Morgan Wallen Celebrates U.K. No. 1 Album w/ Intimate London Set

Performing to just 2,000 fans in an intimate set with tickets claimed in less than a minute upon entry, Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem album release show at The Roundhouse in London on May 28 rounded out a historic week that saw Wallen attain his first U.K. No. 1 debut on the Official Charts.

Playing center-stage in a stripped-back set with his guitar – which Holler remarked as "spellbinding," while Entertainment Focus opined the superstar is “at the top of his game” – Wallen’s 19-song setlist included 12 songs hailing from I’m The Problem, kicking off with the title track, which recently became his 18th No. 1 at Country radio. From there, Wallen delved into live debuts of story song “20 Cigarettes,” the Billboard-dubbed “confessional” “Eyes Are Closed” and his reigning Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, “What I Want.”

Performing an early release from the album, “Superman,” Wallen shared the heartfelt story behind the song he penned for his son: “I’ve been trying pretty much ever since he was born to write a song that was good enough to dedicate to him. I probably wrote 30 songs that weren’t good enough, so we scratched them. Right before we were getting ready to turn in this record, we started writing this song. Usually once we write a song, I’ll get Charlie to send me the demo so I can listen to it on my way home. He sent this to me…The very first time I heard it back after writing it, I just broke down and was crying. And that’s the first time I had done that writing a song for my little boy. I figured if it touched me that way, hopefully it would touch a lot of you guys the same way.”

Sprinkled throughout the set were multi-platinum hits from his previous two albums, Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time, including Platinum-certified “Cowgirls;” 2x-Platinum “Sand In My Boots,” 4x-Platinum “Cover Me Up;” 6x-Platinum “More Than My Hometown;” and 9x-Platinum “Whiskey Glasses.” Wallen concluded the night with his 7x-Platinum, 16 week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, “Last Night.”

Taking in the magnitude of his growing international fanbase, Wallen thanked his fans, stating “We've been trying to make a connection with you guys, and this is by no means a measure of all successes, but I think it says a lot; whenever I dropped One Thing At A Time, it debuted at No. 40 over here. I just dropped I'm the Problem, and thanks to you guys, it debuted at No. 1. I really appreciate every single one of y'all. With a second stop added in Madison, Wisconsin, Wallen’s appearances will mark the first time an artist has played two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as first-of-three across select dates. Coupled with May’s Sand In My Boots Festival and a special one-night-only album release celebration show at Roundhouse in London in May, these 22 shows are the only place to see the superstar in 2025.

Morgan Wallen Claims No. 1 Spot on Billboard 200 and Hot 100

With Billboard calling him “one of the biggest stars in the music world right now” and The New Yorker adding “[he’s] popular on a scale that seems to circumvent genre entirely” on the heels of his fourth studio album release, Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem further solidifies his standing, debuting today at No. 1 globally across seven countries.

In the U.S., Wallen broke his own record for most simultaneous entries in Billboard Hot 100 history, with all 37 songs off the album charting. He also currently occupies the No. 1, 2 and 3 slots simultaneously with his duet with Tate McRae “What I Want,” “Just In Case,” and the title track “I’m The Problem,” respectively – becoming the first country artist ever to do so.

I’m The Problem became Wallen’s first No. 1 debut on the U.K.’s Official Charts, as Wallen joins a small group of elite artists including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Post Malone and Beyonce as the only artists in U.K. chart history to debut No. 1 with a country album. Dubbed a “self-examining storytelling extravaganza” by Billboard, I’m The Problem features 37 tracks, and combines Wallen’s country, cross and dirt-rock influences, underscored by collaborations with pop superstars Post Malone and Tate McRae, plus close friends Eric Church, ERNEST and HARDY. Wallen Celebrates Album Release at Multi-Genre Inaugural SAND IN MY BOOTS FESTIVAL

On the heels of his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, becoming the most-streamed country album of the year so far on Apple, Spotify and Amazon within hours of its release on Friday (May 16), Wallen debuted seven of the albums’ tracks live for the first time last night in Gulf Shores, Alabama for his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival.

With an entire news vertical from Gulf Coast Media Group dedicated to the sold-out, multi-genre festival, curated by Wallen and produced by AEG Presents, the weekend featured an eclectic mix of more than 30 of his favorite artists and inspirations, including Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, The War On Drugs, T-Pain, Three 6 Mafia and more. Wallen concluded the festival, his first show of 2025, with a 23-song setlist, taking the stage on the final night with his signature “Broadway Girls” walk out.

“Me and a couple of my closest friends and teammates, we’ve been throwing the idea of doing a festival around for a long time now, and we just happened to run into the right partner and the right people to work with. With a lot of hard work, and a lot of really great artists to come out here, we got to make that happen,” Wallen stated, as 40,000 fans flanked the 1980s-inspired 160 feet wide by 70 feet tall stage, a fully custom build designed by Clio Award-winning studio Raw Cereal and marking their largest festival build to date. “We’ll try to do it again sometime,” he grinned, before diving into the rest of his setlist.

From there, Wallen toggled between certified hits, while testing the waters with live debuts of title track “I’m The Problem;” the Grammy.com-praised “deceptively smooth-sounding” “Kick Myself;” “Don’t We,” declared an “arena-ready track” by Billboard; “I’m A Little Crazy,” noted as “a gorgeous paranoiac ballad” by Washington Post; “I Got Better;” “Superman” and “Just In Case.”

Bailey Zimmerman and ERNEST each joined Wallen on-stage halfway through his set, the former to perform Wallen’s 5x-Platinum hit “Up Down,” hailing from his debut album If I Know Me; the latter joining for the duo’s Platinum-certified “Cowgirls” off One Thing At A Time.

Concluding the night with his breakthrough 2018 hit, “The Way I Talk,” Wallen thanked his fans for their continued support, “Thank each and every one of you guys for making this possible… for supporting me, for supporting my new album. I love each and every one of y’all!”

Morgan Wallen’s Final Release, “Superman,” Ahead of I’M THE PROBLEM

With one week remaining until the release of his full-length, fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, Morgan Wallen is offering fans one final taste of the upcoming project with the release of the highly-anticipated song dedicated to his son, “Superman,” available now. Listen Below.

Wallen originally teased the up-tempo ballad, which he co-wrote alongside Ryan Vojtesak, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass and James Maddocks, on Instagram in February. The clip instantly drew excitement from fans, with Billboard praising its “self-aware lyrics.”

Wallen opened up about the song on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend stating, “I've tried so many times to write a song like that for him, and it always fell flat. I also didn't want to write a song to him that was all sappy and slow, and just what you would expect a dad's son song to be. That song has been written plenty enough and I wanted it to keep a little bit of my sound and my swag and just to be honest. And I feel like we accomplished that when we wrote it.”

Morgan Wallen returns to London following his record breaking 2024 Hyde Park headlining set for an intimate show at the Roundhouse. The one-night-only show is Wallen’s only show outside of North America for 2025 and will take place at Camden’s Roundhouse on Wednesday 28th May, celebrating the release of his latest album I’m The Problem.

Morgan Wallen’s Roisterous Return to SNL

Live from New York, Morgan Wallen returned to NBC’s Saturday Night Live last night (3/29/25) to perform two new songs from his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, arriving Friday, May 16, 2025.

Host and Oscar winner Mikey Madison first introduced Wallen for “I’m The Problem.” Strumming his Martin J40 guitar center stage, Wallen took to the iconic 30 Rock set with an evidence board filled by personal images of the superstar dating back to 2018, as Mark “Taco” Annino on drums set atop a vintage desk riser flanked by his touring band Luke Rice on bass; Dominic Frost on guitar and vocals; Tyler Tomlinson on guitar; Chris Gladden on keys; and Tony Aichele on acoustic guitar.

Morgan Wallen Releases Title Track to 4th Studio Album: “I’m The Problem”

With two No. 1 singles already hailing off his highly-anticipated upcoming fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, two-time 2025 GRAMMY nominee Morgan Wallen releases the title track today. “I’m The Problem” is available everywhere now, listen HERE.

“I’m The Problem” was written by Wallen, Ernest Keith Smith, Ryan Vojtesak, Grady Block and Jamie McLaughlin, and produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome. After concluding two years on the road touring his third studio album with his record-setting One Night At A Time tour, 15-time Billboard Music Awards winner Morgan Wallen has doubled down in the studio setting up his next era. Today, to commemorate Friday’s (10/18) release of “Love Somebody” and his homecoming shows in Knoxville in September – which became the largest weekend on-record for the city with 156,161 fans in attendance – Wallen releases his “Love Somebody (Live from Neyland Stadium)” music video. Directed by David Lehr & David Forehand and co-directed by Global Extreme, “Love Somebody (Live from Neyland Stadium)” was filmed Sept. 22 on the second of two nights at University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium. Wallen became only the fourth artist ever to play the venue, which is the sixth largest college football stadium in the U.S., and surpassed the attendance record previously held by The Jackson 5 across three shows in 1984 (148,407).

As East Tennessean Morgan Wallen concluded his two-show-run at Neyland Stadium – the sixth largest college football stadium in the U.S. – the current 7-time CMA Award nominee made history with Knoxville’s largest weekend on-record, totalling 156,161 fans across both nights. The tally surpasses the record previously held by The Jackson 5 across three shows in 1984 (148,407).

Two-time Super Bowl champion and former University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) quarterback Peyton Manning joined for the second-of-two weekend walkouts, donning his retired college uniform – flanked by current UTK football coach Josh Heupel, quarterback Nico Iamaleava and wide receiver Bru McCoy – as their alma mater eagerly welcomed the All Vols walk-out back on their turf.

Transferring to a more intimate B-Stage toward the back of the venue for a stripped down performance of his 4x-Platinum rendition of Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up,” Wallen reflected on his career, which was first fostered in local bars throughout Knoxville, saying, “When me and the boys first started playing shows, we started out playing bars, real small venues. Worked our way up to places like Cotton Eyed Joe. Then we worked our way up to clubs, theaters, arenas and amphitheaters – we pretty much played any kind of venue there is, and all of a sudden you guys went and sold out Neyland today. Thank you.

“One thing that I miss though about the smaller shows is I could walk out on stage and I could look pretty much everybody in the eyes, so this is my attempt at trying to recreate some of that. To come back here and look some more of y’all in the eyes and say thank you for supporting me and my music.”

After “Cover Me Up,” Wallen welcomed his first-of-two surprise guests of the evening, Miranda Lambert, for a live performance of the No. 1 “Thought You Should Know,” which Lambert co-wrote alongside Wallen and Nicolle Galyon. Introducing Lambert to the audience, the East Tennessean shared, “Me and this next artist, we got together one day and wrote a few songs, and this is the first song we ever wrote. I brought this song into the room and I needed some help from a lady’s perspective to help me write a song for my mama.”

Returning to the main stage, Wallen once again welcomed HARDY and ERNEST for “Up Down” and “Cowgirls,” respectively, before singing cuts off of Dangerous: The Double Album, including “Talkin' Tennessee,” an homage to his roots which was added to his setlist only for his Neyland Stadium shows.

Two songs before the encore, three-time GRAMMY-Award-winner Darius Rucker surprised the crowd joining Wallen for a joint performance of his Diamond-certified rendition of “Wagon Wheel” to rousing reception.

On Friday, Sept. 20, Wallen made his first weekend walk-out flanked by the 2024 National Champion Tennessee Volunteers baseball team and Coach Tony Vitello – trophy in hand. Later in the evening, Wallen welcomed the first entertainer he ever saw in concert in his hometown, Eric Church, to his acoustic stage for the Dangerous Church-penned cut “Quittin’ Time,” before being joined by HARDY and ERNEST for “Up Down” and “Flower Shops”/“Cowgirls,” respectively, back on the main stage.

In anticipation of the run, The Morgan Wallen Foundation donated $140k to Gibbs Youth Sports (GYS) Friday, Sept. 20 during a press conference held at Neyland Stadium. The donation will go toward renovating Ruritan Park, which serves students from Gibbs High School, where Wallen attended, and surrounding areas in Knox County, allowing GYS to rebuild the inside of the fieldhouse to offer indoor fielding and batting options for local recreation teams. Renovations include batting cages and machines, as well as pitching lanes and a fielding area. Currently there are no facilities like that in the Gibbs/Corryton area.

Morgan Wallen at Neyland: National Champions+Eric Church Create Memorable Nt. 1

With “Welcome Home Morgan” signs and neon displays installed across the city in hotel lobbies, restaurants and bars, the anticipation of Morgan Wallen’s two nights at Neyland Stadium was palpable across Knoxville the days leading up to his homecoming. The East Tennessean matched their excitement from the jump as he charged down the gauntlet making his first-of-two weekend walk-outs flanked by the 2024 National Champion Tennessee Volunteers baseball team and Coach Tony Vitello – trophy in hand. Registering 114 decibels, the crowd of 70,000+ enthusiastically welcomed them all home.

Fans showed up early on Friday, Sept. 20 as gates opened at 4:30 pm, many donning orange and white, filling in both pits lining Wallen’s signature “MW” stage backed into the endzone.

The current 7-time CMA Award nominee opened his 26-song set with upbeat “Ain’t That Some” and “I Wrote The Book” before stating how monumental this weekend is for him.

After pausing to take the moment in, Wallen shared, “I really appreciate that warm welcome, that means a lot to me. The last time I was in this stadium I was watching Tennessee kick Alabama’s ass. I can't think of a better way to follow it up than to be here playing two sold-out shows this weekend. This is one of the most special days of my entire life and I’m very glad you guys chose to spend this weekend here with me – it means a lot.

“Before we get any further I want to make sure you make some noise for my band and crew who show up here early in advance to make sure we get to play the music y’all love. I have a lot of people here who mean a lot to me,” he added. “I’ve got my little boy here, both my grandmothers here, my mom, my dad, my sisters, my nieces. I have been very fortunate to do a lot of great things over the last few years, but I know that this right here is going to be extremely hard to top as one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to do. We’re gonna play a lot of songs tonight, I threw in a couple extra songs that I don’t normally play. I didn’t even ask about the curfew, so we’re just gonna play as long as we want to tonight.”

Wallen once again added his unreleased song “Love Somebody” to the setlist for the night, revealing its release date to fans from the stage. Pre-save “Love Somebody,” out Friday, Oct. 18, HERE. A Bixby, Oklahoma native now based in Dallas, the proud husband and father has become a decorated artist on the rise, growing from humble heartland roots into a Platinum certified Number One hit maker with 940 million career streams, and a black bandana on his neck. But today, that Black Bandana is more than an accessory – and not just the name of his sophomore major-label album. It’s his rally cry.

“It started from riding motorcycles and wanting something over your face so you didn’t swallow a bug,” the singer-songwriter says. “But then it turned into a staple I wear on stage, and then a symbol of the path through my career, and life. Through all the ups and downs, the one constant thing was this relentless hope – this relentless pursuit of believing that if I don’t give up, I can get where I’m going.”

With a self-built story that has seen success and disaster, keeping that belief wasn’t always easy – but it’s been paying off. Rising from the vibrant Red Dirt country scene as the embodiment of authenticity, Kent set his sights on Nashville as a teen, bringing his self-penned catalog of country-rock anthems with him. But after the pandemic coincided with the loss of his first publishing deal, Kent was forced to move to Texas and get a job on a paving crew to pay the bills, yet he stubbornly refused to call music quits. Honky-tonks and dancehalls on both sides of the Red River became his stomping ground, and slowly but surely, the black bandana spirit grew.

Fast forward a few years and the hit single “Wild As Her” proved he was right all along. An untamed tribute to a free-spirited stunner, the track re-invigorated Kent’s career as a Platinum-certified No. 1 at country radio, and the lead single off his major label album debut, Blacktop. And while momentum kept building, with Kent hitting the road alongside Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum and more, the mainstream moved to claim they knew it all along. Next-big-thing accolades came in from CMT, Opry Next Stage and more, but even as Kent became the most played new artist on country radio for all of 2023, he kept the underdog, who-cares-about-conventional-wisdom mentality. And so did his fans.

For Kent, the point was that his fans have the same independent spirit he does, and he took that lesson into his next chapter. Settled into his ranch in Texas and intent on being fully present as husband and father, while also achieving his dreams, his second album is all about finding balance, keeping clear eyes on what’s important – and waving that Black Bandana for all to see.

Co-writing six of Black Bandana’s 10 songs, what Kent ultimately wanted was to mix themes of integrity, resilience and family with a sonic setting befitting the mission. Finding the midway point between cinematic electric guitars and heart-pounding drums meet a warm, gravel-road rasp, as Kent brings classic rock into the present tense.

“We all face our own demons. We all face our own setbacks, and I hope this record serves as encouragement,” he says. “It would be really easy to lean on the past and go ‘Look at what I’ve done,’ but I’m still excited about the records I’ve yet to create. I’m excited about the shows I haven’t played yet. I’m excited about unlocking new levels of my craft, and writing more songs that people connect with deeply. …I still live for those moments.”

Morgan Wallen Adds 2nd Night at Neyland: Friday, Sept. 20

“I’m coming home,” Morgan Wallen posted Monday, announcing his East Tennessee homecoming concert at Knoxville’s Neyland Stadium on Sunday, September 22. In a video set to “Rocky Top,” millions of fans had viewed it by lunch, snatching up hotel rooms across the city in anticipation of tickets going on sale Wednesday morning. The news has been met with such fervor that the 11-time Billboard Music Award-winner has now added a second and final hometown show for Friday, September 20. Tickets go on-sale beginning Thursday, July 18 at 11am EST at MorganWallen.com.

With over 150,000 fans expected to attend across both nights, Wallen becomes the first artist in the venue’s nearly-100-year history to ever play two nights as the One Night At A Time 2024 tour stop marks the first time the country singer has returned to Knoxville on tour since headlining the Tennessee Valley Fair in 2019.

Known for his ability to capture gritty realism and the raw emotions of love and heartbreak, Brantley Gilbert’s knack for crafting poignant ballads shines on new single “Over When We’re Sober,” a powerful duet with ACM New Female Artist of the Year nominee Ashley Cooke, available now via The Valory Music Co.

“From the moment we started writing, I knew this song was something special,” reflects Gilbert. “We knew we wanted another voice on it, and my producer Brock Berryhill suggested Ashley.
