CHAMA was recorded at the Platinum Underground Studio in Mesa, Arizona by John Aquilino. John has worked with Max and company multiple times before and is not only a talented engineer but a family friend. The album was produced by Zyon Cavalera and Arthur Rizk. The latter was also responsible for the mixing and mastering. Rizk has not only worked with the Cavalera family numerous times before, but has also helped to shape the world of heavy metal in the modern day. SOULFLY enlisted Carletta Parrish to create the album artwork. For the album, Igor Amadeus Cavalera (GO AHEAD & DIE, NAILBOMB, HEALING MAGIC) played bass and Mike De Leon played guitar. The album also includes features from Dino Cazares (FEAR FACTORY) and Todd Jones (NAILS).

EQUILIBRIUM - Reveal Sylvan Video For 'Borrowed Waters' Featuring Witchy-Pop Artist RONIIT

Pagan-metal wayfarers Equilibrium have revealed their new single, 'Borrowed Waters', featuring enchanting, witchy-pop artist Roniit. The track is the third single released from their new studio album, Equinox, due out on November 28th.

Equilibrium have unveiled an earthly, sylvan video for 'Borrowed Waters' also featuring Roniit, who bares her soul, in step with ancient tides.

René Berthiaume commented:
"This is the first original song of Equilibrium that has not been mostly written by me. I am very picky when it comes to the music, but when Jessy showed me the first demo, I immediately resonated with it. It is a very beautiful and fullfilling process to let other people dive into your project and be part of it. Also the collaboration with Roniit felt very natural. For me authenticity in art is super important and you can hear this also in her voice and see this in her video performance that she created for the song."

Jessica Rösch commented:
"'Borrowed Waters' is a song about surrender.
About learning to move and flow with life and with the natural world we’ve all forgotten about a little bit.
It speaks of cycles, of old memory and of a language older than us. Of what it means to belong to something much larger than yourself, larger than life itself.

The song was born out of a time when everything felt a kinda uncertain.
It’s also the first song I’ve ever written that isn’t for my own music project and the first one I don’t sing myself on, which made the process feel incredibly intimate in a completely new way. Hearing someone else carry my words and melodies was so so deeply moving.
Roniit captured the spirit and soul of 'Borrowed Waters' in the most profound way and I feel endlessly grateful for her.

It’s an incredible honour to have this song on the album.
Working with René on music feels like we speak a language only we understand, even without words.
Our writing styles are very different, yet somehow they fit together perfectly."

Sydney alternative metal outfit Reliqa are back with pounding new single, 'Your Touch', a genre-blending anthem about ambition’s darker side and the risk of losing sight of what you love, out now via Greyscale Records and Nuclear Blast.

Written in close collaboration with artist and producer James McKendrick (Void of Vision), 'Your Touch' blends the quartet's trademark progressive metalcore roots with bright, dance-driven textures, pushing deeper into newfound sonic territory on their follow-up to last year's debut album Secrets of the Future.

"Your Touch is a continuation of a close-to-heart idea we started exploring on Secrets of the Future, about the fear of ambition going too far," says the band. "It’s about having tunnel vision, where your sight’s set on a single target so narrowly that one day you realise you’ve left everything you love behind. The song is full of outer space imagery for that reason - it felt like a fitting metaphor for making bold moves that leave you more isolated than ever."

Symphonic metal sensation BEYOND THE BLACK are excited to share the third single from their eagerly awaited upcoming studio album, Break The Silence, which is due to be released on January 9th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The emotional anthem 'The Art Of Being Alone' features none other than Chris Harms of acclaimed German metal band Lord Of The Lost on guest vocals, and lyrically deals with important contemporary issues such as mental health, self-empowerment and positive life perception. A video that has been released alongside the single illustrates the feeling of being alone and cornered, but towards the end, it shows the path to self-awareness and ultimately, a way out of this mental prison.

John has worked with Max and company multiple times before and is not only a talented engineer but a family friend. The album was produced by Zyon Cavalera and Arthur Rizk. Rizk has not only worked with the Cavalera family numerous times before, but has also helped to shape the world of heavy metal in the modern day. To mark the album's arrival, the band will embark on their ‘access.all.misery’ national headline tour this September, with tickets available now via Destroy All Lines.
Momentum is at an all time high for the band, having toured Australia three times over off the back of their debut album 'HissThroughRottenTeeth', and breaking into Europe and the UK twice on tours with Suffocation (US) and Ingested (UK). They wrapped a 17-date national tour supporting Thy Art Is Murder in July and prepare to embark on their own East Coast headliner starting September 11.

After establishing themselves in 2022 with their debut single 'Horror_Ethereal', the band announced the following February their signing to both Greyscale Records for Australia/New Zealand and Nuclear Blast for the rest of the world. They released their debut album HissThroughRottenTeeth in April 2023, crafting a unique sound that has already catapulted them to new heights. Their very first show was in 2023 supporting THY ART IS MURDER on their Decade Of Hate Australian Tour alongside STARVE and JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED. Enigmatic synth rock duo, Zetra, have announced a 13-date UK and European tour later this year supporting Loathe, accompaned by Love Is Noise.

To celebrate the news, Zetra have released a visualizer for their dramatic, alt-metal soaked cover of Kittie's iconic track 'Charlotte'. The track also features Justine Jones from Employed To Serve. Watch the visualizer below.

Shrouded in mystery, the UK duo blend elements of shoegaze, synth, and post-punk into a sound that is other-worldly and spellbinding.
