WOLFHEART is set to unveil their highly-anticipated standalone single, "Iku-Turso,"in collaboration with Distortion Music Group. This powerful track is available on all major music platforms today, September 8, 2023.

Crafted by the talented songwriter Tuomas Saukkonen, "Iku-Turso" is a testament to his creative prowess. The single has been expertly brought to life by Saku Moilanen, who handled the production, recording, mixing, and mastering with finesse at DeepNoise Studios.

"Seems like with each concept album we make there is one story that is left behind and deserves a sequel to the theme. Our previous full length "King Of The North" was fully focused on Finnish Mythology and we did thorough job covering everything between creation of the nordic realm to the demigods of Finnish nature. But one truly primeval and malevolent creature, sea monster called Iku-Turso was left behind and now we are back to tell the story about a hunt of this beast that was also believed to be the god of war,” says Tuomas Saukkonen.

SEVEN KINGDOMS DROPS MUSIC VIDEO FOR CHASING THE MIRAGE

Power metal four-piece SEVEN KINGDOMS has released their official music video for "Chasing the Mirage". This music video was filmed during the Unleash the Archers and Beast in Black tours in 2021 and 2022. It features also Striker, Aether Realm and Lords of the Trident. Seven Kingdoms has also been announced for the ProgPower USA Festival in September of 2023. 

Their long-awaited fifth studio album, 'Zenith', is out now via Distortion Music Group. The follow-up to 2017's 'Decennium' and the "Empty Eyes" EP in 2019, 'Zenith' saw 7K put the power in the hands of their fans - who ultimately responded with thunderous support by raising more than $50,000 through the band's Kickstarter Campaign

Crowdfunded New Album ‘Zenith’ Coming in June 2022

Seven Kingdoms have signed a worldwide record deal with Distortion Music Group for the release of ‘Zenith’. Raising over $50,000, Seven Kingdoms successfully crowdfunded all associated costs with creating ‘Zenith’. During the crowdfunding period, Seven Kingdoms was approached by Distortion Music Group. DMG is a new boutique record label helmed by industry veteran and Juno Award Winner, Maurizio Iacono (Kataklysm, Ex Deo). Iacono has also helped build two thriving touring agencies: Continental Touring in North America and Decibel Touring in Europe, giving Distortion Music Group a big advantage in developing musical careers through the touring outlet. Distortion Music Group aims to serve artist needs and create a partnership that benefits everyone involved in this ever-changing musical climate.

St. Louis-based blackened thrash metal outfit BASTARD have released a new lyric video for their track "The Possession". The gruesome track is off the band's new studio album, 'Rotten Blood', which is out TODAY (March 11) via Distortion Music Group, a new label started by Kataklysm vocalist Maurizio Iacono.

About BASTARD:

Spawning from the ashes of Harkonin in 2010, members Jason Barron and Scott Fogelbach carried on with their newest whiskey-and-satan-fueled blackened thrash outfit, BASTARD. In 2012 the band released their first demos recorded by former-Harkonin guitarist, Matt Coyle. Following up in 2015 BASTARD recorded a 5 song covers EP entitled “Alcoholocaust” and shortly after recorded their first full-length album “Hades Command” with Encapsulated Studios engineer, Gabe Usery. Going through multiple lineup changes between 2015-2019 the band finalized a steady crew comprising of local shredders Jason Asberry of STORMRULER and Tim Kutterer of Lightning Wolf. BASTARD has since written a new record entitled “ROTTEN BLOOD” once again recorded by Gabe Usery at Encapsulated Studios filled with devilish riffs and a blackened thrash assault that heralds to the hounds of hell. Blending the classic sound of traditional Heavy Metal with the sounds of the blackened European thrash of the 80s & 90s, BASTARD is taking absolutely no prisoners with this release.
