Dierks Bentley Establishes Broken Branches Fund to Provide Mental Health Resources Through Music Health Alliance

Today, award-winning songwriter and entertainer Dierks Bentley announces the establishment of the Broken Branches Fund with a multi-year financial commitment to provide mental health resources to the creative and touring communities. The Broken Branches Fund will be administered in partnership with Music Health Alliance (MHA)and will provide mental health grants for qualified candidates and their families to cover outpatient counseling, as well as a plan for follow-up care. More information and to apply for access to all resources that MHA’s groundbreaking Music Industry Mental Health Fund provides is available HERE. Additionally, fans will have an opportunity to donate to the fund themselves throughout the summer at tour stops and other activations and online at https://bit.ly/DonateToMHA25.

“Making this album and prepping for the tour, I’ve never been more aware of the sacrifice that the people in this town make every day to keep country music playing. Whether you’re sitting in a room all day trying to write the perfect hook or leaving home on a bus for weeks at a time, it can be isolating and exhausting. This just felt like the right opportunity to make a bigger commitment on my part to supporting those folks and their families in a more direct and intentional way,” said Bentley.

“Dierks was one of the first artists to believe in and support Music Health Alliance, and from day one, he’s led with both heart and action,” said Tatum Allsep, Founder & CEO of Music Health Alliance. “Creating the Broken Branches Fund at MHA to support music’s mental health shows his deep commitment to the people who power our industry both on stage and off, and to their well-being for many years to come.”

Bentley will kick off his 30-city Broken Branches Tour on Thursday, May 29, joined by Zach Top and The Band Loula, ahead of his forthcoming 11th studio album, Broken Branches, out June 13 (MCA). As he leans into this new chapter, Bentley embraces the knots and imperfections that have shaped his journey, proudly honoring the outliers of both country life and country music. The upcoming album’s lead single “She Hates Me,” which features his “trademark humor” (Billboard) while blending elements of Whitley and Weezer, scored Bentley his career highest charting debut with its playful edge to Bentley’s signature country sound. He counts eight Number One albums, 22 Number One songs, and over 9.5 billion global streams to his credit—plus 15 Grammy nominations and membership in the historic Grand Ole Opry. Continuing the path built from the ground up, as an entrepreneur, he has four locations of the gastropub and live music venue “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row,” has a Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection "Desert Son” and recently released ROW 94 – a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted with only “three ingredients and the truth” at Kentucky’s Green River Distilling Co. Craig Morgan’s American Soundtrack EP is available HERE

The new music is already receiving high praise, as American Soundtrack “represents the best of who Morgan is an artist and a person” (Country Swag) and how “every song on ‘American Soundtrack’ reflects his deep faith and patriotism, embodying the values that define him as both a singer and soldier” (Country Now).

The new music comes as Morgan joins his buddy, Blake Shelton, on his “Friends & Heroes” 2025 Tour with shows this weekend in Boston, MA at TD Garden (March 7) and Albany, NY at MVP Arena (March 8). Morgan’s “high-energy lifestyle, whether it’s snowmobiling through Alaska or working on his Nashville farm, keep him feeling decades younger than his age, which will come in handy…on tour with Blake Shelton” (Muscle & Fitness) while Lexington Herald Leader noted Morgan’s recent energetic performance has him “bounding onstage like a cannonball after Shelton’s first five songs [where he] dug into ‘Redneck Yacht Club’ with a jolt of vocal immediacy and vigor.”

Opening Enlisted is the working-class anthem, “Raise The Bar,” one of the EP’s two brand-new songs, which Craig sings with friend and neighbor, Luke Combs. And bookending the six-song project is “That Ain’t Gonna Be Me” with Trace Adkins, a song that spells out the importance Morgan places on his convictions. “I’m gonna put my hand up, I’m gonna stand up for what I believe,” he sings. “For me, it’s about God and family and country,” he says. “I am so blessed, and I recognize the blessings of the freedoms we celebrate in this nation.”

Among the newly reimagined tracks is “Almost Home” featuring Jelly Roll, who spoke with Billboardearlier this year about how the song impacted his life during his incarceration and inspired him as an artist. The pair gave an emotional performance of the song live on the Grand Ole Opry stage together last year in addition to a surprise appearance during Morgan’s sold-out concert stop at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Jelly shares: “This song is full circle for me. It’s about situations you are sometimes in that you just mentally want to be somewhere else — ‘Almost Home’ — it’s something that I listened to in jail. Me and my cellmates could really relate to it. When I got out, I spent what little money I had and went to see Craig Morgan at the Grand Ole Opry and cried when he sang it.”

Lainey Wilson lends her stellar talents to a reimagined take on “International Harvester.” “It’s an absolute honor to be a part of this record,” said Wilson “I remember the first time I ever heard ‘International Harvester’ and the feeling I got knowing that there was music being written that felt like it was made just for me. I come from a family of farmers, so it’s really a full circle moment to be on this track alongside my good friend Craig.”

Also included in the collection is “Redneck Yacht Club,” a collaboration with longtime  friend Blake Shelton, who made a cameo in the original song’s official music video in 2005. Shelton shares: “Craig and I have been friends for many years. I’m a fan of his music and admire him as a human. After all ofthese years, I still don’t understand why he still feels the need to wear that toupee, but I’m thrilled he asked me to sing with him on ‘Redneck Yacht Club.’”

Last week, Morgan kicked off his popular “God, Family, Country Tour 2023,” in partnership with Operation Finally Home. Morgan and special guests The Reeves Brothers will play thirteen theater and auditorium dates through the end of October. Tickets and VIP experience packages are on-sale now atCraigMorgan.com

His 2023 headlining tour follows last fall’s release of his personal memoir — God, Family, Country, which Craig wrote with Jim DeFelice, #1 New York Times bestselling co-author of American Sniper.
