Stoney Creek RecordsJelly Roll and Broken Bow RecordsLainey Wilson cap off a monumental year with a Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase #1 single with "Save Me." The monster hit flew up the charts serving as Jelly Roll’s third consecutive single to top the charts in 2023 with "Son of A Sinner" reaching that position in January followed by "Need a Favor" in August.  Written by 2X GRAMMY® nominee/2023 CMA Best New Artist of the Year winner Jelly Roll, “Save Me” featuring Lainey Wilson was released as part of his debut Country Album, Whitsitt Chapel (released June 2nd, 2023) – which earned the biggest Country debut album in Billboard Consumption Chart history. For Lainey, it marks her sixth release to top the charts and with just a six-week gap since she last peaked at #1 with "Watermelon Moonshine", she now holds the Billboard chart history record for the shortest break between #1 singles by a female country artist.

2023 has served as a career defining year for both Jelly and Lainey with each recently earning two GRAMMY® nominations including a joint nomination for "Save Me" in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category. In the general categories, Jelly Roll earned a Best New Artist nomination and  Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottom Country landed a nomination for Best Country Album. In addition, you'll find both up for nominations at the Pollstar Awards in 2024.

LAINEY WILSON & JELLY ROLL REACH NEW MILESTONES WITH THEIR 2023 CMA AWARDS WINS

Broken Bow Records' Lainey Wilson and Stoney Creek Records' Jelly Roll took home a total of six awards and delivered three stand-out performances and show stopping acceptance speeches at Country Music's Biggest Night, the CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. In the 57-year history of the awards, Lainey Wilson shattered glass as the first female country artist in over a decade to capture "Entertainer of the Year," joining a class of iconic trail blazers Loretta Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, The Chicks and Taylor Swift. Premiering the television broadcast performance of her next single "Wildflowers And Wild Horses" from her "Album of the Year" winning Bell Bottom Country, Lainey Wilson ignited the stage with a fiery delivery solidifying her recognition as the most awarded artist at the 2023 broadcast.

As Jelly Roll’s monster smash hit “
Save Me” featuring Lainey approaches the top of charts, this "New Artist of the Year" winner kicked off the broadcast with a soulful/gospel rendition of multi-format hit "Need a Favor" with the iconic Wynonna Judd.  Closing out the broadcast with a show-stopping message of love and unity, Jelly Roll was joined by K. Michelle for "Love Can Build a Bridge" featured on BMG's "A Tribute to The Judds" available now here.

View full details on their wins below.

Lainey Wilson wins:

  • Entertainer of the Year

  • Female Artist of the Year (Her second consecutive win in this category)

  • Album of the Year - Bell Bottom Country - Producer: Jay Joyce; Mix Engineers: Jason Hall, Jay Joyce

  • Music Video of the Year - "wait in the truck" Hardy featuring Lainey Wilson

  • Musical Event of the Year - "wait in the truck" Hardy featuring Lainey Wilson

Jelly Roll wins:

  • New Artist of the Year

Wiping away tears, Lainey shared the following as she accepted the win for "Entertainer of the Year." "I guess nine might be my lucky number. That's how many times we were nominated for the CMAs this year. It's also the year [age nine] I wrote my first song, the year I got my first pair of bell bottoms. It's the year that momma and daddy brought me to Nashville for the very first time and took me to the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. It's the year that my momma and daddy brought home this horse named Tex. The horse was wild. It needed breaking and they put me on the back of that thing and said, 'You better hold on, you better ride.' There were times that I was crying and I wanted to get down. I'm like, 'Let me off the back of this thing.' Every time it would start bucking, I'd hold on little bit tighter. I think that right there is one of things that prepared me for this ride. Because, it is wild. Thank y'all for letting me be me and giving me this opportunity."

Jelly Roll received an electrifying standing ovation for his first CMA win as "New Artist of the Year." "There is something poetic about a 39-year-old man winning 'New Artist of the Year'. I don't know where you're at in your life or what you're going through, but I want to tell you to keep going. I want to tell you success is on the other side of it. I want to tell you that it's gonna be ok. I want to tell you that the windshield is bigger than the rearview for a reason! Because what's in front of you is so much more important than what's behind you."

JASON ALDEAN ANNOUNCES 11th STUDIO ALBUM, HIGHWAY DESPERADO, OUT NOVEMBER 3rd

With 27 number one singles, 17 billion streams and 20 million albums sold, reigning ACM Artist of the Decade Jason Aldean today announced his highly-anticipated 11th studio album, HIGHWAY DESPERADO, will be released November 3rd. The album is available for pre-save/pre-add now, including exclusive pre-order packages here.

Aldean shared the inspiration for the album’s title came from his latest sold-out headlining arena tour, as well as his early days as an artist. “I think when I look back on it, I built my career early on my live show, and have been on the road touring since I was 18 years old. For us, touring is our favorite part. Getting on the bus and going town to town and playing our shows and doing our thing and seeing the fans… the title for the tour and album was really inspired from that,” shared Aldean, adding that it also served as inspiration for the album’s title track, which he co-wrote.

HIGHWAY DESPERADO features fourteen total tracks, including Aldean’s breakthrough Hot 100 chart-topping single and current Top 10 Country radio hit, “Try That In A Small Town,” which has more than 120M Global streams to date. The album also features the newly released track “Let Your Boys Be Country,” as well as three tracks co-written by Aldean. The 3X ACM Entertainer of the Year winner first introduced new music from the album in May with the release of the fan-appreciation anthem,
“Tough Crowd,” at this year’s ACM Awards, where Aldean was an Entertainer of the Year nominee. Released today as another preview of new music to come, “Let Your Boys Be Country” was written by Jaron Boyer, Allison Veltz Cruz, and Micah Wilshire and is available here

The album marks the first new music since Aldean’s 10th studio project, the double album
MACON, GEORGIA, which earned praise from Rolling Stone, Stereogum, The Tennessean, Entertainment Tonight, E! News and more.  The album earned Aldean his 27th career-charting #1 single, "Trouble With A Heartbreak,” as well as a Billboard Music Award nomination for “Top Country Song” and awards from ACM, CMT, iHeart, and a GRAMMY nomination for “If I Didn’t Love You” with Carrie Underwood. Since making his chart debut in 2005, the Georgia native has earned the most Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart - more than any other artist - his “songs of small-town living, love and loss have resonated with a loyal fanbase” (Billboard) and have “vaulted him to the pinnacle of Country music success” (Atlanta Journal Constitution). His current tour of the same name continues this evening in Jacksonville, Florida before heading to Orange Beach, AL. For more information on Jason Aldean including additional tour dates and new music, visit www.JasonAldean.com.

JELLY ROLL EARNS SECOND CONSECUTIVE #1 AT COUNTRY RADIO WITH “NEED A FAVOR”

The Platinum- Certified Smash Off His Record Breaking Country Debut Album Whitsitt Chapel Tops The Aircheck and Billboard Country Charts Following Opening Weekend Of The Backroad Baptism Tour

The Backroad Baptism Tour Continues Its 45-City Run This Week
With Stops In Mansfield, MA, Banger, ME and More

Entertainment phenomenon Jelly Roll earned his second consecutive #1 at Country radio this week with his Platinum-selling single, “Need A Favor.” The chart-topping hit, which also earned multiple weeks on top of the rock airplay charts, is the singer/songwriter’s follow up single to his first #1 at Country radio, “Son of A Sinner.” The milestone comes on the heels of the Backroad Baptism tour launch, which kicked off this week in Southhaven, MS (7.28) before heading to Atlanta, GA (7.29), Orange Beach, AL (7.30), Huntsville, AL (8.1) and Darien Center, NY (8.3). The 43-city headlining arena tour continues tonight in Mansfield, MA before heading to Banger, ME (8.5), Gilford, NH (8.8) and Bridgeport, CT (9.9).

In an interview with Billboard, Jelly Roll shared, “A second #1 at Country radio is something I wouldn’t have even allowed myself to dream about. 'Need A Favor' has absolutely changed my life. It’s been incredible to watch the fan reaction and see what’s happening out there on the road. Thank you to everyone who has continued to believe in this song since the beginning and thank you to Country radio for supporting therapeutic music like 'Need A Favor' since day one. It’s amazing to have your support and I’ve seen first hand the impact the music continues to have with people across the country.”

Written by Jelly (Jason DeFord), Austin Nivarel, Joe Ragosta, and Rob Ragosta, “Need A Favor” is one of 13 tracks on his debut Country album, Whitsitt Chapel. Released in June 2023, Whitsitt Chapel became the largest country debut album in Billboard Consumption chart history- earning the singer/songwriter another milestone after he topped Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart for more than 28 weeks - the longest reign for an artist in the chart’s existence. Jelly co-wrote all 13 tracks on the album, including his breakthrough viral single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt — which has earned Platinum certification from the RIAA. Born and raised in Nashville’s Antioch neighborhood, the former addict and drug dealer draws from his personal experiences to tell the story of a man who has been through the ringer and isn’t afraid to share his raw truth. The 3X CMT Award winning artist has had a history-making “breakthrough year” (American Songwriter), selling out the Ryman Auditorium as well as  his hometown arena of 18,000+ fans at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, earning two #1s at Country radio and multi-week hits at Rock simultaneously, launching a 44-date arena Background Baptism Tour, and releasing an all-access documentary of his life at home and on the road, Jelly Roll: Save Me (Hulu).
