ALL THE DAMN VAMPIRES Turn Benny Mardones' "Into The Night" Into A Gothic Midnight Tragedy

Los Angeles-based synthwave-meets-alternative-metal pioneers All The Damn Vampires drop their haunting reimagination of Benny Mardones' 1980 ballad "Into The Night" today, transforming the classic into a gothic midnight tragedy. The track arrives as the second single from the trio's highly anticipated debut album VICECORE, set for release February 4th, 2026. Fans can stream "Into The Night" HERE, watch the lyric video Below, and pre-orderVICECORE on vinyl HERE.

Founded, produced, mixed, and mastered by multi-instrumentalist Davey Oberlin - a longtime touring member of Korn who's also played in Winds of Plague and been a touring guitarist for Five Finger Death Punch - All The Damn Vampires builds on the original's tender vulnerability transmuting it into something altogether more sinister. Where Mardones delivered romantic yearning, Oberlin and powerhouse vocalist Ryan Rose conjure something darker: a fever dream of doomed love, violent transformation, and supernatural obsession.

"Our reimagining of 'Into The Night' takes the classic Benny Mardones ballad into darker, more goth metal-inspired territory," Oberlin explains. "A midnight race through the hills, a tragic crash, and a love that refuses to die.

One saved by fire. One saved by blood. Both forever changed."

The accompanying lyric video, created by Oberlin, features visuals inspired by classic choose-your-own-adventure books and offers cryptic glimpses into the song's reimagined narrative. Rather than spelling out the story, the video presents fragments of fever dream imagery that lets listeners connect the pieces and imagine their own ending. It's storytelling as much as sound design, inviting audiences into a world where love, death and immortality intertwine.

This mysterious story imagined by Oberlin, is the cinematic heartbeat of VICECORE, an album designed to evoke golden hour drives with the top down along the Pacific Coast Highway whilst ruminating on heartbreak and revenge. Recorded over 18 months, the album weaves completely reimagined covers of classic tracks (including Whitesnake's "Is This Love," Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight," and Cutting Crew's "(I Just) Died In Your Arms") with original songs, blurring the line between the two. The album features contributions from synthwave producer Sunglasses Kid on the title track, vocals from Jack Underkofler of Dead Poets Society on "Falling Into Darkness" plus guitar solos from virtuosos Andy James and Miles Dimitri Baker, who also rounds out the live lineup. The aesthetic draws from Miami Vice, hardcore merch culture, and Los Angeles gang imagery, filtered through Oberlin's deep love of film soundtracks ranging from The Goonies to John Carpenter's catalog, and a childhood spent obsessing over Type O Negative, Korn, and Alice in Chains.

All The Damn Vampires has already carved out a lane at the intersection of heavy music and visual media. The project's music has appeared in cult horror film Terrifier 2, while Oberlin's collaboration with Avenged Sevenfold on a reimagined version of "Ordinary", which he produced and co-wrote, debuted via a secret Fortnite puzzle, introducing the project to an entirely unexpected audience. With over 12.1 million cross-platform streams and 2.11 million YouTube views to date, All The Damn Vampires continues to build a world where retro can be cinematic, crushing, and heavy.

Black Coast Announce Signing to Papercut Recordings & Release New Single "Overflow"

Stoke-on-Trent, UK’s Black Coast have signed to Papercut Recordings, the label from Leo Valeri and Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary. The partnership launches with new single “Overflow”, punctuating a bold new chapter for the band and serving as the first step toward a full album planned for Spring 2026 (more on that to come). Fans can stream “OverflowHERE. Watch the accompanying music video Below

"Overflow” narrows the frame to the private headspace people use to cope when life swells too loud. Speaking on the track, vocalist Charlie Hewitt shares

“Overflow is the inner escape that everyone dwells in. I don’t want to wake up to reality sometimes. Sink in the overflow.”

That sentiment threads through Black Coast's catalog, which has drawn comparisons to Alice in Chains, Deftones, and Linkin Park while carving out its own identity. The band has accumulated over 4 million streams across platforms, with their work tackling mental health, personal struggle, and the weight of unprocessed emotion.

"Overflow" arrives as Black Coast enter into a bold new chapter. Their newly inked deal with Papercut Recordings comes after years of self-releasing music and building a dedicated following through relentless touring and raw, emotionally charged performances. The band has worked with producer Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studios since 2019, a partnership that has shaped their evolution from their 2021 debut album Outworld through their 2023 self-titled EP.

Black Coast will support the release with in EU and UK tour dates in November and December, including shows with Silly Goose and a London date supporting Profiler on December 10 at The Black Heart.

ABOUT BLACK COAST

Black Coast are a heavy music band from Stoke-on-Trent, England, formed in January 2016 from the ashes of local projects Bet It All and Dead City Souls. The five-piece comprising Charlie Hewitt (vocals), Scott Pinnington (guitar), Joe Mayer (guitar), Jack Beardsall (bass), and Matty Clark (drums) blend hardcore intensity with grunge textures, groove-driven riffs, and nu-metal aggression.

Their debut album Outworld (2021) and self-titled EP (2023) established Black Coast as a band unafraid to confront internal darkness, with lyrics centered on mental health, emotional barriers, and the struggle for authentic self-expression. Produced by Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studios, their catalog has earned over 4 million streams and 130K YouTube views to date.

Live, Black Coast are known for visceral, emotionally raw performances that prioritize connection over spectacle. They continue to champion Stoke-on-Trent's thriving music scene while advocating for men's mental health awareness.

Rogue Announce Papercut Recordings Signing + Drop New Track "Dominion" and Official Music Video

Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, progressive metalcore outfit Rogue have released their new track and music video "Dominion", via their new label home, Papercut Recordings. The dark, industrial-laced single speaks to the strong influence that various types of addiction can have over one's life. When asked about the song and signing, the band shared:

"‘Dominion’ is a song about the grip that different forms of addiction and temptations in life can have over us. While drugs are the most usual form of addiction, we kept the lyrics more open to interpretation so that it can apply to most vices whether that be sex, money, power, food, etc. We adamantly stand united with all of those who suffer from these afflictions, and want them to know they are not alone. We have been there ourselves in different forms, and we urge anyone struggling to reach out and take advantage of different resources whether that is calling the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP, dialing ‘988’ for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or texting TALK to 741741 to receive resources for what you may be going through.

We are so excited to finally put ‘Dominion’ out into the world. We know our fans have been waiting patiently, and we’re happy to have found a home with Papercut Recordings to finally help some new music see the light of day. ‘Dominion’ is the perfect hybrid song that takes all of our favorite parts of the old Rogue sound, and infuses the past 5 years of new influences that have inspired us. Thanks for being here with us in this new chapter, and we look forward to sharing more next year that delves further into these new sounds."

Stream "Dominion" at the link here, and watch the official music video below.

“dominion” - supreme authority; absolute ownership; possession of ability to wield force or influence

Four years removed from their last record ‘Phantom', Rogue returns with new single "Dominion" with a new message in tow. While loyal listeners of the band have grown to expect the scrutinization of political structures and metaphysical realities from vocalist Jansen Nunezatop pummeling riffs from guitarist Jeffrey Fisher, the progressive metalcore act have shifted into unchartered territory with "Dominion" to reflect on something different: themselves.

Following the introspective and somber tone on ‘Phantom’, the trilogy the band had crafted across their first three records was now complete. But all the time spent looking inward during a global pandemic took its toll, and the band decided to take a break until they felt a new message needed to be shared. Enter ‘Club Gore’ in January 2025, which introduced fans to the first change in direction with talks of hopelessness, apathy, and the human condition that can only be described as yearning to feel something among all the chaos of the world. Now with "Dominion", fans can get a deeper understanding of this darker path with the tackling of temptation and addiction.

Never ones to abandon the sound referred to as “face-shattering” and “hard-hitting” by The Noise, darker industrial elements and ambient soundscapes are further explored this time around, with more influence from film scores on display than ever before. These new sounds and inspirations stemmed from a disdain towards stoicism and complacency- both in the band’s musical and personal lives. With humble beginnings in rural Louisiana cities and eight years having passed since the debut single "Meta", Rogue acknowledges and embraces their roots, but refuses to remain trapped in motion, never doing the same thing twice. "Dominion" is evidence of this, and this display of vulnerability will only be further explored in the next chapter to come.

BLACKSHAPE Release New EP 'Prismer I' + "Feels Like Flying" Official Visualizer via Papercut Recordings

Atmospheric post-metal outfit BLACKSHAPE have released their new EP 'Prismer I' along with the official visualizer for "Feels Like Flying" via Papercut Recordings. The EP is the band's latest body of work since their 2021 self-titled full length, 'BLACKSHAPE'. Speaking about today's release, the band commented:

"Making 'Prismer I' was the most demanding creative endeavor of our lives. It tested friendships, stretched deadlines, introduced a new member, and pushed us to our absolute limits. We set out to make something bigger, heavier, and more beautiful than our first record, and we feel we’ve accomplished that. Musically, it captures the full spectrum of our elation and struggle throughout its creation.

Endless thanks to our producer and friend, Adam Cichocki (CHEE-HOT-SKEE), who worked tirelessly alongside us to bring this record to life. We couldn’t be more proud of what we created and can’t wait to release the first installment of Prismer into the world."

'Prismer I' is available now on all streaming platforms at the link here. Watch the "Feels Like Flying" visualizer below, and be sure to stay tuned for more BLACKSHAPE news coming soon.

ABOUT BLACKSHAPE

Haunting, intricate, and emotionally brutal, BLACKSHAPE create music that lives in the shadowed space between chaos and clarity. Their compositions stretch across post-metal, math rock, and ambient minimalism—twisting tension and release into something visceral and cinematic. For fans of sonic unease, dramatic builds, and songwriting that lives outside the lines.

Making Prismer IBLACKSHAPE’s new record, pushed the band to their breaking point. The process became their prison, a crucible of relentless personal and creative pressure. But the music was a prism—refracting that pressure into something beautiful, harrowing, and cathartic, and ultimately reshaping their perspective in the very act of making it. The title reflects this duality, capturing both the burden of confined thinking and the liberation in breaking it apart. Like a prism splitting light, every experience expands perspective into countless paths, showing that escaping the prison of one view means embracing the full spectrum: beautiful, ugly, terrifying, and freeing. This is Prismer.

ALL THE DAMN VAMPIRES Announce Debut Album; Share New Single & Music Video "Last Man Standing"

Los Angeles based synthwave-meets-alternative-metal pioneers, All The Damn Vampires have dropped brand new single, "Last Man Standing", alongside a sprawling, neon-drenched visual that watches two lovers refuse to let go of eachother as Los Angeles, and everything around them, burns to the ground. The track blends vintage synthwave textures with crushing alternative metal and arrives as the first single from the project's debut album VICECORE, which the band are proud to announce is set for release February 4th, 2026. Fans can stream "Last Man Standing" HERE, watch the video Below and pre-order VICECORE on vinyl HERE.

Founded, produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by multi-instrumentalist Davey Oberlin, a longtime touring member of Korn who's also played in Winds of Plague and Five Finger Death Punch, All The Damn Vampires fuses the cinematic grandeur of John Carpenter soundtracks with the emotional heft of Type O Negative and the retro-futuristic shimmer of Daft Punk. On VICECORE, Oberlin also plays guitar, bass, and keys, while powerhouse vocalist Ryan Rose, who makes his professional debut with the project, delivers soaring, classically trained performances that cut through the project's dense, atmospheric production. Virtuoso guitarist Miles Dimitri Baker rounds out the lineup.

"Last Man Standing is where I bring synthwave and crushing alt-metal together—the retro synths meet brutal guitar chugs in a way that just makes sense," Oberlin says. "At its core, though, the song is about loyalty and love: being there for someone no matter how much they hurt you or tear the world down, and still standing strong as the one who never leaves."

The video, created by The (John) Candy entirely using AI, unfolds like a fever dream through abandoned suburban Los Angeles. Golden hour light gives way to nighttime neon as rain-soaked streets, crumbling shopping malls, and dive bars flicker under pink and blue hues. A couple reaches for each other across porches and fog-choked alleyways while the city burns in the distance. By the final frame, they're suspended above a palm tree-lined street, silhouetted against the inferno, choosing each other as everything collapses around them. It's Drive meets Grand Theft Auto meets Miami Vice, shot through with Halloween gothic romance and apocalyptic longing.

There's a DIY ethos that runs through every element of VICECORE. Recorded over 18 months, the album weaves reimagined covers of classic tracks with original songs built to stand alongside them, creating what Oberlin describes as "an album you could really get lost in driving, something that might take people back while introducing them to new vibes through modern production." The album also features contributions from synthwave producer Sunglasses Kid on the title track, plus guitar solos from virtuosos Andy James and Miles Dimitri Baker. The aesthetic draws from Miami Vice, hardcore merch culture (think Nails), and Los Angeles gang imagery, filtered through Oberlin's deep love of film soundtracks such as Blade Runner, The Lost Boys and The Goonies and a childhood spent obsessing over Type O Negative, Korn, and Alice in Chains.

All The Damn Vampires has already carved out a lane at the intersection of heavy music and visual media. The project's music appeared in cult horror film Terrifier 2, while Oberlin's collaboration with Avenged Sevenfold on a reimagined version of "Ordinary", which he produced and co-wrote, debuted via a secret Fortnite puzzle, introducing the project to an entirely unexpected audience. With over 11.7 million cross-platform streams and 2 million YouTube views to date, All The Damn Vampires continues to build a world where nostalgia can be both camp, cinematic and completely crushing, all at the same time.

PALEFACE SWISS Announce 'The Wilted EP'; Unveil New Single & MV "Let Me Sleep"

Following the surprise drop of their recent single, "Instrument of War" feat. Stick To Your Gun, Switzerland’s heaviest export Paleface Swiss return with the announcement of The Wilted EP, scheduled for release on January 2nd, 2026. The band have also unveiled brand new banger, Let Me Sleep" along with its accompanying music video, which will join "Instrument of War" and 3 further unreleased tracks to round out the new EP. Listen to "Let Me Sleep" HERE and watch the music video Below. Special pre-order merch bundles of The Wilted EP are available now HERE.

A visceral scream from the threshold of exhaustion and fear, Let Me Sleep” drills into frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger’s spiraling struggles with insomnia and the mental fractures left in the wake of relentless touring. The track anchors a new era for the band, one that picks up where their critically-acclaimed, highest-charting-to-date album Cursed left off and digs deeper into the psychological and emotional terrain that followed.

“Do you know the feeling when you want to sleep but your head doesn’t allow it—maybe because you fear your dreams?” Zelli asks. “Or do my dreams fear me? Sleep is so important to me, but sometimes my mind just won’t let me.”

Musically, the track is classic Paleface Swiss: punishing breakdowns, cinematic scope, and a pulse of vulnerability beneath the weight. The video, inspired by Slender Man and Hellraiser, blurs the line between dream state and waking dread and offers yet another unsettling, high-concept entry in the band’s expanding visual universe.

The Wilted EP was born in the aftermath of relentless momentum. Written across months of mostly-sold-out touring through Europe, the U.S., and Australia, it traces the burnout, emotional collapse, and uneasy regrowth that comes in the wake of releasing a life-alteringly successful album and trying to learn how to navigate the aftermath. If Cursed documented the breaking point, The Wilted EP lingers in what comes after. The hollow quiet, the spiraling mind, the fragile attempts to maintain forward motion and continue to rise.

Its visual identity continues the band’s symbolic language of flowers: blooms that were once vivid when featured on the Cursed album artwork, are now curled and brittle. An unflinching depiction of decay and disintegration.

Known for their incomparable live performances and fearless approach to intense and vulnerable topics, Paleface Swiss has built a reputation as one of the most vital, unfiltered, and rapidly rising forces in the world of modern metal today. With their latest full-length album, Cursed, Paleface Swiss took listeners into their darkest, most intricate, and artistically diverse chapter yet, combining their trademark Nu-Core heaviness with raw vulnerability, a rare and special combination for a band within their genre. The album charted at #17 globally on Spotify, #3 in the U.S., and #1 in the UK, followed by an extended version - Cursed: The Complete Edition.

The album's success kicked off a year of career-defining momentum for Paleface Swiss that included back-to-back sellout tours across Europe & the UK, North America, multiple festival performances and their first ever tour of Australia. Refusing to rest on their laurels, Paleface Swiss will begin 2026 with the release of their freshly announced 'The Wilted EP', their biggest tour of Europe and the UK yet and will be heading back to the US in May to play major festivals Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Festival.

ABOUT PALEFACE SWISS

Since their debut Chapter 3: The Last Selection in 2020, Paleface Swiss have risen from underground darlings to global heavyweights in the world of metal. With explosive riffs, punishing beatdowns, a brutally heavy rhythm section, and frontman Zelli’s signature vocal savagery, the band quickly gained momentum—landing four breakout tracks on Spotify’s Heavy Beatdown playlist Their 2022 follow-up Fear & Dagger pushed even further, earning praise for its emotional weight and unflinching heaviness, with standout reviews from Metal Injection, New Transcendence, and Wall of Sound. Singles like “The Orphan,” “Dead Man’s Diary” (feat. LANDMVRKS' Florent Salfati), and “My Grave / Lay with Me” solidified their place among the new wave of deathcore’s most innovative acts.

In the years that followed, Paleface Swiss took their chaos on the road—touring with Body Snatcher, Counterparts, and The Ghost Inside, and leveling festival stages from Sick New World to Hellfest. Their live reputation exploded, converting crowds with a show that fuses unrelenting brutality and raw vulnerability. Between headline tours and viral fan demand, they released standalone anthems “Best Before: Death,” “Please End Me,” and “The Gallow—each now included on their latest offering Cursed: The Complete Edition, the most ambitious and complete chapter of their journey so far. The Pretty Wild Unleash New Track "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" + Official Visualizer via Sumerian Records

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild has unleashed their latest offering, "AFTERLIFE (feat. Magnolia Park)" and the accompanying visualizer (via Sumerian Records). The track can be found in the band's forthcoming full-length 'zero.point.genesis', out Friday, November 21. Other tracks on the album include previously released bangers "PARADOX", "OMENS""Button Eyes""living ded", and the smash-hit "sLeepwALKeR" (as a physical bonus track). The songs so far have amassed over 23 million streams on Spotify alone and 3 million views on YouTube and counting. Speaking about today's drop, the band commented:

"'AFTERLIFE' circles the idea of star-crossed souls bound by something ancient and unbreakable. Conceptually it’s plucked from the kind of love you find in mythology and old tragedies, where you have this obsessive devotion and destruction. It isn’t perfect, but it's dark, beautiful, and eternal." -jules

"'AFTERLIFE' explores the idea that love dynamics are rooted in codependent magnetism and resonance patterns. it asks, what happens when obsession doesn’t end with death, but carries ur soul into magnetizing eternal dynamics? the result is kinda tragic and romantically glitchy. it’s basically a pop-metal requiem." -jyl

Blackshape Release New Track "Falling" and Official Visualizer via Papercut Recordings

Atmospheric post-metal outfit BLACKSHAPE have dropped their latest offering "Falling" and the surreal accompanying visualizer (via Papercut Recordings). Rife with soaring, expressive guitar melodies interlaced with menacing beats, "Falling" is taken from the band's forthcoming new EP 'Prismer I', set for release on October 24. Speaking about today's release, the band commented:

'Falling' captures the tension at the heart of [our] sound—the pull between making music [that is] heavier and more abrasive, and at the same time more beautiful. An intense instrumental journey, “Falling” speaks for itself while setting the stage for its vocal-driven sister song on [our] upcoming record, 'Prismer I'".

Stream "Falling" here, watch the official visualizer below, and pre-save 'Prismer I' here.

ICE NINE KILLS Unleash Dark Homage to Batman ‘89, “The Laugh Track”

Ice Nine Kills invite you to “dance with the devil in the pale moonlight” with “The Laugh Track,” their riotous homage to Gotham City’s Clown Prince of Crime. The new song and cinematic music video riffs on the Joker, particularly as portrayed by Jack Nicholson in Tim Burton’s gothic Batman

The Laugh Track” music video welcomes Matthew Lillard (Scream, Five Nights at Freddy’s, SLC Punk) and Phil Morris(Seinfeld, Smallville, Doom Patrol) to the INKverse, alongside returning collaborator Terry Kiser (Weekend at Bernie’s, Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Weekend at Bernie’s II).

Stream “The Laugh Track" HERE and watch the brand new entry into the INK cinematic canon Below.

Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas spills:

"Why be a brooding bat when you can have the last laugh? After all, Jack Nicholson got top billing in Batman '89. While Michael Keaton's haunted Bruce Wayne is outstanding, young Spencer was drawn more to the Clown Prince of Crime. 'The Laugh Track' is our homage to Tim Burton's dark and gorgeous gothic Gotham. Batman '89 took its comic book material seriously, but it was far from grounded, and never forgot to have fun. It's the same tightrope we walk in Ice Nine Kills, with broad, maniacal smiles.

“Terry Kiser returns in the video (although the rumors of Miles' demise are exaggerated). And it brings a warm human smile to my face to introduce Matthew Lillard and Phil Morris to the INKverse. Like Prince before us, 'The Laugh Track' will have you dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight."

"The Laugh Track" captures the dark theatricality, gothic ambiance, and twisted humor that made Burton's Batman a masterpiece, delivered through Ice Nine Kills' distinctive mix of intense yet melodic metal and cinematic storytelling. The track follows Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs hit "The Great Unknown” (inspired by The Matrix) and the record-breaking "A Work of Art" from the highest-grossing unrated film ever, Terrifier 3.

Lillard crashed the Ice Nine Kills panel at this year’s Silver Scream Con to announce his entry into the INKverse. He and Spencer also revealed details about their Horrorwood Reserve collaboration, a blood colored bourbon issued in detailed collector bottles by Lillard’s Macabre Spirits.

Silver Scream Con 4 brought nearly 13,000 horror and music fans to the DCU in Worcester. Ice Nine Kills' headlining concert included guest appearances from WWE superstar Rhea Ripley and The Walking Deaddirector/producer Greg Nicotero, among others.

Horrorwood Reserve whiskey is a toast to the horror fandom that fuels both Macabre Spirits and Ice Nine Kills.Made from Bloody Butcher corn and aged five years in new American white oak, the whiskey delivers a slightly dry, nutty profile with notes of cinnamon, leather, and spice. Horrorwood Reserve boxed sets are available in two collectible, limited-edition sets: Golden Age and Silver Scream. Both sets contain a killer bottle designed by Michael Cortada of Ice Nine Kills, featuring a sleek-as-ice glass topper, along with a selection of celebrity cocktail recipe cards from Charnas and Lillard, and an epic lineup of horror icons. Horrorwood Reserve launches to the public today in very limited quantities. Head to HorrorwoodReserve.comfor more information.

“Horrorwood Reserve is the liquid soundtrack to your favorite slasher flick,” says Charnas. “It tastes like suspense, danger, and the satisfaction of surviving until the credits roll.”

Ice Nine Kills leads an unstoppable cultural empire that brings together metalheads, horror fans, and cinema lovers under one blood-soaked banner. The band will headline a When We Were Young sideshow in Las Vegas on October 17, followed by this year’s WWWY. After that, they’ll head to Europe for a headline tour, leading directly into the first-ever overseas Silver Scream Con, Silver Scream London, on December 13 and 14.

ABOUT I SEE STARS

Somehow, it’s been nearly a decade since the last I See Stars album. There have, however, been a few hints and glimpses of it over the past couple of years. In 2023, the electronicore pioneers released four songs: AnomalyDriftare we 3ven and D4MAGE DONE, while in 2024 they put out SPLIT. While all five songs do appear on this record, they only revealed a fraction of what the band—these days comprised of Brent Allen (guitar), Andrew Oliver (keyboards/programming), Devin Oliver (clean and unclean vocals) and Jeff Valentine (bass)—had in store. Because THE WHEEL, the band’s sixth full-length, is an album in the truest sense of the word, one designed to be listened to in full from beginning to end, and which truly immerses you in its world when you do. It’s the product of a lot of patience, a lot of care, a lot of time, some of which was by design, some of which was out of the band’s control.

After releasing Treehouse in 2016 and then touring on it, I See Stars did actually start working on a new album, but when Covid hit, they scrapped pretty much all of it to instead sharpen their focus. There was, after all, nothing but time, so the band decided to spend it making a record that lived up to their own expectations and which fully matched their artistic vision.

“It gave us the opportunity to take a step back and really dive into what we wanted to actually dig in and write,” says Jeff. “Not that what was done before was bad, but this gave the four of us an opportunity to sit in a room with each other and just write.

As such, THE WHEEL is a fully-formed living memory of both of those eras, and one that places the listener right there with the band. “It's really kind of a special piece,” continues Devin, “and you feel that in the journey when you're listening to the album front to back. You feel us swimming in the mystery of what life was doing and where it was taking us.

Produced by David Bendeth, and mostly mixed by Zakk Cervini—though Tom Norris also worked on a couple of tracks—THE WHEEL took on a life of its own when the band started making it. The album begins with Spin It, which is simply the sound of a wheel being spun. It’s not just for aesthetic purposes, though. In the studio each day, the band would spin a web-based digital wheel to determine which song they would work on, but it was also a way to add some levity to the creative process.

“We would throw all the songs onto this website wheel,” remembers Andrew, “as well as some dumb, totally not creative thing in there that would like sidetrack us—but purposefully. It was this comedic approach that we were taking every day, where whatever the wheel told us to do, we’d do. It had these zany sound effects, but also created this weird vibe where we were like ‘We've just got to trust fate here.’ We're all obsessed with fate and letting things happen as they might, so the sound effect was an obvious thing for us to include—and then it took shape into a much larger concept.”

“What I really loved about the wheel concept,” adds Devin, “was it wasn't our choice. It was our choice to leave it to chance, yes, but we trusted the universe to point us in the right direction by spinning the wheel. It started off as a joke, but turned into this thing that became really important for us.”

Beyond the idea of fate and purpose, there are some other complex and deeply personal themes on this record. The yearning, tragedy-laced carry on for you—undoubtedly one of the saddest, most beautiful songs on the record—was written after Devin and Andrew lost their uncle to pancreatic cancer, while a number of the other songs detail Devin’s struggle with a condition called intracranial hypertension that’s caused as a result of too much fluid in the brain.

“It made me very familiar with the hospital,” says Devin. “I was hospitalized for months on end and that lasted for about two years of my life. So a lot of this record is about that. I don't deal with the chronic pain that I had from that anymore, and some would say the condition is in remission, but it's really hard for me to listen to some of these songs—truly—because there were a lot of moments writing this record where I didn't want to be alive. That's really hard for me to admit, because I'm not that person who talks about this stuff openly. I talk about it through our music—my traumas come out through my artistic expression. So listening to the record really gets emotional for me, because I'm not in the same place I once was. I'm super grateful to not be in all that pain.”

It all combines to make a record that’s as cerebral as it is visceral, as vulnerable as it is powerful, and as pure as anything I See Stars have made in their almost two-decade long career. After a long time in stasis, it’s clear to hear just how rejuvenated and refreshed they are, even as final track Curtain Call speeds off into the distance. That song is, as Devin calls it, “a wheel of emotion”, and ends with a question (well, two) repeated over and over again: ‘Will you ever love? Will you ever love me?’ “'Curtain Call' is tapping on every fucking thing we talked about on the whole record in one song,” says Devin. “It's almost like the wheel spinning in song form—it keeps turning round and is just racing through time and emotions. And the question we ask at the end of the song has a lot to do with the band. Will I ever be enough as an artist? Will the fans ever see us for everything we've put into this, which essentially at this point is our entire lives?”

Even just one listen to this record and it’s pretty clear that the answer to both those questions is a resounding yes.

Wind Walkers Release New EP 'I Don't Belong Here' + Share "Hereditary" Official Visualizer via Fearless Records

Genre-blending metalcore outfit Wind Walkers have today released their new EP 'I Don't Belong Here' (via Fearless Records), the band's latest body of work since their 2023 sophomore album 'What If I Break?'. In celebration of the news, the quintet has shared the official visualizer for their track "Hereditary". When asked about the inspiration behind the song, vocalist Trevor Borg commented:

"This song comes from some of my earliest memories of watching someone I loved change in ways I couldn’t understand. As a kid, you don’t have the power to fix it, you just kind of absorb it. The “shapeshifting” spoken of in the lyrics is about the ways people hide their pain, how they put on new faces to survive, and how that loss of self can be passed down. I wrote it to process how trauma can echo through generations. It’s a very personal song to me, but I think a lot of people know what it’s like to grow up in the shadow of someone else’s suffering and to feel that weight shape who you’ve become."

'I Don't Belong Here' is available now on all streaming platforms at the link here. Watch the official "Hereditary" visualizer below, and stay tuned for more Wind Walkers news coming soon.

Paleface Swiss & Stick To Your Guns Drop Searing Picasso-Inspired Track "Instrument of War"

After tearing through a sold-out U.S. tour that moved over 35,000 tickets earlier this year, Switzerland’s heaviest export Paleface Swiss reunite with tour mates, Stick To Your Guns for the release of brand new banger, “Instrument of War”, a fierce, unflinching anthem born in green rooms and tour buses, now fully realized as both a sonic statement and a rallying cry. Watch the official music video Below and stream the track HERE.

Written mid-tour during rare moments of quiet, the song captures the visceral connection between Stick To Your Guns vocalist, Jesse Barnett and Paleface Swiss frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger, who bonded over shared convictions, distorted guitars, and the Pablo Picasso quote that gave the track its name. “No, painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war,” the quote begins—“for attack and defense against the enemy.” That sentiment—art as weapon, art as armor—became the foundation for both the track and its video, directed by artistic director and co-manager Kriss Jakob, and produced by co-manager Marco Bayati with a crushing final mix from longtime collaborator Florent Salfati (Landmvrks).

In a joint statement, Zelli and Jesse share

“No, painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war for attack and defense against the enemy. I felt like we both relate to this. Our music isn’t just some shit to put on in the background. It’s something real that comes from a real place and it’s meant to attack the things that divide us and defend all the things that bring us together.”

In keeping with the ethos of the track's inspiration, 100% of proceeds fromInstrument of Warwill be donated to Doctors Without Borders, supporting their emergency medical work in conflict zones around the world. A limited edition Instrument of War charity shirt is also available now at Palefaceswiss.com, with all profits going directly to the organization.

Zelli and Jesse continue

“Paleface Swiss has generally avoided taking explicit political positions—especially given how complex things are today. But Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides care to people affected by conflict, disease outbreaks, natural and human-made disasters, and mental health crises. That kind of direct, human-first action is something we deeply respect.”

“That said, both Stick To Your Guns and Paleface Swiss share clear values. As we mentioned, we stand for what’s right—whether that means supporting mental health (a core focus for Paleface Swiss) or speaking out against oppression and violence. For those who know our bands, this song already carries those messages. That’s why it felt like the right vehicle for something bigger—and why it made sense to use it to give back.”

Known for their incomparable live performances and fearless approach to intense and vulnerable topics, Paleface Swiss has built a reputation as one of the most vital, unfiltered, and rapidly rising forces in the world of modern metal today. With their latest album, Cursed, Paleface Swiss took listeners into their darkest, most intricate, and artistically diverse chapter yet, combining their trademark Nu-Core heaviness with raw vulnerability, a rare and special combination for a band within their genre. The album charted at #17 globally on Spotify, #3 in the U.S., and #1 in the UK—quickly followed by Cursed: The Complete Edition.

The album's success kicked off a year of career-defining momentum for Paleface Swiss that included back-to-back sellout tours across Europe & the UK, North America, multiple festival performances and their first ever tour of Australia. Refusing to rest on their laurels, Paleface Swiss will begin 2026 with their biggest tour of Europe and the UK yet and will be heading back to the US in May to play Sonic Temple Festival.

Whether “Instrument of War” makes its way into the Paleface Swiss live set at their upcoming shows remains to be seen, but with Stick To Your Guns and Static Dress joining them across Europe and the UK next year, every night promises to be a masterclass in the future of modern metal.

To date, the band have amassed over 110 million streams, 21 million YouTube views, with their Spotify Monthly listeners recently peaking at over 1 million. Their recent, sold-out Cursed Tour across Europe, the UK, and North America sold over 60,000 tickets.

FACE YOURSELF Drop New Single "Wet Dreams"; New EP 'Fury' Out Now Via Sumerian Records.

Transcontinental deathcore force Face Yourself have released their highly anticipated EP Fury via Sumerian Records, alongside the official music video for new single "Wet Dreams." The five-track collection represents the band's most mature and technically accomplished work to date, building on the foundation established by their breakthrough Martyr EP earlier this year. Watch "Wet Dreams" Below and stream Fury HERE.

The Fury EP is the band's second EP released via Sumerian Records and showcases Face Yourself's evolution from deathcore upstarts to a force capable of weaving technical death metal complexity with their signature emotional brutality. Produced once again by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada), the EP captures a band hitting their stride both sonically and thematically, exploring anger through multiple lenses while maintaining the raw vulnerability that has connected with fans worldwide.

Speaking on the EP release, vocalist Yasmine Liverneaux shares:

"We are excited to release our new record Fury via Sumerian records, and produced by Joey Sturgis. We tried to bolster a more mature sound with the use of elevated musicianship, implementing more death metal sensibilities this time around.

"Fury showcases anger with a broader spectrum that includes fast technical riffs, melodically gloomy phrases, and more varied instrumentation throughout. This EP is a continuation of Martyr, as we wrote both EPs at the same period. We really hope the audience will enjoy this record as much as we do, and we can't wait to play some of these songs live on our next tour with Signs of Swarm, Mental Cruelty, Ten56 and Carcosa!"

The "Wet Dreams" music video serves as a visual representation of the EP's darker themes, while the track itself demonstrates the band's expanded sonic palette. From the crushing opener through the previously released singles "Fractures" and "Ov Agony," Fury delivers five distinct expressions of controlled chaos, each showcasing different facets of the band's evolved sound.

Following the EP release, Face Yourself will join Signs of the Swarm's North American tour this October, alongside Mental Cruelty, Ten56., and Carcosa. The month-long trek kicks off October 2nd in Montreal and hits major markets across the U.S. and Canada, giving fans their first chance to experience Fury material in a live setting. The Pretty Wild Announce New Album 'zero.point.genesis' out November 21 via Sumerian Records + Drop "PARADOX" Official Video

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild have announced their debut album, 'zero.point.genesis' out November 21 via Sumerian Records. The forthcoming full-length includes previously released fan-favorite tracks "OMENS", "Button Eyes", "living ded", and the smash-hit "sLeepwALKeR" will be available as a physical bonus track. Altogether, the tracks have already amassed a staggering 20 million streams on Spotify alone and nearly 3.3 million views and counting on YouTube. In celebration of the news, the sisters have released a new track from the album "PARADOX" and the accompanying official video. When asked about the album, the band shared:

"'zero.point.genesis' is an album of collapse and resurrection, mythic, yet memeable in its rawness. For me, it’s about battling and ultimately healing the fake ego structures forged in trauma that kept me small, erasing my feminine gifts to fall in line. It’s crawling through the haunted shadow void society is too afraid to face, and emerging closer to my core essence through reclamation of those feminine gifts." -JYL

"This record is layered with multiple dimensions of interpretation; the more you listen, the further you traverse through them with us. We pushed into concepts that once felt untouchable to us, we set external input aside, and wrote them anyway. It’s an album of poetic contrasts, brutally heavy moments, with haunting instrumentation and flayed open lyrics. Woven throughout are nods to our personal interests, theatrical elements, classical composition, and moments of rage and playfulness." – JULES

Pre-order 'zero.point.genesis' here, stream "PARADOX" here and watch the official video below.

After a momentous summer tearing up the stage on the Hell Hath No Fury Tour while making their Welcome To Rockville and Inkcarceration debuts, The Pretty Wild will next hit the road with Set It Off, Fame On Fire and VANA beginning Tuesday, October 28 in Atlanta, Georgia. The EP's release is highlighted by a confrontational new music video for "Do You Think I'm A Whore? XXV," showcasing Kittie's unflinching approach to re-examining their most provocative material with two and a half decades of artistic growth. Watch the music video below.

Speaking on today's release, Kittie vocalist and guitarist, Morgan Lander shares

"We’re beyond excited to revisit and reimagine songs that that started it all for us with Spit XXV. Re-recording these songs has been an emotional and empowering journey. It’s a chance to honour our roots while bringing a new level of energy and experience to the music. Spit XXV isn’t just a celebration of where we came from, but a thank-you to the fans who have stood by us for the past 25 years.

""Do You Think I’m A Whore?" has always been the dark horse of our debut album and it is was such a pleasure to give it the updated treatment and celebrate how awesome of a song it really is. Pair that with the unbelievable music video visuals from William Felch at Wombat Fire and it’s clear the track is finally getting its flowers."

"Do You Think I'm A Whore? XXV" demonstrates how Kittie's musical evolution has only intensified the song's emotional impact. Originally one of the most visceral moments on their gold-certified debut, the re-recorded version channels decades of artistic growth while maintaining the raw vulnerability that made the original so powerful.

The Spit XXV EP represents more than nostalgic reflection—it's proof of the original album's enduring relevance. Rolling Stone ranked the title track #82 on their "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Songs of All Time" in 2023, while artists like Serena Cherry of Svalbard continue crediting the album as formative to their musical development.

SPIT XXV arrives during Kittie's most successful era in over a decade. Their 2024 comeback album Fire shattered expectations, reaching #13 on UK Rock & Metal Albums charts and earning a 2025 Juno Award nomination for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year. With 920,000 monthly Spotify listeners spanning multiple generations and triumphant festival performances at Sick New World, Welcome to Rockville, and Sonic Temple, Kittie has proven their relevance extends far beyond nostalgia into contemporary dominance. The band's ability to command stages and attract new audiences through social media demonstrates that their revolutionary spirit burns as fiercely as ever.

Kittie will bring the Spit XXV celebration to major festival stages this fall, performing at Louder Than Life this weekend and Aftershock Festival next month. Fans attending Louder Than Life this weekend can also catch Morgan and Mercedes Lander DJ at Blood Rave - an official LTL after-party - this evening. More Information can be found HERE.

The Spit XXV EP is proof of Spit's lasting relevance and Kittie's evolution as artists. Twenty-five years after four teenagers from Ontario redefined who belonged in heavy music's most aggressive spaces, Kittie continue creating pathways for others while cementing their legacy as genuine pioneers.

ABOUT KITTIE

When you discovered Canadian heavy music pioneers Kittie has a direct influence on how you see them. For those on board from the beginning with Spit in 2000, Kittie was part of nu-metal's explosive rise. Through later albums including Oracle (2001), In The Black (2009), and I've Failed You (2011), the band evolved into something far more sinister, viewed as a serious metal outfit. After a prolonged hiatus broken only by a 2017 hometown show and 2018's documentary Kittie: Origins/Evolutions, the band returned in 2022 following festival offers including Sick New World.

12.6 million career streams later, vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander, drummer/backing vocalist Mercedes Lander, guitarist Tara McLeod, and bassist Ivy Vujic maintain that Kittie never broke up because it remains ingrained in their identity. Their 2024 album Fire, produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains), marked their triumphant return with renewed fury and unfathomable sonic brutality. As Kittie now pay homage to their past whilst also bringing it firmly into the present day, with the new Spit XXV EP, the new era of Kittie continues to blaze forth, illuminating the way as they take their rightful place as torchbearers for heavy music.

ABOUT WE CAME AS ROMANS

We Came As Romans continue to progress and evolve at lightspeed, maintaining a place at the forefront of heavy music and culture. Never content to follow, they seamlessly alchemize crushing groove-driven catharsis, spacey electronics, and arena-size singalongs into a sound that refuses to sit still—effortlessly moving between metal, alternative, metalcore, and rock.

The Michigan-born five-piece—Dave Stephens, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton, Andy Glass, and David Puckett—first broke through with Tracing Back Roots (2013), which cracked the Billboard 200 Top 10 and hit #1 on both the Independent Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Their self-titled 2015 album followed, debuting at #11 on the Billboard 200, cementing their status as modern metalcore royalty.

Following the tragic loss of original vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018, the band has continued to honor his legacy with their 2022 album, Darkbloom, their highest-praised record to date. Kerrang! awarded it 4 out of 5 stars, calling it "a carrier for a knot of emotion, and a tribute to their friend." It featured career-defining tracks like "Black Hole" (ft. Caleb Shomo), now over 102 million Spotify streams, and "Daggers" (ft. Zero 9:36), which surpassed 32 million streams. Media outlets including Loudwire and Consequence praised the album for its emotional range, sonic heft, and unapologetic vulnerability.

Now, with 'ALL IS BEAUTIFUL...BECAUSE WE'RE DOOMED,' the band enters their most ambitious chapter yet—scarred, sharpened, and more fearless than ever.

I See Stars Release New Album 'THE WHEEL' & Drop New Music Video "carry on for you" via Sumerian Records

Electronic hardcore pioneers I See Stars have released their new album 'THE WHEEL' via Sumerian Records. The full-length is the band's latest body of music since their smash-hit 2016 album, 'Treehouse'. In celebration of the news, the quartet has released the official music video for the poignant track "carry on for you". Speaking about the album, the band shared:

"The last time we spent this much time on a record was our debut album, '3D'. 'The Wheel' is a time capsule capturing the past seven years of our lives. It’s a culmination of everything we’ve experienced individually, together, and as human beings navigating the chaos of the world. We truly poured everything into it & we are so excited to finally share it with our fans."

I See Stars fans across Australia and Asia will soon have their chance to see the band on the road, followed up by a performance at Vans Warped Tour Orlando in November. 'THE WHEEL' is available now on all streaming platforms at the link here. Watch "carry on for youbelow, and be sure to stay tuned for more I See Stars news coming soon.
