CULTURA TRES Feat. SEPULTURA's PAULO XISTO PINTO JR. and JUANES Unite on “Cien”

“CIEN” releases worldwide on May 29, 2025, via ONErpm. For fans of fearless metal, Latin fusion, and socially conscious art—this is a must-listen.

CULTURA TRES, the South American metal powerhouse led by Sepultura’s Paulo XistoPinto Jr., joins forces with Latin music icon JUANES on a daring new collaboration: “Cien,” set for release May 29, 2025, through ONErpm.

A seismic blend of thrash, grunge, and Colombian folklore, “Cien” evokes the spirit of ‘90s metal while honoring the rich musical traditions of Latin America. The track is as sonically heavy as it is emotionally evocative—rooted in themes of environmental loss, particularly the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest.

Not a surprising topic, considering these Colombian, Brazilian and Venezuelan musicians, are all from countries with the rainforest in their backyard.

“It’s a pleasure to share a song with Juanes, not only a legend of Latin music, but also a true heavy metal fan,” says Paulo Xisto.

“Man! It’s been a pleasure to make this song with you. Since my teenage years, metal has been a part of my essence, and having the opportunity to record the solo and sing has been amazing,” says JUANES.

A Cross-Cultural Creative Journey

The collaboration unfolded over six months, beginning with CULTURA TRES sendingJUANES a batch of punk-infused riffs. When JUANES returned with haunting, psychedelic guitar additions, the song’s energy shifted entirely—prompting a complete rewrite of the original material. This creative back-and-forth resulted in a track that balances dark melodies with abrasive power.

“JUANES is an incredible metal guitarist—when we first heard his solo on ‘Cien,’ it blew us away,” says frontman Alejandro Montoya.

Originally drafted in English, the lyrics only truly resonated when the band followed Paulo’s suggestion to switch to Spanish. The change added a deeper sense of authenticity and emotional weight. The contrasting vocal styles—JUANES’ melancholic chants and Alejandro’s screaming vocals—reflect the song’s central tensions: beauty versus destruction, tradition versus progress.

“Blending metal and Latin music in one of our native languages (Spanish), helps showcase the power and potential of South American metal!” says Paulo.

Metal Meets Legacy: How It All Came Together

What may surprise casual fans is that JUANES—known worldwide for his Latin pop-rock hits—started his career in a metal band (Ekhymosis, 1988). His admiration for Sepultura and deep respect for Paulo’s legacy created a natural bridge for this collaboration. After one of JUANES’ shows in Amsterdam, Paulo and Alejandro were invited backstage, where they had a chance to check out JUANES’ newly released signature Fender guitar. Mutual admiration, shared roots, and even common crew members eventually led to exchanging riffs and ideas and “Cien” was born.

“Once a metalhead, always a metalhead,” says Paulo.

About CULTURA TRES

With members from Colombia, Brazil, and Venezuela, CULTURA TRES is a genre-defying metal act known for blending sludge, thrash, and traditional South American sounds. Their 2023 album Camino de Brujos (Universal Music) solidified their reputation across Europe, Japan, and Latin America as a truly innovative force in heavy music.

About JUANES

Barbarians of California (Feat. AWOLNATION, Tinfed) Share "Bazooka" Video + Announce Album + First Show

The West Coast's contribution to hardcore punk is undeniable. That tradition of aggression, passion, and scrappy melodicism continues with The Barbarians Of California, an engaging new manifestation of iconoclastic spirit and true bombast. Featuring Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION and Eric Stenman of Tinfed, as well as being a noted producer, TBOC are equal opportunity iconoclasts, gleefully thrashing the left and the right in the hardcore-punk tradition of nonconformity and raw fury. The band isn't "political," because they aren't advocating for anyone's platform. The central message is defiance

Today, the band has announced its debut album And Now I'm Just Gnashing My Teeth. It arrives October 4 via ONErpm. Pre-order it here.

The band also announced its first show on October 19 at the Troubadour in L.A., with Strife, Will Haven, and Berthold City also to appear. Get tickets here.

"This album is the culmination of many, many hours spent chasing down a sound that we weren't, currently, hearing out in the world," says Stenman. "Personally, I almost felt guilty getting to make it... like we were putting our real lives on hold to pursue a pure passion project. I hope that the amount of fun that we had making it, comes through to the listener."

As for the gnarly and gritty new track "Bazooka," he continues, "I was psyched when Aaron gravitated towards this piece of music. It's a bit of a departure from a lot of what we're doing... but, it's definitely a sound I think we'll pursue more in the future."

The video also nods to an adjacent aspect of the hardcore scene's culture, as it's comprised of some incredible skateboarding footage. Stenman says, "Putting this video together was also a blast. I first became passionate about music when I began to learn about bands in the back of Thrasher magazine. The fact that Aaron's cousin happens to be Mike Mo Capaldi, one of the coolest skaters ever, is just amazing. Mike and his friends had all this extra footage lying around and we were more than happy to make use of it. Lastly, the simple fact that we have a song titled 'Bazooka' makes this whole project worth doing!"

So, who, exactly, are The Barbarians of California? Let's find out, shall we?

Eric Stenman and Aaron Bruno first collided in the California hardcore scene of the early '90s. Stenman cut his teeth in the same Sacramento community that eventually launched diverse and disparate acts like Deftones, Far, Will Haven, Team Sleep, Hella, Dance Gavin Dance, Death Grips, and Trash Talk. Bruno was born and raised just north of L.A. and nicknamed "AWOL" by his high school friends.  Eric played guitar for cutting-edge, electro-infused rockers Tinfed. Commercial success eluded them despite a cult following, a deal with a major label, and an appearance on the M:I 2 soundtrack.

Bruno co-founded the hardcore band Insurgence as a teenager. His next band, Home Town Hero, toured with Weezer and Stone Temple Pilots and released a major label album, but combusted in 2004. Next came Under The Influence Of Giants, who, despite critical acclaim, disbanded in 2008. Stenman became one of the most sought-after producers of alternative rock. His discography as a producer, mixer, and engineer includes important releases from 7 Seconds, Senses Fail, ††† (Crosses), and AWOLNATION. AWOLNATION, of course, is the multi-platinum act Bruno formed in 2009.

The spirit of the underground and the personal catharsis delivered through metallic hardcore never left either of them. So, when Aaron learned that Eric crafted a batch of throwback bangers combining impassioned angst with modern sensibilities, he wanted in immediately. The Barbarians were born.

The apparent "full circle" moment isn't lost on either of them. "It's a funny time in our lives to go back and make the most aggressive music we've ever created," Stenman laughs. “Both of us have always had a love for this world. If given the opportunity, why not try to give back to it?"

The band has shared the video for its latest single, "Far Out, Bro" (Featuring Daryl Taberski of Snapcase). Watch it Below. It also premiered over at Revolver.

Be forewarned, though! It's a racer that will tear your head clean off your neck with its speed, ferocity, and DGAF attitude. Oh, and there's also a monster breakdown.

"This was a fun piece of music to chase down," says Eric Stenman. "Aaron [Bruno] challenged the band to come up with our fastest song yet. We're really proud of the way the riffs swarm around some of Aaron's most sarcastic, cutting vocals.  We were always hoping to have Daryl(Taberski from Snapcase on a song, and he immediately took this one. Both Aaron and I have vivid memories of listening to Snapcase back in the '90s and his presence really helps to drive this project home."

"Far Out, Bro" follows  "Where Are the Punks," out now via ONErpm. Watch the video here

About Ashley Ryan
With an “abundance of firepower” (Billboard), Corona, California native and Spinville Entertainment artist Ashley Ryan is taking Nashville’s music scene by storm. An early penchant for poetry led to a natural progression into songwriting at 16, when her grandfather gifted her her first guitar. “I didn’t have anyone to sing my songs, so I started singing them myself, and it just seemed to work.” Shortly after discovering her vocal talents, and after giving college a try in her home state, she ventured east to Nashville to continue her journey (and college at Belmont University) in country music’s capital.

Capturing emotions from heartbreak to honkytonk, Ashley’s music provides listeners with an energy and authenticity that gives listeners a classic country tune with a modernized twist. Shortly after the move to Music City, her musical talents were recognized by 4x GRAMMY® Award-winning country star Keith Urban at a private event. A quick dialogue between the two led to an impromptu duet of Keith’s hit song “Without You” - ultimately leading to an invitation to perform the duet again at Urban’s sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Ryan’s debut song with Spinville, “Hush Little Baby,”, released in January 2023 and quickly went viral, amassing over 30 million views on Tik Tok and Facebook, and over 11 million streams on Spotify alone. Her latest release, “full-fledged barn-burner” (Billboard) “Too Far Gone,” is yet another example of Ryan’s vocal prowess and a nod to the female stars that inspire her. “I grew up singing ‘Before He Cheats’ and ‘Gunpowder and Lead.’ I really love fiddle in a song - I love that old traditional country, the grungy female country with the sassy drop D guitar and rolling banjo. So that’s what you’ll get from me.”

In January 2024, Ryan pulled together some fan favorites - along with a few new tunes - and released her debut EP, Too Far Gone. The project included “Hush Little Baby,” “Too Far Gone,” and “certified country sass” (The Boot) “One Tractor Mind,” as well as electric guitar fueled up-tempo, "Bad For You.”

Thunderstorm Artis Releases "My Story" via ONErpm

Singer-songwriter Thunderstorm Artis, a recent Nashville transplant via the Portland, Ore., music scene, releases a compelling new single, “My Story,” available now via global music giant ONErpm. Listen to the new song Below.

Written by Hawaii native Artis, award-winning songwriter Jess Cates and producer, drummer and songwriter Colton Price, both of Nashville, “My Story” offers a story of redemption, as the chorus proclaims:

I once was lost then you rescued me
And My broken life became your masterpiece,
Now I live to tell how You set me free
This is my story, my story

As Artis, who rose to fame in 2020 as a finalist on Season 18 of The Voice, explains it, “This song is about a person who was lost but found love through a relationship with Jesus. It talks about how their life changed for the better and how they feel grateful for the rescue and freedom they experienced.”

Our intent, he continues, was for the lyrics to show their journey “from darkness to light, highlighting the love and mercy they receive every day.” Overall, he adds, “the song conveys a message of hope, strength and faith in the power of love and salvation.

After touring with Train last summer and opening for the Zac Brown Band last fall, Artis is currently performing on his own Don’t Let Me Let You Go Tour this spring. For dates and tickets, visit ThunderstormArtis.com.

ONErpm's William Michael Morgan Readies New EP 'Onto Something' for This Friday, 3/15

Six-Song EP Available This Friday, March 15 via ONErpm on all Platforms
Pre-Save HERE

Set to Perform at Ole Red Nashville Tomorrow, March 14

Country neo-traditionalist William Michael Morgan is bringing ’70s swagger back to Nashville with his brand new, six-song EP Onto Something, set for release Friday, March 15, on all platforms via ONErpm Nashville. Pre-save Onto Something HERE. Morgan will celebrate the release on the eve of its arrival with a one-hour pop-up set at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in downtown Nashville, Thursday, March 14.

“I couldn’t be more excited to get this EP out,” says the hard-working Morgan, with his famous mustache grin. “Tracking with (multiple CMA, ACM and Grammy Award-winning producer) Keith Stegall was an incredible experience, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we put together.”

“William’s new music is a welcome addition to the increasingly popular neo-traditional movement that websites like Saving Country Music have credited him with starting,” notes Ryan Cunningham, A&R director of Country Music for ONErpm. “This EP will stand out amid the pop influences that currently define modern country.”

And there’s plenty to notice. The two pre-released tracks, the mid-tempo “In Walked You” with its breezy barroom vibe—In walked you on a Saturday night/Neon blue lightin’ up your eyes—countered by the wistfulness of the bittersweet “Not Letting Go”—We’ve gone too far to get back to where we were before—sets the tone for a free-flowing, six-song set with fiddle and steel guitar licks evocative of the lyrical stylings of decades past.

“Country music is alive and well,” states one of Nashville’s most celebrated men behind the scenes and multi-award-winning producer Keith Stegall. “It lives and breathes when William Michael Morgan picks up a guitar and tells us stories of love lost and honky-tonks found. Country music at its finest.”

Morgan’s current single, “Pour A Little Whiskey On It,” is like a salve for the EP’s more vulnerable moments. When he croons, If it’s gonna be a lonely night/Might as well put her memory on ice, you know what’s coming—a straight-up drinking song that seeks to right the wrongs with every cowboy (and cowgirl)’s favorite libation:

      If she’s really adios,
      I guess it’s easy come, easy go;
I might as well honky tonk it,
      Maybe all night long it;
      Take this heartache to town,
And pour a little whiskey on it

The EP’s release will be capped off by the premiere of Morgan’s music video for the track “Pour A Little Whiskey On It” coming later this month.

Morgan and Stegall round the album out with the title track, a gentle nod to the promise of a new relationship; the regret-tinged “She Don’t Like Old Country”; and a goodbye/destination song that, despite the lyrics, isn’t quite as sad as it could be—and maybe that’s the point.

Britnee Kellogg Releases "She's Come a Long Way" via ONErpm

Singer/songwriter Britnee Kellogg releases “She’s Come a Long Way,” a song about the enduring female spirit and perseverance through hardships, via global music company ONErpm. Listen Below.

“I really wanted to write a song for those that have been through a lot in life but continue to get up and keep going,” shares Kellogg. “It takes a lot of grit, courage and strength to get back up after failing time and time again, but one of my main goals in my music is to help others feel heard and like they’re not alone in what they’re going through. I truly feel we need more music from women who have been THROUGH IT, and I feel like this song is a great start.”

Produced by Autumn McEntire and Jared Conrad and written by Kellogg, McEntire, Danielle Blakey and Marti Dodson, “She’s Come a Long Way” is a female anthem that champions resilience. It is a song that women who have faced any sort of adversity will want to immediately add to their playlists:

She’s been down in the dust,
      Hit her knees but she got back up;
Got her feet on the ground but her head’s in the clouds to stay

      She’s been quiet too long,
      But you can’t steal a songbird’s song;
      She was drowning in noise,
      Now she’s got something to say;
      She’s come a long way
She’s come a long, long way

The accompanying music video, due out by the end of the month, will feature a variety of women from different backgrounds and professions.

A Vancouver, Wash., native, Kellogg’s love of country music started at age 9 when she attended a Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash concert. Smitten from the first note, Kellogg knew even then she had found her chosen career. Today, you’ll find her sharing the stage with artists such as Blake Shelton, Eric Paslay, Lee Brice, Kane Brown, Little Big Town and Keith Urban. You may have also seen her on seasons 11 and 12 of American Idol.

Kellogg is currently performing on stages across the U.S., writing new music and recording in the studio. She is booked exclusively by The Kinkead Entertainment Agency of Nashville. For more information, visit BritneeKellogg.com or follow along on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok @BritneeKellogg.

Thunderstorm Artis Releases "Don't Let Me Let You Go" via ONErpm

Singer-songwriter Thunderstorm Artis, who rose to fame as a finalist on Season 18 of The Voice, is releasing a new single, “Don’t Let Me Let You Go,” today via global music giant ONErpm. Listen Below.

Written by Hawaii native Artis—who recently moved to Nashville after spending time on the Portland, Ore., music scene—Dakota Striplin (The Voice Australia) and singer-songwriter Phoebe Kathleen Scott, “Don’t Let Me Let You Go” is heartache in a song. Full of quiet moments that build in intensity, underscored by lush instrumentation, “Don’t Let Me Let You Go” is essentially an extended metaphor for a relationship that has lost its rudder:

I don’t wanna lose you to find me
And I know you’re tired of fighting
I wish that my words said enough, but they don’t
So don’t let me let you go

As Artis explains it, “In every relationship and friendship, you’ll find yourself at a crossroads where you just feel like giving up and throwing in the towel, but real love is a choice,” adding that in his own life, “I’m thankful for the special people who, when I was pulling away, just pulled me closer and held onto me and who made me realize we can’t change the past, but we can make a better future.”

Artis, who joined Train for the band’s summer tour, has also recently opened for the Zac Brown Band and will embark on the Don’t Let Me Let You Go Tour this spring. For dates and tickets, visit ThunderstormArtis.com.

He plans to release a second single on ONErpm next month. For more information follow Artis on Instagram and TikTok @ThunderstormArtis, Facebook.com/ThunderstormArtis1 and YouTube.

Britnee Kellogg Releases New Single "Love Thy Neighbor" via ONErpm

Love Thy Neighbor,” a sassy song about a woman noticing the woman two doors down showing (in her opinion) a little too much southern hospitality to her neighbors, is Britnee Kellogg’s new release on global music company ONErpm. Listen Below.

Produced by Autumn McEntire and Jared Conrad and written by McEntire, Riley Thomas and Sarah Turner, “Love Thy Neighbor” has already gone viral on multiple platforms, making it an easy choice when it came time to pick Kellogg’s next single. It is a funny, upbeat, lighthearted song that will get you dancing, laughing and singing along:

I know I should love thy neighbor, like I love myself
If it’s wrong to hate her, I’m headed straight to hell
Cause the girl next door don’t stay next door, and I ain’t one to judge
But she’s a serial heartbreaking home wrecker, who likes to love thy neighbor too much

A Vancouver, Wash., native, Kellogg’s love of country music started at age 6 when she attended a Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash concert. Smitten from the first note, Kellogg knew even then she had found her chosen career. Today, you’ll find her sharing the stage with artists such as Blake Shelton, Eric Paslay, Lee Brice, Kane Brown, Jon Pardi and Keith Urban. You may have also seen her on seasons 11 and 12 of American Idol.

Kellogg is currently performing on stages across the U.S., writing new music and recording in the studio. She is booked exclusively by The Kinkead Entertainment Agency of Nashville. ONErpm's William Michael Morgan Releases New Single "Not Letting Go"

Country neo-traditionalist William Michael Morgan, called “stellar” and “a leading artist of this style” by MusicRow’s Robert K. Oermann, is releasing the powerful new ballad “Not Letting Go” today on all platforms via ONErpm Nashville. Listen Below.

“Faith, hope and love are some of the best things God gives us,” says Morgan, who co-wrote “Not Letting Go” with Dan Huston and Sam Banks. “The greatest, in my opinion, is love, and it’s not always easy. As much as we want to do the right thing and keep love going—it may not be worth it to keep it anymore, and letting go is the only way to learn, grow and truly know and show love,” Morgan explains.

Multiple CMA, ACM and GRAMMY Award-winning producer Keith Stegall produced “Not Letting Go” as part of Morgan’s upcoming EP, which will also feature the critically acclaimed “In Walked You.”

Morgan’s new music is a welcomed addition to the increasingly popular neo-traditional movement that country music websites like Saving Country Music have credited him with starting.

“Tim Wipperman, Ryan Cunningham and the whole ONErpm team really believe in the kind of music we are making,” Morgan notes and says working with the legendary Stegall “is something I’ve wanted my whole career.”

He is managed by Joe Carter and Mike Taliaferro of Carter and Co.; booking is handled by The Kinkead Entertainment Agency, Nashville.

ONErpm Enterprise Solutions, is a Software as a Service (SAAS) platform that adapts ONErpm’s proprietary Content Management System (CMS) to cater to the unique needs of record labels and content owners seeking to grow more efficiently. This comprehensive administrative system streamlines digital distribution of music and videos and other essential day-to-day operations, including managing artist marketing campaigns, assigning work tasks to departmental employees and setting up payments, among other activities. The platform empowers companies to efficiently scale operations with transparency and has been a transformative factor for ONErpm since the inception of its CMS in 2019. Since then, ONErpm has experienced a more than fourfold increase in revenues and staff, largely due to economies of scale achieved.

“We want to partner with like-minded companies who need the technology and tools we have developed and fine-tuned over the years to take their business to the next level” adds CEO
Emmanuel Zunz. “We see a need for this service as there are many interesting labels that might struggle to grow in an increasingly competitive environment where having robust tech will give them the competitive edge to succeed.”

The second company,
OFFstep.com, which is Enterprise Solutions first project, is the group’s new DIY offering, where independent artists can upload and distribute unlimited releases for as low as $12 per year while retaining 100% of their royalties. At this price point, OFFstep offers the most affordable plan of its kind. As a result, ONErpm will only partner with artists and labels with whom it has forged relationships and, moving forward, DIY clients will be directed to OFFstep.

Throughout its evolution, ONErpm shifted its focus toward offering bespoke solutions to artists and record labels and naturally became a full-service music label and distribution provider. With OFFstep, the company better caters to the needs of DIY customers in a way they have become accustomed to, at the most competitive price point. Upgrades to intermediate and advanced plans that unlock additional features and permissions are also available.

“Migrating ONErpm’s basic distribution service to OFFstep has been a long time coming, states Zunz. “For years we have invested in marketing personnel and built a global marketing infrastructure that can render services at scale while tackling the challenges of a constantly evolving digital market,” Zunz concludes.

With the addition of ONErpm’s publishing division introduced in 2022 and the company’s creative arm ONErpm Studios, that oversees recording and video production, ONErpm consists of five distinct entities, each with its unique focus and goals, yet that share synergies with one another.

Collectively the group provides a wider array of flexible and tailor-made services to various stakeholders in the music industry. This includes DIY artists embarking on their careers via OFFstep, emerging and established artists on a strong growth trajectory or record labels needing value-added services from ONErpm, and enterprises in different stages of development that need greater independence and flexibility leveraging ONErpm’s technology. Enterprise Solutions will also serve as a vehicle for strategic joint ventures with promising entities, as the technology can be combined with financial investments and marketing services.

William Michael Morgan Releases Official Music Video for "In Walked You"

Country music neo-traditionalist William Michael Morgan, described by Music Row’s Robert K. Oermann as “stellar” and “a leading artist of this style,” has released a new video in support of his current single, “In Walked You” via ONErpm Nashville.

Directed and produced by Sean McGee (Sarah Darling, Sam Outlaw), the video for “In Walked You” was shot by Thomas Chi on location at Cahootz Honkey Tonk in Lebanon, Tenn. A classic boy meets girl story, McGee brought in professional Latin dancers for their take on a spicy Western Swing and even let Morgan take a turn as bartender, with humorous results.

In walked you on a Saturday night
Neon blue lightin’ up your eyes
And the only open seat in the place was next to mine
I’d have bet I was never gonna bet on love again
       Then in walked you

“It’s always fun building a song in the studio and playing it live,” Morgan says, “but I feel like it really comes alive in a music video, especially with a song like ‘In Walked You.’ From our director to our actors, label and songwriters, we feel like we truly captured the magic.”

"This music video was really fun and special to be part of,” agrees Kylie Dembek, project manager for ONErpm Nashville. “We kept it simple: tell the story the song told. The actors and William did a great job bringing it to life, just as we envisioned it.”

ONErpm Signs Singer/Songwriter Dan Smalley

ONErpm Nashville is proud to announce the signing of singer/songwriter Dan Smalley. ONErpm will oversee Smalley’s new releases, culminating in a full-length album next year.

“I’m an Alaskan-born military brat who grew up in Shreveport, La., where I started playing music in the third grade,” Smalley says. “I committed myself to a life in country music once I graduated high school, then moved my wife and two kids to Nashville in 2017 after signing my first publishing deal with [veteran producer] Keith Stegall.

“Since then,” Smalley continues, “I’ve also had deals with Big Machine, Broken Bow and Universal. But now I feel confident in taking the reins back and moving forward with what I moved to this town to do—and that’s to make country music my heroes would be proud of.” After pausing to reflect, he adds, “I didn’t drag my family across the country to let a couple of disappointing deals slow me down. I feel like I spent the last six years learning valuable lessons from the best in the business; now I’m looking toward the future.”

Smalley says he is excited to be working with ONErpm to release a series of singles, leading up to the release of his first self-produced, full-length record, The State of Country Music, in April 2024.

“We are thrilled Dan Smalley has signed with us,” says Tim Wipperman, managing director of ONErpm Nashville. “He offers a new brand of country music, infused with the swampy sounds of his roots. Dan will be releasing songs regularly in advance of an album project next year.” Wipperman notes that Smalley, who is booked by CAA, has become a European phenom through the Nashville Nights Festival in Denmark.

Smalley has also found success as a BMI songwriter, with upcoming cuts by indie artist Jesslee and Warner Music recording artist Randall King. For more information about Smalley, check out his website
