"broken glass" is pumped full of crunchy, gnarly synths, death howls, and memorable melodies.

"The entire theme of this upcoming batch of songs encompasses my personal struggle with constant comparison," muses Young. "In today's social media-centered society, it is impossible to not compare yourself to others. I'm often sitting there wondering, 'Why them?' when I see someone thriving at something I'm trying to achieve myself. 'broken glass' is my message to those at the top."

And what a message it is! It certainly lets the listener know that Reece Young did not come to play. He came to stay.

New Jersey born and raised, Reece Young emerged and gained traction via his self-released early music. He lays it all out there has put all the adversity he's faced, his personal struggles, his frustration, into a vulnerable and universally authentic sound. Young, now Nashville-based, is "one of us" — a music obsessive who has channeled his passion for the scene and his favorite artists into making his own and getting onto the stage himself. With a modus operandi of sharing tales of facing adversity, overcoming personal struggles, by tying open-vein vulnerability and authenticity to gargantuan choruses, the time is now for Reece Young to set about joining the big leagues and emulating what his heroes have done before him.

"'Am I Wrong' touches on the darkest topic I've written about yet," the artist says. "Thoughts of suicide and depressive episodes have always plagued not only me, but a ton of people in my life. 'Am I Wrong' questions if continuing on is worth it. Is wanting an ending a bad thing? Forgetting about the consequences of what would follow a reality like that is frightening. Hopefully, the listener hears these words and finds solace in the knowledge that they aren't alone, and that other people out there struggle with the same thoughts."

"Am I Wrong" follows the previously release tracks "LOW" and "DARK."

Listen here. Watch the visualizer below.

The artist has channeled very relatable feelings regarding anxiety of the unknown into a perfectly crafted and infectious hybrid of earworm pop and gloriously rebellious art rock that sticks with you for days.

"Thematically speaking, it continues the story of my fear of the unknown," Young states. "The constant worrying about what lies ahead is represented by the violent guitar riffs. 'I'm used to seeing black' is the key line."

With deep care and intention for everything he does for his fans, Young hopes that he can "help the listener know there's someone else out there that struggles with the same things they do. I want people to find solace and a hand to hold in the darkness, through my music."

Reece Young Signs to UNFD + Shares Video For New Single "Dark"

New Jersey-born and raised Reece Young, who emerged and gained traction via his self-released early music, has signed to UNFD!

Speaking of his debut UNFD single "DARK," Young shares, "My goal with my music has always been to help listeners with whatever they are going through. When I was at my absolute lowest, relating to the lyrics in music was all i had in my corner supporting me. It truly saved my life, and I want to try and aid as many lives as I can with my own words."

"'DARK' is about the fear of death," he adds. "The chorus begs the question: What if we died out tomorrow? How would we be remembered? Will I have lived a fulfilling life? It's all too much to think about at once, at least for me. The goal with this track (and project to follow) was to make my mark on the scene I've admired from a far since before I even thought about making music myself."
