Los Angeles-based hard rock duo, Satellite Citi, have today returned with their latest single, "Give Me Apocalypse" and they've brought pop punk disruptor, Ray Hawthorne with them. Speaking on the inspiration behind today's single release, Satellite Citi share:

"We wrote “Give Me Apocalypse” during a time when everything felt out of our control. It’s about the idea that sometimes the world has to burn around you before you can let go of fear and face reality.

Do you remember that episode of Degrassi where Ashley really wants Craig to tell her he loves her, but Craig gets all panicked and can’t tell her that he does? It causes so much drama in their relationship. She begins to question her feelings for him and because of that, he becomes seemingly unsure of his feelings for her. So, in an effort to quell the bad vibes, Craig writes a song that includes lyrics IMPLICITLY AND EXPLICITLY stating that he loves her. (Total banger by the way, the only song of his I like better is the one he sings at the battle of the bands after the two inevitably break up, it’s also about Ashley. I believe it’s called ‘What I Know’) Anyway, Craig was only able to admit he loved Ashley in song form, but you as the viewer are left wondering ‘Does he really love her, or was this just his solution to end the drama?’ Or, ’Is this truly the only way he can express himself because he’s kind of nervous about speaking his true feelings outside of the structured environment of a song?’. I tend to believe it’s a mixture of both. So what I’m trying to say is, this collection of songs is kind of like that. I always feel like I have so much to say but often feel a bit too vulnerable when discussing my actual feelings. So for the majority of my life, I’ve just written them into songs instead. These songs can be quite vulnerable even if they seem silly at times. So now you’re left to wonder... am I telling the truth or just trying to get rid of Ashley’s bad vibes?

We were all in shock from what was happening, I remember we were all just sitting there talking about how unreal everything felt, and constantly checking to see if our homes and friends were safe. But during such a tragic time we were able to make something so beautiful from it. All of us together ended up making such a powerful song that will hopefully help anyone who needs it. And even though the fires have stopped, there are still tons of people who are suffering, so we want to help as much as we can and give all of the royalties to the victims of the LA wildfires."

Ekoh, a versatile artist from Las Vegas, blends hip-hop, rock, and alternative genres to create a unique sound that defies boundaries. He gained national attention with his breakout single "Hole in Your Head," which earned rotation on Sirius XM radio. Since then, Ekoh has had five more singles featured on Octane, as well as his song “Good Things” reaching top 40 on the radio charts, cementing his place in the rock world.

Forming in 2017, Colorblind have finally found their rhythm with brothers Travis & Tyler Moseley, Justin Page and Nicholas Asper. The band combines various aspects of rock, pop, & hip-hop to create a unique sound of their own. Their catchy and addictive vocal melodies combined with an energetic live show has made them a force to be reckoned with. The band started their touring career in early 2024 supporting acts like Attack Attack!, Caskets, Honey Revenge, Until I Wake and recently signed their first record deal with rock & metal labels Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records.
