their sound at 91% tech and 89% slam, with an increase in awesome stats somewhere in the 420% range. There’s also a clear emphasis on amplifying their dissonant death influence, the kind of eerie melodies that feel like being stomped on by Samus.

There’s a clear balance to everything on Almost Human: the songs are more adventurous while also being instantly memorable. No two songs sound alike, and that diversity in songcraft (level design?) sees Wormhole pushing and pulling along their tech and slam dials to figure out what’s best for the song; spoiler, it’s always riffs. What also becomes evident after repeated listens is how carefully the Kumar brothers understand a sense of place, humor, and a consistent vibe. This is still the same band that’s known for throwing on Saturday morning cartoons, and Almost Human continues to hammer home that Wormhole the musical entity is deadly serious, but the guys that make tech slam are not stoic creatures. There’s a warmth and sense of joy when chatting with them that only gets brighter when you ask their favorite Metroid game (that’s a question for a live show). So, what is this vibe they are chasing? Sanjay shares:

“The tech slam imagery is based on Metroid lore, Doom lore, and we haven't written a song about it yet, but Alien as well. Those three things are brutal sci-fi universes, so we're trying to embody that sound. The slam riffs, you can connect the brutal killing of stuff with the brutal chunky riffs; that's been a match that's existed since the nineties. So that's the slam part, and then the tech part was harder to fit that vibe, so we kind of do it differently. I lean into very dissonance-vibe stuff, like Artificial Brain and Dysrhythmia. I think disso-death and heavy, they aren't usually paired together, even though they should be.”

“And then as far as chasing the vibe,” Noni adds, “I kind of go about it two ways. With the Metroid soundtrack or universe, that vibe, there's some dark and gloomy atmosphere, but there's a lot of pretty imagery as well. We wanted to find a way to match that very pretty, kind of out-there sound cohesively in songs with a very aggressive and guttural approach.”

Like another famous sci-fi horror masterpiece of a different media, Wormhole’s shifting, amorphous style is perfectly suited to blend in and amaze just about any fan of heavy music. That’s The Thing: they can pull off whatever they want, but it’s always boiled down to that tech slam vibe. Do you like tech, melody, breakdowns, atmosphere, or dissonance? Tech slam can fill whatever void you seek.

If previous albums were early generation, lower-resolution visions of tech slam, Almost Human is the 4K reboot, where you can see every pixel of terror and awe. Wormhole are absolutely ready for their closeup. Prepare your worms and your holes, tech slam is here to stay.

About Morgan Wallen:
Hailed by
Billboard for making “his superstar arrival as a touring artist” in 2022, CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Morgan Wallen continues to reign as one of Country’s top tours, as his massive One Night At A Time World Tour remains in the top five on Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart. Spanning 25 stadium-plays across 5 countries and 3 continents, plus arenas, amphitheaters and festivals, Wallen’s 57-show 2023 One Night At A Time World Tour delivers the man the New York Times dubbed “one of the biggest stars in pop, period" to fans worldwide. Wallen continues to shatter records, becoming the largest weekend ever for Ohio Stadium (surpassing attendance records previously held by George Strait and Taylor Swift) and the only act to play twice in one tour. $3 from every U.S. ticket sold will benefit the Morgan Wallen Foundation.

With over 24.5 billion on-demand streams and nine chart-toppers at Country radio, the East Tennessean’s latest, “Last Night,” became his fastest-climbing No. 1 to-date (with just 11 weeks) and the fastest-charting No. 1 since 2015, remaining atop the all-genre Billboard 100 chart for 16 weeks; the longest running No. 1 solo song in Hot 100 history. Wallen’s recently released third studio album, One Thing At A Time, reigned atop the all-genre Billboard 200 chart for 12 consecutive weeks, the most at the top for a Country album in over 30 years; and currently remains in the top 10 alongside his 6x platinum sophomore album, Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic Records);
Billboard’s longest running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist (with 137 total weeks spent in the top 10, eclipsing Adele’s 21 and Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA).

About Bailey Zimmerman:
Bailey Zimmerman has surged to the forefront of 21st century country music with the release of Religiously. The Album., which arrived as not only the biggest all-genre streaming debut since 2021, but also the biggest streaming country debut of all time. Deriving its name from his rapidly rising current country radio single, “Religiously,” the LP entered at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 7 on their all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The “comfortably bruising and appealingly bruised” (The New York Times) project also features his multi-Platinum, No. 1 debut single, “Fall In Love,” as well as his most recent multi-Platinum hit, “Rock And A Hard Place,” which spent a whopping six consecutive weeks at the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart. Both tracks were also included on his record-shattering debut EP, Leave The Light On, and their success propelled the breakout superstar to close out 2022 as the year’s only country artist to receive two Platinum certifications from the RIAA and prompted Billboard to name him as their No. 2 Top New Country Artist and No. 4 Top New Artist overall. The 2023 ACM Awards New Male Artist of the Year nominee and CMT Music Awards multi-nominee has ignited television audiences across the country with show-stopping performances on Good Morning America, TODAY, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards, and incited critical applause from Forbes, Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, Billboard, American Songwriter and many more. With nearly 3 billion streams to date, he is out on the road now with Morgan Wallen as part of his monumental 2023 One Night At A Time Tour.

About Jelly Roll:
Nashville native singer/songwriter Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord) recently debuted Top 3 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart and #2 on the Top Country Album charts with his debut Country Album, Whitsitt Chapel (released June 2nd, 2023 ) – earning the biggest Country debut album in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Following his sweep at the 2023 CMT (Country Music Television) Music Awards where he earned 3 awards to become the most awarded artist of the night, the Billboard Country Power List Cover star and “country’s ‘most authentic’ new artist” (The New Yorker) recently received Billboard’s 2023 Breakthrough Award. "One of Nashville’s fastest rising stars” (The New York Times), Jelly is currently an 8X nominee at the People’s Choice Country Awards and the most nominated male at the 2023 CMA Awards, with 5 total nominations. His current hit single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt— set the stage for his new season of life and took him to new heights, has more than 155 million views on YouTube and Platinum certification from the RIAA. Jelly debuted the song along with Lainey Wilson at the 2023 ACM Awards on the heels of his 28-week reign at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. “Save Me” is the follow-up single to his multi-week #1 hits on Country and Rock radio, “Need A Favor” and “Son of A Sinner.” Currently headlining his sold-out 44 city 2023 Backroad Baptism Arena Tour, Jelly Roll continues to resonate with fans on a global scale and earn numerous industry milestones- from playing his sold-out hometown show for 18,000 fans at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to sold-out dates at the Ryman Auditorium and the release of his critically-acclaimed Hulu documentary produced by ABC News, “Save Me.”

About Jon Pardi:
Since first hitting the country landscape, ACM and CMA award-winning artist Jon Pardi has separated himself from the pack, carving a lane that was all his own by producing, writing, and singing songs he created from the melodies up, and earning praise for it. Pardi recently launched his headlining Mr. Saturday Night World Tour and earned his sixth career #1 hit on Country radio, “Your Heart Or Mine,” off of his ACM Album of the Year nominated project, Mr. Saturday Night.Featured by NPR, Paste, Billboard, The Tennessean and more, Pardi’s album Mr. Saturday Night proved Pardi has “blazed his own trail over the past decade” (Billboard), and his “refusal to chase sets Mr. Saturday Night apart” (Taste of Country), proving "he might be the most successful at combining the old-school sound with today’s need for hooks” (Nash News). The album earned Pardi back-to-back Album of the Year nominations and reunited the producing team of Bart Butler, Ryan Gore and Pardi- the same team behind the boards of his critically-acclaimed album, Heartache Medication-Pardi’s CMA and ACM Album of the Year nominated project. Heartache Medication debuted among the top albums on Billboard’s Country Albums chart and was named in 2019 Rolling Stone’s “Best Album of the Year” and by the Los Angeles Times as one of the (Top 10) “Best Albums of the Year.” Heartache Medication followed his breakthrough Platinum-selling album, California Sunrise, which featured the multi-platinum, chart-topping hits “Dirt On My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache On The Dance Floor” and “Night Shift.”

About Lainey Wilson:
As the leading female nominee and winner at the 2023 ACM awards with Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of The Year, Visual Media and Musical Event of the Year, and reigning CMA 2022 Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year, Lainey Wilson has earned the enthusiasm of the industry. Critically-acclaimed and touted as a top “artist to watch,” to being crowned the most nominated artist at both the 2023 CMA Awards (with a record breaking nine nominations) and CMT Music Awards, the Louisiana native has made a name for herself in the industry as one of music’s hottest and most buzzed-about new artists. About Nate Smith:
Featuring a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith’s personal journey inspired him to be a beacon of country-music hope, an inspirational mission he puts front-and-center. Since making it to Nashville, the singer’s “powerhouse tenor” has become “perhaps country music’s fastest-rising beloved voice” (The Tennessean). He’s made a huge splash with songs such as his Platinum-certified multi-week No. 1 hit “Whiskey On You,” which was lauded as the “breakup song of the summer” by Country Now and “an enormously satisfying country kiss-off anthem” by Stereogum. “Whiskey On You” amassed over 7.5 million total global on-demand streams in its first week, reaching No. 10 on the Country On-Demand Streaming Chart. The smash hit has racked up over 370 million total global on-demand streams to date. Nate released his debut, self-titled album along with the deluxe version on April 28. The hefty 26-song project hit #6 on Billboard’s Country album charts and #30 on the Billboard Top 200. His latest single off the album, “World On Fire,” is impacting country radio now. The CMT Music Awards and ACM Awards nominee is currently on tour with Thomas Rhett and will hit the road with Cole Swindell this fall.

About Bryan Martin:
Hailing from the oil fields of Louisiana, Bryan Martin lives the stories he writes and country fans are listening.  His real-life emotions are inseparable from his songs, as is clearly shown in his breakout hit "We Ride.”  Emerging in Nashville, he's garnered over 378 million cumulative streams and 750K social media followers.  He's opened for artists like Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Warren Zeiders, and more. Martin made his debut at Nashville's iconic Grand Ole Opry on August 29. Bryan's albums, If It Was Easy and Self Inflicted Scars, stem from his burdensome struggles he's dealt with since his youth.  His recently released project, Poets & Old Souls, which includes the everyman anthem "We Ride," reflects his growth and deep connection with listeners.

About Lauren Watkins:
Drenched in authenticity and rife with barstool charm with an addictive, Tennessee limestone gravel in her voice, Nashville-born and bred songbird Lauren Watkins writes, breathes, and lives country music. The 24-year-old original grew up on the outskirts of Guitar Town, mesmerized by a jukebox rotation of country music, from outlaws like Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow to chart-toppers Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, and Chris Stapleton. Moving back after four years at Ole Miss, Watkins’ unyielding, turn on a dime lyricism quickly caught the attention of GRAMMY-nominated multi-hyphenate Nicolle Galyon, who signed her to publishing and recording contracts with Songs & Daughters / Big Loud Records almost instantly. Honing in on a sound that’s both reverent of the genre’s roots and in lockstep with where it's headed next, she’s introducing her take on country music now with seven-song set
Introducing: Lauren Watkins, released in April, with more new music set for release later this year. Watkins spent the summer touring notable fairs and festivals throughout North America alongside opening gigs with Jameson Rodgers, Morgan Wallen, Lily Rose, and more. This fall, she opens nationwide tours for Conner Smith and Austin Snell.

About Ella Langley:
Ella Langley’s music kicks like a smooth Alabama whiskey. Her dyed-in-the-wool country storytelling and anthemic hooks go down easy, while moments of attitude-laden rock ‘n’ roll might just knock you on the floor. Hailing from Hope Hull, Alabama, she tirelessly gigged in bars and at local festivals before relocating to Nashville in 2019. Her songs “If You Have To” (2021), “Damn You” (2022), and “Country Boy’s Dream Girl” (2022) have continuously fueled her momentum with tens of millions of streams on each track. Simultaneously, she landed high-profile cuts behind-the-scenes. She co-wrote Elle King’s 2022 single “Out Yonder” in addition to four more tracks on Come Get Your Wife. As a formidable performer, she toured with the likes of Jon Pardi, Koe Wetzel, Randy Houser, Cody Johnson, and Jamey Johnson in addition to sharing the stage with Lainey Wilson and Parker McCollum. Meanwhile, she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, and Spotify pegged her as a “Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2023.” She formally introduced her signature style on her 2023 debut EP, Excuse The Mess [Columbia Records/Sony Music Nashville], which features current rising single “
That’s Why We Fight” [feat. Koe Wetzel].

Darius Rucker Brings Forthcoming Album 'Carolyn's Boy' to Analog 10/4 Ahead of Album's 10/6 Release Aol

Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Darius Rucker is set to take the stage at Analog at the Hutton Hotel for an unforgettable evening of music on Wednesday, Oct. 4, just days ahead of the highly anticipated release of his forthcoming studio album Carolyn’s Boy, his first solo project in six years. The songwriter-style event will be recorded as part of the “Recorded Live at Analog” series supported by Heaven’s Door and debuting on PBS in early 2024. Limited tickets are available for $20 starting tomorrow, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. CT HERE.

Praised by Oxford American as “a master at choreographing his audience’s mood, bringing the energy up, then making things quiet, then up again…[Rucker] is a genuinely inspired performer in this way, unafraid to bring not only muscle and sweat but also well-timed vulnerability, a crack in the mask.” That masterful performance will be on full display as Rucker and a stripped-back band perform both his chart-topping hits and brand-new music for the intimate room.

“Recorded Live at Analog” is produced by iMaggination, Inc. and also features the recently-recorded “Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska: Celebrating A Rough Masterpiece” – which included performances by Emmylou Harris, Noah Kahan, Lyle Lovett, The Lumineers, Lucinda Williams and surprise guest Eric Church – with additional shows in the series to be announced soon.

“I’m so excited to finally share this album with our fans after working on it for so long,” reflects Rucker. “It’s a really joyful album that celebrates the most joyful woman; the woman who was always in my corner and is the reason I am where I am today. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than this special show right here in Nashville.”

Named for his late mother as an “homage to the greatest woman I’ve ever known,” Carolyn’s Boy features Rucker as a cowriter on 11 of its 14 tracks, with recent release “Southern Comfort” joining current single “
Fires Don’t Start Themselves” as well as No. 1 hit “Beers And Sunshine,” recent release “Have A Good Time,” his take on Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” from Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and Chapel Hart collaboration “Ol’ Church Hymn” in previewing the forthcoming project.

In addition, Rucker has been sharing full-band performances of the new music with fans across the country all summer on his
Starting Fires Tour – which wraps its stateside run on Oct. 14 at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater – and is now gearing up to take his wide-ranging catalog of hits across the pond with a recently announced run of European dates in early 2024. Tickets to all shows are on sale now via DariusRucker.com

He will also celebrate the album’s release during the second year of his personally curated Riverfront Revival Music Festival set for Oct. 7-8 in his hometown of Charleston, S.C. In addition to Rucker himself, fans will be treated to performances by Turnpike Troubadours, Lainey Wilson, Band of Horses and more. Limited tickets remain at
RiverfrontRevival.com.

LATIN-COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST FRANK RAY RELEASES HIS FIRST SPANISH EP TITLED RAÍCES (ASÍ SE HACE)

One of country music's most promising emerging artists, Frank Ray, pays tribute to his Mexican roots with the release of his latest EP titled Raíces (Asi Se Hace). The EP is now available on all digital platforms. Download “Raices (Asi Se Hace) HERE.

“Music is the best representation of who I am. The arrangements reflect the essence of Latin music, with constant changes, vibrant horns and rhythmic percussive elements. But it also encompasses everything I'm known for, whether it's traditional country music, family tunes, party anthems, R&B rhythms, pop, soul or Latin flavor - there's something for everyone”, commented Frank Ray.

Today, the Mexican-American recording artist's most recent EP titled Raíces (Así Se Hace) was unveiled, and is dedicated to his Hispanic roots just in time to kick off the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States. The EP contains five songs entirely in Spanish such as "Luces de la Calle" (Streetlights) and "Country Te Va Muy Bien" (Country’d Look Good On You) which have been re-recorded and adapted to the Latino market with the fusion of the genre that characterizes him alongside the romantic and seductive rhythms of the production, particularly highlighted on "Quiebrame el Corazón'' (Spring Break), a track which accompanies the release of the EP.

"Releasing a country music EP in Spanish is very noteworthy because the Latin culture can be represented in a way that has not been done in the mainstream music genre for decades. I have the opportunity to bring the Latin flavor to country music fans, but also to bring country music to a whole new audience," said Frank Ray about the significance of this EP.

On Friday, October 6th, Frank will be performing live in Miami at the Vivo Dolphin Mall stage as part of the preparations for Country Bay Music Festival. The event is completely free and will kick off at 7:00 PM EST.

Currently, Frank Ray is working on new music in both English and Spanish which is expected to be available soon.

About Frank Ray:

Texas chart-topper, bilingual recording artist and former police officer - Frank Ray is busting open the doors for a modern Latino Country movement. Growing up just three miles from the border in New Mexico, Frank, born Francisco Gomez, was immersed in the best of both worlds - enriched by his Mexican culture and surrounded by Texas Country music. Praised as “easygoing contemporary Country with Pop-Soul hooks and a dash of Southwestern spice” (Rolling Stone), Frank’s “catalog is representative of his fun personality and flair” (Country Now), expertly blending ‘90s Texas Country, Latin, R&B and Pop. As an entertainer, Frank delivers electrifying, high-energy performances that has something for everyone. With immense cross-cultural appeal and a panorama of influences, Ray “is looking to stretch Country music’s cultural boundaries” (Los Angeles Times).

In the three short years since embarking on his musical journey full-time, he has racked up two No. 1 singles and three Top 10 singles on Texas Country Radio, become a staff songwriter, landed Frank Rogers (Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker) as his producer, signed a record deal with BBR Music Group/Stoney Creek Records and much more. Along with being named an “Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone and Amazon Music USA as well as a “Listen Up Artist” by CMT, Ray has appeared on USA Network’s Real Country, been profiled in the Los Angeles Times and on NBC's TODAY.

Recently on tour with Old Dominion and now performing at major music festivals across the U.S, this former police officer visits first responders through his mental-health initiative FRAY (First Responders Mental Clarity), at each tour stop providing first responders with the tools, resources and training to promote their mental wellbeing, as well as that of their families and communities. Having shared stages with Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Kip Moore, LANCO, Hunter Hayes and more, the versatile entertainer was just named to CRS New Faces’ Class of 2023. Featured on his self-titled, label-debut album, the cheeky “Somebody Else’s Whiskey” is currently climbing the Country radio charts. The album, Frank Ray, is available across streaming platforms. Ray will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the release of Raíces (Así Se Hace), a five-track project entirely in Spanish, on September 22.

3TEETH’s First New Album In 4 Years “EndEx” Out Now Via Century Media Records;

The wait is over for EndEx. 3TEETH’s brand-new album – their first in four years – is now out via Century Media Records and is being hailed as a “champion[ing] industrial metal” (Blabbermouth), “an album of the year contender for the genre” (Razor’s Edge), and the “band's weirdest, most expansive offering yet” (Revolver).

To celebrate the album’s release, 3TEETH is also sharing the final single and video from the album, culminating in a cover of Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants To Rule the World.” The reworked take continues 3TEETH’s penchant for aggressive reworks of pop songs, previously seen on Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks,” Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz” and Dead or Alive’s “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record).”

See the video for “Everybody Wants To Rule the World” below.

Says frontman Alexis Mincolla of the track, “Listening to it, I felt the weight of the world and the wild-eyed frenzy of the human condition – the never-ending chase, the insatiable hunger. And in that moment, cruising down the highway, surrounded by the vastness of the desert, I realized: We're all just careening towards our own versions of world domination, fueled by dreams and delusions.”

EndEx showcases the modern industrial act at their most raucous yet, unveiling bold revelations of humanity’s technosocial disintegration behind a brutal soundtrack that sounds all the alarms. It’s the band’s first album since 2019’s Metawar, which Consequence recently named as one of the Top 50 Industrial Albums of All Time, hailing 3TEETH as “one of the modern bands keeping industrial alive.”

EndEx features the handiwork of a solid extended team including the accomplished sound designer Mick Gordon (best known for his work on the gaming phenomenon DOOM) who produced several of the tracks along with producer Nick Rowe and mixer Sean Beavan (NIN), bringing in another dimension to the band’s unmistakable sound.

Early singles have included noisemaker “Paralyze” (featuring Ho99o9); the gripping sonic salvo, “Merchant of the Void,” that touches on the bleak landscape of modern society amid A.I. takeovers and economic collapse; “Slum Planet,” taking aim at the ills of a sick planet obsessed with over-consumption at all costs; Scorpion,” a track in which the band’s instrumental arsenal is tempered by alluring female vocal chants that provide an ambient feel; the stripped-back single “Drift,” paired with a video showing the band at work in the studio; and the rousing “Higher Than Death” paired with an animated video.

EndEx is available in CD, Gatefold LP, and digital album formats. Special formats include:

  • Red LP (available at all EU outlets)

  • Red Smoke LP (available at all US outlets)

  • Ultra-Clear / Red Splatter LP (available from 3TEETH)

  • Black-White Marbled LP (available from Revolver)

3TEETH has also announced a show to close out 2023 at L.A.’s Teragram Ballroom on December 29. Tickets are on sale now at www.3teeth.org.

ABOUT 3TEETH

3TEETH first manifested their cybersocial intentions as early as 2013: a musical entity born out of Mincolla’s Downtown L.A. weekly gatherings known as “Lil’ Death” With Xavier Swafford (keys, synth), Chase Brawner (guitars) and Andrew Means (bass, synth) joining Mincolla. 3TEETH released their first self-titled album the following year. Alliances with the likes of TOOL and Rammstein resulted in the collective’s first live performances and a rise to further notoriety with the release of 2017’s album shutdown.exe. which took 3TEETH to global stages. Working alongside producer and mixer Sean Beavan (NIN) at new label home, Century Media, 3TEETH upped their own sonic arms race with Metawar (2019) and entered a new echelon of cultural consciousness with a collection of tracks including the biting “President X” and their haunting take on Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks.”

"The modern carriers of the industrial rock torch" — Revolver

"State-of-the-art sensory overload with take-no-prisoners level of aggression" — Rolling Stone

“3TEETH bring the aggression with aplomb” — Loudwire

“3TEETH are one of the modern bands keeping industrial alive”

— Consequence

Preeminent black metallers Mayhem ready their newest live strike with Daemonic Rites for Century Media. The 16-track effort captures the frightful efficiency and utter lethality of the Norwegians as they close the chapter on their exalted sixth album, Daemon (2019). Throughout Daemonic Rites, Mayhem impressively nail newer tracks like “Falsified and Hated,” “Malum,” “Bad Blood,” and “Voces Ab Alta” to the proverbial cross, while offering pure fucking mastery of classics like “Freezing Moon,” “Buried by Time and Dust,” “Deathcrush,” and “Carnage.” The devilish quintet also add mid-career haunts like “To Daimonion,” “Symbols of Bloodswords,” and “My Death,” making Daemonic Rites a genuine career-spanning offering.

“We wanted to document how great the band and set sounds like after almost 40 years of playing live,” says founding member Necrobutcher. “As a treat to our fans, we decided to release this live recording.”

“We released the live version of De Mysteriis [aka De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Alive] a few years ago,” Ghul adds. “That was received very well. We have been playing together for so long now with this lineup that we feel we have reached a point where we are a seriously well-oiled machine. It seemed like a natural step to try to capture this moment in the band’s history, with the same setlist we have been using for a while.”

Mayhem have nearly 1,000 shows to their name. Since their formation Langhus, Norway in 1984, the band—now comprised of Necrobutcher (bass), Hellhammer (drums), Attila Csihar (vocals), Teloch (guitars), and Ghul (guitars)—have brought their brand of bellicose, preternatural black metal to over 60 countries. From the United States and Germany to Australia and Brazil, Mayhem have stunned, bewildered, and turned rabid a global legion, dedicated as much to the band’s infamous legacy as they are staunchly in support of Daemon. Much of that respect and devotion started in the early ‘90s, but persisted to the present day on the strength of official live albums Live in Leipzig (1993), Mediolanum Capta Est (1999), Live in Marseille 2000 (2001) and De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Alive (2016). Mayhem continue their on-stage assault with Daemonic Rites.

“I knew from day one back in 1984 that this band was going to be outstanding—one of the best bands ever!” Necrobutcher says. “I guess that’s a big reason why we still are here after 39 years—and counting.”

“Well, for the first time in a long time, we felt again like a unit, musically,” continues Hellhammer. “That’s something we haven’t felt in a long time, and that shows in the live recording.”

Daemonic Rites wasn’t pre-planned. Rather, they had sound engineer/producer Tore Stjerna (of Necromorbus Studio fame) record everything—just for posterity, in fact—during the group’s Northern Ritual MMXXII and Thalassic Ritual tours of 2022 and early 2023. Mayhem and Stjerna pilfered the gems, resulting in gigs from London (“Life Eternal,” “Malum”), Manchester (“My Death,” “Silvester Anfang”), and Gothenburg (“Pure Fucking Armageddon,” “To Daimonion”) coming out on top. The penultimate Mayhem live album wouldn’t be complete without “Freezing Moon” and “Pagan Fears”—both from Csihar’s hometown of Budapest, Hungary—as well as newer tracks “Falsified and Hated” and “Bad Blood” from Sydney and Melbourne, respectively. Daemonic Rites showcases the two-time Norwegian Grammy (aka Spellemannprisen) winners at the pinnacle of their live potential.

“We play the songs that feel the best live,” Hellhammer says. “We have in the past tried out a lot of different songs from former eras, but when you play live for an audience, the songs must have IT. If they don’t, even if they are good songs, they won’t fit in a live setting.”

Adds Teloch: “We have a vast catalog by now with so many different types of songs. It’s interesting to make them all work together in a full concert.”

Daemonic Rites comes off the heels of Mayhem’s incredible Beyond the Gates 2022 performance, where they uncaged cult classic De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas not far from where it was originally recorded by Eirik ‘Pytten’ Hundvin (Enslaved, Emperor, Immortal) in Grieghallen during 1992/1993. The live album, however, was mixed and mastered over in neighboring Sweden. Stjerna, who also assisted with Daemon, took the phantasmagoric collection of tracks to his lair at Necromorbus Studio, where his sole job was to preserve Mayhem’s raw, unbridled energy and ghastly electricity. From “Falsified and Hated” and “My Death” to “Buried by Time and Dust” and “Carnage,” they’ve never had the quality of a live album quite like Daemonic Rites. If the past is always alive, this is a live album on par with Venom’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Emperor’s Emperial Live Ceremony, and Gorgoroth’s Black Mass Krakow 2004.

“It fits with where we are now, or more precisely, where we were at the time of the recording,” says Hellhammer.

“[The live recordings] capture the spirit and energy,” furthers Ghul, “of where we are as a band right now.”

Indeed, Mayhem have been and continue to operate at a level not yet witnessed. While atavists will always relish the Deathcrush or Live in Leipzig lineups, Hellhammer’s drum performance against the twin terrors of Teloch and Ghul is the purest black magic on Daemonic Rites. Similarly, Csihar’s hair-raising caterwauling and spectral snarls atop Necrobutcher’s seventh-hell low end is witching-hour great! To support Daemonic Rites, Mayhem have videos for Daemon-era masterpiece “Malum” and late-‘80s Killjoy dedication “Chainsaw Gutsfuck” lined up. Daemonic Rites is the perfect guillotine while the group craft new songs and conspire with others on what the group’s 40th Anniversary next year might entail. Mayhem are likely in their final form, and they’ve never been deadlier.

Dalton Dover Releases 'Never Giving Up On That' Collection

Named a Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, Dalton Dover releases his eight-song collection Never Giving Up On That via Mercury Records/UMG Nashville, featuring two new songs including “Dirt Roads and Jesus” and an alluring cover of “If I Ain’t Got You.” Listen to Never Giving Up On That HERE.

“This has been such an exciting time in my life, and it means so much to be able to share it with all of you,” shares Dover. “So many milestones and memories have been made with these songs and what better way to celebrate that than putting them all together and adding some new ones. We can’t wait to bring more new music to you soon.”

Along with “If I Ain’t Got You,” a staple and fan-favorite in his live set, “Dirt Roads and Jesus,” written by Dover with his producer Matt McVaney and Alex Maxwell, is a striking ballad, expressing where he feels closest to God. As he debuted the song during his first performance at the Grand Ole Opry, he explained he’d faced some tough times throughout his life, but his faith has always brought him out the other side to better days.

Today’s release follows barn-burner “Night To Go,” praised by
MusicRow as Dover “has already proved himself to be a masterful country balladeer, a story-song teller, a heartache prince and a heart-tugging sentimentalist…He can also spit out a country rocker with the best of ‘em: this kicks hillbilly butt,” asserting the song is “more proof that stardom should knock on his door.”

Dover’s first official single “Giving Up On That” debuted as the most-added song at Country radio and continues to climb the charts. The official music video, filmed near Dover’s hometown in Rome, Georgia, will premiere next Wednesday, Sept. 27 on CMT, CMT Music,
CMT.com and Paramount’s Times Square Billboard.

He made his international debut earlier this year at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series before joining Chase Rice on the Way Down Yonder Tour. This summer, Dover performed across four stages at CMA Fest, including the Nissan Stadium Platform Stage, and played Luke Combs’ Whiskey Jam Bootleggers Tailgate Party at Gillette Stadium in July. He has been on the road with select dates supporting Tyler Hubbard, Parker McCollum, Justin Moore and Priscilla Block among festival performances. For more information and tickets, visit

Dover is currently on the road with select dates supporting Tyler Hubbard, Parker McCollum and Priscilla Block among festival performances. By the age of 16, Dover had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R veteran and founder of Droptine, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover. His debut track “You Got a Small Town,” produced by McV, quickly garnered critical acclaim from Billboard, MusicRow, Country Now and Wide Open Country. With his debut and his follow-up “Baby I Am” earning notable playlisting, Dover was named a Spotify Hot Country 2022 Artist to Watch along with a spotlight as Billboard’s February Country Rookie of the Month and a nod for MusicRow’s 2022 Discovery Artist of the Year. Theory of A Deadman Share New Holiday Track "Missing You This Christmas" — LISTEN

NEW STUDIO ALBUM DINOSAUR OUT NOW

Today, multi-platinum rock band Theory Of A Deadman has shared their brand-new holiday track "Missing You This Christmas."

Listen
Below.

Elaborating on the track, frontman Tyler Connolly shared, "We've never done an original holiday track and for some reason the timing seemed right. Maybe it was all the years of hearing Mariah Carey in Target that sparked the idea."

"Missing You This Christmas" marks the first new music from Theory Of A Deadman since the arrival of their new studio album, Dinosaur, which was released earlier this year via Roadrunner Records. Dinosaur, Theory's eighth full-length, features their Top 10 Active Rock Radio hit "Dinosaur" and marks an overall return to form stylistically for the chart-topping Canadian quartet.

Dinosaur, the follow-up to 2020's acclaimed album Say Nothing, was produced by Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, YUNGBLUD) and recorded in Sweden at Atlantis Studios, made famous by ABBA. The 10-track collection features the hard-hitting title track "Dinosaur," and recent single "Two Of Us (Stuck)," which showcases Theory's signature wit. Elsewhere on the new album is the recklessly raucous and righteously catchy party song "Ambulance," the gritty "Medusa (Stone)," and the aggressive "Get In Line."

Theory Of A Deadman —  the aforementioned Connolly [lead vocals, guitar], Dave Brenner [guitar, backing vocals], Dean Back [bass], and Joey Dandeneau [drums, backing vocals] — will be on tour in the UK through the end of September and will return back to the states for a co-headline run with Skillet deemed the "Rock Resurrection Tour" which will kick off October 20 in Baton Rouge, LA. See below for all upcoming tour dates and visit www.theoryofficial.com for more info and to purchase tickets.

With sky-high hooks, riffs as thick as a 2x4, rumbling grooves, and a razor-sharp sense of humor, Theory Of A Deadman have quietly persisted as an unapologetic, unbreakable, and undeniable hard rock force with major multi-platinum hits and countless sold out shows in each of the past two decades. Jamming together in basements throughout high school, the band burst out of their small hometown of North Delta, British Columbia with the self-titled, Theory of a Deadman, during 2002. In addition to the double-platinum breakthrough album Scars & Souvenirs [2008] and gold-certified The Truth Is…[2011], Theory have notched a procession of hits, including the gold-certified "All Or Nothing," "Bitch Came Back," and "Lowlife," platinum-certified "Angel," "Hate My Life," and "Not Meant To Be," double-platinum "Bad Girlfriend," and triple-platinum "RX (Medicate)." As the biggest smash of their career thus far, the latter hit, off their 2017 album Wake Up Call, marked their third #1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and garnered a nomination for "Rock Song of the Year" at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The award-winning band’s last studio album Say Nothing, featuring the chart-topping and powerful single "History of Violence," landed at #2 on the BillboardAlternative Albums Chart and #3 on the Rock Albums Chart. Theory Of A Deadman’s impressive catalogue has also logged two Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and amassed more than 1 billion collective streams on Spotify alone and over 700 million views on their official YouTube.

Silent Planet Share "Anunnaki" Video — WATCH

NEW ALBUM SUPERBLOOM OUT NOVEMBER 3 VIA SOLID STATE RECORDS

TOURING WITH DAYSEEKER

California metal band SILENT PLANET will release their new album SUPERBLOOM. It arrives November 3 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it
here. The release date is significant for the band, as it arrives on the anniversary of their horrific van accident. But it is also a testament to their resilience!

Today, the band shares the video for new single "
Anunnaki." Watch it below

Singer Garrett Russell cryptically says, "Something stirs in the forest. Under the smoldering shadow of Mt. Shasta, extending to the forgotten reaches of the Lost Coast. Our footsteps dredged up the last rites of an annihilated people; their suffering-turned curse coalesced into a blighted, blasphemous body. Listen closely. Behind the serene forest song hangs a dissonant note. A blood-thirsting shriek swings in the air, wrapping the fallen boughs of sequoias… resounding through the valley. Descendants of an ancient race — beings crossed between humans and beings from another dimensions - they remain and and hold the memory of the native martyrs. Their presence demands vengeance. They are the forgotten giants. They are the Anunnaki."

Silent Planet have consistently transfixed a diehard fanbase. The group dropped a string of acclaimed albums, including The Night God Slept [2014], Everything Was Sound [2016], When The End Began [2018], and Iridescent[2021]. Album standout "Trilogy" generated 5.3 million Spotify streams to sit alongside their genre-bending triumph "Panic Room" from the 2016 release, currently at 5 million. The guys notably took home "Best Underground Band" at the 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards and toured with the likes of Motionless In White, August Burns Red, Beartooth, and The Contortionist.

Over the course of two years, they recorded what would become SUPERBLOOMin Woodland Hills, CA alongside longtime producer and frequent collaborator Daniel Braunstein. A jarring turn of events split the process into two seasons. Trekking through a Wyoming snowstorm in November 2022, Silent Planet survived a vehicle accident. The van flipped over, leaving the group laying in the wreckage of a bitter Wyoming snowstorm as Garrett was hospitalized with a fractured back and head wound requiring stitches.

"The majority of us were awake when we felt the van start to slide," he says. "We had some time to come to grips with the fact we were about to go down and have a close brush with death. Afterwards, we talked about what to do with the band. We went back into the record with an increased willingness to take risks. It bolstered our confidence to try new things. When the accident happened, it did something to my head, and it fed into the album."

Along the way, they settled on a conceptual framework, expanding the scope of their vision like never before. "I grew up in Northern California," he continues. "There's a strip of the state known as Humboldt County, but it's called the 'Lost Cove.' It's a hotbed for strange and paranormal events like UFO and Big Foot sightings. There's so much we haven't uncovered. It's possible our reality as we know it is not complete. We started telling the tale of a 17-year-old who went missing. It's based on a true story with many details changed. Art dictates reality, and reality dictates art. Making this record was a very strange and mystical process. It's the most magical and inspired moment of our career so far.

WINGER's 1988-1993 ALBUMS COMPILED IN NEW BOX SET, ALONG WITH A BONUS DISC OF DEMOS

One of the most-aired hard rock bands on MTV during the late '80s and early '90s was Winger, a band who had it all – expert chops, chart success, arena tours, etc. And now for the first time ever, the band's best-selling albums will be compiled together in the new box set, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 – which will be released on November 17, 2023 via Atlantic/BMG, and will be available as both vinyl and CD versions.

Included will be the band's self-titled debut from 1988 (which spawned the hits "Madalaine," "Seventeen," and "Headed or a Heartbreak"), In the Heart of the Young from 1990 (which gave us "I Can't Get Enuff," "Miles Away," and "Easy Come Easy Go"), and Pull from 1993 (which contained "Down Incognito").

And long-time fans of the band – whose classic line-up was comprised of singer/bassist Kip Winger, guitarists Reb Beach and Paul Taylor, and drummer Rod Morgenstein – will probably be most intrigued by the inclusion of the fourth disc, Demo Anthology, which includes original demo versions of Winger's biggest hits. Additionally, the set will be newly remastered by Ted Jensen – with the remaster process overseen by Kip Winger.

“I’m very proud of this box set.  It captures an unforgettable era for the band and these are the only remasters I officially endorse.” – Kip Winger

Still rocking to this day – the band issued their seventh studio effort overall in 2023, the appropriately titled Seven. Kip Winger is also a respected and successful symphonic composer, having issued recordings under the name C.F. Kip Winger, while Reb Beach has been a member of Whitesnake since 2002, and Rod Morgenstein has served as a professor at Berklee College of Music (in addition to playing in a variety of other more jazz-fusion-based projects).

To obtain all of Winger's definitive LP's in one fell swoop, Chapter One: Atlantic Years 1988-1993 covers all the bases – and then some!

Of Mice & Men Share "Indigo" Visualizer — WATCH + LISTEN

NEW ALBUM TETHER OUT OCTOBER 6 VIA SHARPTONE

BAND TOURING WITH BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE THIS FALL

Gold-selling hard rockers Of Mice & Men — Aaron Pauley (bass + vocals ), Valentino Arteaga (drums), Alan Ashby (guitar), and Phil Manansala(guitar) — will issue their new album Tether on October 6 via SharpTone. Pre-order it
here.

They've just shared the third single "
Indigo." Listen to and watch the visualizer below.

"'Indigo' is about questioning why the sky would choose to be blue if it had the choice to be anything else — blue also meaning sad," states Pauley. "It's about comforting a loved one in a time of loss by telling them you feel blue, too."

Taking all creative matters into their own hands, the Southern California quartet self-produced and engineered all of the songs on Tether, their astonishing eighth album. Pauley mixed and mastered the album while Arteaga designed and painted the album's artwork. As a legion of devoted listeners worldwide has come to expect, guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby, Aaron, and Tino poured their hearts and souls into every note, creating another sonic document of their lives.

“With this one, we weren’t really focused on how it sounded as much as we focused on how it felt," Pauley explains. "And that's a weird thing to do when all you're working with is sound. But that was really the goal. And we walked away from making it, feeling like we've accomplished that."

OM&M take sobering looks at depression, anxiety, loneliness, and existential dread, powering through the darkness, and emphasizing the importance of creativity as a balm for mental health. A commanding tempest of sounds coalesces within Of Mice & Men, blending the uplifting eloquence of modern active rock with the atmospheric dissonance of experimental post-rock. The band first emerged as part of a vanguard of future aggressive rock hitmakers. Over the years, they've distinguished themselves with musicality, creative ambition, and resilient determination.

Album eight is no less ambitious. Tether is anchored by a reflective meditation on what it means to draw together as friends, family men, artists, and bandmates. What does it mean to be there for the people who depend on us, knowing we can’t fully protect them from the hardships of life?

Tether is the next step in OM&M's evolution, combining their core sound with experimental and ethereal sound designs. The creative process focused on the excitement of discovery rather than preconceived "goals." Pursuing the moments when the elusive "x factor" reveals itself in the songs. Those moments are palpable in songs like "Integration," "Warpaint," "Enraptured," and "Indigo."

The Of Mice & Men core since 2016 – Aaron, Alan, Tino, and Phil – maintain a powerful bond with their audience and each other, no matter the obstacles. Whether a powerful anthem or atmospheric confession, their songs translate in intimate clubs and massive festivals. "It's about creating moments for people," Pauley says. "Music is the soundtrack to people's lives."

OM&M will also hit the road with Bullet For My Valentine and Vended this fall. All dates are below.

"[Simonetti's] electronic score proved to be the perfect counterpoint to the rock songs, often oozing with menace and certainly adding to the fear factor... And, as usual with Simonetti, it makes for a great listen outside the film." - Horror Cult Films

"Simonetti acting as a solo composer here rather than as part of Goblin replicates this in his pulsating electronic score... It’s got a sense of stalking malevolence about it right up there with the film itself and is horror music personified." - Ave Noctum

"...a fascinating snapshot of a composer in transition, moving from a band setting to a solo career, expanding his range and creating some of the most stirring music of his career. We treasure Demons for withstanding the test of time, but the real gem here is Simonetti." - Popshifter

"Argento’s eye for filmmaking was still razor-sharp in those days; combined with the like-father-like-son style of Bava and a nightmarish synth score from Goblin’s Claudio Simonetti the film had all the necessary elements to satisfy horror fans. And truly, it’s a blast from start to finish with little time wasted." - Dread Central

"This soundtrack perfectly captures the growing tension created by the film as the main characters are transformed into demons, leading the way with the electro metal of Killing, the percussively cruel Demon, and the now classic cult hit Demon. 30 years later the music still shines with timeless quality thanks to the eclectic talent of composer Claudio Simonetti." - Rustblade

“We’ve been having a blast playing this song out on the road,” shares Gilbert. “It raised its hand early on as a crowd favorite, so we wanted to give BG Nation this song in its purest form, hearing the guitars and vocals stripped-back, just like it sounded the day it was written with my buddies Brock Berryhill, Brian Davis, Brandon Day, Chase McGill, Josh and Taylor Phillips and Michael Ray.”

Released earlier this year, So Help Me God (Deluxe Edition) features 15 tracks all cowritten by Gilbert. Still considering himself a songwriter first and foremost, the project showcases his vast medley of influences alongside a wide cast of collaborators, with the Georgia native sharing, “We’ve always been a little outside of the box when it comes to writing and recording. We always try to serve the song as it takes shape rather than shaping the song to serve us. If it’s asking for a harder edge, let’s do that. If it feels a little more introspective, let’s lean into that. This album intersects across a lot of different genres, and we’re proud to say that it’s something that happened naturally.”

Kicked off earlier this summer, Gilbert is currently on the Get Rollin’ Tour with Nickelback, bringing their explosive talents together for 50+ shows through October, with
Cleveland.com praising their two “worlds seamlessly melded…with the audience equally familiar with and embracing both Nickelback and the raucous sounds of Music City opener Brantley Gilbert,” who “succeeded in turning Blossom Music Center on this night into the Dirty South.” Tickets are available at BrantleyGilbert.com.

About Brantley Gilbert
With back-to-back Platinum albums and a grassroots following millions strong, Brantley Gilbert’s music has been shared, covered and adopted as the soundtrack to Saturday night and Sunday morning by audiences around the world. The Georgia native who started as the defiant life-of-the-party can still go ‘til sunrise, but he’s also emerged as something far greater: the leader of a massive tribe of hard-working, fun-loving believers for whom electric guitar-shredding, rapping, and twang can go hand-in-hand-in-hand. They call themselves the BG Nation, and when the BG Nation watches Gilbert on a stage, they don’t just see a star. They see themselves. Seven No. 1 hits punctuate his career: RIAA 7x Platinum-certified “Bottoms Up,” 2x Platinum “Country Must Be Country Wide,” 2x Platinum “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” 2x Platinum “One Hell of An Amen,” Platinum-certified collaboration with Lindsay Ell “What Happens In A Small Town,” and two chart-toppers as a songwriter with CMA Song of the Year nominee “Dirt Road Anthem” and “My Kinda Party.” Gilbert’s landmark record Just As I Am clinched the 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Country Album. Earning praise from the New York Times, NPR, American Songwriter, and more, Gilbert has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all of his albums. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten new father––just as he is. So Help Me God (Deluxe Edition) is available now via The Valory Music Co., featuring 15 tracks all cowritten by Gilbert and collaborations with Blake Shelton and Vince Gill, Jason Aldean, HARDY and Toby Keith and Jelly Roll. Gilbert is currently on the road with Nickelback on the Get Rollin’ Tour with 50+ dates across North America. For additional information, visit

Ian Munsick’s “Long Live Cowgirls” Impacts Country Radio 10/23

Deemed one of the genre’s “top-tier waltzes in recent memory” by The Tennessean, Wyoming native Ian Munsick is bringing his sky-high voice and Rocky Mountain influence to country radio with the solo version of his RIAA-Gold certified track “Long Live Cowgirls,” available on DSPs now and impacting country radio on Monday, Oct. 23.

Written by Munsick alongside Aby Gutierrez and Phil O’Donnell, “Long Live Cowgirls” was originally released as a duet alongside Cody Johnson in 2022, painting a vivid and authentic picture of cowgirls that resonated with fans to the tune of over 110 million on-demand streams, the song’s popularity driving it to become a No. 1 hit on SiriusXM The Highway.

Releasing it to country radio this fall, Munsick delivers the song for the first time as fans have heard it on the road, solo with plenty of fiddle and falsetto.

Reflecting on the journey it took to get here, Munsick shares, "Ten years ago, I set off on a mission to bring the west to the rest. Songs about cowboys, cowgirls, horses, cattle and the rugged ranch lifestyle were few and far between when I was kid listening to the radio back in Wyoming. Slowly but surely, the country music format has started to accept the western brand and I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of that change.

"'Long Live Cowgirls' is more than just a song. It’s an anthemic celebration of the generations of women that conquered the vigorous landscape of the west with passion and grace. The emotion I see and feel from the audience when we play this song live is a constant reminder of why I make music. It has a deeper impact than just three minutes of escapism… the message is one of longevity and prosperity. If that’s not the heart of country music, I don’t know what is."

Munsick released his full-length sophomore album White Buffalo earlier this year, earning accolades from Billboard, American Songwriter, People, MusicRow and more.
Grammy.com remarked, “Munsick's ability to turn his Western upbringing into relatable sentiments is the epitome of what makes him special… his passion for his homeland — from the culture to the people — rings through in both the lyrics and the musicality.”

Munsick performed his new single at Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest and on all shows supporting Morgan Wallen on his One Night At A Time World Tour. His headlining The Buffalo Roams Tour is currently underway, featuring a rotating lineup of special guests including Randall King, Triston Marez, Catie Offerman, Jake Worthington and Chancey Williams. About Ian Munsick:
A native son of Wyoming, Ian Munsick is painting a stampeding, spirited portrait of the American West with his sophomore album White Buffalo, out now. The 18-track album spans unfiltered tales of romance and ranch life, hard-working anthems with honkytonk hooks and mountain-time odes to family and forever-young fun. It builds upon the spacious roots-pop beauty he introduced on his major label debut, Coyote Cry. Over the past three years, the 30-year-old has accumulated more than half a billion global streams and a host of accolades. He has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, Fender, MusicRow and more. A seasoned entertainer, having grown up tending cattle by day and playing music in a family band each night, Munsick toured recently alongside country music superstars Morgan Wallen and Cody Johnson. Beyond his noteworthy professional accomplishments, he has also become both a husband and a father. Now the Warner Music Nashville recording artist and multi-instrumentalist is representing his home, and its special cast of people, like never before. The first release from White Buffalo, standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls” (with Cody Johnson), hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway Hot 30 Countdown, was named one of Amazon Music’s Best Country Songs of 2022 and recently received RIAA Gold-certification alongside “Long Haul” off his debut album Coyote Cry. Fans of Ian Munsick will always find an open heart, natural awe and plainspoken honesty as he rides on… bringing the West to the rest.

OG Thrashers Angry Corpses Release New Single "Always Right Guy" feat. Dirty Walt from Fishbone + Official Music Video via Upstate Records

OG thrashers ANGRY CORPSES released their new single "Always Right Guy"featuring Dirty Walt from Fishbone along with the official music video today via Upstate Records. The single is from their forthcoming EP Resurrected. The band will be heading out on The Resurrected Tour in support of the single beginning September 27th in Albany Ny at Fuzebox.

Donny Polinske states, “This song was a lot of fun to create. Tim had the idea for this song for a while and when we got Dirty Walt on board to do guest vocals and Larry to add the extra layer of guitars, this song was sent into the next realm. It has great thrash crossover feel that I think the fans will really get into when they hear it.”

Angry Corpses was originally formed in 1985 by bassist Kenny Ballone. Tim McMurtrie joined in 1986 and the two solidified a bond that would help push Angry Corpses as an established legacy band that predates the crossover thrash revolution in the early to mid-1980’s that spawned legendary acts such as Cro-Mags, Leeway and DRI. Kenny and Tim would soon put Angry Corpses on the back burner as they focused their attention on MOD and the crossover scene with MOD classic releases “USA for MOD” and “Rhythm of Fear” in 1987 and 1992, respectively, on the legendary Megaforce Records.

Fast-forward to 2016, Ken Ballone and Tim McMurtrie found themselves back together again and in position to reignite the classic MOD sound with a fresh perspective and new attitude. Adding Primer 55 vocalist, Donny Polinske, MOD ClassicTK was born. MOD ClassicTK went on to release “The Thrash King” single in 2019 and the H8 EP in 2021 through Force 5 Records, featuring tracks by legendary scene drummers, Felix Griffin of D.R.I and James DeMaria of Heathen.

After setting the foundation for this new project, Tim and Ken decided to return to their roots and resurrect their original band name, Angry Corpses under the advice of long time friend, Jon Zazula of Megaforce Records. Sticking to the classic crossover thrash formula, Tim McMurtrie recruited Walter “Monsta” Ryan (Powerhouse) as well as Murphy's Law and Kings Never Die guitarist, Larry “The Hunter” Nieroda (Murphy’s Law) to write and record five new tracks for their upcoming EP, Resurrected on New York’s Upstate Records. Resurrected includes guest vocals by hardcore superstar Danny Diablo (Skarhead/Crown of Thornz), Dirty Walt (Fishbone) and legendary NYC rapper Cappadonna (Wu-Tang Clan).
