IAN BLURTON'S FUTURE NOW Release "Siren Of The Song," Announce Album Imperial Filth

IAN BLURTON'S FUTURE NOW return with "Siren Of The Song," the first single to land from the forthcoming full length venture, Imperial Filth. Delivering guitar-led rock with lashings of overdrive, "Siren Of The Song" brings a wall of rhythms, charismatic melodies and a warm analogue sound. Imperial Filth is schedule for release via Pajama Party on October 23, 2026.

Ian Blurton comments on the new single:
"'Siren Of The Song' is a riff fest that connects the unlikely dots between Cheap Trick, Slayer, Voivod and ZZ Top and includes 3 guitar solos in 3 minutes. It seemed like a good first single as it encompasses influences from 4 of our favourite bands."

"1/2 of Imperial Filth was recorded with no click, 80% of it was live off the floor using real British tube amps and no drum samples or AI".
Explains Burton. "We tried to go for a live feel as much as possible, left in a human touch and then overdubbed upon the bed tracks. This record has a bit more of a proggy feel than our last LP as we wanted to explore arrangements that lived outside the world of verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus.

We loved working with Daryl Smith and he really helped let us focus on the playing while he took care the sounds."

Produced by Daryl Smith and Ian Blurton at Blurton's very own ProGold Studios, Toronto. Imperial Filth was mixed by Daryl Smith at Chemical West and Mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. Special guests appearing on Imperial Filth include guitarist Liam Deak of TUMBLE and Lee Rose of ACE OF WANDS performing strings. Cover art for Imperial Filth is by Lydia Sam Planetta and the layout design is by Louis Durand.

GRAVE DIGGER Set to Release New Album Faces Of Pain in January 2027

German heavy metal legends GRAVE DIGGER return with a brand-new studio album: Faces of Pain will be released on January 15, 2027 via Reaper Entertainment. The striking cover artwork was created by Uwe Jarling.

For more than four decades, GRAVE DIGGER have been one of the defining forces of German heavy metal. From classics such as Heavy Metal Breakdown and Tunes of Warto the immortal anthem “Rebellion (The Clans Are Marching)”, the band around frontman Chris Boltendahl have played a major role in shaping the sound of German heavy metal.

Following the straightforward old-school approach of their 45th-anniversary album Bone Collector, GRAVE DIGGER are now ready for the next chapter. Faces of Pain consistently continues down this path, presenting the band as energetic, uncompromising and diverse as ever.

Chris Boltendahl comments:

“The time has finally come: With our new album 'Faces of Pain', we are opening the next furious chapter. This record is filled with an incredible amount of heart, sweat and pure passion. How can the result best be described?

What lies behind us was an extraordinary creative effort. In particular, my collaboration with Tobias Kersting on guitar has grown incredibly strong and developed into a deeply rooted creative partnership. His riffs, my lyrics and our shared vision unleashed an incredible dynamic. The result is a mature yet highly explosive late-career work that uncompromisingly combines all the classic trademarks our fans have loved for decades.

Faces of Pain shows us at our most diverse in a long time. Grave Digger consistently follow their very own style – a style we have shaped ourselves over the years. The remarkable thing is that we never copy ourselves for a single second, yet every song and every note unmistakably carries the band’s typical, mighty sound. Get ready for a true metal monster!”

Razor-sharp riffs, massive choruses and Chris Boltendahl’s unmistakably rough vocals form the foundation of the album. Fast-paced heavy metal bangers such as “Faces of Pain” and “Satan’s Tango” meet riff-driven mid-tempo anthems including “The Number”, “Legends Never Die” and “When The World Is Calling You”. With “Dead Sun” and “Say Hello To The Devil”, the band also reveals a particularly heavy and dark side.

More than 45 years after their formation, GRAVE DIGGER are clearly nowhere near ready to call it a day. Faces of Pain is an album full of energy and classic heavy metal – firmly rooted in the band’s history, yet with its sights set firmly on the future.

The album was produced by Chris Boltendahl at Graveyard Studios in Senden, Germany. The cover artwork was created by Uwe Jarling.

Starting in January 2027, GRAVE DIGGER will also bring the new material to the stage. On the “Legends Never Die Tour”, fans can experience the unbroken live power of this German heavy metal institution.

Thy Catafalque Announce New Album 'XIII: Sárga erdő"

Today, Thy Catafalque, the two-time Fonogram winning project of Tamás Kátai, is announcing its thirteenth album, XIII: Sárga erdő.

On XIII: Sárga erdő (Yellow Forest), Kátai wanders through an old, half-remembered time from a quietly expansive direction. Thy Catafalque’s new album features more than 30 collaborators, including a 20-person choir and, for the first time in the project’s history, a live drummer. However, the folk and classical elements that flooded 2024’s XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek are handled here with a lighter touch. Just as a forest doesn't explain its colors, the album turns inside you, until you look up to discover that you’re  somewhere new.

Watch the music video for lead single “Búcsú a piros madártól” below:

XIII: Sárga erdő comes out November 20, 2026 on Season of Mist.

Written and produced by Kátai, lead single "Búcsú a piros madártól" (A Farewell to the Red Bird) opens XIII: Sárga erdő on a note of departure and resignation. A voice calls after something already gone, its sound swallowed by fog and distance. Live drums sit under layered vocals, kamancheh and lead guitar, giving the song a heavier, more physical pull than its title suggests.

Kátai shot the music video for "Búcsú a piros madártól" himself in the woods a 10-minute walk from his family home in Makó, Hungary. Sitting beside the river Maros, these woods are the same stretch of ground where Thy Catafalque’s very first video was filmed 25 years ago (and where another is already in the works).

In the video, live footage from Thy Catafalque's shows in Brazil, France and Hungary is cut together with hand-made and digital animation, left rough by design. "I wanted to keep it that way," Kátai says, "because it has a more personal touch."

Sárga erdő, out this autumn via Season of Mist, was recorded across various locations and at Miracle Sound Szeged with Gábor Vári again handling engineering, mixing and mastering. It marks another first for the project: real drums, played rather than programmed, for the first time in Thy Catafalque's history. Thirty-four musicians and vocalists appear across the record, along with a twenty-voice male choir, but the folk and classical textures that flooded XII—sitar, kamancheh, zither, strings—are handled with a lighter touch here, chosen with more precision for the moments that call for them. There's no unifying story across the twelve tracks, only that same felt sense of wandering through old, half-remembered time. A forest doesn't explain its colours—it just keeps turning them, until you look up and you're standing somewhere new.

VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY Unveil New Music Video for "Reqiuem"

Greek psychedelic rock visionaries VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY have unveiled a brand-new music video for "Requiem," another striking cut from their forthcoming studio album, Venceremos, out this Friday via Napalm Records.

With the release of Venceremos just days away, the album is drawing remarkable acclaim from the international music press. It has claimed several leading soundcheck positions and "Album of the Month" honors across Europe, while VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY currently grace the cover of METAL HAMMER Greece with an extensive feature on their new chapter.

Germany's METAL HAMMER declares that "with their heaviest album to date, the band have also delivered their finest work yet," while ECLIPSED MAGAZINE concludes that there is simply "no way around VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY anymore.' LEGACY calls Venceremos "outstanding," while METAL.DE describes it as "a modern-day rock opus. Hungary's UNDERWORLD hails the record as "a post-rock masterpiece," while ROCK HARD praises an album carried by melodies "the likes of which haven't been heard in psychedelic rock for ages." Also DEAF FOREVER MAGAZINE sees a "truly strong album poised to further cement the status of this extraordinary and unique band," and Norway's SCREAM MAGAZINE perhaps puts it most simply: "Their best album of their career so far!"

With "Requiem," VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY now reveal another compelling facet of Venceremos. Reflective and uncompromising, the song turns its attention to endings and the final reckoning, when everything else falls away and all that remains is the truth of how a life was lived.

VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY on the new single:
"'Requiem' is a reflection on endings, where the journey fades, and only truth remains. It's about facing yourself at the final moment, weighing a life lived. You lived your life or fell their fraud? Will you go with massive guilt or calm in serenity?"

Watch the official music video for "Requiem" BELOW.

Set in a dystopian future shaped by illusion, control, and fear, Venceremos unfolds as a journey through exile, resistance and awakening. It follows those who rise against a broken world, rejecting gods and modern kings in order to reclaim freedom and meaning. Through struggles, hopes, fears, and deep reflections on existence, one truth remains constant: The quest is one, and its name is freedom.

Rather than bending to trends, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY sharpen their identity. The upcoming album presents itself as heavy, direct, and intense, driven by a raw and immediate energy. It leans decisively into heavy rock and metal, pushing into more aggressive territory while unfolding with a genuinely progressive spirit, where each composition evolves with purpose and depth.

Ritualistic rhythms, expansive arrangements, and traditional instrumentation such as bagpipes and zourna are not mere embellishments, but essential elements of the band's sonic language. Folk and Hellenic elements meet powerful riffs and dynamic structures in a sound that feels direct, distinctive and entirely their own.

Produced and recorded by Alex Karametis at Magnanimous X Studio in Greece, and mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, Venceremos captures clarity and depth in equal measure. With this release, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY deliver a powerful statement and a journey through darkness, defiance and the unbreakable force of rebellion. As one of the key names in post-stoner and heavy prog rock, the band once again reinforces their place within the scene, with Venceremos standing as a defining step in their ongoing evolution.

Pre-order Venceremos HERE.

In support of Venceremos, VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY will play an album release show in Athens taking place on September 20 at the Lycabettus Theatre, one of the city's most legendary open-air venues, before the band embarks on a series of shows across Greece's major cities and an extensive European Tour in March 2027 with dates to be announced soon.

Summer Hoop Announces New EP "Self Disrespect" + Soundtracks Pop, Screams & Self-Sabotage on New Single "Tore Up"

Dark-pop breakout, Summer Hoop, steps into a messier, more self-aware era with the announcement of her upcoming EP, "Self Disrespect", out November 6 via Oxide Music. Accompanying today's announcement is the brand new track "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)", which channels a spiral of heartbreak, bad decisions, and emotional overcompensation into a loud, volatile freefall. Fans can listen to "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)" Below.

Exploring the impossible balancing act of wanting to be loved without having to change parts of yourself that feel too loud, complicated, or difficult to contain, her upcoming EP, "Self Disrespect" follows the moments where self-sabotage finally kicks in. As the relationship unravels, Summer Hoop turns its aftermath into "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)", an electric, neon-lit release where heartbreak and euphoria collide.

With the "Self Disrespect" era officially underway, Summer Hoop shares:

"I have never felt more confident in myself artistically and this EP is a really transparent form of self reflection that I’ve spent years running from in my personal life. I feel simultaneously so fragile and so incredibly tough most of the time and I feel like this EP really shows both sides of the same coin sonically and lyrically. Time to disrespect yourself (:"

Giving voice to the feelings behind "Tore Up (ft. Asha Locke of GILT)", Summer Hoop continues:

"I have an unfortunate list of reckless habits and destructive tendencies that I have tried to suppress in the pursuit of being what somebody else needs in a relationship. “Tore Up” is the inevitable ending every time, blacked out at the function, yelling over loud music, asking somebody to accept me and just let me be myself. It’s a bad cycle. They always leave, but the club lights are pretty, and I’m going to turn up with tears in my eyes."

Sitting at the intersection of glossy pop hooks and grittier, heavier undercurrents, Summer Hooppositions herself as a distinct new voice for fans of Poppy, Maggie Lindemann, and PVRIS. With a growing catalog and a bold artistic identity rooted in the contrast of beauty and chaos, Summer Hoop is quickly carving out a space of her own in the alternative landscape.

Following the release of her Oxide Music debut, "Mindlessly", Summer Hoop recently wrapped a run of Florida dates supporting Icon For Hire and will be hitting the road supporting Nate Vickers across five US dates.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Summer Hoop news coming soon.

ABOUT SUMMER HOOP

Based out of Tampa, FL, Summer Hoop has always had music at the center of her world. From being involved with theatre throughout her childhood to forming her own bands as she reached her teenage years, music has always been a focus point. “I didn’t ever see anything else for my life. My dad started bringing me to concerts when I was a literal child at 4 years old. His deep love for rock and alternative music got me into music. I’m on a mission to make fresh stuff that feels nostalgic of the things that I’ve loved in the past.” Summer Hoop says about her introduction into music.

Hoop is a powerhouse artist that takes immense pride in her songwriting, wrapping her art in a layer of protection.“Becoming a solo artist felt like the natural next step, because it gives me the creative control to fully shape my sound and vision while still bringing the energy of a full live band.” Hoop says about flourishing as a solo artist. “I’ve been performing with the same group of musicians for years, so I get that dynamic, collaborative feel on stage, but at the same time I can stay true to my own taste and represent myself exactly how I want to.”

Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance and PVRIS just to name a few. Hoop uses her songs as a way to express difficult topics. “I’ve never been great at saying the hard things out loud. Whether that’s in friendships, relationships, or even with family.” Hoop continues. “Writing music is the only space where I can be brutally honest without censoring myself. It’s how I process everything I go through, because if I don’t write it down, it just sits in me.”

Now, with the announcement of her upcoming EP, "Self Disrespect", Summer Hoop continues to push deeper into emotionally charged territory. The track explores obsessive devotion, sacrifice, and self-destruction, building on the intensity of her previous releases while marking her debut release via Oxide Music.

Hoop has hit incredible milestones throughout her career, being featured on Bilmuri’s track, “THE VOID APPROACHETH” along with Lost In Separation's "Higher" and sharing the stage with notable acts such as Pierce The Veil, Adam Lambert and Twenty One Pilots. “My songs are like a no-filter version of my thoughts — sometimes dark, lots of times funny, but always real.” Hoop says reflecting on her discography, “Human connection, friendship, and love are painful and confusing a lot of the time, but they’re also the best things we get to experience in this life. My music is about holding both truths at once — the chaos and the beauty.”

GÅTE Announced as Winners of John Lennon Songwriting Competition

Gåte are one of the most accomplished group of artists to come out of Norway. The band have topped the Norwegian charts, won a Norwegian Grammy and represented Norway in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest with their groundbreaking mix of Nordic folk and modern rock. Now, as fans around the world anticipate the upcoming release of their sixth studio album and first for Season of Mist, they are proud to celebrate another career milestone.

Today, Gåte are announcing that their recent single “Sannsiger” has won the grand prize in the World category during Session I of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Released in April 2026 upon signing with Season of Mist, “Sannsiger” sets the stage for the ancient legends and folk narratives that the band explore on Sigil by weaving Hardanger fiddle and nyckeharpa into their contemporary sound. The song features guest vocals from Maria Franz of Season of Mist labelmates Heilung.

“We are deeply honored to be selected as winners of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest”, Gåte says. “This award means a lot to us, especially since ‘Sannsiger’ marks a new direction for our band. The song is driven by the nyceklharpa and a simple guitar loop that our guitarist Magnus Børmark recorded on his phone. From that recording grew a song about the truth-tellers throughout our shared history and how society in every age seems to feel the need to silence them”.

“‘Sannsiger’ hit me from the very first moment that I heard it”, Heilung vocalist Maria Franz said upon the song’s release. “Its raw energy immediately resonated with me. I’ve been a fan of Gåte for many years, so accepting the invitation was a no-brainer. The band were wonderful to work with, and I’m very excited to hear the rest of their upcoming album”.

Winners of The John Lennon Songwriting Contest receive prizes from Taylor Guitars, Genelec and other companies. One 2026 Grand Prize winner will go on to win Song of the Year and $20,000.

Symphonic Black Metal Act VESSELES Present "Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)", Announce Album 'Home (Reclaimed)'

Symphonic black metal project VESSELES has unveiled "Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)." The single released alongside a visualizer lands ahead of the forthcoming full length, Home (Reclaimed), scheduled to arrive on March 26, 2027.

On "Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)," Valira shares:
"The ritual track of the album, this offering delves into the birthing ritual in the Beneath with very grand verses enacting the mantras and a Latin section to truly make this the origin ceremony. With the newly reclaimed version, the verses have become elegantly harmonized, deepening the connection to Home."

VESSELES is an artistic outlet allowing Valira the space to express and explore who they are. Home (Reclaimed) confronts the discomfort and complexity of what 'home' is to someone who is not from this world. Now recorded with their own vocals, Home (Reclaimed) captures fully Valira's origins and purpose. In addition to the vocal performance, the album is filled with piano driven leads, grandiose symphonic compositions, dissonant passages and pained progressions encapsulating their experience.

Home (Reclaimed) was produced, mixed and mastered by Nick Loiacono at Fang Studios, San Mateo, CA. The album performance was by Valira Nyvran (vocals, guitars, composition, orchestrations, lyrics), Ron Graves (bass) and Nikolas Brön (drums). Special guests include Antonio Giardina (session piano) and The Vicken Studios Orchestra (choir chants on “Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)”). Album cover artwork is by Mark Erskine.

About VESSELES:

Founded in 2023, VESSELES is the sonic vessel through which Valira speaks the language of their origins. As composer, orchestrator, and architect, they craft bleak, incantatory soundscapes that fuse serrated guitars with haunted symphonic textures. Their voice, at once seething and spectral, now rises with increasing clarity, layered across both backing and lead roles in studio and on stage. This is not performance. It is possession. Through sound, they cast off the human shell and step fully into their true form: demon, exile, survivor.

VESSELES unveiled the debut EP I Am A Demon in 2024, a liturgy of identity dysphoria, rage, and revelation. The debut full length offering Home emerged from the shadows at the turn of 2026, a devastating and majestic sophomore release that delves deep into identity, belonging, and the mythos of a demon cast into the human world.

Devised as a personal vessel for Valira, a demon entity discovering their truth through music, VESSELES fuses symphonic black metal with cinematic grandeur and emotional weight. This project is not just about sound; it's about survival, transformation, and reclaiming power in a world that was never built for them.

ABOUT GHØSTKID:
"Retrospectively, it was a very hard time, mentally. But I’m happy to speak openly about it. It was a time with feelings in between completely burning out and 'everything is incredible.'"

Looking back at the last six years, GHØSTKID has faced immense pressure, both personally and professionally. After a liberating start with his self-titled Century Media debut in 2020, there has never been a moment of silence in Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler's mind. The following years took his solo project on tours with Bad Omens, Black Veil Brides, and Blind Channel, headline tours and performances at festivals like Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze, yet his mind kept playing tricks on him. Success came with doubts and pressure fueled by financial struggles, leadership responsibilities, mental health, and deep self-reflections through turbulent years. "I've learned a lot, made just as many mistakes, and truly underestimated what it means to stand on your own feet," says Sushi who reached a turning point in mid-2026.

After parting ways with his bandmates, he found new people to share his vision of a modern mix between metalcore, nu-metal, alternative rock, and now embarks on a new album cycle. Referring to Lewis Carroll's children’s novel Alice in Wonderland and the computer game "American McGee’s Alice", FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT is a journey through Sushi’s mind and offers unfiltered insights into his deepest thoughts and emotions. "Once you're going down the rabbit hole, you'll face many scary, weird, and disturbing things that will make you question your sanity. That's what this album is all about."

Once again produced by long-time-collaborator Sky van Hoff, GHØSTKID's third offering reignites Sushi’s versatile influences and shapes it into a modern sound. FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT is not just another fictional concept album, but a collection of eleven songs rooted in concrete situations of Sushi's life. Through turbulent years of doubt and struggle, GHØSTKID has become a vessel. Not only for Sushi, but for a growing community that finds strength and relief in the honesty of his music.

"Without GHØSTKID, the pressure would have been unbearable."

RAISED ON CANDY shares 'Pickle Eyes', announcing follow-up album to Steve Albini-produced debut

American alt-rock outfit Raised On Candy presents their new single 'Pickle Eyes', a tightly wound blast of melodic tension and explosive guitar-driven release. The first warning shot ahead of their sophomore album 'Play Marbles on the Turnpike', forthcoming via Magic Door Record Label, the track sets the tone for a record that finds the duo expanding their noisy, hook-heavy sound and unruly edge.

A tightly wound blast of melodic tension and explosive guitar-driven release, the track sets the tone for a record that finds the duo expanding their noisy, hook-heavy sound without losing its wonderfully unruly edge. It's the first warning shot from an album built to hit hard, take unexpected turns and linger long after the ride stops.

Equal parts melodic earworm and noisy joyride, the track barrels out of the gate with wiry guitars, explosive rhythms and an unmistakably off-kilter charm. It's a tantalizing glimpse of an album that promises sharp hooks, combustible guitars and plenty of glorious left turns.

Raised On Candy is Joe Penna (vocals, guitars) and Scotty Imp (drums, cymbals). Formed from the ashes of the band Buteo, Raised On Candy is the next step in the evolution of their music, weaving old school indie-rock and post-punk nuggets into tasty sonic delicacies. They've always called Montclair, New Jersey their home base. Scotty lives there and, while Joe lives in Riverside, Connecticut, he was born in Montclair and grew up in the nearby community of Toms River.

Raised On Candy produced this album together with Ray Ketchem (Guided By Voices, Luna, Elk City, Gramercy Arms, The Dambuilders), who also engineered, mixed and mastered it at Magic Door Recording Studio in Montclair from October 2025 to June 2026. With a minimalist interplay of melodic vocals, slow burn builds and massive hooks, their music unites precise rhythms with pyro-friendly guitars, transforming chaos into sharp, noisy rock.

"This song is about the personal enrichment that comes from having the courage to embrace the people and things that appear to be different from you.  Without curiosity, we are choosing  a life unlived, opting instead for intolerance and ignorance.  Buy the ticket, take the ride," says Joe Penna.

"We assembled this one as sort of a short scale boardwalk roller coaster - set the table with anticipation then let it all go with a couple of nice releases.  After that, we give you a little time to catch your breath then bring it all back around one more time for the big finish. Once it stops, push the bar up and go get some zeppoles."

Scotty Imp adds, "I remember 'Pickle Eyes' being written really quickly. I knew exactly what the drums were supposed to do before I could actually play the parts. I kept getting ahead of myself doing those big fills. I was excited that the song needed such expressive & energetic drum parts."

Scotty and Joe met over 20 years ago through a mutual friend, but it wasn't until after the demise of Joe's band Transit Belle around 2005 that they would collaborate. They formed the band Buteo, which eventually parted ways around 2010 after releasing one album and touring. While Joe pretty much stopped playing music, Scotty continued playing drums in Overlake and Stuyvesant, the latter of which he still plays with today. In 2022, Joe returned to songwriting, eventually leading to the birth of Raised On Candy.

Raised On Candy's self-titled debut album was recorded with legendary producer-engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, The Breeders, Bush, Cheap Trick) at Electrical Audio and mastered by Matthew Barnhart (Superchunk, The New Pornographers, Bob Mould, The Mountain Goats) at Chicago Mastering Service.   This would be one of the last records Steve ever worked on before passing away in May, adding a whole new level of emotion to this album, which would be released in July 2024.

On September 15th, 'Pickle Eyes' will be released across digital platforms, includingSpotifyApple Music and Bandcamp. The 'Play Marbles On The Turnpike' album, which is now available for pre-order, will be released on November 13th.

Kenny's SILVER SANDS MARINA Massive Media Sweep Starts w "TODAY" Concert 9-17

As someone who loves songs, making music and creating a soundtrack for how life is lived by real people, Kenny Chesney has created an indelible body of work. With Silver Sands Marina, his 21st studio album, approaching its Sept. 25th release date, the East Tennessee songwriter/superstar is getting ready to take the music – and stories – to New York for a media gauntlet that gets inside the songs, the process and heart of what became an actual album.

Three years and myriad songs in the making, the man Wall Street Journal crowned “The King of the Road” will kick things off September 17 on the Plaza at Rockefeller Center as part of “TODAY”’s Citi Concert Series.

“When you make a record and you take your time, it takes you places you might not go otherwise,” Chesney says of the album. “We recut ‘Carry On,’ the first single because this version felt like the moment we’re living in. ‘Silver Sands Marina’ and ‘Remember Me That Way’ came in later, and changed the shape of what this album is…

“So, it’s great to be able to play a few of these songs on the plaza, to really give people this music. At home, in the streets, wherever people are, we’re going to be able to share these songs live – and exchange that energy that we all live for.”

From there, he heads downtown to visit “The View.” A favorite of the table, he’s going to talk about where some of the songs came from, some of the guests and where he’s heading in 2027. It will make for lively conversation as there’s plenty to unpack before Silver Sands Marina arrives. Then onto ESPN for several midafternoon shows, as well as taping a special talk with E Street Radio.

“These songs hit on so many levels, it’s great to be able to talk about what we’re doing at all these different shows. I love the women at ‘The View,’ who are smart and fun, who get out there and live, so they come at the music from that place. I was honored to be asked to visit E Street Radio because I respect what Bruce shares with his people, that same passion and embracing life no matter what. Then everyone at ESPN speaks to that place in me that always says, ‘Nothing brings people together like sports and music,’ which is true.”

After the response to his first appearance, Chesney returns to TalkShopLive for a conversation on the 17th. Tune in at 8pm Eastern, he will have a more in-depth conversation, as well as take questions from people watching. Watch the conversation HERE.

Next week, Chesney joins “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King for a meaningful sit-down. He will also appear as part of Tom Llamas’ “Great Americans” series for “NBC Nightly News,” which looks at individuals who’ve bettered their communities and world. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Michael Phelps, retired astronaut Eileen Collins, John Grisham and more have taken part.

The Country Music Hall of Fame member will also be part of Howard Stern’s Howard 100 channel. On Sept. 23, the station will be slicing bits of an extended interview into their programming to celebrate Silver Sands Marina’s release.

“You can have a lot of conversations about the same thing, and they’re often not alike,” Chesney says. “When I looked at the schedule, I thought ‘This is a lot’; but I know when I start doing the actual conversations, I’m always amazed at what I learn about the songs and records, hearing what these people heard and experienced. I also think different people care about different things, so each of these shows lets this music land how it needs to for all the people.”

'00s Faves Dry Kill Logic Celebrate 20 Years "Of Vengeance & Violence" With Vinyl Release + Louder Than Life Performance

Twenty years after the release of their landmark album Of Vengeance & ViolenceDry Kill Logic are celebrating the anniversary with a special return to the stage, the album's first-ever vinyl pressing, and the beginning of a new chapter for the band.

The group will mark the anniversary with a special performance at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, September 18. The performance will serve as Dry Kill Logic’s final show of 2026 before the band heads into the studio to begin recording their new full-length album — Your Sins Will Find You.

20 YEARS OF VENGEANCE & VIOLENCE:
Originally released in September 2006, Of Vengeance & Violence stands as one of the defining releases in Dry Kill Logic's catalog. Twenty years later, the album continues to represent a pivotal moment in the band's evolution, combining their trademark aggression with a broader and more dynamic approach to songwriting.

To commemorate the anniversary, Dry Kill Logic will release the first-ever vinyl pressing of Of Vengeance & Violence.

The limited-edition release will feature two exclusive variants:
Yellow & Black Galaxy (125 copies)
Purple Smoke (125 copies)

The anniversary vinyl, along with exclusive commemorative merchandise, are available for pre-order on the band's official store at this location.

The celebration hits the stage at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, September 18 and marks the group's final show of 2026.

"This record has meant so much, both to us and to the people who have carried it with them for the last 20 years," says vocalist Cliff Rigano. "Being able to celebrate it by finally releasing it on vinyl and playing Louder than Life is surreal."

THE NEXT CHAPTER: YOUR SINS WILL FIND YOU:
Following their performance at Louder than Life, Dry Kill Logic will return to Silver Bullet Studios to continue recording their fourth full-length album, Your Sins Will Find You. Working with producer Greg Thomas (End, 100 Demons, Blood for Blood), the album promises to honor the band's roots while pushing their sound into new territory. Fans can expect a dynamic blend of ferocity and melody, building on tracks such as "Vices," "Don't See Ghosts," and "Now You Belong With the Dead," while retaining the raw aggression that has defined Dry Kill Logic from the beginning.

After decades away, the band is not looking backward.

Your Sins Will Find You represents what comes next.

Swedish Symphonic Metallers ELEINE Release New Single "Liars Linger" + Visualizer

Swedish metal band ELEINE drop their new single and visualizer “Liars Linger” from their upcoming fifth studio album, ‘The Water Taste Of Blood,’ out December 4th via Algoth Records / Sound Pollution.

Where “Watch As We Rise” was the soundtrack of the empire coming down, “Liars Linger” is about the kind of betrayal that only cuts this deep when it comes from someone you trusted with your life, whose words turn out to be worthless and whose blades were sharpened long before you saw them coming.

Exhausted but still marching, the song refuses to let that wreckage harden into fear, turning the pain into the very strength that carries you back out of it. It builds with tension before breaking wide open into a chorus that no longer belongs just to the band, leaving you standing taller than it found you.

Watch the Visualizer for "Liars Linger" Below:

In ELEINE’s own words:

“Have you ever trusted someone deeply? Maybe even to the point where you trust them with your life? When trust is broken, it all falls apart. It is time to open your eyes towards all that has been, is and will become. You must realize what is now, is real. But do not fear being deceived again, use the pain to rise through the lies and reclaim your freedom. 'Liars Linger' is one of the strongest choruses of the upcoming album. It’s heartbreaking yet uplifting, heavy but fragile. We hope our fans will embrace this song as much as we have.”

Stream / Listen to "Liars Linger" HERE

What began in southern Sweden has grown into a loyal global community united by music, perseverance, and the refusal to give up. Led by vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist/vocalist Rikard Ekberg, ELEINE have spent recent years building one of metal's most dedicated fan communities through acclaimed releases, including a #1 album on the Swedish sales charts, successful headline tours, and a direct connection with their audience that extends far beyond the stage.

Along the way, the band has shared stages with Arch Enemy, Kamelot, PAIN, Sonata Arctica and W.A.S.P., while steadily building a headline presence of their own. Their 2024 European headline tour sold out multiple dates and led directly to a second headline run in spring 2025.

ELEINE connect with nearly 700,000 followers across their social and streaming platforms, while their music videos have surpassed 60 million views on YouTube. Now with ELEINE’s new album 'Water Taste of Blood' arriving December 4th, 2026, and their most extensive European and UK headline tour already underway, ELEINE are ready to be heard on the biggest stage of their career and continue to expand the world they have built together with the Legion, their fans, who have grown alongside them and who have become the heart of the band.

Pre-Order 'The Water Taste Of Blood' HERE

From First to Last Announce "We Were Bleeding Anyway" EP Out 10/2 + Share New Video

Earlier this summer, FEARLESS RECORDS welcomed iconic, '00s band FROM FIRST TO LAST to its global roster.

The band is thrilled to announce the October 2 release of the new EP, titled WE WERE BLEEDING ANYWAY. Pre-order it/pre-save it here.

To herald the news, the band has also shared the video for new single "THEY SAID YOUR GHOST WAS A PROMISE." Watch it below.

This is no nostalgia play; this is your new millenium favorite band coming back with a vengeance unrivaled and with something important to say. "They Said Your Ghost Was A Promise" is everything fans know and love about the band — a catchy AF, hands in their air, emotional anthem front loaded with guitars, plate-shifting breakdowns, and DNA-altering singalongs that will define this period of your life. With new singer Lil Lotus confidently in the driver's seat, the band's re-energized sound pops with every note. When Lil Lotus, asks, "Do you want to" over and over in the final third of the song, the answer is a firm and resounding yes!

"'They Said Your Ghost Was a Promise' is a really special song," the band says. "It tackles the subject of loss of a loved one, and we hope it can resonate with others dealing with the same."

Formed in Florida in the early 2000s, From First to Last helped define the post-hardcore and emo scene by colliding soaring melody, chaotic aggression, and emotional songwriting. The raw, genre-blurring sound of Aesthetic, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Bodycount, and Heroine influenced generations of heavy music.

While former vocalist Sonny Moore went on to become Skrillex, founding-era guitarist Matt Good remained a driving force in modern rock, producing for Asking Alexandria, Sleeping With Sirens, Hollywood Undead, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire, and Escape the Fate. Guitarist Travis Richter later co-founded Los Angeles venue 1720, where his path converged with vocalist Lil Lotus. Together they formed If I Die First, channeling early screamo for a new generation.

Lotus grew up seeing himself in From First to Last. His unmistakable tone, visceral screams, and perspective as a lifelong fan make his arrival feel less like a replacement than the closing of a circuit.

By recruiting original bassist Matt Manning and drummer Chris Lent (I Set My Friends on Fire), the band has found the original source code of volatile dynamics, indelible melody and human imperfection into music shaped by adult experiences of loss, survival and rebuilding.

Now signed to Fearless Records, From First to Last have returned to live stages and completed a new EP. This is not nostalgia for nostalgia's sake, but rather the next logical step: A blast from the past that refuses to live there.

CORELEONI Celebrate Release of New Album Generection and Unveil Digital-Only Cover of "Lady Marmelade"

Swiss hard rock force CORELEONI is celebrating the release of their brand-new studio album Generection, out today via Reigning Phoenix Music. Packed with powerful riffs, infectious melodies and the unmistakable spirit that has defined the band from the start, the new record marks another strong chapter in CORELEONI’s journey. Adding a little extra flavour to release day, the band is also presenting their cover of the classic “Lady Marmelade”, which is available exclusively as a digital track.

Stream "Lady Marmelade" below:

Pre-order the new album Generection: https://coreleoni.rpm.link/generectionPR

Marking the band's fourth album since its formation in 2017 and the second featuring vocalist Gent Bushpepa, Generection sees CORELEONI returning to their roots with their heaviest and hardest-hitting record to date.

Built on a foundation of unreleased tracks, the album showcases the powerhouse lineup of Alex Motta (drums), Mila Merker (bass), and Jgor Gianola (guitars), standing as unshakable pillars of the band's sound. While heavier and harder than its predecessors, Generection never sacrifices warmth or atmosphere, especially in its most intimate moments. With the entire band contributing more to the songwriting than ever before, the result aligns perfectly with Leo Leoni's unmistakable signature sound.

The analog mix is one of the defining characteristics of Generection, recreating the magic of '70s and '80s recordings while injecting a modern edge. Razor-sharp riffs, driving rhythms, and just the right touch of sweetness and dimension make this an album that opens a door to the past for younger listeners while reconnecting older rockers with their roots.

Since launching CORELEONI in 2017, Leo Leoni has built the project into a celebrated hard rock force that bridges generations. With Gent Bushpepa once again delivering a commanding vocal performance and a band firing on all cylinders, Generection stands as a powerful statement of intent, honouring classic rock traditions while pushing confidently forward.

Set to be released on September 11 through Reigning Phoenix Music, Generectionis available for pre-order at: https://coreleoni.rpm.link/generectionPR

The Digipak CD edition also includes a bonus disc featuring the Live At Hallenstadion concert, recorded in Zürich, Switzerland, in July 2025 and previously available only as a digital release.

Suicide Silence Share Video for Title Track of New Album "Graceless" Out 11/20

Deathcore didn't invent itself.

The crushing combination of classic death metal ferocity with hardcore-punk spirit was created in garages and grimy venues. It was celebrated on message boards, in comment sections, and in sweaty, anarchic spaces where hardcore kids and death metal obsessives gathered. As the burgeoning sub-genre formed, teenage metalheads dared one another to get heavier. SUICIDE SILENCE made their logo synonymous with the most volatile and definitive stomp of the postmodern sound. Since their first rumblings in California's Inland Empire in the early 21st Century, the band's fusion of sonic violence, punk confrontation, and unapologetic nü-metal bounce put a fresh face on extreme metal.

They are thrilled to share "Graceless," the title track from their upcoming album, which is set for release on November 20.

The band comments, "This is the title track off our new record. It's a short 'n' sweet crusher that gives you a taste of what this record is all about. Check out our podcast where we go in detail about the song, video and album."

Watch the ferocious video, which captures the essence of what put deathcore on the map in the early 2000s, below.

Be sure to check out the accompanying podcast, which offers in-depth background information on "Graceless," here.

First pre-orders are available here.

SUICIDE SILENCE remain stubbornly communal. They have always written best with bodies in a room, amps cranked, and friendly arguments evolving into arrangements. That collective instinct gives Graceless its strange comfort amid the chaos. It is vicious, ugly, physical, immediate, and fully inhabited by a band that survived every argument about what it was supposed to be.

As Garza puts it, the goal was to "just get out of the way and serve that band logo. When we choose to do that, great things follow. We're back to doing it exactly as we did it when we were kids: Just playing heavy shit and doing it from the heart."

"Deathcore" was once a word thrown at them as a limit. Today, it's a flag planted in the dirt. 24 years after their first noise from SoCal, SUICIDE SILENCE stand in rare company: Survivors who never mistook endurance for safety, craftsmen more than capable of making instinct sound like impact. Graceless is the circle closing, hard, with newly sharpened teeth, hungry for future conquest.

First on their agenda is the North American "Reminders of Hell" headlining tour, featuring support from Emmure, AngelMaker, and Synestia.

SUICIDE SILENCE ON TOUR:
WITH EMMURE, ANGELMAKER, + SYNESTIA:

Progressive Duo CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE Explore Restraint And Internal Pressure In The New Single, "The Waiting Storm"

In "The Waiting Storm," CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE present an immersive sonic offering representing internal turmoil between patience and appeasing a restless mind. The track lands ahead of their forthcoming album Primordial Reverie Ascendant, out January 8, 2027.

"The song centers on restraint and internal pressure," CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE explain. "This is heard in lines like 'I sit and lie in wait, a tempest ruminating'. As the track progresses, the 'beast' and 'storm' imagery point to something growing beneath the surface. An increasing urgency that can no longer be ignored. What begins as patience shifts toward inevitability.

Outside of the narrative, the lyrics also reflect periods of creative stagnation. Lulls in momentum where progress feels stalled. That tension between inactivity and pressure mirrors the track’s central themes."

Musically, "The Waiting Storm" contains the duo's most straightforward arrangement on Primordial Reverie Ascendant's track list. The song's catchy riffs convey a darker mood throughout the verses accompanied with fierce harsh screams. "The Waiting Storm" emerges into a soaring chorus with memorable lead vocal melody lines.

Primordial Reverie Ascendant was produced, mixed and mastered by Ryan Koepke at Chromatic Variable Soundworks. The album cover artwork was created by Alex Eckman-Lawn (Original Artwork), with the Ascendant version and single artworks by Ryan Koepke.

About CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE:

CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE began in 2024 by British Columbia-based multi-instrumentalist Ryan Koepke as an instrumental project. Musically, Koepke seeks to produce grand soundscapes through carefully constructed layers of instrumental textures and tones. A key component of CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE is chaos and unpredictability. Emotive storytelling is interwoven through each track's arrangement.

Following the release of the instrumental album, Primordial Reverie, in 2025, Chad Bernatchez (VOIDCHASER) joined CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE which led to a progression in creative direction to now incorporate clean and harsh vocals. With input from Bernatchez, the new release delves further into CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE's fictional realms bringing a new way of understanding the concepts first glimpsed in Primordial Reverie.

Then Comes Silence share 'Remaker Redeemer', second taste of 'Requiem Ballroom' album

Stockholm post-punk trio Then Comes Silence presents 'Remaker Redeemer', the second single from their forthcoming 'Requiem Ballroom' album, due in November via Metropolis Records. The music video, filmed by Damon Zurawski of Future Legends Films, captures the song perfectly, descending into the space between death and rebirth, where the final journey into darkness becomes a passage toward transformation, renewal and the possibility of another world.

Then Comes Silence has also just launched their European tour, which runs throughout September and October, bringing them to venues and like-minded music lovers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and Czech Republic, before returning home to Sweden for the final show on this leg.

A tightly focused trio since 2022, Then Comes Silence was formed in 2012 by vocalist-bassist Alex Svenson in 2012. Drummer Jonas Fransson and guitarist Hugo Zombie, round out the band in its most direct, powerful and uncompromising form. One of the leading names on today’s goth, post-punk and darkwave scene, they are driven by a fascination with horror, the occult and the raw intensity of underground music, having forged a distinctive sound and a devoted international following.

The 'Requiem Ballroom' album itself is divided into two parts: 'Ballroom' was mixed by Jon Bordon (Nicole Sabouné, Melody Club, The Exploding Boy) and the 'Requiem' half was mixed by Tom van Heesch (Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Backyard Babies)Svante Forsbäck / Chartmakers (Rammstein, Amaranthe, Ville Valo, The Rasmus, Apocalyptica) assumed mastering duties.

"'Remaker Redeemer' introduces the second part of the album 'Requiem Ballroom'. It’s about new life, and being reborn with the old sins washed away. A kind of cleansing, a fresh start, and the feeling of beginning again. The choice of instruments and sound on this track is a way to explore something different this time," says Alex Svenson.

"Death is generally regarded, across many cultures, as the final blackout where nothing follows. Yet in another sense, death can also serve as a metaphor for change and transformation. To take the next step, change is inevitable."

Then Comes Silence earlier released 'Judgement Day', a driving anthem that embraces failure, reckless choices and the thrill of living without regrets, embracing a final celebration before the inevitable reckoning. The vivid behind-the-scenes documentary by Marzipan Moonlight offers a glimpse into the video's creation and the thriving spirit of Stockholm's goth community.

With the German post-punk scene their second home, Then Comes Silence has toured relentlessly for years. Continually expanding their geographic reach, they have cemented their reputation as one of the scene’s hardest working bands. With several releases through Metropolis Records, they have further strengthening their international presence. Their impending eighth album follows ‘Trickery’ (2024) and'Hunger' (2022), jointly released by Metropolis and Nexilis Records / Schubert Music.

With dark atmospheres, driving rhythms, razor-sharp hooks and explosive performances, Then Comes Silence continue to push forward. They have earned their place at the forefront of the modern gothic rock and post-punk movement, proving themselves to be a vital contemporary live acts with frequent touring across North America, Latin America and Europe.

Then Comes Silence have shared the stage with acts such as The Fields of the Nephilim, Clan of Xymox, The Chameleons, A Place To Bury Strangers, Pink Turns Blue and The Bellwether Syndicate, while appearing at many of Europe’s premier alternative festivals, including M’era Luna, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Amphi Festival, Castle Party, Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival and W-Festival.

On September 11, 'Remaker Redeemer' is out everywhere, including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp, where their latest 'Trickery' album is available on vinyl and CD. The 'Requiem Ballroom" album will be released on November 20. Concert tickets can be obtained at https://linktr.ee/tcsontour

Denitia's Fourth Studio Album 'Texas Angel' Arrives 2/5/27; Title Track Available Now

Acclaimed singer, songwriter Denitia announces her fourth studio album, Texas Angel, arriving Feb. 5, 2027, marking her first release in partnership with Thirty Tigers for distribution. The album’s title track, “Texas Angel,” is available today, offering the first taste of new music from the forthcoming project and introducing a deeply personal collection of songs about love, belonging, family and the search for peace.

PRE-SAVE TEXAS ANGEL HERE AND LISTEN TO “TEXAS ANGEL” BELOW

Produced by Brad Allen Williams (Brittany Howard, Brandy), Texas Angel finds the country music songstress looking inward, reflecting on the pursuit of happiness and the desire to find a place and a feeling that can truly be called home. The album finds her walking through the highs and lows of love, success and self-discovery while looking beyond herself for wisdom from the generations who came before her.

“This record is me reflecting on the experiences of looking for peace and happiness in love, success and chasing that feeling of belonging,” says Denitia. “In these songs I’m walking my way through the ups and downs and ultimately taking a good long moment to look for answers in the people that came before me. Finding solace in simplicity. Trying to figure out if I can glean some wisdom from my ancestors, living and beyond.”

The title track, “Texas Angel,” captures one of the album’s central themes: the realization that loving someone does not always mean you can save them. The song explores the emotional exhaustion that comes from continually trying to fix the person you love and the moment when self-preservation means finally letting go.

“This one is the age-old tale of being convinced you can fix the one you love,” Denitia explains. “All their problems and shortcomings are there for you to pick up after. And there comes a time when you just can’t swoop in and save the day anymore. Your angel wings are all worn out.”

With Texas Angel, Denitia enters a new chapter, bringing hard-earned perspective to a collection that explores the complexities of love, identity, resilience and finding where you belong. The forthcoming album continues her evolution as an artist while placing emotional honesty and deeply personal storytelling at its center.

There were her relatives who worked in the industrial plants and the corporate offices of the oil refineries in greater Houston where the singer-songwriter grew up. Then there were the musicians that those relatives loved and introduced her to, creating an artistic lineage of similarly hardy stock. That included folks like Dolly Parton, George Strait and Loretta Lynn, who combined hustle with creativity and inspired Denitia to express herself.

With Texas Angel she isn’t just standing on the shoulders of these giants, she is actively reaching back down and patting those shoulders in gratitude, tipping her musical cap by building something that is distinctly her own but pays tribute to those efforts and influences.

That concept, of honoring her forebears while telling her own story, began taking shape during a songwriting session following her first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in 2024.

“Getting invited to play the Opry was momentous for me because my grandmother, my great-grandmother, they all listened to WSM and now there was somebody in our family who was on that stage,” shares Denitia. “It was this mixture of feeling like, ‘Wow, I just want to be a part of the fabric and the lineage of country music’ and realizing my positioning in my family. And then also just the idea of standing in one's own power.”

Given its roots, it is no surprise then that Texas Angel is an unadulterated country affair, its 14 tracks suffused with warm acoustic instrumentation, wistful steel guitars and Denitia’s inviting vocals, toggling between tender vulnerability and fiery flintiness as she exorcises romantic and professional demons of the past, embraces the quotidian pleasures of the present and explores the freedom of an unwritten future.

“I feel like I'd been circling it with my last two records,” she says of the album’s traditional sound. “I kept getting closer and closer and I thought, all right, enough. I'm going to go directly for it. I want to make a classic country record that is inspired by the people that I love in this genre — Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Glen Campbell, Loretta Lynn, George Strait.”

Her forthcoming album Texas Angel, produced by Brad Allen Williams (Brittany Howard, Brandy), finds Denitia digging into her musical and familial roots to produce an album of classic country with a contemporary edge.

Stoned Jesus Get Theatrical on Proggy New Single “Jackal”

With their forthcoming album trilogy, the heavy progressive trailblazers in Stoned Jesus are reaching a new creative peak. After topping best of 2025 lists with its scorching opener, Songs to Sun, this year, frontman Igor Sydorenko and his bandmates are cycling into the darkest, most daring and deeply moving territory of their career with Songs to Moon.

Today, Stoned Jesus are thrilled to release the album’s mini prog opera as the second advanced single from Songs to Moon. While hounded by grim hopes for the future, the wily “Jackal” will leave progressive rockers of all stripes pleasantly surprised.

“‘Jackal’ is Stoned Jesus at our most theatrical. Even though the time signature is 4/4 through and through, it’s the proggiest song on Songs to Moon”, Sydorenko says before adding. “Bonus challenge for all the true prog nerds. See if you can find the early Marillion line that I quoted word for word”.

Watch the video for “Jackal” below:

Songs to Moon comes out October 16, 2026 on Season of Mist.

The Songs trilogy spans the many phases of Stoned Jesus. While an existential shroud hung over Songs to Sun, Songs to Moon plunges the band into a dark night of the soul. Like the bogeyman, “Jackal” stalks through a house of horrors. “In the darkness of the future past”, Sydorenko whispers over drums that rattle like Alice in Chains on Jar of Flies. “Hear me walking over skulls and dust”. Behind each locked door lies a disturbing scene that one expects to find when reading Aldous Huxley or George Orwell.

Lyrically, the question that ‘Jackal’ poses is pretty much on the nose”, says Sydorenko. “When you sell your soul for comfort, what kind of future do you get in return?”.

But even though Songs to Moon is their most melancholic album, Stoned Jesus can’t be confined to just one shade of blue. As shadows often do, “Jackal” shifts its shape in the blink of an eye. “Go to sleep”, Sydorenko commands before kicking down the doors with the album’s heaviest - and funkiest - blues riff. The facts of the matter are grim (“No money, no future, no reason to fight”), but the song’s epic symphonic coda builds a clear case that for Stoned Jesus,  both the present and future are blazingly bright.

The video for “Jackal” was created by Phobia Artworks.

Catch Stoned Jesus this fall as they debut Songs to Moon on European stages.

Stoned Jesus 2026 European Festival Dates

October 30 - Vallet, France @ WeStill Fest [TICKETS]

Following in the steps of Led Zeppelin III, Opeth’s Damnation or Alice In Chain’s Jar of Flies, during its final lap, Songs to Moon strips down to acoustic guitar and Sydorenko’s hushed vocals. “And when the sun goes down / It brightens up my mood”. As the dreamy desperation of “Window In My Room” fades beneath the stark reminder of closer “One More Empty Day”, Stoned Jesus return to earth weary but wise beyond their years and ready to explore the next frontier.
