New York City Hard Rock Group Wildstreet Release New Single "Sick To Death" + Official Music Video

Following the success of III (2021), New York City hard rock group Wildstreet has released their new single "Sick To Death" along with the music video to all major platforms. The single was written with Once Around guitarist/producer Wrath Starzand features drummer Dave Abbruzzese (Pearl Jam), and Sebastian James Hadtrath (Once Around) on vocals.

Wildstreet began in 2006 and released their self-titled debut album on Retrospect Records in 2009. The band spent the next 4 years touring nonstop and performing at US festivals including: Rocklahoma (5 consecutive years), SXSW & M3 Rock Festival. Wildstreet rocked alongside Black Veil Brides, Vains of Jenna, The Bouncing Souls, The Last Vegas, Twisted Sister, Michael Monroe, Crashdiet, Diemonds, Kix, LA Guns and more. The band won the Best Buy/Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands for Rockstar Energy’s Uproar Festival, and opened for Avenged Sevenfold, Sevendust and Three Days Grace in Camden, NJ.

In 2011, the band released Wildstreet II..Faster..Louder! to widespread critical acclaim. They made an appearance on “The Jimmy Fallon Show” and their songs were licensed to TV shows on E!, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, TBS and in a THQ video game. Later that year, the band released the official music video for “Poison Kiss,”which included a cameo by Don Jameson of “The Metal Show.” Wildstreet now had the attention of rock fans worldwide. In 2012, the band released the single “Easy Does It,” and it’s official music video. The video went viral on YouTube. Wildstreet has well-over 6 million views and nearly 10k subscribers on that platform.

FARAH NAZ has lassoed the sensual tones of her Eastern heritage by combining her melodic vocals with the adrenalized energy of Western hard rock. The resonant depth of the EAST & the driving edginess of the WEST have fused seamlessly in her songs.

Born in Pakistan, raised in a suburban town in Texas, and having lived in the antiquated romance of the UK for over a decade, Naz's life is a blend of rich cultures, dark moments, and revealing stories. The darkness of some extremely soul-mangling childhood events coupled with the richness of culturally diverse experiences have given Naz a powerful and unique 'voice'.

Naz grew up with a father who is an accomplished sitar player. And throughout her childhood, greats like Ravi Shankar and others of his caliber regularly frequented their home for music gatherings. Alongside this wealthy backdrop of eastern music, her British and American cousins sent her western records from abroad. This audial infusion of east and west cadences in her early years has allowed her to forge an undeniably distinctive signature as a songwriter.

After moving to the States at the age of 10, she began performing at youth rallies, in school musicals, and other large-scale events and festivals. Tony West was raised in the Bronx on Ramones, Bad Brains, and NYHC. Hearing the call of the wild west, Tony made his way to Los Angeles at 19 years old. He initially collaborated with guitarist Todd Youth (Murphy’s Law/Danzig) and Malfunkshun, which was kept active by Andy Wood’s brother Kevin Wood.

Tony took a break from L.A. to try out Memphis in 1998. While he was there, he attended the first Saliva gig with Paul Crosby on drums. This historic event marked the beginning of a lifelong friendship between Paul and Tony, ultimately leading to a management collaboration and Paul joining Blacklist Union. In addition, Tony recorded with Saliva and Jon E. Love (Love/Hate) in 2014.

Tony decided to go in his own direction in 2006. With a shamanistic blend of Stone Temple Pilots, G N’ R, Malfunkshun, and Mother Love Bone... Blacklist Union was born.

Blacklist Union have released four albums to date and are putting the finishing touches on their upcoming release Letters from the Psych Ward. The first single and video for “The Queen of Everything” is out now.

"We are very selective on the music we like to cover and this one hit home with us. We pursued this track because not only is it a rock anthem, but it holds a bit of nostalgia for the band. My father is a musician and I grew up watching his band on stage over the years with my jaw on the floor, just awestruck as a kid. He would cover lots of tracks but I always loved when he did Billy Idol. TAPROOT ANNOUNCE RELEASE OF NEW STUDIO ALBUM SC\SSRS, MACHINE SHOP ALBUM RELEASE

Michigan Hard Rock Mainstays TAPROOT have announced the release date for their upcoming 7th studio album SC\SSRS, the first since 2012’s The Episodes, set to hit stores September 29th via THC MUSIC/Amplified Distribution. Produced by guitarist/vocalist Stephen Richards at The Loft in Saline, MI, SC\SSRS is the musical brainchild of Richards, recorded and written over the last decade, first as material for a new Taproot album, then with the intention of a solo release, before coming full circle back to Taproot.

Says Richards, “I had written most of this record to be the next Taproot release years ago, following The Episodes, when some health and other issues arose, we decided to take a break that turned into a longer than anticipated hiatus. After my mother's passing, I decided I needed to record these songs and share them with friends and fans that were interested in hearing what was next. I've spent the last 6 years doing as much as I could around my personal life to make it happen, and after all of the hard work, the other guys jumped behind me to support and we decided to get it out there and release what IS the new Taproot record SC\SSRS.”

Bassist Phil Lipscomb adds, “Steve had all these great songs recorded that he'd originally written for the next Taproot record that he was planning to just release independently as part of his solo project, but we started talking, and I encouraged him that we should just do it as a Taproot record and pay it the respect that it deserves. And that's exactly what we did.”

Taproot formed in 1997 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and went on to sign to Atlantic Records, releasing their Ulrich Wild (Static-X, Pantera, Mindless Self Indulgence) produced debut album GIFT in 2000, followed by extensive touring including appearances on Ozzfest 2000 and 2001, and tours with Deftones, Incubus, Papa Roach, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Disturbed, and Linkin Park.

Sleep Signals have announced THE SINKING SHIPS TOUR: PART I & II, which begins February 15th in El Paso, TX at Sun City Bar & Event Center and concludes on May 14th. The tour is in support of the band's new single "One Life" that releases to all major platforms on February 17, 2023.

Resiliency. The trials we face in life define who we are. Sleep Signals has been no stranger to adversity throughout their career, having dealt with a plethora of misfortunes culminating with a devastating bus wreck in 2021. During a tour with POD and From Ashes To New, the band’s bus was hit by a semi truck, destroying all of their equipment and causing severe injuries to several members. But through all of the setbacks, the band has remained dedicated to sharing their story and bringing their unique perspective to the rock/metal genre.

Blending their ability to create strong hooks with their high-energy song-writing style, the band manages to meld influences ranging from pop to hardcore, creating a soundscape that leads the listener on a journey filled with raw emotion. When you hear a song, you feel the song.

After an extended hiatus in 2021, the band returned to the stage in late 2022 and immediately began selling out shows across the Pacific Northwest. In 2023, the band was back in full force, touring nationally supporting the release of a new single, “One Life.” The single is heavily influenced by the challenges the group most recently experienced and follows up the band’s 2020 radio single, “Fireproof,” that climbed the charts, landing on Sirius XM’s Octane and over 80 FM stations across the U.S.

American heavy metal band KING 810 released their new EP Follow My Tears to all major platforms on January 23, 2023 via King Nation! The band will be on a European/UK tour dubbed The Steppin’ Over Roaches Tour this spring with Alphawolf in support.

In addition, the band will be playing Bloodstock Open Air in Catton Park, Derbyshire this August!

"Over the past year I have been mentally unstable. My intentions have not been as focused as they are typically. This wasn't obvious until I reviewed the fifty songs me and Josh wrote over the recent couple years. Only then did I realize there wasn't the concept of a whole record here. Instead the songs played as smaller groups of frenzied schizophrenic fits. So it is likely we will come with several EPs over the year because of this. I don't think of it as any less of a release it just feels like the best way to deliver the songs," says David Gunn about Follow My Tears.

King 810 is an American metal band from Flint, Michigan formed in 2007. Hailing from a place infamous for its crime and poverty statistics, King 810 specialize in effusive slabs of nu-metal-infused modern hard rock with elements of experimental hip-hop and dark jazz. The band's first release was their independent EP titled Midwest Monsters in 2012, which earned them a signing with Roadrunner Records; they released their second EP titled Proem in 2014, and their Billboard-charting debut studio album Memoirs of a Murderer that same year. The following year the band would be the first metal group to collaborate with DJ Drama on a project entitled Midwest Monsters 2. The EP blended metal and rap in classic nu metal fashion and featured several hip hop artists including Grammy award winning Freddie Gibbs. In 2016 the group released their sophomore LP entitled La Petite Mort or a Conversation with God followed by an acoustic project entitled Queen. In 2018 the group would go independent for the release of their most experimental album Suicide King only to return to form with 2020’s apocalyptic AK Concerto No. 47, 11th Movement in G Major.

The drummer's 8-year-old son, Orion St. Lawrence, inspired the story & concept, and designed the building brick band characters. You can also see some of the footage he originally shot with real building brick figures projected on the screens during the guitar solo. The video was directed by Sal DelGreco, who also did all of the voice acting. The kick ass animation was done by Paul Stamper. The single is taken from their brand new album Capital Conspiracy, that released June 24th, 2022 on Mindsnap Music / Salt of the Earth Records. KINGS OF THRASH, featuring David Ellefson and Jeff Young, announced the first leg of their 2023 world tour that begins on February 16 in Joliet, Illinois at The Forge. The THRASHIN' USA tour will cross the Midwest, East Coast, and southeastern part of the USA through March 15th. Kings of Thrash will be performing the Killing Is My Business…and Business Is Good and So Far, So Good…So What albums in their entirety. KINGS OF THRASH also feature Chaz Leon on vocals and guitar and Fred Aching on drums. Hatriot will be providing support for the tour.

In addition, the band has signed a worldwide deal with Cleopatra Records and will be releasing a live CD/DVD package called Best of the West…Live at the Whisky A Go Go on March 24. The Lucid and Insane Clown Posse Vocalist Violent J Re-Imagine Faith No More's 'Epic' with 'Sweet Toof'

Eclectic hard rock band The Lucid, which features vocalist Vinnie Dombroski (Sponge), actor/guitarist Drew Fortier, bassist David Ellefson, and drummer/producer Mike Heller have once again joined forces with legendary underground rap icon Violent J (Insane Clown Posse) for a re-imagining of Faith No More's "Epic" titled "Sweet Toof".

"Sweet Toof" is the band's fourth and final single from their upcoming E.P., Saddle Up and Ride, due out digitally January 27th from SpoilerHead Records. CD, Vinyl, and signed copies are available via Limited Edition pre-order bundles that will ship at a later date.

Violent J states,

Metal band Once To Die released their new single "Regain Strength" today. The single was recorded at Hear No Evil Studio and was mastered by Sparrow Sound.

"'Regain Strength' is a song about overcoming depression and rising from the dark hell we once lived. To dig our selves out from the grave with a renewing of the mind and spirit," says the band's frontman Jey Collins.

From the chaotic depths of Southern California, 3 original members decided to resurrect the vicious beast of Once to Die. Justin Bundy, Mark Pistone (Carry us through), Jey Collins (Solus Deus) aligned with local slammers Hector Gonzalez (Phobia) and Austin D'amond (Bleed the Sky) to evolve a destructive yet harmonious sound. The design to construct an infectious blend of beautiful calamity to bury both our own and others demons under the rubble.
