Scottish metal titans Bleed From Within are thrilled to announce their very first North American headline run: 'The Zenith Tour'! The 27-date trek will kick off on April 2nd (Worcester, MA) and run all the way through to May 7th (New York, NY), with stops in Montreal, Chicago, LA, and Dallas. Joining the band as special guests are UK metal powerhouse SYLOSIS, along with GREAT AMERICAN GHOST and LIFE CYCLES.

After 20 years, Bleed from Within have reached their Zenith. The Glasgow firebrands are one of the hardest working acts in metal: playing shows globally with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, all while writing and regularly releasing monstrous, exhilarating songs. The upward journey reaches new heights on their seventh album, which contains the band’s heaviest, catchiest and most intrepid music to date.

Bleed – vocalist Scott Kennedy, guitarists Craig “Goonzi” Gowans and Steven Jones, drummer Ali Richardson and bassist Davie Provan – have long been Scottish metal’s most valued sons, constantly at the vanguard of muscular-sounding music. First albums Humanity(2009) and Empire (2010) made them cult figureheads in the deathcore scene, before Uprising(2013) broadened their palate with groove metal adrenaline and melodic death metal prowess. It also marked their major-label debut, catapulting them onto tours with heavy royalty.

In 2018, the band returned with the ferocious Era. Then, follow-ups Fracture (2020) and Shrine(2022) proved their greatest triumphs to date, intertwining Scott’s snarls with Steven’s majestic singing. The millions of streams gathered by such singles as ‘The End of All We Know’, ‘Into Nothing’ and ‘Levitate’ proved Bleed had become the next big thing. On Zenith – which was announced alongside career-affirming tours with Slipknot, Trivium and Bullet for My Valentine – the quintet are primed to leap into superstardom.

Across 11 songs, Zenith explores the parameters of what pulse-pounding metal can do. ‘Violent Nature’ is the most attention-demanding opener Bleed have ever penned, accelerating from a distorted intro to an onslaught of drums, blitzkrieg riffs and layer upon layer of screams. Single ‘In Place of Your Halo’ is a heavier counterpoint: its hulking groove leads up to a surprising bagpipe section, keeping the band in touch with their homeland as they affirm themselves on the world’s stage. From the bold string sections throughout the album to finale ‘Edge of Infinity’, which rises from acoustic guitars and singing to an almighty crescendo, Bleed’s horizons have never been broader. Yet, their songs have never felt so invigorating across the board either.

Today, Svalbard have released their final song, 'If We Could Still Be Saved'.

Revealed two days before the start of their final UK headline tour, Svalbard open up for the final time. On the track, members Serena Cherry, Liam Phelan, Mark Lilley and Matt Francis tear through 5 minutes of heart-wrenching shoegaze and pumelling post-metal, delivering sharp bitter bile and shimmering lush melodies in equal measure. They bow out with the raw, crushing honesty and ingenious musicianship that they're cherished for.

Serena Cherry stated:

"We spend most of our lives unaware of finality. Blissfully oblivious to when those musical notes played will be our last.

So, when we can see an end in sight for something, it distorts the view. Like a funeral marked in your calendar a year in advance. Appreciation shows it's sheepish face and whispers: 'sorry I took so long.'

This is the last time we will release a song as Svalbard. Its a song not just heavy with riffs but heavy with sentiment, reflecting on our 15 years as a band. It's also a parting gift to all of the people who have supported us.

Think of it as the metal version of "Goodbye" by the Spice Girls!"

Across a fifteen-year career, Svalbard have released four studio albums, three EPs and several split releases. Whilst continually refining their distinctive blend of euphoric black metal, post-rock and d-beat, they incorporated a few more surprising influences along the way. From soft, mournful singing to progressive guitar leads, which showcased a sensitive dynamic, lending impact to their most crushing moments - of which there are undoubtedly many. There’s been no poetry, no ambiguity - just direct, raw honesty as the quartet have tackled some very uncomfortable subjects head on. "From the moment we formed Svalbard in 2011, all we wanted was to play loud and play shows. CHAMA was recorded at the Platinum Underground Studio in Mesa, Arizona by John Aquilino. John has worked with Max and company multiple times before and is not only a talented engineer but a family friend. The album was produced by Zyon Cavalera and Arthur Rizk. The latter was also responsible for the mixing and mastering. Rizk has not only worked with the Cavalera family numerous times before, but has also helped to shape the world of heavy metal in the modern day. EQUILIBRIUM - Reveal Sylvan Video For 'Borrowed Waters' Featuring Witchy-Pop Artist RONIIT

Pagan-metal wayfarers Equilibrium have revealed their new single, 'Borrowed Waters', featuring enchanting, witchy-pop artist Roniit. The track is the third single released from their new studio album, Equinox, due out on November 28th.

Equilibrium have unveiled an earthly, sylvan video for 'Borrowed Waters' also featuring Roniit, who bares her soul, in step with ancient tides.

René Berthiaume commented:
"This is the first original song of Equilibrium that has not been mostly written by me. I am very picky when it comes to the music, but when Jessy showed me the first demo, I immediately resonated with it. It is a very beautiful and fullfilling process to let other people dive into your project and be part of it. Also the collaboration with Roniit felt very natural. For me authenticity in art is super important and you can hear this also in her voice and see this in her video performance that she created for the song."

Jessica Rösch commented:
"'Borrowed Waters' is a song about surrender.
About learning to move and flow with life and with the natural world we’ve all forgotten about a little bit.
It speaks of cycles, of old memory and of a language older than us. Of what it means to belong to something much larger than yourself, larger than life itself.

The song was born out of a time when everything felt a kinda uncertain.
It’s also the first song I’ve ever written that isn’t for my own music project and the first one I don’t sing myself on, which made the process feel incredibly intimate in a completely new way. Hearing someone else carry my words and melodies was so so deeply moving.
Roniit captured the spirit and soul of 'Borrowed Waters' in the most profound way and I feel endlessly grateful for her.

It’s an incredible honour to have this song on the album.
Working with René on music feels like we speak a language only we understand, even without words.
Our writing styles are very different, yet somehow they fit together perfectly."

Para Bellum was recorded with Juan Urteaga, mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, and was mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios. The album is extremely polished and operating at full throttle. The band once again enlisted Eliran Kantor tocreate the album artwork. In an era flooded by AI-generated imagery. the hand painted creation encapsulates the album’s essence: a serene angel made of missiles, an explosion turned halo, surrounded by shovel-bearing cultists with books strapped to their faces.

The blistering, groove led anthem is tackling toxic friendships that leave a lasting scar. The struggles with pain of self-worth can be heard in the visceral delivery from vocalist Fabian Jochum throughout the song. Sydney alternative metal outfit Reliqa are back with pounding new single, 'Your Touch', a genre-blending anthem about ambition’s darker side and the risk of losing sight of what you love, out now via Greyscale Records and Nuclear Blast.

Written in close collaboration with artist and producer James McKendrick (Void of Vision), 'Your Touch' blends the quartet's trademark progressive metalcore roots with bright, dance-driven textures, pushing deeper into newfound sonic territory on their follow-up to last year's debut album Secrets of the Future.

"Your Touch is a continuation of a close-to-heart idea we started exploring on Secrets of the Future, about the fear of ambition going too far," says the band. "It’s about having tunnel vision, where your sight’s set on a single target so narrowly that one day you realise you’ve left everything you love behind. The song is full of outer space imagery for that reason - it felt like a fitting metaphor for making bold moves that leave you more isolated than ever."

Later this week, TEETH will kick-off back to back Fall treks. On the 12th, they will join HE IS LEGEND on their 20th anniversary of Suck Out the Poison. The 11-date trek will include EYES SET TO KILL, and DOWNSWING as well as see the band perform at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. Today, SOULFLY offer fans the first taste from the album in the form of the first single, ''Storm The Gates'. A battle cry against control and greed, the track summons ancestral strength and unites the tribe in rebellion—heavy, primal, and unapologetically relentless. CHAMA was recorded at the Platinum Underground Studio in Mesa, Arizona by John Aquilino. John has worked with Max and company multiple times before and is not only a talented engineer but a family friend. The album was produced by Zyon Cavalera and Arthur Rizk. The latter was also responsible for the mixing and mastering. Rizk has not only worked with the Cavalera family numerous times before, but has also helped to shape the world of heavy metal in the modern day. SOULFLY enlisted Carletta Parrish to create the album artwork. For the album, Igor Amadeus Cavalera (GO AHEAD & DIE, NAILBOMB, HEALING MAGIC) played bass and Mike De Leon played guitar. The album also features Dino Cazares (FEAR FACTORY) on one of the tracks.

Melbourne blackened nu-metal force MÉLANCOLIA today unleash their anticipated sophomore album, ‘random.access.misery’, via Nuclear Blast and Greyscale Records. Momentum is at an all time high for the band, having toured Australia three times over off the back of their debut album 'HissThroughRottenTeeth', and breaking into Europe and the UK twice on tours with Suffocation (US) and Ingested (UK). They wrapped a 17-date national tour supporting Thy Art Is Murder in July and prepare to embark on their own East Coast headliner starting September 11.

After establishing themselves in 2022 with their debut single 'Horror_Ethereal', the band announced the following February their signing to both Greyscale Records for Australia/New Zealand and Nuclear Blast for the rest of the world.
