Wind Walkers Release New Music Video "Eating My Heart Out" (via Fearless Records),

Genre-blending metalcore outfit Wind Walkers have today released the official music video for their poignant new track "Eating My Heart Out" (via Fearless Records), directed by Alex Kouvatsos at Blackwolf Imaging. Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, vocalist Trevor Borg commented:

"This song captures the guilt, feeling of distance and identity conflict that comes with life as a musician and being on the road. You can feel such a divide in identity, having to be what your career needs and who your family needs at the same time. I’m sure this song will resonate with people dealing with turmoil in a relationship, but I truly wrote this song to be a portrait of guilt in having uncertain dreams, with the intent to resonate with other artists and people who share the same conflicts. I also intended for it to serve as a message to the fans and lovers of music about the sacrifices that go into the art form they hold so dear to their heart."

Prior to today, the quintet announced signing with Fearless Records and dropped "The End Aesthetic" through their new label home which has clocked up 164k views and counting on YouTube and nearly 1.2 million streams on Spotify alone. Watch "Eating My Heart Out"  below, and stream the track here,

Wind Walkers Drop New Track "The End Aesthetic" + Official Music Video With New Record Label Home Fearless Records

It's a great day to be a Wind Walkers fan! Today, the genre-blending metalcore powerhouse made their triumphant return with their new single "The End Aesthetic" (produced by Nick Matzkows and Jon Eberhard) and the official music video. Furthermore, Wind Walkers announced signing with their new label home, Fearless Records. When asked about the inspiration behind today's track, the band shared:

I think that lyrically this song ended up being a lot more self-observant than I had intended it to be. I started with the chorus which is more of an outward projection, expressing the feeling that everyone is hiding something about themselves. Whether that be hidden anxieties, fears, or vices. As I wrote more, this song kind evolved into something that looked more inward. It talks about my own issues with numbing to distract myself from how sick the world is and asks the question, “Was our environment designed to make us feel this way?

Wind Walkers Release Highly Anticipated Album "What If I Break?" & Drop New Video For "The Overlook"

Wind Walkers, the genre-defying visionaries, are thrilled to announce the release of their groundbreaking album "What If I Break?". Continuing to break boundaries and forge their own path in the alternative music scene, Wind Walkers have swiftly gained acclaim, with "What If I Break?" emerging as one of the standout albums of the year. Fans can stream the recent release HERE.

The album release is accompanied by the release of their latest single "The Overlook". With the incendiary new single, Wind Walkers unleash a sonic inferno through its fiery composition that encapsulates the band's artistic fervor. Fans can watch "The Overlook" below.

Speaking on today's single release, vocalist Trevor Borg shares:

"This song is a bit different than the others on the album in the sense that I didn’t necessarily write the lyrics from personal experience. I’ve always wanted to challenge myself and write a song about a story I loved, and if the name isn’t a dead give away, I wrote this song about my favorite novel “The Shining”. The overlook is about the character Jack and his struggles to be a better version of himself and provide for his family. All while facing consequences of past mistakes as well as battling his vices, and literal possession from spirits in a haunted hotel."

Lifting the curtain behind the record, Trevor continues:

"Lyrically, What if I Break is a very introspective album. I wrote about very real experiences in my life these past few years. This album touches on love and death, connections with others as well as connections with myself. And the pressures that I felt trying to maintain those connections while chasing a dream I’ve had since childhood. These songs are on the verge of being uncomfortably honest, and I couldn’t imagine doing it any other way."

Authenticity is the heartbeat of "What If I Break?", as it dives into the depths of human experience, navigating themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. Seamlessly blending powerful instrumentals with hauntingly honest vocals, each track unfolds as a compelling narrative that showcases a spectrum of raw emotions and cathartic expression. With this latest release, Wind Walkers have made their triumphant return, claiming their status as dynamic trailblazers.

"What If I Break?", produced by the highly regarded Nick Matzkows (known for his work with Attack Attack, Until I Wake, Conquer Divide) and revered Jon Eberhard (I Prevail, Skillet, The Ghost Inside), promises to redefine the boundaries of post-hardcore and alternative metal. With their daring approach, Wind Walkers effortlessly blend the commanding force of modern metal with the irresistible charisma of pop, crafting a sound that is both emotionally charged and undeniably catchy.
